Okay. >> Where' this come from? I've had it for It's an old Elvis Presley thing. I'm a big Elvis fan. >> All right, everybody. Welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Midwest Patrol, and it is fake cops Amazon cop kit backfires instantly. Ah, you haven't seen it, but I'm anxious to see what this fake Amazon cop kit looks like. Here we go. On September 13th, 2024 in Christian County, Illinois, deputies were notified of a man who appeared to be impersonating a police officer while picking up his child from a school bus stop. >> You don't have any firearms or nothing on you, do you? >> Okay. Okay. Don't reach for it. Okay. >> Okay. Is your name Snow? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Is this a real firearm, Mr. Snow? I'm here. Okay. Go ahead. Put your hands up. >> Hands up here. Put them on the back of your head. Turn around. >> Okay. Got his gun on him. >> You have a pocket knife. talking about that. >> Okay, these guys are in unmarked cars. So, this is going to be more of like your your fugitive task force or these are different type of guys that they're looking for him. >> Unmarks. >> Plain clothes. Keep >> your hands up here. Oh, he's got his body cam on now. >> Any other weapons, sir? No. Okay. Kind of curious why you're dressed like this. Like you're some kind of law enforcement agent and holding a firearm at a >> handcuffs. So my normal green round here, >> right? Listen to me. At this time, you're not under arrest right this second, but you are going to be detained. Okay. So in Okay. All right. Go ahead and put your hands behind your back. >> We don't have issues with the neighbor. That's why I wear the body when your guys told us to. You know, >> now there's nothing wrong with wearing a body camera. Um I don't know what Illinois's laws are, but I don't see anything. You know, he's saying he's wearing it for the neighbor, but I'm guessing they have a little more information than what he wants to give right now. >> That's what we've been doing. >> All right. >> You did. Okay. No, you have the right sign. >> Anything you say can't be used against you, coral. I need the keys to the dog kennel from my >> Okay, wait a minute. Since you're detained, I'm going to tell you Miranda. >> Oh boy. >> Your right to an attorney. >> Got his fake badge. >> Question that is going to Florida attorney will be appointed to represent you without any cost to you. Do you understand your right, sir? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Okay. Where did this come from? I've had it for quite a while. It's an old Elvis Presley thing. I'm a big Elvis fan. I never >> Sure. Ain't nobody going to see it over that belly anyway. If it was on his belt, that belly is going to just swallow that badge right up. That's why he keeps it in his pocket. We're coming from though, you got a body camera on, you got a got a duty belt on, you've got a gun, which as far as I know, you're not supposed to have on you. You have a badge. Uh because you don't have valid Floyd, so you can't have a gun. Correct. >> No, I don't. >> And you know you don't have a valid, but yet you're carrying a pistol on yourself. >> So you got prior for impersonating a public official. >> You want to go down there and picture that? >> Yeah, I do. >> What's going on? We're dealing with Mr. >> Okay. What's your name? >> I'm over here. >> Okay. If you want to separate yourself, that's fine. Yeah. Move on. >> Want to get in your way? >> Yeah. >> Well, but there's a kid on the bus. So, >> I want my boy to go. >> That's what I'm saying. So, what is it? Your son? >> Yes. >> Okay. And your one your son released the dicky. >> Yes. >> You want to go get the kid then? >> Yeah. >> You want to walk around the other way? >> No, I'm saying you walk down this way, but when you get the kid, walk around the other way. You guys have to come by here. >> Thank you. >> Yeah. Can I uh real phone mark? All right. >> Not right now, guys. They always start asking for phone calls. They haven't even finished even pulling stuff out of his pockets and stuff yet. Just chill. You'll get a phone call. >> Let her know. >> Mr. Snow, from from everything that you have on you, everything that we've been told, the reason why we're here is because people say that you've been personally police officer. Okay? You have the badge, you have the gun, you have everything else. That's why we're out with you. Once we know that you have the firearm on you and you don't have a valid Floyd, >> that's why you were being detained. >> And you Okay, listen. You're merandizing. >> So, right now, you're going to be >> Floyd has got to be some firearms. Uh, I don't even know. Probably a concealed carry type card. >> Under arrest. Okay. You're no longer detained. You are under arrest. >> You're under arrest for possession of firearm without foilance. And I'm going to say impersonating police officer because you have everything on you to be look like a police officer. >> I don't tell anybody that I am a cop. >> Somebody seen the badge. >> That's that's why we got called here because they said they thought you were a police officer or you're acting like a police officer. So we look into it and we find you got criminal history with impersonating a public official before. You don't have a Floyd card. Okay. >> But you have a radio, you have a badge, you have a gun, you have body, you have handcuffs. I don't use them for nothing. I just carry them. And I only carry a gun at all. Period. >> Here on the property. >> You can't even have a gun in your possession. Not a valid. You said, you know, you don't have a valid wall, though. >> Do you have any more firearms in the house? >> No. >> Whose house is it? >> It's Dicky's house. >> My aunt or my sister's. >> So, can I call my wife real quick? Let her know I'm going to minute. Is that loaded too? >> No. Yeah. And chambered. >> And chambered. >> Unchambered. Right. You understand your rights as he write them to you while ago? Correct. >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. You understand that you're going to go to the Christian County Jail to be booked and maybe held? That's up to the state's firm. That's not up to us. You understand that? >> We got to find out if they're going to hold me before we get there. >> There's no way of knowing. We don't know if they're going to hold you. That's up to the judge. Illinois. [snorts] Who knows? Based on the videos we watch, they might just be like, "Hey, here you go. We'll pay you $250 to leave." I wouldn't be surprised if the courts start doing that. And this has been a pathetic what the courts have done for not holding people accountable. >> We won't know till after we >> We're going to go up there and >> we're going to go no matter what. >> We're going to I'm going to make a phone call on the way up there. Okay. I'm going to go get a bag for all this. >> Okay. Right now, you're being charged, like I said, with possession of firearm without a uh person. Okay. >> What kind of radio is this? Who's this belong to? >> That's uh mine. I just bought it off the internet. It's like a It's not a police radio. It's got to be I got to have it programmed for it's like zone you pop that like a ham radio. So now they used to be able to most of our channels are encrypted now. So unless you have one of our radios, you're not going to be able to listen. But they used to be able to listen. And uh I remember our community was ticked off when we finally went to encry encrypted radios because they could no longer hear the traffic uh on their radios, their scanners when we were uh responding to calls and stuff. >> What about the body camera? Where'd you get that off of >> Amazon? I said the only thing I used for >> one of these dudes is carrying just so much crap. Chad's been here. >> I got a crossbow in my room next to my bed. >> I don't cuz my boys were out here shooting target factory yesterday. >> I'll show you. Sure. Where you going? >> Oh, yeah. That's fine. You can you can do that. Don't worry about that. >> Well, I thought the cop was out here yesterday. They're shooting the targets inside your own fence. >> A cop out here yesterday over here. >> No, we were looking for him yesterday >> because we've had reports. >> Well, what my old lady thought >> that one of the neighbors or somebody got >> cuz that's the worst [ __ ] problem neighbor I've got. >> That's why I put up my phone so I don't have to [ __ ] deal with it. >> Has nothing to do with I mean when they come home they're always yelling, screaming [ __ ] >> I got you. tell my little disabled boy to shut the [ __ ] up cuz he's trying to play a trumpet for bands for school. So the dude said what he said and I told him I said you tell my son shut up one more [ __ ] time I'm going to shut the [ __ ] mouth that simple. He shut up and he went in the house. But my boys were out here yesterday and my old lady said cuz I was visiting my dad in the nursing home. Now >> it's just all too much information. You know it they're not even here for him. this guy's he's just uh he's just humoring him by just listening to him. >> I would come home. She said, "Police, we're out here." And I was like, "Why? I ain't done nothing [ __ ] wrong." I said, "The worst I do is smoke pot on my own [ __ ] time cuz it's legal and I meddle down, you know? That's all I do. Smoke weed. It's legal." >> But you do it the legal way. Well, I don't smoke it around the kids and I don't smoke at the house. >> I'm not th you know, but you ain't got to explain it to me. >> I don't smoke around the kids. I don't smoke in the house. Smoke out in the shed or sitting out here or something, but they was part of the [ __ ] She thought the kids done something, saw something. >> Yeah. So, she come out chewing the kids' ass and the cop was looking across the yard at her, smiled at her when she said, "Boy, I'm your mom and you will listen to me." >> Gotcha. >> And >> Yep. Nope. That's why I thought yesterday Dave was here because my boys were target practicing and I was like, "Well, >> he's he's given all the verbal cues and and actually physical cues cuz he's backed away a few feet like, "Yep, no." Those are the those are the verbal and physical cues that somebody has done with your conversation. >> Take the BB gun or whatever and go all the way through all three. Got three targets there and four targets on the bottom and the fence. >> Yeah. You know why we are here now. So, >> okay. >> Cuz I was like, >> "All right, as long as you're certainly >> I was like, "What the hell's going [clears throat] on?" >> There's no more guns in the residence. It's your residence. >> I know. No, I mean, >> there's no pol you got up front. You got the lights in it. What color are those lights on the light bars? >> They don't. The car don't even run. >> It doesn't even run. >> What color are the light bar though? >> They're blue or clear? >> Uh, [groaning] I think they're blue. >> Like all white. don't even work either. >> Can I Do you mind if I try turn on? See if I can get it to work. >> They didn't work. >> Oh, now it's The car doesn't even work. And now it's like Well, they didn't work. [laughter] >> Listen. Do they or do they not? >> Not that I know. I don't know. >> Okay. Do you mind if we try to say they didn't work? I just put them on the car and let them set there. >> Are they plugged in? >> No. >> The wires aren't plugged in? There's not a box or anything that you turn them on with? No, they're just it's just the white bar. >> Okay. Do you care if I look at it? >> Plugs into lighter, but it's >> so it does. Listen. >> Are they red and blue? >> You're being around the bush, my man. Are they red and blue? >> I'm not going to know. >> All right. So, you don't mind what you just >> what you're looking at. You guys done got me. I mean, >> so we going to tell it a search for it. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Yeah. >> You guys going to tell it then? Go ahead. >> That's it. Good old police tactics where you're just like, "All right, well then I guess we'll just get tow it and we'll get a search warrant for it." Then it then it turns Well, if you're going to tow it, go ahead and just check it. >> Your side, right? >> So, so I can check it or not? >> Yeah. >> He did say yes, right? >> He did say yes. >> Okay. >> We're going around front. So, >> okay. Let's see what's up. See, >> you know he's been doing this. Well, I knew he'd get one day cuz I didn't feel comfortable with him walking around like that. But >> does he walk all around town like that? >> No, I mean I don't know where he goes or where he goes, but that's an old lady's brother. So much >> I don't like I don't want no problem cuz one day he called his mom a [ __ ] hunting a [ __ ] I took his big ass and I put him in the refrigerator. I hit him hard enough to with just just chest bump me. I hit him hard enough put him in the refrigerator and watch the refrigerator do that number. Other than that, I don't know. >> This guy just needs to [snorts] shut his mouth. >> Obviously, there are people standing out here like that school bus goddamn [ __ ] army. Do you know anything about We don't have the keys here. Do you know where the keys could be? >> Okay. >> Okay. Let's see this car. >> Oh, he's got a black and white car. >> 15. >> Oh, so that's the backyard of this house. >> We were going after that neighbor and that house. Yeah, we got called down here a couple times for him. If we put a hit or out >> All right. What's your guess? Red and Blues. Do they work? I think they do. And I think they're going to be red and blue. And look at the car. He's absolutely trying to be a cop. >> I told him ain't nobody around. What is that? Like a >> Have you seen >> It's not even a It's not even an old police car like you bought off an auction, which when people buy our old units, they're still black and white. This is like a Toyota Tursel or something. I don't even know what this is, but it ain't a cop car. >> This one This one ain't >> This one ain't moved in like a couple weeks. >> What is that? >> Like that. And you can tell. If it was that blow off and [ __ ] radios, everything. >> Uhhuh. >> I rebuilt the motor 7 years ago. It's an old Bloomington top. You see it right here. >> So, you taking pictures for evidence? What goes over? >> Flip that switch right there. But I don't know if >> I'm like I don't have no idea. I just >> do that. Do that switch right there with the lighter. Push push that lighter all the way in. >> What? Do it. >> Yep. They're red and blue [laughter] on the dash. >> Yeah. Oh, this turd running around pulling people over with his red and blue lights. >> I don't know, Leo. They shouldn't be. When was the last time you used this, Nikki? >> Oh, it's a Chevy Impala. Is that what it is? I guess maybe some agencies might have used an Impala. that >> I I haven't seen that car move in like two weeks. >> Okay. >> Now, they used to use the old Chevy Impalas back in maybe the late 90s, early 2000s. Those things would they would hum. Those cars are fast. >> I ain't lying to you. That's >> proof that he was using. >> I do my thing on my cars and [ __ ] I don't >> have You can't have the lights obviously, but >> No, but I mean it's on property. It's on the road. not pay attention to what I'm saying tire and everything else. >> I know, but yeah, we have to be able to prove that he was using this car with these lights and everything, which we can't. We can prove that he was standing back there every day in the bus. >> So, what they're saying is, and they're right, and this is what I like about these guys are talking this through. You can't prove that he was in the car using this. You can prove that he had a badge on him, a gun. That's what you can prove. He wasn't in the vicinity of the car when they took him down. The car is his. There is red and blues, but you can't really charge him for that. But you could certainly put in the report that it was there. >> So, I just leave it. And if not, we'll come back and get it. That's >> all right. Ultimately, the man was charged with armed violence, impersonation of a police officer, impersonation of a police officer while armed, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. >> Court records show he later plead guilty to one count of impersonating a police officer, while the remaining charges were dismissed. He was sentenced to 2 years of probation, 180 days in jail, and fines and fees. >> 180 days in jail, two years probation. uh and a bunch of fines and fees. They only ended up getting him for the one thing of what happened to the charges with the gun. Dropped all those charges. [sighs] Well, I mean, at least he did 180 days. We've seen worse. We've seen worse. What do you guys think? These guys did a great job. Obviously, the detectives, the street crimes guys were looking for him the day before. Come back. They catch him today. He's in possession of the gun, the the badge. Couldn't put tie him into the car, but in the end, I think you're going to make a strong case. They would have if this would have gone to court, this was a slam dunk. They had enough evidence. So, the guy ple takes a plea for impersonation of a police officer. 180 days in jail. Uh, I don't know. I It's okay. It's nothing. I mean, it's not too little. It's not too much. I'm glad they actually charged him and held him accountable to a certain extent, then two years probation. Um, my guess is he'll still probably do it again. I don't know. He didn't learn his lesson the last time he got in trouble for it. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next video.
