anything that you ask me to do. I'm not trying to go back home to prison. I'm not trying to do no I did 11 years, sir. >> I failed you. >> You failed me. >> I failed you, Mom. >> Hey folks, Sheriff Lamb here. We got another good video for you. This one's from Blue Line Body Cam. Let's check it out. >> This alleged drug dealer went from wrestling with cops to crying for his mama. >> Get the out of your pocket, man. >> I need my medicine. >> What's wrong? >> I fail you. Ohio State Patrol clocked him doing 48 in a 35 and pulled him over thinking this was just a routine stop. But this simple traffic stop will spiral into a full-blown fugitive case. >> Hey, how you doing tonight? >> How you doing tonight? >> How you doing? >> Good. Your license insurance registration. >> Uh did you see him turn with the with the blunt in his mouth and then quickly turn around and now he's trying to hide it? This bothers us, by the way, when you all of a sudden turn and you move like that. We don't know what you're reaching for. >> I'm about to get everything for you right now. >> Thank you. >> I just came home from prison. >> Okay. >> Not going to lie to you. >> I got you. >> I'm going to show you something. Hold on. >> Yeah. Go ahead. >> All right. In 2023, he got busted for aggravated menacing and aggravated uh burglary. That might be what he went to prison for. >> Okay. What's that monitor? >> Anchor monitor. I'm going to a female house. >> Okay. >> Up the street. I can show you the address. >> I got you. >> I'm not I'm not doing nothing stupid. >> Okay. We drinking tonight. >> No, I would. I took a sip. Okay. >> But I can show you. I can walk and all that. I'm not I don't do nothing. I'm joking. >> Are you supposed to be somewhere right now? >> No, I don't supposed to be nowhere, but I I I have a uh like I just got a report just let them know what house I'm going to. >> Okay, I got you. >> I can show you right now. >> No, that's fine. That's Listen, I don't work for them. >> I just want to show you. I don't want to be disrespectful to you at all. None of that. Cuz I I just came home from prison and I just want to be respectful just to let you know because I don't want to go to jail. I don't want to get no report, none of that. >> I didn't been through this before. >> And he is being very respectful and we do appreciate that. >> And I just know how to just be respectful and be honest. >> Good. How much did you have to drink tonight? >> I just had a little bit. No, not a lot. I just took a sip cuz I'm about to go see a female. >> Okay, that's fine. >> I just don't want to go through no drama. I just came home from prison. And if I do get it, if I go through something, you can take the whole car. >> Yeah. No, I'm just making it. There's nothing back. Go ahead. Step on out. Come on back to my car. All right. Do you mind if I pay you down for weapons? >> I don't have no weapon. >> Yeah. Do you mind if I pay you down? >> No, you don't have to. >> And if he's on probation, when you're on probation, you don't have the same rights that you would normally have. There are strict probation guidelines where you may not have the same search and seizure protections, all of that. Um, I'm guessing he probably had some pretty harsh stipulations as far as alcohol consumption, all that stuff, where he can be, where he's supposed to be able to drive to, what times you can move around. Um, and the cops are a lot more free to dig into this than you would normally be when you're on probation. >> Take stuff out of your pockets, man. >> I'm going to do it for you, sir. >> No, please don't. I'm just going to pat you down. I just want to make sure there's no like guns, knives, anything like that. What do you got right here in this this bulge right here? >> That's not nothing, though. >> No. Up in here. >> That's not nothing at all. >> That's nothing in there. Nothing at all. >> This >> That's not nothing. >> What's my hand touching right now? >> You probably touching something else. It's not nothing. >> It's in that pocket. >> It's not nothing. You can check me. You can script me search and all that. I'm being honest with you, man. >> You don't mind if I reach into that pocket and see what's in there? >> Could you please just trust me, please? >> Well, you just said I don't mind if you check it. >> I'm I'm just asking you to listen. >> People usually put dope in that pocket. And uh you know it's but the consequences are still there. >> You put any other charges on it like just arrest? >> Obstruct and resisting. He was supposed to return for court for pre-trial in May 2025, but facing more time in prison. He never showed. Hicks is now officially >> He's a fugitive from justice. Not only that, the US Marshalss in late July featured him as the fugitive of the week. And based on what I could find out, as of as of right now, I don't see any record of him being arrested yet. So, he still could be out there. So, if you know this guy, he's wanted. Um, but yeah, good job by these guys. Put him in. And uh, this guy got he's got to learn at some point. He's going to be this will be a longer time in jail at prison. He's going to go back to prison. It'll be a long time. He's probably got a probation or parole. Parole tell certainly if he's got the the ankle monitor. So, not looking good. I can understand why he hasn't shown up for any of his court. But what they will find him and when they do, he's going to spend a lot of time in prison. And his being a fugitive isn't going to help.
