She was also charged with resisting arrest for actively fighting authorities attempts to bring her to justice. with such a crazy situation. The comments that followed after the video was released are also noteworthy. She is high as a kite. She is definitely an addict. Geeking, tweaking, freaking she checked all three boxes. The lesson from this situation is that stealing and resisting the police only make matters worse. What a stubborn Karen, right? If you enjoyed this, subscribe to Law Frame for more content. Stay tuned because the next Karen reacts even more aggressively. >> No, I'm not going to jail. >> On March 3rd, 2025, following a complaint of a hit-and-run incident in which a lady struck her daughter's father's car, fled the scene. I was >> very good. Was it Was that the vehicle you were driving? That was the vehicle you were driving. >> I literally barely tapped him. It was a stop sign. My car stopped itself anyways. like it's a brand new car. >> Okay. I know you guys were in you was talking to me about you guys were in that custody dispute. >> When the woman was questioned further, they also learned that she had even threatened to crash her car into her child's father's vehicle. >> What's going on with the text messages? >> Which text messages? >> Text messages you sent to him. >> Yeah. Which ones? >> Which ones? Uh you want to show me which ones? >> I don't know. That's what I'm going to go with. >> There's No, there was just a bunch of them that >> there's a bunch of them that you mentioned that you were going to hit him at the next stop sign. >> Oh, yeah. I did say that. >> You did say that? >> It looks like it. >> Okay. All right. Okay. >> Okay. >> Especially since he's not paying any child support. >> Okay. But you guys are going through court. Is that for all of that? >> Yeah. >> Nice court dates. Uh, well, we just had a court date last week and they just signed on. I told them that I would sign this plan. If you're going to help me on the days that you don't have work because the way his work schedule is, like we're both like 1099 workers, so it's just weird, right? So, if you're not working, take your child so that I can go work, right? That's just like common sense. I feel >> you mentioned something about having me go to court tomorrow and then you're going to stop at the sheriff's office. >> Oh, yeah. I'm going to go file. Yeah. What do you do? >> I'm I'm not a scheduled I'm going Yeah. No court date. After the video was posted on the internet, people shared their thoughts in some comments. That's not PTSD. That's called acting like a toddler to get your way. Emotion capacity of a 5-year-old unlocked coughing, choking, and gagging on her own saliva like a hysterical little toddler. Absurd adult behavior. The lesson from this situation is that letting emotions take over can endanger others and lead to legal trouble. I'm scared for my livelihood. I'm scared for my I'm scared for my safety. >> I'm scared for my safety that she is going to hurt me because her woman just had to fight her back. >> Let's get out of the street. >> Her woman just had to pull her back >> from fighting me, >> baby. You're not going in the house. You're not going in the house. >> I do not have >> You all need to go in the house right now. >> No, you're not. >> Everybody go in the house. Are you comfortable? >> No, but like what happened? What did I do? Do I know why I'm under arrest? Like what happened? This Karen was formally charged with disorderly conduct for creating a disturbance and failing to act in a composed and polite manner when addressed, as well as theft for removing items without permission. This is indeed a chaotic situation, isn't it? Let's examine what viewers have commented on after the video was circulated. I'll give her this. She's a committed liar. They stick to the lie even though it's on camera. That's commitment. Like literally, you're going to jail, girl. It's like literally on video. Literally. The tears are a nice touch, but I don't think they care. The lesson from this situation is that even when clear evidence exists, stubbornly denying wrongdoing only makes matters worse. This Karen is already a mess. To follow more cases like this, please subscribe to Law Frame. So, what about the next one? Let's keep watching. >> She's clearly not grasping what we're saying. On September 4th, 2024, following a complaint of a custody dispute that intensified when the mother reportedly made a reckless effort to abduct the child, police were called to a parking lot >> in the face, punching me, grabbing my wheel, and her friend come over and unlocked my door and snatched my son out the seat. Then they took off. >> Who's the And what what vehicle did they take off? >> That's my ex, my kid with her. Okay, that's my new one right here. >> What vehicle did they took off in? >> Silver Toyota Tacoma. >> Okay. >> We live. Do you know where they live or where they might be heading to? >> I drove like 8 hours today figuring out where he's at. We've then I just left the courthouse. >> No, I'm the father child. Okay. >> And so she has him now. >> She had her friend come inside the vehicle and snatch him. >> So there she was beating. >> We have a video of it. She hit me in my damn mouth, my face. My truck was in reverse. I was pulling out. She slapped my door open. She thought that, you know, I've been trying to serve. I could show you all the menu that I've got here. I want to see if we can catch them. >> Basically, what it is, >> where would they go to >> All I have is >> We have so many addresses of houses we've stopped at today, >> but I can't really see like the tag. Whose car is that? Is that hers or has black hair? >> Lean Marie West. That's her name. >> That's the friend's name, but I think it might be her truck. >> Yeah, she has a truck. >> Yeah, >> but I can't see the tag number. I thought it's too blurry. Show them the video. >> You mind putting up a little No, you don't. Exactly. We took them out of our county. Get out of my truck now. >> Get out of my truck, Jessica. Get it on video. >> Get out of my truck, Jessica. Get out of my truck. I'm in here. According to the video provided by the father, the mother and her friend acted violently and took their child away. >> Get out of my truck. >> Please, please. >> Get out of my truck. >> Get out of my truck. Get out. Get out. She's hitting me. Get up in here. >> I'm not hitting you. >> Get out of my house. >> You're scaring him. [Music] Yes. >> Supposed to be a sample flaw. You want to look them up. I need to find >> statements. Is there anything else on the truck that looks like it's identifiable? Any stickers or anything you saw on it? I didn't see it on on it when it was leaving. I mean, it looks like a newer. It's got that front black bumper in the front. So you guys were just doing a child exchange for the weekend. >> Yeah. Well, no, it wasn't for the weekend. All right. Long story short, but I've been at the courthouse. I just left the courthouse this morning. Work from Lake City for which is about 5 hours. >> The whole um just cuz she left county, left Gainesville with Junior. She has no vehicle. She has no home, no job, no way to support them. You know, they're living in a on a couch in the living my county in the courthouse. We've been trying to serve her for the last, you know, 3 weeks. She's dumping dodging. you know, um she was in Fort Myers, CSO, they've been trying to serve her. She keeps coming back in service with her. So, they said, "Well, meet up with her once you have possession of fatalities, cuz we legally have 50/50 custody. We just got out of court a couple of weeks ago for, you know, trying to get a restraining order." >> Police quickly arrived and arrested the woman's friend first. Have a seat in the car. >> So, it nothing's done yet. We're going to get >> We will in a second, >> but you're detained for right now. She's not getting arrested. She's detained. It's a difference. >> You got anything on you? >> I'm going to go over there and grab the same. If you want to put them in there with them, put her in your car. >> The baby's okay. That's the first thing I made sure no scratches. No, they're not hurt or anything. >> So, we got them there. >> We've been going of course. She's been ducking and dodging LCSO private servers and everybody like nobody can find her. She literally jumped town from Gainesville where she lived at with her mom and she's doing whatever she can to get away and not be found. So that's that's also concerning to us too because >> from what the way this acting now that that looks to me like somebody that's going to disappear from the face of the >> That's what's I left our courthouse this morning. I've talked to all our deputy supervisors, uh, deputy clerks and everything. We're all working on this together to get Jessica to court. She's like hiding this. >> So, and I've already told her we're going to try to, you know, proceed in court, but then we all came up with this other plan. talk to her, be nice to her, see if you can, you know, manipulate her to come to you. Once she gives you Junior, now he's in your possession. And we both both legally have 50/50 custody cuz we have no child custody agreement. >> And um so that's what we did. She got out, she handed me Junior. I said, "I love you. He loves daddy." And then I brought him over to the truck in the truck. As soon as her friend seen Julia, that's when all this crazy. >> So let me go ahead and get the statement rolling now. I'm going to sound like a robot, but >> No, that's okay. Do you swear to affirm the statement you're about to give is the whole truth and nothing but the truth? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. What happened today? >> So, she was dropping Junior off to you. >> To me, right? >> Okay. >> I jump in the truck. Well, as soon as the back door opened, her friend seen that Julia was in there and as soon as they seen Julia here, it was a no-go. They were like, "No, this ain't happening." So, uh, I jump in my truck and then Jessica's running at me. We've got it on video and all that. And that's when she jumped in my truck and, you know, started hitting me. They then took the woman into custody, but she kept arguing even though the evidence was already undeniable. >> All right, there's a statute in Florida. I don't want to charge anybody with kidnapping. All right, kidnapping is shows a different type of intent. You and your friend are both going to get charged with what's called interference with child custody. All right, >> since you guys don't have any parenting agreement in place, you each have equal right to the child. And at the moment when this all kind of popped off, he had custody of your child in his truck. So you're going to go to jail for interference with child custody. And she she'll do the same. Okay. >> So what else do you? >> Well, he'll take him for nothing. >> So dad call you to jail for assaulting me? >> You actually punched him in the side of the store. >> You entered his truck. You had no reason to enter his truck. >> He was kidnapping my truck. >> No, he was not >> kidnapped. He's a biological child. >> He doesn't have custody. >> It doesn't You don't have a parenting understanding. He has equal rights to the child as you do. That's what this is all the technical side of the law. >> Chase to have my kids. That's that's what concerns me. >> Then why would you bring him here to >> He doesn't know how to take care of him by himself is my my thing. I'm not saying he's going to, you know, or anything crazy like that, but he he does not that he's got two girls that live in Lee County and the mother will not let him see them because he does not take care of them. >> There is nothing legally I that can I can prevent him from taking the child in this. He's the biological father and father father and there is no court order saying that he cannot have custody. I just don't understand like how he can come and literally try to kidnap my child and that's I'm in I'm in handcuffs. >> Like I said, this is a very >> He hasn't seen him in months. Do you know how terrifying my son's going to be when you give him to him? >> When you guys have that kind of stuff, you got to go to court and get it. >> So, how do I get my kid back? I do what he did. >> I can't. No, you get you get the paperwork that you do that he didn't do. I haven't been dodging. They just came to my mom's a week ago. I haven't stop interrupting me. How am I going to answer your question? Sorry. I'm upset you guys are taking me away from my son right now. >> One, you got to go to court. This is this whole thing is a civil issue. But it got escalated to the point where you enter his truck and try to climb over him as he's in new as he's reversing and then you >> kidnapping my child. >> Kidnap your child. >> He's in custody of his own child. He can't he can't kidnap his own child when you alerts for kids that are with their own parents that have been kidnapped. >> And you know what the stipulation is? They have no custody of the kid. He does not have legal written custody. Where can you show his biological father? What do you mean? Neither do you. There is nothing that shows that you can't have that he can't have his kid and you can't have the kid. You know why? Cuz there's nothing in regards to a custody thing. So what does that default to? 50/50 custody between the mother and the father. So that's where we're at here. You let the kid go in. You gave the kid to him and he was in the backseat of his truck. You instructed Stop talking. You instructed your friend, "Open and get my kid >> that was being kidnapped." Yes. >> Was not being kidnapped. >> My son was being kidnapped. >> She unlocked the door. Who was that? >> I don't know. She was holding my son down. Do you know how terrifying that is? >> That was not on the video. >> She was videoing it. She was the one holding the camera. What do you mean? Who took the video if she wasn't popped out in the back seat? >> She wasn't holding the camera. >> You couldn't see my kid, could you? >> I can. >> Where's the video? Can I see it? >> You'll see it in court. >> I can't see it here. You clearly don't understand, which makes me think you don't understand. What happened to my kid? Can I just know what's going to happen? >> It's going to go with the kid and then you're going to handle it with the child's seat to him. >> What kind of question is that? He's not a safe person for my child. >> Can I give him the child's seat that is in that vehicle to him? >> And if I say no, then what? >> Then I can't take it. >> Then he takes my son in the car seat. >> We'll have to figure out something else >> and that'll be on you. >> I'll have to figure something else out. I don't know what that's going to be. >> I'm asking questions. I'm not trying to be friend. >> No, you're clearly not understanding anything. >> I'm not I don't I don't know how >> These Karens were ultimately charged with violence and interference with the custody of a minor, which reflected both their aggressive behavior during the event and their illegal effort to remove the youngster. Everyone has their opinion, and the viewers who commented below this video are no exception. That woman is insane and her friend, too. First thing that little boy did was ask for his daddy. She hates her ex more than she loves her child. It's not that she didn't understand. It's that she didn't accept it. The lesson from this situation is that attempting to resolve a custody dispute through violence not only makes matters worse, but also leaves those involved facing criminal charges.
