You know you wronged. You wrong. You saw me. This Karen was formally charged with resisting arrest after she continuously disobeyed the officer's valid orders, making it harder for them to take her into custody and needlessly extending the situation. After the video was posted on the internet, people shared their thoughts in some comments. She can't talk, but she can yell like a banshee. Her behavior is extremely performative and worthy of high amounts of cringe. She has a lot of strength for just having a stroke. This incident teaches us that displaying emotional outbursts and refusing to assist law enforcement only exacerbates the problem. And for more articles, subscribe to Law Frame if you like this. >> That's all I said, please. >> On December 31st, 2024, when police received a complaint about a lady breaking into her ex-boyfriend's house, they responded, >> "Hey, I'm offic Police. I got about a cam on." Okay. What's going on today? >> Dude, please. >> We got to talk. We got to talk. >> Get him. I don't want to hear it. Sean, like >> Well, hey, it's just us. It's just us talking. Okay. What's What's going on today? >> You guys getting >> Well, how do we get now? >> Okay, that's fine. How did we get to this point though? >> Um, he cheated on me. >> Okay. >> Okay. And then you you brought it up to him, I would assume. >> Sir, can you please take her out of my room? >> You're fine. >> I'm not leaving. >> Okay. No one ever said you're leaving right now. Okay. >> I'm not leaving without the truth. >> Okay. I I'm not >> calling you guys was dumb. He does this all the time. >> Why was that dumb? >> Because when he doesn't want to tell the truth, he calls the cops. We'll get the rap sheet. >> Okay. >> When the woman said the reason was infidelity, officers asked further about the altercation and damage, but she refused to answer. >> When you guys were arguing, were there any threats made to each other? [Music] It's probably going to help you out a lot >> to talk, okay, to talk about what happened. >> You can't necessarily see mental and emotional abuse. Okay. >> Okay. I'll agree with that. Yeah, absolutely. >> But all I'm going to say is if if he says one thing and then you're not willing to say anything at all, >> I want to know the truth >> about about the cheating situation. When did this happen? The whole cheating situation, >> please. >> You don't want to talk to me at all. >> All I can do is just hear him lying. >> Would it be easier if we pull the door and step inside and talk to you? >> I just don't I don't want him to. >> No, he just You know what? To be honest with you, that's the most you ever anything to say about me. >> Can you can you tell me about what happened though with the argument? >> Are there any threats made against each other? >> Listen, >> no, I'm not afraid of him or anything like that. He's not He's always telling me to shut the up and everything like that. >> I got you. Did Did he Did he threaten you? Did you make any threats to him that you're going to harm him? >> Did either of you two put your hands on each other or any pushing, fighting, hitting? >> No. >> Okay. Was there anything broken during the argument? >> God, what the tablet that he's cheating at me with? >> It's not broken. >> What happened to the tablet? >> Nothing. I I literally went to grab it and he got so mad. You know, when Someone's literally knows that I'm not getting into this. You guys are police officers. Not literally [ __ ] coming in here to fix a [ __ ] problem. This isn't really a [ __ ] problem. And that's why I'm like, he's so stupid. He's going to call the cops. >> That's cuz he's afraid. >> Okay. I just want to I just want to clarify. You said there was no >> afraid of the truth. >> You didn't make any threats to him. He didn't make any threats to you. No, I told him I'm hurt, dude. Can I not be hurt? >> Okay, I get that. No, I get that. When uh when we get dispatched to something like this, there's certain questions we have to ask. Okay. >> So, that that's what I'm running through right now to see if if anything criminal actually happened here. Okay. So, we have to get through our own things. >> No, >> if you'd walk me through beginning to the end, I'd really appreciate it. the argument that happened >> just to fill me in on what's going on. >> All I have asked is to tell me the truth. >> Okay. And >> that's all that's all I want. [Music] >> He will try to make me look every kind of way >> and that's why we're over here. >> It's all right. I'm not worried about that. I just hope that you take that in consideration >> that I'm not here to start trouble. >> I'm here to have the truth >> of a loser. >> I know you you told him this. I can hear you was the one of your guys talking. >> What is he even I just don't understand why he why it's an issue where he has to feel like you guys are his counselors. He's called here. >> Miss, >> what? >> Do you live here? >> I just moved out. >> Okay. soon. >> My address is here. I would love answers. >> Okay. Well, we're going to talk to him and we'll come back. >> When police went to question her boyfriend, she interfered. >> You cheated on me. I have a right to be mad. >> I never cheated on. >> I [ __ ] I never all the time. Every time I ask you about it, he won't answer me. >> He will. Oh, >> what's up? >> So, basically he told her not to come over. She doesn't live there. She booted the back door and broke the trim, forced her way in, and damaged the tablet that he had and has been throwing stuff around since >> Get out of my room. There's something that I want. >> Another officer arrived and they questioned her again, but she still refused to cooperate. >> Chelsea, >> what the truth? >> Why are you in here today? I'm not leaving without the truth. I'm not doing it. >> Do you live here? >> You don't stay here. Okay. >> I I've already said I want I want the truth. If he can have a >> I am trying to have a conversation with this man. >> Okay. >> It is not I'm upset because he literally would push me till I react and wants that. Do you understand why people do that? >> Did he communicate to you that he didn't want you here today? Um, does it matter if he wants me here or not? I mean, I want the truth. Is he giving me that? >> Do you live here? Do you stay here? >> My address is here. >> Ask him if I have mail. That'd be great. Instead of withholding it from me. >> Do you He says you've never lived here. Is that correct? >> I've never lived here. >> Okay. >> Are you saying you do live here? >> I don't live here. I don't live here now. My address is here. I used to live here. I moved out. >> Okay. So, why would you force the back door open and make yourself >> He already kicked the door open. So, don't all the damage. He already did that. Don't let him lie to you. >> It looks pretty recent. >> Why would you kick his door? >> He's already dam the trim came off, but he's already kicked the door open. >> Okay. >> So, again, why did you force the door open and come in here? I told you I want the truth. >> Did you break his tablet? >> Did you break his tablet as well, Chelsea? >> I didn't break his tablet. No, it's not broken. Do you honestly know what he does on it? God, >> I can't believe >> I'm sorry. I'm so mad. >> At that point, police were forced to place her under arrest. >> All right, Chelsea, can you go ahead and hop up for me? I'm going to place you under arrest. Okay. >> No. No. Don't. No. Please don't. No. No. Please don't put me under arrest. Please don't. I only All I said was I'm just so upset and hurt. That's all I said. Please. God. I wanted to [ __ ] it. >> I don't want to. >> Please, please, please don't arrest me. I never [ __ ] it. Please, please, please, please, please, please do not, please do not. >> Go and stand up. >> No. No. Please. Oh my god. Please do not take me out of here like this. Please. No. Please don't take me out of here like this. Please. I always do this. I'm sad. I'm I hurt. I'm mad. Why is that a crime? I hurt. >> Can I do something? Please don't. >> Let's walk out. >> Let's walk out. >> I can't walk outside like you can. >> No. Please. No. >> If you can, you will walk out. >> Please do not. Please. >> We're going to walk out. >> My kids. >> Let's go downstairs. [Music] >> Please. Please. Please. >> No. We're not doing this. Okay. >> Not a good idea. deck of charges. Don't do it. >> It's literally going to be 20 minutes and you're going to be back. >> Please take this down here. >> Car right on the floor. >> Please don't hit. This Karen faced several charges, including resisting arrests for hindering officers during the arrest, criminal damage to property, for causing injury to property, and criminal trespassing, for being on property without authorization. With such a crazy situation, the comments that followed after the video was released are also noteworthy. He don't want you. Have some damn pride and move along. Stop coddling her and get her TF out of his house. She is clearly nuts. But the speaker strapped to the headboard sure is throwing me off. This case shows that refusing to cooperate with police and interfering with their investigation only worsens the situation. What a stubborn Karen, right? On August 13th, 2024, during a custody hearing, a lady disrupted the entire courtroom by using a phone to strike her sister's baby daddy in the face. >> From what? He started having swing [ __ ] the stair or whatever. Then, he got in my face when he got towards the end of the stairs. I mushed him and he hit me >> like he literally turned around. She was holding the door for them and he was like, "What your fat?" Who was all that for? >> All right. We chilling. >> Yeah. I need to go. I don't want to be in this corner though. >> I get it. But >> they got to do what they got to do now. >> I didn't do nothing. >> I didn't say that. >> I I never said you didn't. I was trying to put you guys up. You have to know if there's like any restraining order active or anything. >> No, there's not no restraining order active. >> Yeah, you can do so. Uh right after right after everything's situated, you guys can do that. Um you know, where is it? All right. family intake second floor. You guys can go and take care of that. Are you getting released? >> No. >> The do my kids up. >> You talking about some resistant police officer? >> Yep. >> I got everybody talking about all this. >> This Karen was legally charged with many severe felonies, including obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault. All of which stemmed from her belligerent and uncooperative actions during the encounter. This is indeed a chaotic situation, isn't it? Let's examine what viewers have commented on after the video was circulated. For someone who said she didn't care if she got arrested, she sure is putting up a fight when she's getting arrested. Lol. I just don't understand the number of people who have zero control over their emotions and actions. You can't fist fight here, ma'am. This is a courthouse, not Chuck E. Cheese. The lesson from this incident is that any disruptive or violent behavior in places requiring seriousness, such as a courtroom, will be dealt with immediately and strictly. This Karen is already a mess. To follow more cases like this, please subscribe to Law Frame. What about the next one? Let's keep watching. >> Oh my god. >> Quinn. >> Oh my god. >> Quinn. On July 24th, 2024, police were notified about a woman who refused to leave the hospital after being asked, "How's it going?" >> Good. >> Good. Okay. You're reading your medical chart. >> I'm not doing good. >> Huh? >> Said I'm not doing good. >> You're not doing good. >> No. >> Well, the medical professional said that you are. >> Okay. And you were asked to leave several times. Okay. So, you have to leave. That's why we were called. So, I'm asking you nicely to please get up and exit the building. >> Alicia, I'm asking you a yes or no question. Will you comply? >> I don't know. >> Why don't you know? >> They ask you to leave, Alicia. What What are your concerns? >> Well, look, I have a heart attack. I know it may not be my heart. Might be something else. And I'm really dizzy. >> You're driving over here. >> Did you Did you tell them all this information? >> Yes. did lab work and said, "Your lungs look clear. I've been coughing up blood." >> Okay. >> Maybe it's something else. I don't know. I'm not the doctor. >> Exactly. Because you're not a doctor, you cannot diagnose yourself. >> So that's why we're beyond that, Alicia. We're beyond that now. >> I'm asking you to please leave. >> Okay. Thank you. >> You need to leave with us right now. We have to see you. When a nurse tried to reason with her, the woman still wouldn't listen. >> So, what's going to be, Alicia? >> Hey, Alicia. I just wanted to check in cuz we're in a bit of a situation here. >> Yeah, in real life. >> No, I think I it's I think you work in healthcare. I'm just guessing based on your clothes. >> So, why is it that you don't want to leave? >> Cuz they feel like there's something else they would be doing. And what are you interested in having done? >> I'm not a medical professional. >> I'm not a nurse. Yeah, >> I don't know. >> But you're feeling What are you feeling? Like what are you hoping could be alleviated by more treatment here? >> I don't know. I'm just afraid. I don't know. >> Do you think we could move to the waiting room? >> No. >> Okay. Officers were then forced to issue a final warning stating she would be arrested if she didn't comply. >> All right. Hey, Alicia. My name is Patrick with the port police department. So, uh, I know that the nurses talked to you, the ER tech. Christopher is trying to work with you here to figure out what what your needs are, but we were called here because you've been asked to leave for 45 minutes and refused. You're now refusing to even move out to the waiting room. So, it's 6:45. We're going to come back at 6:50. If you're not outside the building, you're going to be arrested and go to jail. So, I'll let you and Christopher talk for 5 minutes and decide what you want to do. >> Trespassing. >> However, instead of leaving, the woman went into another room. >> It's good to go, right? Nothing medical that you can do. >> Uh, is her life in danger at all? >> Medically cleared for discharge. >> Medically cleared for discharge. Okay. You know what that means, Alicia? Right. So, right now, remember what Officer Fidali did last time I was here? >> Yeah. Yell at me and was very >> He did not yell at you. Nope. Nobody yelled at you. >> Yes, he did. >> No, he gave you 5 minutes to leave. Okay. And you complied. I'm going to give you 5 minutes. >> I don't want to leave. >> So, even if the 5 minutes, >> Alicia, even if the 5 minutes end, you're not going to leave. That's why you're going to tell me. So, you're going to go to jail instead of walking free out of here. >> I looked up the laws and you can't arrest somebody. >> I can. Yes. >> For being here? >> Yes. If they refuse to leave after being medically cleared and being asked by an authorized person to leave the premises, I have the authority to actually not only trespass you, but if you refuse to put you in handcuffs and take you to jail. So, do you want that to happen? >> Well, obviously nobody does. >> I don't either. So, you're not working with me. We're we allowed you enough time to leave on your own the first time and you did which I appreciate but now you're not being reasonable. So I'm giving you the options. Leave voluntarily or go to jail. >> Well, I'm not going to jail. >> Okay. So, you're going to leave voluntarily? >> We'll see. >> Nope. You It's either It's a yes or no question. >> I don't have a yes or no answer. >> All right. You got 4 minutes left. 4 minutes left. You've got a minute left. >> Okay. I'm waiting for him to answer me. >> Waiting for whom? >> My husband >> to do what? >> You can call him from outside the building. So, you have 1 minute. >> Yeah. >> I asked him if he could come bail me out. >> Bail you from jail? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> You're still acting the same way you did before. >> I don't know what you mean. No. >> Time's up. >> Of course it is. >> What's your decision? >> What is my decision? I don't know. >> This prompted the police to proceed with placing her under arrest. >> Stand up for me, please, Alicia. >> No. >> I gave you enough time under arrest. >> You don't have to arrest, Alicia. Stand up for me. >> I'm waiting for answer. >> Stand up. >> Stop. >> Stand up. Alicia, we don't have to go that route. >> Stand up. Please >> quit. >> Stand up. Stand under arrest. You're under arrest. >> You understand you're under arrest at this time? >> No. >> You don't understand that you're under arrest. >> You're hurting yourself here. Okay. >> Just stop. >> Do not resist. Okay. >> Don't. >> We're being gentle with you. Stand up on your feet. >> No, you're not. >> Now, ma'am. No. >> So, Alicia, here's the deal. >> Stand up. >> Here's the deal. You're under arrest. If you provide any resistance, you're going to get additional charges besides trespassing, and we will use force to affect this arrest.
