Okay. >> I'm on 19th and Ainsworth in front of Hillside Gardens. He is searching my car illegally. Jay, stop searching my car. Are you done illegally searching my car? >> I didn't search your car. >> searched my car. >> All right, everybody, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Midwest Safety and it is woman calls activist to simple traffic stop. I haven't seen it. Let's go. Hey there. Hey there, officer. That's the filming of the people. The reason for the stop is that you have a headlight out. >> Yeah, they're not out. They're just low beams in this place. >> No. >> So, >> Uh so, that one is on and that one is off. So, do you have a driver's license, registration, insurance on you? >> Is that what you need? Why are you pulling me over for? Why are you pulling me over for? I will not show you that. I'm not showing >> I already told you why I was pulling you over. I already pulled you over. I already told you. It's your lights. Okay, do you have a driver's license, registration, insurance on you? I already told you. I'm not searching your car. I'm just looking. Okay. Okay, you don't you don't get to >> I say no. This is a mutual relationship. Stop looking at my car. >> No. Says it's a mutual relationship stop. Okay, when you're driving in a car and the police pull you over, it's not a mutual relationship stop. You have an infraction. And right now, it's a civil infraction. Your behavior and your inability to follow instructions could take it to a criminal infraction stop. But, he has probable cause based on the laws that have been written by the people that we elected that said, "You have to have two headlights." She has a headlight out. She doesn't She These are the people that think they know everything. There's not You are being pulled over by the police. Okay. She reminds me of Beetlejuice, the look of it from Beetlejuice from Howard Stern's show, if you know. >> [laughter] >> If you know, you know. I'll take your driver's license. I'll take your driver's license. >> Take your hand off the camera now. I don't care. Call back up. Are you done looking in my car? Are you done looking in my car? Yes or no? >> Okay. >> Are you done looking in my car? >> I'll take your Okay, let me explain to you this piece of it cuz she's she's wrong. He's not searching her car. It's called plain view. What he can see in plain view, and the reason we do this, this is an officer safety issue. She doesn't get to dictate like turn your flashlight off, don't look in my car. We're looking to see if there's any other passengers in there, if there's any maybe any evidence of a crime that could be being committed. That is our job. And so, when he's shining light in there, is there other people? Is there weapons? Is there drugs in the car? All of these things matter. He didn't do anything wrong. That is what is expected of him. >> Are you done looking in my car? I will not show you my driver's license until you're done. He's illegally looking in my car. >> Okay, how much have you had to drink today? >> done looking in my car? None. Are you done looking in my car? >> Okay. >> Are you done looking in my car? Yes or no? Are you done looking in my car? Yes or no? Then you are not going to get my license. Then call whoever you need to. >> Okay. Okay. Bust that window. >> Sir, are you done LOOKING IN MY CAR? ARE YOU DONE LOOKING IN MY CAR? YES, STOP. >> SHE comes out the car now. >> No, are you done looking in my car? Yes, stop. >> You will not show me your driver's license or you will be under arrest. Do you understand? >> NO, I WILL NOT BE CUZ YOU DID NOT tell me what you're you're illegally ILLEGALLY LOOKING IN MY CAR. NO. YOU PUT YOUR HAND IN MY CAR AND YOU are doing it illegally. YOU ARE DOING AN ILLEGAL search in my car. >> Okay. >> You want my license OR NOT? LICENSE OR NOT? >> OKAY. >> You put your hand in my car and you are illegally searching my car. >> You will be under arrest if you do not give me your driver's license. You have about 10 seconds to do so. >> GOT YOU GOT 5 SECONDS TO TELL ME YOU'RE DONE ILLEGALLY SEARCHING MY CAR. >> OKAY. >> ARE you >> No more time. Walk around. Drag her out the car. >> my car illegally. Why are you recording now? Stop recording now. >> Okay. Search >> Stop recording now. Shut up. >> Sure seems like you've been using something. >> my car illegally. >> Okay. >> I'm on 19th and Adams where the front of Hilltop is. >> See, this is part of the reason why I don't like phone calls on traffic stops because you can call people to come and help. You can call come people to come and be obstructionists to what you're doing there as an investigation. This is also why I act quickly. We ask, make We ask, tell, make. That's what we do. Not over and over again. I mean, this guy obviously, he's trying to be cool and he's willing to take the situation to another level. Probably waiting for a second officer or deputy to show up. Um this woman is a piece of work. >> Officer, he is searching my car illegally. >> Okay. Can I see your driver's license, registration, and insurance? >> Are you done illegally searching my car? >> I didn't search your car. I'm >> done searching MY CAR? YOU WILL NOT SEE MY DRIVER'S LICENSE unless you're done searching my car. >> These people are nuts. >> Do you want to tell me or not? Sir, I am a citizen. DO YOU WANT TO SEE MY LICENSE OR NOT? You will not see it if you continue to search my car. DO YOU WANT TO SEE MY LICENSE? >> SHE'S not in charge here. >> YES OR NO? >> OKAY, give me your driver's license or you will BE UNDER ARREST. >> DON'T DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL. You're looking He's looking at my car illegally. He will not see my license. LORD, GET HERE NOW. 919 George J. Stahlecker is illegally searching my car. He will not see my license cuz he is continuing to illegally search my car. There is nothing in my car but trash. >> Listen, give me your driver's license, registration, and insurance or you will be under arrest. >> I have the reserve >> You've already told her. >> Exercise that right and give me your driver's license. >> No. Cuz you're illegally searching my car, so no. You are breaking the law, ma'am. So, I will not show you >> She's under arrest. >> There you go. There's the other two units. >> Okay. You are under arrest. Get out of the car. You are under arrest. I will break your window. I will break your window. Get out of your car. >> Do it. >> I will break your window if you don't get out of the car. >> Do it. She's already given her No more time. >> I will break your window to get you out of the car. Hey, do you understand that I will break your window? Okay. >> Beautiful. It goes to show you, man, windows are not easy to break. They got Windows 10 on them. Drag her rear end out that car. Got put your hands Snatch her right out of there. Or she kicked him. Jeez. Oh. Arrest Lori, too. If this Lori gets out and gets in your business in any way, shape, or form, she goes straight into these right here, handcuffs. Lori, keep on moving. This has nothing to do with you. You even stop and get engaged in this investigation at all, you are going to jail. She didn't Okay, she's failing to to listen to a lawful command. Is she crying now? I think she's crying now. Lori gets arrested. Oh, guys, come on, folks. If you're a cop out there, please, if somebody walks up on scene like this and you've given them which by the way he gave at least what I could hear at least three lawful commands to not approach the scene. You are obstructing with the police investigation. You failed to to to comply with a lawful police command. She goes straight into handcuffs. The situation is not going to get better. She is not allowed to walk up on this scene. That is an adult in the other in the car that has been arrested. She has no business being in there. Um and she is not just observing. She failed to listen to the command. She goes in handcuffs. If you are a police officer out there, don't allow this because then what this is what people do on a traffic stop. Both of them. Lori and her friend. Can't even hardly see. What is it that you need to do that you can't do with me standing right here? It's called obstruction. I'm not No, it's not. I asked an honest question with my hands up. >> And what right do you have to know that? >> I'm a citizen of the country. >> Then you don't have to She's a private citizen. >> Look, she's 100% in the wrong. I want to make sure this person I know. >> She'll be safe. She's going to go to jail. Right? >> For what though? >> I don't have rights You DON'T HAVE RIGHTS. >> I'M ASSAULTING A police officer. >> Yeah, you were so don't act like you >> So I'm not free. You'd expect that. I was >> Leave me alone. >> Free to ask you a basic question about someone else. >> About somebody somebody else's privacy? Are you a member of the media? >> They called us. >> Are you her attorney? >> She called us on the phone. >> It doesn't matter. I don't know that. >> Don't open. >> I don't know that. >> So, I'm done now. >> Okay. Do we still want space from the car? Okay. Um yeah. Okay. Okay. We're going to need you guys to go to the sidewalk now. Okay? So, you guys can go step right over there. Go ahead and go to the sidewalk. Nope, ma'am. Go to the sidewalk. >> I have something more important to do than >> Ma'am, ma'am, stop. Go to the sidewalk, okay? If you guys start coming into our investigation again, you're going to be under arrest for obstruction or something, okay? You're going to be detained and put >> Not obstruction or something, obstruction and failure to comply with a lawful police command or order, whatever their code may read. >> That we made up. >> Yeah, detained and put in the back of the vehicle, okay? All righty. Thank you. >> Now, causing us to now All we are asking is to be observers. >> And I'd get that gal out of there. I'd just take her straight to jail. >> She goes across the car. She kicks me. >> Straight to jail. >> Whose is this? >> Oh, that's mine. >> How did [laughter] I get out there? Did Did you take her stuff off her? >> No. >> She's under arrest, so we can just take all her stuff. I need her ID. I don't know how old she is. Hey, how old is she? >> I wouldn't ask them. Don't engage with them. Don't make Don't give them the ability to engage in this and make them part of this investigation. I wouldn't ask. She's certainly an adult, so >> They are not she. >> Okay. How old is this person? >> I'm going to say >> Oh, please. They are not she. This is the insane world I don't want to say that we live in, cuz we live in a sane world. We have have people in this sane world who engage in this insanity of saying they, not she. Are you serious? This is you sound Please, if I know they think they're smart and this makes them sound so self-righteous and all that junk, better than everybody else. It makes you sound crazy when you say stuff like that. It makes you sound like you're dealing with a schizophrenic. >> 26? Somewhere in there. >> Okay. And you're just a friend? >> Yeah, this is a person in my community who I'm a friend of. >> Okay. >> They called me concerned that they were getting pulled over. And now that we've got a tenth police car >> So, a supervisor has to >> for this. >> A supervisor has to show up. >> This is like It's like you've got like some sort of terroristic operation going on for a potential DUI. >> I told you to move your car. It's parked in front of a fire hydrant, close to the intersection, too far from the curb. >> Tow it. >> That's fine. I'm just saying >> Okay. >> This is like really >> We don't care what you have to say. Get on. Move along. >> Don't have to answer any questions. >> I don't really feel comfortable doing this. >> Okay, that's fine. Make sure you >> We're totally comfortable because the law says that that you have to comply with it. >> up subjects on a possible DUI. She's refusing to get out of the car. So, supervisor is under arrest, breaks the window. She won't get out. >> Pull her out. As soon as As soon as he pulls her out, she ends up kind of trying to spin away, get her down, get her under control. >> And then [snorts] these people show up and start jumping into our business as well. >> Oh, there's so many of you and there's so many of her and we need this and we need that. So, that's the basic gist of it. >> No real force used, just pull her out. >> Just yank her out onto the ground. I broke her window. She's under arrest for assault three. >> Resisting arrest. >> Who's the other one? >> Me. She She went across the car, she kicked my body camera fell off. It was on the ground over there. It was on. Don't worry. It was wasn't on me. It was on the ground over there. So, resisting, obstruction, failed to stop. >> Sad that the cops have to feel like they are going to get in trouble because their stupid body camera fell on the ground and might be off. I mean, we didn't even have body cameras until 10 years ago, you know, and whatever. And we did just fine. You know? And now the body cams, you know what it actually shows? It actually shows that people behave like this on traffic stops. Cuz I guarantee you, if you didn't a body camera and you went to court, her her song and dance would be completely different than the truth. >> I have an ID, DUI, and assault three. >> Okay. >> Get away from me. >> Hi, I'm Sergeant Stangler with the common police. I'm just here to talk to you about what happened. I'm not here to investigate anything. So, what's going on? >> He pulled me over. He said it's because of my headlights. And then he said it was a DUI, but he didn't want to test me. >> Uh-huh. >> I told >> Do you have You're required to provide ID when you get stopped by the police officer. How was he searching your car? >> He was putting the flashlight in my back window. So, he's searching my car. He didn't answer. >> Was he just looking in your car from the outside on >> I answered the question about the stop and he kept doing that. >> But he's allowed to do that. >> And what law? >> It's a traffic stop. >> It doesn't matter. You're not allowed to search my >> It's not a search. He's in He's in >> No, he was searching my vehicle with his light multiple times. >> Do you still have your ID on you? >> No, it's in my bag in my purse in my wallet. >> Okay. Okay. >> I was just looking for it and then he broke my >> Look at how she behaves, the difference of how she's behaving now to the supervisor versus how she was behaving on the traffic stop. And you can't tell me that she's not now trying to downplay it and make it sound like she was just totally cool and going along with the traffic stop and this guy was totally out of line. And we, unfortunately, Beetlejuice, we saw the the the actual truth. >> Thank you. All right, so they're going to get you out outside and just pat you down. >> I don't have any weapons. Don't touch me, please. Are you a wrestler? >> Nope. >> Oh, I could take you. What are you? 135? >> Yep. >> You might be a little racist. So, it's not that >> Whatever you want to call it. >> No, that's what it is. It's a lot of annoying. People are only racist cuz they don't know. What do you think you know about black people that you can be racist to them for? White people are hood and we steal. >> Don't even. >> Everybody feels No, I'm asking cuz you're saying nothing. >> Well, I'm trying to talk to you and see you're doing some pretty unprofessional >> need to I don't need to be unprofessional. I don't need to be professional. You're locking me up. I'm >> Okay. >> a citizen. Why do I need to be professional for? This is not a job interview. >> You're in in custody now. >> Oh, and what? What about it? I could stop having a conversation with you. That's fine. >> That's fine. Okay. >> Okay, great. >> I would prefer honestly. >> Oh, great. >> See, this is what we have to deal with. >> You probably are, right? Yeah, I know. Clocked you. >> I found it true. >> They didn't catch nothing. >> What was that? >> 135. I appreciate you weighing more than what you are. >> Yeah, weigh 185. Are you okay, ma'am? Ma'am? >> I don't use ma'am. I use they/he pronouns. My name is True. >> What's your sign if you don't mind me asking? >> What's that? >> What's your sign? >> Sign? >> Zodiac? >> Um Aries. >> You're Aquarius? >> Aries. >> Oh, I knew you're Aries. Can you send me to TG? I don't feel safe here. I'm trans. I I'm not safe at a Catholic um hospital. >> Let me talk to my partner and give me a few seconds, okay? >> Okay, don't tell them I'm trans, but >> What's that? >> Don't tell them I'm trans. >> I'm just going to tell them like you prefer TG. >> Please and thank you. >> He said like he's going to process the DUI here. >> They're going to test my alcohol level? >> Yeah, I'll explain. Let me get out of the vehicle and I'll explain, okay? >> Okay. >> Well, at the hospital, this suspect, whose legal name is Miriam, but they go by True, kicked an officer in the chest multiple times. Their blood alcohol content was found to be .03 >> So, .03, which is um not the uh standard for DUI, but it is to the slightest degree. There is DUI to the slightest degree that you can charge. But, positive for THC, positive for other T carboxy THC, THC carboxy this guy all the way >> .03 which is under the legal limit. However, they tested positive for presence of THC. They were >> Okay, so I'm going to share a personal experience. You guys don't know if I've shared this a million a bunch of times on the videos. Matter of fact, we did the Tony Romo video which um people were like, "Oh, you know, there's never a Of course I'm the guy that believes I'm never like DUI people drive under the influence. You might be saying, "Oh, it was only .03." The guy who hit and killed my children, my 22-year-old son and my 11-month-old granddaughter, my daughter-in-law was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He was at a .03 alcohol and he tested positive for THC and he killed my kids. So, don't be thinking that oh, this she wasn't even under the influence or she wasn't impaired. Um I'm living proof that this level of intoxication and impairment can and will hurt people and kill people. I'm not guide. So, anytime I do a video, just know if if I if I laugh at their behavior or whatever, just know that this is a serious matter for myself and my family because we have been the victims of somebody like this driving under the influence of drugs or marijuana and alcohol. >> They were charged with two counts of felony third-degree assault, two counts of resisting, one count of obstruction, one count of failure to stop or give information, and one count of driving under the influence of drugs. They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. >> Cannabis [music] contains molecules that resemble those produced in our very own brains, cannabinoids. Neurons temporarily become unresponsive after firing to prevent them from overreacting or being too dominant, but cannabinoids [music] interrupt this approach in some parts of the brain. This means once you begin your train of thought, it becomes the most significant and profound thing ever, and your neurons keep firing. [music] >> This video from ASAP Science YouTube channel explains why being under the influence of THC while driving isn't a safe decision. Depending on how your >> I've already told you I like I it's not safe and the the the the level of THC we're dealing with nowadays is not like it was 30, 40 years ago and these people would smoke a joint. The THC level is off the charts. It's become a hallucinogen. It's become very destructive. We have a lot of youth using um marijuana and THC and the levels are so high, it causes a lot of damage. And you're seeing now that it gets you become so fixated on one little thing. It has it It has a physic physiological and a physical uh impact on somebody who is using it. And then if you get into the car, even if it's legal in your state, you cannot drive after you have used it. It's like a Xanax. Xanax may be legal with a prescription, but you're not supposed to drive with it and you can get a DUI for it. Trust me when I tell you because I am that proof that people do get hurt or people are hurt and killed by people driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. So, I don't know if we're going to find out what she got. Let's see. Um Let's see. >> Plus, the behavior during the stop. It's possible anxiety from the THC played a role. That obviously doesn't excuse the behavior and it doesn't mean marijuana's effects are always negative, but it does show that driving under the influence isn't limited to alcohol. And something else stood out to me. Getting louder and more argumentative with the cop usually doesn't intimidate them. If anything, it can do the opposite because most cops start thinking, "Why is this person fighting so hard over a simple traffic stop? What else is going on here?" And when somebody starts trying to take control of the >> Look at that lady following them. She should have That lady should have ended up in cops cuffs. These guys were very They were far more tolerant than she would have got They would have got if they'd have done that in our county. They would have got arrested for that. >> Stop. That's when the officer has to stay composed, stay on mission, and not get dragged into the argument. >> Okay. So, we don't know what the ultimate what she got. Um but definitely got charged appropriately. She's the one that escalated this situation. And it's true. She wants to If we're going to use her her her pseudo name, um that uh she broke the law. And she doesn't know what she's talking about. This wasn't a search. It's a plain view. He has the ability to do that. He's on a traffic stop. He's looking for weapons, looking for other people. Let me know what you think. How would you have handled this situation? And could you handle as a cop people acting like this and behaving like this on a traffic stop? I'd love to know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. We'll catch you on the next video.
