Like everybody's just comment. Like do you want to follow me to the KOA? >> No, I don't want to follow you. I'm asking you >> No, I do not have anybody. >> Okay. >> No, ma'am. I don't. Like >> All right, everybody. Welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from police release and it is entitled woman thinks her occupation will save her from arrest. I haven't seen it. Let's go. >> On July 5th, 2026, officers were dispatched to a Tesla charging station after a woman was reportedly found sleeping there and refused to leave when directed by security. >> Yes, I am. >> You know, like half these things we watch, the people just put themselves in these positions. You know, security shows up, "Hey, you can't sleep here." Oh, no problem. Thank you. Ch- Take off. But no. Now you got to refuse to leave and so now the cops are called and now I'm sure it's probably going to go from bad to worse. >> No, he's just sitting there staring at me. So, I'm not mad >> Okay. >> Okay. >> I saw you pull I thought you were just a car at first. >> Okay. >> No, he's just sitting there staring at me. He comes up to my car. I'm charging. Comes up, he puts his his his hand on my on my car and I go, "Excuse me?" And Sorry, I know you like just got here. I'm like I'm pissed off. >> Okay. >> I fell asleep like I I just worked 23 hours. I work at Lower Keys Medical Center. >> Okay. >> I'm sitting there. I'm charging my car. He comes up, he puts his hand on my car and I go, "Excu- Can I help you?" And he's like, "I'm security. You need to get the out of here." I'm like, "It Like chill. Relax. You could just ask me to leave. No problem." He's like, "I got a video of you. You're not looking so good." I said, "I You can take a video of me all day. Like I'm not doing nothing wrong." >> Okay. So, you just worked the whole shift at the ER? >> I literally worked 23 hours. I worked from 6:30 in the morning yesterday morning and I got off at 5:00 this morning. So so 22 and 1/2. >> So, are you sleeping here or why are you here? >> No, I plugged in my car. Like I'm waiting to go. It's a Tesla destination charger. They're public. So, unless it unless they're um it's just that I've done my research. Unless there's a lock, like they can pin it, they can put a pin on it. Unless they put a pin on it and like you have to like make an account like with your reservation number and whatever, they're all public chargers. >> When people start over explaining like this, this is a bad sign for them. She just Chatty Cathy just starting to explain way too much. All she had to do is just say, "Hey, look, no problem. I can get out of here." But no, no, she's got to sit and over explain. >> Okay. Yeah, I don't know about that, but the uh parking lot belongs to them. So, if they don't want you here, you know. >> And it is what it is. Like I'll go, but like he came up and I'm like what like leave me alone. Like you got a video? Like I'll be honest, like I was really like you want to go to a video? Like go. Cuz he was being nasty immediately. >> Okay. >> Is it okay if I get out of this guy's >> Um >> I It's all right. I promise. >> Yeah, he can he can make it. It's all right. Or they can go around. >> and like he was super aggressive and I was like, "If you want me just go, like I'll just go. Like don't just come super aggressive. Like whatever." >> So, he told me that uh he made contact with you, asked you to leave, then you left, and then you came back. So, basically at this point, then they want you to trust Do people just lack I know that there are people that lack intelligence, but there's a lot of people that lack any critical thinking at all. He asked you to leave, don't go back. There's other places you can go charge your Tesla. Don't go back. Certainly not in the same day. >> tossed on here. >> And and frankly, after a 23-hour shift, why not go home? Why not sleep? This is some of the thing that I would be asking myself right now is why wouldn't you just go straight home and go to sleep? Charge your car at home. Well. >> You You said you're local, you live you live in Key West? >> I literally I work at yes, I work at Lower Keys Medical Center. Like if he wanted me to leave, he could have just said my window was all the way down. He had it >> Okay. Can you do me a favor, roll both windows down? That's Officer Young, she's >> Yeah, it wasn't much as like saying, "Hey, can you go" No, I didn't even come I have better things to do with my time. >> Okay. Do you have your driver's license? >> Yeah. >> What what happened to the car? Was it in a crash? >> I was Yeah, I got T-boned at a red light the other day. >> No way. What what was this recent? >> Yeah, it was like a week >> In Key West? >> on insurance. No, I drive down I I live part-time here, part-time in Palm Beach. >> You can already see this is not This is the This is just looking shady and her then shade shadier and shadier. She's kind of mumbling. I don't know, just a little bit. Her behavior's kind of odd. She's got a crashed car, but the details are kind of starting to be a little little iffy. Uh >> Okay. >> Um Palm Beach County. >> Uh Palm Beach >> but I can give you my name and date of birth. >> You don't have your license on you? >> No, I don't think so. >> Problem. Here you go. Give me a second, okay? >> Thank you. >> You got the rooster crowing. >> Okay, so she was charging Tesla? >> She was charging a Tesla. She was sleeping. >> Mhm. >> I asked her if she was okay. She was sleeping like before, which she said, "Why are you on my window?" >> Mhm. All right. Um yeah, just give us a few minutes to wrap this up, and And you want her trespass from here? Is that the case? Okay. Okay. I'll be back with you. >> Are you a nurse? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I'm like all I probably have chocolate on my face right now. >> No, you're fine. >> Like she's irritating. >> work in the ER? >> ignorant. No, I do not work in the ER. >> Where do you work in the You said You said you were you were a nurse? >> Correct. Yeah, I do. travel. It's all over the hospital. So, I'm a travel so I come and I work where they need me to. >> Okay, so so >> I'm down here for 2 weeks at a time. >> Okay, so the traveling part makes a little more sense as to why she didn't probably go back. But, she still probably has a hotel or an apartment or somewhere she stays when she's traveling. >> Okay, so but you're going back to this hospital at 6:00 a.m. is what you said. >> No, I go back at like 4:00 or 5:00 or 8 8 4 about 8 hours from now. 7 and 1/2 hours from now. >> Cuz you just you just told me you were going right back. >> Yeah, I am going right back 4:00 or 5:00. >> Okay. >> Like I literally like I came, I plugged in, I knocked out of the charger, I have to eat and pretty much go right back. >> Okay. >> I'll knock out there for an hour, but like I don't I was explaining to her like he's ignorant. He has no idea what he's talking about. They're public chargers. If he doesn't want me to be here, there's 30 other chargers I can go plug in anywhere else. I'm not taking their electricity. I'm not taking up their spaces because technically if they have the Tesla sign right there, Tesla charging only. He can ask me to leave. He can have small dick syndrome. He can come up and act like a big bad guy. I'll leave. >> Kudos to you for for doing your job. >> But, he's completely ignorant with this situation. I'm not taking up their space technically when I'm parked fully in a spot. I'm not taking their electricity. I'm also not going to cause problem because why am I sitting here wasting my time when I could be sleeping? >> Yeah. >> And I still have a So, I got other things to do. >> Okay. Are you taking any medication? >> No, I'm not taking any medication. >> So, the biggest concern is basically what the the guard told me that you were kind of like passed out and you were like swaying around and you look like you're like there's something wrong that there's something going on. >> Okay. And my you know, it's kind of funny like to specifically tell you, my wife says don't fall asleep in your >> car. >> Mhm. >> Because I she says you look tired when you sleep and people are going to call on you. I said Okay. Uh Okay. >> So, if you're that tired that you're basically passed out in the vehicle, like do you No, what I'm saying is like I'm I'm not sure if you're safe to drive. Big old tattoo on her neck? Looks like so. Okay, well, I don't know how much shuteye did you get while you were trying to charge the vehicles, but From 5:00 a.m. so 2 hours maybe, 2 and 1/2 hours. But, they asked you to leave. So, it may be a public charger for a lot of people to use, but they've asked you to leave the property. The The public charger may be on a private property. I don't know. So, I just left. I Okay. All right, just give us a moment, okay? All right, Alexa, let's go over this one more time. So, what do you do in this situation, you know? Um I I mean, look, I don't think you're looking to arrest this girl. You make it very clear that she's not allowed here. I would have her get out of the car. I would do HGN horizontal gaze nystagmus so that I could figure out whether she was or not under the influence of anything. I would probably I I don't know that you need to run her through FSTs. HGN would give you a pretty good indicator as to whether or not she was able to drive or not. So, being tired can have the same effects as being under the influence of something as well. So, that's also a problem. Um but I think in this situation, I'm just trying to clear her out of there. Just try to solve the problem. You can't be here. Make sure that she's able to drive and then send her on her way. >> You said you were going back to work. >> Correct. >> Correct. >> at about 4:00 or 5:00 in the >> 4:00 4:00 or 5:00 in in the afternoon. >> 5:00. Like I have to be there. I technically work at 5:00. >> Okay. >> So, I have to be in the parking lot changing my scrubs. >> Okay. So, where are you going now because that's still hours away? >> Like where do you sleep? >> Do you know what time it is? >> I I'm going to get food. What What is the issue? >> The issue is >> I plugged in my car. >> Okay, the issue is you are passed out in the vehicle. The issue is I saw the video of you that the guard took of you. Okay, can I can I finish talking? I understand you're exhausted, okay? But that's the another reason why we want to want to make sure you don't drive away and get in a crash. So, do you have somebody who can come and pick you up and drive you in the vehicle? Cuz I don't know if you're okay to drive. >> I am okay to drive. >> Okay, well, you say that, but you know, it's >> Would you like to follow me? I'm going to grab my stuff. I'm about to go back to the car. >> So, is that >> You didn't answer the question. Where are you sleeping? I go to the KOA and shower there. >> Okay. You go where? I'm sorry, I didn't hear that. >> The KOA and shower there. The KOA >> Okay. Okay, so she's just sleeping in her car at the KOA. So, she's sleeping in her car, probably showering at the hospital where she's working as a travel nurse. Uh yeah. Little weird, little strange, but you know, to each his own. >> I am okay to drive like this is just and I know that you guys are just doing your job. I respect and I'm a process server. I work for Orange County Courts. I have a lot of respect for law enforcement. I'm not a person to get nasty, but like then you should have >> I got places to be. >> Right, but you should have some respect then that if we decide that it's not okay for you to drive because you've been up and you're exhausted and maybe your driving faculties are impaired that that that's the call that that we make and we have to deal with it accordingly. Because you're a nurse, you know that if you're up 24 hours and you haven't slept that your faculties can become impaired. >> I just slept for hours at the charger. >> As you saw. Well, I saw you when you woke up and you looked like a ghost. You were you were just like doing really weird stuff in the car. So, that's what I'm concerned. Like now you're talking to me. Now you woke >> I get it. I get it. >> here we go with you. Come on. >> With what? I'm sorry. Okay, so again >> coming. Like do you want to follow me to the kiosk? >> No, I don't want to follow you. I'm asking you >> No, I do not have anybody. >> Okay. >> No, ma'am. I don't. Like why do you think I'm working in the keys? Like Like this is just obnoxious. Like Dude wants to be a Of course I'm knocked out like that. Come on. No, I'm going to go grab my Starbucks. I'm going to grab my coffee and move on with my life. Cuz this is embarrassing enough. >> Okay. Well, I mean in that case um they did >> Sorry, but like that's obnoxious. Like it's not you. Like you guys just saw a video of me like this. >> Okay. >> I don't know why he's like showing off. >> Here's what I'm going to tell you. Um they don't want you to come back here, okay? So, this entire property including the chargers for Tesla, you cannot come back here again, okay? If you do, you'll be you're going to be a subject to arrest. >> Okay. >> Do you understand? >> Yep. Straight up. >> Okay. All right, can get to go drive safe? Appreciate it. >> Sorry but this can't be it, right? >> A few hours later, officers received another call reporting that the woman had returned to the property. >> Oh my goodness. You got to be you can't be an idiot, okay? Goes back to the property where the police told you you couldn't be. She went back to it. >> Ma'am, what's going on? >> Are you the police officer from earlier? >> I am not. What's going on? >> It's clearly there was a female police officer before, two females, two female deputies. I think these are deputies. Then you've got this guy shows up and now they're like she goes, "Are you the one from before?" No. The first one was a female, this one's a male. >> Help. Why? >> No, because they asked me to. >> I'm sorry? >> I had a security guard but oh, sorry. I had a I'm sorry, I have my rash of souls. >> What's going on? >> Nothing's going on, can I go? >> Why are you sitting in the car? >> I'm not sitting in the I'm literally sitting here itching at my Starbucks. I'm waiting to go to work. I'm good. Can can I help you? >> We were called out for you cuz >> Okay, so this is almost 3:00 now, so >> security guard and now I keep my Starbucks before my shift and I'm going to go. I'm looking for my phone and and I just want to be left alone. >> Did they trespass warn you from here? >> No, I did not get a verbal warning. >> Blue Flamingo? Did they give you a verbal warning? >> I'm at Starbucks. >> Well, this is Blue Flamingo's property. >> I'm here at Starbucks. >> This is Blue Flamingo's property. >> So, I'm good. I'm >> Did they give you a warning? >> not get a written warning. >> Okay, do you have an ID? >> I I do not. >> You don't have an ID on you? >> I did not do anything wrong. >> She got lucky the first time. She didn't have an ID, so she they let her drive off without a driver's license without a having possession of driver's license, at least she didn't show one. And they were more than cool with her. I mean, obviously they were trying to figure out whether or not she was able to drive. They trespassed her. But now she continues to push it as if the laws and the rules don't apply to her. The entitled behavior. And I'm guessing this entitled behavior is going to land her in cuffs, only to have her complain later on that she was harassed by the police. Well, >> I'm here for my Starbucks. >> Ooh, I think you may have done something wrong. Let me go talk to him real quick. What's going on, man? She's been here. She got trespassed on earlier today. Okay. And you guys want to trespass trespass this before trespassing? >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah? >> Oh, boy. >> All right, he's the one that called that earlier today. >> Okay. Can I Can I talk to him real quick? >> Yeah. >> What's going on, man? >> What's going on? >> Um so, I can >> We will sign that she was here earlier today. >> She was trespassed this morning by you guys. >> Trespassed this morning by you guys. >> And I gave her a formal warning on that. >> She was given a warning. >> Yeah. You guys want to trespass for that? >> We don't want her part of the property here. >> Yeah, okay. >> We don't want her to come back. >> Pardon? >> Uh Starbucks is part of our property. >> I don't know if you can hear her running her mouth in the background. I don't like Starbucks. All right. >> He's been harassing me all day, sir. >> I've been harassing her all day. This is my case number. >> Okay. >> I'll give this to >> Okay. >> I'll have to All right. >> All right. >> There you go. Boom. Cuffs. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> No. No. Put your hands behind your back. >> I am leaving my Starbucks. >> Excuse me, sir. >> Hey. >> Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. >> Oh. >> I am putting I'm not resisting. Now, get off. >> Yes, you are resisting. >> I'm not resisting. >> There, now she's not. >> Sir, I'm not resisting. >> When you say I'm not resisting, stop. Isn't that the definition of resisting? Like I don't know. >> Ma'am, you got to stop trespassing here, okay? >> I did not. I did not. I did not. >> Yes, you did. >> I'm here at Starbucks. >> This is Blue Flamingo's property. >> I'm here at Starbucks. Parking for Starbucks patrons only. Am I not allowed to have Starbucks? >> Ma'am, this is their property. Stop. >> Okay, then I'll leave. I'm not doing anything. >> Stop. >> I'm literally not doing anything. >> Face the car. Now. You're going to get a charge for resisting, okay? >> holding right here. >> Stop. Lean against the car. >> I'm literally leaning against the car. I'm not doing anything. I have never once in my life been arrested. I'm a nurse. I'm a process server. I work for Palm Beach County courts. >> Do you have an ID? Or not? >> Sir, I wasn't physically trespassing earlier. I'm not doing anything. Okay. >> You have anything in your pockets? >> No. I'm a nurse, sir. >> Ma'am, you were trespassed from here earlier today, okay? >> since. You don't understand. I was not given a written warning. I'm here >> Well, we all saw the body cam video and she was trespassed. A verbal trespass is sufficient for this. You don't need a written trespass warning to uh actually be trespassed. She was told by the police not to come back. >> I'm here at Starbucks. >> This is Blue Flamingo's property, ma'am. >> at Starbucks. I'm here at >> to the hood of the car. Stop. >> I cannot be arrested. I'm a nurse. >> You're trespassing here. >> Oh, I guess if you're a nurse, Dayton, you don't you have to worry about getting arrested. You know, folks, if you're a nurse, you don't get arrested. >> trespassed. >> Ma'am, you have a car, okay? >> not trespassed. Sir, you don't understand. I am a nurse. I wasn't trespassed earlier. You don't understand. The girl said I explained the charges. You can go. I don't care. I got nothing in my pockets. >> Get in the car, okay? >> I mean, this is just one of those scenes where she probably a nice lady, very entitled, I think, but clearly >> Okay. Like, we need to have a conversation before you >> I'm going to put the camera on and go talk to her. >> I work with cops all day. You show up. Like, come on. I just work 24 You don't get it. >> [crying] >> You're an Come on. You're an You've been so mean I work with cops all day. Like, you don't understand. I cannot. Like, this is my career like day one. Like, if I get arrested, like, my whole livelihood is done. I wasn't trespassing >> Ah, you're still a process server. You might lose that ability, too, but uh Sounds like you got a couple different jobs. >> earlier. >> You want me to go earlier? >> I was not trespassed earlier, so I did not get a written warning. >> Are you sober? >> Of course I am. I am a nurse. Jesus. I'm wearing scrubs, for sake. I'm >> Guys, I'm wearing scrubs. Okay? >> I'm a nurse. I'm a process server. I work for the courts. Come on. >> [laughter] >> behind my back. Come on. I can't be arrested. I can't be >> So, this is one of those situations where you could cut her a citation and then let her go. You could take her out of the cuffs, give her a citation, let her go. Tell her if you come back again, you will go to jail, but you have been arrested. You're being cited and released. I would do that for her because I also don't like people lose their jobs. However, she needs a citation. She has She's failed to do this. And if she comes back again, she goes to jail. She needs to understand that. But I'm afraid that she may be going to jail anyway. >> I got arrested. He said, "Oh my god, my life." Like, how long am I going to be in here? Like >> [laughter] >> Like my dog. >> Well, she went to jail. >> The woman was charged with trespassing in a structure or conveyance. The case is still pending. >> Well, she went to jail. That's what you could have done. They had a couple different options. There is no correct option here. They did that's the policy of the department may be you go to jail. Um in our situation, our county is huge. My county was the size of the state of Connecticut. So, it wasn't always convenient for one guy in one part of the county to bring somebody down who wasn't engaged in any violent behavior, but they did break the law. You could issue them a citation, give them a court date, and then have them show up to court. Um and not necessarily take the time to go book them in. But in this particular case, she was booked in. She absolutely got a warning. It may not have been a written warning, but it was a verbal warning from the police that she could not be back there. But her entitlement and her indifference uh and just thinking that she was better that did didn't apply to her or that she was going to somehow talk her way out of it. Uh she ended up in handcuffs and then ended up in jail. And now puts in jeopardy her job. Maybe her job is the process server as well. So, something else is a foot here. I mean, the fact that she's sleeping in her car, sleeping at a KOA. I wonder why she's not going home. Maybe she's a little far. I guess Key West and Palm Bea- Palm Beach County are far away. So, I that makes sense. But anyway, let me know what you think. What is the punishment on this? Me, I think it's a fine. Obviously, the time in jail, time served, it's a fine, and permanently trespassed from that that that location. Uh but I'd love to know what you think. What do you think her punishment should be? And do you think they were patient with her? I think they gave her every opportunity, and she put herself in this position, and it caught up with her. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next video.
