Let's go. >> After two suspects brake check a car and cause a crash, they now focus their rage on the officer. >> All right, miss. >> Unfortunately, you are going to be found at fault for the crash. All right. >> I know you're from I give me Georgia. >> Generally, laws are the same everywhere. That's why you can go from here to Florida, see the same signs of >> Did you see this guy's body language? When you're a police officer, you're paying attention to this. He was at the back of the car. As soon as he says, "Hey, you're going to be found at fault." Which by the way, this is simple it's just simply a citation. Your insurance, if you have it, should cover this. This is between insurance companies. It's not worth getting in a big old fight over, but his body language immediately got defensive and he they be then began approaching the officer the deputy. So, let's This is this automatically would have me my alarm's going off. >> same, you know. So, in the state of Florida, if you're going to merge lanes, someone's in the straight through lane, they have the right of way. Which means it doesn't matter that he sped up, you slow down and you get behind. But, the fact that you sped up and crossed over >> We didn't speed up to cross over. We were staying the same speed. >> What did you say you said you couldn't find a car? >> No. >> Oh. >> So, even even if you did that You don't do that cuz I will arrest you. Next word out of your mouth better just be quiet. >> I have freedom of speech. >> No, that's a threat. That is a threat. I tell you what tell you what. Hold this. Sir, I'm going to put your hands behind your back. >> Nope. >> All right. >> You resist, you will get tased. I'm telling you that right now. Put your hands behind your back. 25, send >> Careful now. >> Oh, okay. So, you don't have to worry about any of that. you can just go home, okay? Okay? >> Okay. Um so he's Sorry. >> Put your hands Put your hands behind your back. You're going to get tased. >> Excuse me, bro. >> Stop. >> Put your hands behind your back. Next >> Do it. >> Put your Put your back or you're going >> No, no, no. Tase him. I'm not going to give you another >> Oh, I didn't think it was going to work, but it did. >> warning. You can leave. Stop resisting. >> So you might be wondering the other body cam The other body cam is on a like a community uh patrol officer. They're They're really just there to help with accidents and stuff. They're not typically to engage in this type of stuff. We had a posse and our posse was trained to help our deputies. And they carried guns and had take-home cars. And they could respond to crash scenes and other crime scenes and help us out. And help with putting cuffs on sometimes, too. >> Stop resisting. >> Or you're going to get tased. >> I don't care. >> What's your name AND BADGE NUMBER? >> WHAT'S YOUR NAME AND BADGE NUMBER, HUH? >> Turn around. >> Huh? >> What's your name and >> Turn around. >> No, please do it. >> Okay. >> I wish you would. >> Please. >> What's your name and badge >> Okay, stop moving. Okay. And do what? Are you threatening me? Okay. Okay. >> I wish you would. >> What's your name and badge >> He's saying I wish you would take off the badge, but he's holding his arm behind his back to put the handcuffs on. Okay, Mr. Tough Guy. >> It's on the paper. >> Oh, really? >> Oh. >> I got two I got two. >> Knocked his camera off. >> Lucas 2031. >> Answers. She doesn't need to know. It's on the report. The badge numbers are on the report. For the video, it's not necessary to say it. All of the badge numbers are on the report. >> Well, I hope you do. >> Okay. >> And I wish you'd take off that god damn belt, boy. >> Ooh, keep talking. Another charge. >> Oh, no. I didn't threaten you. >> It's a freedom of speech, sir. >> It is not freedom of speech. >> Yes, >> right. >> Go over there. Now. Go up. Oh, watch out. >> It might be in the thing. >> Go on my car and get out. >> Yes, you are. >> Go on my car and get >> I'm going to pay you back. >> You are being placed under arrest. >> For what? >> You can step back. >> Step back. Touch me one more time and I'm going to have your whole department. >> Oh, sure you are. >> Have a seat. >> That's it. That's it, Mama. >> We're calling the [ __ ] lawyer. >> Okay. >> Call the lawyer. >> You're going to jail. >> No, I am >> You are being placed under arrest. >> I have money. >> of the car. I don't care. >> Boom. There you go. Yeah. Oh. Knocked his camera off again. >> You can't fight me back. >> Of course she's talking to her mommy on the phone. >> I'm going for a >> Too bad they're calling you. >> You cannot grab my property. >> He's detaining the second uh white female. >> [ __ ] GO. I'M ON THE PHONE. We have everything. You better let them go. >> So, the driver here or the passenger that's in my car >> Oh. Airport police came over to help. >> of this car. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So, I say, man, you can't make a threat right in front of me. All right. So, now you're going to go to jail for threatening him. Go to put on the handcuffs. He resists, then starts threatening me, telling me he'll beat my ass if the badge comes off. Okay. So, now you're both going to go. Detaining him, putting him in the car. She reaches in, tries to grab her cigarette, so I tell her get back. She reaches in twice. Now she's going for resisting. >> Let me get a female unit. and then uh we'll we'll do that. >> Let my children go. >> I know you're on the phone, but I'm hanging up. >> Oh. Let my children go. >> I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE [ __ ] the entire time heard everything. Let my kids go. >> Oh, please. She's got a dog in the car. We'll just We'll give it to the pound. >> Okay. >> All right. Your dog's going to the Seminole County pound, all right? Your car is going to be towed, and you are going to jail for resisting. Do you have any questions? Okay, have a day. >> Uh she ain't going to have nobody's job. >> Don't you threaten me. >> Dude, I didn't even threaten you, bro. I'm going to have your badge. >> Okay. >> That's all everything, man. I'm going to have your badge. >> You're not having anybody's badge. >> You're under arrest. You don't have the right. You can call them when you get out of jail. >> You need to go lose your job over this, bro. You should have >> [laughter] >> played it. >> You broke the law. You broke the law. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be used in court as evidence against you. >> No. >> You have the right to an attorney now. >> No. >> You have the right to have an attorney present during all questioning. If you refuse to answer questions, all questions will be stopped. So, that means you can be quiet now or keep talking. >> Oh, yeah, I'm going to. >> All right. Okay. You already released the other guy? >> Huh? >> The other driver, you already released him? Okay. >> already left. >> That's fine. >> He got nervous. He said, "I can't >> Yeah, I I can understand, bro. You're not going to threaten somebody right in front of me. >> He did. He did though. >> But he was here when that happened. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right, and that's why he left. Okay. >> Yeah, he got >> Yeah, that guy was nervous. He was he he was he didn't even know what to say when they he started to put handcuffs on the guy. She was just looking at her kind of in a sheepish look, and then she finally went around him, and she didn't help either, but that's not her job. >> Very nervous. He's like, "I got to go." >> Okay, that's fine. Well, I'm pretty So, what So, there she's pissed off, determined she's at fault. He's in the other driver's in the straight-through lane. They merged over, cut him off. Um >> him, and he hit him. >> Brake-checked him, you're at fault. He has the right away. It's his lane. You slow down and get behind him. And then you jam your brakes in front of him. You're at fault. So I'm explaining that to her. He gets all amped up and starts threatening homeboy in front of me. I'm like, "Yo, man. Chill out." No, no, [ __ ] that. Okay, well then you can go to jail. I have no issues writing this report. So I go to put him in cuffs. He resists. Then tells me to take off my badge and see what happens. Well, them are fighting words per law. So you can go to jail. So I'm going to go ahead and take him. We have animal control coming for the for the I didn't even ask you. And then I think her car is running. Yeah, well the dog's in there. So I'm good with that. Sit, baby. No, you're good, bro. So this is started off as a traffic crash. >> They're going to explain it again. It's like the third time he's going to explain it. >> was driving. Cuz he got out and started beating on the guy's window. But whatever, she says she was driving cuz he don't have a license. They're in the merge lane. There's a driver half a car length about ahead of them. They try to fly forward and pass him. Wind up getting clipped on on their passenger right side. Okay, so you're at fault. You you shouldn't have tried to pass the guy. He has the right away. It's a straight through lane. There's no He doesn't have any yield signs. Fast forward, explaining to them that they're at fault. He gets pissed off, starts threatening the other driver as I'm standing there. I'm like, "Bro, you can't do that in front of me." Oh, no, [ __ ] that. Okay, then you can just go to jail. So I go to detain him. Starts resisting. I don't know who the hell he is. I don't know who he works for. I don't care. Finally get him detained after pulling out the taser and pointing it at him. As I'm putting him in the back of the car, she reaches in. I'm like, "Yo, get back." She reaches in again and tries to grab the cigarette cigarettes or something. I don't know what the hell she's doing, but she's reaching in like coming down by my left leg. I'm like, "All right, nope. Now you're going to go for resisting." So whatever. We're just waiting on our female sergeant. I'm going to put you in my car. You going to be calm? >> Well, I'm calm usually. I put my hands in front of me. When I got into an accident my shoulder >> Sorry. Here's a simple solution. Don't get arrested. Don't Just all they had to do was take the ticket. That was it. Take the ticket. Let your insurance companies figure it out. That's it. And no, they had to turn this into a whole situation. >> There's a dog about 25. We're giving it to animal control. Unless your mother lives nearby, I'm willing to turn it over to her. But she's like I I don't know why people think like I don't care about you recording. It's not a big deal. Record, but keep your distance. Especially when I'm detaining somebody. And then you're going to reach in by my leg twice after I just told you to to back >> And this guy's not interested in hearing it. He Look at him, he's just looking off somewhere else. >> Hey, Sarge. We got one over there. The female's right here. Step out for me real quick. She's just going to do a search on you. Just face the car. >> You got anything on you? You're just going to stab me poke me? >> No, hell no. I hope not. >> And while she's doing that, does your mother live nearby where she can come get the dog? >> I'm not talking to you, but I'll talk to you another officer. >> Okay, then the dog will go to the pound. >> Do you have anybody near where you somebody can get your dog? >> Uh my mother-in-law is in St. Petersburg, Florida. >> So nobody close. >> No, but we can probably get somebody up here. >> Within the next 30 minutes? >> Uh 15. >> 15? >> I'm not going to sit here for 30 minutes. >> Before the before the tow truck gets here. >> Will I get the address of where >> You'll be able to get the animal That is right next >> Right outside the jail. >> It was right next to the You can literally throw throw your paper away. >> Let me go check on her. >> Okay, that's fine then. >> When I take you When I take you, I'll I'll point you where you can go pick him up. >> Okay, thank you. Can you loosen them a little bit? Sorry, it's my first time ever being arrested, so I'm not used to this. That's first time for everything, right? I hope this is the last time. >> Yeah, me too. >> me about it. >> Have a seat. >> Thank you. >> Poor dogs got to go to the pound now. >> Do me a favor, step out. >> know. Come on. Can I have some help, ma'am? Oh, [ __ ] I ain't going to do nothing stupid, y'all. >> Well, I don't think you will. >> Come on. >> I'm just making sure your cuffs are not tight. I can literally get three fingers in there. >> See, if they'd have behaved like this from the beginning, they wouldn't be in this situation. But they let their emotions get the best of them over a traffic accident, and now look at them. Dogs going to the pound, which probably is bothers me the most, and then these other two uh knuckleheads, I mean, I call them knuckleheads because they really don't seem like bad people, but they certainly uh walked right into this situation. >> By policy, all I have to do is be able to get my thumb in there. >> All right, okay. >> You see that, all right? Thumb, >> you. >> thumb, three fingers. You have anything illegal on you? >> No. No. I shouldn't. Maybe up my ass. >> I don't know. >> All right, let the jail deal with that. All right, have a seat for me. >> a seat. >> All right. Thanks, Sarge. >> All right, you ready? >> Yes, ma'am. >> All right. Okay, sweetie. >> Oh, jacked their car. >> Hi. Hi, is that a girl puppy? >> Come on. Come on. >> Oh. It's okay. It's okay. Aw, you >> Aw, little puppy, too. >> Aw, tell everybody thank you. >> Good boy, thank you. >> Is that a girl puppy? >> Poor little puppy. >> He's happy. He's happy. He got attention now. Okay, sweetie. >> Do you know how long like how long that they were here like has he been in the car for a while or anything? >> Yeah. Well, because if we were working a crash, so maybe about an hour and a half. >> An hour and a half? Okay. >> No worries. Here's my business >> That's your car? >> Yep. >> Perfect. Thank you guys very much. I appreciate you guys. >> This looks like the service officer stayed and waited for animal control to show up. >> You're welcome. Thank you. >> No problem. >> The male was charged with simple assault, intentional threat of violence, and simple assault on a peace officer. The female was charged with resisting. They are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. >> Oh, these are situations. These are tough ones, you know, because these people they got into an accident. Um you know, and I I don't think what this guy what the police officer I think he handled the situation. Sometimes you can use force, verbal force, just be like, "Hey, knock it off." And then when these guys if these if the suspect knows you're real deal, you mean business, a lot of times they'll just shh cut down because they don't want to engage in it. In this particular case, this guy lacked the respect for the law enforcement officer, and so he kept running his mouth, and ends up getting arrested, and then she ends up getting arrested as well. Um I can't say that I would have arrested her. I'd have given her a uh you know, chewed her out. And what I think I would have probably done with him is maybe given him a disorderly conduct citation and then let him go um after. I don't know. But typically if you're going to charge him with resisting arrest, they're going to go to jail. Uh so uh once that happened, that guy was bought and paid for, but uh yeah, I mean all all all of these things are easy to dissect when you kind of go back and look at them. But in the end, I appreciated the fact that he put this guy in cuffs as quickly as he could because this situation could have potentially gone much worse. And you certainly don't want him going over and attacking or doing anything assaulting the the the guy that they were in the accident with. And this was their fault and they didn't want to take the consequences of of their actions while they were driving and that road rage led to this. Now they got arrested. It's just one of those deals like just chill. Just be nice, relax, save yourself a lot of trouble. Let me know what you guys think. I don't think they deserve any jail time to be honest with you. I think they just, you know, time served when they go to jail and hopefully they learn their lesson. But let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next video.
