No, you cannot put your Put your >> I need my teeth to eat, sir. >> Okay, well you're not eating right now, right? >> No, but I I I have to shut up. >> You almost killed a bunch of people. Put your feet up. >> I was trying to get out. >> All right, everybody, welcome back. We got another video for you. This one comes from Midwest Safety and it is Breaking Bad in real life. I have not seen this video. Let's go. On August 22nd, 2025, a deputy with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department in New Mexico Okay, so Breaking Bad took place in New Mexico. Bernalillo County is Albuquerque area of New Mexico. So, that makes sense that this could legit be like a Breaking Bad thing in real life. >> pulled into a gas station to fill up, he had no way to know that this simple act would end with five people in handcuffs. >> I just robbed at gunpoint. He stole my truck. >> He stole your truck? >> Yeah, he had a big old machine gun he stuck it to my head. Said, "Hey, give me the keys to that truck. That's my truck. It's a Ford F-150. It's a two-tone green and brown. There's a blue car, little blue Looks like that white Chevy right there following it. >> One guy with a girl, short red hair looking girl. She's driving the blue car. He had a mask over his face. He's a white guy. >> So, do you think you know who might have done this? >> Somebody tied to Matthew Hunter. I think the truck was originally Matthew Hunter's father or father-in-law's truck. So, >> I think they did come by the shop in the same little blue car. >> Girlfriend's name is Ida Rose. >> Please be careful. These people are no joke. >> About 15 minutes later, deputies spotted the reported stolen truck a half mile away. As the first deputy arrives at the truck's location, a suspect matching Matthew's description manages to flee to the rooftop of a nearby home while leaving >> Sounds like a total meth addict, too. Fleeing to the rooftop. That's a total meth head thing to do. >> behind an unknown associate. >> Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. Come here. He's climbing on the roof of the corner house. Turn around. I see you on the roof. Let me see your hands. >> [laughter] >> Come this way. >> Try to hide. >> Come this way. >> I don't have nothing to do. >> This is something you would see out of Breaking Bad. Bald, looks like a WMA. So, what he's trying to do is get a better advantage point or a safer place to stand because he was kind of wide out out there in the open. So, you might be saying, "Why not just grab this guy and put him in cuffs?" Well, he doesn't know what's on the roof. This guy could potentially have a gun. So, he's trying to take a a better cover position um so that he can deal with this guy. >> For SMA, white shirt, blue jeans. Come here. Come here. Come here. Over here. >> You talked to the >> All right. Go. Put your hands on the my car. I got both vehicles. Got the Chevy as well. He was on the roof. Yep. Bring your hands back. Wait. Click. Boom. Nice. Cuff counter. Ooh. We got one of five. I love it. You know me, I'm all about that. Put the Get the handcuffs on him, these folks. Safest thing to do. You can figure it out later. I don't know what he's got in his hand. It looks like he has a little black roll of electric tape down there or something. Okay. This is the vehicle that the girl supposedly drives, Ida Rose. Come here. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. Sheriff's office, get on the ground. >> Oh, woah, woah, woah, woah. >> Muzzle punch him right in the Get on the ground. No. No. >> How do you You can't let him get in the car. I'm going to shoot you. Oh, total meth face. Okay, so when this guy walks up, doesn't listen to your commands, bam, you just muzzle punch him right in the chest. I promise you that'll drop him like a bad habit. Um but I'm not a big believer in moving back. You stand your ground. That rifle it you just This is a quick little We do it in SWAT entries if you somebody's in the hallway, you know, you muzzle punch him if they're in the wrong way. This guy's running at him. He's already got one guy in custody. There's a whole lot going on here. But look at that meth face. That's right there the poster. You can put that on a poster of like don't do meth. >> He's taking off. He's taking off. Taking off. >> He's got somebody in his car. Where is he going to go? >> Get out. Get out. Sorry, sir. >> 10-4 on pursuit. Spike strips. >> Let me see your ID. Ah, [ __ ] There it is. Yeah, I'll get back. Stay here. >> Got him on the rear Bravo. Request now. Ah. Yes. Going on to the traffic Martin. So pull up in front of me. >> So he goes back. >> Just come here. >> Heavy speed. Heavy traffic. Going into the construction zone. >> In the end I think he did the right thing by staying with this guy. You just don't know who this guy is. He could be involved. This is where you rely on the other guys. You got somebody in pursuit of him. Other units will show up to help. It's hard because we as cops we want to be in the action. And you want to catch the guy that just ran up on you and jumped in a car and ran off. So uh but yeah, you deal with this guy with the Raiders shirt on. >> I thought you were going to start booking at him right there. I should have. >> 10-4. >> Now northbound on a Slauson. >> I know I swear we had dash cam going in. >> I'm going to prepare pit >> Oh jeez, what are you doing? >> Get the [ __ ] OUT OF THE WAY. >> What is Roseman doing? >> Continuing northbound. Going to go ahead >> What the hell was Roseman doing? Even those guys are like, "Roseman, what are you doing?" >> I'm going to attempt to pit as soon as I can. >> Oof. >> Go. Go. Go. >> Okay, Romero. >> What's up? Get out OF THE CAR. GET YOUR [ __ ] HANDS UP. GET YOUR [ __ ] HANDS UP. >> OOH, SENDING THE DOG, PLEASE. He could easily back up right here. >> I can't see him. I DON'T HAVE VISUAL. >> Step out OF THE CAR NOW. >> CROSSFIRE, WATCH THE CROSSFIRE. >> GET A 40 up. Somebody get a 40 up. Get out of THE CAR NOW. >> THEY'RE SO LUCKY they did not run into that cop when he cut him off. >> nothing in his hands. >> Let me see your hands. >> The deputy >> Get YOUR HANDS UP. GET YOUR HANDS UP. >> [screaming] >> HANDS UP. HANDS UP. LAY DOWN. ON THE GROUND! AND DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE! >> MALE WAS cooperative getting out of the vehicle. Hands up. >> On the ground! >> I can't see inside the car. >> Move around! Let's move around! Let's move around! >> Good work. >> Hold on, Tim. >> Got him out of the car. >> Don't [ __ ] move! >> Okay, dog goes back in. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Do not [ __ ] move! >> Oh, yeah. Here we go. >> Shut up, sir. >> Anyone else in the car? >> No, sir. >> Anyone else in the car? >> Just me, sir. >> Give a [ __ ] about your teeth right now? >> Get up! I I I can't eat through it. >> Get up! That should be the last of your worries, bro, is your [ __ ] teeth. >> Uh female is still outstanding. Um when I saw the vehicles and turned around on them, that's when this male took off. >> Shut the [ __ ] up! >> Oh, he's scared of tooth. >> Scared? >> They they they said they would shoot me, sir. >> You have a good man. You guys good? >> Yeah. >> His teeth. >> Can you get my teeth? >> You have any guns on you, knives, or weapons? Brass knuckles like Was that a brass knuckles or was that a knife? >> Weapons you got brass knuckles on you, man? >> Yeah, brass knuckles. >> The gentleman I'm talking to, he states that there is at least one female inside by the name of >> meth houses >> It's offender. >> I'll go back to him. >> Another brass knuckles? >> You don't know what that is you're talking, man. >> Is he somebody else's pants or what? >> Uh This is the old from the old Live PD days when we used to do Live PD, man. Everybody would say, "Those aren't These aren't my pants." And that's what he's basically trying to say. The deputy says, "These are somebody else's pants?" He's like, "Uh yes, sir. These are Yeah, they were." Come on. Man, I'm talking to you. Who is Halica's oxygen? >> No, the boyfriend, Ramon. >> How old is Halica? >> I say she's in her 40s. >> 40s? >> Yeah. >> All right. Do me a favor, come just stand over here for me, boss. I know I'm asking a lot for you. There's a lot going on. It's a little chaotic. >> Yeah, I see him. >> Long gun used in the car jacking. Okay. I think maybe he was trying to load something. I don't know. >> You almost killed a lot of people, dude. >> Yes, I thought you just uh >> You drove in the oncoming lanes, put a bunch of people in danger. >> I did, sir? >> Cuz you're high. Take a seat. >> Yes, sir. >> Is there another car? Go. Take a seat. No, you cannot. Put your Put your feet in. Okay, well, you're not eating right now, right? Get applesauce. That's what you get. Shut up. Put your feet in. Shut up, buddy. Dumb it. Thank you. >> He said they're going to kill me. >> I can't do this. stupid or Can I have something to come out here to get his car with you standing right there? Can you tell me to hold that house? >> 10-4. We believe the female is there. It seems like we are She's also facing charges. Once other units get get her, we set up, we'll start pacing. >> 10-4. Notify on Charles Hawkins, Audrey Pinson. 0 Wallace. Southeast, you need to exit the front door with your hands up, open and empty, and follow the orders of the nearest deputy. >> This is Ben We got shots fired. Occupants inside. All of Southeast. You exit the residence with hands up, open and empty, and follow the orders of the nearest deputy. >> Police disconnect the battery to preserve the car's black box data for a digital search warrant, and also temporarily disables the truck. I was thinking initially this was to disable the truck, but also I can understand the black box to which will which will show where the truck the car has been and all that. Once again, this is a stolen vehicle, so it belongs to somebody else. It doesn't belong to them either, but you don't want them coming out and taking the vehicle and moving on either. So, pop the battery, car won't start. Smart. >> You need to exit front door with your hands up, open and empty, and follow the orders of the nearest deputy. >> Like if you've ever been to Albuquerque, it is a target-rich environment, and uh these guys are are that are the deputies there are probably used to dealing with some some crazy stuff, and so I imagine they're pretty seasoned on this. And uh good thinking by disconnecting the battery. >> Can you check for me and make sure we got somebody on that far south side? There's an alleyway right where his unit is. It's full of junk, but they could be going through there. I've been in here. We did a marshal thing here last year. The owner's a handicapped individual. Potentially it's a 40. >> Yeah, he said he's on oxygen. >> He is always lighting like he does his stuff staying in the back. >> Got the rifle. >> Oop, 40 mm. So, we've talked about the 40 mm. It's like a little grenade launcher is what it looks like. Um shoots different types of canisters. It can shoot uh uh pepper pepper or a gas. Really CS gas is what we use. The it's not really pepper spray. It's a gas, but um they'll also shoot like a projectile, which best way I can describe it, when you look at the projectile, it looks like half of a racquetball. Um but it shoots that thing out, man. It It It put a hurting on you. >> This my >> Come here. What's your name? Okay, come here. Keep your hands up. >> Keep walking. >> So, they called her out. Got a couple more guys show up. Stop right there. Face away from me. Drop your cigarette and your lighter. Keep walking backwards. >> Put your hands behind your back. Right now, you're just detained. You're not under arrest. You understand that? >> My husband's in there. He's partially deaf. >> Partially deaf? Does he have oxygen? >> Yes. >> Who else is in there? >> Not nobody. >> Just Just him? Okay. A double cuff her. >> She's yelling. Do you hear it? >> Yeah. >> So, three of five going in cuffs. Looks like we got two more still. >> We've been trying to get rid of all this garbage around here. >> All right. >> Hang tight, okay? >> Hey G, you moving? >> Pushing with you. Pushing with you. I got house. >> Um gloves or glasses? >> Early County Sheriff's Office. Walk to the sound of my voice with your hands up, open and empty. Do it now. We know you're in the backyard by the RV. Now, you might be saying, do they have a search warrant, the right to go on the property? Okay, here's a good look at those little canisters I was telling you about. How it looks almost like a little woof racketball. If you look up in the upper left-hand corner before below Chavez, you'll see it looks the canister looks almost like a racketball. That's the projectile that will come out and thump somebody if they shoot it at them. They are dealing with an exigent circumstance. They could articulate making sure that the house is safe. They had a carjacking and the car the stolen car is out front. They had a report of somebody using a weapon in it. And so, I don't know that they would necessarily have the right to go in the house, but they had a guy that was on the roof. So, right now they're just making it they're trying to clear it and I'm good with what they're doing thus far. I think they're within their they're they're they're not going beyond their this these folks' constitutional rights. >> We're moving up. >> Sheriff's office, female who fled from deputies. You need to step out now with your hands up open and empty. Do it now. >> Let's push this way since we have He's holding from there. He can hold that. There's a open room right there. >> So, she had pink hair? >> Yeah. >> No. >> You want to check that either that little that little cubby right there, John? You're right. >> This one, yeah. We checked the end of that. >> Come out now. Do it now. >> Crawl out. Crawl out. >> Hiding behind all that junk. >> You're good. Straight back, all three of you. You're good. Straight back. Keep crawling. >> You good? >> Keep crawling. >> This must be Ida Rounds. >> Stop there. >> Turn around. Go down on your knees. >> Go on hands. >> Get down here. >> On your knees right now. >> Put your hands on your head. >> Walk. Start walking. Start walking. >> They're hiding. That's okay. >> I was on sheer terror. >> What? Let's check this system right here. It's boarded all the way to the top. Hey, show me your hands. There's another one right here. Show me your hands now. Come out here. >> Kind of hoping they shoot the 40 mm. >> Okay, that's cool. Come out. Keep your hands up. Okay, you can pick it up from the top. Who else is in there with you? >> Nobody. >> Show me your hands. Turn around. Stop. Turn around. Face that way. Put your hands on your head. >> This is what's like you go to some of these houses and there's people everywhere. Hiding in the back, hiding in this little shed thing. Uh on the roof. One lady comes out of the house. The other dudes I mean, what a cluster. This is what meth houses look like. >> Good? Okay. Good job. These guys are doing a good job. Yeah, we're good. You have an ID on you? >> No. >> What's your first name? >> Randy. >> Huh? >> Randy. >> Well, laying over like that doesn't help. Sit up. If you make me sit you up, I'm going to charge you with resisting. It's really that simple. Five, four, three, two, >> Oh, now you can >> Sit up straight. >> This is the same one that fell from the second story. >> Is she ready? >> Yeah. >> No [ __ ] >> Yeah. >> I'm positive. Yeah, I'm positive. >> We put it out over there on >> With the white roof. >> Yeah. >> No [ __ ] >> Yeah. >> I think we saw like the pallet move. And like just this little bit of feet here at the top and then I could hide through the pallet and it saw me and it just ducked right down. >> Yeah, I'm just trying to be sober and live a good life. I don't want all this drama here. >> Yeah. I'm trying to be sober, so you know, I just figured I'd live with all these meth addicts. I figured that's probably the best place for me trying to be sober. >> You don't need it. Your husband don't need it. >> No, we don't. >> So, you're good to go. >> so much, officer. You have a wonderful day. >> You as well. Thank you. >> Look at what happens with compliance. Look at that. They worked through it. They had no charges on her. Nothing. They weren't trying to trump up charges on her. They literally just processed it and said, "You're good to go." I think that other guy, the one they originally came in contact with, same thing. No charges. He wasn't identified in being the car jacking. And even though he was at a meth house, maybe he's a meth addict. I don't know. But, that day, this day, they had no charges on him. So, he walks free, too. This guy, he ran from the cops. The other girl, she was hiding. Um and she was part of that other car jacking, so let's see what happens here. >> I'm sure my wife that truck belongs to. >> So, did you take the truck by force? I had What force did you use? >> I told him he he stole my damn truck and he shouldn't be driving the truck and told him to give me the keys. >> Did you point a firearm at him? >> No, absolutely not. >> Were you concealing your face with a ski mask? >> Yeah, yeah, sure, I was. >> Why were you wearing a ski mask? Why were you wearing a ski mask? >> I wasn't wearing >> That's right there, actually. >> Yeah, I was wearing a beanie or >> So, did you or did you not point a firearm at him? >> No, I didn't. >> There's cameras and there's witnesses, so tell me the truth. >> I had an airsoft rifle with me and I told him that it was an airsoft rifle. I told him that. >> So, do you believe or think any reasonable person would perceive that as a real rifle if that is pointed at them? >> No, but I told you it's an airsoft rifle. >> So, if you had to estimate how long she's had that car since you guys have been together for almost a decade at least, how long would you say she's had that? >> I don't know. >> Okay, so I'm I'm to tell you now that vehicle is stolen. So, unless you don't want her to face any more charges, I suggest you start telling me some more truth. You're not allowed to possess a firearm, right? >> He does look like uh uh Heisenberg. Is it Heisenberg? Yeah. He looks like Heisenberg. Looks like Walter White there. >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. It did not have a firearm, sir. It had an assault rifle. No, it was airsoft. Firearm was there in my vehicle. At the end of the thing, I told him I felt stupid. This is airsoft, but you know, I felt stupid for the push. They pulled air and made me do it. And I thought it was I thought >> He looks like Walter White. >> Angelica and the mechanic were released on scene without charges. However, Randy, the final person to be handcuffed, was charged 2 months later with felony possession of a controlled substance, and a warrant was ordered a month after his charges were filed for failure to appear in court. Multiple other warrants have been issued since then, the most recent on July 10th, 2026, and there is a no bond hold currently ordered by the judge. His case is ongoing, and he is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. According to the incident report, Ida Rose, the fourth person to be cuffed, insisted that she had no knowledge of her husband Matthew's plans to steal the truck and pleaded with him not to. Investigators later learned that she consumed an >> Hold on. You either have knowledge of it and plead with him not to do it, or you had no knowledge of it. You can't have no knowledge of it, but plead with him not to do it. If you plead with him not to do it, it means you had knowledge of it. >> unknown amount of fentanyl powder, and she was [music] transported to the hospital for evaluation, where she made a full recovery. She was not immediately charged with any crimes. However, in November 2025, she was charged with receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle and resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer. Those charges were dismissed in May 2026 after the state failed to properly complete discovery. Because they were dismissed without prejudice, Ida Rose may be charged again. >> So, dismissed without prejudice versus dismissed with prejudice. Dismissed without prejudice means there is no prejudice towards the case. They can bring it back when they gather more evidence or put the case together. If it's dismissed with prejudice, that means that you cannot bring that back. There is prejudice against that. So, um this is dismissed without prejudice. They just have to put more evidence together. They can bring those case those charges back. >> And for those alleged crimes, 41-year-old Matthew Hunter was on probation for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon earlier in 2025. A search warrant was >> So, he played, but he was already out. He should have went to prison for a couple years. Come on. This is why we're dealing with this guy again, because they didn't hold him accountable when he was in possession of a firearm as a felon. All of that. He should have been in prison for 5 years. We wouldn't be dealing the these poor guys wouldn't be dealing with this right now. >> completed on the blue SUV where his airsoft [music] rifle was found loaded with real 5.56 ammunition. The blue SUV, which was also reported stolen, was recovered by a repo company that claimed ownership. Matthew was booked into jail and charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault upon a peace officer with >> Knowing these courts and these judges nowadays, they'll probably give him like a uh a timeout. 15-minute timeout and let him come back out. Unbelievable what we're dealing >> a deadly weapon, [music] aggravated fleeing an officer, receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer, and possession of a firearm by a felon. He pleaded not guilty, and a judge denied him bond. Two months later, he >> So, I love it when they denied bond, because then it forces them to have to deal with this case, or else they don't get out of jail. And so, they sit in jail, and that makes them not go this whole nonsense that cost the taxpayers so much money where they drag these cases out for years and he's out on bond. He's stuck in jail, so his want his desire to to bring uh to adjudicate this case is much better. So, 2 months later, he comes back and enters a plea agreement cuz he's stuck in jail. >> He entered a plea agreement where most of the charges were dropped in exchange for pleading guilty to robbery, aggravated fleeing an officer, and receiving or transporting stolen motor vehicles. His probation was revoked and Matthew will serve the remainder of his probation at Northwest New Mexico Correctional Center. Though it appears that he hasn't done much [music] with his rehabilitation. His most recent New Mexico >> Now, look at him. Dang. Looks like a turd. >> DOC photo sees Matthew sporting new tattoos, 1488 and two SS lightning bolts, both associated with white supremacist prison gangs. >> So, clearly he's hooked up with the uh white white power or like white supremacist that are in the whites in jail. In the west, it's very segregated, not by it's just the inmates do it themselves. It's white, black, Hispanic, and Native American, especially in New Mexico, Arizona. So, he's obviously clicked up with these guys. Wow, good work. Other than that Roseman guy cutting off the cops, the other deputies, this was great work all the way around. They pounced on it quick, found these vehicles. They got these folks in custody, put cuffs on people, took them off, and let people go where there was no charges, and held the other people accountable. Um in the end, these are just kind of especially the three of them, the two that got off, I don't know, but the three career criminals. One ends up getting charged with fell um meth felony. These two uh end up getting charged. Finally, one guy goes to prison, but uh they didn't tell us how long his sentence is for. We'll have to figure that out um and see how long he went. Anyway, there you go. Breaking Bad in real life, right there in New Mexico, right in Albuquerque. Great job by the Bernalillo County uh Sheriff's Deputies. Good job. Let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. Dayton was telling me some of the comments from the original video, and uh they're pretty funny. So, if you want to go to Midwest Safety and check out this video and see some of the original comments, it looks like they're targeted towards Roseman, who cut off the other deputies in the when they were pursuing this guy. So, let me know what you think. Comment, like, subscribe. I'll catch you on the next video.
