I don't answer questions. I'm attorney present to law enforcement. So, we got anything that's relevant or you just coming over here and make small talk and casual conversation? >> No. >> Okay. That means it has to ease me. Right out there. That way. That way. Come on over there. >> Hey, where are you touching me? Did you not hear me the first time I talked to you? Put your hands on me at all. I have not approached you. I You So, if you don't like it, that's your goddamn problem. I'll get hands on, son. So, today you're going to receive a citation for speeding going 50 and a 40. I was just checked on my radar while we were moving. Uh, the court date is 57 2024. [music] >> Right in front of his young child. The father was arrested for evading arrest, a charge [music] usually associated with fugitives, but here he was just walking into the house. Come here. >> Hey, watch the dogs. They're all here. Grab dogs and uh tell [music] your mom. >> Okay. >> Okay. What's the work for fellas? Come this way. >> What's the work for? >> We'll tell you in a second. >> No, you tell me where you're at now. >> What's the work for? What's the mark for fellas? Hey, what's that for? Arrested [ __ ] Arrest me for God damn it. Would your mama not raise you in any You just as dumb as your goddamn daddy was. >> And when the ex-wife showed up, the story should have stopped. But [music] instead, the police threatened to call CPS because a child was at home with his grandfather. Who were they protecting or what were they hiding? >> Questions out. >> Come on. >> I'm turn. God damn it. >> Look at you. >> Turn around. Consider [music] that you start your seizures on my property. >> No. Okay. I don't need concern. >> You're under arrest here. >> For what? >> You haven't told me that. You're a warrant. >> For what warranty? If I want arrest, you piece of which one or what? >> Sit down. >> What is the [music] arrest for you? >> Sit back. God damn. Where you from? The whole goddamn forest. This become the crookedest [ __ ] suckers I've ever met in my life. God damn you mother. If legal action is taken, the [music] officer could face civil rights violations under 42 USCS 1983. Additionally, the absence of a warrant, lack of sufficient evidence, and improper arrest procedures could result in the ticket being dismissed and the incident becoming grounds for an internal investigation or civil lawsuit. Next, when a boat roars through a slow sped zone, officers think it's just a careless tourist. [music] But the driver is a sheriff's deputy taking his family on a beach trip. One life jacket for each person and a sound producing device. Please open open the hatch. >> Yeah, you certainly can. Yeah, I'd like for you to do it for me. >> He said there [music] were guns on board and immediately the inspection went from relaxed to emergency mode. But that wasn't [music] what put the officer on high alert. >> As I was above the speed. >> Yes, sir. Yeah. That sign back there, you were on plane. You passed it. You finally came [music] down after I came around and called you over. It's idle all the way in once you hit that sign. See the speed of that boat right there? That's the speed you need to be going to. >> Just so you know, I don't have signal. >> Okay. Gotcha. All right. [music] Just as long as it stays there, I'll be good. All right. So, could I see uh your license and the registration for the vessel? >> If we want, what we can do is I'll take this right here. I'll tie around this. That way it'll hold it in. Where you got coming from? >> Like county sh. >> No, I'm saying where are you coming from today? >> Oh, we were at the seminar all day. >> Okay, gotcha. >> Okay. >> Okay. The registration, sir. >> You have it in your truck? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Could I see a life jacket and sound producing device? One life jacket for each person and a sound producing device. Please open the hatch. May I go over? >> Yeah, you certainly can. Yeah, I'd like for you to do it for me. Stay down. What is the uh rope [music] that you just pulled out for? >> Just to tell >> Okay. >> Okay. >> A series [music] of field sobriety tests begin. And every little misstep is recorded. But if you think this deputy will handle it smoothly, [music] prepare to be surprised. >> You can go ahead and return it. Right. Go ahead and return. Left. You can return, sir. Right. Go ahead and return. Right. Return. [music] Left. Return, sir. Okay. Go ahead and and go back to that that position that I had you in before you started [music] the task. Just hands down by your side. One, two, one, two, one, two. Repeat this speed up as you go and do not [music] stop until told. One, two, one, two, one, two. Again. One, two, one, two, one, two, one, two, one, two, one, two, one, two, one, two. Speed up. Two, two, one, two, one, two, go back down. Okay, begin. >> [music] >> 1 2 3 4 [music] and you said count backwards. >> Do your best. Do the best so you can remember. >> 7 6 5 and then you said I think you said I guess. >> Okay. Can I talk? >> Yeah. >> All right. You say boot right here and I'll be right back. Okay. Don't. >> All right, let's do you got some shoes? I want to have a chat with you over here real quick. All right, grab your shoes. Do you have any jacket or life jacket or something like that? >> Instead of being handcuffed [music] in front of his wife and children, he was invited to shore for a gentle chat. But then the [music] officer announced, "You are under arrest for BUI, driving a boat [music] while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 0.165, twice the legal limit." >> Bro, you okay? Yeah. [music] >> So, uh, do me a favor. Turn around for me. You are going to be placed under arrest for voting under the influence. Okay. I just didn't want to do it [music] in front of your family. I'll explain your options here in a second. Okay. So, I see signs of impairment. Odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from your breath. All right. So, I saw signs of um that would indicate impairment. Right. So, slurred speech, odor [music] of an alcoholic beverage coming from your breath. Obviously, there was beer kids or alcoholic beverage empty beverages on the inside the boat on your standard [music] field sobriety test. There were some indicators in there as well that showed the operator was [music] taken into custody and provided two breath samples 0.15 0.165 [music] which is double the limit and he was charged with boating under the influence. And it should be noted that there is an enhanced penalty for anyone who has a blood alcohol limit [music] over 0.15 accompanied by children under the age of 18. As you should know by watching my videos, I am very neutral in regards to law enforcement. I honestly believe that the vast majority of copper are good law-abiding citizens. So it actually [music] bums me out when officers like this break the law and put themselves. In the state of Florida, according to Florida statute [music] SS 327.35, a boat operator is guilty of a crime if he/ she is under the influence of alcohol/ mental [music] illness to the extent that his/ her ability to operate the boat is impaired or has a blood alcohol concentration [music] of greater than equals 0.08%. First offense $500 [music] $1,000 0 cash fine and 6 months in imprisonment. [music] be arrested for BUI and having children under 18 on board. The incident highlights the dangers of [music] drunk driving, especially when children are present and shows that no one is immune from the law, including law enforcement. Next, right on the city sidewalk, a group of people holding banners are suddenly approached by the police, but what makes them threatened with arrest [music] in just the first few minutes. >> The uh the code enforcement >> city sidewalk. >> Could you show it to us? >> No, you're not. >> You can look it up because you should have got a permit. We don't need a permit. The Constitution is our permit. We don't need a permit out here. >> So, what do you what do you what is your demand? >> Disperse. >> Do you realize that that puts you in league with only a handful of >> No warrant, no law, just a [music] cold command? Disperse or you will all be handcuffed? Was this law enforcement or arrogance [music] of power? >> Gentlemen, you can remove the signs or you can come with me. Up to you. >> Uh, officer, we are the Bloodstain Men. We believe we have a constitutional right to uh hold signs in public. >> Okay. Well, it's vulgar >> and it affects other people. >> The ACLU has the ACLU has defended our right to protest >> for skin and penis on your signs. Officer, >> officer, I suggest you call the city attorney before you push your your uh your viewpoint on further than this. >> I'm telling you to pack it up and move. If you refuse to disperse, you'll be arrested for disorderly conduct. >> Who will you arrest? Me or all of us? >> All of you. And you and how many officers are you gonna bring out? Don't worry, there's more coming. >> So, you were saying we don't have a right to protest in this town? >> Not here on a city sidewalk. >> Could you show us this the uh the code enforcement? >> City sidewalk. You can look it up because you should have got a permit before. >> We don't need a permit. The Constitution is our permit. Also, >> we need a permit out here. >> So, what do you what do you what is your demand? Do you realize that that puts you in league with only a handful of cities? We've been over 500 cities across the United States. >> Time to go. I'm telling you to go or we can do it my way. Up to you. >> Why do you say it's your way? Who Who ordered you to do it? So, you're doing it on your own? >> We got Because of this. >> The protesters did not give up. They demanded what few people dared. Specific law quotes right on the spot. And the police's response [music] will shock you. >> You have blood on your crotches. >> Laws, officer. We are not breaking any laws. We have a constitutional right to protest. We have a constitutional right to protest in the United States. [music] Were you Were you raised in the same country I was raised in? We have a constitutional right. >> So you're refusing to disperse. >> I didn't say that. We're talking. >> No, no, no. >> I want to see I want to see the legal citations. Now, what do you mean by disperse? >> Go back to your vehicles. Pack it up. >> Can we Is there a Who is your duty officer? Who's your duty lieutenant? >> Our duty lieutenant on >> Who is in charge? >> Probably a B shift. [music] >> We would like to talk to someone higher than you, officer. We feel that you're making a head. >> Well, you can put the signs in your vehicle till the duty lieutenant shows up. >> We're not blocking the sidewalk. >> You're on the sidewalk. >> We We do not block you because we do not block. What I'm saying is, "All right, Mike, move over a little bit so that they can't claim that we're blocking the sidewalk." >> If you're not on the sidewalk, then you're going to be on so property. >> We are not going on private property. Officer, should you please bring And now you're on. >> Can you please bring your uh >> They're already on their way. whoever's in charge >> because I'm willing to talk to you, but we we are firmly convinced that we have a constitutional right to do this. >> Okay? Because >> the ACLU the ACLU will back us up on that. >> We have This is [music] day four. We were at Orchard Park earlier today. >> Yeah. How'd that go? >> Then came the surprising accusation. Someone reported you guys were exposed. Was this the truth or a ploy to silence the protests? All right. The police didn't bother us a bit. We were in lots of uh David, what what other cities? >> We were in Orchard Park this morning. We were in uh >> the big city. >> We were in Oni yesterday. >> It was reported that you guys were exposing yourselves. Was anybody exposing their >> absolutely false officer said that someone called and said that we were exposing. >> That is absolutely false, officer. Absolutely false. I've been doing this for 11 years. Uh several years ago, someone called >> tell you what it was reported. >> I understand that and I and I believe you because it happened before >> and but but we're not insane. >> Nobody Are you with that? No one was exposed. >> Absolutely not. >> Absolutely not. That that that would we are not lunatics officer. [music] >> No, I No, I understand you got that. I'm not saying you don't. That's the only issue would be obviously if there was any >> exposing yourself. Officer, we we've been doing this for 11 years. >> We've been doing this for 11 years, officer. We pride ourselves on getting along with the cops. We have cops in our >> In the end, no arrests were made, but what was left on camera, a stain on power or evidence for an upcoming sensational lawsuit. >> Oh, sure you have. >> Oh, thank you. Um, people with four. Um, yes. And bloody croc. They're on the sidewalk. They do not have their pants down around their head. No, just uh just the words, the verbiage. Okay. All right. Thank you. Good God. Where is he? Benny 37. Oh my god. Citizens may sue public officials for violating their constitutional rights. [music] Pursuant to 42 US code SS1983, the individual/organization [music] may be required to pay restitution to the injured party. In severe or intentional cases, punitive damages [music] may be ordered. Additionally, the court may order the losing party to pay the plaintiff's attorney fees [music] and litigation costs. A technology driver was working normally when suddenly his car was stopped for an unexpected reason. >> I was driving lift. [music] So where where I was coming from, I can't really tell you because that's somebody else's personal care regardless [music] of anything. >> It's not a traffic stop. Why you >> why but why is the investigation? >> Domestic violence, right? They found no evidence but tried to extract [music] personal information from an innocent person. When they received no answer, a cold sentence rang out, starting a power [music] play. >> What's up? >> What's up? >> You tell me. What's the reason? >> Can I explain myself? >> What's the reason? >> Okay, I pulled you off cuz it was a domestic vehicle. Silver Honda Accord. >> This is a dark silver Honda Accord. And I'm not doing [music] domestic violence because you stopped me and I'm middle driving lift. So how could I be in the domestic violence? >> I was just asking. I see you don't got no female in here. I was >> Damn, bro. She >> I get back to work. So I'm coming from dropping somebody off and going to pick somebody else up. >> I'm saying where you dropped them off at. >> If I wasn't in a domestic, there's no female in the car, right? >> Yeah. >> So that would say that I'm apparently doing something. And why does that even matter? >> What street, sir? >> Why does that matter? I'm trying to see what street you came from. >> Why does that matter? Which boat? >> Ain't Wasn't you just right there where you pulled up and then you seen me coming down uh the dark silver Honda Accord? >> Matter. It don't matter. Still >> I was driving lift. So where where I was coming from, I can't really tell you because that's somebody else's personal crib. >> Okay. >> Regardless of anything, what you walk up and just say and I'm showing you an active ride. >> All right, it's cool. Stand by. You just watch me. >> Watch me. >> Are you aware of the aware of the situation? >> I don't care about it. >> Ain't got nothing to do with me. I should have grabbed some napkins at that. >> This ain't even a traffic stop. The person you dropped off, the [music] last person. >> I I can't even tell you that. I mean, go make this more difficult. [music] >> I can't tell you that >> this isn't a traffic stop, so why am I being held up like this? The driver protested, but only received threats and excuses. [music] And then every little defect on the car began to be picked apart. >> You're talking the area that you were in cuz I seen you pull up, right? And the domestic [music] violence was in this area, right? I was not even in this area. I I can't I can't tell you because once the ride is over, I don't have the information. You don't have this is not a traffic stop. It's not a traffic stop. Why? >> Why? But why want Why is this >> traffic stop? >> How does the investigation know >> domestic violence, right? Domestic violence, right? [music] >> I'm telling you. Listen, I can't tell you the name because once the ride is over, the information is gone. That's the best thing I can tell you. >> Your driver's license. >> No, you wildly. Look, I'm getting texts now. Hey, you going what you going? You going just want to check my name. See if you find you not. I'm a good person. We can make this a [music] traffic stop. >> Can't make nothing a traffic stop. That there's nothing illegal. >> Yeah. >> That's secondary. >> Kim right there. Legal. >> That's crazy. Yo, >> I just gave you two things right there. >> This is literally they tell us to do this for safety. >> Still legal. >> Soal. >> That just makes no sense though cuz it's like you want to bother somebody that's telling you the truth. Can you uh show me anything of saying or showing that there is a domestic violence in the area? >> You think that we were closer to the car? >> I don't trust none of y'all, especially after this right here. I would never trust you. >> That's fine. You think? >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to leave you behind. >> I don't really care if you do or don't. >> Is there any evidence of the domestic violence you speak of? [music] The question seems simple, but the answer is a shake of the head. >> You think we're going to pull you over the way she The way she just the way she just did it. near various things. >> The way she just did it, >> I don't know how she was a domestic violence, but actually somebody calling said they were trying to force her into the car. >> Then why she say [music] domestic violence then? >> That's how that's how works. Put it in >> force them in the car. That's good. >> I did. I g I gave her direct information. I can't give you somebody whereabouts like information. >> She just asked me the name of the person, right? >> We need the first name. That's all we need. I could >> even if I was even if I was able to go back to the ride, there's no information. You know what I'm saying? Like there's nothing there for me to be like, "Yo, this person there's no address. There's no name. There's just this the area that I was in." And the silver hide the accord. Was it a small one? Did they say a year? That's wild. I mean, most people know these are easy bodies. This a 2015. They got the 2010 you see around here a lot. Then you got like the 99 [music] you see around here a lot. A lot of people like to have a 99 Honda. >> You think I'm person? >> Uh right. Uh I'm downtown. [music] Somebody so-called tried to push somebody in a car and they had a Honda Accord. So they pulled me over. >> I don't know. I mean, like I said, they pulled me over because they think or they somebody in [music] the same type car apparently tried to force somebody into a car. >> I can't cancel it. If you want to cancel it, you would have to cancel it. >> No, I can't. >> I can't cancel it. >> After nearly 15 minutes of being held, the passengers were lost, the income was lost, and the driver was sent off [music] with a curt sentence. continue working >> who knows how long for nothing. This is about to be an accurate situation. Where is That's it. How many days like this? You take all day for this, y'all. to bother somebody. They ain't got nothing to do with that. >> You going to say continue working? >> You too, bro. >> Silly [ __ ] >> The incident demonstrates [music] abuse of power, violation of privacy, and failure to follow standard legal [music] procedures when there is no legitimate reason for an in-depth administrative check. There was no arrest, but the police action may constitute citizen harassment and should be monitored. Next, a seemingly normal border checkpoint is revealed [music] to have a hidden purpose under the guise of checking citizenship. People start filming and things are about to get out of hand. I >> I answered you before I even rolled the window down. I used >> Well, I didn't hear you answer that. I [music] can't tell this thing. The windows up. >> Are you United States citizen? >> My fault. I just like to be on United States citizens. I I just like to be on my way. >> The glass door was cracked open just a little. The answer was given, but the police [music] still wouldn't let it go. The longunning standoff began. Who was really breaking [music] the law here? >> How you doing, sir? >> I'm doing good. >> Oh, United States citizen. >> I I just answered that before I even rolled the window down. >> Was that? I >> I answered you before I even rolled the window down. >> Well, I didn't hear you answer the window up. >> Are you United States citizen? >> I already answered you. I don't think I have to answer more than once. I'd like to just be on my way. >> It's loud. There's a lot of sir. Are you United States citizen sir? I >> I'd like to be on my way. >> Sir, are you United States citizen sir? >> I'd like to be on my way. I answered [music] your question once. I I don't want to talk to you. I didn't make it noisy. I didn't make it noisy outside for you. Somebody else did. That's not my problem. It's not my fault. I just like to be on my way. >> United States citizen. Sir, >> I I just like to be on my way. Sir, may I go? >> Sir, you're stopping traffic right now. >> I'm not trying to stop traffic. You just Can I go? >> No. You're going to park right there. And so until you answer a question, it's going to be right there. I'm going to park right there and somebody will meet you there outside. All right. >> By that ladder right there? >> Yes, sir. That's where you're going. >> Right there. Yes, sir. >> All traffic. >> I have answered. The [music] people firmly kept silent in accordance with their right, but the police did not accept that the law is [music] being bent right at the border. >> I'm not going to sit here and repeat myself over and over and over again. >> You wouldn't answer the question. >> I did answer the question. I told him I answered the question. He says he can't hear. I don't want to speak to you guys. I answered your question. I'd like to be on my way. >> If you didn't answer the question to answer, you're going to stay here until you answer the question. >> I did answer the question. I I'm done done talking. You know, if I'm under arrest or if I'm being detained, do what you got to do. I'll comply with any laws of order you give me. It's not my fault. It's noisy outside. You know, if if that's a problem for you guys, you should do something about the question. Do you want to put yourself in a situation where you're going to have to sit here and sit here when you can just answer a simple question? I'm just doing what the Supreme Court says we should do. They said citizens should not answer questions from law enforcement. >> You're going to continue to detain me even though I already answered it. >> Put spikes in front of every vehicle. You're not going to be able >> Well, that I'm not going anywhere till you tell me I can go. >> I'm a law-abiding citizen. >> That's the question. >> I buy when you try to talk to [music] me. I >> I understand. Okay. It's just frustrating. You know, >> that's frustrating to ask because look, it's a very simple question >> and it's not a lot to ask for [music] you to answer that question. >> I've already answered the question. I only have to answer it one time. >> Okay. Well, [music] you let get somebody's attention when you're ready to to talk to me. But in the meantime, you get the spikes. >> I got it. >> I said you don't need spikes. I'm not going anywhere until you tell me I can go home. I don't break the law. >> When all arguments [music] were no longer valid, people turned to hot dogs and apple pie to answer. The checkpoint [music] now turned into a strangely tense battle of wits. >> I got a camera right there that says idea. >> No, hold on. I'll wait for the truck to go. >> You said you had answered the question. I cannot hear you. It's very noisy with [music] the ancient waters. I have to establish the ship and hear you tell me. Just cuz you said you told me and I didn't hear you. >> I can't hear you. That's why I asked. >> I can't play back without my computer. difficult. I >> I'm not being difficult. I'm just checking the building out. But I [music] was just saying the ID thing is what I'm talking about. >> Right. I'm You're on the camera cuz it follows me where I live, right? So, if you weren't [music] directed that way, that's >> for sure. Then the camera's not pointing at you. That's fine with me. I I don't I'm I'm not here for you. I don't need you on my camera. >> But you're in my office and I'm on the clock and I'm supposed to do what I'm supposed to do. That's the thing. Well, what are you supposed to do, man? I don't have to identify myself to you. I'm not going to identify myself. >> But you're in here. [music] >> Well, that's not what you asked in the beginning. I'm >> Yes, I did. I I tried several times. I don't want you to leave. >> Okay. Thank you. I would like you to leave, too. >> I wish I could. >> I bet. I bet. It's almost time though, right? I appreciate you. Well, kind of. If you were a little bit more [music] nice, it would be nice. >> You walk in. I mean, it's a witness right here. But I have a witness right here that doesn't lie and has the [music] whole thing. >> So, she's calling Tamika. This is crazy. >> There you go. >> But you're recording me. >> You have to learn your policies. >> See, I told you they just don't know. >> Not arrested, not fired, but about to sue both the post office and the police department. an unexpected ending from a seemingly harmless situation. >> Um, it's four. I have to close at four o'clock. It's 4 or 4 and he's waiting here making the customers uncomfortable. That's >> That's because you said I'm waiting for your boss to do my Freedom of Information Act and you guys are supposed to be doing that. So, I know. Are you guys going to take it? You can easily say no and then I'll you'll get a letter from my lawyer. [music] >> Right. You have to write, >> right? I'm giving it to you verbally. You write >> say verbal. Maybe you guys can explain. She's hostile as hell. [music] So, >> are you guys gonna deny the Freedom of Information Act request? If you guys are, I'll be on my way. >> But I I'll file litigation. Are you going to deny the request? And then we'll just file litigation. >> Real simple. >> At least this. >> Are you going to deny? Are you going to take the request or not? If you deny, then we'll [music] go with it. If you guys are having me leave and not take it, that's a denial by law. So I asked for the request an hour told me wait cuz my postmaster is coming. Then he says the postmaster is not coming. Can I do the request or not? So I can be on my way. >> So do you want to write it down? I don't know about it and I don't know enough about what you're >> write it down. I'm on my way. You guys forward it to your boss. [music] You don't have to do anything else besides take the request, forward it to your boss. This could have been solved. The [music] police didn't need to be here to solve this issue. Okay. I have to tell you what I'm doing with my job. >> So, tell me what I need to write. >> Okay. [music] So, this is the Hey, nobody's doing nothing for views. >> You don't know what you're talking about, bro. You guys are dismissed. We don't need you guys. Yeah. So, I'm going to get every employee here that works in this front office's uh full name. >> Full name. >> Mhm. >> The filmmaker threatens legal action if the foyer is not granted and warns of the lack of training and knowledge of both USPS employees and police. The video ends with a clear message about the need to respect and protect civil rights, especially freedom of the press and access to [music] public information. Next, a stranger shows up with a camera and instantly causes chaos in the office. But who's really breaking the rules here? >> Yeah. >> Nice meeting you. You wouldn't mind if I got your name attached, would you? >> Surveillance cameras are allowed, but citizen cameras are banned. The truth begins to emerge when employees demand to call the police. >> I just spoke to Adam. Who are you? >> My name is >> Your name is >> Selvin. >> Selvin. I just told Adam I didn't need help. You didn't hear me? >> No, I didn't. >> Okay. >> Oh, I'm just taking some pictures and video. I'd rather not say it this time. >> Well, you can't just kind of be lingering. I guess you're doing >> what lingering. I don't know what the definition of lingering would be. >> If you're not doing anything here, >> yeah. >> Oh, there's a bunch of cameras. >> Oh, so your cameras are okay from my camera. It's a problem. >> I would like to go about my business. That's okay. Okay. Well, I'm going to unpack just in case you're making everybody come together. >> I've been here for a total [music] of 2 minutes and I have >> and I have a and there's a bunch of cameras that are recording me. There's one right above your head right there. Anyway, >> my name is Sean. My name is Sean. >> Sean? >> Yeah, Sean. Give me your name, I'll give you mine. That's not an issue. So, we have renewals over here. Just gathering some content for a story. A lot of you say that I talk too much to the employees. That's why I'm like, you know what? So, we're going to wait here and [music] see what they're talking about. It's kind of weird to me that I asked the officer for his name and badge number. And he says, "Well, what can I help you with?" Well, you can help me with your name and badge number. Officer, I would appreciate that. Officer Moose, 1648, Lincoln Police Department.
