This is Gabriel Giles. She's running to become a council member later on this year, and recently she got arrested for domestic battery. Now, here's where things get interesting. She's not even in power yet, and she tried to silence a journalist transparency body cam by filing a bogus privacy complaint on his video. So, I'm proud to introduce you to a new series on this channel, which is a collaboration with Barbra Streisand, and we're going to call it the prime Streisand effect. Every time there is a Karen who tries to maliciously get her body cam removed from the internet by filing bogus privacy complaints, I'm going to do my part, I'm going to react to it, and I'm going to amplify its reach. If you like that idea, make sure that every time you see a video titled like Karen doesn't want you to see this video, Karen tries to remove this video, make sure you click on it, watch it a couple times, leave a comment, leave a like, because they really hate it that this evidence is out there. Now, without further ado, let's get started. Might be her. >> Hello. >> Is Gabrielle home? >> Um I mean Gabby? I don't know. Her car is there, but I'm not sure. Give me one second. >> Okay. Hi Gabby. >> Hi. >> You mind if I just come out here? >> Yeah, of course. >> Is your son home? >> No, he's in his bath. >> All right. Can you step down here? >> Yeah, what's going on? >> All right. So, listen, because of what happened last night, okay, you're you're being criminally charged with simple assault. >> Why? >> Because of what happened. A statement was provided and all that, so we have a warrant for your arrest right now. >> But I didn't touch anybody or anything. >> Listen, what what he said his he provided a statement and all that. So, we have to we have to Yes. >> touch him. >> Yes. So, can you please stand up? >> Can I put on underwear and clothes? >> Do you do you need all that stuff? >> I just don't have underwear on. >> Okay. Take a look at the expression on her face. She can't believe it. She absolutely is flabbergasted that she's actually going to face consequences for her actions. Now, here's the thing. This video is pretty interesting, but if she didn't try to get it removed from the internet, I don't think I would have covered it. I think it would have slipped under the radar. And that's why the Streisand effect is very real. Just recently, there was a YouTuber called the Internet Janitor who made an exposé documentary on Mr. Beast, the biggest content creator on the platform, and that video got taken down allegedly by Mr. Beast, which only brought attention to it. And that's the thing with the internet, it's forever and you cannot hide from the truth. >> Do you want to sit there again? >> All my clothes are in the laundry. Sorry. >> No worries. We're behind you. I'm going to go grab it. >> Okay. I'm sorry. I got to Yeah, I got to stand here with you though. >> Okay, that's fine. You think it's going to be cold in there? >> Um >> arrested because my baby daddy did one with my kid yesterday. >> No, I mean I don't explain anything to you. I was in in >> We yelled. We always yelled. We fought. But like there was nothing physical. >> Well, I think Well, I think they're going to read you your rights so you don't have to talk to me. I'm not asking you any questions right now. >> Okay. He's doing this because he was [ __ ] harassing me and that [ __ ] >> Well, what Listen, like I said, I'm not I'm not asking you any questions. That's fine. Just letting you know you don't have to talk to me. >> I'm talking to myself. Should I take my phone or not? >> Um yeah, grab your grab your phone. We're going to hold on to it for you. Um so I'll I'll take it, but um if you want to have it with you you can grab it. >> So so far there is something very unusual about this body cam. It's unlike most of the body cams we see on the internet. I'm not going to tell you exactly what I'm referring to because I want to see if you guys are able to pick up on it in the comment section. So let me know down below, write a comment, and let me know what you think is kind of off in this body cam so far. And in a few minutes I'll let you know my thoughts. >> It's slipping on my screen here. >> All right, got to get going. Just hand me your phone, please. >> All right, yeah. >> Thank you. All right, can you step out this way? All right. >> Can I turn off the light though? >> Yeah, I'll turn it off for you. >> Got it. So awkward. Oh, can I put my contacts on? I can't see. Or no? Um I mean, it I don't know if you have glasses, we're going to make you take them off anyway. >> I do, but they're in my car. >> Where are your car keys? >> My keys are back there. >> Okay. Um why don't we step out? If we need to uh grab a contact case or anything, we can address that after. >> You have to I don't I don't know. Do you want to talk to her? >> Yeah. >> You want me to close this? Do you want >> No. >> So, what I find rather unusual is the preferential treatment she's receiving right now, because usually when cops show up with a warrant, the person gets arrested immediately, handcuffed in the back, brought to the car, that's it. Now, in this case, they allowed her to go inside, change her clothes. Next thing you know, she's going to want to ask for a shower. Maybe they should give her a foot massage while they're at it. I feel like they're treating her very differently than the average citizen. That's just my opinion, but let me know what you think about that down below, because this is just off. She is given the white glove treatment. >> So, got to put you in handcuffs. We're going to do it. Yes, we're going to do it by the car to at least be discreet about it. Um So, base So I wasn't here last night. Simple assault. >> What does that even mean? >> We're going to go over here. >> The second one or the >> No, this is for from right here. Just go on this side. Hey, you can stop right here. >> Yeah. Oh, I actually have to take them off you and >> Can I just get in the car? Just call seat. >> Is it front or back? >> Behind. >> Oh, [ __ ] So what does that mean? >> So >> It was good. It's tight. Yeah, it's just weird. >> So based on what he reported, right? So I I wasn't I wasn't here last night. So based on what he reported, right? They came They came They tried to make contact with him and they couldn't. They then came here to speak to you. You gave them your side of the story. They were They were able to make contact with him, went back there, spoke to him. Um Let me Let me read you your rights first. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided to you by the court. A decision to waive these rights is not final and you may withdraw your waiver whenever you wish either before or during questioning. Do you understand these rights? So then he reported that I guess you had struck him in the face with a closed fist multiple times. When it comes to domestic incidents any domestic incident any domestic incident, right? You'll have You'll have your day in court and be able to go to court and explain your side and and and all stuff like that. >> You want to take a couple of steps towards the car for me? I got to I got to do a search on you and then we'll put you in the car. Um we get back to the car and then we got to do it one more time, right? Just want to get dressed. There's nothing. >> Can you show me clear? All right, I'll be right with you in there. >> Where is she? >> Like I said earlier, if she didn't try to shut down this video, I don't think it would have got the attention it's getting right now because she is very cooperative even though she's very entitled. Now, one thing that I want to clarify is the difference between a real privacy complaint and a malicious privacy complaint. Let me give you guys an example of a valid privacy complaint. Let's say there's a body cam out there on a specific individual and somehow the address is in the video or a credit card number or their social security number. That is private information and it shouldn't be on YouTube. So, in that case, that would be a valid concern from the user. Now, in this case, there is no private information. Her name is a public record. On top of that, she's trying to run for council which makes her a public figure. So, she has even less of a right to privacy than the average citizen. So, yeah, it was a very stupid move on her end and she should have thought about it first because not only is she running to become a council member, but she also has a small business, a bakery. Now, if it's shown that she's trying to silence a journalist, that could be bad for her business. >> Can you just want to stand for me a little bit? >> I can try. If my lawyer's number is in my phone >> Yeah, you got your phone with you so we can get a phone number out of your phone? >> I gave you my phone. >> What number? >> I don't even know what I'm supposed to do in this situation. I didn't touch the man. He had the kid. He wouldn't let the kid go and that's that. What? I'm not actually sure. >> Is it okay if she goes to look for it? >> Why? Did you say you need my glasses? >> Well, we're going to get your glasses for you. >> Oh. Oh. >> Is there an iPhone clear? >> I'll see. Just set it up like this. Like this. >> Yep. Can you help me get it up? >> Oh, I can't even like move my arms. And this this thing on my neck. >> Well, I'm going to unbuckle you in. All right? >> This really hurts. >> You guys have a dash camera? >> We actually just put I don't think the actual inside of the computer goes, so I don't know if that actually works. >> Try and hit it and see if the the back records. Is it working? It's red? Um hit the front camera too, then. Should say somewhere. Hopefully. >> The ride to the jail was rather uneventful. I think she knows that if she does a big song and dance and she starts freaking out, then she can kiss her career goodbye. By remaining respectful, she's at least maintaining some dignity, which is the right thing to do in this situation. But once again, any goodwill she may have earned by acting respectful is lost by trying to shut down this video. >> Should I turn this off now? Or does it turn off with the camera? Is that red up there? there. >> Oh, yeah. >> Oh, yeah. >> This way. >> Sorry. >> All right. >> I'm going in there. >> Oh, Jesus. Is this a female one? >> My first thought was like you know >> All right, come on over here. >> Do you have any of those? >> And you want me to take the cuffs off cuz she's been doing this all >> Oh, she's going to search you. >> You know what you can do with the cuffs in the back and then come 2:00 in the morning. Just put your little left hand on the wall for me, but you can leave it. >> I don't think so. I can't look at it. >> Yep. All right, same thing for your right hand. All right, I got to search you one more time. >> He's not even doing that [ __ ] >> Put your hands on the wall for me. >> Thanks. >> And that's it for Gabrielle Giles. She was with domestic battery. I'll keep you posted on this video. By the way, Sergeant Keys just dropped his third video, and this one you have to check it out because it's a 7-hour SWAT standoff, and Sergeant Keys himself was part of the SWAT team. So, he has unique insight that you won't find anywhere else. The link is on the screen right now, so go check out that video, and I'll see you guys on the next one.
