I didn't know I didn't even know that I could put this in a bag cuz I got to send it as evidence, right? Other than that, she said she's fine. Um I don't even know. I didn't get to that. >> The investigation is still ongoing. Officer Barrios heads inside the store to confirm exactly what was taken and finds out the entire confrontation was over a few packs of underwear. >> Britney, can I talk to you? Okay. I'm going to take you for resisting without violence, okay? So, you're all going to jail. Listen, I'm trying to work with you. Is that gloss yours? >> Yes. >> So, where's the stuff that you stole? Is it in the car? Yeah. So, you successfully stole it. You were in the car, but you all didn't get a chance to leave yet. Right? Is that what happened or no? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> All right. This is an itemized receipt of everything? >> This is. >> Okay. And it's up to 4170. Okay. So, we got the There was one that had a I think a baby blue and uh sweatpants. We got her. Um I don't know if she had anything on or she maybe stashed it. >> She I'm pretty sure she took it off cuz she changed clothes. >> Okay. >> So, she had a hoodie on and uh some sweatpants. It was Yeah, it was all stuffed inside the car. >> So, when she left here, did she still have the items? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, the items are out of the store right now somewhere. >> It went straight into the into that car. >> She went straight to the >> So, it's parked >> I actually didn't Give me 1 sec. Okay. So, here's what's the the deal. They're saying that some of the items that were taken are still in your car. So, right? So, Are they have possession of the vehicle? >> It's our >> Okay. All right. right. All right, no problem. So, all of the stuff that they if it isn't there it's going to go back. Okay. Okay. So, let me ask you this. So, when your daughter came back to the car, did she have anything with her? Okay. All right, let me just uh take a look and see. Okay, is this everything here? Just double-check for me. If this is everything that's on the >> Oh. No, there's more. And this. Okay, that's okay. A four pack and two socks. Yeah. >> That's everything that's on the So, let me take a picture of all that. Okay. And the cameras uh do they work in here? And do you have access to them? >> Yeah, we're trying to get them on. >> Okay. All right. 2413 and 16. >> Yes, sir. >> Your 10-15 is going to be an accessory to the 65 this 43. >> In police terminology, a 10-15 is a suspect in cuffs. A 10-65 is the transport unit taking them to jail. So, when an officer calls the suspect an accessory to a 65, they mean one thing. The cuffs are on, the investigation is over, and this suspect is officially along for the ride. >> Feel better? >> After a chaotic night, the transporting officer takes a surprising approach. Instead of lecturing Iyana, she offers some genuine advice about her future. >> Have you been working on trying to um get up with producers and stuff and get studio time? >> No. I just feel like everybody can't rap about the What my What am I going to do? >> Well, you're already defeating yourself before you start. So, you got to change that attitude right there. Because no one's going to want to hear you either if you don't rap with confidence and rap like you know you got something to tell. You can You can rap about something that sets you sets you apart. So, don't ever think that oh, well, there's other people doing it. What's why why would they want to hear me? There's plenty of singers and plenty of rappers. Plenty of everyone's There's plenty of everybody and everything. You get what I'm saying? So, don't have that negative attitude like rap like you the [ __ ] Rap like you you know that people want to hear you and don't matter if it's 50 11 other female rappers. You got You know what I'm saying? Like you got to know what's going to set you aside that's going to make someone want to hear you. Like do you write your own stuff? See? So, you got to you got to really take the energy that you use to write and to to do other stuff, put that energy into mastering your craft. And listen to who you don't want to sound like, listen to who you may want to sound like, come up with your own sound, and you can do whatever you want to do. Keep your head down, do school work, all that. Because you don't want to keep getting in trouble and now have a record to where now you're going to have have prior convictions and that's going to enhance the charge. So, you need to keep that in mind, too. If you If you have convictions and you're locked in up because you're a juvenile, but you ain't always going to be so lucky, especially if you don't keep doing it and you and you're adult. So, be mindful of that. Like, let this be an eye-opener and just just stop at this point. >> After the arrest, Brittany was charged with resisting an officer without violence. She was held on a $500 bond, which she later posted. She initially entered a plea of not guilty, but later changed her plea to no contest. She was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 6 months of probation along with $620 in court costs and fees. Just over a month into her probation, a violation affidavit was filed alleging she failed to pay her supervision costs and committed a new law violation for aggravated assault. She ultimately paid her financial obligations in full and the misdemeanor case was officially closed. [music] >> [music]
