no ma'am I have seen dogs die from living in these conditions I know I don't want them to live in these conditions oh I'm good with but we're going to take the dogs so we're not calling any more people we're not doing any more names we're taking these dogs we're going to start loading them on our vehicle if you want to sit in your friend's vehicle while we do this I I'd just like you to be out of the way while we're doing this why don't you go get your dinner this is a nightmare to get out of there it's broken so close that CL that get the snare hi this is officer edar with Kent County Sheriff's Department Animal Control division I'm just calling regarding a report of a vehicle with 19 dogs in it um I am at the listed address that you provided and I'm just wondering if the person may have relocated or if you have any additional information on this individual that would help us in for she was at the auto place behind Walmart they moved her over under the tarp under flower land worked on the brakes and when I talked to her personally last night she was at the dollar storees and she wasn't sure where she was going to go find a place to sleep last night she's driving a red silado pickup with a Topper on it and she's got the topper tied the hatch to the top or tied down to the frame underneath the vehicle so it can't be open she's had a bunch of dogs in the cab of the truck with her and it really stinks in there and it's been at least five days that he knows of since they've been out to go to the bathroom hey you guys need to you guys need to go please you're going to ruin our whole thing you're going to ruin exactly what we're here doing please go inside we have people coming to fix this there's at least 12 in there minimum and that's what I can see these people are [ __ ] idiots go inside especially if she can see yes thanks you guys just blue you blew our whole our whole operation they're you're living in your car right now no no no I'm not living in my no no so these guys got a place to get out and go to the bathroom and everything yep okay I'm seeing some feces in there what are you doing about that oh I clean I they must have just did it I uh got plastic bags and I got uh wies and a thing and I cleaned it up yeah and how many are in there huh how many are in here I have a a couple of them yeah but I don't want to undo that Ro yeah until I get to my destination yeah you have a couple dogs in here well a couple to me yeah how many how many exactly here about 7 just in here yeah I'm going over to my uh friends who's your friend you're going where where's your friend I was stopping over at and then um I was heading out stop okay and when I was just going over there we were just meeting here then we were going over there okay and where's where's her house what was that the plan I know we were meet for dinner forth okay you didn't have plans for her to come with we didn't discuss that I didn't know she was planning on that honestly to stop over yeah then I go over to my friend uh your do you live at your friend no I'm just passing through okay so where do you where do you live uh I live down okay and when did you get up here um about a week ago we and a half ago something like that okay okay and how many dogs in total do you have um I have uh seven and I got the fourans and hi so seven dogs just in this yeah four Pomeranians up front mhm okay I counted I counted more than four up here there's four four Pomeranians in the M okay there was two it looks like puppies in that cage and then this bigger one yeah so seven up here too yeah okay do you have um any vaccination paperwork or anything yeah where's that at um I you have to be able to provide that to us yeah I have it um in the back and then I I just went to the vet and um I have that and then my other friend has got the uh other papers for the other two okay okay is that what you're feeding them right now yep mhm okay yep yep and then I got water I got water in the back too just in the back no I got water up here and then I feed them the water where's where's the water for them I got it on the other side I just emptied out the other water and I got the other water on the other yeah there's quite a bit of Fes back there I'm seeing uh that do you know M no I don't see any water either I don't see on the other side over there I just ma'am we there's not any water accessible to these dogs there's a significant amount of feces in here and not a single water ball back here for these dogs mhm I usually I take it out I usually use the uh can my friend and I okay earlier you know I gave them water and then they drink us if not it spills all over the okay like I said they have to have access to water 24 hours a day for it to be lawful okay and they do not have access to water right now I don't see any of them wearing any licensing tags are they licensed yeah do you have the paperwork to prove I have it in my green bag and I had it on my phone can I see it I can pull it up y for each dog Yep this is unbelievable that smell there's nothing in there no we got to we got to take these dogs okay do you understand why we're worried I always feed and water my dogs always carry water in with me do you understand why we're worried though yeah because they always need water and food Y and and this is not appropriate living conditions for an animal no we're not I'm not living I'm just you know transform yeah so these dogs have been living in here for about 5 days no they haven't when was the last time you cleaned out your truck and got the poop out of there um this morning that's you know that's a lot of feces for a day your dog's leg is stuck here is pinned between the why did you do that probably there's there's not a lot of room in there I don't know how she did that let me get so the reality of the situation is that this is extremely unsanitary okay I can see that the seats are saturated with feces there's feces packed down throughout your vehicle I can tell that their feet are covered in feces there shouldn't be yeah there is there is off ma'am I I saw it with my own eyes there's feces all throughout your vehicle okay this is concerning okay I understand if you don't view it that way oh no I don't like that feces all over I I pick it up and I and I clean it and okay yeah so when we're looking at the law um it it is against the law for your animals to be kept in this type of situation okay whether this is just for the hours throughout the daytime and at night they go running around it's still unsanitary and it's still against the law they don't have any access to water at this time they they don't appear to be well exercised we're going to be taking the dogs no no ma'am no that's not what he said ma'am I just spoke with him no we're we're not going to play this game okay I don't want to play this game that's what these dogs need to be checked out by our vet they need to get out of this environment they're going to start getting respiratory heill dis God yeah I don't so we need to take these dogs no don't do that to me it's the best thing for the dogs no it's not permanent yeah it's not they just got to go down and be checked out the everything's okay because it's it's unsanitary the way they're living yeah don't no ma'am I have seen dogs die from living in these conditions I know I don't want them to live in these conditions oh I'm good with but we're going to take the dogs so we're not calling any more people we're not doing any more names we're taking these dogs we're going to start loading them up into our vehicle if you want to sit in your friend's vehicle while we do this I I'd just like you to be out of the way while we're doing this why don't you go get your dinner this is night
