criminals often think they can outsmart the police but this usually ends very badly we also have a woman who swatted a Walmart store to distract the police officers who had come to arrest her and her boyfriend the you didn't know what to do so you thought you'd call 911 and make a false report I didn't know what to do we have yet another one who loves to give false information but first meet the most polite criminal ever the police stopped this young man because he didn't have a rear license plate in a visible place he started acting strangely which aroused the suspicions but the young man was a top-notch liar so even the police officers weren't sure whether he was lying or telling the truth hey but where's your plate at oh it's in the window oh it's all the way down that's why you put me over I'm so sorry I didn't see the plate I'm so sorry whose plate mine I just bought this car okay you have the get it up there do me a favor just pull up a little bit love you just bought a from the dealership yeah oh [Applause] okay that's good I just didn't watch to blocking the entrance there do you have a license with you yeah I do okay do you have any paperwork say you just bought it or anything uh it might be at home cuz I've been at home a lot you remember what dealership you got it from uh yeah it's on the plate but yeah I mean oh any E Auto yeah okay did they give you that play or yeah why' they give it to you they gave me 45 days so instead of giving you a temp tag they they gave you that yeah they're not supposed to do that but I'm not going to penalize you for something that not done I got to pick up my wife from the airport okay you have a license yeah I got a license right yeah it's supposed to give you a temp tag not a dealer plate dealer plate are only for employees okay so but like I said I'm not going to com you for that thank you sir all right we give me a minute we get you on your way how's that you run a dealer plate for me it's a series 005 let's to A&E auto service and sales Cleveland Shows the expiration is 331 of 2023 and there's 15 plates in the series dealer plates are typically used by dealership employees for business purposes such as test drives or moving Vehicles between Lots they are not meant for customers who have purchased a vehicle that's why temporary tags are for those tags are used until their permanent registration and plates arrive also the dispatch reported an open traffic issue suggesting there is an unresolved traffic related matter associated with the driver due to all this the police officers have become very skeptical and their first priority now is to ensure that the driver doesn't flee and then they will proceed with further investigation do you have the keys or no I I don't have them Tyler's going to stolen hey how you doing this is investigator picking from lakid PD um speaking to a gentleman who apparently you guys sold a car to um I'm trying to figure out why he has a dealer tag instead of a temp tag as a plate tag number is he's got the keys okay there's a police report Cleveland okay thank to all right I'll call you back bye don't do anything funny and step out of the car now step out resisting arrest and receiving stolen property or RSP receiving stolen property refers to the offense of acquiring Goods that one knows or has reason to believe are stolen Criminal charges can vary in severity depending on the value of the stolen property and the jurisdiction's laws it can range from a misdemeanor for lower value items to a felony for higher value Goods such as cars but this is not at the address they only found Kaylee who was wanted and she claimed that her partner Justin was not at home however she refused to leave the house and was seen talking on a mobile phone the officers then received information from dispatch that someone had reported a man entering a nearby Walmart with a weapon this turned out to be a desperate attempt by Kaye to divert the police away from her house yeah I can see her moving around in here 7 giving her a couple commands to come out she's verbally talking with us but has yet to exit the building she's on the phone when I saw her right [Applause] here K open the door so I can talk to you okay I don't want to break your Grandma's door okay but I will okay hold on Tiffany who is this what are you doing yes what are you doing it's a cop what are you I'm here talking with with her come on in don't the door open all right what are you doing well she's got to come with us we got some questions for her what do I have a felony warrant number that keeps popping up on your phone is my dispatcher calling you wondering who the number was yeah that's the number that called because you called from this number K can we go talk in the kitchen for a second so listen to me for a second no no put the phone down I want you to listen and pay attention Okay Kaye claims she did not make a false report to the police even though dispatch called her number several times and she persistently declined the calls in front of the officer if you're curious about the call itself it went like this 911 what's the location of your emergency um I just had a call from my daughter she's at the Walmart and tunnel she said there's someone in there with a gun okay and what's he doing with the gun she doesn't know she freak out the bathroom lock the door did she get a description of him um he said he a white guy short blonde hair black pants okay and how did she know how did she see that I don't know I don't know she just called me okay hold on hold on one second okay and how did you describe him she said he was short and white she said blonde hair glasses and black T can you get the information from the daughter and find out if now back to Kaye okay while we were here you were inside refusing to come out yes okay okay you're allegedly making phone calls okay what why did you call 911 and report that somebody was at Walmart with a gun well I was told that but I was in a hurry I I didn't even do it I to be honest with you I've had about 5 minutes of a blackout since you guys have been here and remember nothing okay so back up let's back up to when we when we knocked on the door and made contact with you here you knew the police were here and we were going to come in to arrest you y I was on the phone Justin why did you call 911 and report that your daughter called you to report that there was a man at the Tomo Walmart with a gun ibly because I was panicking okay do you know that that's a crime and that's called swatting no I did not know that yeah that's something that to elicit a large police response to a location I assume you probably did that believing that we were going to take off no and just be honest with you I have a lot of I'm not in my right okay I'm just freaking out I my grandma can't be here by herself I didn't know what to do and then I you didn't know what to do so you thought you'd call 91 and make a false report I didn't know what to do I called 911 and I was going to say something and then I was talking to my daughter on the house phone and she starts screaming at me where's the house phone in my room well it was in my room it's in the living room now there's one right here too okay does that show the recent calls no it doesn't do anything that phone sucks I'm more concerned than I'm sorry I don't even know what I'm more concerned with the fact that you called 911 to report that somebody was at Walmart with a gun okay that elicits one a large amount of resources to respond to a place two it's a false police report okay yes you're inciting Panic yes okay and three it's a crime I'm sorry I didn't I don't even remember doing it I don't even remember I'm sorry I I wish I could tell you I remember doing it and I don't so you don't remember dialing 911 and then talking to a dis I have it on my call log this is my boyfriend is that Justin yeah okay so 125 can you talk for 4 minutes yep okay so go back and then at 1:30 so 5 minutes later full 5 minutes soon as I got off the phone as soon as you got off the phone you made a one minute phone call to him swatting is a deceptive call to Emergency Services typically to report a serious incident such as a hostage sit situation shooting or other violent crime with the aim of provoking a large-scale response from law enforcement usually a SWAT team depending on the jurisdiction and the severity of the incident swatting can result even in significant prison sentences so Kaye that was a very dumb move while reviewing the call history the officer noticed that Kaye had called Justin several times while the police were at the door additionally she repeatedly glanced towards a shed in the yard leading the officers to decide to check if Justin might be hiding there is Justin in the gar no's not here positive cuz I'm positive give us permission to check the property you can check the garage he's not here yeah I was watching officer bail jumping and false emergency 911 call in this latest case the suspect thought she could outsmart the police officer by giving him false information but her plan backfired in the worst possible way she got into a conflict with another woman in traffic which led to the police being called the officer first questioned the suspect and she had the following to say what did you follow me for what did you follow me for listen I'm trying to to me hey hey talk to me okay we just got a call about you I'm here to figure this out Miss weigh in your car for me okay please her wait in the car cuz I please all right so what's going on today I we got a call about you driving and almost hitting her that's what I call what happened was I'm trying to come through traffic right okay where's your around before I H which way were you going I was coming this way I'm trying to get lunch I'm at work right now officer okay look you understand that right now traffic's pretty crazy all right on my way here all right I had to hit the brakes about 10 different times due to the traffic yeah I'm but that's my only vehicle okay you she was slaming on the brakes and then what happened after that I had to go around her before I hit her okay I mean you you understand you got to you understand that right now traffic is insane you got to understand people are driving slow do you have your idea on breaking in front of her she claims that she just passed her to avoid an accident however now the police officer needs to question the other person involved to hear the other side of the story also if you noticed at the beginning when Renee had her phone on a female voice can be heard calling her by a different name name I did okay well how did what did you see from your so she was behind me all the way down past Plymouth and she Chicago yeah that from that um so she was behind me um she jumped out from behind me hopped to the left turn lane jumped right in front of me on the Hing my car jumped back out of that came from there into the right lane cut all the way back over into the turn lane drove all the way down the turn lane and then whipped over again okay so she almost hit my car which is the original reason I I got you I'm going to get you wit statement just pretty much explain what happened from your end okay from adz pretty much okay so give me a second I'll be right back okay I don't understand how she called the police and she started all this what's the point she just trying to get she called the police please call my manager just hold on to can I call my manager and let her know that I'm in trouble because I well you're not necessarily in trouble we have to investigate this okay he go ahead last of young comment spelling first Renee the police officer is now checking her details and realizes that she lied to him meanwhile Renee is talking on the phone and again a voice can be heard calling her by a different name all Miss what's your real name what's young I don't have yes okay well why' you tell me a wrong a fake name because I thought I was a trouble officer I'm so sorry well the fact here's the thing is when we get a call about reckless driver we investigate it typically we just get everything information we get both sides of the story and then we imported it to our traffic Bureau but do now you are in trouble now because you provided me a fake name okay all right hang up the phone for me I don't think I'm coming back to work all right all I me your phone face the car right here put your hands behind your back phones together Rashana was arrested for providing false information and during the arrest the officer also found out that she had a warrant for assault in another part of the city and that her vehicle insurance had expired as well I'm going to get booked on these charges you got a warrant for assault out of this outf so once we get to the jail after your book you get them that checked on after we get all that figured out okay Southfield doesn't want you you'll be released from our custody if they do want you you'll be going with Southfield okay I already told you the car doesn't die Insurance technically car we could we don't do it all the time but if your car isn't doesn't have insurance it can't be on the roads for this reason rana's car was placed on a tow truck while Rashana was on her way to jail check
