On July 18th, 2023, at approximately 5:22 p.m., the Baraboo Police Department responded to a serious two-vehicle crash at County Highway T and City View Road. Behind the wheel of one of those vehicles was Brittany, who claimed her brakes had suddenly failed before she [music] blew through a stop sign. As officers began speaking with her, they quickly noticed something that suggested this crash may have occurred as a result of a different reason. >> I don't know. >> If uh >> I don't know what I don't know what So, I don't >> If it skidded, it's going to leave marks. So, you either weren't paying attention and you just didn't see the stop sign and you ran through it. >> Oh, no. I was paying attention. >> So, I'm going to go over there and check for skid marks. If it's not there, you are going to be in trouble. >> No, no.
