pregnant was bad it was nothing compared to our next case on December 28th 2022 in Washington a police officer was on patrol when he came across a stolen vehicle parked in front of an apartment complex while he was assessing things a pregnant woman became frustrated with the presence of police although she appeared to have the keys to the vehicle she denied it belonged to her this your car this your car huh your boyfriend where's your friend at are they here do you have the key huh who just made it do the alarm what's his name you can't tell me his name okay I'm filming too just so you driving in this car so where's the guy that was driving it things aren't looking so good for our suspect although she admitted her possessions were in the vehicle and that she occasionally drove it she claimed it belong to a friend whose name she conveniently forgot it was pretty entitled of her to film the officer while he was busy digging through a stolen vehicle that was completely jam-packed with her possessions no it's not it's in a stolen car you're not getting it back it's in a stolen car you're not getting it back you're not getting the license way back you're okay it's going with the car what kind of car is it for why is it in here doesn't match this car why would you put it why would you put it in a stolen car why would you put it in a stolen car M now what people like me causes scene the cops then questioned the landlord Who provided surveillance footage of the female suspect driving the vehicle after a brief search they called up with the woman on the street see it oh yeah admitted to borrowing the stolen vehicle from a friend however she refused to give the officer the identity of the man who had loaned it to her whether she was covering for someone or not is up to the evidence to decide so when you borrowed it did he give you a key did he give you a key he gave it to me um and also he gave permission didn't give me the key he gave you the key yes he did where's that at you have it is the one that you had in your hand yes that's the key what did he tell you bought the car um he said he just bought it that and we bought like he bought six cars and that was one of them bought it from somebody I'm not sure you buy a lot of cars all the time well yeah I've had 16 of my cars stolen you've had 16 of your car Sten yeah and say I'm saying does he have new cars a lot no uh we buy Ed cars we buy used cars so you and him together um I have to check it first yes what do you mean check it I have to I have to have paperwork I literally have a dealership I go work with um all my cars were from dealerships and they gave it to me or I earned it you gave it to they gave it to you you earned it yeah ones that were stolen yes but this these this time I'm buying cars off the streets those that are um have no use for or are like left over which we we used that to rebuild my old cars our suspect's story was getting very confusing and it became clear to the officers that she knew more than she was letting on fortunately for the suspect having a hunch is not a good enough reason to press charges and as a result the cops gave her one more chance to tell the truth okay so are you saying that you knew this car was stolen no I didn't know it was stolen you didn't know this car was stolen no I did not I don't B stoling cars okay so what led you to believe that this car was not stolen um I didn't care at the time and I was desperate to go home cuz at miss Christmas okay and I just wanted to go home and see my kids drop off the gifts which I need to get back with is in another stolen car I'm pretty sure that you were driving no no that somebody else was driving we were supposed to buy it we're supposed to buy it and we're just driving it it took them a day back day to get it back and now my stuff my my other person was over in there too so when I asked you who was driving the car how you said it wasn't you um why would you get in trouble I don't you're the one driving that car see last time I told the you I got in trouble and then I still got arrested well this time you lied and then you ran now you're still really at this point I really I don't know what to say sticking to her story she continued claiming that she didn't know the car was stolen still she partly confessed to lying about operating the vehicle icle but she only came clean when the cops told her they had video evidence ultimately the only charge she got was resisting arrest on the 16th of February 2022 police got a call from an electronic store about a woman who assaulted two employees after attempting to steal a phone charger when officers approached she refused to cooperate and attempted to leave the scene of the crime multiple times well we're going to talk to you we're going to talk I going to walk no you're going to stand right here what's the problem cool can you you going to go over there what was going on why you touching me am I being arrested you might be for what so you can chill so go ahead she came into the store she came in I know her crazy she said she want to buy a charger we she she had a car then we tried to run it okay then it declined then she walked away she walked outside then 2 minutes later she came back she said where's my charger I told her your card was declined so that's why you didn't get no charger right so she insisted on getting a charger without paying for it so after that she walked on the counter she came around the counter yes she want to get a charger uhhuh then I want to get her and you had to stop her yes then she attacked my coworker then she tried to attack me okay then she went outside then about 5 minutes later she came back oop hang on she went behind the counter tried to take the charger okay and how did he get attacked she had a a Windex bottle she took a Windex bottle from the counter okay and she attacked him in his eye as you see his there's no doubt about it walking around the corner to assault the employees is pretty Brazen the suspect might have gotten away with it but the clerk here was fed up although this wasn't his first encounter with her he was determined that it would be the last so 5 minutes later she came back same thing she went behind the counter she took that some Bri bottle and she tried to hit me and she tried to hit him as well then she took her wig off and tried to hit it with a her wig so second time she came back did she come back for the charger or just to hit you guys I guess she came here yeah she came back for both okay are you injured no no I'm were you hit I'm no I'm okay okay were you hit a second time just the one time with that you want to prosecute I don't care I just want her out of here and out of the street cuz she is crazy and she's always been crazy okay so you don't know if you want her to go to jail I mean if that's what it take yeah he can take it to jail either it's yes or it's no huh either there yes or no yes yes okay her to jail if she'd walked away after assaulting the employees the first time perhaps things would have been different but due to her crazy actions the clerk made it clear that he wanted to press charges as the cops attempted to inform the suspect that she was under arrest it became apparent immediately that she wasn't going to make things easy you know what I'm here for matter fact do have had a concealed weapon and getting into a scuffle in close quarters could prove deadly after being handcuffed she was placed in the back of a squad car to cool down hi Miss why am I being transported to jail she was charged with resisting arrest attempted robbery and battery on a law enforcement officer on the 10th of August 2022 police responded to a call about a shoplifting at Walmart the loss ition team apprehended the suspect after an employee overheard her bragging about the theft to an accomplice outside the store after reviewing surveillance footage the suspect was witnessed using a mobility scooter and a blanket to steal over $500 worth of merchandise went for it I mean it's a lot of stuff oh where' he come from he's behind me you you already gave him your name so when did she get B I don't know remember of that bag theirs this mine does that have stuff in it no I'm get an amount can we look through it you ever been arrested for shoplifting I don't remember arrested for shoplifting but it didn't take long for cops to determine that she was barred from the property for shoplifting last year although her accomplice The Man scene here wasn't in the store when the theft occurred the cops and the lost prevention team both had questions for him so she came out here with this stuff and you're out here helping her bag what's up with that she said she paid for it so she is she your girlfriend she she said she for I didn't I I know that you helped her back get out here though I mean but I mean for she said she paid for all right so I need you to listen what this lady has to tell you she's Walmart she's going to borrow you from here you look they don't have to have a reason okay they don't have to have a reason but if I really wanted to be anle I informing the man that he had to leave immediately the officer turned his attention to our pregnant suspect and took her back to the loss prevention office for further questioning unfortunately it became clear pretty quickly that the woman had no intentions of cooperating and answering questions looks like it's going to be over 500 anyway too late it's too late for one your b i for it huh my back you're saying you already paid for it yes where's the receipt I don't know well we're going to watch we we'll watch all that but it looks like you're Bor from here for one I didn't know that well it doesn't matter you are and then it looks like you also walked out of here with $500 worth of stuff and then as you look as you're going out you grabbed a stack of bags this lady saw that on video and you had a big stack of bags out there and then you went out there with him and y'all are putting this stuff in bags I mean it is what it is 16 on what 5060 are you serious you serious it's the woman claimed that she paid for the goods and she didn't know she was barred from the store it's one thing as to whe whether or not she was aware she was barred but as for her claim that she paid for the merchandise well the surveillance footage says otherwise the total value of the loot was just enough to charge her with a felony you're going to go to jail for trespass and shoplifting okay they saw you just take all that stuff out grab the bags y'all were out there bagging it so it is what it is um um I will have to check I have not check how the last one uh you wanted to Bar her for two years so you're barred for two years again don't come back on this property that's anything the bus stop parties uh the Wing Factory anything two more years from today you understand you committed a summoned to court and she could then head home while the woman's accomplice was lucky to escape with a trespass order the suspect was handcuffed and taken to jail all right stand up for me take this over there felony shelf lifting and criminal trespasses our suspect made it to jail without incident she was barred from Walmart for an additional 2 years and charged with theft and criminal trespass on the 20th of June 2023 in Milwaukee Police attempted to stop a stolen SUV connected to a string of armed carjackings earlier that day inside the vehicle were six teenagers the driver calvan jeans his girlfriend Ashley Patterson who was pregnant backseat passengers Samira Dean and Tyrone Rogers and two other accompli who were underage being involved stop stop 17 driver shut the vehicle off tracks one of arm robbery out of District 1 speeds are 40 m hour traffic is clear roads are dry while pursuing the suspects the cops here did a great job communicating with other units over the radio so with every move the teenagers made another police car was about to join the pursuit the suspects weaved in and out of tra traffic ran red lights and sideswiped vehicles that were in the way harsh punishments [Music] on September 7th 2023 patrolman Ryan Spar of the Eaton toown Police Department responded to a Target store in relation to a shoplifting report upon arrival the officer was greeted by an employee from asset protection what's going on nothing I have a shop 540 I think there no ID um that's it Emil he only speak Spanish though speak I don't I uh I have a guy in there that's translating for me she didn't conceal it she just put it in the carart some of it she did yeah all right cool that's her name Mary L yeah mhm okay all right the suspect was introduced to officer Spar as Mary Ling however he required solid proof that she was who she said she was given that she had no ID and didn't speak a word of English getting to the bottom of things was easier said than done she have an ID anywhere in the state United States no she didn't have an ID anywhere in the United States or just me [Music] it's at home and what state is the the New Jersey it's from New Jersey it is find it so she concealed some and put some in the cart yeah so most of it was just was just in the cart she just went around the registers went over to Starbucks B drink and then just tried to walk yeah so then I stopped her actually like almost on the sidewalk outside the woman claimed she had a New Jersey ID but apparently left it at home still with a name now and a state to work on the cops had what they needed to clarify that she was who she said she was whether or not she speaks or understands English is hard to say because in these cases it's common for suspects to avoid questioning by claiming there's a language barrier you just ask her if she has anything else on her store okay from Target yep Target no she says no she have anything in her bag or in that bag that's sharp that's going to stick me or stab me or poke me or anything like that she says no nothing sharp she tell that she's under arrest okay okay a [Music] um you see she says she's one week away or um you know from giving birth and she's pregnant okay well if there's any medical emergencies or anything like that we could take her over to the hospital and have her checked out by medical professionals but there's no medical emergency right now so that doesn't play a factor in what's going on here you could tell her that when the officer searched her bag they found several things she was again arrested for shoplifting roughly 2 weeks later at the very same Target on March 11th 2022 in Miami Florida police received a call about two female suspects stealing Yankee Candles from a Bed Bath and Beyond they were spotted by employees as they tried to conceal the candles in their bag and purses and also down their pants as they tried to leave the store the cops held one woman at gunpoint while the other made a run for it 7105 check what 7104 if is's C you I got one in custody he was after the other one I'm not lying about being F sir I okay all right just relax she put it to call in the FBI after searching her vehicle police uncovered a whopping $3,700 worth of candles and more stolen goods from the very same Plaza with the evidence undeniable the two suspects were filed a lawsuit against the police department for unlawful arrest pregnancy is a sign that things need to change your life's no longer just about you you've got to consider your actions as now they'll impact the life of your unborn child if you continue to break the law while pregnant don't expect special treatment because you'll still wind up in handcuffs like everyone else
