You're lucky tonight. I've had a long night, and I'm going to let this go. >> Come to my house in New York, and and you'll see what money is. >> They told us to shut the [ __ ] up, and we're going to make sure y'all go to jail. >> In restaurants, there's a simple rule. If you order food, you've got to pay for it. But every now and then, somebody decides that they don't want to do it. But they can't just get away with it because the cops are called in when these incredibly dumb customers try to leave the restaurant without paying. >> So you came in here with no form of payment, is that what you're telling >> Right. >> Okay, why would you do that? >> I'm Marshall Mathers' wife, Jennifer Jones. And he did call. >> So you're you're referring to >> My husband, Marshall Mathers. >> Eminem? >> Eminem, the rapper. >> Yeah, yeah. On October 20th, 2025, a call came in from Daryl's Doggone Good Diner in Silver Springs, Florida. Apparently, a customer there finished up their meal and refused to pay the tab, which was $27. The staff explained that it wasn't the first time she'd done it, but the even stranger part was who the woman said she was. >> Ma'am? >> She's still inside. Um she's done ordered two times, and she's not wanting to pay for it. She's getting disrespectful with the employees in there. Um she's gone around to some customers asking them to pay for it. We're not letting that happen. She's trying to order more more food. I said no. This is my district. We want her to be arrested and trespassed. >> Okay. Hello, ma'am. >> Yeah, hi. I'm sorry I was so >> What's going on? >> Um I'm Marshall Mathers' wife, Jennifer Jones. >> Yeah, you're not going to pay your tab? >> No, I am going to pay. >> Okay, you have money? >> let me Can I Can I explain myself, please, sir? >> You don't have to explain >> No, I know I don't. >> You don't have to explain right now. >> on the line. But I want you to you going to pay your tab? >> Can I personally yes via telephone or computer? >> No. Do you have Do you have money on you right now? >> Cash on me no. >> Do you have a debit card credit card? >> I'm doing a movie right at present. I think I don't know. Maybe they're still doing it 50 Cent still doing it I'm not sure. >> The woman claimed to be Jennifer Jones wife of the famous rapper Eminem whose real name was Marshall Mathers the third. But the cop here didn't seem to care about it and was focused on the facts and the most important question of all. The question was was she going to pay for her meal? But the woman's answer was inconclusive. >> So you came in here with no form of payment that's what you're telling me. Okay. Why would you do that? >> Because my husband Marshall Mathers Eminem the international rap star >> Yeah. >> keeps track of me at all times. >> Okay. You got an ID? >> He makes sure all my stuff is paid. And I am the real Jennifer. >> You got the ID on you? >> No. >> You don't have an ID? >> Not on me no. Because they've been stolen I've lost them. >> Okay. >> Jennifer Hellen Cleaver. >> Stand up. You're going in handcuffs right now. All right. I'll put you in the money bag. >> This will be fun. >> Where do you live at? >> Not really sure. I don't know the last time she said something 10th Avenue or something. >> Okay. >> But that was like a month ago. You're not really taking me to jail. >> Before they took her to jail they wanted to make sure they took all of her property with her. She wasn't sure where she lived and didn't seem to have much on her but she did have a lighter a $10 bill and something in the pocket of her hoodie. >> Do you have any property? >> Seriously take me to this jail in particular not to this mother >> Stop. Stop. Do you have Quiet. Do do any property here? >> No. >> Okay, let's go. Here, I'll get it for you. Do you have anything on your person? >> A lighter. >> Is there anything else? >> A $10 bill. >> Okay. Here, just place the car phone in. Just going to make sure you don't have any weapons on you, right? Okay. >> I got you guys for that. >> All right. Do you have any medical issues or anything like that? Okay, so you have You have money in your pocket? >> Uh there's a lighter and a $10 bill. >> Okay, and that's it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Nothing in your hoodie? What is this? >> Oh, it's a Bible. >> Just a Bible? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. The cop checked out the woman's Bible, trying to make sure there was nothing hidden in the pages. After wrapping up their preliminary search, she was placed in the squad car while they tried to ID her. So, your name is Jennifer, right? >> It is. >> Okay. And do you remember about what time you got here? >> Um about 2 hours ago. >> 2 hours ago? >> Yeah. >> Have you eaten here before? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How often do you eat here? >> Um this one, I think maybe three times. But the one There's There's like four that I've been to. >> Okay, got you. >> Yeah, but I >> Do you normally pay before you leave? >> Yeah. >> What what changed today? Like what happened today? >> Because >> Wow. >> Marshall called while I was sitting in there. I told him who my husband was and he did call. >> So, you're you're referring to >> My husband, Marshall Mathers. >> Eminem? >> Eminem, the rapper. >> Yeah, yeah. Okay. What does that have to do with you not paying today? Did he tell you not to? I don't understand. >> I know, he told them to take care of it. >> Oh, you Okay. >> But they're saying that if first I said Well, if you feel you have to go I said police can contact him for you if you need if you feel but he had already called. >> So, your belief is that >> They >> He was going to pick up your tab? >> Well, he damn well better because 50% of WorldStarHipHop is mine from '04 on. >> Got you. >> And we are still married. We're married on paper. >> Okay. >> The suspect, later identified as 54-year-old Jennifer Kléber, doubled down on her strange story, going on to say that Eminem called the restaurant earlier and confirmed that he'd be paying the tab. But, he wasn't the only one who had her back. She also claimed there was an ex-boyfriend who she said was a doctor. >> And I told them, I said, "If either Rob from um the cuz his parents make movies >> Yeah. >> AJ Burton >> Yeah. >> Okay. And Rob's an ex-boyfriend of mine, Rob Owens, from many, many years ago. He's also a thorough reatric surgeon, I think. >> Uh-huh. >> I'm pretty sure. >> [laughter] >> And he may have been Washington one day, you know? But, we all are. But, anyways, um What else? Oh, and him and his wife, she's really sweet. But, that's all not important now because this I mean, I haven't even seen the guy in like years and years and years and years. But, he's been up in my head because he's a surgeon. >> Okay. Well, >> Okay. So, nevertheless, I said, "Could you please My husband is" They know exactly who I am. >> Yeah. >> So, the way that they've been acting in this town because of the Meyer money, because of the farm >> Yeah. >> Think about it. You cannot imagine the utter abuse that I have taken in this town because of those people. >> Instead of explaining why she didn't pay her bill, she kept going further off topic. By the time she said she was making a new movie with Eminem, the cop decided it was time to stop her train of thought and get her back on track. >> Cuz we are doing a a movie about Billy and I, 8 Mile [ __ ] >> Okay. >> Cuz >> We're getting off track. >> All right. So, what is what is it you want me to tell you? What is it you need? >> Did you >> Can I afford to pay this? Hell, yes. >> But, you don't have any money on you, correct? >> Right, I told them that. >> Okay, then why would you come here? >> Because I have unlimited funds. I said, I don't have my phone, can I use yours? I said, you can call my father-in-law, >> Yeah. >> Billy's dad, >> Uh-huh. >> Billy Wieseck, >> Okay. >> senior. >> Okay. >> Okay? Or they can call my Uncle Lou. >> So, you don't have unlimited funds, right? >> Yes, I [ __ ] do, but I don't I told them I don't have my purse, my phone got broken. >> Right. >> I told them that. Then, you damn well but the owner was sitting right there and was like He came in to get me for this to happen on purpose for some reason. >> So, you told them before you sat down that you didn't have any money? >> I >> That's what you're saying? >> I don't remember exactly when I told them. >> Was it after you finished your meal? You didn't You told me >> No, it was in the middle of it. But, I've done this before and then it gets paid by either somebody from my production company comes in and pays it. This has never been an issue. >> So, it is an issue. Your last tab wasn't paid. You walked out. >> This one? >> No, the one prior to it. >> Oh, then that must have been cuz I forgot to take a picture of the thing. >> No, it's because you didn't pay it. >> Suddenly, the whole situation had become a conspiracy theory and allegedly, the restaurant staff was plotting against her. But, the fact of the matter was that she hadn't paid her bill and it wasn't the first time she'd done it. >> Okay, so what? Is that like a 90-day thing and then I'm what? >> What do you mean? >> Like you have 90 days to pay your bills? I mean, I don't know. They don't have run tabs here or something. >> No. >> being a smart ass. Get Listen, seriously, because Rich still had access to my phone and stuff. I was not using credit cards. I was too scared to. The only one I was using was my SSI, my little $967 a month because I'm 97% saved. >> Okay. >> Okay? And I don't know what you're talking about. Last time I was here, I didn't pay that. I don't even believe that. >> Well, that's what they said. >> Well, I don't believe that. That's bull. So, but this and I did it. There's all kinds of witnesses in here. >> Yeah. >> So, they can try all they want to have me jailed. It's not going to work. >> Okay. >> Just call Donald J. Trump. >> All right. You want to slide your legs in for me? Is there anything else you want to talk about? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> They arrested the woman and she was taken to the Marion County Jail where she later got a charge of defrauding an innkeeper. On February 15th, 2026 at an airport in Georgia, the cops are called out to a bar where a man had run up a tab on drinks and a meal. However, they kept declining his card so he couldn't cover the bill. As a result, he started calling his friends and family to help him out and as he did so, disturbing details came to light. >> So, he's got someone on the phone trying to send him some money but like his Apple Pay cards weren't working and so I don't know how this is going to go. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> He's trying to pay with a credit card or Apple Pay? >> Credit uh well, he gave me a card and it said transaction not allowed. He said he got some fraud on his card for using it in a different state. Uh you you know, these are the >> So, he's drunk now, right? He's not like >> He's he's getting there, yeah. >> All right. >> Oh, [ __ ] >> How much is it? >> Hey. >> What's it? >> What? It's 96.42. >> Try this one. Oops, sorry. >> Nope. Maybe after this, I'm going to have to let him handle it. >> It's already home, bro. >> No. >> Give me Give me a copy of the receipt everything. >> After seeing the man's credit card getting declined several times, the cop decided that he had enough evidence to move forward. But the man kept pleading for two more seconds, and the officer obliged. >> Dude, you you you got money to pay for your bill or not? >> Um yeah, I got money to pay for the bill but the tip ain't working. Just give me 2 seconds, please. >> I have been here for more than 2 seconds, so she's ran three cards, they've all been declined. >> I uh >> So, it's either you pay for the bill or you ain't got the money. >> What happens after that? You going to arrest me? >> That theft of services, yeah. >> You're going to put me in jail? >> Yeah. >> Really? >> Yeah. You ain't pay You ain't paying your bill, dude. That You got >> [clears throat] >> I got money to pay it though. >> So, why ain't it wouldn't pay it? >> Come on, man. Shoot me those couple bucks over and I'll send you it. I don't know why my bank account ain't working, bro, but just quick, send it to my Apple Pay, man, and then I'll arrest me. Yeah, I got a cop right here. >> Let me talk to the cop. >> Nah, you ain't going to talk to him. You don't You want to talk You want You want to talk >> Yeah, officer, here you >> I don't I don't need to talk to him. I need you to pay your bill. They want to go home. I don't want to I don't I I don't want to deal with this crap. >> No, I got to pay my bill for my dinner. Oh, let me see. I ain't getting on no flight. I ain't going to pay my bill. Just just relax. All right, let me send you the bread. I don't know why my >> It looks like the man's call did not go as planned. His own friend wouldn't send a cent, and he called the man a liar while the officers listened. At one point, the man on the phone tried to convince the officer to try and swipe the card himself as he had a hunch that his friend was trying to pull some kind of scam. >> Yo, take the card from him and try to swipe it, officer. Just try to swipe it. He's a [ __ ] >> All right. You know what, bro? I'm going to have >> Where's the card at? >> This one? [clears throat] >> Did you try to swipe >> This one says transaction not allowed. >> Transaction not allowed? >> You didn't give me another one. >> Yeah, I gave you two. I have two cards. 100%. I have two debit cards and I have a credit card. >> Tracy? >> Yeah. Both of them declined. >> Oh. Both cards declined. >> You got a credit card? Both of these are declined? You got a credit card? >> I have a credit Yeah, you know what? Here, try this. I have my credit card. I'm sorry, sir. Oh my god. >> Just worry about the worry about the credit card right now. Don't worry about calling your dad. >> When his cards got declined again, the suspect here, Tracy, tried one more desperate solution and called his dad. Clearly, he was hoping that conversation would go better than the last one, but he was sorely mistaken. His friend had called him a liar, but his father had a revelation that was a whole lot more terrible. >> Hello. >> Dad, I'm trying to use my credit card and it's not Why did they give you the power? I don't know what you're talking to me about. I don't know what you're talking about. I can't do anything. I'm trying to help you. >> I'm going to get arrested, so are you going to have to get >> What? >> jail because there's an officer here, bro, and my [ __ ] card's not working, dude. >> What? >> Put money on Apple Pay, man, so I can [ __ ] pay this bill, please. >> That was awful that you didn't know that. I don't have any money, Tracy. >> How do you not have money? We own a multi-million dollar business, dude. Put money on Apple Pay, you idiot. >> I don't have all my money. >> I stole all your money? >> [clears throat] >> Come on. Let's Come on. Let's go. Come on. They want to go home. I I want >> Yo, Mike. Mike. Mike. You owe me big time, bro. >> What? >> Can you shoot me What's the bill, guys? >> $96 $97. >> Can you shoot me in 115 bucks and And send it right back to you. Come on, Morris. >> Well, why do you need $150? >> Because I got officers next to me and they think I'm trying to run out on the bill and I'm trying to use all my cards and they ain't working. These girls got to go. Well, one of you guys, which one of you guys can help me out? >> Do you understand how you are >> dude, shut the [ __ ] up and help me out, buddy. You're supposed to be my friend. I would do it for you. >> Yeah, but dude, everyone's been helping you this whole weekend. Dude, you're you're you have to go to jail. But but the but the officers are on the phone. >> All right, do you have cash? >> It was plain to see that he was on the outs with his friends and family and the fact that his own father accused him of stealing money from him was not a good sign. But for some reason, the cop decided to give him one last shot at getting the money. >> Come on, man. Why you got to be like that, man? I'm going to pay. >> Hello. >> I didn't say you were a bad person, but you you got a meal and all these drinks that you ate paying for. >> They're going to take me to jail, bro. I need you right now. >> bro. >> I don't have the Do I have cash in there? >> I don't know. But you don't have no cash? >> Mike, Mike, I'm about to go to jail, dude. Please. I'll send it right back to you. >> You just told me to go [ __ ] myself. >> Because you've been you've been >> How we being bro? You're being a spending money you don't have. >> What? I have it though, dude. It's just not >> You owe from six cents. >> Who the [ __ ] said that, Nick? >> Bro, do you understand how you are? None of us are being You would be in >> Bro, you're out of your mind if you think I tried to steal money from >> Okay. JT, you need help, dude. You really do need help. >> Do me a favor, bro. Send me Send me How much is that bill? >> $97. >> We're We're done. We're done. >> Send me All right, thank you very much. Right now, I'm going to jail you. >> We're done. >> Just as the cop decided that enough was enough, the employee had another idea. If the man really had money on Apple Pay, he could send it to her through the payment service, and then she'd pay the bill for him. >> So, why why don't you Why don't you Apple [clears throat] Pay me if you have the money? >> You want me to Apple Pay you? Okay. What's your name on Apple Pay? >> you. I'll give you I'll give you the >> I'll just give me your number. Put it right there, and I'll Apple Pay you. >> All right, if we can do that, then that And then she She's She's cool with that. >> If If the If the money actually comes through >> Does it come Does it come through instantly or what? >> Yeah, it will. >> Okay. Instant transfer. >> And if it don't, then >> Then then >> We're done with this crap, so. >> I'm not trying to make a problem for you, so I'm just sitting here. >> Now, give me give me just a second. I'm about to I'm about to see something. >> Just scroll down. What you got to do is swipe downwards. >> Baby, I know how to work an iPhone. >> Okay. So, are you working? >> I am. >> I mean, I've been I probably gave you more tips than anybody who came in here tonight. I mean, I've been hooking you up on every bill. >> Okay. You don't know what kind of tips I make. >> Well, that's good for you, but I did give you many tips, you know. >> You You have not given me anything. You haven't even paid your bill. >> Well, I haven't paid you anything? >> No. Here. >> How much is the bill? >> 97. >> 97, bro. >> I got like 10 cards. >> It said it failed. >> It's not going to work. Go ahead. All right, Drake. >> Come on, dude. Let's go. It It ain't going to work, dude. If you're trying to use the same card as you all before, it's not going to It's not going to work. >> I'm not using the same card. I have three cards. >> Dude, it's declining, man. Let's go. Dude, [clears throat] I've been standing here 10 minutes. I've I've given you >> I know, dude. I have my >> Stop answering the phone, dude. Let's go. >> This is my dad, please. >> I understand that, but I don't really care. And just like that, the suspect managed to pull through yet another desperate attempt to reason with his father. But, he failed to realize that by that point, it was an hour past closing time, and as he talked to his father, the employees there were shutting down the register. >> Officer, please, can you give me 2 seconds so I can pay this bill, please? >> You can't pay it, dude. You've already tried to pay it. >> I can pay it. All right, please. >> You've already tried to pay it. >> I know, but my card's not working on my phone. I don't know I left my wallet in Florida. >> Your wallet's right there. >> I mean, my card. I don't have my >> You got two cards right there. >> No, I have my Look, this is my old card. You see this? This is where I kept my card. This is my old card. I got a new card. All right, I'm sorry. Hold on one second. Let me call my little brother. Just with my dad. Please, please just give me one more second. I really don't want to get arrested in the state of Florida. >> You're not in Florida, you're in Georgia. >> Georgia, wherever it is. You know, I live in New York. I'm not from here. >> Okay. >> a warrant? I'm sorry. >> The man's father found a way to send him the money, but it was already too late. And once Tracy realized that it was over, and that even if he had the money, he wouldn't be able to pay it, he turned his anger on the one person who tried to help him, that being the waitress. >> Let's go. >> I I I hate to do it, but >> Thank you very much. >> How long do you think it'll be for, Tracy? >> I got to go to [ __ ] jail now, you >> Why would you do that? >> Let's go. >> What do you mean, why? You You got an officer? Let's go. You hear that? That's the cops. Thank you. Thanks a lot. You got to cuff me, man? >> Yeah. >> Jail's right here, ain't it? >> The jail's not in the airport, no. You got to drive down the road. >> Thank you, honey. >> Baby, you don't know how much money I make. >> You are sweetheart. Look at you. >> Don't Don't blame her for this. So, let's go. Come on. Come on. >> Sweetheart, this girl. >> Come on. >> You did good. You got a great job. >> Put your hands together like you pray. >> You If you were a nicer girl, maybe you'd make more money. >> Hey. >> Hey, baby, you don't know how much money I make. Obviously, you're the one without the money. >> Hey, just >> I'm sorry. >> Let's go. Let's go. man. >> Come to my house in New and then you'll see what money is. >> So, you need us to walk then, right? >> No, where where do you live? Middle of nowhere? >> He was full of entitlement towards his friends and family, and even the people who tried to help him. He was taken to jail, and was later charged with theft of services. On the 16th of August, 2024, the cops are called out to a restaurant after an altercation between customers. One group was asked to leave, but they refused, and just continued shouting and arguing. As far as this case goes, it just shows what happens when people lack the ability to control their emotions. >> You told me to be in here, to be a park, and for you to TELL ME TO SHUT UP. AND THEN CALL THE POLICE LIKE WHAT? >> DO ME A FAVOR, grab your purse and let us go. >> No, we don't need to talk. >> We don't need to talk, we're getting up. >> We don't need to talk. >> Ma'am, he gave you a lot of warning. You can walk outside with us, or you can go out in handcuffs. You can walk out on your own and talk to us. >> No, you on the same thing they on. >> We're taking the situation outside. What you want him for? >> Just talk. >> No, we just going to leave. I got to get everybody outside of the store. That's all. >> No, ain't no side of the store, but They trying to be hillbillies, and they hit a woman and a handicap, so they think this is a five-star restaurant that they in. So, what? >> So, they want to fight. They really hit her. >> Which one of the one that was talking? This one? >> The hillbilly one. >> Ma'am, let's go. >> I ain't got to go nowhere. >> You coming outside, too? >> You told me to go somewhere? >> 10-4. >> With my picture? You told me to go? >> Ma'am. Let's step outside. >> me to go? >> I'm going to ask you one more time. Step outside. >> What? I'm over here. >> But you're instigating the situation. Let's go. >> Hey, hey, THIS IS THE GUY. NOW, I TOLD her to leave. >> I'm going to ask you one more time. Step outside. >> I know the chief. >> [laughter] >> And I know all of them. Wait on. Come on. Put my cover on picture. I'll take it out. now. You take me out, so. >> Oh, you asked you said to come back and pay your bill. >> And I bet you that. >> Okay. >> I bet you that. >> Okay. Come on. >> Okay. >> I've been trying to confuse the whole situation. >> The second woman said that actually she was trying to calm things down, but according to the original caller, they said she was the instigator and she sure enough sounded like one as she was calling the other customers hillbillies. Once the cops got everybody outside, things continued to escalate. >> My rights is the same as his. We were standing there. Listen, we were standing there. >> What's up? What you want? What you want with me? >> First off, lower your tone. >> Okay. Hey, listen. What's up? >> Were you instigating situation? >> Huh? >> Were you Were you >> Then I went to a the whole 'nother You ask me a question or no? >> When I was standing there, YOU WAS INSTIGATING >> NO, I WAS NOT. I WENT TO THEM TO I WAS AT THE table with them. And you asked me a Will you give me somebody else to talk to cuz he don't want to talk to me. >> Ooh, and she don't know no better. >> Well, unfortunately, I'm the supervisor, so you don't have a choice. >> You talk to me. Come on over here and talk to me. >> Ma'am, they told us to shut the and then called y'all. >> ASK THEM AS TOLD. >> DIDN'T CALL YOU. HOW CAN WE LOWER OUR VOICE WHEN WE is a regular a CUSTOMER JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE? We came to sit down and seven the waitress coming and the manager telling us we were TOO LOUD. THEY TOLD us to shut the Then they called you. >> They didn't call us. >> Yeah, they did. >> The restaurant called. >> No, okay. The restaurant called. They told us they called you. >> Oh, you going TO JAIL. >> YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. WE CALLED ON Y'ALL. >> According to the supervisor, several callers had reported this rowdy bunch and when lots of people are saying somebody's too loud, it's most likely true. However, the two women felt insulted not by the staff but by the customers. >> So now you got several complaints and we >> I went clean AND I AIN'T NO PROBLEM. WE AIN'T GOT NO BUT NOW OUT OF THAT, I MOVED TO ANOTHER TABLE. I went to another table. >> Ma'am, give me your ID. >> But what my ID need to be? >> I need your ID to >> For what? >> Because you're getting criminal trespass. Don't come back here. I need your ID. >> No, they you're lying. They just told me I was cool here. Ooh, you're lying. They're lying, but you can't lie. I bet you they ain't told me I couldn't come here. The owner just came and said, I went to the I left my friends. >> Yeah, you got to pay and then you're getting criminal trespass means you can't come back. >> Not me. I bet you it ain't me. >> Yes, ma'am, it is you. >> I bet you it ain't. Tell us Put on it. Put on it. I bet you it ain't. But you get my And I'll be here tomorrow. >> You got your ID? >> No. >> All right. >> He tells me to shut See you tomorrow. After the waitress talking to us, he could tell us to shut the I WAS A WHOLE 'NOTHER TABLE. >> MA'AM, come over here. Ma'am, come over here, please. >> After the staff confirmed they wanted both women trespassed, the cops tried to identify them, but it was easier said than done because they both kept yelling and acting erratically. >> What's your name? >> And they're white mother hillbilly. Kyle and they don't know what he said. OH, Y'ALL THEY GOING TO MAKE SURE WE GO TO JAIL. HEY, WHY WHY DON'T Y'ALL HAVE HIM? BUT WHERE HE AT? >> Y'ALL GO AHEAD AND CALM DOWN. >> Where he at? But you told my kid >> If you are sitting in THE RESTAURANT >> THAT MAN AIN'T never told me my name is >> Did you pay your bill? >> I guess this is the bill. Is this your bill? No. This is not my bill. That is not my bill. They said while they were there y'all need to shut the [ __ ] up. They said we're going to make sure y'all take y'all to jail. You don't do that. You don't do that. And I told them I'M GOING TO STAY HERE till the police get here. I could have been left before y'all got here. I told them I would be here until the police get here because that's not right because I pay my money just like everybody else. If I'm loud, then come correct me. And if I don't change that, then you can If you don't check me and I don't change it, then you can hold me accountable. >> Real quick, y'all need to listen listen to me. >> Like Jose said, owner, I'll be here tomorrow. >> Are you going to listen to me? >> Hey, yes you do actually. >> You touching me? >> Yes, you just body checked me. >> I did not body check you. >> No. >> I did not body check you. >> Yes, you did. SO. >> BODY CHECK WHAT? THIS IS WRONG. HE been paying. >> Hey, back up. >> He paying for his stay. Y'all I can't see. >> What's going on back there? >> They were so close to getting out of there with only a trespass warning, but with tensions running that high, it just took one dumb move for the handcuffs to come out. What's ironic here is that the woman who said she was trying to de-escalate things was the one who pulled the dumb move. >> She the ONE THAT WAS CALM LIKE THAT. >> ALL RIGHT. >> Y'ALL WEREN'T DOING NOTHING. I TRIED TO CALM THEM DOWN. >> YOU HAVE verbally been defiant since I got out here. >> I was >> You have been defiant >> I didn't want to cuz you walked away. >> Calm down everything. >> And you have wanted to be loud and then YOU >> I WAS TRYING to get them >> Okay. >> Listen to me. And then when he tried to talk to you, you turned around AND >> HE DIDN'T TRY TO TALK TO ME. I DON'T WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. I TRIED TO I just went in there. He The lady said no. Y'all want to take somebody to jail. >> Actually, WE DIDN'T. >> NO, ASK THEM I COME HERE EVERY I COME HERE THREE times a week. I COME HERE THREE TIMES A WEEK. I COME HERE THREE TIMES A WEEK, Y'ALL. OKAY. >> AFTER arresting the woman, there was still the issue of that unpaid bill. The other couple was on the way to their car when an officer confronted them, but they said the bill wasn't theirs. >> Hey, y'all still got to pay your bill before YOU CAN LEAVE. >> THEY NEED TO MAKE SURE THE BILL is right. They done put something on my bill. They made the bill mine. >> Calm down for a second, okay? >> The bill going to be paid. >> I said, look, just That's all you got, just pay the bill for you and you can leave, okay? >> Okay, I'm putting her in the car. >> No, she's Look, >> I'm straight. >> Look, as long as Look, this is the thing, okay? So, when I walked in, she was the calmer You You was upset, but you was the calmer one of the two of y'all. She was antagonizing the situation. >> sir. >> Ma'am, she was antagonizing the situation. I mean, she was She was She was egging it on, okay? And you know she was. >> But, sir, if you got disrespected, I'm sure you would have antagonized it on as well. >> I get that. >> They told us to shut up, and we're going to make sure y'all go to jail. I'm sorry, I'm But, listen, they told us they were going to make sure somebody go to jail, sir. >> Can everybody get home safe? Go ahead and run and pay it while I talk to her. >> Sir, they told us they were going to make sure somebody go to jail. >> Listen, let's step out of the road first cuz folks can't drive, okay? I understand you felt disrespected, and I get that, okay? But, my thing is this, we're all adults, right? >> Yes, sir. >> We need to handle adult situations, correct? Adult manner, right? >> Yes, sir. >> There's kids in that restaurant, okay? >> Sir, they didn't come >> I I understand Let me finish, please, okay? There's kids in that restaurant. So, if y'all had a disagreement or you felt some type of way, the best thing to do would be to either, A, wait till we get there, don't say nothing to them. Speak to her in a more respectful You speak to her and me and us, when we can understand what's going on the situation better. >> As far as this case goes, it was a prime example of how calmer heads prevail. Even though all parties involved were criminally trespassed, only one had to go to the jailhouse, and she was charged with obstruction. On the 27th of January 2025, a woman was on her way to court and stopped to get breakfast, but suddenly realized that she didn't have her credit card. As she'd eaten already, the staff decided to call the St. Charles police and let them figure things out. By the time the cops got there, she'd already walked over to the nearby courthouse. >> Yeah, my husband left. He has got the credit card. He is about >> All right. >> We called your husband. >> I called him. It doesn't work. He's going to come back and pick me up from court. >> Well, we have right now, you got to come back to this restaurant. You got to make that right. I'm just going to give you a call right now, but >> I did call him. >> He's not answering his phone right now, so we have to figure out what's going on here. >> Well, I don't have my husband. >> Have you got an idea of how long he's going to be at court until he gets back? >> I have no idea. I'll go back Yeah, I I'll go over there. I just can't go right now. >> You can't go right now? What's this point where they called us? >> I understand that. Well, I don't have money in my hands. >> You don't have a credit card. You got to figure that out. Like, what do you recommend that I do, right? I'm just going to wait up. >> All right. I'll wait. Yeah, I know. Yeah. All right. >> The woman here, who identified herself as Dina, had no problem at all talking to police. According to Dina, she wanted to pay her bill, but didn't realize that her husband drove off with her credit card. So, for the time being, the cop played along with her and let her try to contact him. That being said, the cop had doubts about her story. >> So, she said her husband just went to make a payment. >> He said he's got a credit card. >> So, can you call your husband? You got to take care of this bill. >> I don't want to pay. >> The business has to be paid. >> He said he's not coming back. He's going to go paid. I don't know where he's at. Okay. >> Like we're friends? >> Okay. >> I've seen my partner do this freezing out facing phone calls and then >> Um if the text now it doesn't work because I don't have Wi-Fi. >> So what happened exactly when you walked in? >> We had breakfast. He dropped me off and he was supposed to meet me over there and I seen him at court. So I didn't see his car in the lot so then he came over here. You know? And I was walking like waiting for him and then I didn't see the car. I go well he's gone. You know? >> So why would you just keep walking? Did you just leave? >> I said I had to go get the car that was his car because I was with the girl. And I went to find him and I couldn't find him in the lot. >> So you know that looks right? >> Yeah. >> He just dined and dashed so >> No I didn't though. I just >> Okay. Unless you have a different number. How about somebody else? >> When the call to her husband fell through, the cop gave her a chance to call somebody else but according to Dina, she had nobody else to call. But she did have a suggestion and she promised she'd pay them but she'd have to come back another time to do it. The cop decided to [music] let the management decide just what to do next. >> We're going to go back to Syrup and we're going to talk to him, okay? >> I I just go ahead and pay mine right now. I got him on my card. >> We're going to swing by Syrup just We're going to talk to them. You're going to have to explain everything. >> What? I I'm being honest, you know? I'm sorry. My husband has his credit card and he has it at the store house. He took off. So I promise I'll pay you. I'm sorry. I don't >> There's no other place this is. >> I am I don't have any I have no money. He's got the credit card. >> It's okay. All right, how long are you going to be here? >> Until he comes. I I had to go back where I can find him. I don't know where he's at. >> Well, this thing's not working. How's he going to pick you up? >> Well, I can see his Where she put her car with him. >> I thought my car was there and I walked over there with her and it wasn't locked. So, where did it go? >> Does your husband know where it was? >> I just dropped her off at the court. I walked her to the car. >> No, he took me here and he was over there and I No, I I have I have I have to go to court. >> What? You're supposed to be in court? I was just here dealing with what happened right here, which is this. We need to make sure this is right with the business. If they have to get paid for food. Right now, court is that is that is not something we worry about now. If you miss a court date, you miss a court date. We have to deal with this now. And now yep, this court issue is not going to be what's happening now. >> Gina kept saying she had a court date and was worried about missing it. But that being said, the cops' main concern here was figuring out what to do about the dine and dash. But with every option the cops gave her, she came up with an excuse of how it just wouldn't work. >> So, why don't we even start making some phone calls to the court number? >> I don't have anyone to call. I don't have My friend is in court in Rolling Meadows. >> Okay, is this her number? >> This is the only person I can call. >> Are you sure that was the right number? >> Yeah. >> That was the right number? Is your phone dead? Did you try it already? >> No, my phone doesn't I have text now, so the noise works. >> So, you should text them. >> No, it won't work. >> Can you try? You got to try. >> There could be a Wi-Fi here maybe. Just try to call them. >> Let me use your phone. >> Let's see. Do you have a number? >> I have another number. I'll call my friend. Another friend. >> Okay, who's this? >> That's a friend of mine. It's old man. >> Okay, what do you >> I'm seeing if he's paying the bill. me. >> Does this guy live nearby? Is he going to come here? >> He lives in St. Charles. >> He lives in St. Charles? >> Yeah. >> What's his name? >> Yes. >> Dina? Is this Dina? >> Who's talking? >> Hi. Hi. Is this Hi. This is Officer Alton with the St. Charles Police. I'm with Dina right now. She asked me to She asked me to call you. She's having trouble paying the bill at your restaurant. She was wondering if you could assist her with that. >> It's a Who's this? My friend Dina. I'm going to see if he'll pay the bill. >> Yes. Yes, she's having trouble paying the bill. >> 22 bucks. >> It comes out to about 22 bucks. If you're able to assist her, she's asking for help. He says he doesn't have it on him. Okay. Okay, sir. >> Dina's friend offered a free ride when she needed it, but he wasn't willing to do anything more than that. As far as her friends went, it seemed like all of them were unwilling to help, either that or in court. But the cops here were incredibly motivated and wanted to get things resolved, so they kept calling her friends. >> He might not answer. He's in court right now. >> Everybody's at court? >> I'd like to go to court. >> I don't worry, ma'am. I would also like this bill taken care of. >> I wish you would. >> So that's the first thing we're doing. All right. Is this the West Court? >> Who's talking? >> All right. This is Officer Alton with the St. Charles Police. I'm with Dina right now. She requested that I call you. She's having a bit of trouble paying off her bill at a restaurant. We wondered if if you could assist her. It's about 22 bucks. Are you rolling metals right now? Okay. >> The officer then asked the friend if he could wire some money, but the man said he couldn't do it because he didn't have the $22. At that point, she was completely out of options and with nobody else to call, all she could do was wait. >> That's it. That's all I have. >> For right now, we're going to she's willing to talk to her owner. If they choose to pursue a pressing charges, we're going to get cited for that. Another court date. For the life of you, also ban from this restaurant, too. I don't care what type of court date it is. You have to deal with this now. Okay? That deputy over there was nice enough to let me push towards the back, but if you miss your court date, you miss your court date. All right. Yep. >> What? >> You got something with us? >> All right. >> I'll just stay at the corner. All right. So, it's just a misdemeanor theft, okay? We're going to issue you a notice to appear. It's going to be state charge. You are also going to be trespassed from the business, okay? You are no longer allowed on the property. If you show up to the property, you'll be arrested. >> Okay. Can I get my receipt from the bar? >> Uh if you choose to, >> Yeah. >> maybe. Sure. >> All right. Thanks, sir. >> All right. >> [music] >> I'm going to write my name and after I write my name, I'm going to let him off. >> All right. You can give her her receipt for this. >> The restaurant decided to press charges against her, but thankfully for her, she didn't spend any time in jail. At the officer's urging, she was taken into custody and was later booked and they gave her a citation for misdemeanor theft. On the 21st of September, 2025, the cops were called out to a Marriott Hotel near the airport after reportedly a man left the sky bar after not paying for his meal. As he left the place, a security guard followed him and the suspect tried to shake him off, but he didn't succeed. >> food in our bar. He ate it. And while the server was taking the order, I watched him leave the bar, got on our elevator, went to the sixth floor. I've been trying to chase him down since then. And just prior to calling y'all is when I caught up with him. He's been running around the hotel hiding. >> So, did you order some food and not pay? >> Um I ordered something and and I didn't feel well. I I took a bite of it and I left. >> Well, you still got to pay for it. >> No, I mean of course on top of that I lost my bag, I just realized. And um Yeah, that's right. I just came down. I lost I have my wallet, a brown paper bag at the Hard Rock. Besides the fact that I I I didn't feel well after I didn't even eat it. The gentleman can tell you and then I took a bite and I just left cuz I had some stomach issues and I realized I lost my bag. So, bro, I've been having and he's been following me on top of everything that's been going on. >> Are you staying at the Marriott? >> No, no, no, no. >> You're not staying at the Marriott? >> No, not today. >> Whenever the cop asked a question, the man was very vague with his answers. He said he'd flown about a week ago and he kept saying he'd lost his wallet. But the officer said that the man also had a backpack, which he must have left somewhere else. >> So, you don't have a boarding pass right now? >> Um currently I do not. I don't even have my wallet right now. [music] >> All right, you were at the hotel. You had your backpack with you. >> No, it's not a backpack. It was a Oh, he must think I'm lying. Um >> Listen, do you have Do you have anything to pay pay with? >> Um currently I do not. I don't even have my my my thing and I and again I left the food 100% there. Yes or no? >> But you still got to pay for it. >> No, I didn't mean not to pay for it. I just >> going to pay for it if you don't have your phone? >> Sir, do you understand I lost my On top of this, this is the least of the situations, bro. I'm looking for my wallet. >> I understand what you're saying, but you were ordering food knowing you didn't have money. >> No, the opposite, the complete opposite. Um I I had a I I took a bite and I started feeling sick and woozy. There's only one bite of that burger there. >> And there's one bite of the burger and I completely left. >> It doesn't matter. >> Why would you order No, no, stop. >> Why would I order with my intentions of eating it? >> You want to press charges? >> Well, let me double check with the manager and see what she wants to do, but I wasn't informed that he didn't pay. And I actually saw him leave the bar cuz I was standing at the front desk. >> At that point, the conversation switched back to the backpack, and this time, the man changed his story. He denied having the backpack just a minute ago, but he was now saying that he gave it to his girlfriend. >> Did you see Did he have a bag with him? >> Yeah. >> What'd you do with the bag when after you got on the elevator? >> And um my girl has it. But but yeah, but on top of everything >> Was your girl staying in the airport or no? >> You're asking me so many questions here over I I felt sick and I lost my wallet and my license and my stuff. And I had a bunch of clothes in it. But also but can you hear me? I know I know I know I haven't said anything to you guys. No, no, no, no, no. That's not that's neither here nor there. I'm saying I just lost my bag at by the Hard Rock with my wallet in it. Why is this burger that I didn't feel [music] I took a bite of and I didn't feel good. Why is this the main situation? My bag is upstairs. Do you understand? >> situation is because you ordered food. >> I just lost my bag, bro, with my wallet and clothes. We're talking about a $18 burger that I took a bite of and and and and I understand that I ate it and tried to run off like a dine and dash, but I don't know if that was his assumption, but bro, that's not what I'm doing here. Like that's I'm not I took a bite, I didn't feel good, and I went upstairs. >> Why don't you call your girl so we can get this bill situated and then we'll figure out your bag. >> My my my bag is the most important My wallet, my bag >> Well, you said you're here with your girlfriend, right? >> But that's neither here nor there. I'm I'm I'm not >> So you're not So You want to find if you want to press charges? Cuz I'm ready to put handcuffs on him now. >> The cop was fed up with the suspect's evasive answers and flat-out lies. But the man just wouldn't stop complaining about his stomach issues and losing his bag. It was like this guy expected that the cops would drop what they were doing and fan out all over the place and start looking for his bag. >> So, who are you here at the airport with? >> I'm here by myself right now looking for my bag. >> But you said something about a girl. >> No, no, no. >> So, you're not here with no girl? >> No, no, no. >> So, why did you get on the elevator and go to the sixth floor? >> There's nothing about a girl that's important. There's nothing about a girl. >> You said you said she had your bag. >> No, I didn't. I I said that I left my bag by the Hard Rock. >> We're not worried about your bag. We're worried about you committing a theft at the Marriott. That's why we're called here. >> No, you're not free to leave. >> I'm going to sit. I'm going to sit. >> Sit down. >> Wow. >> He did it. Was there any re reports of a bag being picked up by PF Chang's? >> No, Hard Rock. >> The Hard Rock? >> I don't even have my wallet on me. >> Bro, this is where you're going to go to jail, so. >> How am I going to jail over this? >> When did you When was the last time you saw your bag? >> [music] >> Sir, like 2 hours ago. >> What kind of Is it a black book bag? >> in jail right now, bro? I didn't even eat the burger. >> It doesn't matter, bro. >> Bro, you're holding the burger. Bro, you've been harassing me the whole time, bro. I'm looking for my bag. Do you understand? >> Relax, dude. >> [music] >> Bro, am I detained right now? >> No, you're under arrest. Stop, dude. >> Yes, sir. Bro, you can check the cameras. >> When the suspect, Julio Leonardo Reyes, also known as Jay, realized that he was going to jail, he started asking for the footage and started demanding to talk to a supervisor. What he failed to realize though, was that the supervisor had been there the whole time. >> Um can I can I speak to a supervisor? >> That's me. >> Supervisor. Sir, sir, sir, can >> Listen, listen, listen. >> Can I speak with you? >> Do me a favor. >> Yes, sir. >> Pay attention to what they're trying to tell you to do. >> They're not telling me anything. They're grabbing me. >> I was just sitting right there listening. >> Supervisor. >> I was sitting there right there listening to you. >> Okay, so you're trying to hear >> Bro, stop. >> Sir, do you >> You're going to go for a misdemeanor. Do you want to go for more? >> Sir, a misdemeanor can you Can I speak with you? >> Yeah, the fraudulent keeper. That's what you did, guy. >> What was it? >> The fraudulent keeper. >> Sir, >> You got a million to pay for it. Hey, >> I didn't I I didn't feel well. He's absolutely wrong. >> Jay, let me tell you something, Jay. You're 28 years old. You could have sat there and you could have told the Marriott security guy, "Hey, I don't feel well." Any Hold on. >> I ran AWAY FIRST CUZ I DIDN'T FEEL WELL. >> YOU CAME all the way across the terminal. You could have said, "Hey, can you call the police to see if this bag my bag is down there?" >> No, no, no. >> You could have made a million adult decisions and I'm going to >> You're you're 100% wrong. >> You're 28 years old. You got to know that that's not going to be a good outcome. >> All I'm saying, you understand >> what I'm saying? I know and that's I'm telling you what you need to do from now >> Now, I'll do I'll do I'll do what they >> Just follow instructions. Okay, don't tense up. Don't lock your fingers. If they tell you >> Can you just give me some glass of water, please? I'm like literally like about to catch a heart attack. >> Jay, do not spit at my guys. >> Throughout the whole interaction, the cops here missed an important piece of information. Jay said that he lost his bag at the Hard Rock, which meant that he'd probably gone inside the place and he at least had one drink. And the one who picked up on that first was Sergeant Dilly. >> How much did you drink today? >> I had a glass of >> Could that be what's causing a little bit of the >> I lost my my bag. >> How did you pay for your alcohol? Up there, too? >> No, I'm I'm It's It's It's I can't give out all of this information. I'm not even staying in the room. >> When you feel like you're not feeling well before you take a bite, what do you do? Tell me I know you know. Tell me. >> I actually if I tell you the truth, if you ask the waiter if you ask the waiter, I asked him specifically cuz I wasn't feeling well. I said I asked him, "Hey, hey bro, did you already when I ordered it?" Cuz I went to the restroom before I left. I almost canceled it. And and he said it's already put He told me um um like it's good. It's a really good burger. He gave me a ginger ale as well cuz my stomach it was upset. And he and he and I had a bite of it and still was upset and then I just left. >> I think you had a two of being honest with me. And that upsets me because the only reason why I came up here was because I wanted to stop you from making bad choices. More so than you already have. >> Later on, the waiter said that he did complain about his stomach and they offered him a ginger soda to help him feel better. As far as Jay went, he got that part right, but he didn't get the next part right because that's when he got the chance to cancel his hamburger and it was Jay who was the one who denied it. >> Let's get him in the car. Juan's going to get us what information we got from the room. Don't take him to Orient. And then when you get to Orient let him know that uh you really don't trust his ID. >> All right. >> Can I ask you a question? What? >> I know I know. What if you provide the bro Come on. If one of these guys out here could pay the $20 tab, would I be okay? >> No. You've already been searched. If there's anything on you whatsoever, it goes into the jail. You're going to get a felony. Is there anything you're hiding on you that we missed? >> Well, you guys have already like harassed me. >> The cops later confirmed that he did have a room at the hotel and that a backpack was in it. He was taken to the Orient Road Jail and they charged the man with obtaining food or lodging or other accommodations with intent to defraud. In addition, he was trespassed from Marriott for a year. On the 10th of November, 2024, at the Laughing Fox Tavern in New Jersey, the staff there was dealing with a customer who was anything but amusing. The man not only refused to pay, but he demanded to get a refund and refused to leave the restaurant. As the cops interviewed the staff there, the man abruptly inserted himself into the conversation. >> What's going on? >> Um we have a discussion with him about policy. He's asking for a refund even though he didn't pay yet. So, we asked him to leave, but he's asking for a reason. >> He didn't pay on this one. >> That's the first thing I thought of. I'll go talk to my partner. Huh? No, you can go talk to my partner. I'm not dealing with you right now. Can you go talk to my partner? You want to I'm having a conversation. I'll talk to you in a second. Let's go somewhere. >> The guy just took my food. >> Took your food? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, what are you What are you doing here tonight? You What happened after that? >> $40. >> All the wings you can want? >> They just take my food. >> Okay. You paid? >> Yeah. >> Okay. $40? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You said that >> He came in at 3:30 first. That's probably 7 or 8 years. We don't have the all you can eat wings special. The only thing is you order more wings to take than you finish the first one. I was like, "You didn't have to do that. You could have left." He goes, "No, give me my wings, then." A refund when he didn't pay yet. Like, he did not pay. We don't have to refund him anything. >> The suspect's story was a little bit different. [music] Apparently, he came in for the chicken wings, which were all you can eat for $40. He said the staff took his food before he had a chance to eat it, and therefore, he wanted a refund. >> Why did they take your food? >> They said they couldn't give me They couldn't give me them until they took the other food. >> They couldn't give you the wings? >> Yeah. >> The all you can eat was a special or something? >> Yeah, I know. It was a special. $40. All you can drink, all you can eat wings. I worked for you. I threw my food >> Those are yours? >> Yeah. I thought I ate them all. They said, "Oh, I can't give you another eight." So, I take these away from you. I said, "Well, I'm not done with it." >> You ate your wings? Yeah. >> Okay. >> But you didn't finish those? >> Yeah. >> That might be something with their policy, though. >> Policy don't say it only favor. >> Okay, but that's still something they can do. >> It doesn't matter. It's up to them. They're the manager. >> It's up to them, yeah. >> They're the manager in there. >> Mhm. >> Right? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. What if somebody took your wings away from you? >> I know. It's silly. Yeah. It's over wings. On a childish note. >> Yeah, you got some bites, you got some beer. >> The way I want it right there, I saw it. >> Seven. >> You want to give me your idea or not? >> No, I don't. Are you recording me right now? >> Yeah, everything's being video and audio recorded. >> Yeah, you shouldn't have said that in the beginning. >> The man made it clear right away that he wasn't intimidated by law enforcement, but at least while he was saying it, he was staying polite. However, that quickly changed when the man found out that he wouldn't be getting a refund. >> So, so what what was the issue with y'all? What's this what's this >> I already told your partner right there he tried to >> Yeah, but he talked to that partner. >> Since you wanted to shoo me away. >> I did want to shoo you away cuz I'm doing my >> Yeah, he talked to partner. >> They want you to pay the bill. They want you to leave. >> What did I tell you? >> Did he pay it? >> No, not yet. >> I heard it. >> I want a receipt right there. >> I want a receipt for >> I'll say it real quick. >> Yeah. >> Does anyone know if this gentleman paid? He's got a receipt. He didn't pay it? >> That is his bill. >> Okay, this is his bill. >> [music] >> Okay. >> It's not bogus. Look, I spent 20 years in Iraq. >> I don't give a So you put your service, but don't don't put that in my face. You still you put your service, don't put that in my face, though. So they're telling me you haven't paid. This is your bill. You still haven't paid. >> Yeah, so I want a refund. >> You can't get a refund. You got to pay for the food you ate. >> It's a receipt. I paid. >> That's not it. It's the bill. That's how much you owe. >> You got to deal with the cashier or whatever you paid. >> I paid him, and then they can refund my money. >> They're not refunding your money. You ate the wings. You ate the wings. You got to pay them. >> Yeah, I ate the wings, so you take them away, and I ate them. >> The policy that they told >> Policy. >> Yeah, I know about the policy. >> The man suddenly stood up and began walking toward the exit. The problem was he still hadn't paid for his food yet. So the cops weren't going to let the guy just walk on out without paying. >> You walk out and you're going to be arrested for that. So you have you have a second to turn around. You have a second to turn around. >> No, not yet. >> What's your park? Give me park. >> Here's 2381. >> All right, give me park. >> I don't have a park. >> You don't have a park? Give me park. >> You got park? >> I don't got park. I got name and a badge number. You want it? Yeah, uh it's like 2376. 2376? >> I think. >> Then that's your fault. Not my fault. >> If you sign a complaint, we'll put you in handcuffs and arrest you, but you have to come down to the station and sign. >> So so he's the one to pay any? >> He he's trying to recoup it. He's trying to convince him, but um we're telling him that you want to trespass from the shop. >> You want to trespass? >> All right, do you want him to pay or you just want to forget? It's up to you. >> I just have to pay for the drink. >> Like a true businessman, the manager decided to just cut his losses, only charge the man for his drinks, and let the guy leave with a trespass warning. In the meantime, the suspect started recording the cops, and things were getting heated. >> Hey, you want to approach me? >> You you You know how to approach me? >> Guys. >> Guys, I just told you not to approach me, dude. >> Guys, I'm not approaching you. >> Then what are you doing? >> I'm not approaching you. >> You were once too. >> I'm not approaching you. >> Weren't you approaching me? I didn't move. >> Yeah, I'm on the first amendment. >> First amendment? >> Yeah. All right, freedom [music] of speech. Second amendment. Uh right to bear arms. Third amendment. >> I don't care. >> Fourth amendment. >> Search and seizure. >> Fifth amendment. >> What what's fifth amendment? >> Sixth amendment. Seventh amendment. >> Seventh. >> Eighth amendment. >> Eighth. What is it? >> Violence. >> What is [music] it? >> You I'm not in school. I'm not answering you. >> Yeah. >> Hey, go pay your bill. >> Second amendment. >> Go pay your bill. >> Second amendment. >> When the second officer came back, he explained that the restaurant would only be charging for drinks. That being said, the man effectively got his refund, and all he had to pay was $28. The question was, would he pay for his bill, or was he really hell-bent on getting it for free? >> Hey, can you Can you Can you afford $29? >> Can you afford $29? >> What? I'm going to turn around, please. >> There you are. >> Pay the bill, or you're under arrest. >> There you are. >> We're trying to help you out right now. We're giving you plenty of chances. >> Why are you trying to help me out? >> Cuz you're going to be in handcuffs. >> I'll pay the dollar. >> There we go. All right, one more chance. Yes or no, are you paying the $29? Yes or no? >> How much? >> $29. >> $29. How many drinks did I have? How many How many drinks did she tell you? >> Yes or no? >> How many drinks did she tell you? >> Yes or no? Just tell me something. >> How many drinks did she tell you? >> Yes or no? >> I mean, everybody in America would have paid the bill. >> Why you? >> What? >> Pay it. >> You can't touch. >> No, we ain't negotiating. >> You want to put your hands on me? >> I'm going to. >> You want to put your hands on me? Put your hands on me. >> Pay the bill. >> Yeah. >> Pay the bill. >> You think I'm just some kind of dude? >> I probably could arrest you for trying to help you out. Pay the bill, or you're going to be in handcuffs, dude. >> Surprisingly enough, the man eventually paid for his drinks, and even got his change back. Now, the cops had the task of escorting him out, as the restaurant was trespassing him, but it was easier said than done. >> Hey, grab your money. >> Grab your money, let's go. >> Don't touch me. >> Yeah. >> What did I say? You don't touch me. What did I say? >> Take your money. >> What did I say? You don't touch me. >> leaving or not? Hey. >> Did you just touch me? Did you just touch me? >> I I did. Yeah, I put my hands on your shoulder. I didn't know you were so sensitive. Sorry, buddy. >> Hey. >> Let's go though. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. >> Three. >> Two. One. All right. >> Crap. Get off. Get off. I'm not resisting. I'm not resisting. >> Give us your >> No. >> The cops managed to overpower the man, but that was not the end of the drama. He hadn't calmed down one bit, and the thing that really triggered him was that the cops were going through his things. >> Did I give you permission to search my wallet? >> Put your money in your wallet. >> Did I No. Did I give you permission to search my wallet? >> Shut the [ __ ] >> Did you tell me to shut the Did you just tell me to shut the Hey. Did you just tell Walk me outside. I don't want to go anywhere. I don't want to go anywhere. >> You knew that. >> Yeah. Sorry about that. >> Yeah, yeah, I know. >> Roxanne did not, huh? >> Even outside, he kept on teasing the cops and berating them, but he was eventually taken to jail, and they charged the man with defiant trespassing, obstruction, and resisting arrest. On the 1st of April, 2026, the cops were dispatched to a restaurant after reportedly, there was a customer there who was trying to dine and dash. It might have been April Fool's Day, but a crime like that is not a harmless prank. >> I'm not saying he's trying to beat the bill. If he is trying to beat the bill, he's trying to beat the bill. You can deal with that from that point. That's a $208 tab, though. It's not a small tab. >> If it's 50 bucks, I would write this off and not really give a [ __ ] I'd just let the runner and save us walk out and call it a day. >> But it's $208 out of my service pocket. So, if you could escort him to get his wallet and bring him back to pay his tab, I would greatly appreciate that. >> Okay. So, here's what I'll do. I'll talk to him, obviously. If he's unable to figure this out here, how how do you feel about him coming back? >> I don't trust him to come back. And the thing is, I have to clear the book tonight. >> Is he intoxicated? >> He's had a few cocktails. He doesn't seem overtly drunk to me. Like, I would still probably serve him one more cocktail without a without a real issue with it. >> Right. >> Um he says he's a programmer. He gave me a number of some colleague to call, but it goes directly to voicemail. It's not a local number. It's an out-of-state number. Um >> What did he do that for? >> So that his colleague can get his wallet for him and bring it down. >> Okay. >> The suspect here, Yevgeny, was polite and cooperative. And he even said the restaurant was a very pleasant place. >> Uh my name is Yevgeny. >> Okay. >> I'm a software engineer. I'm here for kind of a vacation. I'm staying with a colleague of mine down on Truman Street. >> Uh-huh. >> It's probably like a 25-minute walk or maybe a 30-minute walk. >> Mhm. >> Somewhere along the way, probably at the place, I don't know my wallet. >> Okay. >> I checked everywhere. I checked in the bathroom. I I I checked the uh my bag. >> Mhm. What's your name? Do you have ID? >> Uh I I don't have ID. >> You don't have any ID? >> That's correct. >> Okay. Spell your name for me, cuz I have to identify you for the call. >> I'll spell it. Would you mind I have my bag, and it has proprietary information. If I could just grab my bag, >> Sure. >> I will My My apologies for presenting this. >> No, no, no. This I deal with these calls all the time. >> Because Yevgeny was so polite and kind, the manager responded in the very same way. He then offered to collect the man's documents and return them to him once he came back to pay. But there was just one problem, as the man didn't have any real ID on him, not even an ID card or a license to drive. >> Do you have anything with your name on it in there, man? Huh? Do you have anything with your name on it in there, man? >> Like any piece of paper with your name on it, anything that has your physical name on it right now that I can take to hold. Like look in there for me and tell me if you have any piece of paper, anything at all that has your name on it that I can hold to guarantee that you're going to come back for this. >> I'm going to go through it. >> Let's Let's do that. >> to go through it. >> Okay. >> We'll step outside. >> Yeah. Go ahead. >> Okay, and where are you from? Or where's your ID out of? >> Uh my ID >> Uh-huh. >> would be out of uh Massachusetts or California. >> So where do you live now? >> Key West. >> don't have a Florida ID? >> I don't have a Florida ID. >> Uh how long have you been in Key West? >> 2 days. Well, today's my second day. >> Why didn't you bring your your wallet to [music] a restaurant? >> Uh I didn't realize it, believe me. I I I wouldn't walk into a restaurant uh with knowing that that didn't have my wallet in there. >> Okay. All >> So the man could get his wallet, the cop was even willing to drive him to his house. But before he could do that, he wanted to make sure the man hadn't really forgotten it and he wasn't simply scamming the restaurant for a free meal. >> Let's save ourselves some time, me talking to you, okay? If you don't have the money to pay for this, you need to tell me now before I waste law enforcement resources on taking you to the place and bringing you back just for you to come here and say, "Ah, I don't have $28." [music] If that's the case, man, hey, I understand, but I need you to get that out of By now. Because that way I can talk to the manager, we can work something out, okay? But I can't have you waste our time. So, if you don't have the money, just go ahead and say that. Do you have the money? >> I have the money. I don't have it on me. >> So, you have $208 to pay this bill. Because if you don't, it looks like you don't. It looks like you're lying to me. I've done this job for a long time. I know when someone's lying to me. Just tell me now because when I find out you don't have it, it's going to be a bigger problem than if it if you just mess up right now. You don't have Do you have the money? >> Yes. I don't have it on me. >> So, if I take you to 1200 Truman and then I bring you back here, you're going to pay the bill. >> Hopefully. >> Doesn't work for me. Why hopefully? >> Uh he has to be home. >> Huh? >> I don't have the key. >> At that point, Yevgeny said that he not only left his wallet, but he'd also forgotten his keys. The cop then talked to the manager and they both had the same concern. They didn't think the man had the money, so at that point, the manager decided just to trespass him. >> Listen my friend, I'm going to write this out as a walkout. You don't ever come back to this complex again. You don't ever come back to this complex again. You don't ever come to this complex again. All four of these restaurants are connected. I'll be reporting you to all four restaurants. Try to do it properly and we will call the US police on you. Do you understand? >> Don't don't Nope. Do not. >> This cop is going to let you walk on this. >> I'm not going to press charges on you. I'm going to count this as a walkout and I'm going to explain this to my boss tomorrow. You could not pay your bill and you walked out of this restaurant. >> Okay. >> If he takes you to your house right now and you get your money and you come back here and pay, >> Right. >> if you do not come back here and pay, do not come back to this complex. Do you understand? So, can you pay? I'm asking you one time and one time only. >> Let's be adults. >> You dined at my restaurant. My server took excellent care of you. Right? You drank cognac. You had a great time, correct? So, I'm I'm to ask you one more time. After I ask you this question I'm going to make a big choice and I'm going to press charges against you. So be honest with me. Can you pay the bill? Yes or no? Don't say maybe, don't say anything. I'm asking you man to man, person to person. Can you pay the bill? >> Sir, you have the right to remain silent. >> So you can't pay the bill. >> After establishing the fact that the man came to the restaurant knowing that he couldn't pay his bill, the manager was clearly upset. He repeated the trespass warning and he told you Kenny to never come back. >> That is the lobster suit and that's way too tall for you. That is the patio, this is Bell Harbor. Don't come back to any of these properties. Do you understand? You're lucky tonight. I've had a long night and I'm going to let this go. I'm going to count this as a walk out. I'm now going to have to explain this to my boss. You're lucky this guy is in placing you in cuffs because he can absolutely do that for a dining dash. Do you understand? It's $208. That's more than a misdemeanor I believe. I think it falls under another category. Out of that, they would hold you in Monroe County jail. I know that you have Monroe County jail papers in your back. Do you understand that? So I'm not silly. I'm not stupid. I've lived in this town for a long time. You're not my first and you're not going to be my last. Do not come back here again. Do you understand? Thank you. Can you escort him out of the property? >> Yeah, yeah, absolutely. >> Thank you. >> Let's go. >> Keep going. Keep going. >> That was just trespassing on the beach earlier. That was uh >> As he was escorted off the property, he admitted that previously he'd been in jail for trespassing, but that was only a fraction of the truth. When the name he gave the cops failed to return any records, it became very clear that he was hiding something. >> Do you have any weapons in there? >> No. >> Okay. The Monroe County paperwork from the last time you were in jail, I saw your name on it. Show it to me now. >> I'm trying to do that. No, wait. >> Perfect. Let me see it. Give it to me. You know giving a a false name to law enforcement is a crime? >> I I didn't give a false name. >> You did. >> No. >> Yes, you absolutely did. It's literally written wrong. The picture you showed me, I have it right here. My body cam is rolling. You literally gave me a fake name. >> No, no, no. >> Here's your paper. >> No, I didn't give you paper. >> You not move. Yeah, are you serious? Drop that cigarette. Drop it. Stand up. Turn around, put your hands behind your back. >> Um he sat there for several hours and drank several cognacs, doubles. >> Mhm. >> Um Hennessy doubles, $90 worth of cognac. And then had a lobster risotto, uh antipasto plate, and a gelato for dessert. So, he rounded out his meal really well. Um so, I 100% want to press charges on that. Absolutely. My bosses will be so happy that I did this. >> Awesome. >> Uh yeah, I want to press charges. Whatever you need from me, call me tomorrow. I'll probably give you all the info. >> Thanks, man. Appreciate it. >> Absolutely. >> You too. >> Yeah, thanks. >> When the cops ran his real name, they found out he'd been arrested five times before in Florida alone for dining and dashing. He was taken to jail and got a fraud by swindling charge and another charge for defrauding an operator of a food or lodging establishment. Thank you for watching The Hidden Files. And remember, if you're going to eat out, you've got to pay your bill. Thanks again, and we'll see you next time. >> All right, how old are you?
