world decide that it's just better to take luckily in a world full of cameras and security many of these shoplifters are called so stick around as we talk about a shoplifter who thought she was entitled to steal a shoplifter whose shoplifting days ended at Costco okay um Heaven Smith okay what I'm going to need you to do is put your hands behind your back for Mee okay for you being placed under ARR for shling oh and let's not forget about a woman named honesty who wasn't being honest when she was CAU shoplifting with all that said let's get straight into it with our first shoplifter on the 8th of February 2021 a Brook Haven Police Officer responded to a report of a woman who was stealing alcohol and a few other things from a Costco store in Atlanta on the camera footage she was seen walking out of the store with her stolen items luckily a Costco employee was waiting for her and brought her back inside hey hey hello how you doing man good y'all see you again I know look at you just was just here uh ma'am this is uh Miss Heaven from the greater power uh this is my manager Sean my manager D she left the warehouse with these items I leave the Ware can you let them finish first and then I'mma ask you okay C it right the door there okay with these items this is in her hand and these two in her bag okay she has several other items in the bag that she concealed that she had not paid for okay and you can put those on the table Miss heaven was caught red-handed with the stolen goods but as you already know admitting to a crime is much tougher than trying to make up a story to get out of being arrested the manager told the officer that he's planning on pressing charges and here's where our shoplifter gets a bit defensive huh we definely going to press charger okay what's your name he you press charger for you pull the camera oh yeah know theall because I never left your store I never left your store you going to press charg you said she went out the warehouse the door huh inside he the door you can stay with him pull up take okay never left never left the store you didn't no okay I never left the store the door okay you got an ID on you miss heav it's proba you don't have one on you okay so what's the laws huh what is the law the law what is the law because I didn't leave it well that's why he going to look at the video I wasn't here okay they have it on video um I got to go they call 911 I'm here to do a service um but you don't have your ID on you in the car so in America they have this weird law where you have to show ID whenever you buy alcohol if you're not American that must sound a bit weird since in most parts of the world most people never got checked for ID even when they were underage anyway in America no matter what age you are if you're buying alcohol you must show your ID so how did our culprit buy these items if her ID is in the car you purchase wine without an ID I came in which one but he said he said it's is he said it's his now I'm going let him have it he said it's here I never walked out your door walk out the door door so is that their stuff too no this is mine I came in you came in with these it yes okay I've been in the store before I came back in the store I asked the girl at the cor okay so you came to return those the item back okay when did you purchase them last week last week okay the woman tells the officer that she didn't use her membership card to purchase the items last week but it will be in the system and just like us the officer most likely also didn't believe her she asked for Miss Heaven's name and surname but our culprit says that she doesn't have a surname to which the officer replies that she's doing an investigation and needs to get her last name investigation on that shoplifting I shop okay and I'm doing an investigation they're pulling the camera so that's why I'm here okay what's your birthday well when they schol the camera what is your birthday give you that what's your birthday once they finished can I give you that no cuz right now you're obstructing me from doing my job what is your birthday how am IU cuz I'm asking you for important information I need your birthday I'm not trying to make this as difficult as simple as question officer will Cox Ashley okay I got a business card I can give you once your birthday okay once we uh pull that and so you're refusing to give me your information refusing it what is your birthday when he come back and say that I wasn't in the camera would it be okay that really it's it's irrelevant what's your that you used Catherine Smith is that your sister it's relative you have the membership card on you the woman takes out her card and gives it to the employee the officer then continues to question Miss Heaven she asked her when she bought those items and she once again said last week but before she could give more details the manager who went to see what happened on the camera returned sadly for our culprit her story wasn't the truth and while someone else at the back was still pulling the tape for the rest of the items she took there were already two items that she tried to conceal and took out of the store there was also no receipt for any of the items that she allegedly brought back to the store see the conceal no receipt for I'm still pulling the tape for the rest of the items she took okay okay and she just gave the membership card cuz she don't have a membership to the young lady that was sitting around here so she's going to she said she purchased those items last week date unknown yeah and I show you the table she concealed us over in the main hard line okay and also picked it up in in the wine section okay and she made it all the way to pass the checkout no check out just right there at the door where the guy check your card that's not that's not the register yeah was right there it's not outside of the warehouse but you passed all points of SES yeah but it's not at the warehouse she has eggs in there and Salon all this stuff okay but she passed the register the manager takes the officer to see the footage and leaves the shoplifter with an employee in the tape you can clearly see the woman walk past all the registers stop to ask something and continue to walk on see right here go through the register without paying right there went right through the register without paying see mm that register and you going to see her here go she going to go to the front end and stop she going to stop right here like she asking a question see her back there mhm right through the race without paying why she going stopped turn around adjust her bag that's me going out right here in front of her so I can get her stopped see she asked a question the woman hid all the items and walked right out the door as if she just paid for everything luckily the camera's caught everything and you won't believe what she said to the manager when he stopped her she said that she was from a greater power now miss heaven I'm no priest or pastor but I'm sure there's no passage in the Bible where it says it's okay to steal liquor and clothes from your local Costco maybe that's in the New Testament anyway the officer called in for backup and it was time to send Miss Heaven from a greater power to jail how are you good okay um Heaven Smith okay what I'm going to need you to do is put your hands behind your back for me okay okay for you being placed under arrest for shop we not going to show you any camera right now thank you put your hands I'm put your hands together like you praying no no no no no the bracelet I the bra off we'll take off it you guys going to be in big trouble tell you guys going to be in big trouble Miss heaven was taken to the back of a squad car and taken to dacal County Jail she was charged with theft and obstruction and was most likely quite bummed out when she realized she wasn't sent from a greater power her not so righteous actions landed her in jail now in georia the rules of theft differ from other states if you were charged with theft you could find yourself in some real trouble here's what we found on the con and joerger attorney at law site when a theft deals with stolen property valued at $500 or less the crime will be punished as a misdemeanor and can include a fine of no more than $11,000 and a jail sentence of no more than 12 months if the shoplifting involves stolen property valued at over $500 the crime can be punished as a felony depending on the discretion of the judge a fourth shoplifting conviction is a felony and mandates one year in jail officer laam was working extra Duty out of Walmart and observed a woman through the CCTV system select a purse from the Shelf remove the price tag and then place a few other items inside her new purse she passed all the points of sale and left the store but officer Latham was right on her tail and called her back in however someone was not happy she was caught talk about what is it because it's do you have an ID on you no no no but I can tell you my name so so let's stop right now okay I'm stopping you for shoplifting if you want to leave out panties throws them around and then gets mad at the officer for telling her that she shoplifted she can tell all the stor she wants and say that she paid for all the items but she was caught on camera putting items into a purse that she just pulled the tags off there's no way you're getting out of this one there's that Miss Daisy okay this purse does not belong to you this purse belongs to the store I watched you take this off the shelf and turn the tags off these do not belong to you this does not belong to you oh why should you put this inside the purse please don't grab any of the stolen merchandise please don't grab anything out of the purse okay go ahead you got Dad thank you I can go on to my wallet no you cannot not right now what do you mean because I've stopped you for a lawful a thief not all murderers were murderers before they started murdering she was caught stealing that day and now she can't just get up and walk out like she wanted to why do I not get the leave because and tells her to take a seat after what just happened she quickly sat down she keeps on yelling about a refund so she can leave the Walmart but after all that Ruckus the only place she's going to see is the back of the cop car in the county jail go to work tomor get my now I'm done where you me on my have a seat where you s me on my face my have a seat my face is killing me have a seat now don't not get up all right uncuff me Dan you supposed to handle a woman like that after another eventful few moments another officer joined in two officers were still not enough to keep her in line she's back on her feet again yelling at the officers and had to be placed in the seat once more she tells the officers they should just give her refund so she can leave she then yells that she wasn't ever arrested especially not for something as Petty as panties in a purse so how many things has she sto stolen that's the real question she keeps on asking for her money back and her daddy who's a lawyer to come and help her the officers fill out some paperwork and try to get her to calm down one officer asked her what medication she uses but just like everything else the officers have done she gets a bit riled up luckily this time she stayed in her seat for the majority of it you she that is eating me I can't I can't you she that I got red marks no I can't I don't see it your shirt over okay your shirt over and then my shirt is my jacket because she slam me in my face that's why he made my flip come out cuz I'm over him straight up what kind of medication I don't take no medication what do you mean you're not diagnosed no do I look like I'm diagnosed with anything because I'm a black woman he she is and she very off what do you mean I have anxxiety I don't know I'm just I'm happy right now I'm ready to go I I a never been back here in no office nothing that's never happened I just sat up there and talk to the girl at that she Se Me ring up every and you talk about oh I ring up all my f late to pay for the purse and just because you're not from the ghetto doesn't mean you can't steal she then tells the cop that she hopes his wife likes what he does to women and he tells her that he doesn't like women and she tells him that it shows he tells her that he loves his mother and his great grandmother and she pops out with another comeback Grand M I bet you do that's the only love you going to get and where's my Pur your wallet's right here no my purse that purse belongs to Walmart ma'am your other purse is still in the store where you set it at okay go get it I'm not going to do that if you're not going to go get it then what you want me I'm not concerned with the purse that you came in with now okay what do you want me here that's my question again you're here for shoplifting that's what I told you when I first stopped you not shoplifting cuz I ain't scann three pennies in the purse before I everything else what you you want the money for it let me go it's not complaining about what the officer did to her and continued to go on about not resisting arrest she tells the officers that she had just gotten a new job at a hotel and an urgent care and that she doesn't want to lose them however she didn't think of her job when she was shoplifting now did she after quite a bit of running in circles and yelling at the cops and the cop doing his paperwork she's finally told that she's been trespassed from that Walmart for a year she's then taken away to a waiting police officer's vehicle but sadly she didn't go peacefully for a year I'm not [ __ ] not asking you and not being here again okay and you'll be arrested they don't know me okay I'll be here I will arrest you you can't be here and you don't know me I will arrest you I changed my hairstyle you the EMTs and told her that she would see a nurse at the police station this however did not calm her down and only made her more aggravated the officer secured her seat belt but she repeatedly tried to take it off ultimately the officers decided that even if she takes off her seat belt that's on her and they're done wasting their time so it's off to jail they go she was charged with resisting an officer without violence and theft at a total of $326 as the officer drove away you could hear her screaming from the back seat poor guy must have had a hell of a ride honesty and her male partner in crime were called stealing from a dollar store now now as you've seen with our previous shoplifter people go crazy however honesty wasn't crazy even after an explosive Outburst from her boyfriend and she was quite Cooperative with the officers oh yeah and by the way that Hey Arnold shirt looks amazing uh well we got a we got a call here okay we got a call here from management and um you know they said that they have you guys been uh trying to uh take the the tags off the the clothes okay okay you have something in your sock there sir turn around the other way where's my lottery tickets oh your lottery tickets okay what else is down there don't do anything stupid okay the man took something out of his sock and tried to hide it but the cops knew what he was trying to do and quickly put a stop to it one officer grabbed his arm while the other PRI his hand open to reveal well you probably already guessed what he was trying to conceal luckily after a threat of being tased he quickly showed baby underwear and concealer the officer tells honesty that unless she does something stupid she'll just get a citation and then she could just go about her business as if nothing had happened sadly honesty's story did not end right there that night honesty was honest about what she took and told the officers that there was more underwear in her bra and then she was escorted outside of the store in her Pockets yeah she says it's from here underwear their kids underwear this I don't know what it is this it's from here also right yeah okay you're going to get a citation as long as you don't do anything stupid and you're going to go about your business okay okay I just needed some underwear and I we'll figure through this but like I said some more in my bra you have more clothing in your bra uh is they going to pick you back up when you call them or text them yeah okay it's not necessary if you guys would have just talked to us and done what we asked you guys would have received a criminal trespass warning and gone about your business none of this would have happened but his actions dictated this what's your first name young lady what is it honesty h o n e s t y yes last name a really want to go down this route at the end of this conversation honesty cracked and told the officer her boyfriend's name now we'd love to hear what you think about this situation were the officers in the wrong or did they do the right thing honesty was told that she could keep quiet but they then told her that she'd be in trouble if she didn't give them the information they wanted at least they explain that to I will here in a minute the officer did in fact not answer her question then and called in for a female officer to search honesty the officer took honesty to a cop car and placed her inside here she was once again told that she shouldn't touch anything in the car or else it would be tampering with evidence in another car they were questioning Albert telling him to tell the truth and they'd let Honesty go with just a citation however Albert did not comply and the officers talked about what they're going to do with him as they were talking another issue for honesty came to light or obstructing either way cuz there's the there's the tempering misdemeanor you want copy posi she has once go ahead she has a non extrait 40 out of Al Paso for looks like Bale secured bond with the original charge of code 16 it's not EXT the and she surrendered on an ID C whether or not honesty knew about the warrants or not she still had them and even if her boyfriend did everything the officers asked she would still have to have been booked and taken to Jail the officer said that she tried to tamper with evidence and that honestly didn't help her case after a short while as the officers were talking a female cop arrived to search honesty she has stuff stuffed in her clothing which I have 972 removing at this time guy has warrants girl has ones so requesting Metro do you have a bronze yeah right SP [Music] oh that's just a knot on your shirt it separate you for me no face that way separate you anything inside the shoes are those socks from here here no these are my go ahead and put your slippers in the officer removed all the stolen items from honesty and they made their way to the manager of the store the manager tells them that they came into the store about 20 minutes past 5 and that they were in the store for around 10 minutes he told the officer that Albert was acting weird in the store and when Albert saw him he quickly made his way to the back of the shop the officer and manager talked for a bit and the manager tells him that he saw them remove the tags and that he had it all on video it's also revealed that Albert had had four warrants and honesty had only one the officers also found drugs in their bag and one even tried to make a move on the female officer lunch I need lunch so do I we get him outside he has like four warrants the girl has a warrant we verify what was in that bag the bag has meth what looks like heroin and six blues uh the girl had a bunch of uh property still stuffed in her clothes so so I got her for shoplifting obstructing tampering cuz we had to tell her multiple times to get away and you could see her on camera trying to kick was he injured at all or not at all I got and trying to conceal it and tamper with it while we were present the officers charged her with shoplifting and obstructing and she had that warrant man honesty had a bad day she could also be charged with tampering if the officers wanted because she kicked the bag under a pile of clothes in an attempt to hide it Metro didn't care about honesty and only wanted to take in Albert so the officers took her to the DC also the officers finally got the total of all the items that they took the total was $20.80 before tax the cops made their way to honesty to tell her what she was charged with and that she had an outstanding warrant confirmed War uh for concealing sing identity are you sure I went to court on those and they dropped my charges you going have to take it up with the judge again yeah that's very weird yeah judge it was Municipal oh so it was the magistrate what is Municipal do you guys Municipal yeah the city court okay do you have outand case pending for like traffic stop or shoplifting or something probably a previous shoplifting I'm just going to guess right um I think it's concealing any too it's concealing en all all right so no injuries okay honesty honestly had a rough night she was caught by the cops as she was shoplifting had a bag full of drugs and had an outstanding warrant she was taken to jail placed in a cell and was processed and booked her boyfriend's cigarettes drugs and razors were all confiscated and thrown away poor guy even lost his lighter luckily he got to keep his winning lottery ticket all in all we've seen some crazy shoplifters one beli she was sent from a higher power while another one thought she could just take stuff from Walmart because she was entitled to it honesty had an outstanding warrant and hid items in her bra but there's one thing they all
