wrong person and regretted it let's begin with this interaction between a citizen who very well knew his rights and St Mary's County sheriff and Maryland State Police on May 21st 2023 the officers without consent searched his vehicle but the subject is immediately confrontational refusing to unlock his doors and questioning the reason for the search he repeatedly ask the officers to provide justification asserting that they have no valid reason to enter his car one officer claims that the vehicle smells like marijuana which they cite as probable cause for the search but the citizen protests pointing out that marijuana is about to become legal on July 1st though another officer clarifies that the law has not yet gone into Effect one officer Grant with the badge number 412 with the St Mary's County Sheriff who happened to be a rookie tried framing him up falsely stating that he had encountered the citizen before more officers arrived the scene and here is the interaction but the backup came and they all sh still filming on his mobile phone the citizen highlights the inconsistencies in the officer's reasons for stopping him listing multiple excuses they have given including that he failed to stop at an intersection and that he was speeding though they never specified how fast he was going he accuses them of changing their story to justify their actions one officer Maryland state trooper Cody holder badge number 755 remarks on the amount of clutter in the his vehicle further agitating him the citizen sarcastically engages with the officers questioning their motives and the legitimacy of their actions he also references larger societal issues criticizing law enforcement as a whole and accusing them of harassment already recorded on the time he pull to take the matter to court asserting that he will use video evidence to challenge the legality of the Stop and search before leaving he makes several inflammatory remarks cursing at the officers and expressing his contempt for them one officer maintaining professionalism wishes him a good day but that he dismisses the officer with further insults in July bro and listen it like I said it don't got nothing to do with you you or you marijuana is legal in July right so if he did find marijuana here July 1st they going what they going to throw it out right no not necessarily so I I think like I think theoretically they could so if I got if I if you caugh me with a gr of marijuana right and I went to court July 1 everybody that got if it's not a felony everybody that got marijuana convictions this next case in a video posted on February 10 2022 two Boulder Colorado cops tried to pull a fast one on an educated citizen by claiming they had reasonable suspicion that he was drinking alcohol in public even though he was clearly drinking a can of Pepsi knowing his rights and refusing to be intimidated the citizen stood his ground arguing with the cops and exposing their Bluff humiliated they had no choice but to walk away in embarrassment here's how this encounter unfolded hey gentlemen how you doing tonight great what you got there man what do you mean uh what kind of Beverage is that 18th 20124 an educated citizen has a tense encounter with two entitled officers from the Apple Valley Police Department the officers apprehended him based on a report that he was peeking into people's cars but he quickly schooled them on his right to film in public desperate to find a reason to charge him the officers pressed on but their efforts backfired the citizen refused to answer their questions declined to provide identification and confidently educated them on First Amendment laws leaving them no choice but to take the Walk of Shame here's how the interaction unfolded [Music] not with an army veteran and immediately regretted it this is an interaction involving Mr O'Shea Jackson an army veteran and two officers Officer Hall badge 38 and officer Wilson badge 304 officer Hall had confronted Mr Jackson while he was parked near a business banding his ID without Reasonable Suspicion of a crime Mr Jackson firmly refuses asserting his rights and questioning the legality of the stop despite officer Hall's repeated demands Mr Jackson stood his ground challenging the officer's authority to detain him without cause and dominated the scene standing on his rights as he fatally schooled and humiliated officer hall for his poor policing here's the interaction that occurred leaving officer Hall immediately regretting his actions what are you doing here none of your business in the door he's got me dead right you know now it is legal now he he caught me in the commission of a crime now the secondary charge just fell into ID because now he caught me with my hand a Second Officer officer Wilson arrived and engages in a more composed manner addressing Mr Jackson by name however the situation remains tense as Mr Jackson continues to demand his right to leave without unwarranted interference he accuses the officers of escalating the situation rather than de-escalating it the encounter intensifies when Mr Jackson points out that he is armed further pressing the officers to justify their continued detainment after a long heated exchange the officers back down and Mr Jackson is allowed to leave without further incident as for officer Hall he was put right in his place and thoroughly humiliated that he couldn't utter a word in his defense but this isn't the last time cops regretted messing with the wrong person as we see in this next case on March 14th 2024 officer Henry Chapman responded to assist an officer during a traffic stop involving a driver who was allegedly speeding and had an outstanding Federal arrest warrant the warrant specified that the suspect had personal cash amounting to to $ 7,911 which came into officer Chapman's possession as he transported the driver to the University City division team office once at the office officer Chapman requested another officer to transport the suspect to jail an apparent attempt to pocket some of the cash by hiding it in his vehicle however the suspect quickly caught onto the scheme and separated my money he was trying to steal it and I caught he put it in between his leg and as his as his colleagues approached me he worked it towards the door he tried to make it seem like I was lying I'm not going anywhere I'm in full custody of of of of these officers I'm being detained I'm not going anywhere I don't want any problems I'm not armed I didn't do anything wrong I was just pulled over before a traffic stop he just tried to steal some of my money officer Chapman had appeared nervous and fidget Ed inside his vehicle before stepping out and emptying his pockets stating he didn't have any money however the suspect pointed out the money in the door pocket of Chapman's Patrol vehicle the sergeant found $900 in the door pocket as confirmed by the suspect busted officer Chapman who had denied knowledge of the money's presence later admitted to taking the money claiming he had no intention of stealing it he subsequently apologized to the sergeant and two other sergeants I just wanted you guys to believe me and I'm sorry if I seemed I rate or there's another dollar in your pocket or I'm sorry if I seem like I was doing too much I just wanted you guys to believe me without me having to do anything like to show you guys you feel saying like try to grab him or try to like reach in his car and grab the money while I heard it you feel I'm saying and I
