Roll over. I'm going to push my roll over. Roll over. >> I'm pressing charges. >> Then do I get to press charges for everything >> outside? >> Seriously, you got nothing better to do? I didn't see it. >> Really? >> Arguments can escalate fast and even more so when respect is replaced with anger and intimidation. And when that line gets crossed, it has consequences. Like when an abusive son thinks he can bully his mother but gets humbled by non nonsense police. >> Hey you, Jamal. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. [snorts] >> What happened to your face? >> No, I was loose. Take it. I was >> on the 12th of March 2024, the cops were dispatched to a residence after reportedly a man attacked his mother and destroyed her property while under the influence of synthetic marijuana. >> Hey, darling. >> Is it Jvita? Is that okay? My son over there don't came here and I told my mother I told him get up out I ain't know who came through the door. I said who was in my living room cuz I keep my door unlocked with my grandkid when they get out. >> He said me mom I went out call police mom call police call. I'm about to die. Look how he don't talk my house. He tore my table. He tore up my carpet cleaner. He tore up the whole he right there in my GODDAMN WALL TOILET AND I'M TIRED OF go get his I don't want no goddamn >> Does he live here? >> No, he don't live here. He he he live anywhere he can lay his goddamn head cuz he on and I don't want to be around him. I love him but I don't trust him. >> Jvita told the officers that not only did her son Jamal trash her home, but he had also struck her and knocked her to the ground. Furthermore, she told the cops she wanted him taken to jail to teach him a lesson. Since Jamal was at a friend's place just across the street, the cops made their way over there to confront him. >> Police. >> Hey, good afternoon. >> How are you, Jamal? >> Yes, sir. Okay. >> What happened to your face? >> I was laced. >> Sigy. >> I was laced. >> She was what? >> I was laced. >> Laced? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Are you coming down now? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Are you okay to talk to us? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. You come to sitting on these steps right here? >> Yes, sir. >> Jamal was in really bad shape, but luckily for him, paramedics were on the way. His mother mentioned he had a drug problem and from the moment he answered the door, it was clearly evident. He seemed mentally unclear, so getting answers from the man was challenging. >> Okay. Who's your mom? >> Jita. >> Okay. Have you uh have you been over there today? >> No. >> Okay. No, you hadn't been over there today. Okay. >> Um when you say you were laced, what drugs were you using? It was synthetic. >> Synthetic >> synthetic marijuana. >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. When did you use that? >> You don't know? Okay. How long have you been out of it? >> You're unsure. Was it at some point today? Was it sometime last night? Or when can you give me a ballpark? When you use >> Given his current state, there was no way the cops were going to get anything out of him. All he could really tell them was that he was high and that [music] was basically it. According to him, everything was just a big blur. >> He's saying that he stays at nearly apartments, but I mean, I think he's staying over here at Cold Ridge. He's saying that he smoked synthetic marijuana. doesn't know a time frame of when he had smoked said marijuana and has a pretty good gash over his eye. >> Um, >> that we're not attributing to this. >> Do what? >> The gash. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's glass broken in there. Yes. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So, that'd be the that be the makeup thing. >> Um, and then a brother that I haven't identified stated that he didn't see anything occur, nothing. But um just saw him out here and then mom's the one that said that he was at >> number 335 apartment one. >> As far as synthetic marijuana goes, it's been known to cause psychosis. As a result, the cops wanted to know where he got it from, but as you might have guessed, he either couldn't or was unwilling to provide any answers. >> When's the last time you smoked? >> It been a minute. >> It been a minute. Like years. >> When you say a minute, what does that mean? Is that like an hour ago? 20 minutes ago. >> No, I'm telling you like I smoke >> because I don't smoke period. >> Yeah. So, you're saying that you didn't smoke for two years? >> Yeah. >> And then you smoked today? >> Yeah. I smoke I didn't know I smoke in the morning. >> Okay. >> I know two years two years >> with somebody else. >> Yeah. >> Where at here? >> Like in the apartments? Yeah. Who are you with? >> I mean, they might be having the same reaction that you're having if they were if you were laced. You know, we want to make sure that they're okay and >> they may be in trouble and need our help and >> not get to us. So, if you can tell us who they are, where they are, that can help us figure out if they need help. >> EMS arrived on scene to check on his injuries and also assess his mental state. By that point, Jamal was so sedated that he was pretty much falling asleep on the staircase. [music] Eventually, between the cops and the paramedics, they managed to get him down to the landing and then onto a stretcher. >> You don't know what was in the the marijuana he smoked? You know, it was synthetic. >> How about you walk? >> Okay, I got you. >> Lace. >> It was lace. Yeah. All right. Well, how about we go out to the truck? We'll talk about it some more. Check your bottles, patch you up above your eye where you're hurt, and take you to the hospital and get you checked out. All right. You think with some help you can walk out there >> if we support you? >> Hey. Hey, watch out. He's going to go forward. >> Come on. Be careful. >> All right. Have a seat. Right up high in that crack. Be comfortable for you there. >> What hospital you want to go to, Mr. So tell me doors are locked. She in the back. She heard this banging. She's like she say he was back. >> They loaded the man into the back of an ambulance and then to the hospital. The cops then went back to his mother's house to collect some evidence and document the damage he caused. Yeah, I'm going to take some pictures of everything. >> I had no fixed it up and put my bill and stuff on there. It don't tow all that down. >> All this in here. >> That stand right there. But that tire had all my stuff like that. My pl stuff to all that. >> Okay. Man, I'm so sick of his. >> Oh yeah, I think I am cuz they don't make no damn sick you coming here. You don't did that. Come up here and tap my goddamn house like this. I'm trying to get King the whole time. King looking at him like he damn crazy. But he starts picking up slam bunch of hoes in my goddamn mama mama. He call I don't smoke cig. The cops got a written statement from the woman and it was clear his behavior was becoming a pattern. The whole family was sick of his antics and wanted Jamal to go to rehab to get some help. >> And he was trying to get out and I was in his way. I was trying to get out, but he a big when he did like this. He grabbed me all up at the same damn time. >> I don't know what the hell but he going to do your jump and come up. You could have went you could have went on that poison bounc and talk like you talking about >> make no damn sense, man. I'm tired of >> Before I forget, this is your information. Um, because you all share a family violence relationship. Um, it's because you're a parent and child, [snorts] you are entitled to certain rights. And so that pamphlet covers a whole bunch of stuff. Um, so just read through it when you have a chance. Then it's got your case number, which is at the bottom, my name, my badge number, and then the date. So, just go through it when you have a chance. >> The whole scene was unfortunate as well as ridiculous. Addiction and drugs can ruin a family. Let's just hope the man gets the help that he needs. On June 28th, 2025, the cops were dispatched to a residence after reportedly a man had assaulted his sister and threatened his father with a baseball bat. >> You call? >> I did. >> Okay. Um, I have an adult brother who see [music] >> Okay. >> for a while. >> Um, >> and he is mad that we went in his room and took his uh beer pants away last [music] night and then he's we also moved the car that he typically drives. >> Okay. >> Because it's owned by my dad and he's driven it intoxicated before. >> He just tried to twist my fingers. He's being abusive. >> Step step over to this side real quick. >> Excuse me. >> Can you just step over here real quick? >> I'm going to get a chair and I'll be happy to. >> Awesome. Thank you. >> I know why you're here. Probably because of her. That's fine. >> Somebody called. What's your name? >> She did. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Jason. >> Jason. Give me a second. Okay. Give me one second. All right. >> As he waited for backup to arrive, the cop told Jason to hang tight. In the meantime, Jason and his sister were pointing fingers at each other over just who had started the argument. He's the one I called. I know. I'm not. >> Yeah, I did. Because you told both mom, dad, and myself [music] that you were going to end us and we were dead. >> No, did not see that. >> He actually took a bat and >> I was I took a bat, but I didn't even touch you with that. >> As far as physically, everybody okay? [music] >> I don't I'm having trouble breathing, but it's okay. >> You need paramedics? >> No, I do. >> Okay. What was your name again? Sorry. >> Jason. >> Jason, come here. Talk to me over here. Come. >> Hello. So, I'm the one that called. Um, he is intoxicated. My parents have to deal with him or he's not speaking. Some sort of agreement that he could be um evacicted. Sorry. He is mad because my dad and I this morning took the truck that he drives, which is in my dad's name, um, and parked it elsewhere because he drives when he's drunk. >> The sister stated that when she went to the man's room to take his alcohol away, he lost his temper and flew into a rage. She told the cops he got physical with her, grabbing her by her hair and her wrist and shoving her against a wall. He also took a baseball bat to my dad. >> Like threatened him with it. Yeah. >> Or he didn't obviously hit you, right? >> What? >> He didn't hit you obviously. He just >> No, he took a bat though and he was threatening me. [clears throat] >> He didn't hit He did hit me. >> He did hit me. >> And I'm sorry, but I've been through this with him a few times. >> Every time he drinks, it gets violent. And I I told myself I would never deal with this again cuz I wasn't in an abusive relationship with someone in the bathroom. And so I don't care at this point. I don't even care that my brother. >> And then so when he shoved you, did you fall to the ground or you just kind of >> hit the wall? >> He fell into a wall. Okay. >> The officer interviewed her further specifically regarding how her brother assaulted her. While that was going on, another officer was busy getting Jason's side of the story. >> What was what's going on today? I got up this morning. >> Mhm. >> It was 10:30ish. >> Okay. >> I didn't sleep that good the the night before. >> Okay. >> And I saw them come in my room. I didn't see them physically come in my room and there was a door open. So I'm like, why are you coming in my room? >> Okay. >> I mean >> this morning. >> Sometime this morning. I don't know what time that was, >> right? >> I'm like, what did you come in my room for? There's no reason for to come in my room. I'm sleeping. >> Sleeping. >> So they they invaded your personal space. What happened after that? >> So I went to see my dad. Why did you come by my room for it? >> Was your dad and your sister here? >> And my sister was Well, he said my sister went in there, too. >> To be honest, they sounded like troubled teenagers who'd been fighting each other. But they were full grown siblings whose argument had escalated, and they needed their elderly father to break things up. Some people just never grow up. took told my sister, "You're going to come in my come with me to go to talk to my dad and why did you come in my room when I was sleeping?" >> So, you want to talk to your dad? Okay. >> And >> she she's she didn't want to come in there. >> So, I just grabbed her by her shirt. >> No, no, no, no. I I grabbed her by her shirt. >> You do it without touching me. Okay. That's fine. >> And she she wouldn't come. So, I'm like, "What? Well, I just want to know why did you come in my room without >> Okay. >> my permission." >> Okay. and she denied it. So I'm like, "Okay, fine. Whatever." >> Okay, >> that's it. >> That's it. >> Okay. So, you grab it by the shirt. Is that what you're saying? >> Yeah. >> Cuz uh she said that he grabbed it by the wrist. And I didn't hear your dad what he was saying, but that you grabbed the dad by the wrist also. >> Jason claimed that he made physical contact with her, but said he'd only put his hand out and said, "Let's go talk to dad." Essentially, he was saying that she took his hand so he could lead her to her father's room, which seems strange and also a bit sugarcoated. >> So, what's the solution going to be here? The >> solution is I'm not going to do anything. >> I just want to sit lay in my room and watch TV. That's all I want to do. >> And your sister's staying here right now, too? >> Yes. >> Okay. Um, where's your mom? >> She's in there, too. >> Okay. Is she okay? >> She's fine. Okay. >> Well, the thing is is I see signs. You know, you have some redness on your neck. you know, obviously you're um you know, what he did was uh basically domestic battery, you know, of an insulting nature where he physically, you know, um so I'm going to have to arrest him. Um he's going to go out to the county and he can't come back here for minimum of 3 days and then after that >> I'll be back. you could decide what you guys want to do, whether you get uh order protection, you know, things of that nature, uh to keep them away. Um or, you know, uh yeah, so you basically have 3 days to figure out what what what's next after everything is just settled and you know, talk to your parents and and then uh see what's next. Okay, so that's what's going to happen and then uh should be good. Okay. >> Yes. >> All right. Jason thought he was going to get off the hook, but it quickly became apparent that wasn't the case. Even if she didn't want to press charges, the cops were obligated to do so on behalf of the state. >> Did you Did you grab uh Did you grab her by the shirt and push her and like >> I grab her I grabbed her after. I'm not going to lie. Because I wanted her to talk to me and my dad why they came in my room while I was sleeping. >> That was it. That's all I >> Yeah, but you know that's a domestic, right? Mhm. >> It's a domestic battery basically. You can't grab people by the shirt and push them and drag them way through. >> I understand that, but there's been many times both of them have done that to me and I've never called the cops. So, >> well, unfortunately, you know, >> we're here and uh I have to place you under arrest. Okay. >> So, turn around. >> I'm not going there. I am not You have anything in your pockets? >> No, I don't. Okay. >> Can I talk to my dad? >> No. >> No. >> Why? >> Cuz you're under arrest. >> Bring your lights at all. >> Sure. >> Take your time. Sit inside. It's more comfortable. It's fine. He might have thought they were overreacting, but sadly for this guy, domestic abuse is no joke. With Jason secured in the back of a squad car, the cops talked further with his father, who reiterated to them that it was the alcohol's fault. >> Um, he needs alcohol treatment. I would actually uh he went for 30 days and he came home after a couple weeks and started drinking again and uh he needs to go back for some kind of alcohol treatment. >> Yeah. Well, hopefully, you know, unfortunately no one could force it unless he wants it. So force it >> is take it to Yeah. So, was he going to he's going to go out to the county? And >> if you guys have to write up a report, I would highly recommend you ask a judge to that he needs to have alcohol treatment. >> Yeah. I I'll note it, you know, that he's obviously this is why it started, you know, was over his alcohol. You know, >> it's he's you know, truthfully, when he's not drinking, he's the nicest guy in the world, but when he's drinking alcohol, he turns into this evil guy. >> Yeah. And I'm sorry that frankly you have to go through it >> or any of my family. I'm just sick of it. >> It's our job. So you're not you're not troubling us in any way. Okay. >> I'm just sick of it. >> Let's hope Jason grows up a bit and gets the help that he needs. As far as this case goes, it could have been a whole lot worse. On the 21st of January 2024, the cops were dispatched to a residence due to a domestic dispute. When the officers got there, they tried to talk to the woman who made the call, but they were blocked temporarily by her very aggressive partner. This >> crazy, bro. Like crazy. >> Hey, nothing going on. >> Okay. >> Hey, can you please try Hey, don't come nowhere further than this. >> Please come and man, you don't have to go nowhere. This my This my Don't go nowhere. I'm talking to you. Listen, I just You don't have to go. >> I'm going go shut my door lock, >> bro. I just said don't go in my house. I just I just said that. Hey man, please come over here, bro, cuz you you work for the county jail and these police trying to sit here and play me like a So call them the charge now cuz you work at the county. Like call them now, man. Please, man. Please, man. You my cousin. I love you. Please call them, >> man. No, you cannot. I just pulled up. >> I'm not doing this. >> It was a chaotic scene, and by that point, understanding what was going on was nearly impossible. The cops really wanted to talk to the man, but he was way too busy talking on his phone and arguing with his partner inside. Basically, it was a whole lot of talking and no listening. >> Sir, here's the thing. She called and just listen, >> man. Can you please talk to her? >> Can you listen to Can you please talk to them? >> Can you listen to me, >> man? I don't have to listen to nobody. I just She acted like this. I ain't g, bro. I ain't doing her, >> man. No. Look at Man, get off my property. GET OFF MY PROPERTY, >> BRO. GET OFF MY PROPERTY. I STAY here just on that, bro. All right. All right. Hey, man. Man, please call your sergeant, sir. >> Please, for the county, please call. SO, COME OUT HERE BEFORE I GO TO jail up, man. My cousin that work at the county, all that. >> We're not the county. >> Yeah. Okay. So, what work for him? >> No, we don't. >> The man was behaving like an absolute lunatic. However, there was no need for his aggression. Like the officer said, it was his partner who had called them. So, the cops were there to check on her. What this guy needed to do was step aside and let the cops do their job. >> We need to talk to her. This came in as a fight. We're not fight. Just listen to me. >> Listen to me. Listen for just listen to me. This came as a fighter. >> Get mad. >> Just listen to me. >> All right. Bye. >> Listen. >> Bye. One more chance. >> I can't I got to move to her, man. I know my rights. I ain't got a this my Hey, bro. Hey, that's turn around. >> Hey, this Hey, bro. Get the Hey, bro. Get the off the ground. Roll over on your stomach. Roll over on your stomach. >> Roll over on your stomach. >> I go push my eyes. >> Roll over. >> Roll over. >> Roll over. >> It was about the dumbest thing he could have done, and there was absolutely no need for it. When the cops respond to a call, they have a lawful right to be there and ask questions, and you're expected to comply with them and answer those questions. SAY >> give me other hand. >> Give me the other hand. >> All right. Hey, MAN. BEAT HIM. THEY BEAT HIM. THEY BEAT HIM. Roll over. >> Roll over. >> Roll over. >> Roll over. >> Get your hands behind your back. >> Get your hands behind your back. >> Whatever he put his partner through before the cops arrived must have been bad. And she was more than okay with how the cops were handling things, cheering them on as they tased the man and wrestled with him. >> All right, don't worry about your job. I >> don't I got >> Hey, I got >> Get the I got [laughter] a worry about it. >> Don't worry about it. >> Stop fighting, man. >> Stop fighting. >> Come on. Let's go. >> Stop fighting. >> Come on. Let's go. I got coverage, >> right? Don't worry about it. >> Hey, go over here until you chill out. >> It was a lengthy fight, but the cops eventually secured the suspect in cuffs. He was whining about police brutality, but in reality, he'd been warned several times to comply, and he resisted the officers every step of the way. Man, I've been in prison three times, bro. I know my race, bro. I'm 38, bro. I don't been in prison since I was 18. Listen, leave me right here, bro. It's camera's right there. All my people next door. Look at all my puss, bro. Don't pick me up. Leave me right here. You know what I'm saying? Leave me right. You know what I'm saying? Look what he doing. Look at my face. They have me handcuffs. T my face. Look at my camera, man. All I'm ask What they going to do? I'm going shoot the out. I'm ask the store before y'all put me in the back car cuz I just left the bar and I just pulled up at y start my truck and see that the gauge on the thing is still hot. All I'm saying I came in there, she caught him while we was arguing. You know what I'm saying? And that's what they did to me. Punch me all in my face. >> The suspect here just couldn't seem to calm down. Then again though, it was kind of understandable because the man's adrenaline must have been pumping pretty hard. Next, the officer searched him and put him in the back of a cruiser. >> That's what I'm saying. Tasman everything, bro. >> You can't come over here. >> What's your name, bro? >> Look how doing >> Listen, you got it too, bro. If you kick me, listen. >> You said if I get in the car, you trusting me. >> Listen, >> bro. You said if I was going to make you alive. >> WE JUST HAD TO push you inside of the car. >> Yes, we did. Listen, you got to chill cuz if YOU KICK THIS DOOR, YOU won't get pepper spray. I trying to pepper spray you. All right. >> The cops warned the man several more times that if he continued kicking and causing a scene, they were going to hit him with the pepper spray. To give the man some time to calm down, they went inside to talk to his partner and get to the bottom of what had happened. >> Okay, we was we was over here earlier today. My friend came over, you know, he was drinking or whatever, but I did he wanted to go somewhere and I didn't want to go. He like I had enough. So I laid down and I said [snorts] I said bring you bring my car to me. He's like I bring you okay call the police. I actually get keys like a give me nothing. So I called 911 and I talked to the lady. He's screaming in the background. So he end up calling himself talking to the lady screaming. I sat there and he's waiting to come. I see a light. So I thought I seen it was y'all coming. So he he jumped up like Yeah, let me let him in. Whatever. So he went out to the truck like by the truck trying to greet him [snorts] or whatever and they were trying to tell him they need to talk to me and he talk to me. He block he got up here and blocking the screen. I had called him. He was on the phone yelling there was somebody whatever and I think I heard him pull up. So I looked or whatever like yeah mother ain't here. So he tried to run out the door and he went by the truck or whatever and he tried to stop him. So coming up here and they was still was like 10 they got to talk to me. So he blocking the doorway, right? You want him let him in. I was to tell the officer, you know, y come to the back. So the officer like we still got to talk to her. Still got to talk to her. He said, "You know what's right. Y'all can't come in the house. You can't come house." And when tried to walk up to the thing where that's when the physical got the alteration got going on. >> The paramedics arrived and he was taken out of the squad car so they could examine his injuries. Unfortunately, he was still firing on all cylinders and getting the medical attention he required was nearly impossible. >> Hey, check this out. Hey, let them let them check these cameras. Check the camera for the time that let them check you out though, my man. >> They pressed on me. They did this. I understand. I understand. Look, I understand. Look at my video. My camera did last night. They came. Look at my video. If my camera look they did to me. So what I'm going to do about that telling me to be quiet too. What you going to do about y your partners? >> What yall going to do about that? >> I'm trying to help you out. >> They need to look at you, man. Can Can you comment? You're going to ask questions. We need to make sure you medically good. >> Sit down. Have a seat. >> I'm trying I'm trying to get him to talk to you cuz I see that's the only way it's going to happen. >> You need to listen. >> I need to say that's why I needed I need him to talk to you. No. >> No. Cuz you ass man, can they check you out real quick? >> Well, folks, let that be a lesson. When you're given a lawful command by police, the best course of action is to comply with them. And whatever you do, don't fight them back. On the 2nd of May 2025, the cops were dispatched to a residence after a mother and father called in saying their daughter had violated a protection order. According to reports, she'd been served the order several months before after forcibly entering her parents' home and damaging their property. >> Ly still inside. >> Hi, thanks. >> She's destroying the house inside. The canary is banging. We just came out here cuz I was afraid she would hit us. >> Okay. So, so she's just throwing stuff around and breaking it. I assume I'm too afraid to go. >> Sorry. He's afraid right here. >> He's afraid. Um I was too afraid to work to be honest. I was just throwing stuff around. >> Gotcha. >> All right. And um has has she violated the order in the past? >> No, she's she's been pretty good, but >> she was living in a sober living house, but then she got kicked out of there, and we're not sure what the story is really sketchy from there. And um I I don't know what she's been up to. We got her a hotel to stay at for a while because she couldn't stay here. And then I I don't know. >> PC order violation. >> The mother said her daughter Lacy had shown up and asked to take a shower. But after her mother wouldn't let her in, Lacy barged right in and started destroying things. As a result, the cops got to work putting a plan together to get the woman. >> We'll go to the front. If you just want to hang back here. >> I'll just watch this. You guys hang out there. Make sure you get solid PC. Okay, good girl. If it's misdemeanor, felony. And once we get more people here, we'll just work on getting her in custody. >> Hands on TL. Does that work? >> No. Once more people get here, I'm going to rotate out and take over the dog side of it. >> Okay, sounds good. >> Police officers, Lacy, you're under arrest. Come out through the front door. >> Do you have her phone number, Woo? >> No. That's why I said somebody should try to get her phone number and just call her to tell her to come outside. >> That's what they're trying to do now. >> First thing, >> Lacy, you're under arrest. Come out or force will be used against you. >> Despite their repeated attempts to get her attention, Lacy still didn't show herself. Her mother told cops that while Lacy hadn't put her hands on her, she had made several death threats. >> Lacy, you're under arrest. Come out through the front door or force will be used against you. >> But hey, real talk, right? So, let's try to Hey, you can [music] look at the stuff and not look at me. So, look down. There you go. Okay. It's not rude. I won't be offended. [music] Let's try the soft touch of negotiation. So, we've given the hard, hey, you're under arrest. We've covered our legally. Let's give a little like, "Hey, Lacy, we're just trying to get your side of the story. Come out and talk to us." Like, we're just trying to make sure you're safe and your parents are safe. See if we can smoo her that way and try some other deescalation things. [music] Lacy, we just want to talk. >> Hear a calming voice. You >> have one of those. >> Come out. We just want to make sure everyone is safe. >> The cops continued trying to get her to surrender, but she ignored their commands. She eventually came to the door, but refused to step out. As a result, the cops had to try a different approach. >> Just Just slide the door open for me so I can hear you. >> We have a clear shot from [music] behind the bushes. So, if she steps out, we're going to just tase her. I think >> I think we What? >> You're going to get tased. >> My mom's going to still >> go, go, go, go. >> She's back in. >> No. No. Here. Just back off. She's back inside with the door closed. >> One. She's sitting hopefully not server's going to pass on. She starts reaching further. Send it out. So, let's try let's try to clear our way to the stairs. >> Just going to clear to the stairs. >> It might seem like a lot of force for [music] just one young woman, but they couldn't take any chances. You never know if someone's armed or what level they might sink to when they're threatened. While the cops distracted her downstairs, others made their way upstairs through the patio door. My mom and I are so >> I'm sorry. [screaming] >> Lacy, show your hands or you're going to get bit. >> Can you get on that side and just go straight on it? Lay down on the ground. >> Lay down on the ground. Lay down on the ground. There you go. Just stay right there. If you move, you're going to get bit. Wait, can I tell you what I did? >> Stand up first. >> Stand up. Let me stand up. >> On three. 1 2 3. >> The cop's plan worked. She was overwhelmed by force and she surrendered without a fight. She was then led out of the house so they could pat her down. But that didn't mean she was willing to cooperate. Tammy cuz you don't know what the rules. >> Yeah, that's right. Tammy, >> what's up? >> Don't want to dance real quick. >> Why? >> Don't do that. >> Why >> don't do that? >> Why? >> I got >> Why? Cuz I like your haircut. >> Put her in here. Shut up, fool. >> Come on. I'm sorry. I didn't hear you speak. >> Yeah, cuz you're a dumb little Okay. >> Okay, Daddy. >> Tell her what you're doing. Back to your hand. >> I'M SORRY. MY STEPDAD JUST TOLD ME TO ACT CUZ I'M NOT RUSHING. >> WHAT? >> LISTEN, you need to you need to comply or your shoulders are going to get hurt. Okay. Why? >> We don't want to hurt your shoulders. >> I don't like you. >> Okay. >> It was a challenge to search the woman or experiencing a mental episode. It was hard to tell. There was one thing that was clear. She thought the whole ordeal was an incredible joke. >> I don't like you. >> I think Austin said one. One of two. >> Hey guys. Guys. Guys. Got to keep better control of her than that. Cannot let her walk around like that. Okay. We're going to stay right here. Lacy. You're not going to move till we finish the service. >> Don't move. >> Yep. You dumb. >> Lacy, calm down. >> I hate you, bro. >> Lacy, keep your fre. >> Hey, Lacy. >> You don't know what a dumb It's being recorded. Okay, Lacy. >> You >> I don't like you. >> Tommy, you done? Hey, Tommy. >> Make sure you do this. >> Hurry. >> Gorilla glue. >> Okay. [laughter] Are we good? I think we're good. >> Okay, >> that's good. >> Tell me. Sorry. >> Let me put her Let me put her in the car. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> The cops eventually wrestled the woman into the back seat. They still had to switch her handcuffs up and she took every opportunity to make things as hard as she could. That being said, the cops stayed remarkably cool through the entire ordeal. >> [ __ ] Why are you so >> Come on. I see you. Keep her against the car. Lacy, we have we have to get you stuck. >> Okay. Okay. >> Lacy. >> Lacy. >> There we are. Okay. >> Okay. >> You just stand right there. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Thank you. >> Come on. >> Relax. I am relaxed. >> It was challenging, but after a bit of a struggle, the cops managed to secure her handcuffs and place her back in the cruiser. >> Well, let me in the car, >> dude. >> One step in. >> Let it go. Let it go. I will get in my yourself. You dumb >> rookie. >> One step in. >> Can't let him. They're just mad. >> They're just mad. Rogers. >> Stop. >> Sorry. >> Lacy was charged with violating a protective order, criminal damage to property, and resisting arrest. On the 20th of February 2024 in Florida, the cops got a call from a mother saying her daughter had stolen her phone from her and was using it to transfer cash to her bank account using Cash App. While on their way to the mother's residence, the cops spotted her on the roadside and decided to question her. >> Here out on the road. >> Oh, can you call her and tell her anything? >> They're going to figure everything out. >> She said she's hanging up the phone if I give her stuff. Boom. Give it up. I give it to that. >> Hey, >> what? >> Stay over here. >> No. >> Or you're going to go in cuffs. >> Why? >> Because we're investigating something right now. >> So, let's go to them then. >> Can we go there then? >> No, we're going to stay right here. >> Well, they're not here. That's is involving them. >> I have another person that's going over there. Step out of the road. >> Can you please car? >> She seemed desperate to get to her mother's house, which seems strange because when the cops picked her up, she was going in the opposite direction. The cops repeatedly told her to stay away from the road, but it seemed like she just couldn't listen. [groaning and screaming] >> Yeah. >> Are you crazy? Why? I don't have anything on me. Hey. Hey. >> Whoa. Why? Stop. >> Stop. Stop. Stop. >> Did you just Oh my god. Oh, can you please just go over? >> I just want to >> You will work with us. >> We will try. No, you're not working with us. >> Are we going there? >> Just get in the truck. >> Stop pushing me. So, are you rude? I'm trying yanking me back in. >> When a suspect's detained, it's the officer's responsibility to keep them safe. That being said, the last thing they were going to do was let her accidentally step out into traffic. With the woman secured in the squad car, it wasn't too long after that her mother arrived. >> So, what happened? >> She did yesterday she stole my phone. I didn't realize it till late in the afternoon and I she's done it before and she's cashed herself before. So then when I realized she took my phone, I was looking for her. Bring my phone home. don't take any money out of [music] my bank account. She took $200 out of my bank account. She lied to me. Said she didn't have my phone. So, I've been looking for her since yesterday. And now I pulled up here because [music] I know this homeless guy here. And sure enough, that car was over there and she was with the homeless people. And I said, Lauren, all I want is my phone. >> I said, all I want is my phone. Just give me my phone back. And I said, [music] "And another thing, you're going to jail for stealing my phone cuz she really needs a rehab. >> Can we tell the lawyer?" >> I said, "Is this mom? Mom, can you come here, please? Mom. Mom. Mom. >> Mom, please. Come here, please. No. Mom, YOU [screaming] shut the door." >> The mother told the officers that her daughter Lauren had a drug problem and asked the cops if they could put her in rehab. While it was up to a judge to decide that, they did put a note in their report. >> It's the money I'm not concerned about. She really needs help. >> Okay. >> Cuz she has a 5-year-old [music] daughter that I got to go to the school. And >> we can't provide her the help that you you think we can give her. [music] The only help that we can give her is >> is if she has a criminal, which she's obviously done something criminal now. So, if you want to prosecute on charges, >> I want to prosecute her. Then I want to go to court and I want to talk see the judge. All you got to do is look at her arms. >> So the dispatcher said something about someone being hit. >> Yeah, she hit me before. She want she didn't want to give me my phone and then she took my phone. She hit me in the she punched me in the back. >> In the back >> and I'm not going to even raise my hands and kick her cuz I know she will slaughter me. >> So do you uh do you want to provide a statement on what happened today? >> Mhm. >> Okay. The mother gave the cops a written statement and she was asked to show the cash app receipts as it was evidence that Lauren indeed attempted to send herself money. She was struggling to work the app, but thankfully her partner arrived and gave her a hand. >> I don't know why it's not letting me in. >> Just breathe. >> Everything is okay. >> Yeah, everything's fine. You don't have to cry. Okay. >> All you got to do is call the bank and tell them you got your phone back. Right. You retrieved your phone. >> All right. So I'm come very easy. >> Look, it's not >> I know cuz it's frozen, baby. The account right now is frozen. Okay, you have to call them up >> and I'm freezing. Yeah, the number. >> Call them up and you're freezing. >> She probably changed it. >> I don't know what she did. >> That's Chase. Talk to him. They already know what's going on. >> Talk to them. >> I just need your signature right here. >> Just sign it, babe. They always get that to them. >> On top of everything, the cops also found out that Lauren had thrown her mother's phone and damaged it. That being the case, they took photos of the phone as further evidence because she needs to know there's steal your mother's phone and it's cash app $200. But it's not even the money that I'm worried about. I want her to go for help. Like, she needs a rehab. And she tells me all the time, "I'm not ready yet. I'm not ready." You have a five-year-old daughter. Why aren't you ready? >> And then she'll tell you that I kidnapped her kid. Yeah, I did kidnap her kid when I first came to Florida because I wasn't leaving that kid home with her. >> She's not to be a mother. >> Oh, she she's out of control. She's not her right mind. I've I've had that kid. >> I've had that kid since my kid was one years old. The first year she was a great mom, a great mother, and then she started doing drugs and everything went downhill. >> So, he's going to he's going to take a couple pictures of you front and back, like I said. And then we're going to send you that link to your phone or your husband's phone, whichever one. >> I don't know if my phone is working. It's not working. I'll take care of that one. I'm just so upset because I had a cold. >> She's going to take a couple photos of you. Okay. >> As you might have gathered by now, drug addiction is no joke. It sounded like the mother had moved the family down to Florida trying to get a fresh start after having left New York. Sadly though, her daughter had fallen back into her habits. She told the officers that when Lauren gets high, she becomes increasingly violent. >> This is a domestic violence pamphlet right here. It also serves as a victim's rights brochure. Um, inside is your rights as a a victim of domestic violence. It goes over all the remedies and stuff like that, some avenues that you can take. On the back here is the sheriff's office phone number. LCSO, that's us. That's your case number. That's the date today. And that's the deputy, this deputy here, Deputy Shepard, that's that's going to be doing all the paperwork on it. Okay. >> All right. Well, um, she goes to jail, will they give you her court date? >> You can call into the the jail. She won't have one right away, for sure. >> Okay. >> So, give it a, you know, give it a day or two. You can call down to the jail and if not the jail, you can call the courthouse itself and ask to see if there's >> a bar. >> Yeah. 550 West Main Street. >> I know where it is. >> And the jail is 551. That's what Main Street. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Saying she could get bonded out. I don't think these homeless people could bond her out. >> Like I said, we're going to we'll send you that link here in a little bit so you can upload those photos. >> Her phone. Yes, sir. I can I can share the can. >> Correct. >> Correct. >> All right, guys. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Y'all have a better day. All right. >> Lauren was charged with resisting without violence, battery, theft, and criminal mischief less than $1,000. She was issued a $4,000 bond, which she later posted. She plead not guilty to all charges and while the battery charge was later dismissed, she was found guilty on the remaining charges. On the 4th of January 2025, the cops were dispatched to a residence after reports of a domestic dispute. The altercation broke out between a mother and father and their daughter who had recently moved onto their property. >> Are you Larry? >> I'm Larry. >> Hi, Larry. So, there's a young lady named Shelby that's doing bad things. Yeah. >> Has she uh >> she caused a biome? I had to I got her out of the hospital. She cut her hand window today. >> So, she needed an ambulance or anything? >> No, I took her there, but then she disrupted. They were about to call her several times. I had to calm her down at the hospital. >> At the hospital? >> Yeah. >> So, she's in the trailer right now. Shelby used to live she used to >> she used to live out at Southwind, right? >> Out at the the trailer court for Spike. Yep. Okay. >> The father, whose name was Larry, told the officer that his daughter Shelby had moved into the trailer on his property about 3 months ago. He said that ever since she'd come back, she'd become increasingly violent. >> We can ask her if she wants to go somewhere else. >> Calm her down. I used to be able to. >> Mhm. >> I don't know what to do. >> I mean, does she live in the trailer? Does she live in the house? >> She lives in the trailer. >> Well, you can lock her out of the house. Break her window. >> Well, that criminal damage then. I mean, >> well, she already did that. >> Yeah. Is that >> What is that? What >> are you wanting her to calm down? >> If you for a night, maybe she'll be better. >> That's not how it works. >> I know. >> Okay. >> Especially criminal damage. >> I've had a lot of things daughters to deal with. >> Okay. >> I don't know what to do. >> Yeah. >> I don't know what her mom wants me to do. I mean, I I pray all the time about it. I >> Since Shelby had been living there for more than 3 months, it was considered her permanent residence. Therefore, the officer couldn't trespass her or remove her from the residence without getting a court order. As the officer made his way toward the trailer to talk to her, she came bursting out. >> That dog, >> shut the up, dog. I'll kill you. >> Hi, Shelby. >> Hello. >> You seem to be very upset today. I heard you hurt your neck. >> Why are you so upset? >> Elvis, can you be quiet, please? >> Well, he's barking because of me. I'm making him bark probably. Well, >> could you please go apologize dog? >> Sure. Um, I'll apologize. >> Elvis. >> Elvis. >> Elvis, we're sorry, buddy. We're not trying to hurt you or anybody else. >> So, Shelby, you seem to be having getting upset today. What? >> Yes, I am. >> What can we do to get you to chill, you know, cuz that's your dad's kind of older and he's like, I don't know how to get her to calm down. The cop was doing his best to build rapport with her, but she seemed unstable, like she might have been under the influence. It was hard to predict what she might do next. >> Hey, Shelby, what if we go up towards the front? Maybe >> Yeah, if he can't see us, maybe he won't be up so upset about us. >> You need the ambulance to look at your hand. >> They've already been to the hospital. >> Right. You already got the hospital checked your hand out? >> Nope. >> Oh, do you want to go to the hospital and get your hand checked up? >> Nope. >> Nope. >> Not really. >> Nope. Not really. >> You sure could. I mean, but like I could. But yes, you might uh my fiance Tom Curtis. >> Yeah, I know Tom. Mhm. >> He's right in there. And um we're trying to like just get this road on the show >> to go. You want to go somewhere? >> I don't want to be living here in my parents. >> Yeah. Well, I mean, if you want to sit out here and >> be calm or what do you want to do? >> I want to be calm. I like I do this. I grow my own marijuana as well. >> Heck yeah. >> Got a green thumb. >> I do. >> He was doing an exceptional job keeping the woman calm. It wasn't his goal to arrest the woman as at that point there was no need to do so. All the cop wanted to do was deescalate things by offering solutions. >> All right. Well, what are we going to do? Can Can I give you a ride somewhere or do you want to stay here and just relax? I want to talk to my mom and my my mom my mom is like really >> she's just a Yeah, she's not feeling well >> and um >> I She's resting right now though. You don't want to wake her up. >> That's my time at >> I don't I I heard >> waking inside. >> All right. Can we can Can we Can I come in there then? >> Well, not if you're going to tear the house up. >> Are you not going to Are you going to be nice in the house and talk to Tom? Nice. >> Tom and I Yeah. Tom and I in the house. Yes. The the things about going in the house is >> okay cuz she said that she wants to calmly talk inside. >> It seems Shelby had been going through a rough patch with her fianceé Tom. Their fights had spilled over into the family home, prompting the parents to get involved. Next up, the cops followed Shelby inside so she could work things out with her parents. >> Hi, Puffers. Are we nice? Were we nice, Puffers? I remember this is your dog, right? Oh, I don't want to get your carpet dirty. >> You can just wipe your feet right here. >> I'll just kind of just stand back. >> Um, >> so we're talking >> she's being calm with us. She wants to help mom and be calm. She would like it if they could get their own place back out at Southwind, but I understand the landlord situation out there. It's hard to get power and water working. >> That's not feasible right now. Yeah, I understand that >> it's a future. You know, we're talking goals, which is a good thing. >> I've done everything to help her, but I can't. [music] I don't even think she knows what she's doing. >> Yeah. Kind of blacking out and getting very upset. >> I've told her that she can be under arrest for criminal damage to property. She can get in trouble and go to jail. She >> get that through her mind right now. She knew you get mad at me and you mad at the house and everything, you're going to do it. Call him right back here and I will press charges. >> While Larry was upset that she damaged his property, setting that aside, things were going pretty smooth. Shelby seemed calm and they were talking things through as a family with the officer standing in almost like a guidance counselor. But as calm as things were, it might have just been wishful thinking. >> I'm pressing charges. Do I then do I get to press charges for all the everything that you >> do I get to go back and charge? >> No, you don't. >> I don't care cuz I get that for you. >> All right, let's come on. >> He hasn't done anything to you. >> Why are you pressing charges on me right now? >> Yeah. >> I wouldn't do it. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Nope. Nope. We're not doing that now. YOU'RE GOING TO GET RESISTED. STOP. NO, NO. >> Be calm. >> Stop. >> No. No. >> Larry's batting it out. >> NO. >> YOU WOULD STOP IT. I'D STOP IT. YOU STOP IT. >> You calm way the hell down. I I'll try, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN NOW. >> You stop it. It's not right now. Okay. >> If you're calm with us, you'll get a notice to appear. >> Okay. If you fight with us, you'll go to jail. >> Yeah. There you go. You want to notice up here? You better calm the hell down. >> By that point, Shelby had pushed Larry past his breaking point, and he wanted to let his daughter know that he was done with her calling the shots on his [music] property. She was secured in handcuffs and escorted off the property. >> Come on. >> Walk, walk, walk. I need to take photos of the damage real quick. >> What's your name again? >> Declare. All right. You know, I want to know your first name. >> You don't need my own name. >> I do, too. >> You told me I don't need no. >> He just has a last name like Madonna. >> Yep. The one and only. >> Sit. Sit. >> Madonna. Like, >> sit in the car. There you go. >> Sit in the car. >> Know what I'm doing. >> Okay. Do it. >> Tell me. >> Don't. No. Hold on. We're going to hold on. >> Put your >> You love this, don't you? >> Put your Put your foot back. >> You love this, don't you? >> I don't. I hate this. Not >> Then why are you doing it? >> Because there's probable cause to arrest you for criminal damage. >> For what? >> For breaking windows. Get a search warrant right now. You want TO KNOW WHAT THAT in the You want to get a search warrant. >> Shelby was charged with criminal damage to property and resisting arrest. But if you thought she treated her parents horribly, just wait till you get a load of our next suspect. On the 29th of January 2024, the cops were dispatched to a residence after reportedly a man who was out on bond started harassing his mother and making threats. here still or no? >> Is he here still? >> He is downstairs. >> Okay. >> She's got some texts. >> So, he comes in, he's uh before I said, "I will not hesitate to call because he came home from work >> like this." >> Mhm. >> Then he said, "Haha, shut up. You ain't" And I said, "That's enough to call." And he said, "Oh, no." Wah. In the meantime, he's throwing things up the stairs at people. This is my bond order. In the past, people couldn't find it. I have it and court. It hasn't gone to trial yet. So, that should be legit. It says until further order of the court. And until further order of the court, we're familiar with this is not the correct one, but he does have one that says, "Is he drinking tonight?" I haven't seen it, but I could tell he's very drunk. >> Okay. >> On top of all that, she told the cops that her son, Michael, had threatened to cut her throat. She let the cops inside and then led them downstairs so they could confront her son. >> Hey, Michael. Hey, Michael. What's up, man? Want to sit up and talk to me for a second? >> Here. >> Hey, can you set for me? Talk for a second. drink now. >> What's up? Why don't I just just sit up talking to Bro? >> So, what's going on tonight, man? >> Come on. >> What's going on? You want me to just not take your side of the story and just take everything she said for it was worth or want to talk to me? >> Initially, the man didn't seem to want to talk to the cops, but he eventually came to his senses and responded to their questions. And let's just say that his version of events was completely different. >> Typical bonkers. >> Yeah. >> Did you make any threats to her today or anything like that? >> Threats to [music] her? >> Yeah. >> No. Zero threats. >> No. You text her anything that's harassment. Harassing to towards her? >> No. I told her she's a and ridiculous. Is that threat? >> That's harassment though. after being yelled at. >> Have you drank anything today? >> No. >> You haven't drank anything today alcohol-wise at all? >> Nope. >> No. Would you uh you wouldn't mind taking a breathalyzer test for us? >> It's a question. Yes or no? >> No, sir. >> No. Okay. The cops couldn't get straight answers from the man, so they kept pressing him for more information, but he was still being elusive. To get to the bottom of things, one of the cops went back upstairs to talk to his mother. >> You felt harassed as >> Yeah, it had been going on since he came home from work. So, by this time at 4:09, he gets off at 2:30. So, he's home by like 3:00. So, this has been going on for I'm putting it up with for an hour. By the time you said he also threatened you, he didn't say it directly to me. downstairs. He said, >> "Oh, yeah." >> No, for sure. >> He threatened you, correct? >> I mean, I heard him in the basement saying all kinds of things. >> Okay. >> He was just talking his ass away. >> He didn't say it directly to me. >> Okay. But >> I wouldn't be shaking if I wasn't afraid of him. >> And just just here's where you ain't shut up. >> It's sort of the whole harassment. >> He's on DV bond. He's out on bond. >> No. And on his bond, it's even states like for instance, he can't be drinking at all. >> The cops wanted to help the woman, but they couldn't force the man to take a breathalyzer test. And unless the mother had more evidence, they couldn't press charges against the man for harassment or breaking his bond. >> If he was going all day long, that's harassment. It says he cannot arrest you. >> Oh, he said you. That's nothing. >> Yeah. >> That goes on all the time. >> When was the last time he said >> tonight? >> Were you in front of them when he said that? >> I don't know who. >> Did any of you guys hear Michael talking to some actors? Say after you like that. >> I [music] missed I guess I heard something about I didn't know it was to me that I'm his mother. >> And you know for sure it was to her. >> Definitely. >> Definitely. >> Okay. And that's okay. Hey, >> the cop now had what he needed to place Michael under arrest. That being said, he went back down to the basement to break the news. Thankfully, Michael had enough sense to not resist or fight the inevitable. >> Here, sit up, Michael. Let's talk for a second. Can you get off the bed? >> Put your hands on your back. So part of your bill bond it says you cannot harass your mother at all >> saying saying for instance for example the words that would be considered harassment >> stuff before that >> but she's not on the hill bond of harassment towards you so is that really harassment I said a mean thing that's harassment one thing what if she says no and then I don't say it again how is that harassment I said one out of out of >> here. You want to >> right your shoes behind you right here. >> But she tells me to stop and then I stop. >> To remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. >> He quietly listened to the cops while they read him as Miranda writes. While he strongly disagreed that what he did amounted to harassment, the cops explained to the man that the bar was low due to his bond. >> Really? Saying one mean thing and then coming down here. >> Got that car. She didn't tell me to leave, >> dude. Dude, wait. Wait. Can we just >> There's no lock my >> Are these your keys? >> Yeah. Yeah. Wait. Keys. Phone. Keys. Wall phone. Please. >> All right. Let's go. >> Jacket. Maybe. >> Where's your jacket? >> Right there on the >> That one. The blue one here. >> Yeah. The blue. >> Coat, phone, wallet, keys. >> Blue or gray? >> The one with the fur on it, please. The the warm one. Yeah, that one. >> We'll grab it. All right. Michael, >> dude. Dude, this is something. >> The officers escorted Michael upstairs and out of the house. While he was pretty frustrated, he remained relatively calm and cooperative. The silver lining here was that by arresting the man, his mother might get some peace >> outside. Seriously, you got nothing better to do? I didn't say really. And and the smell of alcohol coming from your uh mouth probably doesn't help you either. >> Okay. Well, you know what? I >> remember the last car. >> Not overdoing it. Adam. >> The cops could smell alcohol on his breath, which was a direct violation of his bond. They searched the man again and placed him in the back of a squad car. >> What did I do? I was sitting downstairs. I said a mean thing and then I went downstairs. Let's go under my God. Jesus Christ. Like I said, you'll get a chance to use the phone. Here, put that back. I'm not >> use the phone. I don't remember phone numbers like that. I'm going to reach. >> It's on your cell phone, right? Use your cell phone. >> I don't know. You want me to do the DV? Hopefully, he'll think twice next time before threatening his mother in her own house. These abusive sons think that just because they're grown men, they could bully their own mothers. But sadly for these guys, these nononsense cops won't tolerate it. And they make sure to make it perfectly clear.
