He's running. >> Hey, stop right. I'm going to shoot you. >> Put your head on the head. Don't move. >> Why are we following girls around? >> I'm not following girls around. >> I'm watching you on camera. Do it. >> I'm not, sir. >> Okay. I'm I'm watching you on camera. Follow girls around and pull your stop. >> They said you peed on the floor. >> What's that? >> They said you peed on the floor and drank wine out of a bottle and are eating chicken and were doing all those things. Walmart sees its fair share of shoplifterss, but not every criminal who enters the store is just after merchandise. Some of these criminals bring far worse behavior to the aisles of Walmart. And when they top off regular shoplifting with something even more disturbing, the cops make Walmart arrest, you've got to see to believe. >> This is crazy, though. Just because she white and I'm black, I got to go to jail. >> I got to go to jail. This is exactly what it looks like. Like I She took my phone from me. >> On the 6th of July, 2023, the cops responded to a call from Walmart in Edmund, Oklahoma. In the parking lot of the store, there was an 83-year-old woman with a head wound. She'd been attacked and robbed reportedly by a store associate. When the officer arrived, he immediately spoke with security to get more details. >> She was searching. She said she was robbed. took her purse. Um, and she said that somebody stole her purse in the parking lot. They had a blue vest on and she didn't see who they was. So, they was brought in by a customer from here to the service desk and I went to the service desk to meet them. So, when I dialed back, she's going she walked up the the middle here. We here up the middle out to this back this car way out here. So, like we're on row uh eight, very top of row eight. And that's where she was last seen. And I'm dialing back now trying to see who this is with her because there is a blue vest with her, but I can see from a distance or a vest in general or somebody with >> Okay. And that's right outside these doors. >> Yeah, that's right. >> Can you tell what kind of car she was in? >> I can't right now, but what I'm going to do is I'm going to find out who was walking out there with her. Next, the cop headed to the parking lot to see the victim's truck. He spoke with the store managers who' identified the associate who had followed the elderly victim to her vehicle. >> Do you know who followed her out here? >> Uh, yeah. >> Who was her? >> Her name is >> Where's she at? >> She's on my She probably is. I saw her on grocery heading that way. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> She asked me to come. The lady asked me to come make sure her truck is locked because she has her purse. >> Littlea girls. >> The associate took. >> We just identified her. >> I think her name Johnson. >> Yeah, that's it. >> You have eyes on her in the store. Negative. We got to try to find her. >> I'm coming back in. >> Where did you think she was? >> The officer then went back to the store and found out the suspect might be in the break room in the southwest corner. After being guided by colleagues and Walmart staff, he finally located her. Hold on one sec. We're about to head out. Go. >> Are there back doors? >> Yes, sir. >> We need to talk to you. >> Yes, that's fine. >> We were out with her at the entrance. She came up to us. >> It was time for the officer to meet the victim. The elderly woman was at the service desk being cared for by officers and paramedics. She was visibly shaken by the attack and her appearance was very unsettling. >> I'm sorry. Can you tell me what your purse looked like? >> What color it was? >> It was a bag purse. >> Was it brown, black? Was it Michael's Kors or That's That's the only thing I know. Okay. All right. >> After confirming the person's description, the officer then went to loss prevention where the suspect, Latrea, was already being questioned. Latrea revealed she'd been facing serious financial difficulties. >> I sleep outside actually. >> I'm really homeless. [snorts] >> But I I got this job, you know. I'm trying to give me a place to sleep. >> How long you been How long you been working here? 11. >> She was only 21 years old, but she had already experienced how harsh life can be. But she did seem resourceful, perhaps a bit too much. Out of nowhere, she told the officer a version of the story in which she was the victim and accused this elderly woman of theft. >> I'm looking for my phone and then the Py goes off. It's in her purse or her wallet, but I don't talk anymore. So she like I looked at her I said well I think my first she like got cuss me out she got the steal going on and on. So instead of me you know making a scene or whatever I'm like you you already tried to come here and steal. You already done tried to come here and get whatever for free. Let me just let's just walk to your car but can I get my phone? We still walk to the to the to the car. We get to the car. She was giving me my she was trying to give me my phone, but I just snatched it out of her hand and she hit me with a purse and I grabbed the person grabbed my phone out of her hand and she fell me the most. >> Meanwhile, the cops are still looking for the victim's purse. They suspected Latraa had ditched it somewhere. One cop searched the restroom with no luck, but another soon found it. >> What is he? >> Oh, where was it? trash right now. >> What's missing out of it? Is I mean, is her money in there? >> Phone? >> I mean, unless she had >> she had cash. [music] >> The officer then reviewed the surveillance footage with a Walmart employee. The video showed no confrontation or shouting between them, which contradicted Latrea's claims. You can see right here, she doesn't have anything on her, right? >> Mhm. >> So, I'm going to dial it back and you'll see [music] her on this camera. >> She's claiming >> she's claiming that the lady stole [music] her cell phone in the bathroom and then she follows her out saying, "Ma'am, you have my cell phone." >> I figured not, but I I wasn't I wasn't privy to the video earlier, so I just wanted for my own sake. So you'll see here one more shot trying to get here All right. >> So, this is her empty-handed, nothing in her hand. >> She doubles back and looks back. >> So far, the footage didn't support Latrea's story. They then found the clip showing the very moment the suspect entered the store. That shot completely sealed her fate. >> That's her entering the store after the assault. Yeah, this is after the robbery. >> Okay. After the robbery, >> correct? >> Oh, here we go. This is beautiful back. I got to put in person [music] hand. See it? >> Yep. >> Person hand. dumpster. >> Yep. >> So then even up here, you'll see her cross. You'll see the silhouette of the strap [music] right there. >> Mhm. >> Boom. Let's go. >> Yeah. >> Nice. >> After seeing the footage, the cops went back to Latrea to do the only logical thing. However, she wasn't ready for the news and reacted emotionally. However, the woman's tears and pleas would not change the outcome. Don't >> stand up for me. arrest. >> I didn't rob nobody. >> Sir, can I call can I call my lawyer or somebody? >> When you get to jail, >> put your thumbs up. Like, this is crazy. This is my fault. Relax. Don't don't like me. Don't worry. Keep this mouth twist here. Relax. Relax. Twist. You twist too much. It's going to hurt. >> I swear to God. [music] Oh my god. Oh my god. Do you listen? Do you have anything illegal on you? Any kind of drugs? Any conband any weapons? Anything like that? >> Yes, I do. What do you have on you? >> Just marijuana. >> Just marijuana. Do you just not have a card for it? >> He said, "Who? I don't have it on me." But >> But you do have a card. Okay. Anything else? Like any kind of needles or >> meth? Anything like that? >> Where's Where's the marijuana? It just like >> I'm sorry. It's >> in my bag. Yeah. I'm sorry. Can I please call somebody? >> She tried to convince the officers of her innocence. She broke down and acted emotionally, but the cops weren't buying it. as it happened so often. She then played the race card, a move they'd already anticipated. >> This is crazy though. Just because she's white and I'm black, I got to go to jail. >> I got to go to jail. This exactly what it looks like. Like I She took my phone from me. She took my phone from me. She took my phone from me. She took my phone from me. This is crazy. Can I please come? >> She was escorted out and placed in the back of a squad car, but the ride to jail did nothing to calm her down. She kept talking non-stop, repeating her version of events over and over, desperately trying to convince the officer that she was innocent. >> I didn't even do nothing. I swear to God, she took my phone and everything from me. I got to go check cuz I'm black. Like, this is crazy. This is so crazy to me. I'm black. Like, this is how I really feel. Now I see how I really feel. The lady took my first and I got to go to jail cuz I got my back from her. This is crazy. This is crazy. offensive no more. Like, this is crazy. I'm really against the robbery. Robbery. >> At the station, things got more serious. She was taken to an interview room where a detective sat down with her to go over every detail. He patiently listened as she gave a long and overly detailed explanation, trying hard to sell a version of the story where she was the victim. >> So, me being me, I hug, well, we hugged and I grabbed her purse. I'm like, I just need my money. Can I get my money? She first she was going like she was willing to give it to me and then she just was like, "Give me my purse. I'm not giving you my money. I'm It's my money." She kept saying, "This my money. I'm not giving you a thing." And this this and I'm like, "Ma'am, this is I just I see my money in the back of your wallet right there. That's my money." It was like 60 something dollars. I'm like, "This is my money right here, ma'am. I'm homeless. I was trying to help you out. like, "Can I just get my money back?" She didn't want to give it back, so I took it back. And I had my phone already, you know, and it fell out. So, I'm like, "You Yeah, I It fell out and she fell." That's what happened. So, she fell out. It fell out. Everything fell out and it tuckling like kind of, you know, over the wallet. I mean, over the purse and she fell. And I helped her up. I'm like, "Ma'am, get up. Come on. Get up. I'm going to call the police on you." She like, "No, no, just give me my purse." It sounded like Latrea was oblivious to the fact that Walmart has security cameras everywhere, including in the parking lot. The woman's lies can't change what was clearly caught on video. When the officer confronted her about it, she started tweaking her story on the fly, rushing to make it corroborate with the evidence. >> Here's my issue. >> Yes, sir. >> When I see you walk back, >> I was running. >> And you have her purse. >> Yes, I did. Yes, I I know. I said that. I said I had a >> No, you didn't. I I just asked you if you just took your belongings. You took her purse. >> Well, well, I said in the middle of before you asked me, I said I took her purse and I took my Well, I took my belongings her purse everywhere. >> Okay. And where did you throw her purse at? >> I just threw it. I was mad. I honestly don't know. I was just throwing stuff. I was just throwing stuff. I don't know. >> So, I see you throw it into a trash can. >> Yes. I was so mad cuz I'm like I just know she going to try to say that I did something to her when and I was on the phone the whole time. >> With this story, Latrea was walking on very thin ice. In her first version, the main reason why she followed the victim out of the store was because the elderly woman had taken her phone. But soon the ice began to crack and her story started falling apart. Before we even before we even stepped out the bathroom, she gave me back my phone. >> She gave you your phone back when you came out. >> She gave me back my phone. She gave me back all that. And that's why I'm thinking >> when you when you walked out of the bathroom >> before we walked out the bathroom, she gave me my before we even stepped out the bathroom. We didn't even That's why I thought I'm thinking she in and out of it because it's nothing. >> So, hold on. Hold on. Time out. >> Yes, sir. >> So, you're saying that when you walk out of the bathroom? >> Before we walked out of the bathroom, we had a whole conversation. So you got your phone back. >> She was like, "Oh my." >> So you're hold on, Miss Johnson. So what you're telling me, and I just want to make sure I'm hearing this correctly, you're saying that when you went into the bathroom, she took your phone, but then she gave it back to you before you left the bathroom. >> Yes. >> Okay. So then you walked out. So then why did you walk out with her to her truck? >> Because she said she needed help. She wanted help out. >> So why did you So why did you grab her purse? >> Because she took my money and my stuff. Like my money. But you already have it. >> No, my phone. I don't have my phone. So, >> so literally 20 minutes ago, you said that you were getting you were getting your phone and your money back. Now you're saying that you're just getting your money back. >> I'm scared. I've never been in this type of situation. I'm just >> Now you're saying that you're just going to get her purse to get your money back. >> No. Yes. I was just Let me just regret cuz I'm swear to God. This [snorts] is not sounding right at all. And I'm sorry. After telling three different stories, the officer stopped believing anything she said. Latrea was charged with first-degree robbery and aggravated assault and battery. They also found nearly 23 g of marijuana on her, which led to a separate charge for possession of a controlled substance. On the 28th of February, 2025 in Oklahoma, the cops responded to a call from a local Walmart. Reportedly, a customer there was behaving inappropriately. Store security had seen him walking behind a woman, and he seemed to be unusually close. When the cops arrived, they immediately approached the man at this moment. Everything What's your name? >> Or me? >> What did I do? >> What did I do? >> There's allegations that you're exposing yourself. >> No. What? >> I hope the cameras don't lie. >> Do you have any merchandise on or anything? >> No, sir. >> Cop was absolutely right because the surveillance cameras didn't lie. The cops escorted the man to loss prevention, left him there, then reviewed the security footage with employees. >> Look over here first. This was this is [music] one of That's about three different female shots. But here's this right here. Watch this. She's right here on this one. He doesn't see right there. >> [snorts] >> The cameras captured the man stalking several women around the store while touching himself. He was also caught taking merchandise off the shelf. The officer asked the man about that as well. >> Rome, would do you have the Vaseline on you that you took off the shelf? Is it in this this pocket? >> I remember pick up picking up a Vaseline, but I don't. >> That's cool. >> It was unclear why the man had the Vaseline, but the video footage made one thing clear. He'd been following women throughout the store and soon enough the officers located the first victim. >> Hi. You're not in any trouble, but I was wondering if you noticed a man following you earlier. >> Yeah, I hear a lot. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> Did he say anything or >> No, he didn't. >> Okay. >> But thank you for asking. >> I'm 97. >> Um, we've been walking around following women and he's been himself. >> Oh, yeah. Okay. But you didn't you didn't see anything? >> Yeah. You just said, "How are you?" >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Until security caught it on camera. The aisles in the store gave the man cover to stalk the unsuspecting victims. The man even trailed one potential victim into the garden center. The cops eventually found her as well. >> Did you notice anybody following you? >> I felt like I was being fine. I did. >> Okay. Did Did you But did you notice anybody? >> I noticed a male. >> Okay. >> I didn't go for it, but I just kind of felt like somebody and I walked away and then I forgot somebody was there. I walked back and I did kind of pay attention more when I walked back. >> Okay. You saw him that time or? No, I didn't see him over there yet, but when I walked away, I kind of felt like he might be following me. >> And >> can you describe him at all? >> Just average person. >> Okay. >> But I don't know for sure cuz I didn't turn around, you know, stare at it feeling. >> Okay. Um Well, he So, we have a guy in custody up there. He's been following women around. >> Okay. >> Um and he's been himself behind your backs. >> Oh. >> Um the clearest shot on camera that we have. >> This guy had caused quite a disturbance at Walmart. He was acting like a creep and alarming multiple shoppers. It was time for the man to explain himself if such shocking and inappropriate behavior can be explained at all. >> Okay. Yeah. So, Rome, just be honest with me. What What are we doing? I just to be honest, sir, I came in here to buy some food. >> Yeah. >> And I did pick that Vaseline up. >> Okay. But why? >> Why are we following girls around? >> I'm not [music] following girls around. >> I'm watching you on camera. Do it. >> I'm not, sir. >> Okay. I'm I'm watching you on camera. Follow girls around and pull your Stop. So, what is that about? >> I did. >> I I'm I see you doing it on camera. You can't tell me you didn't. I see it. >> Can I see it? >> No, but I'm watching it. I'm just watching you pull your out while you're following girls around. >> I I'm not. >> Can I see? >> I I don't know what to tell you when it's on camera. >> Can I see it? >> No, you can't see. Why? Why do you need to see it? It's you. You're the one who did. >> You saying that I pull my on camera? >> Yes. >> Can I see it? >> No. You You were doing it in person. You probably saw it yourself. Why do you need to sit on him? >> Because what she looks like. >> The cop continued questioning the man. And while he didn't admit to stalking, he did admit to drinking a little wine earlier. After that, the man explained why he'd taken the Vaseline. >> Why'd you take the Vaseline? >> Uh, it was from my >> You just didn't want to pay for it. >> I didn't know. Okay. Well, see, so now we're getting around. So, if you didn't have money to pay for the Vaseline, you told me you came here to buy groceries. >> Yes, sir. >> So, how are you going to pay for the groceries? >> Okay. >> He claimed he didn't recall exposing himself, though. It happened just minutes earlier. And his behavior wasn't limited to the store aisles. The cameras also caught the man entering the women's bathroom. >> Rome, why'd you why'd you go in the women's bathroom? That was an accidental. She She had came in and told me that I was in the woman's restroom and I had walked out and uh she didn't say uh nothing further. So >> Okay. She just mistakenly went in the girl's bathroom. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And she had walked in. She was like, "Uh, this is the female's restroom." And I was just like, "Oh." and I walk out and uh she didn't she didn't say nothing after that but uh the people that that that she was with >> was uh following me around where I was walking at and then uh that's when I had seen >> ultimately they trespassed the man from Walmart's [music] nationwide. As things turned out, he already had a criminal record, and the officer informed the man that he had an active warrant. To no one's surprise, he acted confused about that as well. >> What's my charges? >> Well, one, the the warrant that you have from county is for lararseny. >> Lararseny? >> Yes. It's a past charge. It's a warrant. And then two, for what I told you about, you're exposing yourself [clears throat] to Walmart. That's obviously not allowed. >> So now you're never allowed to come back to Walmarts ever again. They sentenced the man to 3 years in prison for indecent exposure. Over the past 5 years, he'd already been arrested on similar charges, but every time got a deferred sentence. Back in 2018, he was even charged for assaulting and groping a woman outside a local library. On September 27th, 2024, the cops responded to a local Walmart about a woman causing a disturbance in the store. Management wanted her trespass. And when the officers arrived, they were greeted by an employee. >> They said grocery doors. Those grocery 6t tall. Hey, how you doing? are probably near electronics. >> Electronics. Okay. Is she black or white? >> She's >> After a brief search, the cops spotted the female suspect wandering through the store. Clearly, it wasn't the woman's first time causing a public disturbance because one of the cops recognized her and even knew the woman's name. >> Oh, it's Campbell. It's Campbell. >> Uh, what's Campbell's first name? She might have a 99 >> on 20th. I know she lives on 20th. Or is it 19? >> I know it's Camp. The suspect, Julie Campbell, seemed to notice the officers following her, so she picked her pace up and made the cops chase her for a bit as they tried to close the gap. When they finally called up to Julia, one of the cops called out to her. >> Miss Campbell, can we talk to you? >> Why won't you talk to us? >> Is it Aubrey? Miss Campbell, >> excuse us. The cops stayed patient and respectful, giving Julia a chance to cooperate on her own, but she ignored them completely until they informed the woman she'd been trespassed. She was visibly on edge, but she continued acting like she couldn't see the cops or hear them. >> Miss Campbell, you're trespassed from the store, so you got to leave. [laughter] >> Are you going to check out? >> [snorts] >> camera. Can we see your ID? see if we can get her on. >> Julia got ready to check out at the register. [music] The cops got word the store didn't want her to do it and that she had to return all the merchandise. When the cops intervened, the woman's rage boiled over. >> Hey, you can't buy anything. >> You can't do this. Ow. >> Yes, I can. >> No. >> Yes, I can. >> I have money. While she didn't fight physically, she still refused to comply. She stayed silent at first, but as soon as the cops stood her up to take her out, she started shouting nonsense. It was clear at that moment that she wasn't mentally stable. >> So Jesus, let go. >> Let five people go. [screaming] I am the Lord. Stop. >> Okay. >> No. >> Stop it right now, officer. Stop. I need my cigarettes. Cannot take my help. >> Yes, man. We can >> No, I'm taking your bed. >> Go. I go. >> Just shield me. >> I grab my weapon again. >> Let's go. I didn't. Dude, >> you cannot arrest me, dude. >> Okay, dude. Please don't kick. >> Please don't kick. You did it. >> Please. I'm good. >> So hot. >> Hot, dude. >> Stop kicking. >> Let go of me. >> Stop kicking. >> Julia, >> take the cop off right now. >> Calm down. This isn't you. You don't act like this. >> I'm very high sergeant. >> The cops managed to calm her down enough to get her in the squad car. Later on, they decided to transfer the woman to another transport vehicle. And as soon as they opened the car door, she continued with her bizarre commentary. >> You know Elon Musk is >> we're going to get this. >> If you don't know who Elon Musk is going to get in this car, >> don't touch me again. Back off. >> My wallet, dude. >> I'm I'm going to ask you one more time to step in this car and then I'm going to put you in the car. Will you please get in the car? >> Julie, come on. >> No. >> Okay, >> Julie, don't act like that. Come on. We've got a good report. All right. Don't make it any worse. >> I'm going to the gas station. Buy a pack of cereal. >> Okay. Come on, Julie. >> No. [screaming] >> Don't touch me again. >> Stop touching me. Stop it. Ow. My lava god. Just wake the up. >> Julia, >> no. >> Cut off my leg again. Jaw. Cut off. No, >> we're going to comply save you in a second. Don't confess. >> We're going to drive you in a second, but you couldn't >> take me to the gas station. >> One of the cops stayed behind at the store to sort out the mess she'd made while the others took her to jail. When they arrived, she was in high spirits, still shouting and acting out. Don't you >> I hate these nurses. >> They charged Julia with resisting with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. They sentenced the woman to 3 years probation and was ordered to pay fines. On July 29th, 2024 in Albuquerque, the cops were dispatched to a local Walmart in reference to a dangerous shoplifter. The suspect was armed and concealed unpaid items in his pockets. When the officers entered the store, they quickly located the man and approached him. >> You see red sweater and what? >> He's right there. Right there. [music] Right there. You went somewhere this way. >> The suspect, 27-year-old J Lewis, figured out the cops were there, so he tried to evade them, ducking between shelves and changing directions. After Jamil took off, the cops chased him on foot. And it didn't take too long till one of the cops drew his gun. Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. >> Hey, police department. Let me see your hands. Don't move. Police department. Don't Don't move. >> He's running. >> Hey, stop. I'm going to shoot you. Put your hands on your head. Don't [ __ ] move. >> You move. You're going to get shot. >> You're being detained. You're not free to leave. >> Put your hands on your back now. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Do it now. >> Hey, where the you up, dude? >> I do. >> You're being detained. You're not free to leave. >> Stop. >> Stop moving. A please [screaming] get on your back. [screaming] >> Despite the man's resistance, the cops managed to get him handcuffed. And while J was crying, the cops didn't let it distract them. Their job wasn't done yet because the cops had information that J had a gun on him and they definitely had to find it. Roll over. Quit reaching. >> No. >> Quit reaching up. >> My arm. >> No. >> Stop. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. >> Stop resisting. Hey, do you do you have a gun on you? >> Tell me the truth right now. >> Tell me the truth. >> Flip him over. >> This is his right side. >> This is his right side. >> Why? Cuz I was getting a whole stick question. >> It dropped when I was running. >> Where'd it drop? >> I don't know. Where? >> Quit moving so I can make sure it's not on you. >> You guys got him. I'm going to look to that. >> Why am I being detained? >> Okay. >> Why am I being detained? >> You have the gun. The cops found the man's firearm placed in a presumably stolen holster. He had dropped the firearm just before they captured him. During a search of his person, the cops found some more shady items. >> This is your fault, dude. >> Getting [ __ ] for school. >> You're getting gun cleaner for a school? >> No, I got gun cleaner. I got letters in that black bag. >> So, you're not getting stuff for a school then? >> There's letters like letters like iron letter. >> Shut up. I'll give you guys hell. You guys are doing this in inside. You can't even do this outside. >> So you can run. I'm >> not going to run. You got me handcuff anyway. Get you guys out. I know that I >> stop. >> Stop moving your leg. >> Why are you guys doing that? You guys are putting your knee in my leg. >> Well, you keep kicking me, dude. >> I have injury in that leg. >> Quick kick clicking me. Oh, how would you like it if someone put their knee in your leg? >> How do you like if someone kicks you? >> Huh? >> Just stop. >> Cuz it hurts. >> Well, it hurts me too. >> Got shot in that leg. >> Stop in my chest and my >> Hey, everything that's happened to you is your fault, dude. >> I don't. >> So, be I'm sure. >> I'm sure you don't. >> I don't. You guys are [ __ ] piece of >> All cops. Hate cops. You guys go down. >> Everything that's happened to you is your fault. So, just be quiet. >> The cops continued their search while J kept on whining. A little later, they pulled even more stolen merchandise from within the man's clothes. >> What? Dude, >> you got it. >> What? Where is he? >> Where is he? If he's here. >> My wrist. >> The employees picked up items that Jamea dropped on the floor. The cops were ready to get him out of the store, but when they tried to lift him off the ground, he started fiercely resisting. >> I got him. I got him. >> Don't kick me, bro. I told you I got shot of a leg. >> You're the one, dude. >> This is what you get for kicking. >> My knee. All right. All right. >> Are you going to stop kicking? >> Yes. Leg. >> Lay your legs flat. I'm going to do it again. >> You understand me? >> I was just kidding. Good thing I forgot his gun is all in a room. >> In a lastditch effort to save face, J was trying to spin a Saab story. He said he was just shoplifting for his son, apparently risking a felony arrest for some art supplies for his kid. The cops here weren't buying it for one second. >> Is your son actually here or are you being bsing us? >> I'm not. >> So, where is he? >> What car are you in? >> [laughter] >> He's not by himself, but he's my home bro. >> Well, what car is it? >> You want us to check on your son or not? >> Yes, but I want to see him like I want him to see me like >> Well, maybe we can make that happen if you're relaxed. But what car is he in >> like this though? >> Well, you're not getting out of those handcuffs. I'm telling you right now. >> I know that, dude. >> In total, it all added up to $128. Jamil was taken to jail and charged with felony possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, unlawfully carrying a firearm, and shoplifting under $250. As things turned out, he already had active warrants out for first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting from a vehicle, tampering with evidence, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. On the 1st of August 2025, the cops got a call from Walmart about an altercation in the parking lot. Reportedly, a woman had assaulted a teenager. When the cops arrived, they spoke to the injured boy who explained what had happened. >> All right. So, what's going on today? >> So, I gone to Walmart and I came out and I was just about to back up and I looked over and there's a cart sitting right next to my door now. So, I can't back up. I turn around and I look around and her she's parked right next to me. her car door is closing at that time. So I assume that she left her cart there. So I rolled my window down. I go, "Did you just leave your cart like right next to my car?" So I came back out and she go, "Yeah." And I was like, "What the is wrong with you?" And I started, you know, I called her broke. I was like, "Move your cart. You're broke as hell. Like what what are you doing?" And she's like, "No, I'm not going to move my car." She started backing up. So I backed up as well cuz I I'm going to go, you know, like >> So you guys are like next to each other like this? >> We're literally right next to each other. So she starts backing up. I back up too cuz I'm going go get out of here. Well, at this point, that's when the video starts. She backs up. I back up in front of her, and then she gets out of her car, comes to my driver's side. I think I'm going to roll my window down and like yell at her like, "Hey, move your in my way." You know what I'm saying? Well, she grabs me. She starts throwing her finger in my face, is pointing me is actually touching my nose. So, I knew she was about to get hands. She grabbed me by the hair after that and started punching me. And it's on video. >> Just [laughter] while you're in the car? >> While I'm in the car. So, I try to drive forward a little bit, but actually I can't see cuz she's grabbing my hair and punching me. [music] You know, she's hanging on my car, hanging on me while I'm trying to drive forward cuz we were right there. You know, I was just in the parking spot right here and I drove forward to here. You know, >> sometimes things escalate quickly from a golf cart left in the wrong spot to a full-on physical confrontation. And unfortunately, sometimes aggression just breeds more aggression. The boy admitted he found a way to get back at the woman for punching him. >> I grabbed her. She had a name tag on. So, I reached out and I grabbed her name tag off of her cuz I wanted her name. You know, I seen her name tag on her and then uh I got out and I punched her window, which wasn't very smart of me to do. You know what I'm saying? But that was after I got hit in the face [laughter] multiple occasions. >> The fight between the boy and the suspect didn't go unnoticed. It was captured on video by a bystander who sent it to the boy later. The boy showed the officer the video to give him a better view of what happened. This is just from a bystander. >> Yep. This was There was a Mexican lady and there she pulled out. I backed up too. I'm pulling at her to move the car. She starts yelling at me. She grabs me and starts. >> I start trying to drive the legs out the way. >> She comes back and >> So, is this the cart you guys are talking about? >> Yes. sitting right next to me. [laughter] >> Okay. >> If I would have backed out, it would have hit my car. >> You know, if I would have like turned and backed out instead of just backing out straight. >> So, after she's hitting you, you try to drive off, you stop, but then is that when you get out and punch her window? >> Yes, sir. Yeah. >> What What window did you punch? >> It's right there. It's broken. >> Okay. >> And then she actually ran up on me again and was hitting me again and I pushed her off of me and I, you know, that's when more people came out here and we split up. The boy had visible injuries on his face and ear. However, when they asked him about it, he refused any medical attention, saying he wasn't injured, just shaken. The officer then asked the boy if he wanted to press charges. >> You want to press charges or what? Cuz I'm going to be completely honest with you. It's up to you. >> But since there's damage on her window, so she's probably going to press charges on you, too, for her window. >> Some bro, I'm on court supervision right now cuz I just got into a motorcycle accident court supervision for it. I literally just got put on that. Like I haven't been in no trouble the rest of my life. It's just funny. It's so >> bad bad circumstance, you know. But I, you know, I would I would pay to press charges or whatever [music] cuz that's the only reason, you know, I got punched in my face multiple multiple times. >> I mean, that that's up to you. What do you want to do? >> What can I do? Can I press charges on it, but I know I did damage her vehicle, you know? >> Yeah. >> Out of rage. I was mad as hell. >> I mean, it's on video. I mean, you got injuries and it's on video. Just punching blood pouring out of my ear. >> So, How does all of that work? >> What do you mean >> pressing charges? >> So, I mean, if you want to press charges, then she'd [music] be arrested. >> And then obviously, I'd have to read her right. I haven't talked to her at all. I don't know what her story is. >> So, I'd have to read her right, see if she's want to talk, tell me what she's got to say. >> No, for sure. Yeah. I mean, I would like to press char. She grabbed me by my hair and started punching me multiple times, you know, like. >> So, do you want to press charges >> over a cart? Yeah. If I Yeah. if I can. >> After hearing the entire story, the cops then tried to find out just what kind of woman would lash out at a teenage boy in broad daylight. So soon enough, the suspect got a chance to tell her side of the story. >> So I have a four-year-old in the car. You don't keep blocking nobody in. So I get out my car and I go to yell him. He laughing, doing all this. So I'm doing all this. So then he he doing too much. So yes, I did get to hitting him cuz you doing too much. So then after that, I need to walk back to my car. Keep following me to my car. He punch in the window. You too close to my son. My son in his car. So yes, I did get to hit him cuz you don't come to nobody car. >> Suspect's explanation was emotional and a bit chaotic, but she did admit to striking the teen, which is all the officer had to hear. And soon enough, one of the cops stopped her midstory. >> Hey, I'm going to stop. Can you hand the kid off to Is she with you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, right now, you're going to be placed under arrest for aggravated battery. Here, we'll get it. Go get it. >> Yeah. >> And then you [music] going to press charges on >> cuz it's [ __ ] lost the cameras and all that. He kept blocking me in. You not blocking nobody in. >> Well, everything's on video. >> I should have Why is he blocking me in like >> doesn't matter. You know he white. You know they going >> uh let me double check. >> Let me double check with them. >> No, I don't think so. I don't want to try and jump on it. Hold on. >> You have anything in your pocket somewhere? >> Yes, I do. >> What do you have? >> I got scissors over here and I don't know what I got over here. >> Grab it. Grab it. Yeah. >> Well, is this like your ID or something? >> I don't Yeah, I'm for work. >> Okay. >> You work at >> this is so child. It's all cuz he blocking me in. Forget this is too much. My whole birthday is so good. >> To get a little more clarity, the cops wanted to check out Walmart's security footage, even though the bystander footage was already pretty clear. The officer took the woman's information and then read her her rights. Do you understand each of these rights I have explained to you? >> Do you understand your rights? >> This [ __ ] is so >> I'm going to ask you one more time. >> Yes. Yes. I hear you. I hear you. >> Okay. Well, I need you to answer me. This is >> Okay. Having your rights in mind. Do you wish to talk to us? >> Have any rights in mind? Do you wish to talk to me? talk about. I I tried to echo. I tried. >> I need a yes or no. Do you want to talk? >> I don't care. I don't care. It don't matter. >> That That doesn't answer my question. >> It doesn't matter. I don't I don't care. >> Okay. So, you don't want to talk. >> She was taken to jail and later charged with aggravated assault. On November 22nd, 2024 in Oklahoma, the cops got a call from Walmart about a shoplifting in progress. The suspect was switching barcodes on Lego sets and it fled on foot. But the cops caught up with the man in the parking lot and the chase was on. >> Stop. All right, man. You're going to take the ride. Stop right now. >> Don't look around. Stop running. Spread your feet out. Spread your legs out. Why you running? Yeah, we got one detained. Why you running, dude? >> Huh? >> Loosen up. >> You have anything on you? >> No. >> Where'd you put the Lego kit? >> I don't have them. >> What? You walked out with them, dude. >> I don't have them. >> Step over this way. >> Bring your knees to your chest. Put your knees to your chest. >> I don't have anything. >> Bring your knees to your chest. No. Sit down. You're stuck. Sit up. >> All right. Ready? 1 2 3. Stand up. >> So, why are you running if you didn't do anything wrong? >> He was trying to stop me. Okay. >> You walked out with the merchandise. So, where'd you put it? >> I didn't walk out with anything. >> Yeah, you did. >> The officer warned the man, Steven, that by not cooperating, he was only making things worse. That's when he changed his story up and admitted that he'd stolen some items, even telling the cops what he did with them. >> I left it there at Walmart. >> Why you running? >> Cuz he told me that I was in trouble. You got here for me. >> Anything in your pocket is going to poke stick me? >> Phone. >> Huh? >> Just my phone. >> Nothing in here going to poke stick me or anything? >> No. >> You got an ID on you >> or a wallet? >> Yeah. >> I didn't take any of the merchandise. >> The cops searched the area for the merchandise he ditched. They followed the man's escape route and even checked out the trash cans. And when nothing turned up, they decided to ask the man again. >> So, you're saying the merchandise? >> But you you bypassed all points of sale with the merch. Why would they tell us that you still have the merchandise with you? >> Well, you're still going to jail. It's only going to make it harder for you if you don't tell us where the merchandise is. >> There's not anymore. >> Okay. Well, we'll figure it out. The cops decided to take him back to Walmart to go on with the interrogation. As they transported the man, one of the cops tried to get more info, but he was a tough nut to crack. >> Did you get here in the vehicle or did you walk? Huh? Do what? Where do you live around here? Huh? Where do you live? Huh? Where do you live? Are you just not answering me now? Are you just going to continue to make this difficult? Stephen, you're like what? 34, 35, stealing Legos and now you're just I want to be honest. >> In handcuffs, they escorted the man straight into loss prevention. And the cops once again tried to get him to talk and reveal what he'd done with the stolen merchandise. >> Where is it? What? Will you just be honest about that? >> I dropped it somewhere. >> Where? >> I don't know. I dropped it. >> So, you're just going to continue making this difficult? >> I'm making it difficult. I dropped it. Know where I >> Where in the parking lot? >> I have no idea. I just dropped it. I'm not paying attention to where I dropped something. You >> in the Walmart parking lot? Where were you? By Jack in the Box. >> Over by Jack in the Box. >> Towards those businesses or in the Jack in the Box. >> Somewhere to where those businesses >> in the street in the parking lot. Put it behind some bushes. >> Listen, you're making this really hard on yourself. This can go from you going to the Edmond City jail and getting to bond down in a few hours or I'm going to go through the process of just doing a state charge and taking you down to Oklahoma County. So, the more that you want to cooperate, the easier it's going to be for you. >> I just said I dropped it in the parking lot and I don't know where I dropped it. >> Stupid. This is >> funny. >> You're old enough. It's like, >> why are you doing this? >> As far as these missing items went, the man was keeping things a mystery and the surveillance cameras didn't show anything at all. However, when the cops and security went out to look for them, the mystery was finally solved. Go ahead. >> Here it is. >> Oh, nice. >> Got flagged down by bank said there was possib unknown vehicle description of the bad people. Just not say it out loud at this one. >> Do what? >> Just not say it out loud. I miss my >> Oh, no. You do. >> What are the chances there? >> No, right. >> They returned the stolen items to the store. As things turned out, he switched the barcode so he could buy them at a lower price. But at this point, not only did he lose his Lego sets that he planned to play with at home, but he was also permanently trespassed from every Walmart in the country. >> You're trespassing Walmart. That's all Walmarts nationwide. You go back in there, you be arrested for trespassing charged. >> How about we're going to go to the gym. >> What the red one? How's that? >> Better. >> It turned out to be a terrible day for Steven. First off, his Lego heist was completely [music] ruined. And second, he got escorted in handcuffs back to the Walmart parking lot in front of a massive group of people. >> You have anything illegal on you need to know about? Hello. >> Right here, it's a felony. If you're bringing us out of the jail, >> give you a chance to declare it. >> Anything? >> No. >> Steven was taken to jail and charged with resisting an officer and theft. He was ordered by the court to pay almost $1,200 in court costs. As things turn out, Legos can cost you dearly, especially if you don't pay for them. On the 20th of February, 2025 in Florida, the cops responded to a call about a very unusual kind of shoplifting. A woman at Walmart was not only opening packages and stealing from them, but was also urinating between the aisles. When the cops entered the store, they immediately stopped the suspect, Ashley Thomas. >> Hello. Hello. >> Hello. >> Don't put your hands on me. >> I'm just trying to say hi to you. You weren't listening. What's going on? >> Nothing. >> Okay. I don't see in Walmart with a caller. >> What's like what's happening today? They said you peed on the floor. >> What's that? >> They said you peed on the floor and drank wine out of a bottle and are eating chicken and we're doing all those things. >> Don't walk away from me. >> I'm I'm saying like shopping. >> Okay. Why are we going to talk about that? >> What we going to talk about? >> Where? Just the front of the store. >> Can I take my all this? >> Like have you purchased any of it yet? We can go to the cart. >> Have I purchased any of it yet? >> Yeah. Well, you're eating it, so I asked. Did you get the wine bottle drinking it? So I asked, right? Does that not make sense to you? >> Before getting to the register, she'd already consumed some of the items. So even if she planned to pay later, it still counted as theft. She had no real defense. So she tried to just walk past the officer, but she didn't get too far. handcuffs, I guess. >> Guys, >> is anyone here for help? >> Uh, is anyone here to help you right now? >> No. >> Can the office open or no? >> I can't open the office yet. >> They're calling threeon one. You This way. Oh, this way. That's way. >> Huh? >> She's going to move. Come on. >> You want me to close your pants or something? Why don't you move now? >> I want you. >> I don't want you to What? >> What could I do? >> Stop. thought I said you eat on the park. You drank water. You ate chicken. This way to the right. >> Ashley was taken to loss prevention to be searched, but she refused to cooperate, denied any wrongdoing, and was extremely argumentative. >> Stop moving. Stop. >> Oh, I was moving. >> I was just so You can check my pockets. >> Yeah, so she can check your pockets. >> I got tickets. >> You sure? >> No. Was it good? [snorts] >> You did nothing. No, you should know. You should have started that from from the beginning. >> Starting out. >> Okay. Well, whatever. What did I do? What did I do? I didn't walk out the store. You You approached me in the store while I was still trying to shop. >> Does that include pissing on the floor? >> Well, charge me with that. Whatever you want. >> You good. >> You want to check my bag? >> You want to Hey, can you can you can you put it in my can my bag right there? >> We'll we'll take a look through your bag here in a little bit. >> I don't trust that. >> Nah, man. Trust that. >> Um, you can show one thing. >> The cops tried to explain to Ashley that her detention was lawful. They reminded the woman that she'd eaten food from the store without paying for it, and she tried to justify what she did with a ridiculous excuse. >> So, apparently, you're eating eating real chicken. >> Yeah, but I hadn't even made it to the cash register yet. You >> still can't be eating food in the [music] store. Still considered retail theft. >> Whatever. >> You got anything in your bag you shouldn't have? >> No. Check it. Everything I was trying to pay for was was in in that >> I own that. >> What's that for? >> Because you can't do the I ain't did nothing wrong. I didn't even walk out the store and the cameras gonna see that. >> They got cameras everywhere. >> Yeah, I know. And I still got money on my card to pay for what I was eating. >> All right. So, well, book me. I'm good. >> Well, we'll discuss it here in a little bit. The officer you were talking to, she's going to ask you some questions. >> Man, I ain't worried about that. I don't care nothing about that. >> Ashley pretended not to care, but she was clearly nervous. One of the cops asked Ashley to face away from him. In response, she acted belligerent and was extremely hostile. Don't put your mother feet on me. >> I will if you don't listen to me. >> You cracker. Don't put your feet on me. >> I've asked you a couple times. I don't >> give a about that. >> Keep turning closer. >> Don't put your mother feet on me. >> I'll do whatever I need to do to get you to comply. >> Cracker. >> This kind of attitude is going to help. >> I don't give a about that. I ain't did nothing. >> Okay, >> I know the law, man. Do what you want to do. Put like I said, don't put your feet on me. >> I won't as long as you listen to what I tell you. >> Crier. Now what? >> We got to wait. >> No. No. >> Enjoy each other's company. >> Yeah. Well, it won't be that. And I promise you. >> Okay. You from the area, >> man? Don't matter. >> No. >> Don't matter. >> Natural Fidian. >> Don't matter. >> Move down here. >> Don't matter. >> Are you homeless or do you have a >> Don't matter. >> Have a place of res. >> Don't matter. >> Don't matter. >> We're going to be [music] sitting here. >> I'm just trying to have conversation. >> Don't matter. Don't matter. I'm good. I did. >> I just don't see the I ain't walk out the store. >> Ashley kept repeating the same worn out excuse. She said she hadn't left the store, but the cops weren't buying it, which only frustrated her more. And before too long, she really began acting disgusting. >> Whatever. >> Well, luckily [screaming and groaning] >> [screaming] >> Man, don't touch me. >> My feet is facing forward. My feet is facing forward. Don't touch me. My feet. Look at my feet. >> Spitting like that. You're going to have a spit. >> Look at my feet though. This cracker told me to face my my feet is forward. You cracker. >> Nah. >> Just like you. You said face my feet forward. My feet is forward. Crier. Now what you going to do in my face? I don't know if you >> I don't give a what you talking about. >> Man, you cracker. >> I'll be screaming in my face. >> Man, you ain't did nothing forward. >> I ain't did nothing. My feet is for you. Can't tell me where to put my head at. >> When you're yelling in my face, >> man. You cracker. You [ __ ] you, Ker. With that kind of behavior, the woman's ordeal at Walmart had precious little chance of a good outcome. The cops stayed cool and ignored the woman's insults. After reading her Miranda rightites, they patted Ashley down. >> Hey, Ashley. >> Ashley, I'm going to pull your out of here. >> Okay, >> get the out of here. >> Go jump back in your mama. Go jump back in your grow a little. [laughter] Hold on. Let me pull your pants off. >> I didn't even walk out the store. Y'all didn't even let me. If you go in my pocket and looking at wallet, you just [music] took out my pocket. >> I got your wallet. >> Yeah. >> What's up? >> I could have paid for everything that I had. Everything that I had. What you got? What's going on though? Like why why am I being arrested though? Like I I didn't even I didn't even I if you look at my cash app card, I got money on my card to pay for everything. Even if she did really have money for what she'd been eating and drinking, it was far too late. They took Ashley out of the store in handcuffs. Yet, she still managed to keep her arrogant and privileged attitude. >> Yeah. And squeeze that there first. out of here. >> On the way to the jail house, she kept arguing, denying she'd stolen anything. The officer had to remind her one more time about the mess she'd made at Walmart. >> I was stealing like, "What's going on?" >> Well, I think it's more than one thing. It's the the peeing and then also uh opening the stuff in the aisles. But >> Okay. But I ain't walk out the store though. >> Yeah, I know. Um, even even if you even if you're opening the stuff in the aisles and you're consuming it, it's still considered theft. >> Yeah. Whatever. >> I'm just telling you. You ask me. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> That's Walmart. Uh, >> if somebody Nobody never came up to me and I snatched away or or I was violent with them and took the item out their hand. >> Well, that would be >> burglaries. >> No, that would be robbery. Ashley was booked into jail, charged with disorderly conduct, and was trespassed from Walmart. With thousands of people going in and out of Walmart, there are always the occasional weirdos and troublemakers. And when those people decide to ruin the day for employees and shoppers, we can only hope the cops are there to stop them, and [music] when necessary, make it a memorable arrest that we have to see to believe.
