to an insurance violation and he should not have been on the road in the first place the driver here was regularly using the word cap which is a slang word for a lie or a falsehood and the suspect generally addressed the officers in an overly familiar manner ples are sort of suspended from mandatory Insurance violation that's cap what do you mean how I got this out of auction I got the right and stuff or at least something that sounds like like maybe a week and a half ago later that day a vehicle was spotted matching the description and police pulled them over due to the vehicle's heavily tinted windows in Florida tinted windows are legal but they have to meet certain visibility regulations from the outside the driver's windows were almost completely blocked presenting major safety concerns for the officers stop gv7 traffic stop 3629 High 3629 Highland it's gonna be a black charger backed in I'll get you the tag here in a sec I don't know he's like trying to get out dude roll the windows down roll the windows down roll the windows down the suspect's refusal to roll the windows down had the officers preparing for the worst case scenario and approach the vehicle with their did not seem to be on the vehicle ultimately the only charges here were the tinted windows which is a minor violation it typically results in fines license points or a simple request to have them to stand over there your house this this my house I can stand right here the traffic stops are in the road but you're on my property you are but you're on my property so I can stand right here I'm not doing anything I ma'am please I'm not interrupting your traffic stop though cop that as well have one chill out chill out ma'am I have to do a search of this I'm not stopping you but I'm telling you this is my yard I'm going to stand right here okay I'm not moving this is my yard you're not going to move from right there where I'm telling you do your job look how close we are to the but I'm not stopping you I can't have an I'm hindering you can't have an officer safely search this car he's right here I'm not going to do anything I'm not doing anything though why do I have to back up I have next to your car right next to by my car reasonable right here I'm reasonable the officer explained that the woman's Claim about standing 10 ft from the scene had no legal basis and it seemed like the woman was inventing her own rules we also learned that the suspect wasn't acting alone but instead was following his mother's incredibly dumb instructions I'm going to tell you right now your son is going to jail for obstruction he was pulled over in this vehicle for dark tent refused to roll the windows down creating a serious officer safety issue for everyone here multiple commands while the window was cracked to roll I told him not to roll it down he refused to do so you told him to do that then we'll put that in the booking sheet whyu so that's why the window com you guys are not going to find you that's fine he'll be out we not trying to find well go ahead and no we're going to wait okay that's fine R the car go ahead go ahead I told him not to roll the window down because he told he is a k9 ja they P my son in the traffic ma'am and then I don't want to touch her cuz I have blood in my hands she's about to go to they took my son's car off of my property they could have told it from my yard and I'm afraid that they're trying to plant something in it yes I am I spoke with the officer on the seene Myers you can hang up Church please that's against the law you cannot do that being unreasonable the woman clearly had a lack of trust with law enforcement in the past there have historically been cases of cops planning drugs on people innocent people and that's why police officers now have body cams to be fully transparent with the public and sadly for her the footage here would prove that both she and her son are both at fault I'm asking you to leave for about the fifth time if you refuse to do so you are going to jail for obstruction can you ask me this one question yes Ma'am why did you guys remove the car I'm researching it again when you already searched it video who was extremely overprotective was not that lucky on April 19th 2024 police responded to a local school regarding a domestic dispute between two students a violent altercation erupted between two girls and it was broken up by an officer and the principal of the school shockingly and at this point allegedly the mother of one of the girls was involved and was subsequently arrested we'll to school okay the little girl they start yell okay you your daughter and the other girl okay Haring her that's why you were walking her up here in the first place I was walking her up here in the first place to make sure that they was going to jump her and and to take her to talk to the principal okay yeah I got to get the other one it was wild yeah it's parent problem are the parents that's Mom in the back of the cruiser there mom's in the other Cruiser huh yeah in R what a mess and I saw like no you're not going to fight he's there trying they doesn't matter so and then when you got to get FY with them all a sudden you know how you're right offic the cops then spoke to the officer who tried to intervene during the fight in addition to fighting each other they appear to have seriously assaulted a law enforcement officer an incredibly serious offense instigating it all right in the middle of I know dude punched in the face elbowed in the face I'm like idiot on the ground one I got the one girl down and the one girl we just handcuff swinging hit me on top trying to get the mom and her like look the play on you cuz you were hitting me yeah yeah you were hitting me in the face I didn't even know that I didn't even know that any of this was even going to happen to be honest I'm like wait a minute I'm telling her like wait wait wait wait until we get into school they couldn't wait till we got in to school to talk right my daughter got she got to you know open up the door they both the girl was yelling she was yelling she got the car they walked up I hurried up and got out the car to keep them from fighting so but the little girl start disrespecting me calling me you know how some of these kids are now yeah and I'm just like hold on so then I got upset because don't allow no disrespect the mother claimed that the fight wasn't planned and you'd like to think that she did everything possible to keep her daughter out of trouble however when they spoke to the other girl the officers heard another conflicting story I'm with him now and she don't she just jealous was this like a planned fight or was this just happen out of the blue no it was it was planned it was planned but it wasn't supposed to happen that school oh okay so you knew you guys wanted to fight is just a matter when yeah yesterday she was looking for me with her mom and I was I was going home so you're here your dad d you off yeah and then that's when I'm walking toward school and then she pulled around her mom pulled around this parking lot and then she got they both got out the car and she talk about who want to fight my daughter they both running up on me I took my start fting you guys are fighting and then what happens once the police officer shows up honestly I blacked out I only remember half of it but I just remember me having her hoodie or whatever they told me to let go and I got punched in my head I I don't even know I was just screaming I got punch cuz try to remember because I mean it's going to be on video so I'm not going to say that you're trying to lie or cover up cuz I know when you're in a fight you're not going to remember everything but try not to leave anything out cuz it's going to be on the video of course so would you say it's a mutual fight or would somebody attack somebody else or no mutal what do you remember what the officer did I just remember him punching honestly and he was on top of her I we was both on the ground me and the girl was on the ground and then I got up and then she was on the ground on top of her and then I got got pun in my head when the cops witness a fight their first job is to get verbal commands and separate the two individuals however the teen here argued that the officer here used unnecessary force and then when they talked to the other girl in the fight she has a very similar story The reason I'm talking to you cuz I know you had a a fight with the other girl and the offer got involved and the other girl got struck do you ever anything about what the officer did as far as how he tried to break up the fight or what he did physically he was suffocating I told him that I couldn't breath so I mean so all right the other girl tried to explain to me that you guys have a problem with each other and you're going you want to fight each other and you guys did end up getting into a fight and then while you're fighting of course the officer is going to get involved to try to break it up whatever so what do you remember after you started fighting what happened once the officer got a hold of it ask yeah he didn't he didn't grab onto you till after you guys were starting to fight right I don't I so I mean when he was on you what what part of your body was he on top of a bit later another family member showed up this time it was the sister of the mother in the back of the cop car and just like the mother she only ended up making things worse looks like aggression runs deep in this family hold on hold on you can wait or you can leave okay keep running your mouth keep your mouth and you'll be in handcuffs and going with her too I will talk to you when I'm done calm down you get the hell out of Cal run your mouth she just there's no reason there's no reason I'm trying to get understanding two young girls going to fight that crap happens right the officer I wasn't here had to do what he had to do to break up the fight that's all it is so what I'm not sure what happened okay so I'm my thing is a grown woman said that he was hitting my knees in the face so the officer in there y'all okay breaking up is one thing y'all putting your hands on a kid is another I I was not right I wasn't so I can't tell you exactly what he did or what he did not do I don't know I I got here your niece was some handcuffs she said back Cru with me the entire time then she just got looked up so y'all this what I never understand it be okay for kids to bully and everything like unfortunately footage of the fight itself was not available so it's difficult to discern just who is telling the truth so once again they talked to the principal and asked for his account of what happened during the fight and it was his recollection that helped clarify the officer's actions so the best I can remember is I'm grabbing her right which girl which girl uh that's the other one that's not with the mom y yeah that's so I'm grabbing the other one I'm trying to pull her she's got a hole of her hoodie or whatever and then that lets go and then she grabs like hits bom of his gun so when you like so she's grabbing which part this part the bottom of it yeah just yanking on yeah just grabbing in that area I see it look like she's doing it to try to pull him away she actually trying to get to well that's the thing opin so my opinion is my opinion is I don't know I I can't make yeah you never know what the intent is we have assum so what happens if he she does grab it and go another actual address the same phone number as the police offic I don't know what this girl intent is so I'm going to take it from the most serious and work my way back down law enforcement is expected to use proportional restraint and in this case a very extreme threat required a very extreme response well after I I no because he got in the middle got in one I'm grabbing the other and you ground and sit on her because I got tired of holding her ultimately all three suspects were placed under arrest the mother got a charge of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing the daughter and the other girl were charged with disorderly conduct and assault on a peace officer on November 3rd 2023 in Ohio a police officer witnessed a red for Explorer making an a legal right turn forcing the cop to suddenly hit the brakes he stopped the vehicle and the female driver did not have her license with her after confirming her identity the officer detected a distinct smell of marijuana um so reason why I stopped you made that right turn from Pearl to Bagley you made it at a red light and I'm not sure if you realize but you almost struck me I apologize no I did not okay you got on you I actually don't have anything up to work I anything do take time of youro yeah you're supposed to treat it well that right there you can't even make a right turn at this time at the red light start like I'm not really used to this area right now I'm so sorry I'm going back home where's your job at it's not right there so there illegal inside this who smokes weed in here my just my again I enforcement they generally believe that the government's illegitimate and that laws don't apply to them and given her behavior it's possible she is one okay you've been given a lawful command I did it how she felt that her rights were being violated it was calmly explained by the supervisor why this was not the case if an officer okay even even without that smell of marijuana if you pull over and an officer ask you to step out of your car that's not true an officer that pulls you over has the legal right if they believe that you're making any any fertile movements any furtive movements or anything to search the driver's side area of the car that would mean removing you from the vehicle to do that okay you have to have plausible in this particular case marijuana is still legal or still illegal in the state of Ohio it is not legal so if an officer smells marijuana in your car and then they ask you to step out because they need to search your vehicle it's a probable cause search based on the smell of marijuana smell of marijuana is not a probable articular cause it is okay okay see that's where you're mistaken and the place on the side of the road is not the place to argue that that would be in the court of law eventually her father arrived on scene however he didn't give her the level of sympathy she expected from him he also confirmed what the officer suspected all along devices on the 27th of August 2023 in New Mexico an officer responded to a Sergeant's request for backup during a traffic stop upon arrival the sergeant was administering a sobriety test on a male driver he's trying to say I can't have fine well why don't you just go and put your phone up for a sec do what the officer tells you and then you can mess with your phone pry easy I'm going to light your okay you don't need you don't need the uh flashlight on your phone okay I'm going to follow you the whole way so you can imagine a line coming out of your Left Foot Right to this light right it's him he's the one with a cussing and everything else but right now he's being arrested for DWI we're going to let you have the car okay that way you don't have to pay a tow bill no please don't do this man please we already did okay please instead of having the car towed the officers kindly allowed the woman to take the car which is a pretty nice offer that not everyone receives however as the suspect was being placed in the cop car her maternal instincts appeared to kick in and she started harassing the arresting officer hey hey no don't you hear my [Music] K tell her not to leave that not for the the woman she hadn't driven to the scene as she'd been dropped off by someone else ultimately her attempts to help her son only worsen the situation for both of them my kid what hit your kid Mom yeah I got that he called Mom during the traffic stop shows up and jumps on his she shows up intoxicated in the end the mother was charged with battery on a police officer as well as resist Ing and obstructing an officer her son was charged with resisting evading and obstructing an officer having improper equipment and aggravated DWI on September 18th 2022 in Maron County California police responded to a report that a vehicle collided with a bicycle and suffered a flat tire police located a matching vehicle with a flat tire at a nearby gas station there was an 18-year-old woman in the driver's seat her 22-year-old sister and their mother the cops witness signs that one one of them if not all three were intoxicated roaden youas I 60 how close are you are you sorry nobody's driving wanted to come here and said okay well you guys hav't been here for 20 minutes somebody just saw you guys driving down Greenwood you ran over a bike grew we're not even from here we're from besid and she said she wanted to come here so over here listen I saw she needed gas so we P was a guy with you the having now been presented with conflicting information the cop owned in on one piece of evidence the not dispute in the state of California it's definitely illegal to have an open container of alcohol inside a vehicle regardless of who owns it who alcohol in the driver's side door why are you guys listening to my daughters and not me when I'm not the one who's drunk D was in the car with us gave him a someplace else he lives on Greenwood that's where came from he's in the garage right now with his dad and his girlfriend we is like this we're just doing our job I can't back up they have been all I don't know what they're all but they I don't know where they live on all I know suspect clearly struggled to balance properly the cop here thought she was intoxicated but had been chosen to drive because she was less intoxicated compared to her mom or sister I know that you told I really don't know anything about cars ultimately the cops decided she was lying and placed her under arrest unsurprisingly the Mother wasn't shy in expressing her anger about this what are youing her for put your palms together with your PR what are you arresting her for up no hell no that's my daughter would you ask your daughter was being arrested I'm going to lift your sleeves up what are you arresting for what do she don't worry about what are you what are you arresting her for you know you're a body cam right you're not going to answer me she's an adult I don't have to explain to my daughter she adult I'm going to make she doesn't have to answer you what is she being arrested you can call the jail and ask what she's been arrested you guys are really being that petty over that it's all about how you present yourself what is she being arrested for given the fact that they were over there doing field sobriety test is probably Obi you didn't catch her behind the wheel we don't you and she's intoxicated second birthday gets to spend the rest of it in jail that's you arrested both my daughters because both of your daughters made bad decisions apparently and you never did right no that's why I havee [Music] not and just like that the 22-year-old daughter had to spend and the rest of her birthday inside a jail cell the 22-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct her little sister was asked to provide a urine sample and it was a perfect opportunity to prove her sobriety to the officer so you have the opportunity to provide a urine sample okay are you willing to do [Music] that the problem is problem why why are you why am I asking you to do a urine sample because I believe that you're intoxicated no there's a myriad of reasons why I believe that you're intoxicated okay but I also think you're too I because I can't drive a Saturday I can't said the 18-year-old was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired underage consumption of alcohol resisting arrest and having an open container of alcohol in December 2022 she planned guilty to the OVI charge while the two other charges were dismissed on the 17th of August 2022 police were notified of shots being fired in a nearby neighborhood when they arrived on scene they quickly noticed a shady character man what's going on you get shot you get shot I'm good I'm good hold up hold up in the gunshots another passer by notified police that one of the teens was wearing a white T-shirt and black pants and another one was shirtless soon the officers discovered a person that match the over here all I got is a black mail no shirt walking this way he just took the shirt off in the car just got out the car I believe you I was told this by somebody else okay so M to I'll get her statement and her information and yours and that'll be it the officer gave the shirtless kid the benefit of the doubt but when another kid wearing a white T-shirt and black pants turned up he resumed investigating the area let me get your name too as well back up name that's it his mom no I'm the parent that's him yeah I'm the the house before I turn up for real go the house before I turn up leaving in the police car I promise you that the older sister tried to get her younger brother under control however while doing this she also tried to take control over the entire situation she put her brother in the house and then started bossing the cops around not talking to him I'm his parent I'm his guard TI tried that earlier today it didn't work with [Music] the get her identified and get her over here you're just being detained you're just being detained relax relax that's all you're not going to jail you're being detained in her efforts to protect her brother she inadvertently caused trouble for herself and escalated things even further even while handcuffed she continued trying to order the cops around okay I thought you was going to say please please take please shut you ain't T-shirt foolishly decided to put himself back in the middle of things what's your name I don't know I don't speak English get in the house that seem pretty good English to me you being detained I already told not arrested since he's a minor they then get on the phone with the boy's mother and explain the situation a few minutes later the boy's mother arrived on scene despite officers explaining the situation she was still adamant that her son and daughter had done nothing wrong all right so this is what we got first of all I'm stop you right there don't rush y'all don't pay for don't rush into the house and grab nothing that belong to me if it was a problem you should have asked one of my neighbors that my neighbors called me and that I would have came over here with no problem don't rush up on my kids and don't rush in nothing that y' don't pay for you know you can't do that but you was supposed to go in my house at all came got number two we had a shots fired incident really close by your son matches the description along with somebody else the other guy the other guy W up stopping and cooperating giving us his info we needed to talk to your son and get his info and get your info and is this your because we're talking mine and you got them in a car for what because she was trying to help him run away she was trying to prevent us from talking to him she was trying to prevent she's the guardian when I'm not here doesn't matter she does not have that right to prevent us from talking to him so if I have a problem with you guys because you guys have literally picked on me one of you guys have literally been standing in my doorway I'm standing in my door and minding my business and one of your officers pull out a gun on me turn around and another officer body sign you think I'm not going to run from all y'all when detaining a minor most states require that the parenter guardian is informed the older sister might be in charge of her brother while his mother's away but she still needed to be his legal guardian for her to be notified just fre to go out the now we need to get their information first no them out the car I can give you information I don't trust y'all that is not how that's not how that works man we have got to get their information we got to get everything taken care of can you please just help us out know all my kids we also need their information he knows all of their information hang on right up how how old is she why how we need to know how old she is ma'am she's of legal age to have right with his face when I'm not here that's that's not what I'm asking for is she is she 18 or older 17 or older yes okay go ahead and get the paperwork started for misdemeanor adult 1095 on the uh obstruction so that way we can get her identified and then we can get her out of here and then she'll just have her time in court have her time in court what obstruction what is instruction instruction she's cheing on her brother preventing us from talking to him helping him get away we still need to identify him she physically barred us from being able to pick her stuff out and then she also was refusing to identify herself when she was detained because of how she was she say that's my brother it should have been an IND discussion then you should have said okay well this is the situation and explain something to her she's going to be protective about was she was out here when we explained everything to her mother here vehemently defended her daughter but on false ground she seemed to have an incredibly strange view of what might be considered obstructing an officer the debate continued over the daughter's role as her brother's Guardian while discussing these technicalities she casually dropped the fact that this was not her son's first runin with the law last time they were talking to her and she called me and I pull up so that's why I'm confused about everything you're talking about this morning no period if I'm not here and something's happening and they and I get a phone call to come see what's going on they're talking to her so I'm confused well I don't know why cuz she inserts herself into it this morning she came up I don't know where she came from she came up and was saying that she was a parent and guardian and trying to pull pull because that's how she's listed she's not listed as a parent well she's not listed as a parent but she's listed as a we were looking for a parent we tried to calm her down we were trying to calm her down the L we didn't want to put her in cup she's going to do that I tried to explain to detect she has four encounters one was when she was in school she's walking down the street I guess something happened at one of the stores over there in Garden City she just got to school we're I'm literally on the phone with her talking to her whatever happened she didn't have nothing to do with and she was walking down the street officers came up and she said well I don't know what's going on back there I'm on the phone with my mom I'm going home she's about to pick me up they grabbed her picked up and body slammed her the officer also explained that they live in public housing giving the cops special privileges when searching people the same thing I told you last time in public housing we have the right authority to identify anybody we find in public housing because it's public housing That's the Law we asked him to identify he decided he wants to run around show out act act a fool so he detained until we could positively identify him pass that that's where the investigative method comes from why didn't he tell you he was trust me say that one that one get that one get him red up everybody over there you know you know how these kids are last time we talked about it too these kids get everybody amped up and they want to show out but why he didn't tell you guys who he was I know you know I know they of her I know you know and he knows but like I said once she started getting everybody up up that he stood there for a minute I mean he wasn't really cooperating with us but he wasn't running around AC a fool well she got everybody riled up then he's running in the house she's trying to block us in the door talking about you know waving her arms talking about going off on everybody so now she charged he's still getting identified so she ain't changed nothing but the fact that she got a cour in the future both of her children were released but her daughter was charged with obstruction and disorderly conduct she's later scheduled to appear in court no shell casings property damage or injuries were witnessed that day so the investigation regarding the gunshots was wrapped up in the end all these cases highlight that it's best for every parent to allow their children to experience the consequences of their actions while it's normal of course to feel protective of your children you also have to let them grow by learning from their mistakes
