I just pulled over. I found a man. They were walking in the road. Yes, it's safe. Social service. Don't take my children. Okay. Is this part of the I haven't done anything wrong. Okay. Breaking the law and going to jail for it is no joking matter. However, I always try to spice things up with some humor because life is too short and humor always makes things better. Also, I think we can all agree that it feels good to find out that the pers were punished for what they did. Arrested. You both are getting arrested. However, today's topic is different. Today's topic is so gruesome and so horrific that it will send shock waves through your system. This is one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life. Today, we'll focus not on the criminals as much as their victims. Today we pay tribute to children who have been failed by the only people who were never supposed to fail them, their parents. Those last parents were simply awful. But in truth, they were just junkies. They didn't mean to intentionally hurt or harm their kids. They were just stupid. But in this case, it's not that innocent at all, and it ended in the worst way possible. Be warned, this next story contains descriptions of child abuse and murder, which may be uncomfortable to watch and are not suitable for everyone. Viewer discretion is advised. Not only did the child not make it, but he went through hell at the hands of those closest to him. Logan Moanji was a 5-year-old boy whose sudden passing made headlines because the ones responsible were his mother, Anhared Williamson, her partner, John Cole, and his 14-year-old stepson Craig Mulligan. Even though he was a minor at the time, Mulligan's identity was revealed by the judge because that's how horrific this crime was. She's uh cracked basically and said that yeah, Jay punched Logan three or four times. She's also saying that Craig was uh in on it as well. You know, I wouldn't be at all surprised if that entire group of three have uh have been abusing that poor little kitty all along. Is there anything you'd like to add or Yeah. Can you tell my mom to off for me? Logan was born in March 2016 in Bridgen, Wales to Angered Williamson and Benjamin Moanji. They split up shortly after and the father returned to Brentwood, Essex, leaving Logan with his mom. In 2019, Williamson began to date Cole. That's when she stops Logan from seeing his father and that's also when the systemic abuse starts. In 2020, Logan was taken to a hospital for a dislocated shoulder, supposedly the result of falling down the stairs. A year later, he's in the hospital again because Craig Mulligan pushed him down the stairs, breaking his arm. Apparently, Mulligan was also overheard saying, "I love kids. I effing love kids. I love to punch kids in the head. It's orgasmic." The lack of any sign of remorse or emotion during Mulligan's interrogation is just chilling. I woke up in the middle of the night. Then dad come into the living room with me. I know we weren't meant to do [music] it, but we grabbed some of the rubbish in the back garden and we chucked it in the river. Now, it was all in like black bags and everything. I don't know what was in the bags. I can't remember. And then about 20 minutes after, we went back out to check whether they've gone [music] down. We didn't say anything. We were trying to be as quiet as we could cuz we didn't want to wait Logan or and Harry. And I don't know whether Logan was still there at that point cuz we didn't look. Logan was put on the protected child register but removed from it several months later despite the fact that Mulligan had already assaulted Logan and that he even threatened to kill him. He was allowed to move in with the family. That was just 5 days prior to Logan's supposed disappearance. On the morning of July 31st, Logan's mom called the police to report his disappearance. And she seemed to be frantic. Even a little too frantic. Please, please help me. Please. Where are you? My son not HERE. MY DAUGHTER NOT HERE. TAKE A BREATH. Take a breath cuz I can't understand crying. Where are you? Five. Lower lancing the song. Lower what? Sorry. Lower lansome freing song. TELL SOMEONE HE'S NOT HERE. OKAY. Who's not there? My son is alive. He's not here. Okay, take a breath. When did you see the last? I don't even last night and I just got up for my son and HE'S THE OTHER ONE. LOGAN, take a breath. He's five and he's gone. Can you SEE I need I need you to speak to me, not just shout. I know it's really full on and it's really scary. It's so cringey listening to her fake whale when she knows perfectly well what happened to her son and where he is. It's believed the [music] boy was seriously assaulted by Cole and Mulligan on the 29th of July. According to reports, the following day, the mother forcefully picked him up by his pajama top, which then ripped as she shouted at him to tell the truth. When a social worker named Deborah Williams paid a visit the following day, she was denied entry. She left after 20 minutes without seeing or hearing the boy. This CCTV footage from the night after shows Cole and Mulligan disposing of Logan's body around 2:30 a.m. throwing it in the river. After the body was found the following day, the couple was arrested. Okay. So, this is John. Okay. All right, John. Right. We've obviously got to speak to you. Well, what I need to tell you now, okay, 1822 Logan what you do not have to say anything that may harm your defense if you do not mention when question something which you rely on in court anything you do say may be given evidence okay the necessity for my arrest of you today is for promptive investigation protective person to prevent the loss to do with any evidence why am I getting you want to have a sit down there in a Have a sit down by sit by now. I'm going to sit down on you. Do you want to have a sit down below a minute? Right. Don't want you falling down. Right. Have a sit down below. Okay. Okay. Right. You're under suspicion of major. Okay. So, you do not you do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defense if you do not mention one question. something which you need to liable. Anything you do say may be given in [music] evidence. Necessity for the arrest, [laughter] okay, is to prevent loss of property, to allow a prompt and effective investigation, and to um protect vulnerable persons and children. Okay. We get social services. Don't take my children. Okay. It's just part of the message. I haven't done anything wrong. Okay. It's sickening to see these people afraid, shocked, and tearful when they're being arrested. Yet, they haven't shown an ounce of remorse for little Logan. The resulting autopsy later revealed that he had 15 external injuries to his body. He also suffered from a fractured collar bone, but there are no records [music] that this injury was ever reported or treated in any way. He weighed only around 20 kg and was helpless against his asylum. The experts say that the child's wounds were comparable to someone suffering a high-speed car crash. At first, all three suspects denied knowing anything about Logan's injuries, but pinned against the wall, they quickly turned on each other, giving us a glimpse into what little Logan had to live with. He was on the floor, [music] and rather than grabbing him's body, she's picked him up by his t-shirt, it's ripped. None of it is true. Why would John lay? Because John's a liar. Cuz he doesn't want to get done for murder. I wish I never let this man into my my son's life. [laughter] She's blaming me and my dad for everything when we haven't done anything. Neither has my dad. Now I'm just sick of this. She's just saying whatever she wants to get out of the cell. It later turned out that Cole was a member of the far-right group known as the National Front. Since Logan's father was of Kenyan descent and he was always suspicious of his wife cheating with her former husband, his hatred boiled over to the little boy. He would dehumanize Logan and punish him by making him stand outside in the cold. We'll probably never know what exactly happened to Logan. And it's sickening to see this feeble attempt of acting from his mother as the police are searching for her son. To see my biological son. HE IS UNCONSCIOUS. WHY IS HE UNCONSCIOUS? LISTEN, I DON'T KNOW. I don't know right now. THE BEST ALL I'M GETTING IS DECIDED. WHY IS NO ONE TELLING ME WHAT'S GOING ON? I DON'T KNOW. SWEET. LOOK, he's my baby. What's going on? Yeah, [laughter] I do. I'm not saying it's not reasonable. If he's unconscious, he needs me. He needs warm clothes. He needs mom. He needs his I feel so useless. I know. It's all my fault. On this channel, I often reflect on the police officers and what their experience was. What was this cop thinking about? Probably knowing that Logan was found dead with horrific injuries and listening to his mom whale. What did police officers Lauren Keel and Paul Cotton feel when they found Logan's body and then took turns giving him CPR for over 10 minutes? Even though his body temperature was 17° below normal and they knew all hope was gone. And what do you think these monsters deserve for their acts? Williamson got a minimum of 28 years in prison. Cole got 29 and Mulligan at least 15 years. Is that enough? Our next case happened across the pond in America in the city of Cleveland. A 5-year-old boy was missing for two months, but nobody seemed to notice. But then a surprising phone call from overseas would stir things up. The call would open the proverbial Pandora's box and unravel the horrific life and fate of Jordan Rodriguez. Cleveland police operator personally. May I help you? How you doing, ma'am? Um, I'm calling from overseas, but I got it's kind of a it's a I guess I need to talk to like an executive or somebody or I don't know if you can basically it's kind of messed up the whole situation, but my brother told me something and I just can't sleep at night as far as you know what pop what I don't I don't know. I I just kind of feel like I I need something for concerning your brother. Yeah, just I know I know it sounds crazy, but where is he? [clears throat] Um, he lives off of Detroit, so I don't know his direct address. Um, basically um he told me that something happened with one of the kids and um they didn't call the cops and basically he buried him and his girlfriend buried the kid in the backyard. Now, mind you, my brother is known to lie a lot. So, I kind of like blew it off and I was like, "Hey, man. It's not his kid. It's one of her kids." The man on the phone was Scott Rodriguez, a soldier who was deployed to Pakistan at the time of the call. The people he was talking about were his brother, Christopher Rodriguez, who was jailed at the time, and his partner, Lissa Rodriguez. Right after the call, the officers decided to check in on the tip and do a welfare check because up to that point, no one had reported Jordan missing. You mind if you step in? Okay. Um, involved. You have one of four or five year old. How old are you? Four. Okay. Is it a boy? A girl? What? A boy. A boy. What's the boy's name? Okay. Um, see if you can get a name. Anything. Well, we got a call say uh wanted us to check on the on the uh well-being of the uh five four to 5year-old kid. All my kids are good. Okay. What can we see? Okay, I believe you. Lissa claims the kids are good, but according to the call from Scott Rodriguez, one of them was not good at all. Just the fact that she couldn't remember her kid's age was alarming. But we all know that Lissa was trying to hide a horrible secret and the officers knew it as well as Seth Rodriguez had already explained what his brother had told him, and it was unbelievable. He what he told me was he came home um his girlfriend called him. He he rushed home and then like I think the little boy was like four or five. And mind you, I've only seen these kids like one time. So I couldn't tell you who they are, what it was about, but he told me that um that uh the boy was unresponsive. And I was like, "Okay." He's like, "Well, this kid had a you know, a lot of problems. Like he had like one lung [music] and one kidney." And I I don't even know if that part is true cuz I don't know these kids because he's going to be with this girl maybe in two years. And I've been like overseas the whole time. So I I only really met her like maybe once or twice in my life. And he told me all he told me was that the kid was buried in the backyard. Now that's all I know. And she had Yeah. Right in his backyard. And that's all he says. Like we buried him in the backyard. But the kid in question, I don't know what his name is, but I guess he has a lot of problems. So I guess the only way to really figure it out is figure out how many kids he actually has and then figure out which one's missing. Because what he did tell me that made me kind of believe the story was he said he told him and his girlfriend told um the older kids that he was staying with his with her sister who also has a special needs kid and that way they don't question it. This final bit of information will prove to be crucial. As the officers inspect Lissa's home and say hi to her kids, she spins her own web of lies. She tells them that she has a lot of kids and that some of them live with her while others do not. But it seems that the officers are familiar with what was said in the phone call and they go straight to the point. Notice how she gets inquisitive about the call that brought this all up. Do you have a child with special needs? Oh, Jordan? Yes, I do. How old is Jordan? Jordan, he is just turned five. Where's Jordan at? He's with his dad. He's visiting going to be visiting for the holiday. He's not [music] here with us right now. Right now for the holiday. Where's dad at? In Texas. [music] He's not even his dad who you guys are pertaining to. Maybe possibly. What was the call mainly about? Just checking the welfare. Pretty soon, the cops get even more suspicious because Lissa can't provide contact information and she's unable to remember Jordan's father's last name, even though they dated for over 2 years. The next day, the FBI got involved. And after spending hours digging in the backyard, they [music] found Jordan's body. He was buried in a 4tx4 ft grave wrapped in blankets and trash bags with a pull-up diaper covering his head. They placed mothballs in the bag to deter rodents. The autopsy revealed patterns of serious neglect and child abuse that lasted for a very long time. Lissa was arrested, interrogated, and confronted with the facts. Okay. Uh when I tell you some things have changed is we did talk with the coroner. Okay. And they finished their initial examination and there are some problems. The problems being Jordan had an old left wrist fracture. His left wrist was broken at some point and it was healed. It healed on its own. How? That's something you need to tell us. Jordan also has three fractured left ribs that healed on their own and a fractured right rib that healed on its own. And these are all injuries that were healing on their own without medical help. Which means he was in a lot of pain for a very long time. and you're not being honest about what was happening to this kid. I've watched this clip numerous times and being a parent myself, I cannot fathom how she can sit there and listen to this and not show an ounce of emotion. Not an ounce. But what she says next is even more horrific. She just listened to how her own little son went through so much [music] pain and for so long. And the only response she has is to make sure she's not blamed for it. see when what happened. I mean, I personally didn't, but I was scared of myself. Okay. Scared of. I think talking to my sister yesterday actually opened up my eyes a little bit and made me realize I should not be the only one taking full blame for this. I never put my hands on my kids. You can ask any of them. And a lot of people used to tell me maybe that's why sometimes your kids don't listen. You [snorts] know, sometimes I need to be more rough on them. But that's just not in me. Whatever her lies were, the evidence said otherwise. The way she treated Jordan was beyond comprehension. It was savage, brutal, and unjustifiable. Luckily, the judge felt the same way and gave maximum sentences to both perpetrators. In her final statement, she commended Scott Rodriguez for making the call, as well as the police officers and attorneys who were involved in this difficult case. The entire time, she was trying to hold back the tears while looking at pictures of Jordan's body. I know as a judge I'm not supposed to show emotion, and in 22 years I never have. This is one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life. And I don't understand, Mr. Rodriguez, why you don't want to cleanse yourself and tell the truth about what happened here. And I hope someday you do. Whatever this child's life was supposed to be, you make sure it didn't happen. You and Lissa, I look at friends and family and people who are desperate to have children and want to have families and you two have babies with no consideration. You just keep having them having them disregarding the value of their life, disregarding their purpose in life like they're less than an object. No regard. I didn't even hear you say you were sorry. I will not accept the recommendation for Mr. Rodriguez. These crimes are horrific. There's no question in my mind that this child was abused. It's clear. In the end, the suspects pleaded guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter, felonious assault, child endangering, and gross abuse of a corpse in Jordan's death. That way, they were allowed to avoid trial for murder, which carried a potential life sentence. Not only that, but the prosecutors agreed with the defense, recommending a sentence between 20 and 25 years in prison. Appalled by the crime, Judge Russo denied the recommendation and sentenced Lissa to 27 and Christopher to 28 years in prison, which was the maximum possible sentence by law. Speaking of phone calls, this next one is like something out of a horror movie. And frankly, I'm surprised no one from Hollywood had thought about using it. The call came in at 5:49 a.m. on January 14th, 2018, not long after a surveillance camera captured this. A security camera is rolling in a quiet suburban California neighborhood. At the house across the street, in the shadows, someone quietly opens a window and slips out. Watch there. A blurry figure stepping forward. A small uncertain girl [music] heading one way. Then she turns, hesitates, and starts to run, [music] clutching an old cell phone. That was my only chance. At least if something happened to me, [music] at least I tried. The shadowy figure was 17-year-old Jordan Turpin. She'd planned her escape for 2 months and had finally mustered up the courage to do it. But in 15 years, this was the first time she was out of the house, out in the world. It must have been scary as hell. The only thing she knew to do is something she saw on TV. Call 911. 91 emergency. What are you recording? Um, this is 911. Do you have an emergency? Um, I just ran away from home. Do you know what street you're on? Um, no. Uh, I just ran away from home because I live in a family of 15. Okay. Can you hear me? And we have abusing parents. Did you hear that? Okay. How did they abuse you? Okay. They hit us. They throw us They like [music] throw us across the room. They pull our hair. They They yank out our hair. I have two My two little sisters right now are chained up. Okay. How old are you? I'm 17. What's your name? Jordan Turpin. Jordan might have been 17 at the time, but having never experienced anything other than that house. In many respects, she was still a child. Imagine how much courage it took [music] to escape this house of horrors. She would later say that there was a beeping thingy in the house. What the kids thought was a security system [music] was in fact just a smoke alarm. This is her months later giving an interview for ABC explaining what it felt like. My whole body was shaking and [music] when I was holding the phone, I remember the phone was like I couldn't really dial 911 because I'm sorry. shaking, too. Yeah, I was shaking. So, I was trying like to to dial 911, but I couldn't even get my my thumb to press the buttons because I was shaking so bad. But, um I was like trying to like calm down. Thank you so much. Um, I was trying to like calm down so I could I could um to do it and then I finally like pressed it and then they answered. I literally never talked to somebody on the phone. What's your address? Okay, you got give me a minute. I'm just going to take them off. I've never been out. I don't go out much, so I don't know anything about the streets or anything. When she got out of the house, Jordan didn't even know what her address was. She gave the operator the zip code instead of the house number. Luckily, she brought an envelope she found at the house, and she was able to find the address with the help of the operator. In the meantime, the operator tracked her GPS signal, and a police car was already on its way. Her story seems so [music] far-fetched and ludicrous that it's difficult for the responding officer to believe any of it. So, naturally, he thinks this [music] 17-year-old might be on. and her response is astounding. Watch as the officer arrives at the scene as this little girl is about to experience her first conversation with an unknown person. Hi, what's going on? Okay, I just ran away from home. Okay. And I live in a family of 15. Okay. My two little sisters right now are chained up. They're chained up? Yes. Where are they chained up at? On their bed. Now, mother didn't chain them up just to be mean. Okay, perfect. They're chained up because they stole mother's food. Uhhuh. But I'm sorry if I talk too much. Okay. I've never talked to anybody out there, so I don't I I've never been alone with the person, so this is very hard for me to talk. Okay. How did you Do your parents know you left your house? No, they don't. Do you take any medication? What's the medication? Medication? Yeah. What's medication? Do you take pills? Do you take pills? Oh, I don't think I've ever took a pill before. Okay. Just put yourself in the shoes of the officer. He was ending a graveyard shift and expected to find a runaway and return her home. What he didn't expect was a scared rambling girl. I mean, would you believe her? She's got to be on or something, right? Well, in a few moments, the officer will get a wakeup call because he's about [music] to ask for some proof. Our parents are abusing. They abuse us. But the reason I called and the way that I managed to get out here, this is one of the most scariest things I've ever done. I'm terrified. But I called because my two little sisters, they're chained up right now. These are the pictures Jordan showed the officer. Handcuffs, chains, bruises, [music] and emaciated children. I'm sure you'll agree that something like that should never be in the same picture. Jordan also comments that they're filthy because they never take baths. This is proof enough for the officer. He calls for backup and then Jordan leads them back to the house. For over 2 minutes, they banged on the door until finally someone opened. Hi. Hi. Sorry to bug you. How you guys doing? Good. We got a call um for a check the welfare here at your house. So, uh check the welfare. So, just basically check on everybody, make sure everybody's okay. Yeah. Go ahead. Do you guys have kids in the house? Yes. In a moment, the officers will explain that they got a report from one of their kids, and their faces turn even paler than they already were. It was obvious that they were trying to cover their tracks, but at that point, it was impossible to do that. So, they make up a bogus story about how they were packing because they were about to leave. Pretty soon, they find kids in their rooms, some of them still shackled to their beds. They even find the chains that the parents tried to hide. I found the missing link. All right, let's just uh go ahead and detain the uh parents. Ma'am, why don't you step over here for a minute? Okay, with you. [music] And sir, step over here for a second. And they were about to step all the way to prison in chains similar to those they put on their kids. It turned out that these two were religious freaks [music] who believed God had instructed them to have as many kids as they could. But I'm pretty sure God didn't also tell them to chain them to the bed and abuse them. that came from their own sick minds. Later in court, some of the kids had the opportunity to read their statements. I cannot describe in words what we went through growing up. Sometimes I [music] still have nightmares of things that had happened such as my siblings being chained up or getting beaten. But that is the past and this is now. I love my parents and have forgiven them for a lot of the things they did to us. My parents took my whole life from me, but now I'm taking my life back. I'm in college now and living independently. I love hanging out with my friends and life is great. I believe everything happens for a reason. Life may have been bad, but it made me strong. I fought to become the person I am. I saw my dad change my mom. They almost changed me. But I realized what was happening. I immediately did what I could to not become like that. I'm a fighter. I'm strong. [music] And I'm shooting through life like a rocket. And another of the Turpin's kids that's shooting through life is none other than the hero of [music] the story, Jordan, who's since become a Tik Tok star in her own right. Her parents, however, got sentenced to 25 years to life. Let's hope it'll be the latter. Humans can be awful. Not only do we destroy the planet we live on and kill animals and anything else that lives around us, but we're also capable of doing terrible things, not only to each other, but even to our own kids. But today's video isn't about those people. It's not about the ones who do these unimaginable acts. Today's video is about their victims. It's about the ones who suffered needlessly and endured incredible hardship. Let's hope they're in a better place now and able to enjoy themselves free of pain. As for the wrongdoers, let us hope that they stay where they are and never get out. Do you agree?
