Please don't arrest me, please. Please don't ARREST ME, PLEASE. >> [screaming] >> HEY, NO, NO, NO. GET AWAY FROM ME FROM MY KID. >> STOP. STOP. We're going to the ground. Stop. >> I want my assistant. I WANT MY KID. OH, [ __ ] If I'm going to jail, I'm not going to jail sober. >> Being a single parent is never easy. Some people manage to do a really good job at it, but today we're taking a look at the other side of the spectrum. When these mothers get unhinged and lose control, things often end in some of the most insufferable single mother arrests of all time. >> ARIANA, COME HERE, BRO. I'LL TAKE THESE OFF. ARIANA! [screaming] >> WHEN IT COMES TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CASES, they're often hard to navigate, and it's not always immediately clear who the victim is and who's the aggressor. When emotions run high and the stories don't match, it can be hard for law enforcement to determine who's telling the truth. That's what happened in our next case on the 15th of August, 2025. >> Officer, do you live here? >> No, he don't. >> This is my WIFE'S HOUSE. >> I WANT ONE OF US TO GO OUTSIDE. >> I WANT ONE OF US TO TALK TO HIM OUTSIDE. >> RIGHT BY THE OUTSIDE. >> I still have things in here. I stayed here last night. My car is in the backyard. Also, she was with with her daughter. She beat her daughter, punched her in punched her in the mouth. >> Well, I'm going to come out here so we can we can talk. >> And guess what? She tried to get up in the morning and do the same thing to me. So, you know what I'm saying? She just ran me over with her car, hit me, knocked me on the ground in the dirt over there. I just grabbed went over there and grabbed my hat. Neighbors probably seen it. As soon as she did it, I got on my phone and called y'all, bro. She can't keep doing this [ __ ] to me or her. She does this [ __ ] all the time, and guess what? Now it's time for somebody to stand up for her and for me cuz we've been letting her get away with [ __ ] cuz she act like she got some mental problem. I'm not You can't keep doing that. >> The cops responded after reportedly a mother assaulted her teenage daughter. They were greeted by the ex-husband who said his ex-wife accused their daughter, a 14-year-old, of smoking cigarettes and the argument escalated. >> Her daughter me and her sitting down watching TV. She called her daughter her daughter come downstairs sit next to her. She said, "Blow your breath on me." She blow her breath on her. She smell smoke on her breath. So, she like, "You've been smoking." >> I mean you don't know what she doing. >> I'm not smoking man. So, I'm just trying to tell >> I understand. I understand. >> So, she like she like, "You've been smoking. You've been smoking." And punched her in the face. >> Okay. >> Jump on top of her. All four All four her on top of her on the couch. Slapped She caught her brother just going like this. She's slapping her slapping her slapping her slapping her slapping her. I'm trying to be like, "Hey chill hey don't hey don't do too much. Hey get off her. You're doing too much." "It's my kid." Da da da da She go and grab a hammer, grab mace, hold me off with hammer and mace. I can't stop her from doing what You know what I'm saying? So, that get calmed down. And then in the morning I just woke up >> Using a hammer and mace for discipline is way too brutal. The man here, Jacobian, said he'd had another argument with his ex that morning. It was over a car mechanic who was supposedly stealing from him. By the time the man was done showering, his ex was ready to kick him out. >> Then I get out the shower. I start going in the room get my clothes. She got my clothes, my watch, my jewelry, everything in her hand. And she got a hammer in her hand. And she And and mace. And she's like, "Get out the house." Of course I'm not going to get out the house naked. So, she grabs the clothes goes by the window. Like, "I'll throw the clothes out the window." So, I go over there. I said, "You give me my clothes." I snatched my clothes from her. >> Listen man, stop trying to grab on me. >> Don't start. So, then I start I grabbed my clothes from her. It's crazy this [ __ ] I swear. >> Yeah. >> I I grabbed my clothes from her. She tried to act like she was going to hit me hit hit me in the head about to do it again. Act like she about to hit me in the head with the hammer. Bam door got beat in the door. I just go like this. She's beat the door on top of my head. I stand in front of the car. I said, "I'm just hiding my chain so I can go." She drives on the gas like like enough to push me push me push me. And then she drives up all through the yard. Drives forward towards me like she's going to hit me. You know what I mean? I move out the way. When I move out the way, she go to she swerves the same way I I move out the way. So I got to try to double move out the way. And when I do that, she clip me and I fall in the dirt over there on the ground. >> So she not only assaulted her daughter, but also her ex-husband using the same hammer in the same mace. But as one of the cops interviewed Jacobian, a female officer went around back to talk to the suspect and she had a very different account of what had happened. >> Divorced. We've been divorced since 2023. >> Yeah. >> June. >> Yeah. >> I'm not going to make this up. This man don't live here. He's not on my lease. He does not live here. He came and stayed the night. He trying to stir up the pot and stay out of this so I can go to jail. And then he got access to my kid. She 14 years old. She's disabled herself. I caught her smoking last night. >> Okay. >> I said, "What was you smoking?" You can ask her yourself. She sat right here cuz I told her I said you can for respite. She get to go certain places with her respite worker. So I said, "What happens if I tell your respite worker what you think this is going to be? You know what I'm saying? You're smoking. Period. Point blank. That's a no-go." He hearing me frustrated. You know what I'm saying? So I I'll be on my back porch smoking my cigarette away from the kids getting the clear. >> The whole time. >> I've been on the phone with her. >> Yeah. >> She's been in my pocket. >> Okay. >> The whole time. Hearing everything that's been going on. Why? Because I want somebody else's witness this. I just went through this with this man in 2024. >> The woman said that her ex tried to keep her in her room and even barricaded her inside. That's when she used the hammer to try and open the door. The daughter heard the conversation about her dad being hit by a car and went outside to make sure he was okay. >> He tried to put on the pressure on the front chain on. >> Yeah. Yeah, she said she won't get you on the car. Is she in? >> No. >> I'm scared. >> No, come out here. No, get out here. >> I was seeing nails in the light. >> Did you brush your nails? I know she tried to hit you with the tool. >> Please, what brushes? >> No, I just want to ask. Right there, on the bridge. Does that look familiar to you? Just I mean, cuz I don't know where the nail is. >> This side. >> Yeah, okay. >> What are you doing up here? >> I I just was picking up his stuff and you know, trying to see if I had his chain or whatever y'all said he missed. That's it. >> I mean, we're going to we're going to walk outside, okay? >> Y'all about to take me to jail? >> Walk over here, please. >> Can you answer that? >> Walk over here, please. >> Is that a yes? >> [music] >> I'm asking you to walk over here. >> I'm asking so I can so I can put on this shirt. I'm in my pajamas. >> This way, please. You're not going to change? Please. Come on. >> Okay. >> Stop. >> I'm not really Listen, can I please just No. Listen. >> At first, the suspect didn't resist and maintained her composure and followed the cops' orders. But as the thought of going to jail slowly set in on her, she then broke down crying and let her emotions get the best of her. >> I'm going to jail for no reason, bro. >> THE STOP STOP. >> NO, WHY ARE YOU TAKING ME TO JAIL? >> STOP THIS, BRO. STOP. >> You taking me to jail for nothing, bro. >> Stop. >> Do that and stop. >> LET ME GO. >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> DON'T GET ARIANA, BRO. >> COME ON. WALK OUT HERE. WALK. WALK. >> I DIDN'T KNOW THAT'S WHAT SHE YOU CAN PUT HER IN MY CAR. You're going to go in the back. You're going to go in the back. >> Bro. Bro. Bro, I swear to god. SWEAR TO GOD, BRO. >> STOP. >> It is weird. How do I This happening right >> nothing to do with the guy but what you did to your daughter. >> BRO, HER ARREST WARRANT DIDN'T SHE TELL YOU? >> DID HER ARREST warrant didn't she tell you, bro? >> In the meantime, one of their family members, Ariana, arrived. She was there to take care of the kids, but she immediately started to argue with Jacobia. Meanwhile, instead of calming down and making things easier on her family, the suspect continued spiraling out of control. >> She don't have nothing to do with CSD. So, what is she going to do? >> Mom is arrested. This is our procedure. >> That's all y'all WANT TO DO, BRO. >> YOU DON'T WANT TO GO IN THE BACK. >> THAT'S WHAT IT IS. ARIANA, COME HERE, BRO. >> WHO'S ARIANA? >> I'LL TAKE THESE OFF. HEY, GIVE [screaming] MY PURSE. ARIANA. ARIANA. ARIANA. >> [screaming] >> ARIANA. ARIANA. >> Why don't they go with the family? >> Man, you man >> I didn't do this I Hey, man, I swear I wish y'all would listen to me. I did not do this >> You called HIM TO HER HOUSE, SO JACOBIA, AND YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. >> LET ME LET ME LET ME SHE WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY CLOTHES. >> LET ME SPEAK FOR A SECOND. WHAT HAPPENED WITH WHAT YOU'RE COMPLAINING ABOUT is not Listen for a second. >> OH GOD. >> CSB CSB wants the kids to go with people they know. They like to give the kids to the family. >> You don't want to do it anyway. And I did not do this >> Essentially, until the mother returned, everybody here wanted the kids to go with family. But when emotions get this high, it's sometimes hard to listen to reason, so the pointless argument just kept on going. >> I made an allegation ON HER. >> HOW ELSE WOULD they come here to say >> She beat up everybody IN THE [ __ ] HOUSE. >> IF YOU GUYS DO NOT STOP, YOU GUYS ARE BOTH going to get arrested because of the conduct. >> The lady came to the door and said that. >> DO YOU UNDERSTAND? >> [screaming] >> STOP. IF YOU CAN'T RELAX, YOU'RE GOING TO GO IN THE RAFT. I don't want to put you in that. >> CAN YOU PLEASE I'M DONE. IT'S FOR HER WELFARE THAT NEWBORN IN THERE, BRO. >> YOU ARE HERE with the The kids are our responsibility now. They're going to go to CPS. They will be fine. >> It was a textbook example of how when emotions get high, things always get worse. Luckily, no other people got arrested. The only one taken to jail that day was the mother, and she was later charged with domestic violence. When a couple separates on bad terms, emotions run high and they don't always act rationally. On the 19th of September, 2025, a man called police claiming his ex had made false claims about him. She said the man exposed himself during a FaceTime call with their infant. Sure enough, her call came in shortly after. >> What's going on? >> So, called to say that I'm going to battle and I'll explain to you what I will have today. >> Yes, ma'am. >> So, today my My ex has been saying, you know, I've stopped calling him because literally every single time I do he uses that as an opportunity to undermine undermine my parenting, calling the cops every day, CPS every day like the second case and everyone's like we don't know what's going on and so Anyway, so this morning I call him. I see something I >> You're good. Take your time. >> I I see him like I'm scared because he's naked the one I'm FaceTiming with to FaceTime my son and I guess he's used to us calling later because I usually sleep late but I have whatever so I got up a little bit earlier and so we called him so I guess I caught him off guard. And then he has the phone and I'm like what's going on and it's worth the baby. Why is worth a diaper? And so he drops his phone and then I guess he has like naked and then >> Okay. >> I I honestly hung up the phone and I call I don't call myself I pull myself together and I call back. >> Okay. >> The woman said that as he was holding their toddler, she'd seen her ex completely naked. Supposedly, she hung the call off and immediately called police. But that wasn't all and she had another alarming thing to report. >> And then he's his sister's in the background who by the way he's in like a weird relationship with which I guess is why we're no longer together so now that's why he's living there with her. >> Oh, that's weird. >> And so I I should have known and honestly that's why I'm so because I heard said that he was going to kidnap her from the he told me he was going to call the cops before I could do anything. >> Yes, ma'am. >> So I understand that so I let it go and then this morning when he gets back on the phone she's video taping and I'm wearing a strapless bra and holding my son and he's trying to say that I'm doing something inappropriate with my son because our power's out so we were he was sleeping without a shirt. >> Okay. >> And we're on the phone with him and so now he's got his sister in the background recording trying to get me doing something and this is literally what I deal with. It's like he does something and then calls the cops and tries to say it was me. So, for example, we were just at that Walmart there cuz I was trying to do the right thing and buy my daughter >> Mhm. >> a stroller because he doesn't have any money. He's on disability. >> She tried to paint her ex as being inappropriate and manipulating as well. As her story drifted back into the past, they asked the woman to focus only on what happened that day. >> So, was he laying in bed with her naked? Um while y'all were on FaceTime and stuff like that. Did you see anything like to show he was naked or >> his That's all I saw and [music] I I freak I lost it. I started bawling. Heart I literally I called the cops. And then I called tried to call him back like I said. Try and get And then he then he comes out. I said I tried to say to him if it was a misunderstanding but then I see his sister in the background taping me on the phone and he's saying, "Why were you in the bed with your son without your shirt on? What were you doing >> Was he fully dressed or fully undressed at that point? >> No, he was dressed. He was fully dressed as if nothing happened. This is what I deal with >> [music] >> because it's like smoke and mirrors. He tries to make everybody think that I'm this monster. As you've seen with the Walmart pathetic that is not the case. >> Okay, can you do me a favor real quick? Can you raise your hand for me? Can you state your name for me? >> Melissa. >> I'm sorry? >> Melissa. >> At that point, the officer asked the woman, Melissa, to swear that everything she said was true. Once that was done, he gave her one more chance to come clean. The officer obviously knew something that the woman didn't. >> I want to let you know we did go out there and check on the child, okay? Is there anything that you want to go ahead and come clean about? >> No, sir. >> Okay. So, we went out there and we talked to him. The whole time the video the conversation was on. The whole time the FaceTime was recorded. >> This was before he >> Hang Hang on. I'm talking, okay? It was recorded the whole time. And we saw from the whole time of him holding your daughter you >> Can you just arrest me, STOP. COME HERE. >> [screaming] >> DO NOT DO THIS. LET'S GO. >> [laughter] >> STOP. YOUR SON IS IN THE CAR. >> STOP. Enough is enough. Turn around and face the car now. Turn around and face the car. Turn around and face the car. Turn around and face the vehicle. I have had enough. >> Yes, ma'am. Go ahead and search her. >> Once again, a child got caught up in their parents' foolishness. As the woman was arrested, the boy was heard whimpering in the car, and the officer immediately went to console him. >> Hey, buddy. You okay? Hi. What's up? This She's fine, okay? I have a question for you. How are you doing today? Okay. Just go ahead and face forward for me for a little bit, okay? >> Stop. I had my last cigarette, [laughter] nothing else to do. Ma'am, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. Ma'am, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Ma'am, [snorts] I'm sorry. Face the vehicle and stop. Enough. >> Oh, lovely. Do you have a medical marijuana card? You'll get a bag real quick. >> Once Melissa was detained, [music] the officer then called her ex to come and pick his son up. After she lied to the cops and they found marijuana in her possession, it wasn't looking good for her. >> Everybody has a choice. Yeah, go ahead and put that in. She'll get charged for that, too. >> I'm sorry. >> Nope. >> I know I'm getting arrested. I need a lawyer. Can I speak to a lawyer? Can I speak to a lawyer? I I a lawyer. Lawyer. >> Lawyer. >> He's going to have a lawyer. >> Go and slide in there. >> Lawyer. >> That's fine. >> What are you doing? >> It's okay. Listen, mommy's going to come with us, okay? But we got daddy on the way, okay? It's okay. >> What are you guys doing? >> She's going to take a ride with us for today, okay? Do you have anything with you? >> What are you going to do with me? >> Yeah. >> Why? >> Cuz she made some bad decisions, buddy. >> What did she do? >> It's okay. I'm going to let daddy come and talk to you, okay? Daddy's going to come get you in just a minute, okay? Are you hurt or anything? >> Yeah. >> What's wrong? >> [snorts] >> My heart is broken. >> Oh, baby. I know. >> Mommy gave me the best life. >> You're okay. >> It's not fair. >> The officer informed Melissa that she was being arrested for false reports, resisting without violence, and for the drug paraphernalia they'd found in her possession. Just a minute later, the child's father showed up. >> So, I'm obviously going to let you know what's going on, okay? So, we were interviewing her saying and stuff like that. Then we called her out on her not being honest with us. At that point, she tried taking off from us, so we had to go hands-on. >> She what? >> She tried running from us. >> Oh. >> So, we had to get her and stuff. He was in the car, turned around as it was happening. Obviously, we had to do what we did, so that was going on, okay? >> It's okay, buddy. >> Uh are you good taking him and everything? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you have any questions for us? >> I have nothing but thanks. >> Okay. >> As disgusting as that might even sound. >> Do we have any stickers or anything? >> I can get him on the right track now. >> Okay. >> Oh, man. Buddy, I >> You want a sticker, buddy? >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. We're going to see if we have any stickers or anything for you, okay? Give me a high five. >> Don't worry. I know it's it's going to be crazy, but things are going to go back to normal. >> In the meantime, Melissa had a moment to reflect on her actions. She said she'd lied to the cops due to her ongoing custody battle. She insisted her ex was scheming against her, so she had to take very drastic measures. >> I don't know what's going on with y'all, and I'm not saying you're a bad person. >> I understand that, sir. [music] I know. >> Okay, ma'am. >> I accept I accept Yeah, I accept the consequences of my actions, for sure I do. I know you're just doing your job. I get it. And honestly, I was just trying to do my job, but I did went about it the wrong way, and I guess this is how I I just have to deal with the consequences. It is what it is. I was just telling my son about integrity, and that's I I'm a hypocrite. >> I got you. >> So, I'm sorry. >> We got to do what's best for our kids and stuff like that, but sometimes it's showing them the right way to do things and not the wrong way, okay? Cuz now, unfortunately, your son had to see you being taken into custody, and we were trying to do stuff a different way until you started trying to take off from us, okay? So. >> No, I get it. I've never been arrested before. Am I cool? >> This is a bad way to get arrested, girl. >> You know, I'd rather it be for this than something like like he's trying to accuse me of. >> What do you mean? Yeah, but you know you just caught a felony, right? No, not going to prison. Obviously, you're innocent till proven guilty, but that's what you're being charged with a felony for making a false report to a law enforcement officer. >> What about the false reports that he makes? >> On the ride down to jail, she went from bursting into laughter to crying her eyes out. She was eventually charged with resisting without violence, falsely reporting child abuse, and possession of cannabis less than 20 g. She was sentenced to 2 years probation, and had to pay fines and court costs of almost $800. >> [music] >> Child neglect comes in various forms, and it doesn't always involve direct physical harm. Sometimes, it's as simple as exposing your child to a bad person. This particular case started with a shoplifting incident on July 23rd, 2024 at a Dollar General store. >> So, so I had a gentleman down the road up to give him a ride here to Dollar General, and he got down I don't know what this dude was doing. He was blocking the gate and all this and that. And so this guy's yelling, "Help me." Whatever this crap is. I get out of the car and I'm like, "Well, what's going on?" You know? And he's spraying me with the pepper spray, mind you. And I don't even know what's going on. Doesn't explain himself or nothing. He's The guy's yelling for water and stuff like that. So, he's coming around, getting close to my car, getting close to my kid, trying to take my license plate down. And he sprayed his pepper spray. As he's spraying his pepper spray, I'm covering my kid. So, all my back is covered in pepper spray. Okay, so this gentleman sees everything, okay? I sprayed him cuz he got close to me. I felt threatened. So, yes, I sprayed him. >> Real quick, where is the guy you picked up? >> I don't know. He took off on foot. >> He knows you? He was >> I don't know him. How can you say I know him? >> Real quick, real quick. >> Asking her by name, "Angela, give me water." >> Angela, whatever his name was. >> Sit in the car, please. I'll talk to you in a second. >> According to the woman, she was assaulted by the employee and her children suffered the effects of the pepper spray. But when the officer talked to the employees, they had a very different account of what had happened. >> So, this guy, he's filling up a shopping cart going throughout this store and I'm I know what exactly what he's going to do. I've seen it before. And sure enough, he comes through here acting like he's going to pay. And he comes right right by me here. And I let him go cuz I already had the front gate locked, had the doors on off and I could just open manually. I opened the doors for him. He went through, shut the doors in behind him. I locked it and I called the sheriff right away. He started beating on my glass and pounding the [ __ ] out of my doors. So, I pepper sprayed him. Calm him down, get him to stop. He did for about 20 minutes. Then he got crazy again. He was having communication with her 100%. "Bring me water." And she was getting in my face, coming up onto the sidewalk, "What's going on? What's going on?" She knew exactly what's going on. And I told her, "Do not come near me or I'll mace you." And she didn't. And that was good. But then when I walked around to get her license plate, a picture of it, she started getting my face and being weird. I said, "Well, get out of my face and start backing up." And she sprayed me. I didn't do anything to her. And as soon as she sprayed me, I sprayed her back. >> Basically, it was a shoplifting incident that turned into a pepper spray battle in the parking lot. Once again, the kids got caught in the crossfire. Apparently, the suspect, who she claimed to have picked up earlier, came back to the store, broke a window to get in, and then ran out the back. >> And he ran out the back. I saw him at the laundry. He is definitely at the laundry and he is >> The laundry by the car wash over here? >> And and I'm not trying to be funny or anything. She's lying. I watched that man get out of the car and I watched her spray him first. >> Well, she said she He came out down the street. >> No, she got a ride. >> No, she didn't. Her name is I >> And how how long ago did they say they saw him down at the car wash? >> Just She just The lady right there that's getting in the car, talking to the officer. >> They just told me He just pulled up. >> And he said the man >> the door with it and that's when he ran off. >> 24634. >> And then, can you confirm what he was wearing? Do you know? >> Dark blue jeans. [music] He had a white short-sleeved baseball shirt with the number 15 >> He's got He's got no shirt now. >> Yeah, and he's got a black white He took it off. On his back, he's got large >> Did Did he hit anybody or threaten anybody? >> No. No. He's got tattoos on his face, down his neck, and all across his entire back. >> The stories from the staff matched and they were able to give the officer a pretty good description. They also had video footage from both inside the store as well as the parking lot. >> And you'll see him break the window here, too. That's me out front. >> So, he had a shirt on underneath that shirt he had on? >> He had a shirt on. He was shirtless. That's right. So, I I didn't see the black white he was wearing. But, he took the shirt off cuz he was burning. >> See here she comes. Give her some water. What did he break it with? >> His foot. >> Oh, he kicked it out of there. >> There he goes. There he is. >> Uh do you have an idea on him? >> Yeah. >> There you go. And would you be able to fill out a statement for me? >> Sure. Go. >> You're right there. >> But, that's where the pepper spray happened. The only way I think she could have gotten it on her kid is if she touched him after that. >> it from her, yeah, because I was directly behind the car when I sprayed mine. >> Since the video footage corroborated with what the staff said, it was time to ask the mother, Angelica, a few more questions. The cops first had to determine if she was an innocent bystander or a willing participant in the theft. >> I'm Angelica. While we're waiting, can I just clarify some things with you? Uh-huh. So, from what you told me, you picked up this individual, you don't know who he is, down the road somewhere. >> Yeah. >> Where would you say down there? >> Oh, like by the highway. >> Did he pick you up on the highway? Did he ask you to come here or did you come here? >> Yeah, I came here. >> So, you came here, he goes inside, you're staying in the car with the babies. >> Yeah, I stayed in the car with the babies. >> You hear something happening in the front of the store, you get out to go check, the manager's yelling at the other individual. Did you pull your mace out at that time or did the other guy? >> No, he did. So, he said, "If you come any closer, I'm going to spray you." I said, "Well, what's going on?" At that point, I'm like, "Well, what's going on?" You know? >> And you were by >> And I was right here by the post cuz he was already >> And he was going to try spraying you? >> What is it that made you pick up this guy? I don't know. I mean, usually I I mean, I talk to a lot of people around everywhere, you know? When I stopped, I just asked, "Can you give a ride?" And he was like, "Yeah, can I get a ride?" I was like, "Okay, well, let's go down to the Dollar Store." I said, "I got to get some things." >> While Angelica claimed the man didn't have any weapons, it was still a safety concern. Sadly, she'd invited a stranger in her car with two young kids inside, and she didn't see anything wrong with it. The cop tried to explain to the woman why that wasn't a good idea. >> He's like, "Oh, he's stealing." I was like, "I didn't know he was going to come in here and steal." >> He goes, "You're lying. You were with him." I was like, >> So, I'll be honest right now, I'm not too concerned about that aspect. My partner's investigating that aspect, and your what you're telling me matches what the witness told me. My concern right now is why did you let an unknown male into your car when you had a 6-month-old and a 3-year-old in your >> I need me your license and registration. >> Um I think you guys have it. Yeah, and that's when I pulled this out. >> What's your name? >> Yeah, it's a domestic violence thing I do. >> I don't want to pull it out cuz I don't want to show you. >> Oh, no, no, I'm so sorry. Yeah, no, no, no, no. >> Is that something you normally do is pick up strangers? >> Um sometimes, yeah. Sometimes when I see, you know, when I see them or whatever and I see it's a hot day, like I'll pick them up or whatever. My dad always tells me not to be doing that, unfortunately, because it could be dangerous, especially with people out here. But, you know, I learned the hard way, I guess, cuz this is what I just got myself into and like >> And that's why I'm asking you. >> Exactly. This spray is no joke, you know what I mean? >> To make things even worse, Angelica claimed to be a teacher for kids with disabilities. To be responsible for children, she should have clearly been aware of stranger danger. While she basically admitted to putting her kids in a dangerous situation, she was still treating it like it was no big deal. >> It does happen quite often that you pick up strangers. >> Yeah. >> Just to get them out of the heat. That sort of thing. >> Do you mean children? >> Nothing about him that you saw concerning you, you just wanted to help him. >> No, maybe. >> How often would you say you do that? >> I mainly only do it for children and females when I see them walking. I would say I do it about six times a week, you >> Six times a week. Okay. >> Cuz I do work for Lyft, too, so it's like >> In this car? >> No, not in this car. I have another car that I work for Lyft. This is a loaner from the dealership. >> Okay. So, here's the deal. I need to talk to my supervisor for a second. Based on what you're telling me, I am going to go ahead and just detain you for right now. And put you in the back of my car. You're not under arrest at this time. I just needed to talk to him and possibly call a few detectives and they might want to speak to you, okay? >> Even after they detained the woman and she was placed in a squad car, she still failed to understand how serious the problem was. She said she'd learned her lesson, but kept acting like it was one big joke. >> I pick up older men. I pick up I pick up anybody. >> All right. So, do you understand how that can you danger to you and children? >> I told officer already that I am I know I understand like that's dangerous you know and can lead to things that like this. >> Basically you have absolutely no idea who this guy is. No name, no nothing. Well you have to decide what's next we're going to be getting hold of the crimes against children unit. Okay? >> He is no. >> Especially until we got to got to identify who this guy is so. >> I don't know like >> Hang up. Hang up. >> My babies. I want my kids. You guys can't arrest me I'm telling you. There's no one talking to mom. There was no child involved. I want my kids. I need to call my parents. You guys are doing this all wrong. You guys ARE DOING THIS WRONG. OH MY KIDS. >> [screaming] >> MY BABIES. >> PICKING UP A HITCHHIKER, which is a seemingly good deed, >> [music] >> can still become a serious matter. They arrested the woman and she was taken to jail and she was later charged with child as well as battery. Now let's head off to Las Cruces, New Mexico where on the 28th of August, 2025 a 911 call came in from a daycare center reporting a very aggressive parent. Here's what the staff had to say about the events that transpired. >> Has she always had a problem like with specific staff members or just everybody [music] in general? >> Well see she got upset with me cuz I was smiling when I was having a conversation so she told me when I told you I would appreciate it when you talk to me you don't smile and I'm like crap like what am I supposed to do you know? >> Yeah. >> Like she was upset cuz she wanted me to be upset with [music] her and I told her I can't give you the same you know so since then she was upset and she's like well she would appreciate it if I didn't smile at her when I when I I would have conversations with her. >> And before she never had problems with you or you never dealt with her? >> Well yes I the day before that that was was yesterday when she asked me that you know, >> Our owner says be prepared she's not going to shut up. >> [laughter] >> All right. It's okay. >> Um, the day before she took out her phone and she was like, "We're going to have to milk court this whole thing." And I'm like, "We're just trying to have a conversation." And she's like, "You just said you're taking legal action." She We never said anything legal, [music] nothing ever. Um, but she's like, "You're You're cornering me." And we're literally like There's cameras We let her know there's cameras. They're here for your protection, our protection. >> The staff explained they've been warned by the children's father that his ex was mentally unstable. He'd also begged the staff to not disenroll their kids because of her. It was clear it wasn't her first outburst either at the kindergarten or at home. >> There was once that it started with me um a few weeks ago. >> Mhm. >> That she got really angry with me cuz I told her I was the chief operations officer. "Oh, that's a title. That's a title. You're throwing out titles." I'm like, "Okay, I'm just telling you that I did >> [laughter] >> You know, you just never So, she she came at me like literally with her phone. Yes. And so, I was like, you know, I You turn away from her and try to not get confrontational with her because she's just I don't want to mess with this. Let's see. >> Okay. >> part of it. Yes, ma'am. >> Hey, are you going to give her a criminal trespass order? >> Uh you're on speaker, okay? >> Well, ask him if he can he give her a no trespass order so she doesn't come back anymore? >> I could advise her that you don't want her here. >> mental She's very argumentative. She I spoke to her ex-husband and he says, "You know, you're not going to get anywhere with her." >> The owner said that she did have one nice conversation with the suspect. After the woman apologized the day before, she was told to send an email in the future to avoid any issues. But the next day she showed up again and that's when things escalated. Luckily for them, everything had been captured on camera. >> And because she got in your face like that, I I you was going to come at you for a second cuz she's like you What did she tell you you could do? This is harassment. You being in my presence is harassment. >> It seems like she's really unstable. >> Yeah, very unstable. And see, like even like when she she won't look at you. So, like even if you try to have a conversation, like her eyes are like >> Look at me or else. >> No, like they're like going in and out. I don't know what that's called. >> Like slow movement kind of? >> Yeah, like she's like talking to you, but it's like she's >> She's not connecting. She's not connecting. You know, like when you make eye contact with somebody, you make eye contact. You know, she doesn't >> If she comes for me >> [laughter] >> how fast do you think you can get there? >> I would say I would say 911. And what was she telling you guys there? >> That she was harassing her. >> That she was harassing her? >> Yes. Because [singing] she came at me. I was like she moved to the side. >> I'm like, "I'll get out of your presence. I'll sit down." >> And then she >> Did you feel like she was going to hit you? >> Yeah, she came at >> The cop concluded that there was enough evidence to charge the woman, and the staff wanted to press charges as well. Once he got back in his vehicle, he got in contact with the suspect and informed her of what was happening. The next day he tracked her down, locating the woman at the Children, Youth, and Families Department. Are you going to stay in here, or do you want to step out right here in the door area right here? >> I want to talk to you about being arrested. >> Yeah, you want to come right here and talk to me? >> Yeah, but these are my two children. >> Okay. >> Can I Sorry, I'm doing the investigation >> Okay. >> You guys are not able to find somebody to pick them up, or is that what that's what I'm understanding, right? >> I don't have family member here. My ex-husband is um He's on vacation. I can't get a hold of him. >> Okay. >> So, I would like to speak to you about the arrest, because I feel like there's things that you're that you're not aware of. >> No, I I watched the video footage. I have enough to charge you. That's what I'm telling you. Like, there there's no way around that. >> Having a hunch the woman might be arrested, the worker there at CFYD wanted to resolve the situation as soon as possible. However, there was no one to pick the kids up, and the woman was still hoping to persuade the cop not to arrest her. >> Sir, >> Okay. >> I did not I did not >> That's That's not We're not going to put him in the back cuz that's already done. I watched the video footage. I got their statements of what the incident caused. I saw you walk up to her face, and then she backs up, and then she sits down because she was scared that you were going to hit her. All right? Just cuz you didn't put your hands on her does not mean >> What did the employees say? >> That you came in and you started issues at the place, and this is the third day that you got her harassing staff and getting in their face and trying to force them to sign >> Can I Can I show you videos? >> Yeah, you can show me videos. >> Okay. This all started about a couple weeks ago, maybe a month ago. Around the time that I made a complaint with them. My daughter's autistic. She's been soiling in her um pants, in her her underwear, and they have not been monitoring her. >> She kept trying to show the cop video of previous altercations, but the officer explained to the woman that anything recorded prior to yesterday would have no bearing on her arrest. She was struggling to find the right video for him, and then she showed the wrong one. >> I have it on recording, ma'am. I yes, I do. >> [music] >> And you didn't tell me that this is not assault. >> You just told me that you're going to involve legal with me and you. Okay, now I'm telling you and you better not touch my phone. And you better not touch my phone. >> But what I did is assault. >> I am going to exit. Don't you dare Don't you dare touch me. >> No, this was today. This was yesterday. This is Tuesday today. >> Do you not touch my phone. >> And you said you called the office. >> Yeah, they didn't tell me we had a phone call. We had a We had a conversation that I could still bring my children in there. So, I brought them in on Wednesday and Thursday and it happened Thursday. So, you're telling me that that is an assault, but what I did was assault. >> Okay, so I'm telling you right now >> Can you tell me that this is not assault? >> Okay, so I know that you like to be in control of everything, but right now you're not going to be in control. Don't put your hand in my face. >> Earlier, the daycare owner warned the cop that the woman just wouldn't stop talking. She was absolutely right and as the conversation began to heat up a bit, it was going to be just a matter of time before something happened. >> Don't put your hand in my face and don't come close Don't come close to me, ma'am, and don't step towards me, okay? So, I'm going to tell you right now you're being charged with an assault. Listen, listen, stop talking before I put you in handcuffs. Stop I'm going to put you in handcuffs if you don't stop talking. So, ma'am, stop talking. So, stop talking. I know you like to be in control, ma'am, but you're not in this one. So, You know, just put your hands behind your back. Don't pull away. Don't pull away. Listen Ma'am, don't pull away. Ma'am, don't pull away. You can record. I have my camera on right now. All right, so please I'm telling you right now I'm going to put you in handcuffs and I don't want to. I don't want to use force on you, but I will. You're not going to do that because you're under arrest. >> Jessica stuck to her delusional thinking and kept repeating to the officer she'd done nothing wrong. Regardless, they arrested the woman and she was placed in the squad car. That being said though, the story still had one more twist. >> Hi Jessica. So, this is what's going on now. All right, I'm going to give you the two citations for the charges, but I'm going to let you go right now. All right, you're not going to jail. I'm going to give you the citation because there's nobody else to care for your children. All right, and I don't want to have them go with CYFD right now. I'd rather them just go with you home. >> Thank you. >> You understand? >> Yes, I will take the citation and I'll pay whatever I need to. >> Okay, no, no, no. You're just going to have to go to court and then we'll go from there, okay? >> I appreciate you letting me keep my children because her birthday's tomorrow. >> Yes, ma'am. >> And even though you don't like I can tell. >> I have no judgment towards you. I'm just doing what the facts say. I don't go on any I don't pick anybody's side. I just go off of what the facts are. >> Okay, but you didn't listen to my side. >> Yes, but yours already was documented with another officer. So, I don't have like my call is this right now. >> I know, but you didn't hear the audio, so you don't know what exactly what happened. >> By that point, she'd been officially arrested, but the officer eventually let her go for the sake of her kids. She was still cited with assault and had to appear in court. On the 25th of February, 2025, a woman and her 5-year-old were involved in a car accident. When the officers got there, the woman was calm and cooperative, but to everyone's surprise, she quickly started revealing incriminating things about herself. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Are you guys okay? Any injuries or anything? You're okay. Can you get your your license, registration, insurance, all that stuff for me? >> to lie to you. I have a I have a suspended license because when I moved to Texas >> Uh-huh. >> it wasn't valid. >> Okay. >> And so, there's no insurance on the car, there's no driver's license. I've been working with um New Mexico to try to get my driver's license since I moved here 2 years ago. And I know I have a warrant out in Colorado for no license driving whatever and I've been trying to take care of all that. >> Okay. >> And so I'm a single mom of three kids. I'm not working. I live off of my child's disability check and so I'm selling food plates trying to make ends meet. >> Mhm. >> I did not >> Okay, that's fine. Let me check on him and I'll come back and we'll figure out what happened in this accident. Okay, that's fine. >> Like I don't have anyone to I don't want my kids >> Let me go check on him and make sure he's okay. >> The officer then had a talk with the other driver. He claimed he was driving down Stern Drive going to pick his daughter up when suddenly he was struck from behind by the suspect's vehicle. The man's car spun around and he nearly hit a tree. >> That's crazy. >> Okay, what happened? You need to tell me what happened. >> I was coming down this way delivering food plates and he was behind me. I mean before we even I was I was multiple times from all the way over there. I drive my street moving here. I have tickets. I have warrants. I know what I have. I have three children that are depending on me because I can't go to jail. >> So I'm confused cuz initially you said that that he was behind you. So at point did he get in front of you? >> Tell me. You think that just happened so quickly to just me to be >> Well, the reason I'm asking you is cuz I wasn't here and you should be paying attention to driving so you should know when he gets in front of you. >> Okay, don't be sarcastic. >> I'm not. I'm just trying to figure out what happened. >> I'm going to tell you. I came down this way. I just dropped off a plate. I'll give you the address of the plate that I just dropped off over here. I came over here. He was in front of me. >> Okay, and then what? >> He was behind me. I felt rushed. I sped up a little bit on the I'm slower than the speed limit because I wanted my husband to share. This is what happened. This is what I saw. This is what didn't happen. This is not what happened because honestly, all as it was happening, I turned and I looked at my daughter. >> The woman's story made no sense at all. First, she was in front of him, then behind him, then there was suddenly a crash, but she wasn't sure how. She also claimed she was driving under the speed limit. But the more the woman talked, the less it made sense. She seemed to be hoping she would only get a ticket. >> I got you, judge. And if that's against the law, then I'll take my ticket for that. Whatever Whatever y'all feel is is Whatever Whatever you guys have to do with me. >> Okay. Just hang tight, okay? I'm trying to figure out what we're going to do, okay? Like I said, you know you have warrants. There's three warrants, one out of Otero or three out of Doña [snorts] Ana County, okay? I'm already calling the Otero County judge to see if I can get you released on your own recognizance because of the kids' situation. It sounds like because of how many warrants you have, he doesn't want He doesn't want to release you on your own recognizance. And that's a judge's order. So, with that being said, if he doesn't give us that If he doesn't allow you to be released on your own recognizance, I have no choice. I have to contact CYFD to take care of the kids. >> You can't call my mom? >> The officer explained to the woman that he was just about to ask her if someone could come and pick the kids up so they could do things as smoothly as possible. She stayed surprisingly calm even though she knew she was about to go to jail. This right here is good, okay? Go ahead and put your hands behind your back for me. I'm going to take off your watch, okay? Cuz they're going to take it off at the jail anyways. >> No, genius. I'm I'm from Texas. >> Uh-huh. >> I'll tell you I'll give you their number. I'll write it down, whatever. >> That's going to go with you. You're going to have that, okay? Yeah. >> please. >> Okay. So, before we get going anywhere else, let me read you something and then I have a couple questions for you, okay? Okay. So, my question for you have you been drinking? Okay. >> Until Honestly, until the accident. >> Not until the accident? So, you got in the crash and started drinking? >> Yeah. We got in the crash. I know I have a warrant. Doesn't make me do whatever. Whatever. You can think what you want to be or not. >> asking you. >> I'm not a bad mom. I'll say what it is. >> The suspect's slurred speech suddenly got much, much worse. She started struggling finishing sentences and it was clear she was heavily drunk. Despite that, she said she'd only been drinking after the accident. >> I was delivering plates. And then when the accident happened, what if I'm going to jail? I'm not going to jail sober. >> Okay. >> I hate to say that. I hate to say that. Now, what you charge me with, okay, I'll take it. I'll take it. >> Be careful. >> I know. I'll take it. >> Okay. So, let's So, >> listen. I will take it because for me I've been a single mom. I'm not trying to milk you, nothing. Please don't take it. Take my emotion. I've been milking you. I don't have no agenda. I'm not going to make you feel sorry for me. I know what I do and I know what I don't do. I moved here with family basis thinking that I would have help blah blah blah. I was sober. >> It might sound funny, but actually she made a pretty good point for her defense. If she only drank after the accident, then she may not have committed DUI. But she eventually came clean and admitted to drinking tequila before ever getting behind the wheel. >> I have not done nothing but drink a boot. >> A boot? >> Boot. >> When was that? >> Probably about an hour and a half ago. >> An hour and a half ago? Where was it? >> My house. >> At your house? A boot of what were you drinking? >> Jose Cuervo. >> Of what? >> Jose Cuervo. >> Jose Cuervo? Okay. Do you normally drink? >> No, not as often. >> Okay. >> I went to rehab. >> Okay. >> I I never lost custody of my children. Never lost custody of my children. >> Okay. About an hour and a half ago you were drinking at your house. You said you drank Jose Cuervo. And then >> That's not what I said. >> Okay. What did you >> what you wanted You took what you wanted to say. Now let me tell you something. I'm not No offense against you. >> No, you're fine. >> But when I got arrested in Alamogordo >> Uh-huh. >> I wasn't even drinking. I did my makeup. I was doing my makeup on my way to go get me a little hot pocket, okay? I was going to an appointment. Now that you all needs to know. >> Once the suspect started rambling and getting wobbly on her feet, they decided to put her in the squad car for her own safety. A little while later, they gave the woman a chance to do some field sobriety tests. >> Keep looking at the tip of my finger. Keep looking over here. You can put your arms back down at your side. Okay. Get back in that position for me. >> I'm going to sink. I can't do >> okay. Just get back in that position for me, okay? So for this test what we're going to be doing is a series of nine heel-to-toe steps down that straight line, okay? Okay, go ahead and begin. >> My mom did not take me to gymnastics now. >> No, you're fine. You're fine. >> raised up there. I was raised in Dallas. Can I >> No, just stay there, okay? >> your hand real quick? >> No, I'm not going to hold your hand. You're under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. The New Mexico Implied Consent Act requires you to submit to a breath test. The New Mexico Implied Consent Act requires you to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content of your blood. After you take our test, you have the right to choose an additional independent test. >> Much to her surprise, they charged the woman with driving on a suspended license, careless driving, driving without insurance, and aggravated DUI. And on top of that, she was also booked for her existing warrants. On December 28th, 2025, in Cape Coral, Florida, the cops performed a routine stop. It started like normal, and the cops were filmed having fun, imitating voices from cartoons. Just moments later, this situation would get a surprising twist. >> All right, go Cartman on her. Respect my authoritah. How dare you poke ass my sergeant like that? Do you know who that is? Do you Do you want to go talk to him? No. I need to talk to her in my Mr. Hankey voice. Ma'am, do you understand how fast you were going? You blew right past my sergeant like he was just there. Did she give you the registration, proof of insurance? >> I did not get uh registration. >> Keep your hands closed and step out of the vehicle. >> Yes, sir. >> Keep your hands closed. >> Got it. >> Come around to the front of my car. Yes. >> I got it. >> Put it on the Put it on the roof. >> I know. I'm not I'm not trying to get my backup. >> She needs to go to the bathroom. >> As the officer was walking on the suspect's passenger side, he saw the driver look in the side mirror and try to conceal something in her hand. She was still holding on to it and the officer demanded she step out and he immediately detained her. >> I'm going to pee. >> Yeah, just stand on the curb. >> I yeah, I got a couple of bucks and maybe a little bit more. >> It's all right. >> I can't believe like on the side of here or something. >> For what reason? >> I have to pee so bad. There's no way. Like I'm going to pee in your car. Like there's no way. I'm serious. >> Okay, come here. Come here. Come here. >> Okay. I'm so [snorts] sorry. I'm not I wasn't trying to be. >> Okay. You can pee over on the side. Just take this. Yeah. I'm going to call you a female to come here to search you. You can search. >> That's fine. There's nothing else on >> What What did you observe? >> Well, I was walking up to Exactly. >> Hold on. Are you Officer McClure? No, shut your mouth. All right. So, I was walking up to the passenger side um >> [snorts] >> window to ask for her vehicle registration. Saw her moving down. I saw her looking in the driver side mirror. She's going like this. I saw her put something in her hand. >> Clearly, one of the cops was in training and was curious to know how a seemingly simple DUI stop had turned into a drug bust. As they chatted away waiting for a female officer, they decided to do a standard pat down. >> Turn around for me. Do you have anything on your person that's going to poke me, stick me, prod me, nothing like that? >> No, that was it. Literally, I promise. >> Turn around, lean up against the car. >> I know how much money's in my wallet, by the way. >> Turn around. Lean up against the >> I don't want to ruin your mic. >> I'm That's >> Well, you see these things? They're called cameras. And see these things are called police officers. Right here, right here. It's me. All right? >> I know about K pro police. >> What do you know about K pro police? >> I have I have dealt with a lot of it. >> Oh, it's corrupt, is that what you're saying? >> I know. >> Cuz I'd be dumb as hell to be stealing money. Look, you're having this problem of over talking and not listening when I'm talking to you. Do you understand that? >> that in your mouth. >> Yeah. >> No, I didn't put it in my mouth. He asked me to put it in my hand and I held it and gave it to him. >> Yeah, you're trying to destroy it. >> Sir, what I know about Okay. >> All right, you have the right to remain silent. >> As the officer read the Miranda rights to her, additional units arrived. The woman stayed cooperative, saying it was a long time since she'd been in trouble, implying she'd been in trouble in the past. >> You can run about your drug. I haven't been in trouble in over 10 years. >> Over here, over here. >> I don't care. I know about the K pro police. >> Over here. Okay? Are you going to listen? I'm right here. I'm not over there. You still have the right to stop answering at any time. You also have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a lawyer. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? >> Yes, sir. Thank you. >> Respect is a two-way street. You give, I give back. Do you understand that? >> Yes, sir. I do. >> Okay. So, with that being said, do you want to talk to us tonight or no? >> I have I I've not I I know what I did. I have that. Okay? >> What is Yes Say yes or no. Do you want to talk to us about that or no? >> All that is is I got that. >> Say yes or no first. Yes or no first. Yes or no first. It's about the >> Sure. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> Thank you, ma'am. All right, so what is that? >> Cocaine. >> Okay. >> And I am >> If you get close to my face one more time, you're going to be on the pavement. Do you understand me? >> Exactly. That's what K pro police do. >> Yeah, I don't want you in my face. >> Sorry, I'll back out. >> Thank you. >> While she was cooperative, like we said, little by little, she was edging her way towards additional charges. As they continued chatting, the cops clearly wanted to find out more about the illegal substances they'd found. >> So, it's cocaine. Where'd you get the cocaine from? >> Somebody. >> Somebody. >> I'm not doing this. >> What do you do for work, ma'am? >> I worked at as a server for 4 years. >> been Have you ever told me yet? >> Yes. >> So, you understand that possession of a narcotic is a felony in the state of Florida. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. And you know who you bought it from, correct? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. You can either play this game where you're going to give him You're going to give him a body. >> I'm not telling you anybody [ __ ] I have a kid and I'm a single mom. It completely changed my life and I made a mistake tonight, okay? >> Your only option >> And everybody's just screaming at me in my face right now. >> Who's screaming at you, ma'am? You're not >> You're playing the good cop. I am definitely going to jail tonight, no matter what happens. Like I'm sorry, what? But it's it's not going to keep you from going to jail tonight, is it? >> No. Did you buy it and pay for it? >> No. >> She tried to justify her drug use, saying she'd work 5 days straight and had just finished two shifts in a row. She said the drugs helped keep her awake and kept her going through long hours, despite her knowing they were dangerous and illegal. >> I'm not a bad person. >> I'm just right now you have cocaine. >> I got [ __ ] up I got [ __ ] up tonight. I'm not a bad person. >> Yes, because my son my son is not My son has been through this, you guys, and I have been threatened and attacked by you people. Because of my son. >> Well, this is my first night meeting you. >> I know it is, but it's because of my son, so I'm not and it wasn't you guys. No. >> Like battery? >> No, absolutely not. >> It was 15 years ago, 14, 15. >> Yeah, it was. >> Yeah, but I've been clean since. And then >> That's your only arrest? >> Yeah. No, no. No. >> Okay, well, what are your other arrests? >> So, I have another arrest for driving >> In the meantime, the sergeant took the opportunity to show his trainee how he'd realize the suspect was hiding something. By the time they'd finished, a female officer had arrived to conduct a thorough search of the suspect. >> I'm walking up to her. She's got >> Passenger side approach, classic in the sense of she's focused on that mirror, won't look back at you. She's doing this number. So, I was just like >> Number one, if you're going to be a blocker >> It's the same bag in the driver's. >> I'm still going to jail. I'm going to say yes to these people cuz these make up the decision. I just >> I just really have to pee and I'm not going to make it. I'm going to pee in the car and it's embarrassing. >> And I It's in the driver's seat. I don't know if she's trying to get rid of anything else. I just >> There's nothing else in my car. >> Check your pockets. Right here. >> Sorry. >> Let me save her saying anything. >> Sorry. >> She'd made some terrible choices and she was eventually arrested and taken to Lee County Jail. They charged the woman with possession of a controlled substance. On the 25th of August, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, the cops got a disturbing call. Reportedly, a female passenger had been aggressive with her son, yelling at him and shaking him, and even putting objects in the child's mouth. >> When I came in, she was already passed out. He was sleeping with his thumb in his mouth, like credit card, his her ID, everything in his mouth. So, I tried first to wake her up just to see what's going on. No response. So, I took the things out of the kid's mouth, obviously, and see if he was okay. He woke up. >> No response as in what? Is she she good? Is she awake? Does she need medical >> He hasn't wake up. He got He said in here I think. >> Okay. >> So she He was she He was kind of sleeping we got >> He is mine. >> He is mine. >> Excuse me. Ma'am. Hello. >> Order. >> My mom is sleeping and nibbling now. >> Is she nice? Excuse me. You got to wake up. Wake up. Do you need medical attention? >> No. I want to use the bathroom. >> Where are you flying to? >> Flying to Rhode Island. >> Rhode Island? >> After successfully waking up the young mother, the officer started asking her about her flight and their destination. Based on her answers and her slurred speech, she appeared to be heavily intoxicated. >> How long you been here? >> A flight probably an hour and a half. >> Hm? >> A flight probably exactly. >> You been drinking today? Do you have your plane >> I don't have my flight ticket but I have my flight boarding passes. >> Okay, that's fine. >> Why are you showing that Where are you showing him that? >> He helped me out. >> Is it okay if I talk to him really quick? >> How far are you going to take my baby? >> No, I'm just going to go right there and just speak to him really quick. >> Yeah, of course. >> You mind talking to him really quick? >> How old are you, Bubba? >> Uh >> Five? I'm a Julian. >> Huh? Uh >> Here. Shh. I just want to talk to you really quick. Is that okay? Do you I just want to ask you >> I want to probably get out of here. I don't want to be sitting around waiting and not on a flight. Nope. Not on a flight. >> What happened? >> Baby, he's a good man. Give him a high five. You did a good job. Hey. >> As the officers interviewed the woman, a man approached and confirmed to the officers that he'd seen the child sleeping with cards in his mouth. Some other passengers claimed she'd stuffed chicken nuggets into his face and mouth. At that point, she was asked by the officer to explain what had happened. >> Someone said that they saw you shoving things in his mouth. Okay? >> He's my kid. Ice cream, chicken. You do that, he does that on his own time. I don't care what anybody say. Ask them for a proof. I want pictures, a photograph. What I'm his whole mother with his birth certificate. >> Okay. So, why why did these people >> Why did these people say that? Maybe because they're >> You're not letting me talk. >> They're not letting me talk. I'm not going to come talk to somebody who don't want to hear what I have to say. My son, I'm not going to force him to show >> Calm down. >> Pull down his throat. So, if you guys want to take me, take me now. I don't force my baby to do nothing he doesn't want to do. >> How many times do I have to say >> Jerald. >> Hey. >> Jerald. WHAT DID THEY DO? DID I SHOVE food down your throat? Exactly. >> Stop. >> I never shoved food down MY SON'S THROAT, BUT YOU WANT TO GET HOSTILE. And so, I GET HOSTILE YOU BACK CUZ I HAVE A WHOLE 5-YEAR-OLD. NO, I DID NOT DID I SHOVE FOOD DOWN YOUR THROAT? Do you want to get All right. >> Even though the woman, Lashona, claimed she hadn't abused her child, she got quite irritated when asked about it. And to make things worse, when she talked to her child in front of the cops, she ended up yelling at him for no reason. >> Behave enough for yourself and tell these PEOPLE WHAT'S GOING ON CUZ THEY'RE TRYING TO MAKE MOMMY A bad person and get me taken away from you, and I don't want that to >> That is uh if you if you continue >> trying to be a bad mom. Yeah, I am, DARLING. IF I'M DONE TALKING TO MY SON, UNLESS YOU COMING WITH ME, I'M NOT DONE. I will fight until I have to fight back. If my son come over here, he's going to be spitting in front of a whole 1/4 of people. >> It's not neglect because she said he's he's he's not really saying anything against her. He told me he knew the difference between a truth and a lie. You know, there's nothing that we can really do. >> We're going to have to let him go and just document everything. >> I know. >> Um What was the hotel they were talking about? Did they book that already or is that just an idea? They booked for a hotel? >> As they were flying that night, the employees booked a hotel room for them and they paid for it from their own pockets. They also gave them meal vouchers for two meals each. At that point, all she had to do was stay humble and respect authority. >> Bravo. >> All right, ma'am. Good news is, you know, you guys are going to be able to continue your travels and >> Thank you, sir. I did not want to hear nothing else. >> Okay, so we're giving you a hotel >> Oh. >> Okay. So, we're giving you a hotel room, so they're going to take you down to the shuttle so you can get a shuttle to the hotel. It's already paid for, you don't have to pay, okay? We're also giving you meal vouchers, so buy something now for you and the baby and then you're also going to have a meal voucher for tomorrow. When you come back, you can get something for breakfast or for lunch, okay? >> I appreciate it. >> So, you don't have to pay for anything. This is all to help you out, okay? So, now they're going to take you downstairs so you can get a shuttle to the hotel. >> Thank you. >> Okay. Now, when you get to the hotel, I need you to just, you know, get some rest, sleep. >> Gerald, come over here before they kill you and shoot you down for stepping over the gate. No, cuz I don't even like that. Before they can shoot you down for just stepping over the gate. >> Nobody's going to do nothing like that. Relax. >> They will kill you. >> Relax, nothing's going to happen to you. >> She was brainwashing her child already that cops are bad people and through the entire shuttle ride, she was acting really bizarre. The staff eventually realized that due to how unruly she was, she was not going to be accepted at the hotel. They instead decided to provide accommodation at the airport. >> I think they're going to keep the baby here. >> For for what? >> For the um for the night. >> We have a little cot. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, yeah. >> Well, we have to ask her if that's okay. You have a bed and stuff like that? >> We have a little cot. >> Where's our shuttle? So, what the >> just telling me now >> What we can do is we can maybe maybe you want to stay with us. We have a little area that you can stay with the baby and I. >> just dropped me off to the airport to pick me the [ __ ] back up, not for me to go sit out a shuttle for a [ __ ] hour. I want to go home by 12:00. >> But you know, that way you can stay with us. Maybe for a little longer, okay? Can you calm down, you think? >> Do you guys have a bar down here? I need a >> No. >> Okay, the fact is that they're trying to help you out so you can get on the plane earlier. >> Because if you have to go to a hotel, you have to get on a shuttle back to the Listen to me. If you go to a hotel, you have to get back on a shuttle, you have to get all your belongings, you have to come back to the airport, whereas if you stay with them, they have beds, they have food. >> Instead of taking advantage of the staff's goodwill, sleeping it off, and going on with the trip tomorrow, she then started freaking out about wanting to go home. They tried to reason with the woman because nobody wanted to arrest a homeless woman with a child. >> I LIVE IN PROVIDENCE. YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW ABOUT PROVIDENCE. I worked there, bro. I took off for four nights. I was supposed to be home by full night. I'm going to go home tomorrow. I have no place TO STAY, NOT ON THE STREET, BRO. My plane said it left AND THEN ARRIVED BY THE TIME IT SAID IT WAS going to do all that. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know what I'm saying? >> Yes, do you understand? >> No. >> We're trying to help you, but I need you to just try to calm down. >> I never gave a [ __ ] about none of yous. I care about my kid and getting him safe to the [ __ ] emergency, bro. >> Okay, ma'am, the way you're acting is not >> bro. Yes, I will cuz I'm a worried mother. Look at my son's skin. GET NAKED. YOU WANT TO SEE [ __ ] all red and bumps at the bottom? Do you WANT TO SEE MY SON'S HE'S 5 YEARS OLD, BRO. I'M DEALING WITH THAT. >> THE WOMAN AND HER son were taken to the office and the officers and staff continued trying to reason with her. It was eventually clear that it wouldn't be possible, so they did what they had to do. >> If you think you could do some of your sweet talking to separate the kid while we go hands-on with her? >> Yes. >> I'm telling you. >> You need to be >> I'm telling you. >> I'm the airport >> I'm telling you. I'm telling you. My son has no allergic pain. >> Okay. >> THEN BRING MY SON BACK. >> NO. >> YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO DO ALL THAT. >> You don't even have to do all that. I need to do too much for no reason. >> Bring me my son. >> No. >> Or I'm going to jail. >> No. You'll be in this chair right now. >> Okay. >> Okay. I'll be the chair. I don't care. >> Stop. >> WHERE'S MY KID? >> I DON'T GIVE A >> You're not taking away from me from my kid. >> Huh? >> So what? >> Stop. Stop. We're going to the ground. Stop. >> I want my assistant. I WANT MY KID. I WANT MY ASSISTANT. >> I want my kid. >> I WANT MY KID. >> I WANT MY ASSISTANT. >> I WANT MY KID. >> Stay down. >> Why can't I get my kid? Why can't I get my kid? >> They arrested the woman and she was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Thanks for watching another episode of The Hidden Files.
