bro on June 21st 2022 police responded to a call about a domestic dispute between a man and a woman when officers arrived the peer was engaged in a heated argument it's one thing when adults are fighting but when kids are involved breaking up the dispute quickly becomes top priority hello can you get your parents or too busy yelling at each other y coming in come no you did not no you did not with the officers standing right inside their living room the couple continued shouting at one another ignoring their crying child while the cops attempted to deescalate things the couple just didn't want to hear it eventually they calm the male suspect down enough to question the man so what's what what's going on she mad she went to work last night she got four kids one man this woman man she days days last days she ain't been doing just been sleeping on the couch like she always do yesterday f is you talking about when you're here you I'm not the aggressive one she is no you just want to act like that you already told about your tricks what these she hurt I don't with all that shouting we're not precisely sure what the couple was fighting about but it sounds like it involves money raising the children and another woman over the constant shouting the cops attempted to discuss how to handle things while these two continue to fight oh this morning I bought I grabb $20 worth a change up out of here worth quarters this $10 a gallon of milk for my son ain't had no milk in two days but but she been walk to the store by backwards you about to the store the other night about back but you Ain no tissue or no milk got go to 7 you want to go do anything no you Ste want to argue about what I did this my CRI just get out that's watch all for 15 minutes me 15 me that's on you conflict upon being arrested the woman seemed Cooperative but also asked to gather some personal belongings before leaving she got the bye it don't matter bye talking about and when I come get your warrant for missing a court dat just got escalated to resisting arrest while she might have been looking for a happy ending after calling the cops to arrest her partner she's actually the one heading off to the jail housee yeah well now you getting resisting too oh my God bro yall just make it harder for me bro I called y'all for him y'all up over here doing I I'll stand you up in a second hang on good idea still at least she eventually calmed down and took responsibility for her actions which is more than we can say for our next suspect on the 9th of January 2022 police responded to a call from a woman claiming her husband had pinned her against a wall and choked her by the time the officer arrived things had slightly calmed down but the officer had to decipher a classic case of he said she said what the hell going on man my wife went crazy your wife go crazy hands on yeah put my hands are you serious yeah I'm serious you don't I got you off of me you just me all right all right all only time he put his hands on her was to restrain the woman following procedure the officer assessed the woman for signs of injury to her neck you got my a minute ago lift your head up lift your head up I need to see you see your arms anyone of y'all got somewhere to go for tonight no this is my house I'm on the leas this is my leas we're married though it don't matter you've been gone we're officer and disturbing the peace maybe next time she'll think twice before trying an officer's patience on September 4th 2022 police responded to a domestic dispute call at a fire station according to the woman after a heated argument with her husband she drove to the fire St to escape the Abus of man when police arrived she was fighting back tears as she recalled the abuse she suffered officer John Police Department me you want to tell me what's going on um I was little I was a little nervous mhm um you want to you want we can step outside if you rather do that want to step outside know what the answer is oh good we brought more people excellent um um yeah you want to step outside with me sure Outside the Fire Station the woman told the officer that her memory of the events was foggy she painted her husband as the aggressor while she apparently did everything in her power to C the situation but as she continued telling her side of the story it was clear that things just weren't adding up he didn't hit you at all strike you anything like that no verbally yeah um I I told him I was going to call the police cuz I didn't I was scared you to do that whatever blah blah and it was like I don't know what the words are and it just he he just kept talking like what started the argument good question I thought he was concerned about somebody being jealous but he said he wasn't he would tell you it was different I don't know I don't really have anything good to say and I tried to record it and I just wonder if my phone has any of it like because he literally oh SM okay there was a video of the argument on the woman's phone but it clearly did not match her story at the same time the cops were noticing a strong odor of alcohol on the woman's breath she admitted that while her husband didn't hit her he had growled at her prompting the officers to Informer that growling is not a crime I'm not trying to set you up for this question but if he didn't do anything that was illegal how would you get him in trouble I don't have they answer I mean growling isn't right so you're saying growling is not illegal but I don't know what it is and I'm I'm not trying to like well putting his hands on you is illegal and you said he didn't so I'm not trying to say one thing or another I'm not really sure what's do and I'm not trying to get him into trouble right um well what happened tonight and understand you B off Parson's Rogue it ran the tag of the car and so register your husband we live there okay and what happened I don't know if I say anything now you told me that you don't have anything like I don't right if he didn't put his hands on you yeah he didn't okay then sounds like it's just a verbal dispute at this time and we can just document it for you if that's what you want and then go out our way yeah yeah are you okay don't know what to do they politely asked the woman what she was doing at the fire station at 1:00 a.m. according to to her telling the dispute had occurred at home but she left the property and drove to the fire station to escape her husband's temper unbeknownst to the woman while they sat there chatting one of the officers was watching a video on the woman's phone that told a very different story where do you guys need cats from I've got my rag dolls from uh breeder back in 2008 and and I uh our um middleaged K we found on the street in front of our house on Valentine's Day in 2014 on our way to a restaurant it was it's like the most amazing story we were on our way to um jery River and he just like ran across the street in the middle of the road in the snow on Valentine's Day and I was like oh my God stop so we stopped and I scooped him up and he literally like crawled up onto my neck which is the most random thing ever and my husband's like what the hell do you expect to happen now like what are we doing so we just turned around went back home I was like well you have a cop star we'll give him a cop star we'll put in bedroom leave him and a cop are give him his own bedroom and left him and then went to the video clearly showed the woman coming toward the man and swinging at her husband repeatedly while he defensively pushed her back next the officers explained that they now wanted to speak to her husband to get his side of the story but when the cops asked for his phone number the woman's tone suddenly changed you know his phone number I could give him a call maybe I do know his phone number okay you want to tell me that if I didn't could I just go away so whether or not you tell me his phone number doesn't change whether or not you're going to leave right now so that that doesn't have an a bear a bearing one I obviously not going to here willingly yeah and now I'm stuck here for right now yeah that feels wrong okay do you understand why that feels wrong I can understand how you might see that wrong yeah I could understand how you might see it that way okay can you help me to determine why that's not the case so from what I've been told there there's some other information that's not necessarily saying that you're necessarily a victim right now okay okay some information that that's leading more the other way that somebody else might be a victim right now in addition to the fact that you drove up here and you've been drinking that's plainly obvious so you're without a doubt not getting behind the wheel of the car right now okay the cops explained that they'd been to her house but there was no one there to answer the door concerned they asked for the man's number again before informing her that they'd seen the video evidence on her own phone and made it clear to the woman that it was time for her to come clean whatever video you showed showed you as what appeared to be the primary aggressor in in a physical dispute and we're trying to go and check on him and make sure he's not God need that inside there Jesus no so that's where we're at right now okay well so that that's why we're still sitting here because we're not just going to walk away on the possibility after just seeing that that there's a chance that y'all have or that y'all have been involved in a physical domestic dispute and we're not just going to walk away and then find out tomorrow did the guy inside of there or something right that' be irresponsible me wouldn't it oh my dear God okay so that's where we're at right now trying get this the most insane thing how is this always the case I swear to God last time hit me and I'm the one who got in trouble like I've never met you before I know that I understand that but this is kicking me off like are you appar our suspect doesn't understand how the law works just because you report a situation in a particular light does not make it true and just because you called police first does not make it right the truth of course matters and the cops are responsible for getting to the bottom of things and identifying who the real aggressor is so I I explained it to you already right very clearly no I would not say so I would you came here because of domestic you you ask me to watch okay you ask me to watch the video the video I've seen when you placing your hands on your husband and him trying to push you away and then you came back at him placed your hands on your husband again and he tried to push you away that's the video that I seen I didn't see anything of him being aggressive or anything like that I saw it from your side so what we're trying to do now is get in contact with him to see his side of the story that's where we're at right now so if you want to call him and contact him and have him answer it we can do that or you can give my officer here the number and he can contact him so that's where we're at until any thing like that's resolved no you're not free to leave or go anywhere right now you drove here while you were had been intoxicated you haven't proven you you have no idea that I was the vehicle did come here some some way and you have been drinking okay you have been drinking what part of that i' I've not been any part of that now the woman said the whole thing was a big mistake admitting that she wish she never called police in the first place but the officers here weren't buying it they knew she was just upset because she got caught after the officers explained the severity of her actions she still didn't seem to understand how much trouble she was in I should have never said anything well this is where we are that doesn't change that's that's fine so you can say that you should have shouldn't have said anything but that doesn't put toothpaste back in the tube like done great I can walk on from here not right now you're not why is that because right now you are a suspect right now and you're not going anywhere why is that in a domestic you're not going anywhere I haven't done anything based off the video that we've seen you're not going anywhere you are detained right now you are not free to leave so we're trying to make sure that the person that we've seen that according to that video is the victim right now is still alive and go from there so that's where we're at like I told you several times just trying to contact him and make sure he's still okay that's all as she was too intoxicated to drive she eventually agreed to go with the officers to her house where they could then perform a welfare check on her husband and get his side of the story once again she changed her story in a last ditch attempt to get the officers off her back like literally there's nothing to see I was just being a and I wanted him to pay for yelling at me and literally nothing happened now I'm sitting here for like 3 hours he's wasted passed out upstairs there's literally nothing going on and I am like have a migraine so that's helpful and I'm um like on the verge of throwing up from the migraine situation refusing to take her word for it the cops insisted on speaking to the woman's husband Jeff she led the officers inside and up to the bedroom where they woke the man and questioned him it's confusing enough to wake up in the in the middle of the night with a bunch of cops in your bedroom but it's even more offputting when you're trying to sleep off a hangover it's okay it's okay it's okay they're com to make sure you're alive I know I know I went to the police because I was pissed off trying to get in trouble now they're here to make sure you were alive we couldn't get you to answer a phone we couldn't get you to answer a door a video of yall fighting we're trying to make sure you're okay I'm sorry yeah I know I'm sorry I'm sorry I know I know I know I'm the only reason we're in your your bedroom right now is she came to the fire station saying y'all had a fight and in the video she showed us wasn't you beating on her it was the exact opposite and so then that set us on the course of trying to make sure that she didn't beat the crap out of you stab you shoot you something like that cuz all we had seen was that y'all had been in a fight and now we couldn't get a hold of you Jeffy explained to the officers that he was just fine however it still didn't excuse his wife's abusive Behavior towards him even if Jeff didn't want to press charges the cops have the power to press charges in these types of situations as it's common for domestic abuse victims to keep quiet I'm good so okay yeah y go home thanks okay all fine all right glad be okay jeez all right you know what you need to do then M we watch the video on your phone assaulted him man' this officer said that like the man that was in the bed you understand okay well what I need to do is turn up your hand on your back this is crazy all right so right now I'm placing you under for domestic violence oh my God this is crazy oh my God this is following the arrest the woman was charged with simple battery maybe next time she'll think twice before lying to the cops and playing the victim at the expense of others while the suspect shed tears in the end at least she didn't act like a spoiled child like our next suspect on October 2nd 2022 police responded to a residence regarding a domestic dispute between an ex-husband and wife after finally having enough of the woman's abusive Behavior towards him the man called the police even though these two were divorced they'd still been living together how's it going man it's going could you tell me what's going on U let me give you a short version of the long this is my ex-wife okay we were married over 30 years ago okay we have two kids together right uh we got the bo I've been married three times okay so like I said this is my first wife all right uh she gone through cancer and stuff and so I was in the process of buying her home so I figur I'd buy a home here and move her in soal she she could be SLE about 2 months after we moved in she started these ran and raving all the kind of stuff about third stuff happened 30 years ago okay so now at that point I cut off I said I'm not going to support you I'm done right because you want to belittle me about something that happened 30 years ago the man explained that ever since his ex moved in she'd been acting abusive towards him to back up his story he played audio clips of his ex-wife making threats and calling the man names you know things are bad here because he had to record conversations with her as evidence for hours she ran and Rave about crap okay what's she saying is she making any threats towards you yes she is making threats okay you know what like be specific in those threats what what is she saying you don't care about no human being you didn't take care of godamn two children you never a husband you never a father [Music] [Music] I've been sitting out here she'll come out do this Rand raving go back inside come back out at one point she grabbed a knife threaten me with the knife okay she said I'll you I'll cut you up I'll do all these things is recording say again is that in the recording yes okay the officer asked the man if her threats caused him to fear for his life he explained that he knew firsthand that his ex-wife was capable of violence stating for example that she'd shot him in the past I mean you can't help but wonder if maybe that's the reason these two divorced in the first place so you you you believe that she would act you said she got an opportunity and think she could get away with it yeah okay okay okay so you felt like she would have gone through with cutting you and causing you harm yes idea where the threat you said it's in the audio do you have that where we can hear it this goes on for hours well the main thing I'm looking for is that that threat I need I need some corroboration for the threat the officers listened to countless recorded insults as the man searched through his phone for the death threats eventually the cops finally heard what they were looking for I couldn't hear he was on the radio did you hear what with your I can't you I hate you and so while she's saying that did anything ever get physical did she ever touch you no did you ever touch her no so she's standing in the doorway with a knife with a knife all right she still have that knife yeah she have access to any of guns no no okay uh I have a gun safe that she don't know the code too no I have a key to it okay key right no other key no other key okay with evidence of death threats confirmed the cops were about to go in the house to inform the ex-wife that she was now under arrest but just before they did they encountered the woman at the garage door with her abusive behavior on full display can you come out and talk to us yes ma'am come talk to us get off phone come talk to us we'll go in and talk to you all right no no no no all right ma'am you're not going to talk to us no all right okay talk to you okay can you stand up please no I'm not standing up we just want to man we want to talk to you I'm not standing up okay I got counsel and you put your hands on me put your hands off okay well here's the thing I you're you're under arrest after informing the woman that she was under arrest she became extremely uncooperative denying that she' done anything wrong and resisting arrest unfortunately for her she definitely done something wrong and the cops had the evidence to prove it whether she liked it or not she was going with the officers one way or another I have done nothing what are you you're going to jail turn around what are you let me call my bro let me call my bro no you're going to jail I'm not going no jail let me c my brother you're just going to catch another oh are you done ma'am oh she continued screaming all the way to the squad car while you might expect this behavior from a child it's pathetic to see it from a grown adult especially from one who has a habit of talking tough when the cops aren't around I do not want to have continually denied doing anything wrong on their drive down to the jail house making a mistake okay I didn't do anything what y'all joh a r Me My Rights you ain't done you ain't said nothing to me to talk to me you don't tell nobody to step out no door for what we're walking right over to this door that time you talk to like you got a voice and like you get like you know how to talk to people rather than snatch it them around the woman was charged with simple assault Family Violence terroristic threats and obstruction of a law enforcement officer but at least she was smart enough not to attack her partner in front of witnesses which is more than we can say for our next suspect on November 6th 2023 the cops were called after a woman got into a verbal dispute with her ex-boyfriend while getting ready to move to a new home her ex-boyfriend tossed her belongings out of a U-Haul truck that was rented in his name in response the woman attacked him on my name yes I I did get the U-Haul on his name yes my name so I said get she get so yeah I said go get your mom got a truck your mom got a truck go get the truck and load it up she didn't want to do it I start throwing this it's my truck it's my truck no I'm taking off my property they got a truck go get it you ain't one you ain't one of my she ain't one of go get it I all right bet I'll take it off you think you just just drive off with the truck in my name she could this truck up and me up you feel me the man's argument was pretty simple the U-Haul truck was rented out in his name therefore he had the right to determine how the truck would be used according to him he told his ex to get her belongings out and when she refused to listen he did so himself however the cops were interested in the man for another reason what is this a the the person in my car I ain't going you got in your car yeah right there the black car who is it Che it off there I got a yeah I got a w to drive your car off I want I just want to make sure this U-Haul not get to back this is my U-Haul the U all right can you tell while the man had every right to remove her belongings from the truck he did have an active warrant and was arrested you'd think that if you had a warrant out for your arrest you do everything in your power to avoid attracting the attention of law enforcement but apparently stopping his ex from using his U-Haul was more important to him violent offender I ain't never not one time told me anything about violent hey do you stay at your mom's house down in Block no is that is that you no that's my dad the warrant he got no what's your what's your my dad Street that's why I'm telling you you talking about my dad I'm 92 I'm born 92 yeah it's it's you man it's me yeah but I ain't never violent no but the man's warrant status not only that but a witness stepped in identifying the man's and her mother as being the abusive culprits throughout the U-Haul dispute as a result the man told officers that he wanted to press charges against his ex I'm not lying about that they was out here Bea we're not saying you are man just because they oh yeah you a big big if R revers I'd have been it would y have to search to see if I had war or not I would have been in jail because if I touch her you feel me yeah that's not that's not how it's going man we're not calling you a liar if you serly trying to push charges mhm told hit me yesterday and and that officer handled that yesterday that wasn't the booo okay but no one I that but nothing happened when he me but I think you trying to stop him from taking my stuff and I'm just doing this like you know I'm doing this like just grabbing my stuff and he's literally dragging me with it the woman explained her side of the story but as there were multiple witnesses to back up the man's claims it wasn't enough she was claiming that her ex destroyed her property but the cops informed her that unless she could prove it the man wouldn't be held accountable as the argument continued EMS arrived on scene to assess the man's injuries I did not touch him though under M battery okay how I didn't touch him Miranda what proof I'm G read Miranda are you feeling better okay so your head just you just have a headache she she smacked the right here all right so we're going to come around you but in all seriousness as funny as it is we we actually are professionals that do try to help people you know what I'm saying all right it just I just felt a little better see hey you're still going to jail man going to jail seen as long she go to jail I'm fine the woman was charged with domestic battery and just to think all of this could have been avoided if she'd simply called police instead of taking matters into her own hands literally but a couple of slaps upside the head or nothing compared to the shocking level of violence our next suspect showed towards her ex on June 22nd 2023 police responded to a call at an apartment complex in chambley Georgia reports indicated a heated fight between a man and a woman when officers arrived on scene they were greeted by a woman who claimed she showed up to witness the aftermath upon entering the residence they were shocked to find the apartment in complete disarray who you live with I live with my mom I just came over here to see what was going on your mom live with who my mom live in Riverdale who's inside nobody's inside I just came to see what was going on over here that's a lie straight up who's inside nobody's inside I [Applause] swear nobody's inside stay right here Telly police uh sh me police hey there was that mail in that parking garage I'mma she probably hurt herself in the process of destroying this property the woman played dumb stating she had no idea what had occurred inside she did acknowledge that the apartment owner was the father of her child Christian however once officers noticed a trail of blood droplets on the hallway floor as well as blood stains on the woman's clothing their suspicions grew who blood I'm not sure I I came over here and this was this but it's on your back yeah I know so it's blood dripping which you don't know what's going on but it's on your back yeah and it's on our hands as well so what the blood come on your hand what did you touch I touch um it's something I touch some glass in there and then slic my hand on like that that was yeah let let's see if we can get property manager information to identify who in that unit so we can figure out what's going on upon further questioning the woman said her name was on the lease but claimed she didn't live there she claimed that while she was away an altercation occurred between Christian and two other women and she just arrived to find the man bleeding officers questioned one of Christian's friends who witnessed the altercation and was still waiting in the parking garage downstairs did you hear anything recently go go down or I know you've been sing out her for a minute yeah um my friend and then got the arguing but who what's your friend's name Christian so where's where's Christian at right now I honestly don't know cuz you know there's blood all over that hallway yeah I don't know like I honestly don't know like I called him they answer his girl well his baby mama didn't pulled off it was baby mama drama they M pulled off I'm like I ain't got were they in the room together were they in the apartment together at one point I mean or did she just pull up to a vacant who lives here my boy Hut my boy Christian Christian okay but go when she pulled up well was with two girls so when when they pulled up I just walked out the room with the two girls I but the two girls left their shoes and their purse so I had to go in when I went in I did see them chasing each other so both of y'all live here I don't live here or you just stay here from time to time no I just was here with my boy hush because we just from and drink the cops pressured the man to get a hold of Christian and get him to return to the scene with blood splattered everywhere there was a very real concern the Christian might be in need of medical attention with the man claiming that he witnessed the female suspect chasing Christian around the apartment she was confronted once again by police you're going to be H honest with me okay mhm what happened okay so I can't well he I don't want you to lie okay um he called me on the phone who's he oh Christian he called me phone my baby father he called me on the phone he was like it was some argument going on over here so I came over over here and that was already like that he was walking out that's why I was all this Blood TR my hand is bleeding cuz I picked up you say he called cuz of what cuz there was some argument going on over here and I pulled up it was two girls walking out I don't know who they was don't know what they had on for real but it was two girls walking out as I was walking in he was walking walking out from the apartment or you know the two girls no I don't you came here two girls pulled out they went towards the garage when you came inside the hallway was he walking out as well behind them or he was still in the apartment he was still in an apartment so did you go to the apartment me yeah yeah I went I would just so you went inside the apartment and you saw him saw Christian inside mhm what was he doing nothing he was just standing there how did he look um in distruct he look what in distru in destruct in distress yeah I guess you could say that after further questioning the woman her story remained unchanged she reiterated that she was only present because chrisan called her after his involvement in a heated argument but back in the parking garage Christian's friend was telling an entirely different story how this turn into a stabbing stabing over two girls ridiculous kind of add up just ch chilling how' she enter the apartment I she entered she just went inside or was it log chilling next it went from she went in she came it happened too fast like she came in she said oh y'all having fun she went to the TV I ain't going live shei the TV down that's probably the most I seen her do that and her chase him around I did see chase him around inside the apartment yes this is wildo what happened bro you got real look we chilling I swear to god let's sit down over here start from the beginning the door open in my house right like this this my my boy his cousin in the house my the house right so I'm going to phone my cousin telling my my girl like how like me like I really like I got caught up with a female she pulled out of nowhere who Baby M myab she pull out nowhere came she they there sitting on the couch she threw the TV down after that started going crazy thr my clothes across the balcony I'm like what you just leave bro just leave so I'm I'm running for my life she got the knife in her hand accidentally stabb me D she said what she stab me like like she had a knife in her hand he trying to get his stuff like tell her to leave like she's coming in back and forth I'm running around the thing she's like she stabbed me boom how many times like once and it caught me like right here bed I'm calling I'm calling my whole thing like bloody Christian said that after fleeing the scene his ex went back to his apartment and continued destroying it next the officers questioned the two female Witnesses and their version of the story matched up with Christians she said oh y'all having fun and she just went up to to the TV start yanking the TV off the wall and then uh as soon as we saw her doing that we ran out we ran to our car and we sat in the car to make sure he was okay okay and um we stayed and like she literally had a butcher knife literally I never seen anything like that before but she literally had a butcher knife chasing him you know where it happened though like we were already he was just leaking oh so he just came back up to you so did you guys see see did you her running with a knife you saw her running with the life up and down like up and down that hall right she came actually cuz they was you came out to the car and was like she just stabed me he was bleeding I gave him some napkin out my car after I gave him napkin we all was just sitting right here and I was like you good I just want to make sure he was good before I pulled off and literally she came out she's about to F my car and everything started chasing around the parking lot we just stayed there and she came out one more time was okay before we pull it off okay and then I was Lally leaving and then he was like can he take me to the hospital with the corroborating statements police confronted the woman and placed her under arrest after reading the woman Her Miranda rights the woman agreed to answer questions although the officers gave her one last chance to come clean she refused to admit that she attacked him with a knife offering a ludicrous explanation so I'm going ask you one more time you want to help yourself out that's good if not it's up to you how did he get hert the glass got slam to his face that's why his face is bleeding okay and his elbow I think um when I was opening the drawer up the knife hit him in his elbow you opening the drawer up and what the knife hit him in his elbow when I was when I was yanking the drawer out yeah the knife came out hit him in the elbow that's where all the blood and hway is coming from it was a kitchen knife oh yeah how big was the kitchen knife I think it was a butter knife butter knife yeah say where's it at um not sure that where you going to go with that's what happened okay she was later charged with criminal damage to property in the second degree and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on June 22nd 2022 police responded to a call from a hospital after a security guard witnessed a woman repeatedly slapping her husband in front of their one-year-old baby before confronting the suspect the cops spoke to the security guard who witnessed the ordeal hello how are you good are do so we're kind of in a pickle here okay technically I can't show you the video without a cord order I'll let you see it so let's let's not do that I appreciate you being up front about the whole cord order thing let's not get anybody in trouble as far as showing me the video what I will do is I'll go in there and I will speak to them uh you said that you witnessed her hitting him correct oh yeah she hit him a minimum of five times okay open hand close hand what are we talking open hand cool first time she walked by it was a straight open hand to the side of the face M the next time she walked up and it was four or five both hands okay the officer explained that he didn't need to see the video evidence yet as the security guard's witness testimony was enough for the time being their primary concern was the baby's safety but the nurse on duty and the security guard confirmed that the baby wasn't harmed next the officer had more questions about the altercation how has her demeanor and behavior been other than hitting him and did he react and hit her in yeah she came in just with the baby and then he showed up maybe 30 minutes after they've been here for almost 4 hours okay um so after they got into the room then 30 40 minutes he came in but whenever I was in there with the baby initially getting her swabs and stuff done mom was very appropriate calm smiling and conversation with me um very helpful with swabbing the baby the only action I had since then was going in to recheck the little girl's temperature okay and things seemed very tense between the two of them okay that was after we knew all of or saw all of the hittings so you've also viewed the footage yeah okay cool my nurse who was out so we have cameras like this out where we set and she saw it and she like slapped me on the arm and was like oh my God and so I came back here to watch it the officer then had more questions about the video evidence after Gathering statements and confirming he'd be able to get a copy of the video tape the officer obtained the suspect's ID from the nurse and then confronted the couple hello he hey I'm Officer cou Clark County um can I speak with you man here please how are you doing good how are you good are you Taylor yes oh you such a cute baby so we got a called that because people were concerned the camera feed from the room shows you hitting your husband four or five times in the head is that husband divor okay so husband ex-husband is okay shows you hitting him in the head five times um with an open hand what's going on in there um well a lot um we're going through divorce um he is talking to other girls um a lot what caused you to take CH tonight just I just saw the girl was calling on okay you just saw something on his phone you got upset about it all right the woman explained that they were going through a rough separation while that might be true there's never an excuse for violence especially in the presence of a child after getting the woman side of the story the officers left her to question the male victim Cody what's going on man we got a phone call that's pretty concerning about her her hitting on you in here she she saw some some some other girl on your phone she got upset about it is this the first time that that she's she's done something like that is this a reoccurring thing we're going through a divorce I got you that's what she told me the officer went on to explain that whether or not Cody wished to press charges his wife would be charged by the state of Georgia regardless although it may seem like a minor offense to some law enforcement takes abuse like this very seriously especially considering that many victims suffer in silence here's why all right the state of Georgia went ahead and put this into effect several several years ago that if we have a family violence relationship and we have evidence of things getting physical of a crime then we make that arrest because say it was first so you're in here hitting on her she says I don't want to press charges I don't to press charges worst case scenario y'all go home things get worse and it could be that way with you as well if she keep seeing things on your phone like that things could we don't live together I understand that but due to the fact that y'all technically right now are married you know you're going to the divorce you do have a child together those two right there and you've lived together I mean that's three Family Violence that's three three Family Violence relationships right there off the bat when can she get out and she's going to go with me uh tonight and then first thing in the morning she's going to either sit in front of a judge or teleconference a judge okay they're going to talk about the fact that you'll have a kid together they're going to talk about not putting hands on each other I mean I know this might sound Elementary but these are things that that they are going to sit down and talk to to her about after explaining the finer points of Georgia La including what the process would look like for Cody and his family the officer then told the female that she was under arrest they did allow her to gather her belongings before they asked escorted her out of the hospital without handcuffs we'll just go ahead and head outside um you're being cooperative I'm not going to put your handcuffs in here sorry but I'll explain more as to why this has to happen when we get outside okay okay it's been her birthday is that's what he was telling me um it's been up a rough here if you'll just go and put your hands behind your back Palms together I'm going to make sure it doesn't hurt so we'll turn you this way there you go sorry okay like I said this isn't the end of the world it's not going to it's not going to mess up anything with your children yeah you have to stay till the morning cuz you have to see a judge first okay that being family violent stuff you got to see a judge I promise you'll be fine do you have any questions quick to make sure you don't have any weapons or bombs in there but I'm not going to get invasive or anything okay all right the suspect was charged with simple battery Family Violence and third degree cruelty to children no matter how big or small the argument is please remember that physical violence is never the answer these women may have thought that they can get away with hitting a man but in the eyes of the law abuse is abuse regardless of your gender
