cops have a primary duty to Serve and Protect and they are expected to do this without any form of personal bias however many officers set these standards aside allowing arrogance to overshadow the professionalism expected of them but what happens when they don't get away with their arrogance and are finally exposed here are instances when arrogant cops realized they had been caught hello Renee right yeah step out of the car step out of the car turn around put your hands behind your back what did I do you're under arrest for what hey get your hands out let's begin with the unprofessional conduct of a Goodyear police officer during a traffic stop involving a civilian on September 6th 2018 Goodyear Police Department Officer Ross conducted a traffic stop on a woman identified as Renee armenta the reason for the Stop was that she had been driving without a license after confirming her identity officer Ross ordered her to exit the vehicle which she did however when informed that she was under arrest armenta in shock back towards her car officer Ross then punched armenta in the face although the body cam footage largely obscures this and proceeded to drag her along the concrete pavement what did I doy come on me for get of the what did I car Put Your Hands Up Get on the ground one a gun point one resistance get on the ground hey I didn't do nothing put the phone down right now call my mom dude I didn't do what did I do what did I do keep your hand when I can see him I'm burning what did I do what the do I didn't do anything watch your hands out oh I'm burning my is privilege to drive is suspended you're under arrest for that yep oh my God are you serious officer Ross didn't spare armenta's male passenger either after the punch the passenger exited the vehicle and officer Ross pulled out his pistol aiming it at him while ordering him to get on the ground step out I'm going to search you make sure you don't have anything on you okay you have anything on you guns knives CU anything that's going to poke me stick me or me all right you have shoes no they threw them over there okay come on step out for me real quick my feet are going to burn real quick my armenta resisting arrest however his actions pale in comparison to the unprofessionalism displayed by the officer in the next case thank you sir over here c k we're Le C and we're just out there open your cany can't leave and this guy he's on a PA system and just some lights on and says get out of here get get uh get get out of here take your business elere know he's talking about so so then uh I I said excuse me I start walking like this and he pulls his gun out on me this case involves an off-duty Bernal Leo County Deputy who was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and negligent use of a firearm the deputy identified as 34-year-old Michael bco of Albuquerque pointed a firearm at two patrons at a Circle K gas station here's what transpired just get the back get the back I said I said what go this is the sheriff's office I said whatever dude so he started walking and he kept play like this to us he said I'm I'm going to take your soul I'm going to take your soul from you right now keep time this guy hello sir my name is Al are you security here so the reason why I'm talking to you is uh we got a call for service about a silver Dodge a gentleman pointing a gun at somebody else saying he's going to take a soul and doing all that if you mind just stepping out for me real quick so I can complete my investigation the Albuquerque Police Department soon arrived at the scene where they found the two victims and Deputy bco present according to both officers and Witnesses bco appeared intoxicated as he ReRe of alcohol cuz this is the truck that they Nam additionally two empty New Amsterdam 100 Millers vodka bottles were discovered in the center console surrounded by trash and fast food bags in the back seat bco was booked on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and negligent use of a deadly weapon however Deputy bco is not the only officer whose arrogance led to their downfall as we will see in the next case yep just AE minute I can talk to you through the door it's not really a good moment for me to come out right now so this is the case of constable Hamilton Ian Milburn who on February 11th 2021 was making a house call on behalf of the superintendent Mr slavomir and harassing the tenant of the apartment the tenant claimed that she was being targeted by the superintendent who wanted to carry out Renovations that VI viated the zoning regulations of the home and was attempting to evict her here's what transpired I know that my neighbor has made some sort of complaint against me um if you look in the notes of your file you'll see that there has been false complaints made by Mr saamir in the past he is a superintendent he is someone who is trying to allow renovations to occur contrary to the zoning of this house in order to affect my eviction what this is is a superintendent harassing his tenant making it construed to be the opposite so Hey listen to me if you damage his property listen to me please don't speak if you damage his property none of his property can I finish my sentence you don't need to speak with if you fin if you damage his property you are going to be arrested and that's not going to help you that's not going to help you with your can I finish my sentence please I Haven okay then I'll just speak over you CU clearly you're unreasonable and you don't listen No actually if you damage pulled over by officer rigan who was on duty officer rigan claimed the reason for the Stop was that he believed he had seen bombard give him the middle finger as they passed each other however this was incorrect as bombard had not made the gesture even if he had it would still be unconstitutional for R to stop a civilian for nothing more than an insult no no I was doing this you must be really sens well I don't need make it personal you know I mean I you look right at me and if you were like a cigarette or you had doing first of all I'm not an overly sensitive person and it's the first time in 12 years I've ever stopped someone where I to put me off so I don't like that insinuation you know what I'm saying in talking I you off want to make sure that you all right yeah it's an unusual behavior it's unusual behavior you may not have been doing that but I think you can agree that if someone was looking for the attention of a trooper they're probably going to find it by giving them
