from theft to DUI or any other lawbreaking act you name it cops are there to maintain Law and Order and bring perpetrators to justice but what happens when the very cops responsible for upholding the department on August 16th 2021 the officers responded to a call regarding an individual with a gun on the 2500 block of North 27th Street in Milwaukee Wisconsin the call stated that the individual was pointing the gun at people around him and was terrorizing the Samaritans as the officers arrived on the scene the individual was asked to drop the gun however he did not comply with the command he instead pointed the gun at the officers who instructed him this watch how the standoff proceeds right there look he's got it Dave Put the gun down drop the gun it drop the gun GRE we got him here in measures the suspect the 42-year-old individual was pronounced dead at the scene no one else was injured by the gunfire and the suspect's firearm was recovered the officers involved a 32-year-old male with over 4 years of service a 26y y old male with over 5 years of service and a 29-year-old male with over 5 years of service were placed on administrative Duty as is routine following an officer involved shooting the proceedings of this case are not known hey CL is 68 okay let time stoping here yeah do you have your license on you all right just give me a moment all right let's begin with the unbelievable case of Charlotte Police Officer Henry Chapman Whose actions were a total disgrace and showed a huge disregard for his position as a cop on March 14th 2024 officer Chapman responded to assist a fellow officer during a traffic stop involving a driver who had allegedly been speeding and had an outstanding Federal arrest warrant during the search the suspect was found with stacks of cash and temp officer Chapman decided to pull a fast one here's how the interaction played outy appreciate you coming out I haven't talked to him yet all good I haven't talk to him yet let know it's a officers conducted a search on the suspect they heard a rubber band snap possibly indicating someone tampering with the dollar notes the suspect immediately accused officer Chapman of stealing some of the cash claiming that he had seen officer Chapman put some of the money between his legs before moving his left hand toward the driver's door pocket of his Patrol vehicle all right I'm going to count I'm not going anywhere I don't want any problems I'm not armed I do anything wrong I was just pulled over for a traffic stop he just tried to steal some of my money officer Chapman initi denied any knowledge of the money's presence but he later admitted to taking it claiming he had no intentions of actually stealing it I just wanted you guys to believe me and I'm sorry if I seemed I rate or there's another dollar in your pocket or I'm sorry if I seem like I was doing too much I just wanted you guys to believe me without me having to do anything like to show you guys you feeling like try to grab him or try to like reach in his car and grab the money while I heard it you feel what I'm saying and I know it was a lot going on I knew there was i y be like yeah they'll do that again at the um yes ma'am Captain his ID is on the dashboard up there do you mind putting it in in my evidence can I get like names down yeah all right take just take the uh whole holster off it's one of them qls get care okay buddy all right uh let me know right I'm good following an evaluation of the evidence against officer Chapman detectives arrested him and charged him with one count of embezzlement however the day after the incident officer Chapman resigned from the Charlotte Police Department if you think this was the maximum an idiot cop can get fired then you probably aren't aware of this next case well your tent is illegal so I want to test it and let you know for sure oh well I'm not letting you test it everyone the airp you can write okay so you're not going to let me test your tent no sir you can go ahead and write a ticket this is Officer Latina Washington a corrections officer on July 4th 2024 officer Duncan from the Tallahassee Police Department pulled over officer Washington for an alleged window tint violation somewhere in Tallahassee Florida initially the traffic stop feels like a usual stop but things take a filthy turn when officer Washington thinks she is above the law hey how y'all doing officer Co you have your driver's license what happened well your tent is illegal so I want to test it and let you know for sure oh well I'm not letting you test it youp you write okay so you're not going to let me test your tent no sir you can go ahead and write it um I'm not sure if I have it and I don't just want to be fing around in it but I do have my um registration resisting later Sergeant Rudd arrives on the scene and explains to officer Washington that not complying with the lawful commands of the officer could get her arrested watch how the encounter follows this is ridiculous I'm just he say if I don't let him test my uh tent then I'm going to jail but this man is literally targeting me he literally perfectly draw that's what I thought I know you can't go to jail for right now she's resisting this investigation so if she can't roll the window you can't sir have to cooperate Daddy can you please come here okay you have you have to at the same store ensuring that they do not have to answer questions or provide information that could be used against them in a criminal case however in this case rolling up the windows cannot be said to be protected under the Fifth Amendment watch how the encounter ends what she's under arrest for right now is resisting arrest fa to b a lawful demand I all the window up from contested because we believe that this can be on your way with at worst a ticket she refused to comply at that point we gave her the options like all you can either roll the window up and let us test it or we can arrest you and then roll the window up and test it and she went with uh she didn't want to roll the window up so we arrested her and we tested the window and it wasn't legal tent but so she's getting a ticket and charged with resisting arrest okay so would not cooperate with a window T check basically that's it officer Washington was arrested on the scene and was taken to Lion County Detention Facility she was issued a citation for the initial violation of the window tint she was charged with resisting without violence however later the state attorney did not pursue the charges and stated that the state would not seek further prosecution the proceedings of the case are unknown but speaking of being under the influence the police chief in the next case takes it to another level Hey Ron just pull that up and put later charged with DWI however Chief Guida who was not in uniform had an encounter with Officer William major at the scene during the altercation officer major furious at seeing the police chief drunk slammed him against the hood of a vehicle what's on the back of it me look going to tell me what's on the back of it oh it washed off yeah then get rid of it okay that's ridiculous Sergeant forgot come out here this is the case of a rookie officer from the ruid doo Police Department who lied and fabricated a break-in at his own house for no clear reason here's how it all played out yeah like I Road Northeast Washington DC the man was identified as 41-year-old lifford Brooks during the next 2 hours the cops de-escalated the situation successfully and called in EMS to further Aid the individual medically during the transport to a local hospital Mr Brooks became combative and attacked the firefighter or paramedic riding with him pinning them against the inside wall of the ambulance officer retreated and reiterated the command to drop the metal object the man charged at the officer grabbed him and swung the metal object in response the officer discharged his firearm striking the man the ambulance crew on the scene attempted life-saving measures but all efforts failed and the man was pronounced dead the officer who shot Mr Brooks was placed on administrative leave due to warning they Justified the arrest due to his refusal to cooperate the presence of a knife and his apparent intoxication the vehicle was searched without a warrant or consent which could potentially violate Fourth Amendment rights protecting against unlawful searches and seizures later the officers decided to tow the car because it was not registered in the individual's name and was undri able due to damage the individual was charged with battery against the officers subsequently the officers were fired from their jobs though it is unclear if their termination was related to this incident
