the video for today shows an incident
where a columbus police sergeant was
flagged down by a citizen who was
informing him of a potential gas leak in
his house
the sergeant
aired for backup in the form of columbus
fire department and asked them to
investigate this man's claims
of a gas leak
while the fire department inspected the
man's house
the supervisor inspected the man's story
which began to fall apart when he told
the sergeant that he fired a shotgun
through an exterior wall of his home
because he believed somebody was outside
trying to get in
it quickly became apparent to the
sergeant that this man was hallucinating
it was unclear at the time on whether he
was hallucinating due to drug use
or if he suffers from a mental health
disorder
regardless of the fact the man's shotgun
was taken away and he was transported to
a local hospital
for evaluation
with all that being said
