the cops had to step in to help a local hotel with a very unruly guest the suspect in question was 71-year-old Sharon and she blatantly refused to check out of the room when it was time to leave getting this woman to open the room door turned out to be harder than rocket science there was one set guest who booked a reservation for this woman who frequ points here saying that she has reservation but she never does so we just figure her just kind of a wander person okay and um so she ultimately got a reservation through another guest who was staying here and um her departure is today I'm supposed to meet okay so the room St for her and she just yeah for one night and that was her checkout was at noon today okay so we just need to ask to leave yes I got you okay but we do want to serve a CH pass on her as well do you guys have a CH I do yeah I have the form and then um I just need to get maintenance to override the dead I'll it seems it wasn't the hotel's first time dealing with Sharon so they already knew that getting her out would be a challenging Mission with the hotel employee ready to trespass Sharon it looks like she'd have to enjoy her last few minutes in the hotel while she still could because it's likely she'd never be coming back um I was able to speak to her about 2:00 p.m. okay and explained that um checkout was at noon and she argue about breakfast I said that's long gone and my yeah my colleague and I went to open it the Sharon s police Sharon open the door Sharon open the door Santa Fe police Sharon had already overstayed her welcome by a total of 4 hours the officer was shown to the rumor she was staying and thus began a long game of back and forth to make Sharon unlock the door ultimately Sharon would have to choose between opening the door herself or maintenance coming to take the dead bolt off well that's okay well you need to open it so I could talk to you a lady named Abby and her mother yeah okay open the door have PID for the room open the door sh or they're just going to open it i' rather you open it on yourself and me and you could talk I can hear you I'm going to open the door so you got a choice either you Woman's Antics were quickly becoming annoying and the officers were back at square one we have no idea whatsoever what Sharon thought her stubbornness would achieve but maybe she was just desperate for another free night somewhere even if that meant the jail housee you're making this way ridiculous right now so come on you're not a child you're a grown woman get up let's go no I'm not going October 2023 the Monroe County Police Department responded to a local Resort's request for help a couple that had checked in had gotten belligerently drunk thank you babe for being oh my man yeah I'm interested whatsoever through her sobbing she was getting very belligerent and unfortunately for everyone she had a lot more fight left in her I spent three grand and $300 to stay here arrest take me arrived on scene in Key West Florida to find an unreasonably drunk woman having an extreme meltdown on the floor of a hotel lobby do you know her she's my what is her deal all right is she coughed for 2 seconds as the newly arrived officer got the story straight the woman had arrived in Florida that very day for a vacation so her holiday so far was off to a bad start is she Bing you don't want to come cool do you have an ID on her yes work yeah this isn't hers yeah I think they took your purse up there upstairs do you have your ID [Applause] on no it's no problem you going to take it off what do you have what's her first name Terra what do you as tera's husband was giving information to the officer she was going more and more off the rails you'd think that being handcuffed on the floor of a hotel lobby would be a sobering experience but Tara was already Way Gone nothing really made a difference to her this is your wife right okay well no uh yeah all right not like this this is up I stand up after a heck of an effort they finally gotten the woman to the squad car and perhaps that's when she realized she was actually in big trouble because that was her cue to start the put your feet on the flooor put that foot on the floor no Randy put that foot on the floor dealing with drunks and belligerent suspects is probably the least enjoyable part of their jobs and as far as Tara went there was no amount of reasoning that was going to break through to her in her highly intoxicated State they lifted the woman into the cop car while she was still sobbing and putting on a very dramatic victim Act you do you need a pair of enough to get them on there do you need a pair of cuffs uh just as you something going to happen I'm a detective Sergeant so we don't get a lot of AR like this out yeah no so so so what happened between you and her cuz I cuz no she she was just so intoxicated so she was kicking around every she out of it um she spilled water like a bottle water she threw on her friend it wasn't really us and we backed up so when she was in the cop car now it was time to wrap up this arrest which had to have been the worst of the day the officers had a quick debriefing before heading back to speak with the husband and the question is how's this guy going to react to his wife's arrest this this is ridiculous I don't know how y'all act in Georgia but this is ridiculous honestly she ain't never done nothing like this we got here like I said at 10:30 and we literally walked the two miles to the bar she had two drinks Randy can you turn on my back camera for me please Kevin she had two drinks and this happen really so how do they act here I'm just saying can I have your ID please I just I thought it was kind of rude said that to me when it's very well officer was a bit fed up with them considering how they acted no matter where they went in Florida they probably weren't going to be welcome especially not at the hotel they were just kicked out of much according to plan Tara was charged with disorderly conduct resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer it was the 12th of March 2024 and guess what we're back in Key West the cops pulled over a driver who was visibly erratic irresponsible and nearly crashing into nearby objects suspecting the driver was under the influence they of course pulled the driver over little did the officers know that it wasn't the driver that would be a problem but his wife would turn out to be an incredible handful there two reasons I'm stopping you no lights okay there one sorry the other you almost hit the curb and then you almost went into the left lane is there any legal reason for that absolutely not okay license registration and insurance please it's a Ral car okay why is your speech slur how much have you had to drink tonight sir I've had a few but um okay go ahead and step out how do right back over here okay you're exhibiting a couple of signs of impairment okay I'm just going to tell you I can see it in your eyes y okay I can hear it in your speech and I saw it in your driving pattern I hear you okay so you telling me that you had a few how many is a few oh I I've had a claiming her son was an officer the cops continued questioning the driver and the next step for the officers was the field sobriety test considering how much he'd had to drink it was a pretty safe bet the driver couldn't follow the officer's pen without moving his head and this was proving what everybody already knew in his drunken State he definitely didn't belong on the road at least the guy was remarkably calm which certainly counted in his favor do you have kids you I know you have one son okay so do you have grandkids yep okay all right so do you feel that it would be safe to have your grandchildren in the car right now with you driving I would say that um I would not I would not go out tonight if I was okay with my grandaughter okay all right Don can I have you turn and face away blow smoke up since since you asked I will talk about no absolutely it would not have changed anything okay okay ma'am so where we're at right now is he's being arrested for DUI okay okay so you've probably had something to drink tonight too yeah okay so we can't let you drive away either so you're going to have to facilitate a ride but it can't be in this vehicle okay the remorse kicked in once the driver was placed in handcuffs the driver had now been dealt with and now the only thing left was getting his wife out of there as well considering she also had a few drinks the officers prepared themselves for her being less than Cooperative yes my son is a a police officer um here in Connecticut okay I I know but that's the second time you told me that that doesn't what does that mean there's he's he's being arrested for DUI okay okay you're in no shape to drive yourself so we're going to have to tow the vehicle and you need to gather whatever belongings you have and then so we only have the one jail he's going to go to the jail more than likely release him tomorrow okay and then you you know can go from there but as of where we are right now this is what we have to do I mean we have to protect the public unfortunately for his wife she figured out pretty quickly that she wouldn't be able to use her son as a pass to get out of the trouble they were in still if was up to her to decide whether she'd be leaving on her own accord or joining her husband in jail so what do you think she'll choose if you want to work on getting a ride we'll wait here with you while you do it where's my husband he's going to jail now oh come on really yes ma'am he is intoxicated driving okay it's Key West really that's got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life you don't in Key West is that what you're saying no no people drink and drive in Key West and they get arrested for it yes ma'am it is against the law and it's very unsafe he had a few drinks he's not out of problem of all was the female didn't see any issue whatever with their behavior at all she seemed to think that because they were in a vacation Hot Spot the normal rules didn't apply to them no matter what her reasoning was it's never okay to drink and drive and endanger innocent people stay right there stay right there you're about to go and cuff what are you going to do are you going to leave here on your own accord or you going to go to jail cuz I have a whole extra empty seat and a whole pair of handcuffs with no wrists in them so what would you like to do look at you you big big man big man don't worry it's okay to do we're in Key West according to her my son is a fuing cop okay no he's in the academy he is not a cop and that doesn't get you anything so try again walk away get yourself a ride home where's my husband get off this property or you're going to go to jail for trespassing on top of where's my husband where's my husband I've told you three times is my husb in the okay let go ironically the woman could have left the scene and just went on her Merry way home to sleep it off by now but she insisted on staying and arguing with the officers shockingly once the handcuffs came out she didn't seem so thrilled but that's what you get when you drunkenly swear at the officers and refuse to follow their instructions don't get to hold your property this all could have been avoided okay it's not okay I need my phone I need it will go with you going with you excuse me I have daughters that I need to no no no no no no no no no I have daughters that I need to get believe that having daughters at home made her exempt from being arrested looks like this woman used her kids as an excuse one too many times excuse me excuse me why not just excuse me can I can I talk to my daughters from that from there when you get to jail you can call them from the jail phone you can stare at me all you want I have daughters I need excuse me you can call them from down you're very classic C down remember Google five star review that was really dumb it's hilarious she thought she was actually being intimidating but somehow these cops just weren't taking her seriously the cop sense ofor humor wrapped up the investigation perfectly the man was charged with the DUI while his wife received a resisting arrest charge this married couple ended up spending a vacation night in jail on the 23rd of September and once again in Key West the cops were called to remove a passenger from a carnival cruise ship the passenger here by the name of Eric was unmanageably intoxicated so this guy's holiday ended before it even started we're here to escort you off the ship really yeah why cuz I'm 260 or what well that and you're drunk and disorderly your wife is on the way probably turn you over to her if there's no trouble that sound good I don't wife next door she's on the way she's on PS do you have an ID do you have an ID I do but like if if I try to show you you're going to see my [Applause] penis is that okay or is that against law and I have these things on can you please take these off I'm sorry sir I I can't reach nothing because I have these you can't tell us where your is it's not on you you're nak I know right instead of cooperating to get this entire thing over quicker Eric decided instead to make inappropriate and LW comments to the officers embarrassingly his son was on board as well considering his very impaired state it was better for the other Cruise passengers if Eric was removed as promptly as possible because of him being drinking so he has this bruises and all those things okay so he end up coming on board we were called soci side security called us we escorted him back to his cabin okay while in the cabin he stri naked he be started becoming abusive so the security called us toward security that was at the room and his son was here with a 16-year-old where's the 16-year-old now he's down on the desk right now okay so so we were concerned about the son so we took him out but he because he was in the bathroom and we can hear him falling multiple times we have to open the bathroom and get him out so we put him towels took him out from the bathroom make him sit because he was toally naked and you know saying things what he's saying right now thank you so we tried to convince him to calm down but he was very Progressive and then we have to decide either let him stay inside with the kid or let the kid outside okay so we took the told the son to come outside and try to come sit but he keep charging on so we want him to be safe us to be safe by the sound of it the security on board had quite a difficult time dealing with Eric before the cops arrived one of the main concerns here was finding a person to take custody of his son but the first order of business was to get Eric off the ship you want to suck my not today is anybody does anybody EAS easy easy left my my left knee is Bomb what what happened to your left smashed it hardcore when you were fighting security no not when I was F when I was carrying material bro I'm a tri I'm a trim Carpenter so like did you get surgery on your KNE no but I I I need to get surgery on my KN what's up relax my yeah we'll take can I look can I turn around and look at you please just will you quit make can we not turn around to him can I look at you sure we're going to be elev can I please turn around and look at you unfortunately for the police officers the walk off the cruise ship was not a quiet one thankfully Eric was not being physically combative but there was no guarantee things would stay that way I'm guessing that one of the best decisions they could have made was kicking this guy off the ship before they even left Port hell yeah get the out thank you okay all right can I turn around yeah yeah you can turn around you can hold me but you don't got to hold me like like I'm dying bro where's my dude in the corner you're my dude can I sit can I sit next to you yeah we get off oh damn I'm [ __ ] because you're kind bro you treated me like I was a human like you have no idea what the that mean here huh I've been treating you I I put hands on you little I've been treating you nicely yeah but he's been treating me like I'm a human all the cops treated Eric with decency and tried to minimize the embarrassment to the man Eric however quickly undid their efforts by making a scene at the elevator for some unknown reason he appeared to fancy one of the officers but then when he made threats to another officer this guy's drunken Behavior stop being funny whatsoever ship do are you mad at me um it's right there did somebody take these off yeah can I get back on the boat or no I don't think so that's cool the highly inappropriate comments he was making were likely one of the main reasons he got kicked off the boat in the first place and it's no wonder of course because Eric was creating a very unpleasant scene the lesson here is that before you start having your unlimited drinks package it's better for you to wait till the ship departs oh your son Logan is not in trouble I know so he can guess what his stepmom is going to treat him like dog likef huh specifically I'm sorry I didn't understand badly yes can can you please grab him too before we can rent a car and drive back up so he can stay here West with you oh we're not staying if he West we're going to Colorado I don't think you're in condition to drive the car right now you need to S up first bad that's what I'm saying can you please take your off we'll be good to you am I getting my sucked at all or no you never know really oh [ __ ] are you down with me but I'm just saying so we're gonna switch handcuffs cuz uh we got to get these back to the ship okay got but we're cool right these weren't for the ship we're not going to fight we're no it seemed a little too late for this guy to suddenly be concerned about his son they were a long way from home and now they'd both have to make a very unpleasant trip all the way back to Colorado however before he could do anything he'd have to sober up where am I from from Colorado Colorado yes so you flew Miami Lauderdale got on the ship I'm sorry I didn't hear you did you fly like Miami or Lauderdale no we drove my car down there all right hey what did I get arrested for I think you're what am I detain for we just work with the ship we I kind ofri distribution distribution distribution distribution that's your thing that's your jam well it was until I started becoming a trim Carpenter Eric and the cops here finally reached a point where he could be searched and detained but suddenly he got very concerned about why this was happening by the sounds of it he already had quite the criminal history but then he made a life switch to be a trim Carpenter which is just one of the most random and wildest Things we've heard because he's being kicked off the ship that's it he got aggressive with them in there but that's why they detained him he never hit anybody he just got he's drunk and threatening like wh whiskey C whiskey courage guy but I get kicking him off the ship totally down with that but kicking him off the ship with no ID no credit card no wallet no way to actually leave here right is going to end up sucking for us yeah because then he then he is stuck here right right cuz he has nothing and we got to deal with him and then we got to deal with him because he's kick off the boat with nothing and then he can't even get money wired to him cuz he's got no ID and nothing he just what starts walking and now he's a 7 the cop here summed everything up perfectly and it was crystal clear that whiskey courage definitely had a huge role to play unfortunately the cops were left in a conundrum since they couldn't just let this guy go leaving him to his own devices because at this point he was clearly not capable of making any responsible decisions I'm not a bad guy am I going to jail ins the pleas can I have my stuff please yeah your stuff is coming with you will I get in trouble if I pee in the car yes big trouble and there nice Ni no where I I need a bathroom then we're on the way you have I've been walking with you guys for a long time I have to peedom see your bathroom can you put your dude I'm pee myant can we do some friendly hands on hands we just have poliy we got no it's just nothing personal no can we for remember me from the ship huh remember me from the ship yes you're cool you're Carpenter you cool but like look at what the doing to me they eventually arrived at the jail housee but he was still not sober enough to have a rational and logical conversation thankfully his son was picked up by Eric's ex-wife and he could further avoid seeing the DraStic spiral of his father hey do I get a Char people yes I'm fighting with people I F I'm an animal I would have killed myself off the back of the bow but those people stopped what this where am I going we got to get why Eric had to end things on an incredibly dramatic note but we can't say this came as any sort of surprise Eric was charged with disorderly conduct which on ruy
