take there of a problem an unregistered vehicle okay let's hear what is why were they pulled over first of all Miss now don't call me Miss I'm commissioner thank you commissioner all due why they pulled over all due respect there are so many jokes about greedy entitled politicians that I don't know where to start usually jokes are based on facts it's very common for politicians to get power hungry they start thinking that their position is so important that they're Above the Law now don't call me myth I'm commissioner thank you commissioner yes why would they pulled over they feel they have the authority to berate police officers even when they're just doing their jobs as best as they can so today we highlight some of the most recent cases where politicians were caught breaking the law or attempting to abuse their power we start off with a father who might not have been wrong at all you want me to sue the son of a county sheriff because he arrested my kid on a false warrant this is Utah County Commissioner Bruce Adams the reason he so upset is that in November 2022 Deputy Wyatt holyo pulled over his son Kenneth Adams for a traffic violation what did I do wrong good so the reason I stopped you is you didn't come to complete stop the stop sign I did and then you didn't have your turn signal on I sure did now this doesn't sound like a reason to arrest anyone right well as the deputy was looking into Mr Adams he realized that there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest because he failed to appear in court right off the bat Kenneth Adams denies there's such a warrant and ref refuses to get out of the vehicle all right can I can I get you to step out the vehicle with me what are you doing no what what's going on seriously what's going on you have a warrant how do I have a warrant I don't know how you have a warrant but it's on our system right now you have an active warrant out of seven district court here in s Juan I've gone no that's incorrect Kenneth continues to argue that he went to all the courts but the officer is adamant that he's going to jail after a short debate the driver does get out of the vehicle but calls his mother before the officers Place him in handcuffs and have him sit in the squad car once there the officer explained that the warrant was issued on October 13th on felony charges and burglary charges Mr Adams was adamant that he'd already gone to court for that and that this warrant was a mistake but the officers needed to do their job and they took Mr Adams to jail after notifying his parents to come and pick up the vehicle that's when Mr Bruce Adams arrives at the scene okay where's kenon he's in jail they took him you right took him to jail they took him to jail and I stay here with the car why for a who do I call to find out find out the warrant you're a police officer tell me who I call to find out why he's in jail Deputy Holio later stated in his report that Mr Bruce Adams displayed an aggressive stance and quote tried to use his influence as a county commissioner to intimidate him he added that the man swore at him multiple times demanding to see his son's warrant eventually the deputy called his boss to check if he was allowed to show Mr Adams his son's warrant once he was given clearance the deputy proceeded proceeded to show the father his son's warrant and list all the charges after Mr Bruce Adams states that his son has already been to court for all that the deputy clearly explains that they'll have to take it up with the court as the officers are only doing their jobs and of course the deputy's correct about that the aggravating circumstance here is that this happened on a Friday evening and the courts won't be open till Monday that means that Kenneth Adams will have to spend the weekend in jail over a possible mistake in the judicial system I I don't no Bruce I have no idea who knows the courts you can the courts I can't get to the court until Monday right because of a son of a in faults arrest okay so it's obvious that Mr Bruce's son is No Angel as he's had multiple run-ins with the law however he might be on the mend and looking to turn things around so we can empathize with his family however the officers were only doing their jobs to the best of their ability and now Bruce is asking them to basically break the law what do you want me to do I want you to turn him loose I can't turn him loose Bruce who can nobody can he's been arrested for a warrant the courts can and the warrant's fults huh the warrant's not fults the warrant you want me to sue the son of a county sheriff because he arrested my kid on a false warrant as it turned out the Adams Family was right Kenneth Adams was released days after the incident and the false warrant was later withdrawn still his father was apologetic because of the way he acted he later stated it's embarrassing for me to act that way I feel bad that I did that but I was emotional he also insists that not once did he use his position as leverage but that he acted as a father what do you think about Mr Bruce Adams Outburst would you demand the same knowing the warrant was false if you're an adult chances are you've experienced having one too many drinks it can happen to anyone but what doesn't usually happen to anyone is falling asleep in your car in broad daylight holding a crackpipe in your hands that's exactly what happened to a councilman of all people lawyer Matthew Riley an officer responded to a report of a man potentially choking in his vehicle when he arrived at the scene he noticed Riley was fast asleep and unresponsive only when he opened the car door and took his hand did Riley finally awake going to pat you down yes sir put into in lock your fingers your fingers do you have any weapons on you no not at all Mr Riley appears to be coherent and smiling there's no slurge speech or erratic Behavior nor is there a smell of alcohol since the officer already saw the crack pint he proceeded to Pat the suspect down and find his wallet that's when the realization comes that this is in fact a Cranston city councilman oh no way dude really yes yes I was just taking I was just on my way back from Court well arrest was going to come come check you out man I can't let you go you were literally choking in your sleep somebody flagged me down about it oh I have sleep AP you I'm sorry well and then you have a crack pipe in your hands so it's likeit sorry listen up until this point everything went according to procedure but this is the moment the hair stands up on the back of my neck because the cop starts saying how there's nothing he can do because he has a body camera that records everything listen I I have a body camera obviously everything I have is recorded you know that and what I've observed is on camera so I can't pretend I didn't you know so arrest is going to come here and they're going to check you out you know you as far as I know there's no drugs anywhere so I can't you know so there's not a criminal investigation there's more a health well-being check thank you keep in mind that if you're convicted for possession of a controlled substance as a firsttime offender you're facing going to prison for up to 3 years as well as paying a $5,000 fine Riley stated several times that that there were no drugs in the car that he did smoke crack earlier in the day and that he was just taking things out of his pocket when he dozed off however officers who arrived later searched his car and found crack C so the councilman was placed under arrest all right yeah I know it's not like I uh have an option here man sorry as soon as the body cam video was released to the public the news picked up on it and even the mayor decided to address the public I am calling on him publicly to resign from his position as the city councilman in Ward six I feel that's in the best interest of the city his constituents I also feel that personally it's in his best interest the mayor said that he knows the councilman and his family and wished that he would find help with the problems he's going through Riley later stated that that was the day he relapsed after 13 years of being sober and it was due to going through a difficult divorce he was later charged with one count of possession and released from jail he resigned his position on the city council as well as his political party and also lost his license to practice law but that wasn't the end of the problems for this councilman a former Cranston city councilman has been arrested for the second time in less than a month this time for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor Matthew Riley was arraigned today in Kent County District cour report on three felony charges this newest arrest came just 2 weeks after Riley was found slumped over in his car according to the police the victim was a 12-year-old girl who wasn't related to him he's being charged with first and second degree child molestation as well as enticement of a person under 16 hearing that he was going through a rough time and that he relapsed into drugs made me feel sorry for the guy at one point but these new charges are extremely heinous and show that the frail timid councilman has a much darker side to him and to think that if it weren't for the body cams he might not have been arrested at all who knows if the child molestation would have ever come to light what's problem how you doing sir the reason I'm stopping you Jud William wow let me just stop right there because I can already see that this is going to be a fiery one this is the body cam recording taken by Officer Johnson of morfield police on October 25th officer Johnson pulled over a vehicle because he observed the driver holding a cell phone in his right hand the driver turned out to be Hardy County Circuit Judge C Carter Williams in his report officer Johnson stated that from the outset the respondent acted in a manner on becoming a Judicial officer what why did you stop me you had your cell phone in your hand I had my phone like this I just lost it I was just looking for it pulled it up like this was not on it I just looked in the go up and look why are you screaming at me sir you insurance you have your license Pro insurance I wasn't doing anything wrong you have your license regation I'm not going to give you my license registration so there's the Crux of the problem the officer claims that the judge was talking on the phone but the judge claims that he was merely holding it in his hand I drive by a lot of times and youall are on yours you're never on yours right I don't understand never on yours why are you yelling at me sir I said you're never on your why you y me I'm not I'm not yelling at you yes you have been I've never raised my voice tell you something you all are on yours I was not if you read the code the code says that if we're conducting official business you can be on it the judge is out of luck on this one as the West Virginia code is quite clear on the matter it's forbidden to operate a motor vehicle on a public Street while using a cell phone or any other electronic communications device unless it's accomplished handsfree and using a device is defined by holding it in your hand so whether he was talking on the phone or not is beside the point yet he allowed himself to get agitated and escalated the situation further I'm really irritated about this whole go ahead and give me a t well why are you being like this to me I've never done nothing to to you in my whole life you just pulled me over for no reason because you had yourself in your hand pull me over for no reason you had your and you think that a simple ticket would settle this right there and then but in reality it was far from over while the officer was checking the documents the judge called morfield police Lieutenant Melody burough to complain even though she was off duty at the time the lieutenant then called officer Johnson and instructed him not to write the ticket sadly the officer buckled under the pressure even though he came to the realization that the judge's driver's license had expired several months prior to the incident if I had to guess that was the real reason the judge got so agitated by this situation and he wasn't going to calm down anytime soon you can WR me take it or not I don't care I'll take it up to town we'll go to a trial buddy that's fine with me and I tell you what the next time I see any of you on the phone I'm stopping right there and call the State Police any of okay this is how I had my fun I reached down and got it under my seat I pulled it up here I was driving like this was not talking on you can look you can look when you pulled me over see whether I was on my phone why are you being like this I'm being it because I've seen this crap enough and I'm tired of go here's your insurance give it to me the officer then Returns the documents to the judge and also instructs him to renew his driver's license but the judge wasn't done yet soon after the incident he called morfield police chief Steven WLAN realizing the judge was getting more and more agitated the chief told him not to phone him at home so the judge hung up on him Williams continued to call other people like the former police chief and then again Lieutenant Burrows after which he went to the home of morfield Mayor Carol Zuber to complain to her as well what a Caren in the end the judge's decisions came back to haunt him even though he didn't break any laws there was suspicion that he broke West Virginia's code of judicial conduct there was a Judicial hearing that concluded that Williams violated six judicial rules related to professional and public cond conduct he was sanctioned to 6 months without pay as well as a $5,000 fine after it was all said and done I'm just disappointed that officer Johnson buckled under the pressure I wish he'd written him a ticket and another one for the expired driver's license for that alone he'd be facing a fine a ticket or even possible jail time imagine if officer Johnson had arrested him that would have been fun to watch for sure when we're talking about entitled people who get high on power you know there'll be at least one Karen involved they just go with the territory I guess however this case is special because Karen wasn't even involved in the original police investigation the incident happened when police officers pulled over a vehicle with a group of young adults for minor infractions such as a tened window and the license plate bracket blocking the letters as it turned out the vehicle's registration was expired and the driver had no insurance what the officer didn't know was that the driver was the daughter of a local Port Authority commissioner who felt like she owned the world apparently notice her daughter waving to her as this is the moment she arrives at the scene no you need to give us a receipt or something like how are they going to know that this one this is a receipt this goes on file hi I'm Karen Turner hi I'm a resident here you go it's fine we don't I don't I don't need that okay fine I'm here you're just here you're just here as the ride right no I'm not okay I'm here as a concerned Citizen and friend of the mayor and been in tly for 20 years I take responsibility for them and what is the reason they were pulled over while researching entitled people I noticed there's a pattern that often repeats itself when it comes to young adults they're quick to call their parents to the rescue and the parents are equally quick to respond and try to take care of the problem this is how spoiled and entitled Behavior perpetuates itself because young people are not given the chance to take any responsibility whatsoever because there's always someone there to get them out of trouble the officers try to dismiss this woman but she's not going down without a fight the driver has all the information he'll tell you no no no no no I need to know no you don't need to know okay you are not involved here you're picking them up no no no I'm involved TR me I'm not going to tell you he's the driver with the automobile he's over 18 that's all you need to know um and the officer is completely correct the driver is over 18 he should be capable of understanding what's going on and how to deal with the situation if he's not it's a about time he learns that's how young people get to grow into responsible adults but no this Karen is obviously trying to take charge of the situation notice how she even disperses the crowd as if she's delegating who should stand where then she flashes her credentials as a commissioner when that fails she goes to a different tactic a problem registered vehicle okay let's hear what is why were they pulled over first of all now don't call me Miss I'm commissioner thank you commissioner yes all due respect why they pulled over all due respect yep driver will no no no I need yes the car is getting tow off why is the car getting tow go ask him no no obviously Karen excuse me uh the commissioner is trying to find out if maybe the officers didn't have probable calls to stop the car hoping that she might make them forget about the whole thing in essence she's trying to intimidate these officers to let the matter slide and to be fair the officer could have just told her about the tinted windows and the license plate frame but he was obviously fed up with her approach I got to take four people back to New I'll be honest with you I be frank with you yeah I want to know what the problem is it's more of the way you just approached me and and your demeanor you know what okay that's I'm I'm being honest with you I want to know why I just don't appreciate your demeanor being very demanding with me no I'm asking you a question which is not being answered but it doesn't need to be answered it's irrelevant you know what Karen then explains that she's about to take four people into her house unexpectedly and she wants to know the reason why they were pulled over my guess is is that if she had approached the officer calmly and respectively without flashing her credentials and behaving like she owned the place the officer probably would have explained the situation but with Karen's it's never that easy why these people are being called has not been summoned she was not the driver this is not her vehicle it's not your vehicle I'm you this is not going to be if you have a problem explaining what the problem is and why their car is being confiscated then we have a problem trust me I will be in with the commissioner of police of ply take a step back take a step back you can't even describe what and this is where things get heated the officer stands his ground and after some arguing Karen realizes she's hitting the proverbial brick wall instead of calming down she starts acting like a mom who's reprimanding in ordinate children okay that's pathetic and you are a disappointment and you are just following him so you are also a disappointment you can't put together a of what the problem you finished now are you finished ma'am I'm shocked shocked and very disappointed you take them you may take them now you may not tell me when to take my child you may shut up and not tell me when I may take my kids and her friends who are PhD students from MIT and yeah okay so why was she so adamant about trying to resolve this situation well driving an unregistered vehicle can get you a $500 fine or even 60 days in jail however things turned out much worse for Commissioner Karen because she faced a ton of backlash for her temper tantrum there was so much pressure that she decided to resign her position as the Port Authority commissioner in the summer of 2022 social media was buzzing because of an insane and seemingly unprovoked altercation between Towns County Sheriff Ken Henderson and hawasi policeman Tracy James it all started during an ordinary traffic stop when James pulled over an unknown driver suddenly Sheriff Henderson appears and all hell breaks loose inside the city or out here just right here go pull the video ATO you get on my traffic stop again I will arrest you yeah I'll arrest now do it buddy and we're going to charges your Do It Go do it there's cameras at Valero and there's cameras at Napa that he pulled out shut your mouth you don't talk to me like that I'm not your boy bo boy thank obviously agitated and extremely unnerved by the altercation Officer James returns to his vehicle his hands are shaking and he's panting heavily and he has some Choice words for the sheriff so what was this all about well it seems there's been a dispute earlier on because the Sheriff's Office claimed that hawasi police had been making traffic stops outside City Limits so basically out of their jurisdiction so this officer claims that he caught the man speeding within City Limits but by the time he caught up with him they were already outside the city and that's where the sheriff spotted him even so I don't see what the big fuss is about whether the traffic infraction was a few yards to one side or the other the important thing is that the officers are able to maintain the law however the sheriff doesn't think so later on news channels picked up on the audio where he instructs his deputies not to cooperate with hawasi police because they're the enemy not only that but when the news about this broke out a civilian came forth with his own footage you could very well be in good shape here if you quit running your mou the person in the car is Joshua Kramer who was on his way to church with his wife and children when a black unmarked SUV tried to get into their Lane Kramer says he had to slam on his brakes so he threw his hands up in the air but then the driver of the SUV turned on his lights and pulled the family over when did you start recording it was right after he come up and and said let's see if we can't get you a ticket me and the wife both just had a gut feeling that something was wrong this isn't how this is supposed to go you acting like a [ __ ] back there I'm being cooperative as I can be my kids are terrified because of the the anger that he's putting through my window my wife's crying my baby Kramer decided to make the footage public when he saw the same Sheriff having an argument with Officer James pretty soon even a former cooworker of the sheriff decided to come forth although she wished to stay Anonymous according to her the sheriff did not allow his employees to have any contact with the hawasi police he even reprimanded them for having a meal with the supposed enemy here's just a glimpse into the audio I'll run this mother by myself before I'll be disrespected by people that work for me and I'm sorry I know I'm acting Christ I'm this I've never been a damn man but let me ask you are you going to hang out all the time with my enemies now here's a surprise for you in his altercation with Mr Kramer the sheriff apparently didn't do anything wrong he's even allowed to issue a ticket without showing his badge or saying his name in fact even a civilian is allowed to issue a traffic violation ticket provided he provides a sworn statement within 30 days of the violation the problem here is is that the sheriff did not issue a ticket he just berated a family for his own selfish reasons the altercation with Officer James is being investigated however there's another huge issue that's kind of hiding in plain sight the problem with jurisdiction comes from the federal government subsidizing ticket writing to the amount of $600 million per year so police stations are often in a hurry to get their own piece of the cake which makes officers more and more aggressive in riding tickets especially because over 20 States openly evaluate police Performance Based on the number of issued tickets this further perpetuates over policing and erosion of public trust particularly among members of certain racial groups well I hope you had a blast as we tore through a few entitled politicians who act like they own the country do you think they got what they deserved let me know in the comments below and do me a favor and subscribe we'll see you next time
