to jail. >> Nobody wants to go to jail. But here we are. >> You just stole $600. >> I know. I know. And I made a mistake and I'm aware of it and and I want you to know I'm aware of it and I and I will whatever you want me to do, I will show you changes actively. I will I will do it. Please >> shut up. Damn. Shut up. I CAN'T EVEN TALK NOW. I'M NOT TALKING TO him no more cuz he is too rude. He's been rude since day one. I'm telling him my soul is over there and he the one that let me buy the stuff from me in the store cuz he want to take some out of the jail so bad. >> The cops hear all kinds of stories from different kind of suspects. That's just part of the job. However, while some thieves immediately own up to things, others come up with some of the lamest excuses that even the cops wouldn't believe it. >> I don't need to go to jail for not stealing and shoplifting. If I shoplifted, you took the items. I don't have to get I don't have to be in prison. >> On September 23rd, 2023, the cops were called to a Walmart store in Chamble, Georgia. A young woman had been taken to the monitoring room and didn't seem to understand why she was there. The cops had to explain to her that she'd been called shoplifting. in Walmart. We just here to enforce the law up to Walmart. >> Will I not be able ever to come back to Walmart? >> It's up to Walmart depending on how much merchandise you actually stole. You take mask off. You can take mask off. >> I do. I put face mask. >> Huh? >> I put face mask on. >> Regarding that mask she was wearing, she kept giving the cops excuses that didn't add up. She said it was a designer mask, which had little to do with her claim that the mask was used for religious purposes. The cops explained her charges, which were shoplifting and trespassing, but she denied being involved. >> I didn't trespass anything. >> I didn't trespass anything, sir. >> Am I getting in trouble for chocolate? I don't have anybody to contact. Please don't take me to jail. >> Do I have to pay a fine? >> Do I have to pay a fine, sir? I didn't steal anything. Obviously, he just took it. So, why am I not being having a warning? >> That's totally up to you. >> The Walmart. Yeah, I don't need to get arrested for Walmart. I don't I shop at Walmart all the time and I pay for things, but I didn't have any money this time, so I I needed a little bit of help, but I don't think I should be arrested. I think I should be like a a warning. >> As they searched the woman, she went on complaining that she hadn't been given a warning. The woman asked why she was getting in trouble when she'd only stolen food she needed to survive. It was an unbelievable statement, and the woman's grasp on things did not seem to be getting any better. >> I don't I don't trespass anywhere. I mean, I pay for items and I come shop if I needed to. This is my first time taking anything like that out of Walmart. >> Bank of hers. >> Yeah. >> With all her belongings in it. >> Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. That's my first time taking anything out of Walmart. Why am I getting this taken off? >> Ma'am, you're going to the cab. >> I need help. Why am I being in prison? And you said it's up to Walmart. Do I need to get >> prosecute? >> Prosecute as in not come to Walmart ever again and pay for my items. >> Meaning you're going to jail for the amount you stole. >> That's a $100 that I have in my pocket. >> Okay. You should have paid it then. >> What am I going to be able to do? Like, how am I supposed to get out of that? Like how long do I have to stay for? >> I don't know. >> I don't need to go to jail for not stealing and shoplifting. If I shoplifted, you took the items. >> I don't have to get I don't have to be in prison or in jail for anything. I'm 19 years old. I don't have any money like that. >> After they searched the woman's bag, they confirmed the woman tried to walk out of Walmart with items totaling $116. She continued asking why she was being arrested as if she truly believed she'd done nothing wrong. >> I mean, still he literally he literally got me. So why am I getting arrested now? >> Yes. Why am I getting arrested? He didn't give me no warning or nothing. He don't have to give you no warning. >> He does not have to. >> He should have took the items. You passed the point of sale. Yes, you did. You passed the point of sale. You were going to if they would have said nothing, you would have got out scot-free with $100 in your pocket. >> I don't have anything. >> You had $116 worth of item. >> That's 16. I literally don't have anything though. That's the thing. Why didn't I get a warning or nothing? >> They're not They don't have to give you >> shoplifting. People shoplift every day. They don't have anything. Okay. Why did I get a warning before y'all just arrested me? He said prosecution off that. >> They don't have to. If it's their item, they don't have to give you anything. >> No, I'm saying they didn't give you a warning. >> They don't have to give you no warning. >> They don't have to give you a warning. >> They don't have to. >> You don't just take somebody into custody because they shop with you have to give them a warning. >> No. No, you don't. No. So, so you don't have to give you a warning for stealing. They don't have to do that. >> It's not your stuff. You took it. No matter how many times they explained it to her, she just couldn't accept that she was being arrested without being given a warning first. [music] You had to admire the cop's patience, especially when rudely she started talking over them. >> So, do I have to pay a fine for trespassing? If I shop at Walmart, do I have to pay a Walmart fine? Cuz if you sending me to the cab, they could do a whole different screening. So, what am I doing? Do I have to go to court for this? No, she can't go into Walmart. >> Oh, yeah. >> So, why am I getting arrested? >> Criminal trespass. >> Criminal trespass. >> I never trespass. >> Hold on. You got to listen. You want He's going to answer your question. You got to listen to him. >> I wanted the cash. >> Listen. Listen. >> Shoplift. >> But I didn't steal any items. If you came and got me, you could have gave me a warning. Hey, >> you don't get warnings. >> So, why am I getting arrested off the bag? H >> why am I getting arrested off the bat? >> $116. >> It's $116. It's not no big amount. So I'm like, >> can I get charged at Walmart? Not the cat. That's a whole different screen. I didn't even steal. You got the bag and got all the stuff out. >> It was time to head to the squad car. But incredibly, despite all the explanations they gave her, she still couldn't accept she was being arrested because it was her first time stealing. She then came up with one last attempt to claim her innocence. >> I need help. Walmart. I didn't even get any of the items. He took the item. >> Mhm. >> He literally took them. So, where am I supposed to be going? [music] How can I get out? >> You'll find that out when you get to the trail. Okay. >> I don't want to go to jail. Nobody wants to go to jail, but here we are. >> They charged the young woman with theft by shoplifting and she was then taken to Decal County Jail. Things might have seemed harsh to her, but maybe she might think twice before breaking the law in the future. Get ready for this next excuse because this one is even more unbelievable. On the 2nd of August 2023, the cops were called to a Target store about a woman named Robin. The cops got the woman's details and then explained the reports they had that she was trying to leave the store with stolen items. >> So, it was brought to our attention that you purchased um food, but you had other items that you were leaving with. >> I wasn't leaving. I hadn't walked out the store yet. >> Cuz you saw us. >> No, on camera. That's what it looks like. >> Well, that's not what happened. >> Okay. It doesn't look like The Red Bull is on here either. >> Mhm. I scanned the Red Bull. Do you have your receipt? >> I know. I scanned the Red Bull. It was the first thing I scanned. >> Okay. >> He had a different another receipt, too, that had printed. I guess it printed up two different times. >> Can I see your receipt? >> The cops checked the woman's receipts and explained to Robin what the problem was. She was leaving the store and it already passed all points of sale. Her excuse was she was headed to the bathroom, but that's not how it looked on camera. They explained to the woman that she'd be trespassed from the store. >> I'm not seeing other I mean >> I know that was I was going to come over. >> You go what you customer service? >> Why would you go to customer service? That means >> because I need to return something. >> You need to return something. >> Okay. This doesn't make any sense. Usually when you do returns, you do it in your first year. >> No, a lot of them have to go out what I wanted. >> What are you returning it? >> That's how I always did it. >> What's your What are you returning? >> Well, I already had grabbed it with the um the filter. >> So, you already returned it? >> Well, I gave it to them to hold on to. >> So, if I go ask them, they're going to confirm that. >> I don't know. It's a different. >> It's pretty convenient. Robin asked if she could take some stuff to her kids, but the officers asked her to wait while they checked out her details. They noticed a backpack in her cart that she'd filled with items. And like everything else she'd done so far, she had an excuse for it that was truly out of this world. >> Is this your backpack in here? >> Don't Don't pick your stuff out of the cart. >> Just wait. I told you you're not going anywhere until we confirm your information. So, you might as well just put it down. >> Is this your backpack in the cart? Who says it? >> Target. >> Did you pay for it? >> You did? >> No. >> So, what were you going to do with all of that stuff? >> Put it down. >> Yeah. Why would you put it inside the backpack? >> Because it was too full. >> People usually don't shop like that. >> I didn't have room in my cart. If you saw me, >> not a normal way of shopping. >> If you saw before, I didn't have room in my cart. >> There there's plenty of room. >> Yeah. >> We understand that we shop, too. We know how to fill a cart. We know how to do this. Like, so the things that you're telling us, we know how to return items. None of that makes sense for a reasonable person. I guess I I guess so because loading a backpack up of stuff that you're going to walk out with. You saw us looking at you over here as lost adventure is talking to us. So you decided to walk this way. See if maybe you can just get by us. Like maybe we wouldn't notice. >> Maybe by chance we weren't talking about you. >> Am I stupid to do that? >> Of course you saw me. >> Robin stuck to her story that she was heading to customer service when she was stopped by police. She then had a string of new excuses about why she took the route she did. And as you might have guessed by now, the story she was telling was pretty darn flimsy. >> And I also want to just get a Starbucks. >> You You weren't going to use EBT for the Starbucks drink. >> All you have to do Starbucks. >> I know what I didn't use. So, what were you going to do with that stuff? >> Put it here. Ask them to hold on to it for me. >> I'm waiting for my sister to get here. >> When is your sister supposed to get her? >> The cops here were not buying her story. It was clear from security footage and the way she was behaving that she had no intention whatsoever of paying for the backpack and the items inside it. >> Um, go ahead and put your stuff down. >> Why? >> Put your Put your drink in there. >> Why? >> Take this off. >> Why? What are you going to do? >> I'm going to arrest you for shopping. >> I'm not shopping. >> Do not resist. Do you want an extra charge of resisting? Then you can continue. >> Do not resist. >> Bab, do not resist. >> That's an extra charge. Resisting. There's four of us in one. >> Yeah. Setting this up just a little bit. >> Why? I wasn't shopping. >> Why are you trying to keep us from your purse? >> Come on. Stop. Stop. Stop. You're getting close. >> Stop it. >> Hey. >> Huh? >> Yeah. It's on It's on the Stop, man. >> Oh, you guys are >> We're not here to hurt you. >> Let me go. I wasn't shoplifting. I didn't walk out of the store with it. >> She continued resisting arrest, but the cops had her pinned down so tight, she wasn't going anywhere. Eventually, the cops got her sitting upright and she was taken into custody. >> I wasn't even shocked that scene. Okay. Well, you can you can talk about that in court. Okay. >> Stop trying to take these cuffs off. >> Ow. >> Good. Ready? One. You got to get up on three. Okay. Can you take her first? Let's take it to the front of the unit. Check anything. You think that's going to focus us? >> Yeah. With the woman safely secured, the cops went to talk to one of the employees. He told the cops what he'd seen and that it wasn't the first time she'd been caught stealing. >> So, where did she get to? >> She made it all the way. >> You guys were walking up right here. >> Uhhuh. >> I'm surprised you guys didn't see her. She was right here. Made it out the So, that's This is where I stopped here. I was like, "Let me see your seat. Let me see your receipt." And then you guys came out in the corner and she's like, "Nope, I paid for it." And I was, "There's coffee right there. I'm not going to play this game with you." So, >> and then that's when did she walk like around this way? >> Well, she went right back. She's like, "Let me show you. Let me show you. I didn't print out a receipt. I paid for it all." I was like, "No, you didn't. Let's go get a receipt then real quick so we can make sure." Went back and that's what she's like, "Don't do this. Don't do this." Then she's a repeat vendor. I'm a manager with right here. Have both of them I've been at and I've stopped her before doing the same damn thing. She'll pay with her food stamps for the food items and push out $500 in other items. So, repeat offender. I already knew she wasn't recommended as soon as I walked out here. So, >> she could claim she was innocent all she wanted, but the evidence here in the witness statements pointed right to the same crime. They charged the woman with shoplifting and resisting arrest. On April 27th, 2024, the cops got reports of a shoplifting incident at a Dillard store. When the cops arrived on scene, the suspect here, a female, was already attempting to leave. >> Hey sir, can you open your door? >> Can you put your car in park and take the keys out? >> Put the car. Can I see the keys? >> Yeah, I do. >> Thank you. Step out the car. Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> No. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> No. Can I just give it to you? >> Turn around. Put your hands. >> No, ma'am. Can you just read me my rights, please? >> I ask you one time. Turn around. >> Are you taking me to jail? >> Yes, you be the T. >> No, I'm not. Hey, woman of the union ambassador. Turn around now. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can't be used. >> Your right to talk to lawyer. You cannot to hire your lawyer to represent you and anytime you exercise your rights and ask question. You understand your rights. Do you understand your rights? >> Yes, ma'am. >> The merchandise that you took out the store, where is it? I can hear the corner. >> Where is it? >> In that dealer's bag. >> The officer retrieved the bag of stolen goods and asked the suspect if there was anything else in the car. After the driver and the suspect confirmed there wasn't, the cop put the suspect in the back of a squad car and then went on to talk to the driver. >> You have anything on you? I should know. >> No, go through everything. I got no drugs, no alcohol. >> I'm not trying to fill you up. I'm paying you. >> Fill me up. I don't care. >> Can Let me talk. >> Yes, ma'am. >> I'm going to put my thumb in the middle of your bra and I'm going to pull it away from your body. Do you understand? Yes, ma'am. Pull it. Pull it. >> Have a seat. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Sir, I honestly really don't know. >> You have what I do on you? >> I I don't know even know what happened. >> So, you in the military? >> I don't I honestly don't know what happened. She just told me the opposite way. I really swear to God. I'm not. >> So, when I was walking up to you, you was going >> I was going your way and then she said, "Go the other way." And I was just yelling at her like, "What the is going on? Can you tell me what's going on? >> She stole. She's under arrest. >> Can I uh give her my so she can call me? Are you taking her downtown? >> Yes, I am. >> Can I uh write my >> You got a driver's license? >> Uh I lost it. I just have that. >> Can I go inside uh where she was at? >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Convinced the driver had done nothing wrong, the officer let him go. She then drove back to Dillards with the suspect in the back seat. The suspect started telling a very sobb story, saying she had a lot of problems and that her brother had just from an overdose. She then started talking about her work. >> I take care of a handicap man and I have to go to work tomorrow. They pay me 17 bucks an hour. It's the first job I've had in a long time. I've been so depressed about my brother. I swear to God. Please don't care. Huh? >> I said I don't care. just let me go home. I'll never do it again. I won't even ever go back to the mall. >> No, you not go to jail. That's crazy how you want to walk. I actually put his mic. First of all, this a cake. I walked into the car. The man was coming towards my way. He back up some more around me. Right. I get you out of the car. I actually put your life back. Then there was to get tased and I had to turn you around. That's crazy. >> I've never been arrested. I didn't know what the hell I could do. Honestly, I don't know what I'm supposed to I was like, maybe I can maybe I can refuse this. I don't know. >> There that was that was that was >> I was Okay. Well, I was scared. >> Yeah, that was definitely resistant. That's an extra charge. >> I'll never come back. You can look at my brother's just happened. All I was trying to do is get out my head and do something right. I haven't had money in a while. I've been grieving and I finally got a job and I work tomorrow. I can't be in jail tonight. You can look at my dog too and my record, my background, everything. I've never been arrested. >> After parking at the Dillard store, the officer searched the suspect's purse, looking for ID. The suspect said there was no driver's license because she had LA wallet, which is an app in Louisiana that basically is a digital driver's license. So instead, she gave the officer her code, telling her to call one of her family members or her attorney. >> I need to call an attorney or or my father. Please just give me Yes. Yes. Whatever that means. Revoke them. Whatever it is, the rights or whatever. >> Basically, that means that you you don't want me to question you. >> Oh, I don't I don't You can ask me anything. You can have everything. I just need to call somebody. >> Be quiet. >> And I have an attorney. His name's Danny. >> And then I have And then I have >> She's taking me to jail. >> She's taking me to jail. >> She might give you so much. >> All right. So, the the paper she read to you, you want to sign it. Okay. >> So far, the suspect seemed cooperative and signed the paperwork like she was asked. She was then taken to the station. When they got there, that's when she really started showing her true colors. >> See you back. Thank you so much. >> Walk out. Little bit more. Turn your body, please. >> Are you I'm supposed to be talking to. >> I'm sorry. >> You're not the lady I'm supposed to be talking to. >> This lady won't talk to me at all. >> When she brings you in >> Okay, thank you. Can you please hurry cuz this girl will not talk to me. >> Oh, you know, wait till she's finished. >> While they were handling the paperwork, the suspect started asking one of the officers just how long they'd be detaining her. She made more accusations and the arresting officer stopped talking to her. Then when the second officer went away, she had an absolute meltdown. Oh man, what the GET THAT GIRL BACK. Please get that girl back. Who is she? Please go get her. Hello. Hello. Come back. Can she Can I talk to her through this video camera right here? Ma'am, does that camera work? What is wrong with this run? This one cop I got the worst one, dude. >> Ma'am, [snorts] can you just tell me how much longer you think I'm going to be in this like tight position cuz my wrists are I'm losing circulation. How about you help me with that? Is it going to be 20 minutes? Is it going to be 45? Is it an hour? >> Please get her back. >> Are we done with you? Clear with that other thing. >> How long am I going to be right here? >> It hurts still. >> Can I call my attorney, please? I want to revoke my invoke my rights. >> Did you hear me? Did you hear me? >> I would like to invoke my rights. Why can't I do that? Why? All of a sudden, I'm the only person that can't have can't invoke my rights. >> Shut up. >> Already in full-on Karen mode, the officer was trying to get her to shut up, but she didn't take notice. The officer maintained her nononsense attitude while the suspect continued her tantrum. Then suddenly, the suspect's attitude took a very strange turn. >> Please get this girl back in here. What is her name? You're the only nice one. >> Is it going to be 2 hours OR 3 HOURS? JUST TELL ME. Why won't you TELL ME? WHY? WHY DO YOU HATE ME, DUDE? I mean, I didn't do you. >> Do you have children? You musting not, dude. You musting not. Oh my god. You must not. >> God forgive you, dude. God forgive this woman. Jesus Christ. God forgive her. HOW MANY HOURS [screaming] THERE? >> MA'AM, MA'AM, tell me how many hours should I lay out and close my eyes? After asking God to forgive the officer like she was the one in the wrong, the suspect then called out to a male officer, asking the man how long she'd be detained. The woman's opinion of the arresting officer appeared to be getting steadily more twisted as she called the officer evil for ignoring her antics. She eventually decided to lie down. Can I get out this way? Can I do it? Put him in the front. You sure? Is that going to be some charge you going to hit me with if I do that? Or if I can't do it, can I do it? >> I said no. >> Can you just situate my arms so that I can lay down? if I'm going to be hereing midnight. Can you just help me situate my arms so I can like close my eyes cuz I'm in so much like my throat hurts. I'm nauseated. I'm distressed. Like help me just lay down or something. I can't get him back up. What? >> The suspect here still seemed to be struggling to wrap her head around things and still had the impression someone was coming to help her and that she was in a position to make demands. She'd soon be learning that wasn't the case. >> I'm not trying. You can come buckle back. Okay. I just can't. I'm stuck. You can go put him back to >> Are you here to help me? >> Am I here to help you? >> Yes. >> Are you not the one that's here to help me? >> I I don't know what you need help with. >> Oh, she won't tell me anything. She won't talk to me. >> Well, you're under arrest for theft and resisting an officer if that's your question. >> I did hardly resist. >> Did you steal? >> I did. I Okay. Well, then that's why you're at jail. I don't know what help you're looking for, though. >> No, because they said that they were gonna put me in booking. >> Yeah, you're gonna jail. Yes. >> Yeah. I mean, but where are they? >> Well, that's what is about to happen. >> Where are they? >> Are they busy with the >> Oh, this. Thank you so much. >> Walk to that door. Can you wipe my tears? >> No, >> you can't wipe my tears. >> No. Can you wipe my nose? >> No. [snorts] >> Stay right there. Face it. Keep staying just like this. >> They charged the woman with resisting an officer and also theft. Maybe this time in jail would give her the reality check she clearly needed. And it might help her see that childish behavior get you absolutely nowhere. On the 4th of January 2024, a man came in to a racetrack gas station, helped himself to whatever he wanted, and left the store without paying. He came back the next morning and did the same thing again. So, the cops were called to trespass him. >> Excuse me. Hey, you all right? All right. Hey, listen. I'm Deputy Con County Sheriff's Office. All right. They just don't want you in here, okay? You understand me? Um, they do just want you trespassed. They did say that you did take some stuff, but they don't want you obviously to go to jail for anything like that, but they did want you trespassed. Okay. So, all we're going to do is I'm going to get your info, give you a piece of paper, huh? You got your ID on you? How's it going? You got your ID on you. Listen, I'm not here to cause you any issues, okay? They just say you sold some merchandise. They do want you trespass. All we're going to do is get your info, give you the piece of paper, you're out of here. >> The suspect just sat there and was ignoring the officer. He got to his feet and the officer checked where backup was as the suspect seemed uncooperative. Unbelievably, the suspect then tried to leave. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hey, listen. You can record all you want. Okay. You're not free to leave. All right. Got your ID on you or no? Do you do you understand me? Do you speak English? >> What's the issue? >> Yes. >> They said you stole merchandise. They want you trespassed. I'm doing an investigation right now. an investigation for why they said they don't want to press charges >> because you still stole merchandise and they want you trespassing >> and they said they don't want to press charges. What kind of investigation are you doing? >> It's still an investigation. What are you not understanding? I've already told you. >> No trespassers are being charged. Why am I being >> I am going to issue you the trespass. I don't understand what's so difficult about that. >> Do you understand what I'm saying or no? I'm sitting here trying to work with you. I've been straight up. I've been cool. I've been chill with you. You're the one who's ignoring me and not working with me. >> This speaks pretty clearly. >> Exactly. And you're just not listening to me. >> Would you rather go to jail? Would you rather go to jail or no? >> I don't know. As long as you don't pull a gun on me, I really don't care. A lot of them have decided to pull guns on me for no reason. So, >> and I haven't done anything like that. All I've done is come up to you, hey, introduce myself, told you what's going on at this point because one of you guys have already decided to pull guns on me. So, I really don't give a ain't even been near my gun at all. >> It was clear the suspect had a problem with the cops. The officer here remained calm and professional and gave the suspect a chance to hand over his ID. However, the suspect still wouldn't cooperate because Racetrack wasn't pressing charges. Having no choices left, the officer moved in to detain him. >> Put your phone down. >> Don't resist or anything. Take your backpack off. >> Yeah, I know. And you're not listening to me. No, you're not. I've given you multiple commands. >> I just wanted to know why I >> told you four different times. Okay. You're not listening. >> This is This is the problem with people. >> My phone's gone live. I would like it to be recording. >> Yes. It's recording. Everything's recording. Yes. I I >> turn the screen. I would like my phone to be recording. >> That's fine. Everything is recording right now. >> Putting your phone back with your stuff. I [snorts] don't get how you get to my video. >> As if things couldn't get any weirder, the suspect here started talking nonsense. He was asked again for ID and the cops explained they needed it to carry out the trespass order. The man just responded with additional claims that the cops pulled guns on him and kept denying him his rights. >> You know, another one of you guys is people who wears a badge told me I don't have first amendment rights in America. So I've lost a lot of respect for a lot of you when you're understand when I came here. >> So was that me or him? [snorts] >> I wasn't here for that. >> You guys are trying to deescalate, right? American citizens here for one person. You know how ridiculous that is? >> Hold on. Hold on. Technically, I'm here. >> Okay. >> Oh, you guys just trying to plant that. >> You guys are really good at planting seeds, aren't you? >> Sir. >> Yeah. >> Sir. >> Sir. >> And I still feel like this. Can you take your arm off me if he's on the [clears throat] call? >> Hello, sir. Can you help me please? >> I want you know he's pulling on my arm. >> Okay, well you're detained. Okay. >> While he didn't show ID, he told the cops he had a hospital band on his arm and after pulling up his sleeve, they were able to confirm it. An officer then talked to the racetrack employee who' witnessed the man stealing. >> Um, do we know exactly like about what he stole? leg. >> Oh yeah. And [laughter] >> there is a container over there with the hot dog would have been in. [snorts] >> Okay. Um, and y'all do not want to press charges on on the on the merchandise or anything. >> Yeah, I mean, if you want to just confirm that before we go. I mean, obviously he's being very difficult. I told him originally y'all didn't want to, but I don't want to trespass. Yeah, I got you. I told him straight up. I was like, dude, just he wouldn't be wouldn't give me his name. I'm like, dude, I just need your name to fill out the paperwork and obviously this [clears throat] is where we're at now. >> The employee reiterated that Racetrack didn't want to press charges. So, if the suspect just gave his information and the cops finished the trespass process, they could all go their separate ways. But instead of giving the cops his name, instead he started name dropping. >> You guys have a reason for turning off my camera and violating my first amendment rights. I wonder which investigation goes better considering >> you have pitched Elon Musk on Twitter. I'm friends with Steve who has talked to the president of the United States formerly >> etc. What's your what's a good phone number for you? plenty of them. Leave your phone number. >> It's just a simple request, sir. >> I'm not here to escalate anything. I'm here to deescalate. We're here to handle a situation. They want you trespassed. >> We have We have to come out. We have to do our jobs. >> Violating my First Amendment rights is not part of anyone here's job description. >> You guys swore to protect and serve the US citizen. So, why are my First Amendment rights being violated by you guys turning off my camera? >> The suspect continued whining, saying they were violating his rights by turning off his camera. The female officer pointed out that he had no right to steal from the store, but the suspect here had an even weirder claim up his sleeve. >> It wasn't for you guys breaking my spine, I wouldn't have to steal to survive anyways. >> I don't know what you're talking to pretty soon anyways. I have no idea what you're talking about, sir. >> My phone was still recording. My people on the other end of that line would know how much I owe. So, the fact that you guys turned off my First Amendment rights in my phone is very >> That's fine. Listen, it's a criminal investigation. It's ongoing. We have We have cameras up for y'all right now. >> We have cameras that are recording, too. And you >> regardless, turning off mine was a violation of the First Amendment. >> No, it wasn't. If I turn mine off during this investigation, then it is >> No, I say that clear. It wasn't. Do you want to go over the laws right now? >> Not right now. While we're doing this whole investigation, I've already explained everything. >> Especially when your guys at the, you know, county or jail or whatever have told me to my face that I don't have first amendment rights in a free country. >> Not right now. >> That is some Nazi bag. Despite the man's outlandish accusations, the officer kept his composure and explained to the man that his behavior was only stacking up more charges like disturbing the peace. But the man didn't seem to care and escalated his nonsense even further. >> Racism here is down to the architecture. >> No one has brought up race or anything like that. >> Racism is down to the architecture. Have you seen the crosswalk? >> The what? crosswalk sign. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> You're talking about [snorts] the figure that's painted black on the crosswalk signs. >> Well, I mean on crosswalk side it has a white man crossing the road and it has a red hand to say stop and then on another side there is a red cancelling sign through a black man. >> Okay, >> that's the first time. >> That's kind of architecturally racist, don't you think? >> I think you're looking way too much into that. Am I? >> I think you are. That's the first time. That's the first time I've heard anyone >> I literally racism. >> That's the first time I've heard that they're investigating. >> Whoa. Look at those like Scooby-Doo cartoons, etc. You ever done names backwards? Why? Why dirt? No. What is that? What do you mean? >> It's so black and white that shows literally had to hide it inside of the >> You're talking about Scooby-Doo that Nazism is in America. >> After the suspect went from name dropping Elon Musk to explaining Scooby-Doo, the cops had heard enough. After they read him as Miranda writes, he was placed in a squad car, but he was taken to jail. Oh no, now I got to get another face tattoo cuz they're violating my rights again. Oh no. Actually, if this charge is deserved, I probably won't get another face tattoo. I wonder if the time's deserved if I already did 70 days wrongfully. And I mean, at the end of the day, if all my time was served in Valuchia County, they could say all kinds of on me, couldn't they? Oh my god, it's almost like I have to serve more time. This country's [ __ ] corrupt. They charged the man with shoplifting, obstructing law enforcement without violence, and finally, petty theft. All these charges could have been easily avoided if he'd simply cooperated with law enforcement. Some of these thieves just never learned. One such crook was called shoplifting at Walmart just one month after she was last arrested. So, the reason we have you in here today is this OC. >> Is this OC? >> What's that mean? >> Organized retail crime? >> I don't know. >> Are you boosting for anyone? >> Oh, no. No. I just I just I just got my first apartment. And >> what's your middle name? >> It's my my dad's initial M. >> Okay. >> I know I know you're an officer and I know you can extend courtesy and I know I made a mistake, but please please don't send me to county. I I'll go to court. I'll do community service. I'll pay the friends. I [music] know I up. If you guys need to put me on a on a payment plan that I need to come here and pay everything, I'll do whatever. Just please don't send me to county. I've never been to jail and I just can't go to county. I can't do that to my parents. I don't want to tell them. >> Okay. >> They'd be embarrassed. >> Well, you should have saw your parents. Sorry. >> I messed up. I know. My aunt's an NYPD officer. So, if you didn't extend any courtesy for me and just not take me to jail, I'll deal with every other consequence that I have to deal with. >> Maybe you've done this before. >> Um I did it once. Yeah. at I think Target. >> Were you arrested for it? >> No. >> And another Walmart? >> No. Walmart? I never got arrested for it. And it was not above like $300 >> a month ago. >> Yeah. >> The suspect said that after a previous incident at Walmart, she'd been taken to jail in Oklahoma City, was taken into court where the case had been dropped to disorderly conduct. The officer explained to her that if she had a conviction in the last 10 years, she'd be going to jail. Like I have to go to jail. >> I feel like if it's more than $900, I have to go to jail. I will You can >> If you don't have a conviction, then you're not going to do that. But >> um I don't I don't think I don't have a I don't think I have a conviction. >> Well, then you're not you're probably not. >> But if I do have a conviction, can you take me on me? >> No. >> How will you know if I have a conviction or not? >> We're looking up. >> And there's no there's no courtesy you can extend for me to not >> Absolutely not. You're stealing. >> I know. I know. People make dumb mistakes. Well, there's consequences for when we make bad decisions, right? >> And I'll make up for them in any other way. Just I don't want to go to I don't want to hear I don't want to go to jail. I don't want to hear. >> Do you have a total yet? >> That's the last case number from a month ago. >> Did it say the amount on that one? >> This one was 31576. >> The suspect plead with the officer to not take her to jail, saying she was already working on becoming a better person. But given it had only been a month since her last arrest, it was pretty hard to believe the woman's promise of self-improvement. >> I know it's when when you when you don't have money and you're trying to make ends meet, you're just you don't know what to do. >> Okay. I know a lot of people that don't have money that make ends meet without ceiling. >> I know. I know. And and if my phone turns back on, like my lawyer made me make an appointment with my therapist and sit with them to like I can show you all of that and like I'm a good person. I'm an honor student. I can show you that. Like this is just my first time living alone and I Bro, I know I I'm being stupid. You can do anything. Just don't take me to jail, please. >> You can give me a fine. I'll do community service. I'll do anything. >> So, you are going to be trespassed from all hearts. You guys did it literally a month ago. >> Is that forever? >> Um, it's for 2 years. The suspect then tried a different tactic and asked the officer if she could pay back some of what she'd stolen after starting her new job at a local pharmacy. Sadly for her though, the cop said it wasn't up to him. Moments later, a Walmart employee came in, receipt in hand. >> How much was it? >> 750. [snorts] >> Okay. Was it a,000? >> Was it 750? >> $7.50. >> Oh no. 750. 750. >> Okay. So it wasn't a,000. Okay. >> So the the 750 is the total amount that she took. Is that right? >> So, I think you're going to take me to jail. >> 750 is not looking good. >> It's not a,000. So, please >> I'm just saying you're pretty That's pretty close. >> I know. I know. >> It wasn't like in in the stuff about you being broker that >> No, I know. I know. I know. >> You're You're taking rugs and >> I know I'm just taking house stuff like a vacuum, a mop like, >> you know, and I know 750 is not, you know, it's not it's not a thousand. So, if you can just give me that cuz it's not a thousand. Please just extend any kind of courtesy you can't. >> It's not about courtesy. >> I know, but you said a thousand. It's not >> said a thousand is a felony. We arrest people a lot of times for something that's not a felony. >> Okay. >> The cop was having trouble finding the suspect in the system. Turns out she'd given the officer a fake name. When he explained she'd be heading to county and laid out exactly why, she still seemed to believe she could talk her way out of it. >> So, deal. Um, >> are you giving me a false info? Okay. >> No, I didn't give you false. >> That could be an additional charge. Okay. >> Wait, but I gave you I gave you the correct spelling of both names, though. >> Bottom line is $691 worth of stuff. You're going to county. Okay. >> Okay. No, you've done this multiple times. You obvious you just got arrested for it a month ago and you just did it again, which shows us that you have absolutely no contrition for what you did. I know >> you weren't stealing essential items. >> You were stealing a vacuum, a broom. >> We're not talking about it. >> You're going to jail. Okay. >> But can I say something? My My lawyer My lawyer told me that if it's not if it's below $500 that I don't have to go to jail. >> Your lawyer doesn't make this. >> Okay. I'm sorry. I don't I don't mean to offend you or anything, but >> please, officer, I I I I know you want I know you want to take me to county. I know you do, but please >> Why would I want to do that? >> Because you're doing your job, and I and I respect that. And I respect that. But I also know I also know if I don't know like how this like there's someone ringed above you or anything. If he was able to give me a chance, he would give me a chance. Oh, can you give me can you give me that chance? >> In a very nice gesture, Walmart would allow the suspect to keep her car in the parking lot. While this meant the cops wouldn't have to impound it, the suspect would have to call someone to pick it up because of her trespass. When it came to the items she'd paid for, again, Walmart was pretty lenient. >> [music] >> We're going to refund the items that you paid for. So, they're going to take care of that. >> Is Can I keep the items or No, >> I mean, you're going to jail. You're not going to be allowed to have them there >> because I just like I put put them in my car key cuz I'll took my car key with me. >> You did get what you actually paid for. >> Yeah. So, I think they're cutting you break by giving me a refund. >> Okay. Can I Can I say one thing without you hating me? I know you already hate me right now. >> I don't hate you. >> I know. If you have You might have kids. You might not have kids. We're not we're not going to keep if if you could just extend the courtesy for me if your kids made a mistake. Please don't do this to me. >> I'll hurt anybody. >> It'll break my parents heart. Officer, please. Please give me a chance. Please. >> Um yeah, we should be good to go. >> Officer, please. My aunt's an NYPD officer and she tells me she sends courtesy to people all the time because >> Okay. I I would really appreciate if you stop said courtesy cuz it's not a courtesy. You just stole $600 worth of finance. >> I know. And I made a mistake and I'm aware of it and and I want you to know I'm aware of it and I and I will whatever you want me to do, I will show you changes actively. I will I will do it. Please. >> We should be good to go. >> The woman's pleading got her nowhere. They charged the woman with larseny of merchandise. But despite all of her crying and her promises that she was working on her mistakes, just a few months later, she was again called shoplifting. And that time they charged the woman with grand lararseny. On the 10th of January 2023, the cops responded to a shoplifting report at a Target store. While the suspect had left already, the store employees gave a clear description of the woman as well as her vehicle. It didn't take long for the cops to find the car and pull her over for questioning. >> Hello, how are you? Sheriff's Office. I'll stop you because this vehicle uh was possibly involved in a shoplifting from Target. So they find the description very well of the vehicle and uh description of you know you. So uh do you have your driver's license with you? >> Yeah. I don't All right. Thanks. Yeah. So I mean you essentially know what I know right now. I mean there's a deputy there that has confirmed it. Um, and they're trying to get all the details hashed out, but um, they provided a very clear description of a vehicle which matches this description and almost an identical tag number. So, um, you know, just uh, hang out. Okay. You don't have any weapons in the vehicle or anything. Okay. All right. I'll be right back. >> In the back of the suspect's car, there were lots of Lego boxes worth about $1,100. Also, they found a pipe in the car. And the suspect here did not have a medical card. She continued denying stealing anything from the store. >> That looks like you. Looks a lot like you. >> So, we're going to do a show up and uh the deputy is going to bring by the witness that we have and they're going to say whether or not that they what whatever they observed was uh you or not. >> I didn't take anything from you. Well, I mean, uh, according to them, we passed all lines of sale, got out of the store, >> and they recovered the property outside the outside the, uh, doors. >> Oh, it's not outside. You can see >> Okay. It sounds to me that you have kind of an issue with this stuff, you know, and maybe you should get some help, you know, cuz this isn't the way to be. Even though she denied stealing anything, the suspect did admit she was going through a rough time. It was explained to her by the investigating officer why shoplifting is such a problem and the wider consequences it has on society as a whole. Some people that do shopping can do it for the thrill or or they're on hard times, >> but you know, uh it may seem like not a big deal to you, but the the those big corporations, they just write it off and they end up raising the prices of everything else. So the people who work their butt off to pay for stuff like me, I end up having to pay more for stuff like that. You know what I mean? my shoplifting bill or shop shopping bill is more because of theft. I don't think it's fair, you know. >> The suspect asked if she could just get a notice instead of going to jail. In response, they asked the woman if the other county she'd been caught in had given her a notice to appear, and she was also asked if she'd been pulled over before. She admitted to a similar incident in another county and that incident took place, as you might have guessed, at another Target. >> So, you're going through some tough times. That's kind of why you're getting caught up in this stuff. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Like financially difficult times. >> Yeah. together. >> So, are you I mean, are you having to are you having to shoplift to provide for your needs? That kind of deal, >> huh? Basically, >> I'm >> Oh, okay. I see what you're saying. Well, I'm just trying to get like where you're coming from and what's going on. But why? >> I'm not a bad person. I I will go and pay for all of that. >> Yeah, >> I will. >> Well, I mean, I don't think a single deputy here thinks you're a bad person, but >> yeah, >> you know, a lot of times there's a there's a story behind there's a reason >> and that makes a difference. You know, >> I know I don't have the like I know my mom would help me by paying for all these things. >> Yeah. you know, I I would do that and then and then also where I just like I really don't want to. >> The suspect admitted she was aware that she was not supposed to have the and she figured that's why she was being arrested. The cops clarified, however, that it was actually for felony shoplifting. Surprisingly, she doubled down again and confidently denied stealing. over a pel amount. I mean felony amount of product that you admitted to taking from Target. >> I didn't take anything from Target. >> So I guess explain to me like so I mean you had these items and um according you know it's your word versus theirs, right? Because they're saying something. Explain to me what happened. How how did it all go go down? >> I was pushing a car out of a store and they said they stopped me and I just walked away. >> Where did they stop you? in the in the vest. The door master. >> Um, you mean like the main doors to the store? >> All right. So, so you didn't you didn't uh you weren't like in the parking lot going to your but you were heading out and they stopped you before you could get out. >> Yeah. >> What's that? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um, so you had passed the registers, you were walking out, but they stopped you before you actually got in the parking lot, >> I guess. Yes, >> that makes more sense. >> The officer searched her car and found brand new shoes with no tags and interestingly blank till rolls from both Target and Walmart. They asked the suspect why she stole the items and she claimed to have fallen on hard times. >> What were you going to do? I mean, it's it's toys. You just going to like eBay it or something? >> Yeah. Is that what you've had to do in the past to to make ends meet? >> I mean, this is, you know, how this snowballs, this gets worse, you know, if you're doing it to make to make ends meet, you're making things much harder. >> I I'm trying to get a job on Indeed. I'm just like haven't been able to I haven't stayed, you know, >> you have kids and all that. >> No, I don't even have a place to stay. My husband, that's not a place. [snorts] >> Gotcha. >> Like I should my driving license. I have a black eye >> on my driving. >> I I didn't see that. >> You have a black eye now. You're saying? >> No, my driving license. It was like two weeks ago. >> Gotcha. No one else inside your car, right? >> No. >> Are you living out of your vehicle? >> I mean, somewhat. Yeah. >> Where have you been staying? >> I was on my way to my mom's lake house and interlocking. That's kind of where I'm staying. There's not a lot of room at her house. >> After getting the suspect's side of the story, the cops proceeded with their arrest. While she claimed to have some broken fingers, she was being cooperative. As they put her in handcuffs, they were careful not to hurt the woman and walked her over to their car. I mean, you've been doing this for a while now, right? I mean, I I heard the the record and the warrants and stuff with with outside agencies and stuff and >> well, so that's why he the other deputy was talking about was uh you know this has been happening I guess in other counties and stuff like that. >> No. Okay. >> Are there other counties? warrants. >> Yes, you actually have two. One's been confirmed out of her car. The other one's waiting for confirmation in Orange County. Both for ground. >> A female officer arrived on scene to search the woman and the suspect remained cooperative. After patting her down, she was placed in the back of the arresting officer's car where it was strangely cramped. >> This is your phone, right? >> Yeah. All right. Corp said, uh, leave it on. >> So, why leave it on? >> Uh, so they can get your information your u numbers and stuff get down there. >> Okay. >> So, in order to clear to to I have to go to those counties to get out of the to down on those warrants or like what is the deal? >> Well, like I said, like those are definitely questions for the courthouse for the judge tomorrow. I'm not sure how they want to handle that. I just know that they >> so extradition usually means they'll come get you. However, we also have local charges. >> So again, it's going to be totally a question for the judge how they handle that. >> Times might have been tough for the suspect and she might have been suffering abuse as well, but things only got a whole lot tougher for her due to what she did. They charged the woman with grand theft and she was later sentenced to 300 days in jail. The final case in this lineup is a really strange one. On the 12th of February 2025, the cops were called to an Ulta beauty store about a shoplifting in progress. When they arrived, they found the suspect in the parking lot saying she was going to buy the unpaid items that she'd already brought outside. >> Come on, let's go back in. >> Go back in inside. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. >> I can't even make my car. I'm not going to run, sir. >> I know you're not. >> I got enough money to buy all this, you know. I don't know. >> I'm going to buy you. So, could I >> The time to buy it was back there. >> Do you have a loss prevention office or anything? >> No. >> No. >> Is there anywhere we have that we can do this? Can I bring her back there or >> I asked him it sealed them. So, no. >> We're going to press charges obviously. >> Okay. Okay. Ma'am, come sit out here, please. >> Let me take this stuff out for you. Make it very easy. >> Ma'am, >> I'm taking this stuff out. Come sit. Okay. >> All right. >> No problem. >> What's that bag? Let me see. >> This I came in here with that. I only use that bag right there. >> That's fine. Thank you. >> I've been very nice to you. I didn't try to run from you or anything. >> What? >> I mean, I feel like you can give me a warning. This my first time doing >> It's not up to me. That's up to me. >> I know. But what I'm saying is I'll pay for all the stuff that I have anyway. >> Again, that's up to them. What's your phone number? Sir, he said it's up to you. I don't be want to be rude, but I know that I lost my job two months ago, and I used to come in here all the time and spend like my whole paycheck, basically. >> The suspect kept trying to convince the Ulta employee to cut her some slack, hoping he'd let her just pay for the items and leave. She acknowledged that what she'd done was wrong and that she'd learned her lesson and wouldn't do it again. But the cop here was having none of it. >> But you cannot speak to him. He's working right now. >> He just told me I can speak with him. He had no problem with that. I just don't want to lose my section name. >> I don't want to lose my housing. I have four kids. I don't lose my housing. >> Okay. So, you were about the wrong thing. >> No, I'm just trying to speak to him and see if I can buy the items instead because it's the same thing. I didn't leave the store. They got all the items. >> Are you familiar with your Miranda warnings, man? >> Yeah. >> You have the right to remain silent, not answer any questions. You understand that? >> I don't understand why you being rude and you're a man. Like, what are you being rooted for if I'm trying to buy something? >> I'm not being rude, man. You have the right to remain silent. >> I'm asking you another question. I'm asking could I speak with him because he has the authority >> at this time. You are not able to speak with him but you have the right to remain silent not answer any questions. You understand that? >> Mhm. >> Yes. >> I'm listening to what you're saying. >> I'm I need you to verbally confirm whether >> I'm handicapped. So I can't like I'm mentally physically. >> Okay. So you are physically unable. >> Okay. So you're saying you're mentally incapable of giving me a statement. >> I'm not. >> Are you or are you not capable of giving me a statement? >> I am. >> What's schizophrenic? G schizophrenic is when you hear voice >> schizophrenic. >> Oh my god. Whatever that >> may I read you your Miranda warnings and then I can talk to you. >> I don't understand them for you to be >> okay. I have you haven't let me read them. >> Okay. But I don't understand what you have the right to remain silent and I answer any questions. Do you understand that? >> I am slow. Like you can call my mom. You want to call my mom so she'll be able to translate it to me cuz I don't have my full >> Okay. So what part of that don't you understand? >> The suspect then said she had a disability and refused to give a statement on the ground she didn't understand her rights. As a result, the officer then took her name and date of birth so his colleagues could look her up on the system. Unsurprisingly, she already had a criminal record. >> Same first last name. She is unfortunate my time for that years ago. Eight years ago, >> you say you're not under arrest at this point. No, I'm going to put my glasses on so you don't break them. >> I'll show you. I'm put them on. >> What? >> Thank you. >> Long as you don't break them cuz they $700, baby. >> Okay. >> Have a seat. >> Thank you. >> You doing too much for no reason. Be a man. >> No, it did not come over 900. >> It came over $900. Okay. Just know just to let you know. >> Okay, that's fine. You need medics at any point, let me know. >> Yeah, I need medic. >> H >> I said I need medic. need to know for what before I call. >> Oh, I'm I'm feeling like I'm going to pass out. >> You feel like I'm going to pass out? >> Y'all can have a panic attack. >> Okay. All right. No problem. >> The officer assured the suspect that once they got outside, he'd call the Maddox and took the woman to his squad car. She went on complaining that he wouldn't let her talk to the Ulta employee and conveniently developed a brand new medical condition when they got to the squad car. >> Okay. I'm clasophobic. >> Claustrophobic. >> Whatever you want to. You so smart, sir. You show You so smart. You shouldn't have been a damn um Sit back. >> You I can't sit back. My hands behind my back. >> Okay. I need a I need a seat belt. >> Okay, sir. My hands is behind my back. I'm at my lowest weight. >> So, you don't want me to You don't want me to put you in the seat back? >> I ain't saying I want you put me on sit back. You said sit back. I'm sitting back. I have to reach across. >> Okay. And I'm sitting back. WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO? >> OKAY. ALL RIGHT. >> Cuz you aren't supposed to be detaining me anyways. A female officer supposed to >> I'm not supposed to do what? >> Detain me? A female officer supposed to come to search me? >> That's not true. >> That is true. But I can move in these cuffs. >> Okay. >> I don't know who you got to be a rookie. Yeah. And could you call the surgeon for me? Cuz I asked for the surgeon and I'm allowed to get the surgeon. You ain't got a man handling me because I ain't manhandling you. If I'm telling you the cuff's too small, what you pushing my airboard to the first? >> Unfortunately, I just so happen to be a man and I am handling you. But manhandling you, I'm not. >> It's bruising my arm. >> Stop moving. If you >> I'm trying to show you it's bruising my arm. >> Excuse me. >> Yeah, cuz finally somebody come out of the play and call the surgeon cuz I don't know what you got going on. You mad about mad about stealing. >> You mad about all these homicides y'all got to solve. that y'all don't solve. [laughter] >> Y'all don't be knowing what be going on around here. Y'all just be doing halfway doing I'm in that mother white Tesla right there. That's why I tried to turn to go straight to go around the other side. I'm in a white Tesla. Another standing right along with me, but y'all going to get beat. >> With the suspect secured in the back of his car, the officer went to talk to the Ulta employee. The items she'd stolen were all accounted for and the employee had an itemized receipt and also security footage. The officer took photos of the items and went back to the suspect. >> Take this stuff off of me. >> YOU YOU CAN'T TAKE NO STUFF OFF ME. YOU GOT TO BE A FEMALE OFFICER TO TOUCH ME. >> OKAY, MA'AM. >> Please call the female officer. >> Yeah, call the female officer, please. You not going to search? You not going to touch? You told me I'm going to take off my clothes. What the I look like. >> Ain't nobody said you. >> You said take off your stuff. >> Ma'am, don't you have jewelry on? >> Yeah, but you said take off your >> Don't you have jewelry on? >> My earrings ringing. I just told you it's my it's my what you call >> okay I you cannot have any loose articles on you >> right >> don't worry about don't worry about it don't worry about it don't worry about it don't worry about it >> guess what I ain't nobody so I will be out clear as day >> that's fine >> yeah what you saying you you trying to hurt a female you must ain't got no females in your life you >> my family don't steal sweetheart >> and I don't either but I ain't going to but like I said I would pay for it so that ain't stealing cuz I got the money to pay for it stealing is when you don't have the money >> okay all right no problem you proved your point >> okay yeah I'm trying to prove my point that's all I'm trying prove my points. >> Okay. >> Ro, you'll roll my one up cuz I'm not trying to argue with you, sir, and make >> No, you're not going to make me You're not going to run me. No, >> I'm not trying to run you. >> You asked me to roll it down. So, it's going to stay rolled down. >> Okay, sir. >> All right. You said you was claustrophobic. So, now your window going to stay down with the AC on. >> Okay. >> So, you don't think I'm torturing you? >> You are torturing me. >> Okay. >> The officer explained to the woman that since she was now under arrest, any loose articles she had were not allowed. But unfortunately, he didn't have a female officer to take them off. She let the officer take off her earrings, but as far as the necklace went, she insisted on taking it off herself, saying it was worth $10,000. All of a sudden, something started ringing on her person. >> Not go. Where is it? >> I need to go. >> Yes, it's inside my private port. Yeah, that's what it say. It's inside my private port. And you cannot touch my private port. Cuz if you touch my private port, y'all going to be >> Is it inside of this? >> It's in my drawers. It's in my drawers. >> Okay. So, I have to warn you that introduction of contraband to a secure facility. >> Call a female officer so she can DIG IN MY JAW. >> I just told you I do not have one. >> That ain't got anything to do with me cuz I can't go in cuz you ain't got no female officer to check me. You ain't going to stick your p your hands in my pants. >> I didn't ask you that. >> Okay. So, I don't know what else to tell you. I don't know what else to tell. >> All right. No problem. >> Thank you. >> And it's inside of your >> pants. >> You're inside of your pants or inside? >> My draws. My my draws with my pants. >> And what is >> I got on I got on board shorts and I got it in the middle of my crouch. I always put it in the middle of my crotch. So, yeah, that's where it's at. >> Is that a phone? >> No, it's not a phone. It's Apple Watch. The new Apple Watch that just came out, the black ones. >> Since the suspect claimed she had an Apple Watch somewhere in her crotch, the officer had to wait for a female officer who eventually arrived to search the woman. >> Where's your Apple Watch at? >> And my Apple Watch, that's what's ranging. My Apple Watch. >> No, but where is it? >> My Apple Watch is connected to my tag thing. You know how you find your find your devices and stuff? >> So, that's >> She asked you where is it? SHUT UP. DAMN. SHUT UP. I CAN'T EVEN TALK, MA'AM. I'M NOT TALKING TO HIM NO more cuz he is too rude. He's been rude since day one. I'm telling him my son is over there and he don't want me to let me buy the stuff from me in the store cuz he want to take somebody out of the jail so bad. >> I don't got time for him. >> Talk to me. >> Yeah, I I I'd rather GET IN THE CAR WITH YOU AND TALK to you. If I can't get in the car and talk talk with you, I don't want to be dealt with him. This man is rude. The suspect claimed that the Ulta employee was willing to let her pay for the item she'd stolen and then leave the store, but the mail officer wouldn't let her. Meanwhile, that device that was ringing was still unaccounted for, and the officer had had enough. >> The phone I'm going to give her the phone. I ain't get YOU BETTER NOT REACH BETWEEN MY MOTHER. >> HEY, I ain't going to argue with you. I don't care as long as I tell my need to tell him. And I got another phone when you ain't going to do about it. >> Mad ass. Y'all get bullied in school. That why y'all be trying to be awful. >> I'm not doing I'm not doing anything for you. I've already contacted a supervisor. They said they would be on the way to speak to you. I've already called medics for you. I've already been more It's on. Yeah, it's it's on. Yep. >> Yep. Thank you. Thank you for grabbing between my legs, >> man. Despite initially saying to the woman that he wasn't going to do anything else for her, he did allow the woman to speak to a relative on the phone. And as he made the call for the woman, she had one last shocking revelation. >> Did you put my handcuffs in the front? Cuz I am pregnant. And then I came to hold >> Put your handcuffs in the front. >> I'm pregnant. So technically they supposed to be in the front. I said, "I need you to come to the outlet. West Palm Beach outlet. My car here is at the outlet. I need you to pick King up. I need you to take King to my people, but I need you to get my car because I know that your car is not gonna make it to my people. You get what I'm saying? I already got gas. I already got everything. I let my auntie know that I'm in jail, but I'mma get I'mma b myself out. So, let her know that. Um, I already got my car information because I don't want my baby to go to DC. Come to the Listen, come to the outlet. >> I'm in the line. I'm guess >> I know what you saying. They going it's going to be sent out here for you to do it. I just need you. That place closed at 5:30. I just need you to make it before 5 5:30. I really really need you to come get my car so my so you'll be able to make it so you'll be able to make it to where you going with him because I know that your car is not going to make it. >> What made this case so strange is the fact that the suspect could clearly afford luxury items and freely admitted herself that she had money to pay for what she'd stolen. The total value of the stolen items was $978. So, they charged the woman with grand theft. From claiming to be schizophrenic to promising they'll behave better later, some of these excuses these shoplifterss use to get out of trouble are just so incredibly lame that even the cops can't believe it.
