I did not smoke marijuana universally in the car all right you're arrested for DUI have a seat what do you want me to do I want you to turn him loose I can't turn him loose Bruce who can nobody can I have one legal firearm and the in the uh right under the jacket welcome back to enforced where we show you the most shocking and controversial police footage today we're covering three cases where cops have arrested their idiot children for our first clip we take you to a Howell Township New Jersey where police officers find a knocked over traffic poll impeding traffic along with a missing piece of a white bumper witness reports help them find a white sedan with a damaged bumper at the Wawa where patrolman Vincent approaches the driver a 21 year old Teresa Lee come back from Applebee's okay how old are you 21 you're 21. my dad is um listen your Bumper's in the road over there okay did you just hit that pole no so someone brings that bumper over here it's not going to match up perfectly you're coming from Applebee's you're telling me you went out that way everything's matching up Witnesses said they saw a white car cross over in this direction and I happen to find your car parked here with no with no bumper okay all right so Theresa yes let me ask you again yeah we left Applebee's cut through the plaza you came out by Lowe's and Chick-fil-A did you hit the traffic pole that's right there do you not remember hitting a traffic not hit the traffic pole I promise so your Bumper's in the middle of the road over there and there's a pull down this this part was hanging off already because I already hit something okay when I I hit a deer in Pennsylvania because I go to school and the this part was paying off already okay do you smoke marijuana recreationally I do not smoke marijuana do you do any recreational drugs over here Teresa is already showing signs of being intoxicated and she even goes as far as saying she doesn't smoke marijuana universally Teresa to explain to you this before lying isn't going to get you anyway at least you know the truth we just caught you in Alive by Lowe's you said you should definitely fell into Pennsylvania a whole bunch of stories I hit it you see this this piece fell off at the traffic light that he hit that you knocked over Teresa has had a tough time piecing her story together and the officers can clearly tell Teresa also tries to explain the route she took to get here from the Applebee's which is also very confusing and doesn't make much sense it's safe to say the officers are on to her and they have a pretty good idea of what's going on listen are you just scared you're gonna get tickets or something yes is that all it is yeah so you want to just tell the truth I'm telling you this so went after Applebee's did you hit a traffic Pole you can't miss it it lights up it's red green and yellow okay and did you drive away because you're scared because you had maybe had one drink and you think you're drunk yeah and you might get arrested but you don't seem like you're drunk is that what's going on so you drove away because you're scared so you might get some tickets and maybe you might get arrested is that why yeah okay so now we're starting to tell the truth right so you're saying there was some damage but obviously your bumper is over there like this officer was saying okay okay this is still off because of already damaged okay but it fell off on Lanes Mill where the pole is in the middle of the road you hit the traffic signal the traffic signal fell down and you left at this point the officers have gathered enough information to lock down what really happened the officers then let Theresa call her dad and they brief him on the situation who then arrived shortly after who do you think how do you think that initial call came because she'd probably hit it and was like Dad what the [ __ ] do I do probably I would say somewhere between 10 45 and 11. that's about right hey Sergeant how are you 10 50. [Music] um right so that would probably be about the time she hit it at one time she texted me originally I was trying to get some sleep I just got off work um she said you home at 10 39 yes but yeah that's about one Paul came out yeah somewhere we got it right so she hit the thing got nervous and okay Teresa's dad does a great job over here as he gathers all the information about the incident and helps out in any way he can he confirms that Teresa hit a deer but that the damage was nowhere as severe as it is now he also doesn't get directly involved to maintain impartiality it's commendable how well Jon handles the situation and how he follows protocol patrolman Horton runs Teresa through some sobriety tests and the officers agree that she shows signs of being intoxicated after which she was placed under arrest for driving under the influence oh your dad's right over here okay sir so we have yourself all do you need anything else from inside the car anything else in there yeah that starts with this [ __ ] the car you're arrested for DUI don't have a seat Teresa is then taken to the station where her blood alcohol results showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.172 percent which is more than double the legal limit Teresa was clearly scared out of her mind throughout the incident because she knew she was drunk and had made poor decisions over poor decisions that night Teresa's dad however acted professionally and not once tried to take advantage of his position as a sheriff's officer he also did one hell of a job teaching his daughter about responsibility and accountability a lesson that's sure to help her in the future next we take you to San Juan County Utah where Kenneth Adams the county commissioner's son has a run-in with the police and gets arrested the officers at the scene deal with a situation calmly but Kenneth's dad not so much [Music] how's it going what did I do wrong okay so the reason I stopped you you didn't come to a complete stop the stop sign I did and then you didn't have your turn signal on I sure did okay I know for a fact I had my turn signal okay that's why the surprised you're pulling me over but whatever at this point this is nothing but an average police stop where the officers pulled Kenneth over because they thought he didn't properly follow the traffic rules what came next was a surprise for everyone on the scene when Deputy Wyatt ran Kenneth's ID an arrest warrant popped up let's see what happens next all right can I get you to step out of the vehicle with me what are you doing no what what's going on seriously what's going on you have a warrant do I have a warrant I don't know how you having a warrant but it's on our system right now you have an active warrant out of seven district court here in San Juan I've gone to no that's incorrect so it's on our system right now well I'm not gonna argue with you about it you're gonna go to jail tonight on that warrant okay um no I'm not I'm sure I don't excuse me like no okay this is dude this is Mr Adams you do have an active warrant for your arrest and you and well who who issued the warrant though the courts of course for what though because I've gone to court for everything there should not be an active warrant for me anywhere dude Kenneth here is actually telling the truth and he has in fact dealt with the case in court but what he doesn't know is that he forgot to turn in the documents and proof which is why the warrant was left open Kenneth eventually agrees to get out of his vehicle and is arrested by the officers he's then taken to the back of the police vehicle where he continues to question the warrant well then my question is it's huge this is a joke this is seriously the biggest joke I've ever heard of when you when you when you turned on your lights on either something issued October 13th for last year for what I had some felony charges burglary charges dude I've been to court for that no no I've been to court for that you want to know the charges yeah I do so it has two burglary charges listed a theft charge that's all my old case uh three charges of burglary of a vehicle yeah one trespass yeah what what why is that floating up now Kenneth is finally taken to jail while Deputy Wyatt stays on the scene Kenneth's dad commissioner Bruce arrives on the scene shortly after where's Kenneth he's in jail they took him Eli took him to jail they took him to jail and I stayed here with the car why Carol Warren who do I call to find out find out the warrant you're a police officer tell me who I call to find out why he's in jail Bruce demands to know why Kenneth was taken to jail even after he's been informed of the warrant Bruce continues to try and intimidate Deputy Wyatt with his influence and asks to see the warrant multiple times hey boss hey so I got Bruce Adams here um Braden took Kenneth to jail in a warrant can I show Bruce the warrant what's the protocol there yeah he's pretty mad I got to be careful with this stuff Bruce you understand that okay that's the warrant okay so it says warrant status active offense burglary burglary theft criminal mischief burglary of a vehicle burglary vehicle burglary you've been to court over that Criminal Trespass normal 7th District Court Monticello Bruce we don't have anything to do with that all we know is that the is that the warrant issues it current did the court issues a warrant that's all we know Deputy Wyatt stands his ground and follows protocol after all a warrant was out and the officers had a duty to arrest Kenneth regardless of what Kenneth or his dad had to say about it you saw the warrant right there I've been charged with that and he has a plane events on all of it what do you want me to do I want you to turn him loose I can't turn him loose Bruce who can nobody can he's been arrested for a warrant the courts can and the warrants false huh the words not false Bruce continues to try and throw his authority around and blatantly asks for the deputy to cut his son loose even after seeing the warrant you want me to sue the son of a [ __ ] County Sheriff because he arrested my kid on a false warrant the warrants right there thankfully Bruce wasn't able to throw around his power and get Kenneth free of course Kenneth was released later and the warrant was withdrawn Bruce did receive some backlash once word got out that he tried to use his power and influence to get his son released but no action was taken finally we take you to Solon Ohio where an officer tagged a vehicle going over 100 miles per hour Timothy Grafton son of Sergeant Grafton of Shaker Heights Police was behind the wheel of the car when it spun out on the side of the road allowing the officer to catch up to him where's your keys at all right give me a Keys all right where's that stuff you're going 102 miles an hour at 35. yes you were yes sir okay any reason you're going so fast okay where are you coming from I'm coming from my grandmother's house where'd your grandma live at uh Cato Maple Heights okay all right any firearms in the vehicle no sir okay okay so is this where you're going now said Circle why are you going my uh driver's license as well close your driver door I'm close your driver's door and then you spin out into the woods over here okay so you crashed over here no because you took that turn too fast cause you passed me at 102 miles an hour okay so why are you going so fast no sir um I apologize my I live right up the street I live Circle uh my name is my dad's name is Sergeant scrapton um police officer Shaker Heights Police Department I'm trying to show you my badge as well I'm sorry I'm trying to look for my badge um yeah you already gave it to me okay I'm sorry over here Tim was pulled over for going way above the speed limit and he's already been quick to throw his dad's name and position around Tim's dad is a sergeant at Shaker Heights which is a car that Tim has clearly played before at this point Tim has also stated that he has no firearms in his vehicle let's see what happens next we headed to the night yes sir I'm going home okay where you coming from I'm coming from my grandmother's house kennyville the reason for your speed today I'm sorry any valid reason for your speed today um no any valid reason for driving off the road uh as in in when I came around the corner uh my tires more so less did not give me traction I turned around I came to turn I left over here okay anything drink tonight no sir no nothing to smoke nothing anything in the car I need to know about no weapons or anything I have one legal firearm and the in the uh right under the jacket okay um it's a Mossberg 3c2 yeah okay anything on your person or just that no so you don't have to check there's you don't know if there's anything on you there's nothing woman okay how old are you I am 23 years old so it's almost your birthday yep almost okay we gotta wait easy the father is a uh Shaker Heist uh Department uh sergeant so I mean I'm trying to find my wallet for you that's okay don't reach around for it okay Tim claims he's had nothing to drink or smoke and the officer leaves it at that Tim does however reveal that he has a firearm in the car which is surprising because just a little while ago he stated that there were no firearms in his vehicle is Tim really in his senses or is he up to something let's find out do me a favor put your hands on the steering wheel for me um I'm gonna take the gun out for now just for our safety okay right under the jams up on the steering wheel right under at this point Tim is handcuffed and taken to the back of the police vehicle as the officers continue to search his vehicle I told you we didn't have one and just tucked right in between the seat and the council there he said it was under the jacket but it was over here quite a few questions are raised in this incident questions about the firearm that Tim forgot to mention at first the Edibles that were found and left unquestioned or the fact that Tim's attitude speed and driving were more than enough reason to consider a sobriety test so why were none of these issues addressed best guess so that they could let Tim off the hook with just a few tickets if they dug any deeper it would only make things more complicated with a possible DUI and arrest for the Sergeant's son
