from a cop who was humbled by his sergeant in front of the citizen he was trying to bully what is your name I'm not going to give that to you you're not going to give it to me no why would I give it to you I haven't done anything wrong to Cops who tried threatening a witness into providing evidence for them you can tell me whatever he needs to do if he needs to tell me to leave I'll leave simple as that he needs to give me a he needs to give me a warning before I before you can trespass me here are five times when evil cops got owned by their bosses starting with officer hins who got humbled in mere minutes hello what going on not much just walking around videotaping the police department is not a good idea why you guys are friendly people we are but why are we doing this why wouldn't we cuz it's a security issue for us is it it is I don't think so it is it's public property it is public property but when you start recording our perimeter and our gates and what our activities are it's a it's a concern to us this is Officer Todd Hines who approached this man named John Mitchell after seeing him around the police department the officer asked Mitchell for an ident ification but seeing as the man wasn't Bound by law to do so he refused I've only been here for about 15 minutes right we had officers that drove by and saw you pulling out of here walking out of here and said that you were recording them as they left I did yeah and that's an issue why are we doing that I don't have to have a reason you don't have a reason I don't have to have one okay do you have a driver's license I could see I don't what is your name I'm not going to give that to you you're not going to give it to me no why would I give it to you I haven't done anything wrong well you're recording our property you're recording our building sure and it's a security issue for us am I being detained you are okay until I can get you identify your reasonable I want to makeing something that's a problem for our law enforcement community so in order to detain somebody you have to have a law that you're investigating correct so which law are you what what law do you suspect me of breaking are you looking to create a problem here for us or not at all I'm being polite and cordial I'm being poite and cordial too so I'm asking so we can identify you and be on our way why would I need to identify myself cuz I'm asking you to identify yourself officer Hines was annoyingly insistent on forcing Mitchell to provide identification even after the latter had repeatedly declined to do so what's your name and badge number my name is Todd Hines my badge number is 200 okay your name and bad recording you just like you're recording okay good so okay well I mean I'd like to be on my way to go I mean you have to have you're refusing to identify yourself well there's no need to 3916 can we are you a supervisor I not okay you just called for a supervisor I did very good thank you I appreciate that yeah you bet I'm not I don't have any ill will I'm not here to hurt anybody I'm not AR problem with identifying yourself I don't need to you don't need to no it's my right to not oh so you're looking to create problems is what you're doing no you're just accusing me of that absolutely cuz you're refusing to identify yourself that's not against the law it's obstructing legal process if we have a reason to ask you what's your reason I've asked you identify you I just told you but I asked you you're recording our property to identify myself correct and I have to identify myself if you have a reasonable articulable suspicion and what is that you're looking to create problems is what you're doing is that what I'm doing by just fing and exercising My First Amendment right that is my opinion yes okay well the good thing is the law doesn't go after your opinion but it does when you're obstructing our requests you can't you you can request right but it's not a lawful order it is a lawful order at I'm not going to you know I'm not like that all right well that's fine when Hines had tried his hardest he decided to call a sergeant onto the scene thinking his Superior would have his back but he was in for a rude shock so what's the problem with identifying yourself I just don't you don't have to I just don't need to don't need to yeah I haven't broken any laws and you just said you no nobody said you broke any laws I just said that your your activity is suspicious to us okay and is that a misdemeanor or a felony listen it's a concern for our safety and our welfare and I'm not here to do were at the scene of an arrest when this man started recording in what might have been an uncomfortable but definitely legal act these cops however managed to turn it into a gruesome half hourong his name or date of birth until he talks to our supervisor so and you're probably going to end up going to jail cuz right now you're witnessing a crime well I asked to talk to a supervisor he's here so why can I speak with them because you're refusing to give your information you'll be going to jail for failure to identify as your a witness to a crime so I need to give you my so I need to give supervisor to the scene but the twist is that this supposed Superior wasn't much better than his subordinates is that what you want to do I need to speak to your supervisor is that what you want to do I need to speak to your supervisor why don't you understand you put yourself in this situation right here you see that you're on private property private or public you're on private property right now okay what does that what does that to do with the thing do you have permission to be here did the owner trespass me well he actually this guy he didn't want you here this guy actually did tell us he wanted you to leave that guy right there so what's his name so what's your point what's his what's the guy's name that don't want me here so do you want to identify yourself so we can list you as a something were to happen to where man we get into a shooting or something or a fight and somebody gets hurt then you know what I'm taking your camera cuz that's the so you got to be careful with that in theot in the future okay when you're doing this because but on that one I I'll tell you there was a shooting on Sixth Street that happened not too long ago and I help aid them catching a shooter and I have no problem with that no no no but that but that's what that's what's called it's not it's not that I want your camera because I want you to stop doing this it's just that man you you would be surprised how much what how many angles we need nowadays understand so here's and that's the point that they're trying to get it now that you're involved in here and you and you got to see from from from the beginning to the end because these guys are up to no good technically I didn't come up here um at the very beginning I came here when they were already when they were sat on the hand on the curve right there and her being handcuffed I didn't see anything come out the car all I know is I saw a drug go around the car uh I mean a dog go around the car and that was it the next thing I know I see them put things in brown bags and that's it I don't know what happened until that officer came over and told me they made arrest for Narcotics I was like oh oh okay but I mean you can't as a witness you can't feed me that type of information so then I wouldn't be a credible witness judging by how the supervisor reacted and handled the situation it becomes obvious that you don't have to looked too far to find out why these rookies thought they could force anyone to obey their commands but even though chel and his fellow officers were arrogant and entitled they were slightly better than this next cop who manages to throw violence into the mix hey let me see your hands B get on the ground get on the ground get on the ground right here me get on the ground you burgy shark get on the man to the ground and then proceeded to stomp his head with his boot The Unlucky man was Clarence gilard who had been falsely accused of trying to get into one of someone's house with a firearm report watch how this violent cop was finally caught and punished for his crimes five things in a plastic bag at the front door that I let him put in the plastic back so that he could leave gotcha him holding you where is this taking place at in the house living room in the kitchen okay and he come up to you and he held you how he hold you was by the Arms by no he like tries to hug me and I try to kind of just talking it out from there about came back and we to me like just let me go um and so we got we're arguing with the stupid keychain and eventually she's like you know never mind the keychain just go I'm like okay and that's when we kind of were talking about like what I could do better via okay where in the house were you guys when you were talking about the key like around the kitchen area right there fr the fridge oh so you're [Music] saying yeah yes and at that point you guys have any contact physical contact so she went to grab the keychain and I just pull it away and that was that's when we ended up like never all the keychain go and I'm like okay I I love you I do want to make this work and that's when we had talk about like what we could do better in this situation or our relationship after the teaching now get your hands off of me I said get your as expected Navar has lied to the police about the nature of the incident but thankfully they found hard evidence against him and he was immediately put in handcuffs he was also fired later from the police department for this act while this cop was beaten down by the law sometimes citizens are forced to I said uh my partner's car was parked on the street and as it was parked on the street um that makes sense as it was parked on the street one of the gentlemen got out and took a picture of the inside of her car so that's why I was curious in terms of what they were doing and I didn't know if he was a VI gentleman why would you what why would would they not be allowed to why would it matter you can't take a picture of thatal sir that's legal sir that's legal you're the one committing crimes out here it's your responsibility prot information you you're you're in violation of a misdemeanor no one here is committing any crimes yeah sucks don't it unfortunately for officer Smith and his falsely formidable stance he wasn't dealing with clueless citizens who didn't know their rights and it
