my stuff I think we can all agree that honesty is one of the strongest characteristics an employee should have and no employer would ever hire someone who's a glaring red flag for the business however there are times when the boss's radar fails and a not so honest employee gets hired and starts crossing the line but right now these people you're about to meet are not the smartest Crooks because they eventually get caught red-handed hiring the wrong person is a nightmare but finding out you hired a robber might be the worst meet Deja Holly the 20-year-old Walmart employee who was C stealing not just once but five times during her shift as a result her boss had had enough and called the cops to deal with the situation all right d so uh they got you on camera basically taking money from the register putting in your pocket money yeah I got you on camera would you be able to empty out your pockets and my m see it do you have anything else in your pocket no okay I'm going place your items right there I'm going to have you turn and face the wall right here I'm going to put you down you got nothing on you which pocket did you put in your or like it looks like it hasn't yet dawned on Deja just how serious the accusations are she's pretty nonchalant even after being shown the photos of her stealing from the register Deja still denied stealing the employee even started raising her voice to the other staff and the police officers who were just making sure she knew what she was supposed to do like if that's not Peak oblivious Behavior then I don't know what is I have my own money okay well I mean it's on camera can I see for myself I'm going to show you the pictures just to show there's a camera like literally right I know I know that of course so here's the times that I guess you were taking it uh the other days right the other days okay I can't see my I see me putting taking money [Music] out and this there's M sir all right so I going to have quick okay looking looking for something so you're going to listen to what this gentleman is going to tell you to do okay right now you're at work what I'm going to need you to do is uh write a statement about why you have this money and explain to us what has happened on these previous days of how how can I know what happened if it look like I'm taking money out I'm just letting you know it's all in video okay so she's being shown are from actual video in which she's caught putting money in her pocket and denying it will not change anything it seems like that hit a nerve because just like that she started to act hostile towards the officers it even got to the point where she refused to listen to their instructions and picked up her stuff after being told she couldn't at this point I bet you can already sense the tension inside the room still photos yes and we do have videos of it okay so we're not just just cuz these still photos are showing what where your hands are at it's not changing anything from the video I didn't take anything so I'm just letting you know we already have a documented a video and everything of you getting the money okay I'm confused I put my stuff back up here no just just doing their jobs and when a person suspected of a crime starts acting aggressively they have to stand their ground and enforce the law that's just how things work literally broke my yes 32 52 in the hill cuz what can I go you're getting an ambulance to get checked out just calm down what like that don't even make sense y'all hurt me and then put me in an ambulance look after all the commotion died down a little the trios started throwing blame at each other Deja insisted the cops were at fault while the officers were saying otherwise pointing out how the 20-year-old resisted the arrest which ultimately resulted in her injury why did you resist arrest I didn't okay I did it I asked so you thr the phone at her so you throwing your phone at her I oh my granny on my on my cousin T it on me G I did not hear her well you're on body camera so I wait yo de all that after the fact I CH I asked politely can I go in the back and get my th these cops are clearly having a hard time putting Deja under control as she was still pissed off about her nails and how all the officers were going at her all at once but I really can't blame these cops if they stay extra cautious since Deja has proven to be one uncooperative lady but they ask her to stay calm and things get better as you can see her demeanor changed and she even started showing respect to the authorities after the ambulance arrived can I sit down please oh my God are you going to be calm yes all right thank you3 good good they broke my nail six they broke my nail okay that's really it okay uh you want to go to the hospital get checked out no how about we cover that up so it doesn't bleed all over okay s good now it's time for more questions when asked about why she had the money Deja mentioned that she had bills to pay of course just like the rest of us however unlike most decent people this Walmart employee was not able to explain the other instances when she was caught putting cash in her pocket during the shift because of this she started being aggressive once again especially after the cops found her fake IDs has transaction history and all that stuff yes and I can show y'all you bring but that bring it to what you mean bring it that is mine going to sit I have a I have a bill to pay and that's why I took it out my transaction get it out of your bank account you show that transaction we last time about her behavior but then again the employee was insisting she was not even fighting in the first place well unfortunately for her she's not going to convince the cops of this and they walk her out of the store to the police car you're not going to get a break sit you're fighting the officers I'm not fighting I was never even fighting them I asked them nicely can I get my things and they he right here he broke my nail ass motion and you put your hands behind your back when he told you to I okay I was right here when I was right here I got up and that's why he did all this everything I don't have to lie about that while being transported to jail Deja still could not wrap her head around the whole situation and question the officer to sum it up she can't believe it was possible to get arrested with just those photos as evidence she even tried to appeal to the officer's emotions narrating her whole story of how the people back in Walmart treated her so badly I did not understand it's like y'all have pictures of me going in the drawer but don't like have like a picture like I'm putting anything in my pocket like that's why I'm looking like what like I mean I I wasn't there so I don't know and then the yeah and then as me been Cal like I know I I have I know my like I have not angle anger but like I can trigger off basically easy and as as talking to me the guy this police guy he just keep like being a what is it aggressive towards me like he listen to them listen to them like but I was telling him like I'm not talking to you I'm talking to you know the security that's telling me so they telling me to do the the statement but what statement do I suppos to put if y'all the one who saying y'all have the video this and that so let me see the video and basically I can tell my story but how do I supposed to tell a story if y'all not showing me anything but a picture of me grabbing money out the cash year the cash register like that's why I'm like around I'm asking him can I get my things cuz they they still have my coat in my hurs he like literally moved my whole hand like my arm is hurting right now ultimately Deja was charged with aggravated assault theft and resisting arrest were her nails okay no one really knows we all know that the Christmas season means giftgiving but this Burlington employee took it to the next level after she was caught stealing thousands of credit points from the store on December 28th 2022 the Sunrise Police Department was called into a local Burlington store to investigate an employee who allegedly stole almost $5,000 in gift cards upon entering the office the officer was welcomed by a weary looking woman and this is where the wild interrogation starts what tipped you guys off to this um corporate okay corporate from the corporate system yeah they send us inform all right uh apologize but um to call sunr stand up for me please find your back okay do you have anything on you that I need to know about that's going to stick me poke me or hurt me no okay you understand what's going on today yeah okay you might I sit for a second all right you going take a seat it's right yeah all right so here's what I'm going to do you're detained at this point for grand theft okay based on what Elvis the lp has told me I'm going to read you your rights I'm going to get all your info ask you some questions and we go from there after her rights were read the officer asked the employee about what exactly happened it's quite amusing to watch how calm this lady is explaining everything she did and if by a rare chance you missed reading the title of this video you won't even suspect she was busted for stealing thousands from her employer so what happened how long have you been employed here for almost a month okay and what happened so I we can do like returns for stuff and then get credits from the store but I didn't realize like it was actual money I just thought it was Burlington credits like it wouldn't cause any loss or anything and I was just trying to get my SI some gifts for Christmas okay but I didn't know it was actually how many times did you do this uh transaction return to get credits if you had to guess I've done it a couple of times but I haven't you I only bought stuff once after they told after I asked after I bought that stuff for Christmas I asked them and I was like what the person who was checking me out he was like oh you can't do that like that's actual money like he told me that I couldn't do it and I I haven't bought nothing else and I still have the gift cards haven't used them after that after he told me that I wasn't allowed to do that okay how many gift cards did you have total I had like five or six gift cards but and how much dollar on each on each one some of them had like $14 $50 $100 some the most one had was $23 $ which I used on Christmas the other gift cards I still have them at home haven't used them well who would say no to free money right but if this bothers you just wait until you hear how she discovered she could do those things while on the register it turns out that one of her managers gave her that idea okay now I think we can all agree that this store badly needs an internal revamp before it goes bankrupt and when did this start when did you start doing this return stuff like I don't know like two weeks ago when I learned how to when someone who taught you one of the managers taught me how to do the returns were they teaching you because they do it as well yeah everybody does it they were teaching me how to do it like cuz I'm supposed to know how to do it okay so were do you think they were doing it for the same reasons like no no you have you can have you give the customers a choice to either get buring credits or their money back from what they paid for the however it seemed that the manager was just doing her job and was teaching her how things work inside the store the downside is that it was used in a bad way instead this prompted the officers to dig a little deeper and ask about the infamous return credits transaction and if it's something other employees are also keen on doing prior to today and just be honest with me you had these gift cards at home when you learned that it was um theft or or fraud whatever it is why didn't you bring it back or alert a manager like hey I've been making a mistake I I just didn't want I just wasn't going to do it again I didn't think anybody would notice okay were you on shift today yeah did you do any of that today yeah okay what about yesterday no I wasn't you weren't here yesterday okay so when when did you get told the day I bought those presentas no it was December 23rd the 23rd okay and you haven't bought since then did any other store employees tell you like hey I do that I keep them money nothing like that okay so it's not like a common thing here to your knowledge at least there's one good thing from this conversation the boss can finally breathe a sigh of relief after learning their other employees are not fond of stealing after making sure that there was no other gift check theft to be investigated inside the store the police and the lp started wrapping things up this is where it all subsides the police officer even suggested things that might help the suspect get a lighter charge from the prosecutor all right now here's the deal deal okay because of the dollar amount it's a felony okay we just basically have to process your paperwork take you down to the jail they process it and then they kick you out okay you have any questions for me um what I would suggest is any gift cards you do have once you get out any gift card you do have I would say bring back because it will show maybe the state attorney who's going to prosecute the case that you're trying to give back the stuff I know he BL has his handset he's an LP he's got to follow what corporate says but I'm talking about the Cor side of it it may help you just to give their stuff back okay in the end the lady was charged with Grand Theft for stealing a total of just under $5,000 she claimed that she needed the money to buy Christmas presents for her siblings and other family members but if I were you do think about other Alternatives when feeling a little festive during Christmas no doubt there are other ways of spreading Christmas cheer than getting yourself in jail coming up next this Target employee thought it was a good idea to dealed thousands of Apple products from the warehouse he was working in on July 28th 2023 the Logan Township Police Department responded to a request to take into custody an employee named rim and while his offense sounds mindboggling you'll see in a little while while he's better than the previous employees in this video what's going on so we had a team member uh about $4,000 worth of theft in the facility okay he has admitted to the theft sign a documentation this itemizing wood he Sten okay very Cooperative thanks Guy okay um he's in the interview room right now with one of our uh security staff yeah uh they're the only two ones in there right now okay I can give you the I williz list of everything that he yeah I'm going to need that all right um my uh supervisor just showed up let going go tell him what we got and then if you want to get that for us I'll another police officer showed up to thoroughly get into the details it turns out Rim was not careful enough after one of the staff showed the police the CCTV footage of him stealing Apple products while working and man I always end up asking why these employees even try to steal from warehouses like this aren't they aware that cameras are everywhere just want to touch Bas are you guys looking to get them charged for everything or okay I didn't know if you just want to documentate it or if you guys were going to charge them or you want us to go through the process is there any video or ended up getting caught after all the products were checked obviously there are going to be discrepancies every time inventory comes in the cause of the discrepancies became clear after other Warehouse staff went over CCTV footage and confirmed that Rim was behind the missing items how' you guys catch wi that he was so we have this process where we go out and track our high value products such as the Apple product and when we were out there a few times we notice it goes missing and systematically it still shows in location so we run the tapes back and that's how we conduct our investigations okay and we're able to so this thing that he's driving is called an order picker is that him here or is this him here this is him here okay and we purposely put our high value products back in this aisle and the other aisle that we were just looking at so Theo is that like they'll just go up to it on their order Pickers in this case he just he's supposed to be putting away product but like you see him take it and it goes missing in time frame that it's reported missing but still in location as expected big companies like this have a very strict monitoring process for their items so stealing from them is not something you can get away with easily listening to the female staff made me wonder more if Rim was not aware of the security system after being hired if you work there shouldn't you know how security Works going back let's see the list of items that Rim was able to snag during work hours and let me tell you now the number is Extreme and do you guys have an itemized I know he's writing whatever he's writing yes we have you guys have a list of of items that you know when missing do you have that so we have this whole this is our like evidence thing that we do charges I wanted to be specific on the items that we taken so we have a specific item quantity of that item and total amount okay I usually send it to Detective Taylor but I can email it so he's going to let you know um and all the videos in this as well after all those calculations the officer also made sure that Target was suing rim for what he had done which is pretty understandable after going over the high value items he took home for free usually how this is going to is work out is we'll charge but with Target being a VI Target itself would be the victim somebody here probably like we can use you obviously you're familiar with it they're going to Chances Are you're going to be subpoenaed you're going to have to come to court and then they may ask you how you came and just going to ask you how you handled your investigations we're going off based of what you're you're showing me because when I look at him on that forklift I mean all I see him on a fork I don't know what he's doing um but somehow you came to the conclusion that you know $4,200 worth of stuff is missing yeah and obviously he it sounds like he's admitted to it and he's writing down what he's writing down so to make an arrest they off to see rim and get him into custody while he did something uncalled for at least he was cooperative unlike other suspects who would scream and kick when call listen man getting Rim documented at the police station he was driven back by the officer to where his car was being parked at Target the officer was kind enough and advised rim to bring back as much of the stolen products as possible since it might help him lighten his case in return Rim even offered to write a review for the officer all in all it was a wholesome way to end such a stressful day here you go all right man so listen obviously I'll follow you off the property um for any reason if you have to come back here you got to go to the station beforehand let us know we can always uh mitigate some of the uh problems around it if for some reason this is just me just talking to you okay okay you have any of those productss that was taken if you want to return them usually helps in the long run have it going man in the end Rim was charged with theft of movable property worth $500 to $775,000 he was released on a citation and the case is still open next on our list is this Walmart employee who was caught stealing $3,000 during her shift CCTV footage shows just how quickly this lady Works however she might have forgotten the camera above the Reg which recorded the multiple times she committed the offense and no it's almost impossible to deny her wrongdoings at one point the employee cautiously checked her surroundings before diving into the cash register and proceeding to collect money and put it in her pockets but it doesn't in there because every time she opened the cash register after catering to a customer this Walmart employee would grab a couple of dollar bills for herself something an employee should obviously not do because of this law enforcement was called in and she was arrested let's just say she was very upset about getting caught all right man' all right good see you 63 again want a grasshopper he's on much really yeah he's on my shoulder he must have jumped off you don't see many of them anymore remember as a kid yeah they were everywhere everywhere you got them laying on your face the employee was later identified as Trinity as the cops walked her to the police vehicle the busted Walmart employee started to realize the consequence of her actions and she started getting emotional luckily she'd been Cooperative after calling her mom and even made a written statement about what happened but of course that does not mean she's off the hook good bait man they really oh yeah bluegill and stuff fast you might want to make know she I didn't ask her any question mirander but she called her mom there's a written statement her right here doing it so really yeah good yep the drive to the police station was even more emotional but the officer took the chance to explain the current situation it turns out it was Trinity's first time getting caught doing something she should not be doing and hopefully after everything that happened this will be her last why are you crying you're so upset you got caught your first time going through something like this I'm assuming all right so did Officer Church explain the process all right so you're going to come back with us um going to get booked in we're getting your pictures fingerprints and then since it's a felony a judge has to set the bond so you're going to spend the night in jail and uh they will set a bond amount tomorrow probably when you stole $33,000 that's pretty significant amount in the end Trinity was charged with theft which carries a prison sentence ranging from 6 to 12 months and a fine of up to $2,500 coming up next this employee was called stealing out of McDonald's this was after a couple realized that they were not able to get their change back after picking up their food because of this they confronted the cashier in the quest to get their money back but the employee insisted she did not steal a penny you didn't get my change I really you did not give me to the I why they were conversing in two different languages when they could obviously make it less confusing as above me but at this point only two things could have happened either the customer was telling the truth or the employee honestly forgot to hand back her money but based on the clip the lady was confident she did not receive her change and insisted the employee stole it from her Ste money check the [ __ ] package real did not give me my change I came back and now you told me that that's true you got you got the camera you can shake it as well and like make my time faster not give me my change I have to G back and now I'm telling you she not give me my change she came to get $100 back I'm not lying about this I don't have to lie about this well then she took the money it's obvious if it's not on the cas the customer is coming back to complain finally the lady of the hour entered the picture and denied stealing she also clapped back at the customer and reminded her that she had handed her change back well let's just say the lady on the other side of the counter was not convinced she said she didn't get her change back and they continued to point fingers at each other I you did not give me my money argue I'm not to arue I'm not going to I don't have listen I can be served I have nothing nothing I can't even eat lunch when I go to break I don't we we didn't even have the bill she didn't give me she didn't give me the the check what is the check of my of my of my order I gave you everything I have no reason despite how crazy the exchange was between the cashier and the customer neither one was ready to back down and in the end no one knows what happened to the missing change after seeing these employees I bet you already know what you should do and not do to avoid getting into trouble the bottom line is don't steal it's as easy as ABC and at the end of the
