cops often exploit their position pulling fast ones on innocent citizens who may not fully understand the law but what happens when those same officers face lawsuits for their unlawful conduct leading to their careers being ruined here are four times when idiot cops get sued he tries to thread theing needle between two lanes dude and Swip being he said they jumped out on him like he's going to fight him or something I haven't talked to him yet because uh fire was all around but I haven't got his ID yet he looks like a turd okay let's begin with the case of Denver police officers who faced a lawsuit after making an unlawful arrest on a citizen identified as kelon Hill on April 27th 2020 after a minor traffic crash on Interstate 25 Denver officers arrested Hill accusing him of interfering with their arrest Hill later filed a lawsuit claiming the officers violated his constitutional rights by searching his car without permission and using excessive force to detain him here's how the down and say hey man this is what insurance is for you know it's all right you know so you're in a lane another Lane he wants to thread the needle yeah he was trying to get right through yeah he saying it was totally my fault I ran into him and I was like no I didn't you got your license and insurance on your truck after I got a good cell phone number yeah uh insurance card yep hey Gary I need to get his ID bro I didn't get his ID dude so he tries to thread theing needle between two lanes dude and he side Swip and he's being he said they jumped out on him like he was going to fight him or something I haven't talked to him yet because uh fire was all around him but I haven't got his ID yet he looks like a turd there yeah's that all right so give me a minute and I'll uh get you a case to determine that at the moment I will have to be able to do that when I go to the hospital after I am released from y's custody what is your name name is ke it is hard for me to determine if I'm injured at the moment if you not injured from my officer sir I it is hard for me to determine that at the moment I have to go to the hospital for what I just had a car wreck I was just stabbed in the neck I didn't ask you about the car wreck I asked you if my officers hurt you sir I called y'all about I told y about this car wreck that just happened I was arrested and detained because of it I called y'all because I was injured from and what did I just ask you I don't know where who injured me or what injured me don't get in my face I can I can hear you I don't I don't know who injured me or what injured me I know I sustained some sort of injury what I'm sir I cannot determine that until I go to it I'm not a doctor I'm not a doctor I'm not a doctor I don't know I just know I need to go hand I had his right uh one of the paramedics held his head down that was not any one of us okay so he's he will not tell me if he's injured or not and if he's saying that he is or he isn't I we have to do something right cuz I don't know if he's hurt because you guys cuffed him or he won't give me an answer so we're just going to do the paperwork okay so let's can we get off the highway and do this um do a to yeah to I'd really like to not transport him at my car I don't have a cage we have to he's going to go crazy we have the key for the where are you going to put him we get a district car you can't drive them off the ramp yeah can you do that well yeah I can do that Hill however isn't the only citizen to file a lawsuit against the cops for their misconduct as we will see in this next case you got IDs on you gentlemen you're being detained till I can identify you for what what was I detained for you're being identified till I can identify who you are and then see if you're all clear how old are you but what was I detained for okay keep on what's your name sir H in a video posted in January 2024 a South Carolina field police officer Deputy Samantha Dees is seen fabricating the law to assert dominance and detain innocent citizens the Fairfield Police Department had received a call from a resident reporting a harassing phone call officers were dispatched to the scene and here's how Deputy detis handled the situation if I can call Tay and see if she know her last name [Applause] yall know what's going on no Central 144 Central 144 I've got several gunshots over here [Applause] [Applause] is that you firing over there show me your hands show me your hands now any other weapons on you put your hands on your head interlace your fingers now now you have any other weapons on you no gunshots were heard prompting Deputy detis to quickly assess the situation she apprehended the culprits of whom one of them is identified as Tai they were doing target practice something common in the area despite the legality of the activity Deputy Dees still decided to make an issue out of it come over here get down on the ground on the ground now I a want to sto by the gun what are y'all shooting at you can't shoot out here what are y'all shooting at can't shoot on my what are you shooting at can't we can't shoot out here whose property is it Myer who's Myer is it one's own property is legal in the area provided the land comprises at least 25 acres and all safety Protocols are followed Tai and the other suspect were fully compliant with the law they had legal firearms their targets were properly illuminated no homes were in the shooting Zone and the land had a downward slope for safety despite this Deputy Dez approached the situation with clear intent to assert her Authority disregarding the legality of their actions she unlawfully handcuffed the suspects including Tai as we're about to what's your name do central I've got two black male subjects refusing to identify themselves got a shot gun and what appears to be a handgun let's make it easy on yourselves what were y'all shooting at we just shooting okay what were you shooting at my mhm okay all righty you got IDs on you gentlemen I'm do what you're being detained till I can identify you for what what was I detained for you're being identifi till I can identify who you are and then see if camera let's go I've got it on camera that y'all are discharging weapons in an unsafe manner in the air how did you how you see me though how you see me in front of the house okay all right look I walking up and of course I had my weapon drawn get down they put the weapons down refus time themselves sit there nothing but argumentative about was my land I can shoot I can shoot um I don't know what they were shooting at Grandma claims that they have dogs back there and I said it's so feral dogs they're run a loop no they're in the cages I don't know what they they won't tell me what they were shooting at yeah um it was dark like I said but they did complain they they put their weapons down immediately put their hands up where I could see them and got down on their knees they just refused to identify themselves okay so that's they still they still refusing to identify itself I haven't asked since yall got here okay I know that one is basically refusing to identify itself so I say book them man John do mhm put a hold on book them in John do so they wanton to tell who they are they won't play we'll play now I was just over there she was showing me some of the text messages and they just started letting out guess they didn't realize I was here whatever throughout the incident the two suspects stood their ground defending their rights they would later file a lawsuit against Deputy Samantha detis for her misconduct however she isn't the only officer to face legal consequences for her actions as we'll see in this next case have to go outside yes you have to go taking you to jail he did no come on on March 10th 2022 at St Joseph East ER Hospital in Lexington Kentucky 61-year-old Linda trap a homeless woman was arrested by officers after a call from the hospital staff the officers showed no compassion slamming the disabled woman to the ground and claiming she was resisting arrest here's how the disturbing incident unfolded Flo out here and started TR out why I'm here and he's like he called you not me now go deal with him and I was like I said something to him um I some like what is your name he made some comment I said what and he said how about you open up your ears and shut your mouth and I was like how about I said excuse me and then so I asked him for his ID and he was like man what you talking about leave me alone well in my mind that's the guy who has the gun and he had his he had his body turned like this the whole time but wouldn't move at all he wouldn't move and I was like I said something to him I said how about you come over here to give me your ID and he's like no I'm going back in my mouth or going back in my house and I said come here right now and he said for what I said give me your ID I said I'm trying to figure out what's going on but the whole time he's going like this and then he kind of stepped towards me and started walking back in the house so I'm thinking he's going to go get either do something with the gun so I tased him right in the back and then that's when he he he rode it for a solid 3 seconds and then tripped up the stairs and that's when he slammed the door and that's when the bar uh uh Barb I guess the the second Barb came out but one stuck in them and then he came back in the house and so I pulled my car to where I can get behind it cuz I know if he was going to come back out and try to shoot um then he came back out but he was like still hiding behind the door so I was like he has a gun in his hand and something bad's about to go down um that's when he kept going in and out in and out y'all walked up and his girls walked out one's a boy oh was it he's fine now and Adam got the barbs out yeah put him I would say take him to the hospital the one wasn't even out had Adam count as a medical professional look at him here I'm okay with that okay but the hospital needs to clear him before you can do anything you can get him there um right over there and then uh talk to BS about how to write it up we be good to go trication R trication from my life I the way you described it is fine but make sure you exactly how you described it to me it needs to be written down yeah he bladed himself in the doorway to keep one hand hidden yep was a disorder with a weapon a gun yeah the guy said he has a Glock and I pull up and he was to me and the first thing I said is this and shut your mouth and go over there and then have you talk to thep yeah we've I've already talked to them information is there a certain paperwork down Park Rage or they just have to get them cleared you just got to medically clear them so you can give the paperwork to the jail staff yeah they'll they'll give you something just as discharge paperwork just dis charge um yeah to do that I'm going to run over this robbery so have over there and then it's going to I do appreciate talking what say it again so what are you charging them with so I can tell the his wife when she get here she
