where they just had a hit-and- run vehicle exactly described as like your vehicle, black vehicle, misman. >> No, no, no. Not >> there was an accident. Your vehicle is matching the exact description. Why? You're probably crying right now cuz you didn't think we knew that. >> Like, what is being accused of me or something? >> You ran somebody over, lady. That's why we're still here. >> What's up, everybody? In today's video, we have an extremely vile Karen who almost kills a cyclist and then she flees the scene and lies about it when she gets caught. This woman has no remorse whatsoever and I'm glad that she's finally getting exposed for the world to see. Without further ado, let's get started. So, regarding the victim and the crash, I just want to show you this picture because this is all you need to see. Basically, he is in the stretcher going to the hospital with very severe injuries. The bike has been completely torn apart and this woman didn't care whatsoever. Now, let's get to the confrontation when she gets pulled over far away from the scene. >> Oh, Jesus. Go the police. >> I do not have a jack. No, you guys don't have one in your car. >> She don't have a jack and I don't I don't have a jack. Let's all go over here to the grass. >> You have a jack. >> No, we don't have those. >> You don't have You don't have a jack. >> No, we don't. We don't get those. >> Have friends. >> So, it appears that she had a bunch of good Samaritans come to her rescue because, keep in mind, there are severe damages on her car from the accident, but she didn't want to pull over near the scene of the accident because then she would be linked to the crime. So, after some time, the good Samaritans went away and then the investigation was able to begin. taking stuff out of the trunk. >> Okay. Um, just you know, my name's Ash Basic. This is being obvious recorded body on camera. >> You wouldn't have to be coming from CBR, would you? >> No. >> Where they just had a hit and run vehicle exactly described as like your vehicle, black vehicle, missing. >> No, no, no, not at all. >> Cuz your tire is shredded, too. What' you hit? >> Um, >> that's not a flat tire that you hit something. >> I definitely had like a low tire from hitting Dunkin Donuts. I >> Cuz you hit something. >> No, I hit a curb. I hit a curb. >> Where at? >> Definitely a Dunkin Donuts this morning. >> Okay. Because you saying you're leaving Old Bridge to go back to Old Bridge also doesn't make sense. >> No, no, no. Cuz that's not what I said. >> I said I said where you coming from. You said old bridge. I was talking to my friend. >> I was talking to my friend, but she was obviously like not there. >> Looking for a passenger side with damage. They're still reviewing footage to the So wait, did this happen in Middletown? This happened in Old Bridge like earlier today. Yeah. >> No, where you hit the I'm talking where the tire >> anybody like the the tire happened in Old Bridge on my Dunkin Donuts. >> How'd you make it down here on that? >> No, no, no. Earlier today, I had an issue with my tire. >> Yeah, >> I've got I got Dunkin Donuts earlier today. >> All right, let's No, no. I I believe you there. Let's just stand out of the way. >> Here's my Duncan. Here's my Duncan. >> No, I I got that. Definitely had it. And then I hit the curb and then I came down to go to the beach. >> You made it all the way home. >> And I also >> on that. >> No, this this happens on my way home from the ferry. I park at the Sea Streak. >> That's what I'm asking. Yeah. >> Oh, I park at the Sea Streak every night. >> Okay. This Okay. So, this happened in Atlantic Islands. >> Yes. >> Or Highlands? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> All right. Uh, yeah. That's completely ripped. I'm aware. >> All right. So, this happened. You made it from the sea street to here. >> I work on Wall Street. So, I got my Dunkin Donuts. I hit the curb. I went to work in the city and then I was on my way home. I was my friend at the beach and then this happened to me and >> I think we're getting to the root of the problem here. She says she works on Wall Street. She probably thinks she's a very powerful woman that shouldn't have to answer for merely almost killing a cyclist that was in her way. You can see the entitlement here. She has no remorse whatsoever. Her story is not adding up. It seems like she's willing to move mountains to avoid accountability. >> This happened this happened because I because I parked so close to a truck in my parking lot. >> Okay. So, but this happened at the sea street. probably >> says they're looking for a black Honda type vehicle sedan missing the certified here. >> No, that's not me. That's not me. >> I got you. No, I got you. >> That's not me. I was not I was not >> Okay. So, regardless, that vehicle's How long till Geico gets here? >> Like probably 10 or 15 minutes. 10 or 15 minutes. >> Yeah. >> Okay, that that's doable. All right. Just cuz if they took anything longer, I'd have to call one of our local tow trucks cuz >> Oh, no, no, no. I will get it. I will get it. >> No, I'm just saying if it's longer than 10 minutes, I got to know if I >> I literally live in New Jersey. I Wall Street. I'm not like a bad person like >> um I It's the second time that she mentions that she works on Wall Street. Did anybody ask you for that information? And she said she's not a bad person. Well, a good person would have stopped and rendered aid to the person they almost murdered, which is not what you did. Next question is going to be, have you been drinking today? >> No. >> Not anything? >> No. >> No. >> Not even a glass of wine. >> Have you had lunch? >> Okay. So, now you see where where this story is going. So, you you're telling me that you got your car got hit the other day. You didn't report it. I look at your car. It looks like you clearly sideswiped something. And that's why your front tire is now flat. You're missing your side view mirror. You're missing your car. I ask you to be honest with me. You tell me, "No, I haven't been drinking at all." And now maybe you had something to drink at lunch. So, do we want to start over completely and tell us what happened today? >> So, I worked from home. >> Okay. >> I was going to go to work in Manhattan and I decided not to. >> I went down to hang out with a couple of friends, but I did not like get drunk. >> But you were drinking. had a glass of wine for sure. Okay. >> And now I'm driving home now. I did not I was not any >> How did you get the flat tire? >> Um, so I hit a curb at the end of the morning and I think that's why I got a flat tire. >> There's no way you made it. >> No, no, no. I think I got I think I hit a curb. >> So, man, I'm going to ask again for you to just be honest because we do this a lot. So, we see accidents, we see damage, we see how it looks. If you go look at the car, you can tell that you can tell that you hit something with your car. Not just a curb. Not just a curb. >> Curve. No, it's definitely a curb. That is from my neighbor who's an [ __ ] who parks his um SUVs. >> Okay. So, when's the last time you had this drink that you're talking about? >> What time was it? >> 2 p.m. >> 2 p.m. So, you've just been sitting in the parking lot at Sea Straight Street since 2 p.m. >> Just hanging out with my friends. Like, >> what were you doing at Sandbox? >> Um catching a pan like >> Okay. So, when I asked you were at the sandbox, you said you weren't at the sandbox. Correct. >> No, I wasn't. I don't know of the sandbox. I don't know if that's the right place. I was definitely at the beach >> or right next to >> Oh, you're confusing me. I'm sorry. >> All right. So, I'm smelling alcohol coming from you. Okay. Which you said you're drinking. So, I'm going to put you through some field sobriety test. Okay. >> All right. So, we are going to fast forward past the field sobriety test because there is over 3 hours of footage for this incident and I want to condense it to under 30 minutes. So, obviously she failed and then they informed her that she failed. But that wasn't the end of the situation because the town where she hit that cyclist wanted to come over so they can interrogate her >> going on. I don't know what's going on. >> Okay. So, right so right now there was an accident. Your vehicle is matching the exact description. So that officer over there is on the phone with the town that you had the accident with is is why you're probably crying right now because you didn't think we knew that. >> So right now we're do conducting our investigation to continue that. So right now we need to just say here your 15-year-old son know we're not just going to ignore that you left him at home. He's able to take care of himself. >> No. >> So why did you leave him at home? >> No. His dad is going to go pick him up eventually if I >> Okay. But I'm saying does he stay at home by himself? Um, what is happening to me? >> Right. Well, right now we're still investigating, but I want to make sure your son's being taken care of. Does your son stay at home by himself? >> You said the field sobriety test. I'm not drunk. >> You did not do good on those field sobriety tests, man. At all. >> What did I do wrong? >> Um, you had your arms out. You did an improper turn. You weren't counting. You didn't keep your legs straight. You lost your balance seven time uh several times. You couldn't stay in the starting position without losing your balance. So what am I what is happening to me right now? >> So right now you are still being investigated. Like I told you there is multiple towns involved in the incident that you did because you >> I didn't do anything. >> You crashed your ve it appears that this vehicle was involved in a crash in another town. We are doing that investigation right now to see if that is that. Okay. So those officers from that town are going to come here. I'm going to explain to them what I did the field sobriety test of and explain that you did not do well on those tests at all. I don't think I didn't do well. >> You did not do well at all. I >> had a foot surgery. I >> Okay. Well, that will be documented in the report. Stay on my phone. >> No, please just stay on the phone. >> Ma'am, please just stay on the grass. And it doesn't help that we try to be honest with you and talk to you. >> Well, not until after we we pried your story apart. At first, at first it was you just went to the parking lot and then you decided not to go and then you were going to leave. Then all of a sudden, uh, >> did you guys say anything was a little ridiculous? Not at all, ma'am. Then then all of a sudden it changed into now you were with your friends having some drinks, but not too many drinks and you're tanning. So >> the beach for sure. >> Okay. >> So at this point, she realizes that they're not buying her story and that the walls are caving in and she's about to get arrested for something extremely serious. Now, the officers from the next town over finally came to the scene and they wanted to conduct their own set of field sobriety exercises. >> Lights, please. How you doing, man? I'm sorry. >> Do me a favor. Send the black top over this officer. Okay. I want you. >> All right. >> Can I take my shoes off? >> No. You're not Listen, all you're doing, you're going to stand there and stare at me. Okay. Nope. Like a lot closer than that. Okay. Stay right there. Okay. Anything to drink tonight? >> I had a glass of wine about 6 hours ago. >> Okay. All right. Listen, you have any problems with your eyes? All right. Well, listen. I don't know how big the glass of wine was. Okay. You're not doing great with any of these tests. Okay. You're placed under arrest for DWI driving under the influence. Okay. I'm going to have you step back in your flip flops. All right. >> I would wish that I would not be placed under arrest for those because I'm not under the influence of like >> is there anything else I can say? >> Listen, here's what happened. All right. I'm going to tell you right now, you bomb my test. From what I understand before I got here, you didn't do too hot with the other test, too. Okay. So, we're going to take you in. We're going to process you. You will be put on a breather. Okay. You blow your breath. If it comes out below 08, hey, you were right. If it comes above 08, I was right. I'm going to put my paycheck that I'm right, but I'm going to gamble it with you. Okay. So, I'll meet you inside. We'll do it from there. Okay. Please put your hands on your back. >> All right. Stay right there. >> Sir, do you have my cell phone? >> Did you search? >> I will get your cell phone. Do you have a person? Do you want us to take that? >> Yes, please. >> Okay. Is there anything else you need out of the car right now? >> My cell phone. >> Cell phone and purse. >> My ID and Yes. >> Okay. All right. >> Um, do you have anything on you, ma'am? >> I seen there's not a lot of spots, but I got to ask. >> My boyfriend's a lawyer, so that's fine. >> I would have probably started that 5 minutes ago. It wouldn't have changed the outcome, but they want >> No. So, here's what happens, man. Okay. You do have to uh take the test. Okay. You do that part. You do have to do the breathalyzer test. Okay. You're going to go to court either way. That's when your boyfriend's going to come into play. Okay. So, everything you do after that, >> May I just have my cell phone and make sure >> I'm going to make sure they're with you. This officer and this officer going to escort you to the car. >> Okay. So, please turn around and go that way. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> And my cell phone. >> Cell phone and purse. Got it. >> So, at this point, she was just under arrest for the DWI because the crash investigation was still ongoing, but eventually they broke the news to her that yeah, she was getting booked for that as well. And of course, she had no remorse whatsoever. Didn't inquire about the victim. What she was mostly concerned about was her fate. >> I'm not a criminal. It's handcuffed and I'm just very confused. >> Okay, that's fine. I It has been explained to you multiple times why you're under arrest. >> I just I understand that you think I failed some sort of sobriety test, but that's not what I see. >> Well, it's not that I think. It's that you did and that you are intoxicated and that's what you're locked up for. >> I don't feel like I'm intoxicated to the extent that you guys are like giving me this like you know. >> Okay. >> How you doing? How are you? >> Um so the reason why you're here still is so we're going to have to go down to the hospital um to get some blood drawn from you. Okay. um just have a form for you to consent for the blood. >> Is that mandatory? >> Uh it's it's your choice really. It'll just be faster if >> the process of this >> because of what though. >> I don't know what's happening. Like no one's informed me of anything like what's going on. >> Okay. Um so we're going to take a ride down to the hospital to get your blood drawn. M >> um so either you feel this >> why I'm confused. Why? Because I got a flat tire. Like what's the issue? Like what is like what is being accused of me or something? >> You ran somebody over, lady. That's why we're still here. >> I did not run anyone over. >> Okay. >> On the bridge. >> I That was not me. So I don't know. >> Okay. There's >> are they okay? Is there >> Well, they're in a hospital. >> That is hilarious. At this point, she has been with the cops for several hours and it's just now that she's saying, "Are they okay?" And she's not saying that because she really cares about the victim. She's saying that because she wants to appear human and it's not working. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, we're going to take a ride down to the hospital. Um, would you consent for the blood draw? >> If I don't, then what happens? >> We still go down. And >> so, this is the process. If if you don't consent to it, we we call the judge. We wake the judge up out of bed. We go through the whole search warrant process and eventually, more than likely, can't say for sure, we'll get the search form and they're going to they're going to take your blood anyway. Um, the only thing the consent does is speed up the process. Again, it's up to you. We can't force you. >> May I speak to my lawyer before I do that? >> No, you don't have that option. >> You can't speak to a lawyer? >> Not before. Nope. Not before testing. >> Okay. >> So, what why am I the person that ran the person over on the I don't understand like why it's >> What's that? >> I'm confused how I ran somebody over on a bridge. Like I I'm confused. How >> are you confused about? >> No, it's a very confusing situation. I'm being accused of match the description. The damage on your car, both the mirror that's missing that we have we have your side mirror sitting in our police station right now and the damage on your hood is consistent with you hitting a person on a bicycle. >> Okay. So, I understand that. >> Okay. >> So, that's why we're here. >> Yes. >> Okay. So, I hit some debris. I I never thought it was a [ __ ] person. >> It was a person on a bike. >> Okay. >> All right. So, ambient air. >> I guess she's like ambient air. >> I guess we'll go. I mean, I don't know. I >> just get this over with and I don't want to consent. I definitely would rather wait and be forced to do it. I don't >> Okay. So, you don't want to consent and >> I'd rather if I'm I have to go anyway, right? So, I'd rather not consent and then you guys do what you have to do to me. >> You really can't make this [ __ ] up. They explained to her that they will get her blood either way. Either she can just consent or they wake up the judge and the judge will sign the warrant. Now, you would think that she would just choose the easy route cuz imagine if that's the judge that is going to set your bail or decide your case. Now, you just woke them out of bed for absolutely no reason and now they're looking at you and they're pissed off. But of course, you know, Karen have to be absolutely unbearable in every aspect of life. So, she chose this route. >> So, anything with blood drawn, then I can go home tonight or like what's the process there? >> Um, so the consent is really just to speed up the process at the hospital. >> Mhm. >> To get your blood drawn. >> What is the rest of the process of this? Well, yeah, we just have to bring you back to our headquarters and then um >> we'll give you a phone call to have someone pick you up. >> Stay there >> at the police station. No. Tonight. >> Um, so >> yeah, I guess. >> Do you have phone numbers that you can call off the top of your head? I have to call my dad to make sure that I he gets my son from school tomorrow >> and I have to call my husband who's a lawyer. >> Okay. Um so like I said, we're just going to go down to the hospital. Um >> he's working on the search warrant. Um and then >> we'll go from there. >> I'm not trying to not cooperate. I don't want to be I just don't know. Like I want to make sure I like observe all my rights and >> Okay. >> All right. You should have you turn around. [Music] [Music] >> Give me one second. [Music] Okay. So they brought her to the hospital and once again she proves that she doesn't care about her victim whatsoever. The only thing that's on her mind is taking an Uber out of there which is disgusting. Lady have a little bit of empathy for the person you almost killed. That's the problem though is that people like that they feel that they are the center of the universe and nothing you can say will change their mind. So, I was saying, can I just Uber cuz >> So, now that I'm recalling, um, so the reason you can't take an Uber is because you're arrested for driving while intoxicated, which it falls under John's law. Um, so you would need someone to pick you up so that they can sign a potential liability form saying that they take responsibility for you that you can't operate or get behind a vehicle's wheel >> um within a 12-hour time frame um if you are caught in violation again. Um so that person has to be responsible for you for a period of 12 hours. Um, >> yeah. So, it's from the time that we released, I believe. Um, >> it wasn't 8 hours. It's >> 5 hours. >> 5 hours about. Yeah. >> I'm I'm not sure off the top of my head if it's from the time when you were arrested or whatever, or if it's the time that you were released. Um, so we just can't like someone just has to take responsibility obviously because you were drinking. Um, so that you don't get behind the vehicle and do the same thing. >> Well, I have my vehicle so I can I know but you can get in any vehicle. >> So the crime that she was charged with is assault by auto and it is a fourthderee crime for New Jersey. It carries up to 18 months in jail and $10,000 of fines. Unfortunately, New Jersey is really soft on DUIs and crimes regarding vehicles. So, it's not that much, but hopefully she will serve the full sentence because she deserves every single minute of it. That's it for the video. Thanks for watching and I'll see you guys on the next
