Shut up. Sir. Sir, may I speak to you? Uhuh. Uhuh. Nine times. Done talking. Well, they just asking to leave. Sir, playing again. Uhuh. I'm talking. The woman is talking. Hey, walk. Walk. Walk. Let's go. Walk out of here. Walk out of here. You out of here, sir. Sir, stay up for me. Okay. Turn. Don't do anything silly. Put your hand behind your back. swim together like for gamblers, it's a very short distance between harmless fun and total disaster. But for the addicts in today's episode, disaster rears its ugly head time and again when cops have to rescue dealers from losing gambling addicts. Scary me like a like dag off. On the night of November 13th, 2022 in Juliet, Illinois, police were dispatched to Harris Casino to deal with Melissa Gonzalez, an intoxicated woman who refused to leave the poker table. Her uncooperative behavior had become so annoying that nobody else could enjoy themselves. Hi. I didn't do anything. Yeah, but is she able to go anywhere else? Yeah, I know. I thought I said she, right? Yeah. But she don't make any problem. Okay. So, they decided that she's not allowed in. That's not her decision. Okay. So, basically, they say she can't stay at the hotel. She can't stay here at the casino. So for one, but they're saying she can't stay here now. Okay. But she she want something you have to take up with her. So where we're at now is she can either leave and go somewhere else and go home or she's going to get trespassed. Okay. It's much better. I've given her the option now where she can leave, get a ride. Ma'am, are you able to get a ride? Oh, no. Hang on. Okay. So what am I? No, no, no, no, no. I have my right and I have a hotel here. They do not want you staying at the hotel. I don't care. So what am I being charged with or what is the problem? I'm giving you the option to leave. Okay. So what is the problem? What is the problem? So what is like the initial I'm not going to argue with you. I'm not going to yell. I'm not yelling because Harris is asking to leave. You refused to leave. This officer was super reasonable and super calm. He gave Melissa a chance to leave the casino without suffering further embarrassment. And at that very moment, Melissa decided that her best option was to stand up for her supposed rights. They are a private business. That's their decision to refuse business to anybody. Daddy, who have I been yelling at? Who have I been yelling at? It's their right to refuse service to anybody. Okay. Who have I been yelling at? You have the optional. Who have I been yelling at? Who have I been yelling at? Who have I been yelling at? Yelling right now, man. I'm yelling at you. Listen, I'm trying to make this as easy as possible for you so you don't trouble go somewhere else. Okay, I'm trying to make easy as possible. You guys Uber and go. That's it. a car or nothing. Who have I been yelling at is what I want to know. He has nothing to do with me. He has He's trying to help me right now. He has kind of been helping me. I don't even know him. No, I don't even know him. This is what I'm talking about. You're under arrest. Y'all done stupid. No. Let me go. Stop. Let me go. Let me go. Let me go. The root of belligerance often comes from a hazy and incorrect understanding of the law. She felt her rights were being violated, but in reality, private businesses also have rights. And if their customers are drunk and disorderly, they can ask them to leave. Go ahead. Go ahead. You're going to have drag me. Go ahead. I can flip her over. You might have to do arms. You want to get the legs? Get the body. Get up underneath. Yeah. Roll over towards me. Towards you. [Applause] [Music] Scary me like a jack off. Like stupid jack off. You going to kick or you going to be good? You going to kick or you going to be good? Melissa's companion had been recording the outburst. She might have imagined she was putting on a show for an internet audience, and she probably figured they'd sympathize with her and hail the woman as a civil rights hero. On the contrary, however, most would view her as a hopeless drunk with a serious gambling problem. [Music] It's the front. I can get I got I got the I got I got one side. Hey, if you can flip over here under the armpit, I'll carry weights. Just turn towards him. Yes, there we go. Make sure you don't get kick. Just make sure you don't get closers. Elevator stairs. I don't know. Can you guys carry me for the elevators or the stairs or stairs? See first casino entrance south of our cars. the doors. Maybe more up there. I got to go. If we didn't know any better, it would seem like Melissa was actually enjoying getting arrested and being manhandled. In her drunken state, she might have thought she was being carried out by three officers as part of the casino's entertainment like some sort of amusement park ride. You got to search yourself. Yeah. Come on, center here. Yeah. All right. search behind you. You guys going to stick me, poke me, stab me. Go to hell. How about that? Not there's up there. I don't know if any are still up. Three more males up there. They're all waiting. They got to go, too. They're able to stay at the hotel. We'll do this. We'll do this. All right, let's get it right. Sit back. Sit back. [Music] Melissa Gonzalez was charged with criminal trespassing, battery to a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer, and resisting arrest. Throughout the processing procedure, she continued insulting the cops, and appeared to derive unique enjoyment from making the lives of law enforcement difficult. On the 31st of August, 2023 in Bristol, Virginia, the security team at a casino noticed something very unsettling. Outside in the parking lot, a child was left unattended in a vehicle for about 1 hour. After notifying law enforcement, they reviewed security footage and were able to quickly trace the car's owner to a Tennessee woman gambling inside. You want to see the police? She said, "I went." She like watching police cyber daddy. Look here. Got you a sticker. Tell them what you saying. Sorry, I'm partially into my right ear. So, I can barely hear it. See, brother on camera. They were looking. They were looking right now. Is that just a story? They're looking right now, but brother was supposed to be in the car. Maybe 20 minutes. about 20 minutes or so. What's her date of birth, ma'am? In these situations, everyone's heart goes out to the three-year-old, who was clearly in need of a diaper change. Officer Barlo had to gather concrete facts and figure out the hard truth of what had just transpired. But he also wanted to be delicate enough in his manner to avoid frightening the innocent toddler. What's your brother's name? Where's he at? Gosh. It's officer Barlo. B A R L. Where are you? Where'd you go? Is that your phone, man? I guess you try to call your brother when he talk. My guys check that. Didn't see nobody to match what he was wearing inside here, but he's 19, so he can't get on floor. Anyway, when talking earlier to security staff, the woman claimed she left her daughter with her brother, the girl's uncle. The security cameras from the entire property were then checked to try to confirm her claim. Is he even here or is that a storm? Huh? Is he here with you? No, I swear on everything. my brother like 19 like I literally just went and picked him up from Gate sorry from Gate right Virginia gate city highway was alone you did I did not I left her with my 19-year-old brother Jaden and I gave you guys every bit of information you guys have the camera they watch the cameras it's not on there you wouldn't watch the cameras it's not on there then what happened to my brother because I have the I know what I'm saying I have Nobody come out of the car from when you got out and went in. Nobody got out. I just picked up my brother. I can show you where I just picked him up and he said he'd be fine sitting here. If he got out, he would be on the camera. They got this camera is probably But it was in exactly an hour you left your child out while you were in there playing cards. I would never leave my daughter out here alone. Not to go in there and gamble for a free $5 that I have. I just while we're down here in Bristol, before we stop at mom's house, we were at Gate Gate Gate City Highway. If your brother was in the car, he magically disappeared. He would be on the camera. Did you see a car pulling next to this car in any meantime? Mommy, then there's only 20 cars in the parking lot. Mommy, mommy, where's your messages to show you picked them up? After conducting due diligence, everyone realized she was trying to cover her tracks with an ineffective lie. But the woman still clung to her story, which surveillance footage can easily disprove. But I'm saying if he got out of the car and got in another car, it would be on the camera. They literally see every inch of this parking lot. I'm not sure if they do, but I'm telling you, my brother was Where's the messages that you look? I said I said I think I'm here. That's Wednesday. Wednesday last night. Yeah. Went over to his house. Sat there. Didn't want to drive at night time because she was So you went over That was 10:10 last night. Yes. And this morning we Where's the calls? So you called him twice this morning? Yes. This is the two calls where I try to get a hold of him. Yeah. But the last messages last night at 10:10 because I went and picked him up. So y'all stayed in your car overnight. No, we stayed at his I mean I guess his house just cut the and that's the end of it. So stop. You need to get a family member to get your kid. I don't have a family member. All right. When I get the assist I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Where's your mom? But I You need to get a family member to get your child. You said your mom was on me. You'll call her. She's at work. She's working. She can come over here. Mommy. Your husband lives in Irwin. You don't have a family car, so he can't get here. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. Yeah. Baby. Baby. Baby. It's an incredibly heartbreaking scene, but the law is the law and the consequences are severe. Neither officer Barlo nor anyone else involved could look the other way and let the mother off the hook for her dangerous parenting choices. I don't want DSS to take your I don't want anyone to take my child. I don't want to put my That's why your mom needs to come. But he wouldn't watch the camera. I mean I'm tell my last message was 1010 last night because I said that I pulled up to pick him up and he said she was asleep. So you picked him up last night. Did you pick him up this morning? You said you picked me up this morning on Holland Road. 30 minutes ago. No. Gate City or Gate City Highway. Yeah. 30 minutes ago. You said that. That's when we just left. We just left there. Okay. Well, I stayed there overnight. I don't know. Uh I even have I have the dude's name that lives in the house. You can call him and ask him for So, where did you and your child stay last night? In his home. In his third bedroom at Mommy. It's 60 something 39 Gate City Highway. Okay. 6 6930 Gates Highway. When's that message? That was sent last night. So that way you can tell me how to get there. I'm talking about her birthday. She just turned three. Literally Monday. Like our birthday party is this weekend. Like um I know that I know that everything just I I really feel crazy right now because I don't understand the whole In this day and age with legalized gambling, more and more gamblers are leaving their kids in casino parking lots because minors are not permitted entry. As a result, casino security has to patrol the area regularly to make sure unsupervised kids aren't suffocating inside vehicles. Yeah. The Commonwealth authorities confirmed to your arrest so for an hour. Okay. for an hour. Well, you left your kid in the car for an hour. You're going to be going down to the magister. We got a magister in Virginia. So, you'll get a bond. If they release you, then you're good to go. If not, we'll have to bond out of Abington Regional Jail. She later plead guilty to felony child abuse. She got a 5-year sentence, which was partially suspended. After serving 16 months behind bars, she'd then be released and go into a 2-year probation period. At the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, Ohio, a drunken gamblers's belligerent outburst earned him a one-way ticket out the door. Like other gambling addicts before him, he refused to do so, forcing law enforcement to intervene. I just want to go. Let's go. They don't want you here anymore. I hope so. All right. Are you want them out of here? Is that what we're doing? All right. Let's get out of here. Listen, boy. Don't touch me. They want you to leave. They want you to leave. They want you to leave. Listen. They want you to leave. It's a private establishment. You hear what I said? Yeah, I heard what you said. It's a private establishment. They want you to leave. I'm not. We need to leave. Listen. What's your name? What's your name? You don't even know my name. What's your name? Let's go. I'm going to escort you out. Take your hands off your pockets. I'm going to escort you out. Let's go. Can I get my ticket? No. Hey. Hey. Stop touching me. Pick my ticket up. Hey. Do that again. This is going to be a bad way out. Thank you, bro. That's going to be a bad day for you. You come out with me. Stop touching me. Walk out. Stop touching me. Let's walk out. Embarrass your Let's walk out of here. Yo, bro. Can you please tell walk out of here? Walk out of here. Casino special for today, man. All right. N you you know I'm good, bro. Why you touching me like that? Yeah. Hey, run me in another car, please. Once the officer heard the man's overly aggressive tone, he called for backup. We've all heard of road rage, but is there also such a thing as gamblers fury? Cuz if there is, this is a pretty good example of it. Walk out of here. Let's go. 103. Let's walk. Hey, take your hands out of your pockets. We're walking. We're walking. Hey, we're walking. Hit me. Walk. Hit me. Walk. What are these? Let's go. Walk out of here. Walk out of here. You out of here. [ __ ] out of here. Put your hands behind your back. Hey, touching me, bro. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. Let's go. Put your hands behind your back. I'm going to tase you. Put your hands behind your back. Hey, put your hands behind your back. The gambler took offense because of the physical contact the officer made. It must have struck a court with his macho pride. But all the officer did was tap him on the shoulder to indicate to the man that it was time to walk out of the establishment. Get down on the ground, bro. Put your hands behind your back. Hit me, bro. Roll over. I ain't doing nothing wrong, bro. Roll over. Put your hands behind your back. You doing too much. Put your hands behind your back. You're not strong. I'm going to punch you in the face. Punch me. I'm going to punch you in the face. You said he going to punch me in the face. Punch me. Put your hand behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. Hit me with the taser, bro. I got a good lawyer, bro. I love like this. I love like this. Put your hands behind your back. That's cool, bro. But he ain't ain't no sneakers more than your salary. I don't care. Stand up. Yeah. Pick me up. Stand up. That's cool. Who I am. Watch what you do. I don't care. I know you don't. That's why you did what you did. Yeah, that was man unnecessary. I was about to walk out. That wasn't unnecessary, bro. You You're swinging around, son. You bugging, bro. I'm not bugging out at all. You're acting an idiot. I'm not saying you're scared. That's cool, bro. That's all on camera. It is on camera. My lawyer. I don't care about your lawyer. I know you don't. Spread your feet. Explain that, bro. Spread your feet. I know how much money you got on steal my ticket all. I don't know why you got to make things difficult, bro. You did. No, they asked you to leave it. And you're in here being an idiot, bro. Like, why would you do this, bro? I'm trying to leave, bro. Like, that's You trying to leave to leave, bro? You brother, bro, deal with what you about to do with. You think I'm saying you're It was the gambler here who was initially aggressive. The cop responded with his own aggression and exercised authority. In any event, picking a fight with law enforcement never leads to a good outcome. In the end, the gambling man had nothing but cheap insults to fall back on. 37 years old. Talk to me like I'm a little kid. My grandpa's two purple hearts in the No one has a problem with that. All right. But they as you and they don't want you to leave, bro. And you don't want to leave. They told you to leave. Just try to push me on the ground. You going to tase me? Yeah, because you swung on me. You're lucky you didn't get knocked out. I swung on you. Spread your feet. Why you doing that? Dumb your feet. No, my feet already spread. I'm not a little and I'm not going to disrespect you. You disrespect. You're being disrespectful. Well, you know what? I'm done talking. Where's my lawyer? I don't need your lawyer. All right. So, then deal with it. Nothing in there. Not on. I'm from Brooklyn. Shut up. You're being ser? I'm not calling a sergeant. Can I get a sergeant, please? That's not turning around or you're going to go back on the ground. That don't work for me. That YouTube don't work, bro. You got to wonder what this guy was thinking. He seems to think that his grandfather fought in Vietnam so he could one day act like a colossal fool in a casino. He's probably not embarrassed to be featured here on the Hidden Files. And maybe that's exactly where the problem lies. You swear on me and you bald your fist. Okay, bro. That don't work, bro. It it everything in my pockets is legal, bro. I come here all the time, bro. You look like a dumb, bro. Grab me like that. I play football. I'm good, bro. Like that's from him. That's from him. I know. I mean, my grandpa's two tours. Vietnam. Like, get up for this a military state. Where's Donald Trump when you need him? You know who the I am. I don't care who. Figure it out. Lock me up. I don't care who you are. Talking that dumb. Go get one of your your cup hell out of there. This is unnecessary, bro. This is very unnecessary. But I know you're not going to let me out right here cuz you never had no That's why I laid down like that. You laid down cuz you don't want to get hurt in front of all these people. We don't need you here. I don't think I'm not like that, bro. Aaron shut down. You're a [ __ ] I don't know what payroll you want. Can I get my stuff? I'll get it for you. Come on, Jeremy. You know what it is. Take a seat. I ain't doing nothing wrong. You did. They wanted I'm going to check him. They wanted him to leave. He didn't want They didn't He didn't leave. Tried to escort him out. It obviously didn't work. He balls his fist. So, put him on the ground and we'll just get him out of here. You can get some tickets and we'll get him out of here. The man eventually calmed down and was more polite with a female officer who processed his arrest. He was then taken to jail for booking. At Rivers Casino into Plains, Iowa, a married couple with an attitude problem fell completely out of favor with their blackjack dealers. Management politely asked them to leave, but they refused to cooperate. That's when the cops had to step in. Are you guys going to like drag us out of here? Yes, if I ask nothing wrong. Just start going, bud. You guys Yeah, you can go on your own. I did nothing wrong. You got to go. I did nothing wrong. You got to go. No, I don't. I don't. I'm not reading. Yeah, you are. trespass. You want to trespass? Yes, please. Both trespass. Verbally trespass. Private property. Casino owns this. May I ask something? Sure. I'm I'm sorry. I'm talking. I ain't talking. Not you. Does that sound like your wife? Yes. Shut up. Hey, sir. Sir, speak to me. Uhuh. Uhuh. Nine times. Done talking in. Yeah. Well, they just asked him to leave. Sir, playing a game. Uhhuh. Uhhuh. I'm talking. The woman is talking. Stop it. Playing the game. Shut up. Would you like her gone too? Okay. Does that I didn't Are you serious? Are you guys going to like drag us out of here? We did nothing wrong. Well, we're asking you guys to leave. You can go on your own. I did nothing wrong. You got to go. I did nothing wrong. No, I don't. I don't. I'm not good. No, I'm not. If this husband and wife had a competition over who could be more annoying, it'd be hard to pick a winner. They were both exhibiting smug attitudes and an extreme sense of entitlement. These two are perfect for each other, but for all the wrong reasons. Sir, you're being verbally trespass. Do not touch Listen, if you don't have to touch you and arrest the understand the exchange you just saw sums the law up perfectly. If a private business asks you to leave, then that's that. Unless, of course, you want to sabotage yourself and cause unnecessary legal troubles. But that's exactly what this couple's achieving. Hey, this is your last chance. You got to go. You're getting arrested. But I don't even understand. All right. So, can I ask you a question? If you don't leave right now, you're going to get put under arrest. You understand that? I'm asking you to amrest Where's my car? Ma'am, stay here. I need my cares. Get that for you. Put your hands behind your back right now. Otherwise, you're going to get charged [Music] with that hook. There you go. I got you. Get that hook. I got it. Take your time. Oh my god. Let go of your hands. Let go of your hands. You want a second? Let go of your hands so I can put the other cuff on you. Let go of your hands. Let go of your hands so I can put the other cuff on you. Sir, I'm going to ask you one more time and then I'm going to make you do it. Let go of your hand so I can put the other cuff on you. Let go of your hand so I can put the other cuff on you. If you've never been handcuffed before, your first instinct might be to fight back. But once the cops have decided to place you in handcuffs, the best thing for everyone involved is to let the process play out. Okay, relax. We're walking outside. Nobody's resisting. You guys are a bunch of every one of you. Every one of you guys are a bunch of taking your wife. What did I do? You're being charged with trespass. Trespass for what? Trespass. What? I didn't try I I show my when I walked in. Stop breaking my arm. Stop pulling away. No, you're hurting me. You're hurting me. Stop pulling away. No. Stop. Stop. Stop. You're hurting me. Stop. Stop. No. Let go of me. No. No. Stop. Matt, you will be arrested as well. Stop. I am coming. No. Get your arm off my back. No. Get your arm. Get your arm off my back. No. I ain't going nowhere. No. Stop. You stop. Yeah. Go ahead. Hit her. Oh my god. You piece of [ __ ] You beat right now. Get up. Stop. How freaking hard is it to walk out a door? Time and time again, disorderly people refuse to swallow their overinflated pride and simply leave a business when confronted with trespassing. There are plenty of other places they could go to. So, if they get banned from the place, it's not the end of the world. Stop fighting. Okay, stop. If you stop hurting me, I'll stop fighting. Please get up right now. Get up right now. She's suffering. I can't get off. You're in between my legs. Oh my god. Can you please make sure you have I got it. You got it. Okay. Okay. I get your thing is on my wrist, but my wrist is too tiny. Please, can you loosen this one a little bit? Can you loosen this one? He's trying. [Music] [Applause] No, but it's hurting my Well, stop pulling away then. Can I please look at a phone number on my phone? You'll get your phone at the station. Oh, I can I can look up a phone number to call. Okay, we'll take all your stuff with you. Do I get a mug shot? Maybe. It's often said that opposites attract, but in the case of this couple, they were exactly alike. These two just love to shoot themselves in the foot, and they were both refusing to travel the path of least resistance. A honeymoon in jail might be exactly what they need. I want to talk to my lawyer. You'll get a chance. I want to talk to my lawyer now. Watch your face, Mike. Hey, I want to talk to my lawyer. Put your feet on. You're arresting me under under my lawyer. I want to talk I want to talk. You're going to get a chance when you get to the stage here. Talk to my lawyer now. I want to talk to my lawyer. I want to be in the car, sir. Lawrence, you'll be able to talk. I want I don't give a You don't give a wed Mike out videos. Mike the guy I want to talk to my lawyer. I want to talk to my I want to talk to my lawyer. I want to talk to my lawyer. I want to talk to Lawrence Wolf Le. I want to talk to Lawrence Wolf Levin right now. Right now. No, you guys are out of control. I want to talk to my lawyer. Lawrence Wolf Le, I want to talk to my lawyer. Lawrence Wolf Le. No, I want to talk to my lawyer. Lawrence Wolf Le. The man got three misdemeanors, including disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and resisting a peace officer. His wife was charged with one count of resisting a peace officer. Looks like Lawrence Wolf Levven would have a hard time getting those charges dropped. On the 9th of June, 2023 in Elgen, Illinois, the cops were called to the Grand Victoria Casino. An unruly man got kicked out, raving that he'd won $30,000 and that he had to find his father. The responding officers began the investigation, but unfortunately they were met with erratic behavior and intense hostility. You might Hey, can I see your ID real quick? Yeah, sweetheart. Okay, perfect. Okay, so it sounds like I'm going to do up some paperwork real quick. They're going to check. They're going to look for your dad. I need my father to come. Sweet. I'm going to walk across the street. Hold on. You just wait right here. They want me to leave here. Yeah, but we there's something we have to do first and then we'll let you know. Okay. You came here by yourself? My father was over there. These in the casino, right? I cash in $40. I won 30 grand. He got pissed and they kicked me out. Okay. Can you come here? Hey, you want to talk? I heard Okay. It's fine. Can we just talk right over here so that don't get all ignorant and right cuz you're IP, right? You work for Pritskar, right? I pay your taxes. Don't give me that. If you want to smile, sir. I'm a glory grand, sweetheart. Worth it. No. Look, you know what? I told him, "Take me to jail." He said, "No." Okay. Because he knows it's that. Go find my dad. Why are you guys still out here? The man arrogantly announced that he had the power to dictate things. He somehow imagined he could order the cops around simply because he pays taxes. But that's not how the system works. Paying taxes gives you no special privileges or the freedom to act like a juror. Find my dad from inside. Why can't you do this? You you you're a police officer, right? Yeah. Can you go in the casino? Is he You can't walk in and go see this Indian. You have sit in here, right? I'm here with you. Can I send you a picture of my father? Can you go have our Yeah, we can. You can show me a picture of your father, but we're going to wait a little bit. Okay. But you can show me so that when I have time. But what's the point of waiting then? What's the point of waiting? Do you have his phone number? You can't call him. My phone is at Do you know his phone number? I don't. He's downstairs in the casino room. But these guys are full of They're looking for him right now. No, no one's looking for him. They have other people inside. You know what, Miss Munes? If I go inside the casino with you, I'll find my dad in 5 minutes. Okay. Do you want to go with me? You can't go back inside. Then go find my dad. We I'm going to wait for somebody else. You want me to call out missing person report? Sir, where were you? Yes. Come here. Where are you going? You're not free to go at this moment. Hey. All he had to do was hang out for a minute because this issue could have easily been solved with a citation or a simple warning. Instead, the man kept freaking out talking about a missing person's report for his father who was right inside the casino. Maybe the guy had lost a lot of money and his father was avoiding him out of shame and embarrassment. Why are you making it worse than it really? I need to find my father. Okay. But you going over there is not It doesn't matter. It's not going to happen. They don't want to find my father from inside. They're looking for your father. Who's looking for my father? Other securities are inside is what I'm trying to tell. Man, I've been here for an hour and a half. Okay. You're telling me this casino is Get close to me. Okay, man. This casino is 20,000 ft. They can find my father in 5 minutes. And that's what they're working on. I've been here for an hour and they found Okay, I understand. No, find my father first. The officer here was exactly right. Why make things worse? But emotions run high, of course, when gamblers lose loads of money and get pushed over the edge in their fits of extreme rage. This might explain the man's behavior, but it doesn't excuse it. My I want to file the person right now for my father. Here, take away. Yeah. I don't even know what standing outside looking for my father. You think these are the only people There's other people inside that are looking for your father. And you know what? They kicked me out because I cashed in 40 bucks and I cashed out $20,000. Guess what? They kicked me out. Then find my father. I want to file missing person right now. Hey, stop. Come over here, bro. Stop moving. Do this back and forth. Listen. Listen. No, you listen. We don't want No. No. I don't want Right. All right. I want to file a missing person report. I want to file a missing person's report. Can you do that? Don't get in my face. Call your supervisor. Call ma'am. Miss Williams, call your supervisor because you have to if I ask. Thank you. You want to call your supervisor or no? You said no, right? Did I say anything? Can you call your supervisor here, Miss Williams? When we get done, Miss Williams, I have my own issue, right? Can you call your supervisor here? You have to. Dude, what did I say about getting in my face? I'm not here. Miss Williams, you you came up to me. Miss Williams, can you call your supervisor here? I'm asking for your supervisor. Are you not going to call your supervisor here? Yes or no? I'm asking a simple question. Officer Williams, no, you're not right. Officer Williams, are you going to call your supervisor here? Yes or no? I'm asking. Thought your phone was dead. This might explain the man's behavior, but it would never excuse it. A bit earlier, the man said his phone was dead, but now he's using it to photograph the officer. He also claimed that he won 30 grand, but suddenly the figure was down to 20. He was starting to establish himself as a pathological liar. Can you buy somebody here? Okay. So, I know that you're worried about I know that you're worried about your dad, but that's that's what they're doing right now. Okay. So, where did you leave your dad? So, you left him alone. So, he must play poker downstairs. Okay, ma'am. So, if you're saying that your dad Listen, you know, it's 20,000 still. They had 75 offices. Don't give me that bull. How I left my dad, right? That's my responsibility. It's not yours. Right or wrong. It's not my responsib. Hey, you're not free to leave, dude. You keep walking away. We're going to put you on your ass. I'm moving. Sit down. Am I being Yes, you are 100%. Then lock me up. Come on. Let's go, dude. If you keep walking away. No, you know what? Lock me up. Am I I'm asking you a simple question. Am I being detained? Yes, you are. Then lock me up. Detained is different. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I know. Am I being detained? Am I being arrested? Lock me up. Sit down. Lock me up. I'm going to walk away. No, you're not. I'm being detained, right? No, you're being detained. You're locked me up. You want to take a seat right here? But then why won't you why won't you arrest me? The man claimed to be in the know, but it's super obvious that he doesn't know the key difference between being arrested and being detained. If you watch the hidden files, you realize, of course, that it's not uncommon when people are detained for public safety. They might get arrested or charged, but they might not. This man had just completely lost control of his emotions. Are you going to take me to jail or no? Oh, then let me go then. You're not free to leave. Am I being detained? You are being They put me in handcuffs. Put me in handcuffs. Put you in handcuffs to be detained. They're like, "You know what? If I'm not being You have one more time to walk away and I'm going to put you in handcuffs. Do you understand? Don't curse at me. Don't curse at me. Don't curse at me. I'm walk away again, dude. I'll get out in a hour. I don't give a You think it's that I'm not a minority or think about who you're talking to first. I'm talking to you. Yeah, there's Cuff me. You got all this, right? Cuff me then. Cuff me. Why would you cuff me? Because you know it's against the law. That's why you won't cough me. You talking all this, right? Cuff me. Come on. Why would you cuff me? Because you know it's wrong. So don't give me that like you'll do whatever you want to do. I'm a man. I know the I to not walk away. I'm not walking around. I'm sitting down. That's in your best interest. You your best interest. How about that? William, your best interest. My best interest. I want some water. I need some water. There's a very clear irony behind the man's boastful declarations. He claimed to be highly educated, but he was acting like a complete fool. He also claimed to have a perfect understanding of criminal justice, but actually was completely ignorant of the law. You know what? I don't feel called. I'm dehydrated. You want to look ambulance? Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. 2011. Where's my dad? So, they look for your dad. They are not seeing him on the surveillance. So, this is what we call a van notice. The Grand Casino does no longer want your business. I've been here, man. They just found you three years ago. What the What is that paper? You should have got it. I don't know. You need to find it inside. So, I need you to sign this. Okay. Well, I'm going to put reviews. We all have body cameras on. This is a verbal um ma'am. Grand. So, you are no longer allowed to come to the Grand Casino. If you do, you will be arrested. Fine. Jim Fox, right? You know how $4. All right. You're refusing to sign it. So, I'm going Okay. Well, I will put refuse and I will give you a copy of this. You can copy. All right. Well, I'm going to give it to you. Uh, I didn't file a machine with you. The man shamelessly admitted that 3 years prior he'd been banned from the very same casino. I guess in the interim, casino security must have forgotten about his ban. But being twice banned from the same casino is a truly special accomplishment that no one should be proud of. Don't make three grand a month, right? Was kind of inappropriate. It is. It's horrible. You How about that? You You don't need to talk to her like that. No, because she was rude to me. How was she rude to you? Ask her. Ask her. I saw her though, too. No. When she was talking to me, asked her what she said to me. I think we've all been professional. Yeah. Call supervisor. Yep. There's one in. Thank you. No problem. You sure you do not want a form? Hell. Okay. Are you guys done with me? You asked for an ambulance, didn't you? Did you ask for a rescue? But why the are you still here? Cuz you're acting belligerent. You going to arrest me? Did I say I was? Yes or no? I'm asking you a simple question. Then get the out of my face. This guy clearly has issues with being respectful towards women. He somehow thought he could insult them without any consequences at all. The man's language was disgusting, but in his mind, he needed someone else to blame for being a degenerate gambler. If I get hit, trust me. I can do whatever I want. Don't give me that. Step over here, sir. Just step over here. There's no need. There's no need for you to get I'm waiting to get arrested. Trust me. I'm waiting to get arrested. That's mine. Public road. I can do whatever I want. Can't jwalk. They give me a ticket. Watch out. Give me a ticket. You're going to get hit by a car. Give me a ticket. You said no to you, right? Give me the ticket. Find my dance from inside. Hey guys, how you doing? He requested a rescue. I'm not feeling well. Dehydrated. Yeah. Welcome to 2023. I didn't touch you, man. You're under arrest. Behind your back on your back. You're under arrest. I got one in custody. The suspect was charged with aggravated assault and resisting an officer. What this guy needs is to get his anger management and his gambling addiction under control. because if he doesn't, he might break his own record by getting banned a third time. On the 12th of January 2023, in Fort Meyers, Florida, an officer was dispatched to a slot machine arcade when a patron known as Kelty started loudly demanding that he be paid for the $80 left on his ticket. And this situation escalated very quickly. Sir, I'm just trying to get my money from you, man. I need $80 and I'm out the door, sir. This this is all the business. Man, let me get you on video, too. Excuse me, sir. I'm here trying to get my money. It's 80 bucks. That's all I want. So, I can get out the door. No problem. I'm trying to get my money and get out the door. They had me waiting for 30 minutes. You want him trespassing the property? Yeah. If they won't be trespassing, I don't issu a verbal trespassing warrant at this time. If you I'm recording, please step back. I don't feel safe. You'll be serving Florida statute 810.09. 09. Can I get my $8? What about my money? Can you stop being racist and give me my money? I'm going to give you one more warning. Can you not vacate and be placed under arrest before this statue? 810. Are you serious? Are you serious? Are you refusing? Can I get my money? I'm not refusing. Can I get my money? They refusing. Excuse me. Excuse me, sir. Can you Can you call your sergeant? Can you call your sergeant? Can you call your sergeant? Can you call your sergeant? You're being very racist right now. I just Hey, don't touch me. Look, I'm talking to a video. Hey. Hey. Hey, miss. Can you come see this? Can you come see this? Can you come see this? I want you on video the whole time. Please stop hurting me. Please stop hurting me. Please stop hurting me. Why? Why am I [Applause] being recorded? Record it, please. The race card was in full effect, but as we've seen so far in today's episode, these raging gambling addicts come from all races and genders. And by the way, if you're ever in a casino and you've already lost some money, do yourself a favor and don't lose your dignity. Just walk away with it. Record this. Your other hand, man. Why you hurting me, bro? Why you hurting me? Behind your back. What am I doing? Put your hand behind your back. What am I doing, man? Put your hand behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. Elbow in. Put your hand behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. I'm not the day again. Turn your elbow, man. He hurting me. He hurting me. I swear I'm hurting me, bro. You hurting me. Don't give a [ __ ] I'm black, man. All I want my money out here, man. All I want is my money. What I want with my money, bro. It's crazy, bro. I'm a student. I'm a student, man. Get Man, get my money, bro. Get my money, man. You acting stupid. You acting stupid as seriously, how hard is it to comply with a simple request to put your hands behind your back. This guy was acting like an absolute drama queen. Looks like he's willing to wreak havoc just to get his $80 back. That's a pretty low price for your self-respect. Man, I can't even get up, man. Call your sergeant. Call your sergeant. I'm right here. I don't feel comfortable with you. I don't feel comfortable with you. I don't feel comfortable with you. I'm getting a lawful order. What? We're going outside. What the hell order to get out? Let's go. Look how you doing me, bro. I swear to God. I'm shooting, bro. I'm shoot. [Music] What did I do? Over here. Trespassing. I can't do nothing. I swear to God, man. Look, it's crazy. It's crazy, man. What? Look at my you guys right now. And you got it, bro. I can do nothing. This is crazy. This is disrespectful. It's a pretty rare occurrence when screaming and yelling get you somewhere positive in life. Case in point, what Kelly's screaming got him was a shiny pair of handcuffs and a trip to the jail house. Since the race car was getting old, he then started claiming police brutality. I got all video. I got I got video, too. I'm coming through. I'm coming through. Look. Look. Not even, man. It's crazy, man. Man, it's crazy, man. [Music] Anything in your pockets? I missed. Yeah, please. You got to go get your child. The man was supposed to pick up his young child from school. Instead, he was outside a slot machine arcade screaming his head off. By the way, this guy's acting looks like he's the one that needs to be picked up by a parent. Luckily for his parents, the cops are there to do it for them. They don't want to give it to me so I can go the business. They don't. Yeah, exactly. Why do you think they don't want to give you the money? No. What happened is you can open the changing shifts and when they change shift because I used to work here when they change the shift they have to have people to wait. Are y'all serious? And then she said 15 minutes but it took longer than 15 minutes cuz he was taping everything. He he must call y'all. He the one called Come on now. I'm doing everything right. like that's crazy, man. I can't [Music] believe it. I can't believe [Music] I can't believe it, man. Sometimes taking a few deep breaths and counting to 10 might be all the difference between walking away with your freedom and being thrown in a cop car facing criminal trespassing charges. But Kelly seemed too busy to take a few breaths. And quite frankly, it's a little too late at this point for him to calm down. Well, well, what had happened? He went up there to get his money. He lost 500 in there, but they were changing shift. That's what it was. And they told him 15 minutes, but it was more than 15 minutes. So, he got upset cuz he had to go get his child from daycare. Cuz if you don't go get his child, they going to Did you know him or No, I was just a patient. I'm take his DL. Put him in the fall. Just put that just watch him. Hey, I just wish he could shut up. Well, I'm all I was trying to do cuz he's yelling and they want to trespass. He's got to go outside. So, you go. No. Yeah, you got to go. If he would have went outside, I would get back in trying to get his money, but I can't when he's screaming yelling. I know. Kelly was taken to the station and charged with trespassing and resisting arrest without violence. It was a pretty sad day for Kelly who on that day lost a whole lot more than $500 in Vero Beach, Florida. On July 2nd, 2022, Indian County Sheriffs were called to the Vero Beach Inn in Suites after housekeeping got alarmed after hearing babies crying. The housekeepers entered the hotel room and discovered the babies had been left alone. The cops were sent to the room to investigate. Hi check out the door to see if they were going to check out. I heard the baby. So I'm like, baby, someone's taking care of the baby. I come back. So I came 10 minutes later and no one still came with the baby. There's no baby for there for them. No, nothing. This baby right there. No, I just put on my phone. Where's Where's the guy that lives? We don't know. At least we been in here what 15. Yeah. Okay. There's nobody in the shower or nobody's in the under the bed. Um, okay. You know who who lives here? You ever seen the guy? I don't know the name, but we have a black guy. You ever seen him? I never seen him. Have you seen him from that? He came to pay another 20 20 30 minutes because what's that under the bed? Is that yours? That's where the baby was sleeping right here. Oh, was that your paperwork? Yeah, that's the baby was right there on the edge of the bed. The babies were all alone with no adult supervision. At this point, it was the housekeeping staff that was taking care of them. Kudos to these ladies for being alert and coming to their rescue. Otherwise, there's no telling how long the babies could have been alone. They seem to be fine. They were just left alone, but uh the baby I found a bottle in there. The baby's on a ball right now. They might have been alone for maybe 25 minutes. Maybe the guy went to the front office to extend another day and he left the office and he never apparently never went back to the room. So maybe 25 minutes. All right. So where is now? Who was the other lady that said she saw him drive off? Oh, that's um the housekeeping. Okay. Lady. Okay. Yeah. And she saw him drive off. Yeah. So uh getting the job left. All right. But uh when I call from this, she told me she just reservation for another night. He just left. That's what she told me. Uhhuh. Yes. And I go look to the pool and Oh, he's not. She say he's a big guy. Okay. But everybody seems everybody said there there's only him and the babies, but he he wrote down the party of four. At this point in the investigation, the cops were desperate to find out where the father was. Since the very first officer arrived, it had been nearly an hour and there was still no sign of any parents. After checking security cameras, they saw the father drive off and guess that he might have driven to a nearby slot machine arcade. [Music] right here. Right here. Yep. Are you with me? Yes. Across the street. Yes. Around water down. Sir. Sir. Stand up for me. Okay. Put turn. Don't do anything silly. Put your hand behind your back. Put them together like you're clapping. Put them together like you're clapping. Like this. Like that. Like this. Yep. Right there. Please do not resist. Okay. The woman here is Martina Shaw, 34, and the man is 35year-old Aaron Dobby. They're the parents of the kids, and they left a 3-month-old, and an 18-month-old, alone in a hotel room across the street. And it was all because they wanted to gamble. Shoot in that hotel room. Who's watching me? You [Music] just left them there, huh? You left the children there. I mean, they're there, man. I mean, we're we're with them. So, I'm just looking for some explanation. Look, let's just put all the blame on me or whatever you got to do. So, well, there's two of you. [Music] What's up? You guys decided to come down here and gamble and the children are I mean I'm I'm just asking. I don't care who the blame is on. I'm asking is that this and that. Is that the case? Just put all the blame on me. I don't want nothing to happen to her or my kids. I understand and we can work on all that. I have to get I have to understand though what is going on. You can't just say blame everything on me and let's go home. Like I need to understand what's going on. So So who was in charge of watching the children? Put Just put blame on me, sir. Is anybody assigned to watch the children? Did you have a babysitter? Let's put blame on you, sir. You're not That's not a valid answer to the question. Okay, take her out of her. I'm talking me and you. Who was left? No record. So like I don't want Nobody said she has to go to jail. I'm trying. We have an investigation. You're both detained and I've read your rights. That's all we're at right now. So, I need to understand who was in charge of watching the children. Sir, just put blame on Lisa. Okay. So, you were So, you told her that let's go camp. I just I didn't say nothing. Nobody. While Aaron was trying to save his partner from being charged with a crime, he wasn't going to succeed by not giving a direct answer to the sheriff. Of course, by now what happened was painfully obvious to everyone. Okay. So he so close Miranda, she said that he left first and came over here. She was still with the kids. Okay. She woke up says, "I made a huge mistake. I come over." But at the fact where she walks in and starts gambling with him and he knows the kids are still over there unattended. He's just as guilty as child. So they both going to jail. Both parents face felony charges of child neglect, which in the state of Florida can carry up to a 5-year sentence. The Department of Children was called in. And now these abandoned babies will be cared for by the state of Florida. The cases in today's episode prove you shouldn't gamble what you can't afford to lose. It's better to definitely keep your money than to probably lose it and even more than that. It might sound like a cliche, but it's absolutely true. If you have to gamble, gamble responsibly.
