once they secured her in the vehicle the first Deputy filled the other officers in on what happened before they arrived so she came up to me and was like instantly like you want to around I was like I not not getting H in the face like I'm just you're just going to go next the officer spoke to the manager of the store they were informed that the woman was accompanied by a male who also appeared to be intoxicated after a brief search they found the man in front of the store and began questioning him sir are you with this female that we were doing with okay CU you got some ID BOS you have any weap on hey do you have any weapons on you no bring your hands back behind your back you're not under arrest right now spread your legs apart little bit wider please I'm waiting on the ride I ain't just your hands on your we all got our notbook out thank the man claimed that he wasn't with the woman either way as he didn't have any warrants or anything illegal on him he was subsequently released as the cops were busy transporting the woman to the station for booking they then learned she was a single mother and that her children were unaccounted for is there anybody in your car at Walmart where are your kids at no they're not in there cuz here's the deal right now it's if your kids are left somewhere where they're not safe right now then you're going to get charged with something out of that whereas if you tell us and we can make sure your kids are okay then it won't be as big of an issue but if your kids are somewhere alone I don't know how old they are if they aren't old enough to take care of themselves and they're somewhere alone right now you're going to get yourself in a lot of trouble so where are your kids at do you still live in O strander Well's start with this how old are your kids okay if something happens to them you're going to be 100% responsible for it and spend a lot more time in prison for it if something happens if looks could kill the officer should have been dead by then the suspect clearly didn't want to cooperate with the officers it was only after she was informed that as their mother she'd be held fully accountable if anything happened to she was guilty of resisting arrest she had nothing on our next suspect on June 26 2022 the cops were conducting a crime suppression operation at a Walmart when a male suspect was caught on surveillance loading a TV onto a shopping cart and making his way toward the exit but before he could make his escape the officers cut him off I got the receipt yeah we believe that one I do I do you our next suspect did not try to flee from custody he did make a decision he'd come to regret on the 14th of April 2023 an officer received a call about a couple that was shoplifting at Walmart while patrolling the area the officer spotted a man and a woman matching the description of the Suspects stop in the shade both you stop I'm recording sit down right there you're not free to go if you take going on I see the truck is gone where it was parked I'm like so I'm walking across the park T lot and I get by the gas station and I see him walking on the other side of his b and I can tell it's himz ball head shining I said what are you doing what happened we didn't get two seconds and he pulled up and then I was crying and worried about him and I said where's rucky he said the truck's over there and so when he was resting you then then Ken started coming back at him yeah he's like yeah cuz he's like don't throw it down because I have a a her I had to get surgery on stupid I never done a resisting arrest charge and the male suspect Kenneth was charged with aggravated assault resisting arrest and felony retail theft due to a prior conviction while the man's behavior wound up getting him tased our next suspect behaved so aggressively that he was lucky didn't get himself shot on October 27th 2023 police responded to a shoplifting call from Walmart Walmart's loss prevention team informed the officers that the suspect was a passenger in a vehicle making its way off the property the cops caught up with the suspect just as he was ready to exit the parking lot put your hands out Walmart to investigate a fraud claim loss prevention informed the officers that a suspect was seen on video taking two mattresses from a shelf and then bringing them to the return counter after conducting a fraudulent return he then exited the store leaving by behind three female accompli who were suspected of continuing the fraud come here put your stuff on the hood No away your hands do and stolen property and Grand Theft although these women were a lot to handle they were nothing compared to our next suspect on March 30th 2024 police officers from Neptune Township responded to a shoplifting call in progress when officers arrived they met with Walmart's theft prevention team they were shown surveillance footage of a female suspect who was trying to leave the location with two shopping carts full of unpaid merchandise what' she say to you anything so when I first prevented it I'm asking like cuz I'm sitting in my office I'm literally watching her I'm telling my door host yo double check her receipt like I did did she pay for some stuff or no she didn't pay okay gotta so she tried so when I grabbed the there was two people at this door I grabbed one of them to come in the office so I could speak to them and I'm like yo double check her receipt cuz I seen her in Subway like putting herself in reusable shopping bag yeah so I'm like okay whatever so as he comes in she tries to go around the other guy and he like puts his body and stops it so I come out the office I'm like hey do you have a receipt for any of the merchandise you paid for and she said oh I'm trying to look for it blah blah blah blah blah I'm like okay so we're waiting we're waiting I asked her again she starts getting hostile and then I'm like so did you pay for yourself or not and she goes would you like me to pay for my stuff I'm like at this moment no I don't so I took her cart and she said I'm going grab another cart and I'm going to shop again I'm like okay that's that's fine so I I started watching her so I started watching her and um she started selecting the similar merchandise that was in the car and she goes up to my door host and shows cuz some people have a receipt on the phone so they just show the phone like that and so that's what she did and she just kept walking out and there was nothing on the there nothing to back up his story the employee showed the officer evidence of the woman passing All Points of sale and attempting to leave the store with the stolen merchandise not once but twice the officer then watched the woman leaving the store with the stolen merchandise before confronting her excuse me how you doing good um so the law prevention just called us they said that you uh didn't pay for all your items do you have your receipt bro I just showed him my receipt on my phone and my phone died you just showed him the receipt on your phone yes I just showed that my he let me out and my phone died I said I paid for my receipt I showed him the day it's a mo it's a mobile uh Walmart thing I showed him the day and I showed him my receip he said okay you can go okay listen we got my is Lally right there I'm not receip okay can you bring it up my phone died I literally just showed him I showed him my phone's on 2% in all like I just showed right he's just the lpo is saying that there were some items that are possibly unpaid for so we're just confused what are the odds that the suspect's phone died the moment after she showed employees receipt also conveniently the suspect claimed that she didn't have ID on her as she claimed she paid for the merchandise the cops invited her to come back to the store with them to check the records and with that she became aggressive and tried to walk away no you're not leaving you want to be under ARR free unfortunately for her that wasn't going to be the case so what am I arrested for what's the second charge well we're still investigating the shoplifting that you're detained for what's the second well it's got to come off anyway they charged the suspect with shoplifting resisting arrest aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and obstructing the administration of law the total value of the good she attempted to steal was $574 189 the suspect did put up a fight while being arrested but at least she fought back with her hands and not a weapon like our next suspect on November 16th 2023 a shoplifter was confronted by an officer as he and his female accomplice tried to leave Walmart with stolen merchandise when the officer informed the male suspect that he was under arrest things took a turn for the worse hey partner come on come on what you're under arrest for what cuz you and her for what for what don't pull away dude you're under arrest are youing kidding me what am I under pocket I was going to shoot his he's there's another person yeah she's all the way over at grocery side they're in a Min van all right SUV she probably took off as the officer was rinsing his eyes out inside Walmart EMS arrived on scene to treat the suspect and the officer unfortunately if you've been maed in the face there's no magic pill for lessening the effects just keep your eyes open and just try and let the water got a bottle of sa here you want to hold your eye open to got something clear bad guy oh he has it too he got spray too he got a little Perfect Open Your Eyes we're going to put a pack of gum or a shopping cart full of merchandise Walmart has the right to protect its property and entitled shoplifters who who test the law quickly find out what happens when they get humbled by the cops
