[laughter] I'M SORRY. Calm down. >> I don't know. I stopped at the gift shop and all I see is people fighting. I don't >> Because KWAME TRIED TO FIGHT CABRIELLE. I TRIED TO BREAK it up. And then I said, "Look, man, y'all fighting somewhere with the police. Y'all tripping." I'm trying to break it up. They swinging everywhere, so I I swung. Kwame hit Cabrielle in the face. Cabrielle came up and slapped. >> It was a ridiculous mess, but it finally seemed like the cops had gotten things under control. And while the really loud family from Georgia was detained and under the watchful eye of the cops, they still couldn't help but yell insults at each other across the park. >> Do you have any injuries? >> Hey, hey, hey. >> No, no, no. >> Hey. >> You're You're not doing this. Well, shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. >> Who knocked me out? Danny pulled me. >> Malik, hurt >> Danny pulled me. >> Malik, please stop. Please, please, please. Look look what you caused. Did you just pinch me, dude? >> Give me his bag. >> We are under an investigation right now. He is going to collaborate with us. >> Well, you what don't >> We are trying to diffuse this. >> Okay, thank you. >> There was no reason at all. I could take you for to jail for battery to an LEO for touching my You pinched my hand. >> When an officer is conducting an ongoing investigation, don't throw yourself in the middle of it, cause a scene of any kind, or harm the cop in any way. >> Right now, we have three males detained by Orange County. >> Have I yelled at you? >> If you pay and do everything for your brothers and they hate on you, >> Have I yelled at you? >> What y'all got to do, man? Take me downtown. >> The reason why we're doing this is because we need you to calm down. You're escalating the situation. >> my brothers, my family. I paid for this whole damn trip. >> I understand that. >> And I get this. >> We're trying to calm things down and you're you're kind of ramping things back up. >> That's called disorderly. >> I understand. I got a few disorderly conduct charges. I know what I got my disorderly conduct for. I know I was going to get my disorderly conduct when I was working at the fight. >> Can we just stuff him in your car? Can you search him for me, Mr. Canada? >> In total, they searched three of the suspects and put them in the back of the squad cars. The cops reassured them that at the moment, they were not under arrest. They were just being detained for the moment while the cops figured out what started the fight. >> You're not going to jail at the moment, but we're going to place you in a car while we get this all situated cuz we need to get everybody away from here while y'all are secure. I want you away from your group while you're still upset, okay? Can he go in your car? He's got an ID in his back in his back pocket. >> You guys She's got a warrant out. >> Not yet. We haven't had an opportunity. All right, hop up. >> There was no way the cops were going to leave the scene without charging someone. You can't just start a brawl in the middle of a public park and expect to walk away with no consequence. The cops wanted to find out what led up to the dispute and who the primary aggressor was. The only way to find that out was to talk to the witnesses. >> What's all this about? >> Uh a dispute that happened inside the amusement park. We get to the front two of the brothers start arguing. I tried to break it up. They jumped on me. My whole family. >> I saw I mean I saw a melee. >> Yeah, my whole family did. >> Okay. No, that's okay. Um are you guys local or >> We're just here on vacation. >> Are you from Florida or different state or from Florida? >> Okay. So, in Florida, I'm not the one working this is deputy is. Um but in Florida, that's domestic violence and domestic violence is a mandatory arrest. So, we're going to see how this all works out. We've got to talk to all of them. Um but that's why I wanted to know if you were from here or not cuz we have to They're all three are brothers. >> So, who started this whole thing? >> They basically did. >> All three of them? >> see it all. Y'all just standing there. >> They have to go quick like you can't break it up. >> It was the two little ones. >> So, this one wasn't starting nothing or he's trying to break it up? >> brother tried to break up the two little brothers. >> No, he's the oldest brother. He was the one I think I saw him breaking it up and he was he got thrown to the ground. >> The one in the >> He he had a level head though. We told him to stay over there, he stayed over there. We saw how the uh Mr. Williams right here was on the planner, he was not acting calm. So, that's the way it kind of goes in Florida where if there's an affray, meaning a physical altercation, and it's domestic, we have to take action. Okay. I don't think It happened like that. >> One of the witnesses approached the cops saying they captured the brawl on video. The officers looked at the footage and saw that one of the brothers they'd already detained [music] had been trying to break things up. >> Where's the pink jacket at? Let me see him. Hold on. He's out of it in my frame of picture. >> comes in trying to separate it. >> All right, I'm I'm good with letting the pink guy jacket go. All right, we're going to we're going to release him. Turn around and face right here. It doesn't make any difference. >> I'm taking these off of you, okay? We were able to talk to everybody, we realized you're trying to help out. Like I said, we had to secure everybody at first so that we could figure out what was going on, and we know that you weren't part of the fight, okay? >> The cops uncuffed the man in the pink jacket and let him go. He had tried to de-escalate things, which was the right thing to do, but unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for his two brothers. >> Do you understand your rights? Do you want to talk to me? No? >> Yeah. It's nothing. >> It's nothing. This is a family dispute. >> Okay. That's fine. You don't want to You've invoked your right to remain silent. We're going to go ahead and honor those rights, and we're not going to ask you any more questions about these events, okay? As of right now, you're being charged with battery domestic cuz your brothers were involved. Do you understand? No questions will be asked of you, sir. They both invoked. I'm going to need to get my computer out and start typing. >> Because of the fight, you will be filed have filed charges filed with the state attorney's office. You're not going to jail, though. They'll reach out to you if they need you to come back for a court date. It's up to the state attorney's office in in Florida, okay? Um but Disney is going to trespass you, which just means you can't come back to Disney property. So, he's going to read you something and that's how we make it official. >> Advise you you have been trespassed from all Walt Disney World properties to include and not limited to our theme parks, water parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. >> All right, I'm going to give you a copy. You can do with it as you wish. Do you want your copy? Okay, I'm going to toss it for you then, okay? >> The two brothers were charged with domestic violence and they were trespassed from Disney World. [music] On July 31st, 2023, the cops were dispatched to Disney World after reportedly two teens have been caught stealing items from a retail store. When the officers approached them, they saw one of the suspects ditching their items and they immediately took her to the ground and handcuffed her. >> That's all right. We'll get it. I'll get it for you. Don't worry about it. How old are you? >> I don't know. I don't have to. >> If you look over 18, you're going to go to jail for as a Jane Doe. >> I'm not 18. >> Huh? >> That's fine. I'm not 18. I'm not even 21. >> The suspect here was being cagey about her age, claiming she didn't have her ID on. To identify her, the cops would have to get a name, but cooperating with the cops was the last thing on her mind. She could refuse to identify herself all she wanted, but it wasn't going to stop the officer from taking her to jail. >> What's your first name? >> I don't want to talk to you. >> Okay. I mean, this is >> Yeah, that's what I'm here for. >> Listen. I'm trying to make your life a lot easier, okay? Okay? I know. Okay. >> I don't want to say 5501 because then >> if you don't give me your information, your name and date of birth, okay? What happens is you get booked into the Orange County Jail as a Jane Doe. You got it? Because you look like you're over 18. I know 60-year-olds with tattoos. So, you're going to have to prove to me by giving me your name and date of birth that I can I positively identify you if you're 20 or juvenile, cuz you So, you're going to go to the Orange County Jail as a Jane Doe, and you're going to sit in there until they can identify you. >> As the officer explained to her, he was not going to cut her a break. The cops aren't in the habit of just letting people go because they can't identify them. After all, the cops have their ways, and they'd eventually find out who she is. All she was really doing was delaying the process and just [music] making things worse for herself. >> You're coming up to a crosswalk, okay? Hey, kid. You've already, by running and throwing away everything, you've made it difficult. Come on, stop. Just just let me talk, okay? I'm just I'm trying to help you. Okay. If you guys just went back to the office, you guys would be probably walking home right now, okay? Not the situation. I wouldn't be involved because you guys did what you did. All right? Good luck with it. >> Oh, yeah. >> You know what? Oof. California. >> Yeah. >> Double the bond. What's your name? >> I don't want to talk to you. >> Uh, once prior to choosing. Well, if you give me a few minutes to get my car, I have a fingerprint >> I got my car out. Here, I'll pull it up. >> I'll pull it up. Okay. >> I'm saying I have a fingerprint reader in mine if we need to >> 52 5152 back of the house. 52 I'm 19 8 from D15 61 back of the >> There's There's There's uh cards in here with those names on them, too. >> Sir, before we let you get your bike, can you head over here and >> While the cop was busy interviewing the suspect, the other officers were searching through her property. They were looking for the stolen merchandise that she might have tried to hide elsewhere in the park. During their search, they found the woman's identification, and the problem was she had multiple IDs in her possession. >> come back to Universal Florida, Universal Studios Adventure, City Walk, Volcano Bay, any of our resort hotels, and that's for the rest of your life. You can >> Does Does that cover the California one, too, since we're >> So, just make sure that they're not Just letting you know. >> So, just anything at all, if you come back come back and we see you >> Whatever I have damaged the merchandise. >> All right, the last thing I got to do is take your picture now. >> Yeah, cuz some of that merchandise, just because of the fact that you took it, they can't put it back on the shelf, so it's still considered a loss. >> All right, then we're going to take a photo of you in the car. You want to come with me? >> Not really. >> That's it. You can take Thank you. >> Both of these suspects were banned for life from Disney World and all associated parks. But, just because they'd been photographed and trespassed, that didn't mean they were free to go home. >> Stand up. >> You're going to come get a copy of that but she's going to do one at a time anyway, so. >> Whose cuffs are these? >> They're mine. They're all my names, I think. >> Here, bend down. Bend down. One second. >> We have to ask him. I just never really did it. All right. Cuz it's like a >> Do you have anything on you that I should look for first? What are your stamps? >> The suspects might have thought that it was all fun and games, but as far as the cops and the park staff went, they didn't see it that way at all. At that point, the only thing left to do here was take them off to jail so they could be formally charged. >> For what? Ooh, let's go. Go. You were the one who slapped me on the foot? >> Yep. Cuz I knew you would run if I you saw me. >> What was it? >> You've been running from everyone. If you weren't looking at >> I wasn't even running. I was I was speed walking. >> If you weren't looking at your phone and you saw me, what would you've done? You would have turned and ran the other way. >> No, I wouldn't. You know why? >> Why? >> Because you guys would have caught up to me eventually. >> Uh-huh. >> Like we said, they were trespassed for life from Disney World and they also were charged with theft. On the 12th of August, 2024, the cops were dispatched to Orlando International Airport. Reportedly, two cousins there had been involved in a physical dispute. They had just left Disney World and were traveling home with their families. >> How is this not incriminating ourselves? We can talk to you because I tried to leave the situation. >> It's not incriminating. We just want to get the whole picture of the story. >> I'm trying to get y'all the story. >> She's schizophrenic. Back over. >> Okay. >> She was rallying at the people, which y'all can contest with all the records. Y'all can see I even left. I was walking out and she still was coming in. The whole time. The workers, I guarantee if you talked to them, they said they on my side. I was never >> Let me ask you this because this is where I'm having difficulty. >> Okay. >> Trying to figure out the locations of all this. >> The location was from the >> You got delivered here. So, you guys you're arguing Were you ever arguing inside this vehicle? >> It started like it was it started from the the rental >> The rental place. Okay. >> And it just escalated. >> The woman here, Kristen, was understandably worked up. After all, she had just been in a fight with her drunken cousin, Maria. But if the cops are going to get to the bottom of things, they'd have to talk to Kristen and gather some more information. >> So, let me >> The door opens here. You guys see her out here? >> I leave. I get my child. She's running like I'm trying to attack her. I'm like, let's go, bro. Let's go. >> The child or her? >> Me and my daughter. My daughter runs after the vehicle. I don't know where she at. This is my oldest. And my baby me and my baby get our our her uh luggage and we're leaving. Cuz I'm like, whatever. Her son is holding her like a a bear so she won't attack me again. Cuz at this point she has my hair and everything and I'm like, you know what? She has my hair. >> She has your hair on the bus or off the bus? >> On the bus. >> On the bus, okay. And the whole reason for her pulling your hair on the bus >> Because like, I'm like, why would you talk to my child like that? So now we're arguing >> Mhm. >> again. We're arguing cuz I'm like, why would you say that to I don't That's her child. I would never disrespect your child like that. Why would you do my baby like that? >> So that was one side of the story and next up, the officers then talked to Maria, the woman's cousin, to hear her side. And let's just say that she was way more worked up than Kristen, not to mention she was drunk. >> Maria. Come on. >> I'm doing what? >> Come on, baby. >> I GOT I GOT WITNESSES. >> OKAY, SHH. >> He not doing it. >> Let's get her over here so we can Let's get her over Okay, quit talking. Quit talking right now. >> Please don't be a a >> Quit talking. >> I don't want to talk to you. >> You're going to get over here or you're going to get put in the back of my damn car, woman. >> I don't want to talk to you. >> Okay, relax for a second. One >> See, see I don't >> What did we tell you? >> I'm not talking to you. >> You're fixing to go in the back of my car. >> I'm going to get this dude. This is the reason. This is the reason. I'm trying to get the baby Hey, hey, I want to hear what you have to say but I want to get her away from this. So we Let's go over here. I want to get the baby away from this. >> As you can plainly see, she was highly intoxicated. By this point, it seemed like the cop was more concerned about her daughter, who was clearly traumatized by her mother's behavior. Maria was acting like she was ready for a fight, but still though, she was painting herself as the victim. >> She attacked us because >> You're doing what? >> I'm doing it cuz I feel like my daughter always sound better than her daughter, right? >> Okay. >> Y'all You so upset >> ask you guys, got in a heated fight? >> Yeah. >> Sweetheart, you're You want to sit on my my tailgate? You sure? You don't be scared. I got you. DEEP BREATH. OKAY, SO YOU GUYS GOT IN a little bit of an argument. She did what, baby? She slapped her child? Did she slap you? No, no, no, no, no, the other child. She hit her? Okay, okay, now I GOT IT. I just I just want to make sure that she's okay. Okay. Okay, she slapped her. Okay, well, we'll deal with that, but I just want to make sure you're okay. You okay, baby? Okay, you're okay? You're all right? And when you jumped in, I didn't know where to go. Okay, but you can't understand me when you're Do you want me to look at Let me look at your eye. Close your eyes for a second. Let me see. Close your eyes so I don't blind you. How'd she hit you? No, it don't look bad at all. Okay, so what she did was smack you? >> Maria definitely had a black eye, but the cops had to determine who the primary aggressor was. Sadly, the cops were trying to get some answers, but the woman just couldn't stand still. That being said, slowly but surely, the cops were losing their patience. >> Listen up. Listen up. Listen up. Listen. Can you listen to me, please? This is the officer that needs to speak to you, tell you what's going on. Okay, we understand that, but I need to speak with you now. I need to Guys, talk to I'm going to get You don't Ooh, she got there right now cuz she had full authority. We was on a bus. >> Okay, so let's not go down that road right now. >> I don't care. You don't want that. >> Okay, let's stay over here so we can talk about >> No, we can go. >> Stay over >> I didn't do nothing. >> Stay over here. >> You're about to go >> Why would you >> I'm telling you that right now. Stop. >> What did I do? >> You're not in charge here. >> You're not in charge of this. >> This man is >> in charge here. That's it. >> You do not run the show here. You're going to listen to him or you're going to go to jail. I promise you that. >> Okay. >> I'm trying to keep I'm trying to keep >> You're not in charge here. >> Maria told the cops she'd cooperate with them, but that didn't mean she [music] meant it. It was a serious situation she was in, but she was either too drunk or too dumb to understand it. She was incredibly unhinged, and it wouldn't be surprising if she ended up in jail. >> Actually, listen. This is a paper I need you to write and sign. >> I'm not signing anything without a lawyer. I'm not signing anything without a lawyer. >> So, you're going to let >> So, I'm going to I'm going to let my lawyer speak to y'all. I'm not signing it. >> Just listen. >> I'm not signing it. >> I need you to give me a chance to talk to you and explain >> I know. Stay still, mama. I'm not signing it. Is that my right? >> No, it's not. >> Is that my right? Yes, that is. You know that. >> But listen to me. >> You know that's my right. I don't want to sign it. >> Can you please listen to >> You're not going to black person with me. >> Look, what's wrong with You okay? >> I'm not signing it. >> Okay, uh Uh what what do you what do you say? What did you Did you tell her what this is? >> I told her and she doesn't want to sign anything. >> I don't want to sign it. >> Okay, but look, all this is is a tool. You don't have to You don't have >> I don't want to sign it. >> Okay, let me just explain to you what this is, okay? All this is is saying that you are allowing us to leave. Nothing. >> I got to read it. I'm going to read it on my own. >> Right now, it's nothing at all. >> Okay, so what is I'm ready to say you leave it on YOUR I'M NOT SIGNING IT. >> OKAY, that's fine. Just don't You don't have to. >> I'm not signing it. >> That's fine. It's all on video, so it's okay. >> The cops informed the woman that they were just trying to help her, but because the woman wouldn't listen, they couldn't get a word in. She kept trying to walk away from them, and eventually, the cops had had enough. >> You got three lights for that, so let's get uh the kid out of here, okay? >> Really? >> Cool. >> I don't want to sign. I DON'T WANT TO PRESS CHARGES. >> WILL YOU TAKE MY HAND FOR ME? >> to go home. >> Just hold on to me real quick. >> I want to go home. Please don't touch my daughter. Please don't touch my daughter. Please don't touch my daughter. My daughter. WHAT DID I DO? >> WHAT DID YOU >> WHAT did I What did I I did I did I did >> Turn my back, turn back. Turn around. I did I did nothing. I did nothing. I did nothing. >> They charged Maria with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and battery. >> [music] >> On June the 12th, 2022, in Orlando, Florida, there was a couple there in a drunken argument, and the female, whose name was Sophie, claimed that her boyfriend had abused her. But as you know by now, things aren't always as they seem. >> Do you know what happened? >> When cuz a little bit of drinks, he gets a little crazy. >> All right, that's not telling me a whole lot though. >> Well, I I honestly I don't know if he like maybe like pushed me. I But I didn't like put myself in any other way, you know? >> So, just to give you a heads-up, security getting and seeing what they have located him. So, we're going to all go together and contact with him and see what happens from there. Hopefully, you guys can take you get your stuff and he gets his stuff and then >> Well, I don't know Can I still like enjoy my time here? Yeah? >> I just most likely for him he's not going to be able to stay on property. >> That's fine. >> She wanted to stay and enjoy the park for a while, so she asked the cops to escort her boyfriend, Cristiano, out to his vehicle. That way, the man could gather his belongings and go home. But they weren't just going to do that just because she told them to. >> So, you're telling me now he put his hands on you today? >> I mean, where else would I get this? >> Okay, this this cannot be an assumption. >> I know, obviously. >> If you're telling me that he put his hands on you >> I mean, I wouldn't have gotten this any other way. I'm not going to scratch myself. >> Okay. But the way you're telling me is you're just assuming that he put his hands >> did. He did. Cuz it's not I have pictures of him putting It's not the first time he's like tried to choke me out. >> Where's my wife? So, he tried to choke you out today? >> Well, I don't know how other else like if he I feel he would do this to me, you know? >> That's what I'm asking you, right? Yeah, I I cannot I cannot just go off an assumption. Okay. >> It's not the first time he's >> Basically, she accused her boyfriend of putting his hands on her and essentially choking her. But when the officer asked her to describe the altercation, she was evasive and vague about the details. Next up, out in the parking area, they interviewed Cristiano. >> All right, what happened? >> All right, so as uh they did a call over the intercom saying that the park's closing >> Mhm. >> the lightning and made her mad. So, I said to All right. Obviously, I seen it in her face. I know her for a few years. She's a little intoxicated. I said, all right, well, you stay there and I'mma start heading out. So, as I was trying to leave she went ahead and started scratching me, pinching me, pushing me. And I was like, all right, come on now. Look, you got a lot of people here that I said there was two employees that worked at Volcano Bay. It was a short lady and a taller lady. And I said, yo, can you call security? She's like, you for real? I was like, yes. She's like, okay. She kept walking. She called security. So, I said, look, now you got the security involved. You see you're acting up. You got a lot of So, the one guy came over and said, hey, come come over here. Let's talk it out. As they were calming her down, I said, oh, I got to go. Cuz this this already knows a fiasco with these people. So, as I was leaving, I said, hey, I'm going to get my stuff. I go to the locker room and tell the the girl, hey, this is the locker number. I need my wallet and my ID so I can get proceed to leave. And she's like, well, I got to check first. I said, no problem. Here. I said, here's my wallet. Open it up. So, this is me, right? Smile. This is my ID. I'm not taking it out. I put her wallet back inside, close the locker. As I'm walking away, she's like, you're leaving da da da. Got aggressive. And then I just took off. >> Cristiano admitted they'd been in a verbal argument, but as far as getting physical with her, he vehemently denied it. The man's story was detailed and he pretty much came off as honest and believable. One of these two was lying and the cops needed to know who. >> Her story was just God awful. I mean, dude, I mean, this this is crazy. Worse with her her story is literally well, I don't know what else would have happened. She got a mark right here. I'm like, that's not that's we're not I'm not going under an assumption that it's something like that. >> How else would it happen? There's plenty of ways it could >> I'm like, do you want a ride? Like, it could happen on a ride. Okay. Cool. >> You're not getting in the car. Unlock the car. >> I'm going to still >> Stay out of the car. >> I know. I'm just unlocking it. >> Stand over here. Get what you need to get out of the car, please. >> I have an iPad on the left side. There we go. That's the iPhone I was telling you about. >> Okay. >> I have it in my backpack and I have a wallet on the door side. >> Okay. >> My hat. My Yeezys. >> Here. You get this shirt. >> You said a wallet? >> Where's my wallet, Sophie? >> Did you find it? >> Yeah, I got it. >> You got all your stuff? >> That's it. >> All over Cristiano's arms, he had scratches and small cuts. And when the officers asked him about it, he admitted to them that his girlfriend did it. However, Cristiano shrugged it off saying it was no big deal and said he didn't want to press charges. >> She's a really good girl. Don't get me wrong. >> I'm not saying I'm not saying she's not. >> She's a really good girl. She's got She turned 21, drinking just went sky high and she doesn't know how to control herself. Between if me and you were drinking and we were drinking with her, she'd be acting out a fool and we would all have the same amount of drinks. You know what I'm saying? And then she'll go over the board >> Mhm. >> and I'll chill out and then I'll chill cuz there was three people and they were told her, "Hey, slow down." She was getting aggressive, walking, pushing people. I'm like, "Yo, so it's time to like correct her, be a be a man." I'm like, "Hey, babe, look, I know like and we don't have to act like we're 21. >> We're We're adults now. You're in You're in a big >> Yep. I got you. >> 20, and I'm 19. We're not in Miami. We're not in Florida. We don't know these people. You're in a family >> Yeah, I get you. >> And you talked to the employees that said that I was >> I don't know. They'll tell you, bro. I was I was super embarrassed. And I was like, "Yo, get her, please." Because all she had to do is say I hit her. >> And then what? >> What are you going to do? Beat you? >> I got you. I got you. >> You know what I'm saying? Yeah, she's scrawny, little skinny girl, but I'm I'm not a man to let a woman beat >> I'm not saying no one. >> Yeah, no, I'm just saying, man. These people are looking at me like, "Oh, you let her talk to you that way?" What am I supposed to do? Beat her? And then go to jail because my pride didn't let the let let her talk to her that way? I'll let her do her own She'll bury her own grave. Scratching, there's cameras all over the I already know. So, I'm not here worrying. I'm not aggressive. I'm chilling. >> By that point, the officers felt that they had enough evidence to make an arrest. And while Cristiano didn't want to press charges against her, the state of Florida was obligated to charge her on Cristiano's behalf. >> I'm going to take you back. >> You're going to arrest me? Why? >> I'll explain to you all that in a second. >> Wait, but no. >> Stop. Sit back. Sit back. Sit back. I'm going to explain all this to you in a second, all right? >> Please, no. Wait. Why me, though? Because they said they didn't want to press charges? >> Nothing to do with that. >> But what did I do? >> Sit in the car. I'm going to explain everything everything to you. >> Can I at least have my phone? >> Yes. Sit in the car. >> But what did I do? >> Sit in the car. >> Whether Sophie was playing dumb or just genuinely confused, she continued to act like she had no idea why she was being arrested. As the officer told her, if she would just be quiet and sit down in the cruiser, he'd be more than happy to tell her why. >> He told me that it was something that happened, okay? You couldn't tell me anything about what happened, okay? But he has a very specific, detailed account about what happened with injuries, okay? >> And I don't >> I just I just told you to listen. >> Okay, I'm just saying that. >> Okay? And I do a very good job at this. Okay? Based off you guys' relationship, okay? You guys are dating. Right? It makes it dating violence. Okay? Based off of the incident that I have from him, that he put on a sworn statement, you are identified as a primary aggressor. That is why you're being arrested. Okay? I gave you every opportunity multiple times to tell me about what happened. You couldn't give me any sort of story. >> have ever done this to somebody. That's why. Please, can I do it now? >> Then when you guys go to court, you guys figure it all out. But I go off of what I have right now, and that's that. Get in the car. >> Please, please. >> Sit in the car. >> Please. >> Sit in the car. Sit in the car. >> They charged the woman with domestic violence. On April 28th, 2023, at Universal Studios in Florida, security saw a woman taking a backpack from the Hello Kitty store and leave without paying. She was trying to hide it in a bag on her stroller, which contained other stolen merchandise. She was taken to the loss prevention office, where she waited for the cops. >> Every single one of these Hello Kitty still has a hang tag on it. Take a step back. >> How much is it? >> Can you just show me the hang tag? >> Yeah, I know. I thought you would take that you would take it off. >> Yeah. >> I got to take this off. >> Say that again, Bravo. >> Not everything cuz I got >> I got the initial party requesting I meet you now to take them >> Say that >> All right. >> I need a copy of your copy. >> And that's what he was carrying, right? >> He was carrying this. >> Um >> This is her her >> Yeah. >> It was one of these. >> That's the one that >> Yeah, that's why I took it. And then this is the one that she that that we used it for removing take out and stuff. >> And then where are those key chains that I took out of her bag? There was a few. >> I'm going to do it on a Word document that way I can just cut and paste it. There's a couple here and then a few over here. >> Yeah, those were all the ones that I took out. >> Yeah, and then like this was the other bag that she had. >> Yeah, I remember. >> It's the same. >> The thing is I don't know. >> How much? >> Yes, you heard that right. She had more than $1,200 worth of stolen merchandise and almost all of it was plush toys. If she was okay with stealing that much merchandise, there was a pretty good chance it wasn't her first time doing it. She might even be a serial shoplifter. >> You guys went into Was it a Hello Kitty store over there? Yeah. >> Yeah, that's right as the backpack is coming across the street store and that's where I got it. >> Okay, so why did you take the backpack without >> I shouldn't have. I should have left it in there. I can't get her card out of her little Wolverine um fanny pack. >> Okay, so she >> When I got out of the store, she said my fanny pack is there. I just got it, went across the street. >> with the stroller? >> My husband was with the stroller. That's my 15-year-old that he's in the restroom. So when I got back, he's gone and my 15-year-old son is there with our stroller. >> Okay. And then so you left the store with the backpack to get >> her card out of her fanny pack. Her fanny pack that she wanted. >> Where was your purse at? Your your Coach purse? >> That was on me. >> Okay, so that has money in it. Why wouldn't you pay for it? >> Cuz she's paying her own money. She's got water bottle sales, chocolate sales. She wants to spend her money. That's our money for competition. I stole the Coke $1,000 when we get there. >> Okay. Wait, you have >> have plenty of money to buy whatever. That's the That's not That's why I'm pissed off right now cuz I have it. >> She said that technically she didn't steal the merchandise and she told the cops that she crossed all points of sale and then went outside because she had to get some money. According to her, she'd get some money from her daughter and then go back inside and pay. >> Does your daughter have your phone? >> Oh, yes. >> Okay. And you had a phone, too? So, why wouldn't you call your daughter to come into the store? >> My daughter was with me. She was with me and >> So, why wouldn't she go out to get her money and come back in? >> walk out of the store. I took a seat right here by the door when she was standing by the door. I She watched me look for everything. I'm talking to my kid about where their dad is when they get there because he's not there. So, I'm them having the conversation with the backpack then they come up to me This is not She was buying more stuff. She was holding more stuff in the store that she was going to purchase, too. So, what if it's the backpack she's going to buy? >> Well, so the the distance of what, maybe 10 ft? You didn't feel comfortable enough leaving your daughter in the store. >> No, she stayed in the store. >> [music] >> Well, that's what I'm saying. I'm sorry, you didn't feel comfortable enough to let her go to the stroller where your older son was at. >> No, I wanted to make sure all my kids I didn't have to see him there. I didn't see him there. That's why I walked across cuz it was only my 4-year-old, my 3-year-old, and my 15-year-old son. So, I didn't see him. >> Did >> That's why I walked >> Did you see him leave your daughter alone with >> No, my 15-year-old, yes. >> Okay, so >> He was with my babies. >> Okay, but if you saw him with the stroller like you just [music] said, he was standing there with the stroller with the babies. >> I walked across the aisle. >> letting your daughter walk to the stroller to get the money? >> know. I don't know. >> I'm just trying to understand what happened. >> Then I crossed the aisle, I just go across, get her thing, come back, buy all the stuff she wanted. >> So, it was like you just stepped out there and you just forgot [music] to put the bag. >> So that was her excuse for the bag she stole from Hello Kitty, but stuffed in the woman's stroller they found nearly $1,200 in stolen goods. But still though, she had an excuse for everything. >> Did you buy that today? >> I have the receipt for this. >> Yeah, but did you buy that today? >> Yes. >> Okay. So you bought that today, the receipt for that is in your bag. >> No, they already showed it. They took it out. >> Yeah, I know cuz I found it in your bag. Okay. Um why wouldn't the receipts for the other merchandise be in your bag? >> This is all I bought. >> Okay, so where did the other merchandise come from? >> money. I said I don't know. My husband's by himself. >> Okay, but you're in possession of a stroller. >> Okay, but I walked Okay, my husband was standing with the stroller with all my kids. I walked across thing looking for my husband that had the stroller and he was gone. I was like told my oldest >> Okay, I understand. I'm not asking about the backpack anymore. I'm asking about all the other merchandise that was found in the stroller. >> I don't know. >> So that just You were never with your husband in any other store by yourself? >> was with him the whole time. >> So why don't Why aren't there any receipts for that? >> There might be. He said that everything he he has receipts for, which he's looking for right now, but he said that he took two backpacks. That's what he told me. So I'm I'm out right now. He said, "All I did was take two backpacks." >> So you were So like you said, none of the cameras of the store will show you with him at any point >> No. >> in the store? >> No. >> Okay. Um I mean that's a lot of merchandise and a lot of that stuff has the security tags still on it. Do you not think that was weird why it had security tags >> I didn't look at anything he bought. He was like all excited, "I bought this for so-and-so. I bought this for so-and-so." >> Did you find it weird that >> So I thought that he had money to buy it. >> Did you find it weird that it was >> I didn't think it about it at all. >> Did you find it weird that he brought the merchandise to you not in bags? >> They were in bags. [music] >> Well, when we were standing out here at the restaurant he walked up and none of the merchandise he had in his hand was in a bag. walked >> up, I didn't see what he walked up, but what every other time he's walked up to me, he has had bags. >> Her strategy to keep herself out of trouble was to blame it all on her husband. But even if her husband was a kleptomaniac, like the officer pointed out, she'd have to be incredibly blind to miss all the warning signs. >> You saw her in the store walking with the stroller and all those bags. >> No. No, the stroller was over at the restrooms when I first clocked her. I was walking up from north deeper in the park, approaching the restrooms and the I was in the store approaching restroom on my left. >> So the only thing you saw her take from the store was that bag? >> Yes. So what I saw was I saw her with the stroller. I saw her leave the stroller across the street and walk from the stroller into the store. Since [music] I had observed there was a lot of merchandise in the store, I thought I'd walk just walk in the store as well just to observe what she did. I observed her approach the display for the backpack. So you can see her sling the backpack over her back over her right shoulder and then her exit the store without paying and go directly back to the stroller which she was at the store. She took possession of it, tried to bag up the backpack which she had not paid for in a bag that she had from the store. >> Got you. So why did you put the backpack inside the merchandise bag? >> I set it on top. It was sitting on top. I had not put it anywhere. I was more worried about why my kids were not being watched by [music] my husband. Yes, my 15-year-old daughter was there, but she had I had a two little babies at home. >> Okay, so is that >> I remember telling my son I was going to the restroom and then he was wrong. >> So the LPO from the store is saying that you were trying to put it into the merchandise bag. >> No, I had it on top. Like I said, the bag was open. I put it on top. I'm talking to my son like where is your dad? Blah blah blah. I left my daughter in the head of the kids department. The price tag was back in there with her. >> Why did you set the backpack on top? >> I I don't know. I shouldn't have. It was just like a like a fast thing. Like I said, I've never stolen anything out of my life. >> So the So the bag The bag was open and you put the bag on top. >> It wasn't open. It was on the thing. I saw it on top of the bag. So, the bags are closed. Paid over and I saw it right there. >> Clearly, the cops here weren't buying it. If it was only the backpack she'd been accused of stealing, her excuse might have made sense. But, she wasn't going to talk herself out of this as it was nearly $1,200 worth of merchandise with the security tag still on it. >> Can you tell me where she got it? >> This time you're already under arrest. You're under arrest. >> Are you serious? My daughter's not a criminal. >> Yeah, the clothes doing it. Can you put your hands together like you're praying? >> [music] >> Like you're praying. Like your palms together. Do you want to leave the property with her husband? >> So, you're going to go to jail for something I didn't do? >> Uh well, I mean you did walk out of the store without paying for merchandise. >> I mean the bags I did pay for. That I have in my possession. >> That's the problem, ma'am, is that after the fact, after the crime's committed, everybody wants to uh to you know, rethink their initial decision. >> my daughter's competition. >> So, you'll have a bond. You'll have a bond. So, um if you have the money, then you can bond out. If not, then Your husband, we're going to give all of the property that belongs to you to him. Is that okay? That way [music] things doesn't get lost in the mix. >> toy and my son's toy? >> You can just have a seat right there. >> After searching the woman, the total of stolen merchandise was $1,135. As a result, she was charged with grand theft in the third degree. On the 5th of April, 2024, the cops are dispatched to Legoland after reportedly a family had gotten into a brawl in front of onlookers. When the officers got there, they immediately encountered one of the family members and began asking [music] questions. >> Well, it wasn't that long ago, but she took her bags and she left. Um She was on the phone on FaceTime or something and I got to complaining to her like, "You know, you need to get off of FaceTime. This is a family vacation. We don't want to be on FaceTime with you, you know, this, this, that, and the third." So, she was getting upset and then and then dirty words started getting thrown and she just started saying angry things, you know, as far as uh we're weird and uh y'all, you know, I mean, just a lot of dumb little words. Um So, she had the remote, what kind of took the trigger as far as >> reported in one of the cell phones. >> Um She had the remote control in her hand. >> Mhm. >> So, when I went to go get the remote from her, she just snatched it. So, I walked around and I said, "You know what, Brandia?" I said, "This is the last time that you will disrespect me." >> Since the family argument got physical, somebody was certainly going to be charged, but the cops had to get more details. As a result, they had more questions for the mother and one of her daughters. >> So, then how did the fight happen? >> She was like touching me. She touched I said, "Touch me." She said, "Touch me." >> [music] >> We in each other's face. Her She touched me. >> did you guys get to that point? >> Cuz she wanted to keep yelling and stuff all in my face. >> Okay, and then she >> Because and I I actually I was quiet all the way up until the point where she wanted to get in my mom's face and kept getting in my mom's face. >> And then what happened? >> And when she got in my mom's face, I stood close to my mom and like, "You're not going to touch my mom." >> Okay, I got you. >> So, like I said, I was defending my mom. >> So, then after that, she got mad and she went and got in your face and you went and >> [cough and clears throat] >> Yeah. >> Okay, and then what happened? >> She kept getting in my mom's face. >> Okay, okay. >> Touch me. >> Why for? >> We was touching each other. >> Okay, seven. [music] >> She said, "Touch me." She touched me. Then she wanted to get in my mom's face and >> Did she push you? I want to say she did push her. Cuz she pushed her into me and we fell. >> The officer informed the mother that the other cops were out front having a chat with the daughter that the family had the fight with. The daughter, whose name was Brendia, was saying that her mother had hit her and in domestic violence cases, that's enough to make an arrest. Even if the mother really was innocent, she'd have to plead her case in court. >> I totally understand your version of the story. I get it. But the state of Florida does not leave us any room for anything else. >> to bail out tonight. I'm not worried what I mean. >> You get booked till Monday. That's the first night. >> Oh God, please don't do that. >> Contact them to get us out now to come and get y'all police. >> No, they >> Now she's saying mommy hit her. >> I want to tell you the truth. We're here to tell you the truth. I'm not going to We're not going to hear go around the bush like all of these people. We're just going to drop it how it is. Okay? >> I understand. >> All right. >> I understand. >> So what I never even pressed for a formal gun. That would help. >> Oh. No, I didn't. Yes, I did. >> The cops were questioning Brendia, who was accused of being the primary aggressor. Although she claimed she was just defending herself, she was also accused of throwing punches. As a result, she got the very same treatment as her mother. >> The third saying like Well, she has marks on her, scratches. Same day Exactly. I makes sense. You're her sister? She's your sister? >> Yeah, we're >> I'm facing a felony. So, if you don't know there's an allegation towards you, So, what do you want to do with your property? All right, I'm just going to let you pray. This is what you said earlier. Just So, I know what you said earlier. Do you have anything on you or yourself right now? So, if you're going to go to jail, this is your procedure, so felony. >> From the back of the squad car, the mother showed the officer cell phone footage, and it clearly depicted Brandy as the main aggressor. Although it wasn't much evidence, it was enough for the officers to cut the mother a lucky break. >> I'm going to do a complaint affidavit on yours. I mean, I can say for sure these two are going. We can do a complaint affidavit, which is it's not saying that we're not filing the charges. We're going to have the state look at your side of of it, and we'll decide. >> Oh, okay. >> But, I need you to make sure that officer gets the the video. All right. >> I swear to God. They had a knife with them. >> But, you need to in the future don't even don't even get involved in it. But, they're grown adults. >> they are. >> You know what I'm saying? >> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. >> And unfortunately, you have to let them make decisions on their own. Tell them not to do it. >> I know. >> They They don't want to do it, call the police. >> Yes, sir. >> You know? >> Yes, sir. I don't know yet. I'm so sorry. >> Now, I don't know what the state will do. If the state decides that they're going to uh press the charges, then >> I I don't run from the police. I ain't did anything wrong. 30 >> you didn't tell the cuffs off? >> I didn't take them off. They literally came off. >> How How'd they come off? Too loose? You got to You slid your hand out of it? >> No, this one was like This one was. >> Okay. And they just fell off? Like they just fell off. You got to say it. >> They literally like >> Okay. So, have an understanding once you get back home. I'll try to get out of them. You got to keep them on. You're going to be charged with escaping and that's a felony. Right now, you're charged with a misdemeanor. If you want to get charged with a felony, you got to spend a lot more time down here than you want to. All right? That That carries prison time. Do you understand that? >> At the end of things, all the suspects were charged with domestic violence. >> [music] >> On the 26th of January, 2024, in Orange County, the cops are dispatched to Disney World after reportedly, a fight had broken out. When the officers got there, they talked to a man who was covered in visible injuries. >> Hello, what's going on, man? What's going on? >> We were sitting at the bar >> [music] >> and uh some people with that section to him and they threw a glass at him and everything. >> Okay, we got a Reedy Creek coming for you, a medical, okay? >> You do have them coming? >> Yeah. Okay, 361 Bravo. >> I'm good, thanks. >> 10-12 with one half of party, uh white male, weak in breathing. He's got injury to his face and blood. Had a glass thrown at >> Yeah, they took like a glass and threw a glass at his >> Okay. >> The man was saying that the entire thing was just a big misunderstanding. He said they were enjoying themselves with another group of people and it was all smiles and laughter until someone took offense and threw a glass, which struck his friend, Brent, in the the >> Who threw the glass at you? >> An unknown person. I mean, it was just a a guy or a girl. All I know is they threw the glass at me. Splashed on me and then they >> Are you cut or is that just blood? >> Oh, no. I'm cut. >> Okay. All right. Okay. >> No, I think that's a cut. I definitely got a cut. I'm cut in a couple places. They just threw it. >> Okay. Let me ask you, sir. Do do you want to press charges? >> Yeah. >> No, you don't. >> Whoever did this to me deserves to know that. >> You're you're fine. >> Well, he he's the victim. So, if he wants to press charges, we should do that. Do you know who who threw it at you? Against his friend's advice, Brent reiterated that he wanted to press charges. He described one group as Caucasian in their mid-40s and both female and male. Thankfully, though, other cops had already tracked them down. >> Can you go talk to them and see what you get from them and I'll talk to him. >> Well, what did what did they say? >> Okay. So, he started making fun of their daughter that has Down syndrome and she was grunting and that pissed them off. And he was like, "She's acting grunting. I don't like that." The mom gets up and says, "Hey, don't talk about my daughter that way. She's got a special dis- She's a dis- She's disabled." And he keeps grabbing and pushing her. >> Grabs and pushes them off? >> Yeah. And she falls back and then she was like, "No, you effing not going to do that." So, he grabs her face and shoves it on the ground. And she falls to the ground. She's got bruising on her knees and bruising on her face. The daughter comes to the mom's defense and slaps the daughter across the face. And that's when the daughter's husband starts hitting him in defense of wife getting attacked. >> Okay. >> I didn't get where the glass came from. So, that part is missing. >> Talk to them outside so that way you both have the stories from both sides so you all can have two and see kind of what you're talking she talked to that side and then she's going to talk to them you talk to them so that way you two are the ones that actually know you said something >> So it sounded like the cops were getting two very conflicting stories and if what the other party was saying was true Brent was going to be in serious trouble to get to the bottom of things the officer approached the other group and started asking [music] questions. >> We were sitting here and he was making fun of my sister who has special needs. >> Okay. And what was he saying? >> So my sister >> Sorry, first off who was saying that stuff? >> I don't I don't know his name but the person >> him kind of? >> The tall guy there with the lightish hair. >> Is he going to have the injuries to his face? Okay. So he's what is he saying? >> So my sister grunts when she gets excited or frustrated. >> Okay. All right. Right. >> And he and she was excited because we were having a good time. We're having a nice we're we're staying here on the fourth floor. And we've been here for a few minutes and she's grunting and she's grunting and you know it's to us it's nothing it literally is nothing when she grunts. >> You're used to it right? All right. >> And he keeps grunting and he keeps grunting and we're actually not sure if it was like a it was a response to what my sister was doing or if he has his own like little grunt thing. And then eventually it got to the point where it was very clear. >> So what was he doing what was he saying? >> He was getting louder and louder. >> But what was he saying? >> Grunting. >> What as soon as he would start grunting he would grunt. So he was like >> As soon as my sister grunted he imitated he got very irritated. >> All right, great work. >> He went went explain that it was his mother who had offense and was asking Brent if he had a problem saying that her daughter had special needs. He said that right at that moment Brent repeatedly shoved his mother. >> And and and at that point my mom is like All due respect. Like you're not going to shove me, right? And so she shoved him back and then it got physical. >> And when you're saying physical, yeah, are we >> Fists being thrown? >> I don't know if there was spitting or pushing. >> I don't know if it was like >> More pushing? >> It was a lot of pushing and pulling back and like I don't That's what I remember. It was a it was a hurricane. It was It was very I I I couldn't tell you what had happened after that in any sort of order. But I know that my my wife here is sitting right here closest to me. Got It just wanted to protect. My wife did not throw any punches, anything like that. Got in between and he actually slapped my wife, punched my wife. I don't I don't know if it was a punch or a slap, but >> In the face? >> In the body, in the face. Grabbed [laughter] and then slapped. I remember that very vividly. >> He grabbed her >> Grabbed by the shoulders, the top of the shoulders and then either slapped or punched. I don't remember if it was open or a closed fist. >> Does she have any injuries, do you know? >> Yes. Like a tear >> Okay. >> And it was here >> have injuries? >> No. >> No. Is Do you mind if I ask Do you know whose blood that is on your shirt? >> Not >> That's it. Okay. >> After examining the woman's injuries, the man the officer had been speaking to said that the moment Brent slapped his wife he hit Brent back twice in retaliation. He said at that point some people jumped in and separated them. >> When did the glass get involved? The glass? >> He he was saying that he was hit in the head with a glass, like a a I have no idea what kind of glass I'm Like a drinking glass. >> I honestly have no idea what >> Was there even a glass involved? >> I I honestly don't know. That's the first time I heard about glass. I'm not saying it didn't happen or it did happen. I just don't >> I would I would imagine there would be glass on the floor though if if there was. Can you Can you find someone see if like with Disney if anything was swept up or cleaned? >> Someone's got to check. Honestly, this guy's a I can't believe he assaulted my So >> So I I I asked I asked all my victims if they want to prosecute which means to send them to jail and we'll testify in court. So >> We're not going to be able to come to court because we're only here for a week. So I don't know what that involves. >> It would probably come up all right, come back up to Orange County to the point where we can drive up. >> Yes. >> I mean, press charges on this guy. >> You can always change your mind at a later point. >> Honest. Okay, so you want to You want to press charges. >> After talking to the Disney staff, the cops determined that no glass had been cleaned up in the area where the fight happened. In other words, as far as the injuries on Brent's face went, they couldn't have come from a glass being thrown in his face. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> What's going on? Why? What the hell? What the hell? I need an explanation. >> Well, he's being arrested. There's your explanation. >> Why is he being arrested? >> Cuz he just battered four individuals. >> Battered? >> Yes, sir. All right. This guy. >> No, I didn't >> Okay, 36 in the lobby. What's up? Turn around. Look at him real quick. All right. >> So just let you know, you will be trespassed from Disney and they're going to put that filter with your trespass warning. Go ahead and take a seat. >> Thank y'all so much. I'll be back tomorrow. >> And I will get the AC going for you. >> Thank you. >> You like it colder or warmer? >> Oh, we're good. >> The man was trespassed from Disney World and he was charged with four counts of battery. At the end of things, the ride stopped, the vacation vibes disappear, and reality was hitting way harder than any roller coaster ever could. Because while Disney usually feels magical, there are still those moments when somebody gets arrested.
