woman she tried to hide a tequila bottle worth $100 in her purse thinking she could get away with it it was only when she noticed that store security was on to her that she placed the bottle back so what happened um it was just a bottle of of that big bottle of cost amigos amigos uh she just put it in her purse and she had a couple other things she went to the register and her cart was not going and so she was asking people in line okay so she was standing at the register with it in her purse yeah and had scanned the other items without that bottle uhhuh okay and so um the car didn't go through so she's actually people to use their phone and stuff and so she kind of start figuring it out okay and this is in the liquor department uhhuh and so she went to the aisle took took the bottle out and then put it down okay and then I grabbed it I gave it to the cashier of course and then that's when we was exited out and that's when y was there okay she wasn't necessarily resisting the arrest but she did try to drag things along a bit she still claims she'd done nothing wrong and also insisted she had wrist problems that prevented her from wearing handcuffs isn't that an interesting coincidence saying she's Dy okay she's willing to have her fingerprints taken sure all right we're going to go back to the station they were going to go with retail theft put the bottle in your purse and it was clear that you were concealing the bottle but I I put it back either way um give me another chance I'll put it not this time around so go ahead have you turn around face towards the wall her real name was in fact Tamara and the fact that she had other valid warrants for retail theft the suspect was then taken in for theft obstruction of justice and bail jumping charges prior to being escorted to the wesaw county jail now for starters these next officers had to work on Christmas Eve so that was probably a bummer to begin with what made their day even worse though was this next ended up spending a couple days in jail for these retail charges did she stop shoplifting no way in fact she went on the run a while later after being charged for a similar offense if you can't help but shake your head at the audacity of some of these people out here I don't blame you from Karen's trying to steal someone's furry friend to elderly couples attempting a Walmart Heist it's truly been quite the ride thankfully in the end justice prevails even if bystanders sometimes need to intervene to help officers Save the Day
