Madison Avenue in Worcester Ohio officers made contact with the Honda Civic and the passenger in the back seat started to act strangely he refused to look at the officers and stated that he did not know his social security number he gave the wrong name royford Wesman to the officers and when they were asked to step out of the vehicle the suspect Chad Trent started walking away with his two dogs here's what happened with Trent before he lost his beautiful haircut [Applause] stop we got leashes for those things I hope you got leashes for those dogs I hope yeah okay all right does everybody me get up and catch my dog nope no your dogs are going to town going Tak over even after losing his wig Trent continued to fight with officers Officer McConnell returned to the vehicle and asked if they could search it the driver told him that her license was suspended officers searched her in the vehicle and found no Contraband in either but in the back seat where Trent was sitting they found a Black Backpack they searched through the bag and didn't find any backup wigs they did however find a digital scale numerous plastic baggies and a folded piece piece of paper that contained crystal meth none of the occupants acknowledged that the bag was theirs but the front seat passenger threw his friend under the bus and said that it was his inside the officers also found that the name Amber was written on the inside of the bag and patrolman shuy stated that Trent's girlfriend's name was Amber blankin ship like 500 probably in 20s and stuff on oh he does yeah Chad Trent yeah they're they're individually packag for like uh there's there's there there you go yeah no just baggies sure baggies in a scale you me hold that yep there's that I'm sure you're going to want that he might have he might have dope on him or it's it's in the back seat somewhere car I didn't check the back seat yet we do have check this bag yeah yeah you're welcome to if you want to well it's just painful to watch you right now you don't want the phone yet there's a bunch of phones in there let me go let me go look at the back seat see if he shoved something e the female Amanda bowling was given a traffic citation Amanda and the front seat passenger Douglas Thompson went on their way and Chad Eugene Trent was escorted to the Wayne County Jail you just doing your sight and they were're good yeah at this point yep I don't think there's anything more dope yeah there's dope oh in the back yeah there there was there's math in there meth a scale and baggies whose is it we know uh I they're saying it's Chad's he of course denied it's his bag right um name who it could be though no I'm going to take it back and go and make sure that it you know uh we inventory it and go through it talk to you he's all calm down now I was talking with him's just go ask just tell him I suppose you look at your prior shop see if he had that back well I know it's his I just no no no what do you want to do with the dope you want us to take it what do you want to do I don't care it's it's it's up to you guys I mean whatever's easiest for you if you if are you in charge him on it today no I wasn't going to book him on it okay you're just booking on the warrant yeah obstructing or yeah was he already checked he's good I guess we proba get there's no reason why we all got to stand out here Stacy she getting a ticket for that but you can get that taken care of oh okay so you need to go to court and it's uh next Tuesday so 6 days from today at 8:30 :30 in the morning okay that's your next court date yes the 25th okay it's going to be on your copy of the ticket at the top um I'm you because you can't drive I need you to pull off the off the roadway and park the car neither of you guys has a license so said work on getting the license driver absolutely uh can I pull just into that parking lot is that okay you can pull in there as a matter of fact if you want if you want to pull through that parking lot and pull into the gas station you can right there that' be even better you can go to the gas station and wait and and hang out in there okay do you have any questions no no I don't after the scene was cleared up the dogs were eventually captured as they were running wild and they were turned over to a friend of Chad's neither of them were hurt a search of Chad revealed two knives concealed in his waistband and now it was time for the booking Chad was charged with possession of drugs drug paraphernalia resisting arrest obstruction and falsification he was fined $200 for resisting and was sentenced to 15 days in jail he was also placed on two years probation and had to perform 100 hours of community service Chad also had to complete an alcohol and Drug Assessment so unless you'd like to be taken down to the ground and pay a $200 fine it's best to listen to the officer's instructions CS
