out of control Jessica wymer used to rent a room at Cody Hopkins home she had left the previous day fearing Cody's increasingly violent Behavior but when she came back things were even worse Jessica told told the police that Cody was in her room screaming and calling himself the devil was somewhat War all right just start at the beginning so when did you guys start fighting or disagreeing arguing what happened so I left [Applause] weird weird as in see sh sh about stuff somebody named Cody you said now are you in a relationship with Cody no but you live in the same residence okay okay so you came back and he was in my room okay it was weird he just started being weird and as the night went on he started he came upstairs after a f night and he started showing us paperworks paperwork of okay so he left the house came back in no like no no like it was in a bedroom but like he kept like walking in out of the bedroom and then uh he went downstairs the last time like the TT he went downstairs uh he started screaming like stop and he P turns off the porch and I ran downstairs and then he had a baseball bat hitting the side of his porch with it the side of what and he his side of his porch like railing type things he was hit in his house with it and then he um took the bat and started hitting Jessica also revealed that Cody took his rage out on the porch and that he smashed it with the bat while screaming that he was Satan Jessica's boyfriend Jacob Myers tried to calm Cody down but Cody got more violent and hit Jacob several times with the bat before shoving him off the porch sometimes this is my house and started like swinging his Bat again drop the bat comes inside and I'm still standing there and they're like screaming for me like Jess Jess Jess get just out of his chaotic Behavior the officers managed to safely bring the situation under control Cody was later charged with assault resisting arrest and disorderly conduct his mental state and possible drug
