A vehicle hit a house and the driver is fighting with residents. [Music] At approximately 10:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to State Route 45 for a one vehicle crash. Straight into someone's house because brakes are optional, apparently. EMS was already on scene and calling for backup since the driver wasn't just injured. He was aggressively auditioning for WWE. When Trooper Puffer arrived, he found 41-year-old Patrick Kilpatrick behind the ambulance, possibly looking for round two. Trooper Puffer arrives and approaches the driver by the ambulance. [Music] [Music] wrecked my car. I spun out on the snow. Let's go over here. That was out of here. You give people a hard time or No, I'm having a hard time, dude. It's my birthday. Quitter. I'm 26. It's your birthday. How old are you? I'm 26. Where were you coming to? I was going to my friend's house and I was coming from Clay Street. I had one tall boy and then after that I had a whole 10 bone in wings. I ate. I had a beer and then I ate and I was fine. I decided, okay, I wasn't drunk. I was cool. I got in my car. I drove this way and I spun out and I hit this pole and apparently I spun into this guy's house and I hit that dude. I got his bed and I knocked on the door and I tried to be honest and let him know like listen. I I wrecked in front of your house and I and I wanted to try to make amends but he wanted to call the authorities. So now you're here and that's what it is. Upon arrival, Trooper Puffer finds the suspect Patrick K. ill Patrick wreaking of alcohol and clearly unstable officer discretiony but officer discretion but what do you mean I don't know if you have any officers officer discretion like allowing people to just you know cutting a break but tonight would be the night where I would really appreciate it cuz cuz it's my birthday dude and I and I you know I I was being chill you know I just the snow is you know it's snow It's people people don't imagine to spin out on this. You were you at Clay Street Bar and Grill? Yes, sir. Were you there by yourself? I was there with a friend and I and I was calling him to come pull me home, pull my car home, but he never showed up. So, Okay. Do you have any you have any neck problems, head problems, knees? Anything like that? Like like prior or after? Like like prior recent surgeries or anything? No, I'm okay. Pretty healthy guy. I'm okay. Yeah. I'm a cell phone tower climber. Are you? Yes, sir. Okay. All right. So, I work for Mike Bryson and and Jefferson. Okay. So, you face me, ma'am. Okay. Go ahead and turn your body. Nope. Just face me with your front. Yep. Go ahead and take both your hands and put them up under your chin like this. All right. Do you have any problems with your knees or legs or anything? Obviously, you said you find powers. I'm okay. Okay. I can do whatever you want me to do. All right. So, what I'm going to have you do is you're going to fall and tip my finger with your eyes only and keep your head still. Okay. Understand all that? Yes, sir. Kilpatrick tackled the sobriety test like a drunk acrobat. Wobbling, waving, and casually answering his mom's call mid- performance. All right. You want to try a couple more for me? Yes, sir. Okay, you like me to. So, stand with these gentlemen real quick. Let me back my car up a little bit. Give us a little bit of space. Okay. You have your license on you. We're going to go start over here, though. Hold on. Yep. We're going to go. We're going to go to the front of my car and then turn around for me. Okay. Obviously, we'll use the uh the white line that's already here. Okay. Yes, sir. So, I'm going to give you all the instructions and then you're going to do it. Okay. Yes, sir. You have a problem with that? No, sir. All right. You have your license on you? I have an identification card. Yes. Okay. Do you have a driver's license? I have an identification card. Yes. What? There's a difference though. You have a driver's license and identification card? I I have an identification card. Okay. So, you don't have a driver's license then? Uh, it's not a valid order. Okay. Do you have it on you, ma'am? I have I have some type of card. Okay. I hate to give it to you honestly. Like do I am I am I legally obligated to give to you? Yes. Do you have any type of documentation that that you have to identify yourself with identification card? Do you have any documentation supports that? So what about homeless men who don't have any ID card? We still have a way to find them out. Name, date of birth, social security number, stuff like that. Okay. Six. Write this down. You're going to stand with your left foot on the line like like you have it. Okay. You're going to place your right foot directly in front of your left foot with your heel touching your toe. Okay? You're going to place both arms down your sides, all the way touching your side. So, I'm going to demonstrate three steps for you. You're going to do nine. Hold on. My mother is calling me. Hello, Mom. I'm across the street from Uncle Smokeoky's old house. There is an ambulance across the street. I'm like right by Laudermilk. There is an ambulance. I'm I'm in that vicinity. I I hit this this telephone pole and ripped the whole front end off of it and then and then hit a house too, apparently. Yeah. it. Like I told him like I would I would like I tried to give him my information, my phone number, like where you guys live, you know, I live like I tried to tell him like I have a full-time job and he just wasn't on it. just wanted to he he's got a little so you know I hope you got let's let's get this going. Okay. So, uh yeah guy but yeah uh I wrecked my car. Uh the cop is he's giving me a sobriety test for whatever the reason. You know what I mean? Even though I already told him but you know I already passed one sobriety test and they love giving three. So right now I'm on my second one. I got another one to go after this. They're gonna do me do close my eyes and look up in the sky and then count. I was but not a lot. Like I was on a clay street and I had one like one tall boy and some wings afterwards. Like I ate afterwards. Like I'm cool and you know what I mean? They're just being you know they're just doing what they do. You know it's their job. He proudly admitted to drinking a tall boy and eating chicken wings as if greasy poultry cancels out alcohol. I mean like they're not bad people. They just pick jobs. So like their job makes them a piece of but like personally like like as themselves they're they're cool but like they pick their job. So like you know job and I'm not mad at them. So, what you're going to do is you're going to do this. Okay. So, look like this. I'm going to watch you for your safety. You're going to watch your feet. Okay. Okay. So, one, two, three. You're going to turn like this. You're going to leave your left foot planted. Use other foot. Take a series of small steps. Get yourself turned around. Okay. You're going to take nine more back.
