On August 3rd, 2025, deputies were conducting an anti-drag racing and reckless driving operation in the area of a university. During the operation, multiple vehicles were observed drag racing and driving recklessly within a crowded parking lot. One vehicle in particular, a white Chrysler 300, was observed operating at extremely high rates of speed, creating a significant risk to public safety. >> Metro one, I have a long eye, and somebody's doing donuts in the parking lot right now. 4, if you're able to get the uh camera on them and record the driving behavior. His vehicle was inventoried and towed and a firearm located inside the vehicle was collected and placed into evidence for safekeeping.
