from inside over the balcony. Yeah, over the balcony. I just open the door and just throw it. At the end of the day, she's a female and I'm a male. So, I mean, do you have another phone? I do, but that's my phone. I'm not going. I need I need that. As far as Babe, you really doing this? On March 16th, 2024, officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Apparently, he was hospitalized but went out drinking after and the girlfriend didn't approve. Allegedly, the argument got heated to the point where he punched her in the face. Yeah. The female that's down there says that her stuff's inside. She's trying to get out. Hey, did she go in my room? I don't think she's inside yet. What's going on, sir? What's up, man? I need my cell phone back, but she has to put the password in to that cell phone. There we go. Can I get that? cell phone. So for what? Go to jail for what? For putting your hands on. I didn't text him. Is that his cell phone or? No, it's my phone. That's in my name. AT&T. Look up the account. That is my cell phone. That is my cell phone though. How long has she had the phone? Uh maybe a month. No, I had this phone for like 4 months. No, you did not. That's my phone. Okay. Uh that's my phone number. You don't have a 229 number? I don't have to be I mean do you have another phone? I do, but that's my phone. Okay. That'll have to be sorted out later in court. Um, I need I need that as far as as far as property. That is a business phone. Well, so so the the way that the law looks at it is if you give somebody something to use. All right. Um, it becomes finicky on whether you can get it back. You bring all that [ __ ] out back. Keep the suspension, right? Yeah, you can. You can cancel the service if you want to. You're paying for it. She can pay for her own service. She can come get her stuff, bro. I don't even know where her stuff is. She coming. [Music] She if you want to go in and get all your stuff. Okay. Um that way you can get exactly what's yours. You don't know what. Okay. Now you know I can pop outside again. What's going on, bro? And I'm going to follow you. Okay. Sure. All right. You did it, bro. Babe, you really doing this? You 37 years old, man. [Applause] with you. You did all this. I was there in sleep. You can't even say why you doing that. I came home and came to sleep. You would have drank your life away. You don't even care about yourself. So why should I care about you? Crazy. Would you just tell you back outside? Right. You did. I don't really know. [Music] Sitting in the hospital with you. Oh, you're here. If y'all want no duty, I give you a shot. You just picking up. You pay about my stuff, too. No, this ain't none of your stuff. This only thing that's yours. Hey, before y'all go, can I just talk to her fast and what? Can I just talk to her? You can talk to her, but unless she uh wants us to step out, then can we talk in person? Nothing to talk about. You said just let me just like they're cousin downstairs to help you or um Riley. Yeah. Can you help me please if you don't mind? You don't realize how much [ __ ] you got to do. He came and took my He took my ID and stuff and my cards out my bag. I just had my badge on to put in my pocket. You said he has your ID? Yeah. All my stuff that was in my bag is missing. So, he came out here and got my stuff just that I don't know where he came downstairs, but he got my He He didn't come outside since we've been here. He came outside. He came outside. Okay. Got my bank cards, my ID. Come here. Bank cards and ID. Well, he got my bank card. Is it yours with your name on it? Yeah. Her car is right here. Still drunk, but her car is right here. My car is What? How you? Good, bro. Cuz I had it. You gave me money. Remember? I What? Forget you. Thank you. There you go. There's no ID here, though. You have an You have an ID or no? ID. Okay. All right. So, what was you saying earlier before we walked inside? Um, when I when I got here, I went straight upstairs. I knocked on his door. He opened the door. So, he was like, "What you doing?" I was like, "I'm just getting my stuff." He looked like he was just looking up. I was like, "I'm just getting my stuff." And he um he was like, "What you getting your stuff for?" Probably later. I was like, "No, I just want to get my stuff so I can go." You said these were the ones that were there. Yeah. He took about my own out here. So, he punched me and then he when he punched me, he scratched me and then first he punched me right here. Then he um punched me in my lip when I was trying to leave out. So, I just came downstairs. I was like I left my phone in the car. So I came back downstairs and I called my mom and then I was like mom if I called the police force they let me take my stuff. I was like if I called her no emergency go she was like yeah. So I just called y'all for escort. I was just trying to get my stuff in. You weren't fussing or nothing cuz he looked like he had just woke up. I just came from work. So I'm just trying to get my stuff. That's it. Y'all like live together or did was just like what is y'all? Like that's my boyfriend. We I was living with him. Okay. all my stuff. Talk to him about that. Figure out what's going on. But what that scratch right there, it just came about and he busted when I left. See the web? All right, I'm going to go talk to him. He said all this kind of all this happened like when you came in. Literally like I walked in, I went straight to the closet. No, when I walked in, he said, "Hey, bae." I'm like I ain't say nothing. I just turned my back and I just straight went to um in the closet and started getting my stuff. So he started grabbing me and holding me down on the bed and then he was like, "That's what you want to do?" I was like, "Yeah." So he that's what he was right here. And then I was like, "Okay, I'm not going to go nowhere cuz I was scared." And then he um he went to the bathroom, came back, and then he just like mushed my face, but he scratched me and then he punched me in my Okay. Talk to him about that. Um, were these other two guys, were they up in the house when all this happened or Yeah, they was in the house, but they they was in their rooms. You didn't like stream out or anything like that? No, the room was uh the TV and stuff was on and his room door was locked. So, y'all was locked on. So, okay. All right. We'll go see his side of the story and then uh we'll Yeah. So, I told him I was like, I'm about to call the police when you put your hands on me. He was like, "Who was the witness?" Um um ain't nobody going ain't nobody going to know what I did. That's the same thing he said. So basically he's saying that he going to deny. But I don't have no reason. I never been my hand. Ain't nobody never put their hands on me before. I got you. All right. Well, sit and tight. We'll be this way. This way right here for Oops. Hey, can we sit by and talk to her real quick? Yes, sir. Oh, I don't want to leave the door open like that. All right. So, the first time she came around to get uh clothes, I guess, from the closet, like what happened in the bedroom? I was sleep. I just woke up. I was just telling them, "Hey, I just woke up. She came down on the door." She said, "Hey, let me get my stuff." I said, "All right, cool." She hit she hit herself opening the door, the the two doors, my room door and the closet door. She hit herself that they bind and hit. She talking about I didn't touch her if I didn't I didn't do nothing physical. So, okay. She said, "Let me get my stuff." I said, "No." She said, "I'm going just call the police." I said, "Baby, let's talk." I wanted to talk things out. She said, "Okay." No. She she she got on her phone. She ran out in the car. When I come talk to her in her car, she drove off. I walked to the mail. Me and my cousin, we walked to the mail about to go check the mail. That was it. I seen when y'all came in. That's all she talking about. She missing her ID. I had her car cuz she gave me money last night. That that lady I was on the phone with when I talked to you when you met me, that was her mother. Okay. All right. Any information you need for me? What do you guys want? I'm sure those officers are going to have questions. I'm going to holl at the cuz real quick. All right. What's good, man? What's up? Mr. Bailey and what's her name? Rumble. Rumble. What? I always talk about um she's got like a little little mark on her face like on the inside of her lip and right here on her nose. When she opened the door, uh she swung it open and she hit the door. Well, she she was moving so fast. I was like, "Babe, just stop. Just calm down." And that was all. Okay. One thing about it, one thing about the thing was I ain't touching no female, man. I got sisters all that. I She's outside saying you helped her pick up some stuff off the ground that got tossed down. What happened with that? And you just do a little tub outside. Like Tupperware, like kitchen tupperware or I mean like a basket container. Oh, okay. Like one of the little plastic containers that hold stuff. I threw it out. But hey, I'm turning. I ain't know why he did it, but by the time I was picking up, she had just pulled up. Okay. Uh, and that was when while she was gone or I mean, she she's making claims of something happening, but we got to do our part. At least like talk to you. She's saying you did XYZ. She's saying it got physical. It didn't. And technically, she doesn't listen. That's just my girlfriend. Mhm. I was having out. She stayed here. No, I live here. Yeah, you live here. Does she like come over here every other day or like visit? And eventually we got we got more. Does she get mail here or anything? No, she doesn't. She lives in uh Smellville. I think she was still here. Okay. From my understanding. He said she came in and then left. He got mad and I'm like I didn't know what going on. He just went out and put her stuff and I went to go pick it off and bring it back in. Um, as far as what happened upstairs, did you see anything or hearing anything in the bedroom? I I was downstairs though. I didn't know she came. Okay. All right. Do you have like a ID or a picture of it? Yeah. I just know what you said. Or if you don't have one, just a name. You said Riley North Carolina. So it was more of like a sack of public say. I got you. Not all her stuff being here was with that then. That's the only reason because we we not we never had any problems. Mhm. Never. This is like the first ever lifetime. Yeah. They're here and they didn't kind of bounce you and what what all happened. All right, man. I appreciate it. I'm going to highlight them. See what they got going on. She was just saying that some stuff happened inside and outside. So we're going to try to figure out what happened at that. I was in my room. All right. Bet. Appreciate it, man. Take it easy. Uh basket of Tupperware. They got tossed outside. What happened with that? I threw it. Just out of just out of she coming in doing all that. I got frustrated. I opened the door. I didn't even walk outside. I just threw it. It's my That's my tubware. Okay. So, it just had her items in it. Um it had Yeah. Yeah. You just How did you throw it exactly? From inside over the balcony or the balcony? I just open the door and just throw it which that's my bin that she still has. But if I want to be I could take that, too. But I ain't going like that, man. Okay. And I was telling Mr. I was telling Mr. Bailey like, "Yo, this is our first incident. Like, we don't we don't argue. We don't do anything, you know?" So, it kind of frustrated me cuz I was sleep. Mhm. And I got woke up. She came banging, kicking. She She put a hole in my door today. Yeah, I can show you. She put a hole in my door. When was that? This morning when she was banging, I was sleep. I And she She's only mad because I just got out of ICU. Um I had a seizure. So, and my man was right here. Hey, I apologize about that. I apologize for that. Yeah, I woke up. I have the only mailbox key. So I said, "All right, this I need some fresh start anyway." So she was right here. She was back there. I tried to go to the car on the passenger side. I said, "Hey, let's talk." She drove up. So I said, "All right." She said, "Call your mama cuz she about to go to jail and I'm calling the police to get my stuff." So, at that point, I called her mom and I say, "Um, miss, what's going on? Why is Ma coming over here? Why is she acting like this?" She said, "I don't know. Just better get her stuff." She had to call the police. I said, "All right, here's ma'am." That's by that time, that's when I seen you. We were walking back from the middle. So, I don't I don't know. As far as the physical education, cuz I heard you kind of talking to him about it as you walked up the stairs. What exactly happened? No, no, no. There there was nothing ever that was physical about there was nothing that was physical. Nothing at all. That's okay. Okay. She has injuries on her body. That's that's what I was spending him when she came in. She swung the door open. She's very relaxed and like she she was moving and she hit if if I can demonstrate. I can show y'all what happened. I mean I saw I was still in the bed. I saw the doors. Yeah. But can I explain? I can I can see what you're talking about. She she she she was talking and opened one door while one door is open and they connected and she was right there on the corner. That's when I got out cuz I was still on when she came when she first came in. I was still in the bed. I was laying down. Once I open the door, I hopped back in the bed. Okay. And just laid down. I'm thinking like she she she going to come in from work and just, you know, take a shower. She came in throwing stuff, kicking stuff. That's when all that happened. And I didn't know I had a hole in the door until y'all got there. Like she literally cuz she was punching the door and now I have a hole in my door. Is that cuz the door was locked? Yeah. Yeah. Trying to get in. Yeah. So, but I was sleep like I I literally woke up. I haven't been up a whole maybe now probably 45 minutes. The only thing that I wanted she got her stuff. I just went on myself. There was nothing never physical. Okay. If that's just a way that I guess to put me in trouble or get me in trouble, I don't know. Honestly, gentlemen, I ain't never been physical. So, look at her face. Mhm. I didn't see it personally. So, I'm not sure. We look at it like she told me she told me she going this way. And she No, cuz when I seen it, she had she end up getting tissue. She like my lip and I the first thing I seen when she hit the door was her lips. So, oh, I forgot to ask. When exactly did you grab her? I didn't grab her. Oh, no. You mentioned it earlier that you said that's not exactly when I That's not No, no, no. That's that's that's when I corrected myself and said, "No, I didn't grab her. I never I never touched her." Yeah. Okay. Yes, sir. That's why I ask so many questions. No, it's cool. It's cool, man. It's cool. What we got to do? It's cool, man. It's It's just It's just in this situation. How long? Of course. Uh since August. Okay. It's just crazy because at the end of the day, she's a female and I'm a male. So, well, see, that's where a lot of people get confusion is I would sleep. We're automatically going to lock up. That's not the case. Um, but I I didn't I was I used to be, you know, it used to be the primary aggressor, now it's a dominated cursor. So, even if the two of you, even if you hit her, you hit her once, she did the most to you. No, but see, my thing, my thing, my thing as a man though, I don't believe in Oh, no. I understand that. I don't believe like a lot of people a lot of people still think like we're automatic because she just wanted she she just she just was want to see me down like even even with my car my car is a diesel she put regular gas in my car now I can't my car was like you hit me in my face are you serious or whatever so I had him thinking that my mom was in the car I was like look my mom down here like I got to go I thought that would make him just let me get my stuff and go so um Volkswagen what's up that's the one that's back Okay. So, I didn't see a diesel truck. N me doing me doing my my part so that she can cuz she works at the north side hospital in school. Okay. So, me doing my part cuz me I'm a chemist. I work in uh Jefferson WTI. So, me I I have so much stuff going on like I have to be focused when I go to work cuz I do I do we mess with stuff that can that's bad. No, but we Yeah. But we do we do we we basically make preservatives that go in food so that it doesn't it doesn't mold. It can have shelf. I got you. After that he steady pushing me back. Pulling me back. I'm just trying to at this point I'm just like I'm just about to go. So yeah, that's when he punched me in my mouth. My lip start beating. So I'm like look I'm not going nowhere at this point. I'm just like telling him I'm not going nowhere. Hoping that he would stop being a aggressive. So um pathetic like being real aggressive or whatever. So um see me just real quick man walk towards the bathroom and when he walk towards the bathroom that's when I just go straight out the door. So he tried to come and have me but I'm faster than him. So I just came downstairs and um I jumped in the car. He was trying to come and have me but I jumped in the car and I pulled off like towards the middle of the street. I pulled and I called my mom up and she was like, "Yeah." I was like, "I'm gonna call the emergency number." And she was like, "Okay." Um, so that's what made me call y'all. Okay. And that's all I was doing. Uh, what happened with the hole in the door? Oh, he must have punched. You rightanded? Rightanded. You're back. I'll just see if you had any like bruises or anything on your hands or something like that. marks. What? What you doing? Simple bedroom door knocking. No, that it's a little dash in the door. It's probably like this big. He done that, I believe, on New Year's. New Year's. Yeah, the maintenance people came and done inspection or it's right on his door, his his door, and then it's right on his closet going to the right. He been done that. Okay. As far as the phone thing goes, unfortunately that is like a civil issue because if you gave it to her as gift like that's something like you can cut phone service off that already already letting her back in to get her stuff. That that's completely different if she said she's staying here. And I was cool. I before you guys got involved, I was like, "Yo, can we just talk? Can we communicate? Can we just like be civil?" Yeah. What was she all mad about when she got here? cuz I I I for for the weekend on my birthday, my birthday was March 4th. I end up going downtown and I end up uh something happened. Um the case manager uh told me that I was drugged and I end up having seizure. Mhm. Um my birthday was Monday. I went out March 2nd. I got admitted to the hospital uh that Sunday morning, March 3rd. I woke up, fell straight to the floor. Um started having seizures. She's just pissed off because I end up going out last night. She like just won't burn. You won't you won't you know I got you. She cares. Um she just cares. But she gets angry because she feel like I need to stop. All right. Give me one second. Going out having fun and stuff, you know. But I don't even go out like that, you know. But just for it to happen back to back, I guess she felt some type of way. I'll tell her on that. Well, if you guys been together since August and this is the first time you really fought, you're doing pretty good. That's not too bad. Know that fight disagreement or got a hole in the door that she's that he's talking about. Apparently, he punched that uh during the whole like the new year around New Year's and maintenance already came out and inspected and took pictures and documented the damage. And now a whole another problem just grows, you know. Yeah. Yeah. She's a scratch on her nose and she's got a little bit of a little bit of a fat lip. That kind of fun though. But her word is the fat. So my my word is like I'm telling you guys what happened today. Uh you got a energy drink? Good. Drink. What's up? Uh, I mean, why don't you just hold off until we're till we're clear? Just Just hold off till we're clear. You hit the vape. That's all right. You hit that. You're 21. All right. Just turn 29. I think this battery. I think that ball got to him. The open uh I don't know if you saw it, but there's like a open alcohol container. Nice. Uh nice decent size. Pretty much only like bedroom. Yeah. Only like that much was left. Say he's an alcoholic. So yeah, let me go ahead and hook him do that and then send her on her way. Yeah. She got some marks on. All right, man. Do me a favor. Stand up, please. Stand up for me. Oh, yes, sir. All right. You put that hand behind your back for me and the other one, please. We'll get it. We'll get it. We'll get it. You got shoulder. Can I ask a question, sir? Yeah, go ahead. Why am I being the tank? Sir, now you're being placed under arrest. Okay. For battered family violence. All right. Is that Is this one too tight for you, brother? But no, sir. I see you got your wrist. But I said she got a scratch on. But I didn't. Mr. Can you hear me y'all? Please. I'll listen to you. We all can listen to you as you walk downstairs. Yeah. Easy. I don't want you to fall. I'm okay. But my thing is, sir, can can you just hear me out? I'm listening to you. Go ahead. Why are you detaining me when I didn't do anything? It's not a detention. So, you are officially under arrest. It's for battery family violence. But um the and I heard what you said. I heard your story. We heard her story. Um the allegation was that you strike her. U she she has the injuries to her face. Can I can she if she if she doing anything? Can I afford to go? I'm not from here. I don't I gentlemen, like I said, she is packing her stuff up. She's leaving, so she shouldn't be a problem anymore. My thing is, I'm I'm I'm being detained for something I didn't do. I just woke up and and came. And by all means, you know, you have to talk to her. By all means, she doesn't want to talk to you. By all means, you can talk to the talk. For real, leave. Come on. By all means, you you're more than welcome to talk to the judge about what happened. Um, but that's just what we're going with for now. Okay. May you please use your discretion. Oh, wait. We don't have discretion with family violence offenses. Can I just say something for y'all? Please put me in the back of the car. Yeah. Yeah. Please. Please. I'm We're We're listening to you, man. Please. I'm I'm walking. I'm I'm being I got you. Just let me get the 911. We're listening to you. My thing is I don't deserve this. I I don't think I have my keys and my cell phone. That's all. My thing is can you ask her if she is lying? You know, please, Mr. Thomas. Yeah, we'll talk to her after this. We got to talk to her anyway for some paperwork. Just hang out right there. I don't I don't deserve this. We'll talk to you afterwards. I promise. All right. Just have a seat for now. Well, we'll go and talk to her. Have a seat for now. Take a seat. Sit first. It'll be easier. Just watch her as you're sitting down. Uh just so you know, it's not you pressing the charges. All right. It is a state. I don't I understand but unfortunately with injuries that you have and the story that you have we have if we're uh the state mandates us if we able to determine who is the primary um who's predominant aggressor in a DV situation they go to jail. So, like if you had hit him or whatever and he had more injuries than him than you, then you'd go to jail or vice versa, right? Because say we leave, you decide, okay, no, I'm going to come back and then things get worse and we don't do anything the first time and say we don't get here in time and something really, really bad happens to you, that comes back on us, right? Yeah, I already need to take a picture of your nose first and then I'll do one of your lip. As always, don't forget to check out the pin comment for updates.
