On July 14th, 2023, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office [music] were dispatched to a mobile home in the park. The caller reported that his firearm had been stolen during an altercation the previous night. He informed dispatch that the weapon was currently in the possession of a female resident at lot 169. >> He's on the other side. >> Okay. Uh I was I was the one that made the call and I was the one that you know the gun got stolen from. Okay. >> Uh the owner of that trailer, uh she was able to sneak, you know, get the gun off of them because they, you know, knotted out from the Xanax they took and I am in possession of it. >> Okay. So, she brought it to you. >> Yes, it is. I put it in my waistband. >> Okay. >> No clip in it. No bullets in it. >> Okay. >> Uh I dropped the clip and that had the bullets in it and the other clip off at the neighbors. They're separated. I just wanted to >> at the neighbors at your trailer over at 56 or out there. >> It I don't know the lot number. It's across across the way from mine. >> Across from you. Yeah. >> I wanted to see if it was across from 169 or uh make sure it was all separate. >> Okay, no problem. >> That way you know you guys have no worries about it. >> Can uh so Henkins is actually waiting and he was going to call you right on the other side over here. Do you want to cut down over there? I'll cut across Harvard here and we can talk to him. >> Yeah. Uh radio to him to give me a phone call. >> Okay. Yeah. All right. >> Yeah. Well, Mandy, there's two cops here, so I'm going to have to let you know. Um, they're here for the people staying here at the damn house. >> Stay with you. >> Caleb and Caleb and Aaron, they're both here right now. There any firearms in the residence with him or anything that we need to be concerned about? >> Um, he's got two on him. >> He's got two on him. >> Yeah, they're BB guns. They're not They're not real guns, but um he's got two of those. And then I don't know where my my my gun went. I had a little or something like that. like a revolver style. >> Yeah, >> like a little singleshot one. >> Yeah. Um it got taken from me and it was taken down to um Allies and Ally almost last night. She shot at him and she missed by 4 in. Thank God because that would happen. >> She shot him last night here. >> Shot at him. No, not here. No, he went down there to check on her and she just she was freaking >> I'm I'm I'm just I'm irritated right now because of my sto >> So where are they at right now? >> They're in the house. I don't I don't care. Go in there. Get whatever you got to get. >> Do you want to stay out here? Do you want to be in there with us? >> Bringing their [ __ ] and it's it >> Did you allow them to stay here? >> I did not. They the power went out down there because they didn't pay a um electric bill. So the power went out down there >> at 56. >> Yeah. >> So that's where they were staying. >> Yeah. And then they just help yourself to move up here and it's like keep telling them I'm like can you like not like I I don't want you here cuz of my kids, my children. My kids' lives matter more than anything. >> How long have they been here? Um, today would be day two, >> but I'm just I'm I'm I'm done a little bit. But they they keep >> And you didn't want them here? Don't want to begin with never to have me killed cuz all the they're big prisoners or whatever. They were in prison before. So >> they um they told me that they have have people disappear just like that and it wouldn't even matter. So that's what he said. >> I don't I didn't call the house. I didn't call you guys. I did not call you. >> No, we got called to do a welfare check on your call. >> So, what you guys do when you find that welcome, you do that welfare check is what you do, you know. >> But you have no problem with us going in. >> I have no problem. I mean, >> it's just I don't know. I don't know what we're doing. Can you scared my leg? Oh, the other guy out here. Harder than it looks at least. >> Huh? It's harder than it looks at least. >> How's it going, my man? Who's this? Hey, wake up. What' it take? >> I honestly don't know. I just got back from moving myself down. Pretty sure you see me walk by. I got you. >> Hey, wake up. Are you Chris? No. >> Caleb Aaron. >> Aaron. Okay. Sorry for >> All right. So, how long have you been staying with Cheyenne? >> I'm saying a day or so. >> Okay. So, what's going on with you guys? >> What's your name? [ __ ] Stupid [ __ ] just happening down there and I'm just fixing my bike and I'm literally out here. >> Okay. I got no warrant. >> That's fair. >> Don't have my ID currently on me, but I got a license number. >> Okay, I'll get that from you in just a second. Let me be really honest. Okay, we we were called out here for a welfare check with her. She said you guys were moving in from 56 and she didn't want you guys know. >> So, I'm trying to understand how we got in this predicament. Okay, I ain't blaming you for nothing. Obviously, I know he's using something. We ain't dumb. [laughter] Okay. Hey, Caleb. >> What? >> Open your eyes for me, bud. >> You see him take anything? >> No. No. >> I just open back and forth. >> All right. Which? >> A R O N. >> A R O N. >> Hey, Lee. L E. >> Cross. C R O S S L A N D. cross land. Okay. >> Where uh Cheyenne's handgun is >> not not these toys. An actual real life handgun. >> What' you take? >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. What's your phone number, my man? >> How many Xanax did we take today? >> Huh? >> How many Xanax did we take? >> I don't take Xanax. >> All right, then. >> I can't take Xanax. >> Then what? Then what do we take? because you're clearly having a struggle here and I'd rather you not fall out and die on us while we're trying to figure out what's going on. >> I I don't really believe you because I removed those two things from you and you didn't even move. >> Is there anything going on with Billy having a gun? >> Nothing. You know, >> she did say shine, dude. >> That's what she's telling us. >> Hey, Caleb, what's your last name for me, my man? >> I think that I think that Kayla, >> right? >> What's your last name? >> Hold on. What are you guys doing in here? >> We were invited in. >> We're trying You're trying to enjoy the ride, man. I understand what's going on with you. I ain't dumb. I've been doing this for a while. >> I I believe that. And if you were living in 56, I'm sure you go through a lot every day. Okay. I again, I ain't dumb. >> I'll grab a water from the fridge. >> That's fine. Go for it, my man. I appreciate you. >> So, but if Cheyenne's saying that you guys here, go ahead. How much stuff do you have down here? >> How much stuff do you have down here? >> Uh, literally. >> Okay. All right. So, if she says she doesn't want you guys here, you'd be able to grab it and head out and and understand that legally she's allowed to say that. >> Okay. Fair. >> I don't know why she was here. >> She said you could stay here. >> Yeah. >> Sad. Sadly, and I think both of you guys are smart enough to know this. She's allowed to revoke her cuz it's not whenever she wants as a homeowner up until you guys are full-blown residents and one and a half days. Isn't that it? But I really need to know what's going on with you, my man. >> I'm about to just check your text. >> All right. >> I go ahead. >> All right. Well, here's the deal. Okay. While you're dealing with whatever. Okay. I I fully believe that you were in under the influence of something, okay? But I do need you to understand that you are going to have to give us appropriate identification because right now we're out here on an open investigation which requires you to identify. Okay? Do you have a driver's license? No. Do you know your social? Are you okay? >> Yeah. What's going on with you? >> Chocolate. Huh? Chocolate. Chocolate. >> The chocolate. Yeah, we nodded off while we were eating whatever that is. >> I went to drift some chocolate. >> How do you spell Caleb? Is it with a K or a C? >> I don't want to be around here. >> What? >> I don't want to be around here. Wait, where's she at? >> She's outside. >> Crazy. >> Who? Cheyenne or Alexandria? >> Big one. Okay. >> That's just my dude's girl. >> That's just your Who's your dude? >> Billy. >> Billy's your dude. Okay. >> Oh, he he was >> He was What happened with you and Billy? >> Oh my god. Like two things on his [ __ ] >> Oh, okay. Down there at 56. >> Yeah. >> Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. >> I'm like, "Dude, why?" I said I don't have the I'm don't have the morals to make this female sit down in this >> jail. No electricity, no walk, no water, no nothing. And he just sitting there watching I do that. So I got five I got sick and tired of it. >> Fair enough. So, so yeah, I went and told her like >> anything you need to >> feed him inside or outside. >> Fair enough. I can understand that, my man. Hey, is it >> that's what started this whole thing? >> That's what started this whole thing. Is it Caleb with a C or a K? >> I'm going to get him some food. >> Is it Caleb with a C or a K? >> Wait, why? >> Because I have to identify you cuz we got called out here to investigate. She mess with me. >> Yeah. >> What? >> She's saying that she didn't invite you guys to move in and that you guys brought your stuff down from 56 because of how crazy Billy and Alexandria's been. >> She said she didn't move. >> She invited us. >> Yep. >> Is that your phone? >> That one right there. >> What's going on? >> This is Mr. Caleb. We found him uh >> sleeping. Mhm. Uh, and we've taken a while to become semi-responsible. So, we just need you guys to do a double check and make sure that we're good. >> Okay. >> Hey, Caleb, these guys are going to check you out. Okay. You said you're not using anything. I say different. It's their job to determine who's right. Okay. >> You know what year it is? >> Got three really dumb questions. Due to concerns for Caleb's welfare after he was initially unresponsive, officers requested EMS to respond. Caleb advised deputies that Cheyenne had permitted them to stay at the residence. He appeared visibly upset upon officer's arrival till EMS checked upon Caleb. Officer went to Cheyenne to figure out what had actually happened. >> Intentions with them are to leave. >> I couldn't hear you. >> I don't hear. Okay. All right. Did you ask them to leave at any point? >> Um, I told him I said I don't want nobody else living here. >> Okay. >> That's what I said. >> But no direct. You need to leave right now. >> No direct, but I did say I don't I'm not looking for nobody else to live here cuz >> Are there any text messages between you and Caleb? >> Um, there is, but my phone is about to die. So, you're trying to tell me that you guys had text messages and I'm just trying to understand that part >> from a while ago before like [ __ ] started getting bad. Yeah, I did say I don't have a problem with you here. But, um I I said if I mean if it come between my kids or you, I'm going to choose my kids. >> That's fine. That's fine. I just wanted >> things are getting bad. I mean, you see he's there like basically overdosed. >> Mhm. What did you take? you know, >> like impressed with that. >> Oh, something that resembles Xanax. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> So, that's what he said. He >> But um >> and does William stay down here? >> Um he he's been everywhere. >> I'm getting conflicting stories in there. One person says that he's down at 56 with Alexandria and one person's telling me that he's with you. He He's been here with me, guys. He's been here the last few few nights, but I'm pregnant with this child. So, I I mean, >> I'm not passing judgment. I'm just trying to figure out where he fits. >> I I don't have a problem with him. Me and him are like I mean, we get along and everything and him are fine. >> He respects me. I respect him. >> These two in here don't respect. >> All right. So, he's telling me when I pulled into the front of the park that you brought him his handgun and that he has it back in 56. what's going on with his handgun from a real point of view because he told me that the reason why he called was he something about his handgun and that you brought it to him. >> I I did. Yes. I was able to cuz he was passed out so I >> How did it Did he just bring it down here? Was there a fight? What What are we talking about with it >> cuz he wouldn't he wouldn't really give me a solid straight answer and I'm trying to figure out how it made it from 56 to here. Okay. So, last night at 56 some Billy went to go check on Ally. >> Yeah. >> Caleb was laying on Billy's bed with him. >> Okay. >> That's going to Any man is territory. >> Yeah. >> So, it's going to spark something in me. >> Yeah. >> He got really upset. He called Caleb Caleb. He says I'm prison. This is almost like lost my life and that. So, he's wanting to to beat Billy because Billy bought him a [ __ ] >> Okay. >> Well, Ally had gotten a hold of that little Daringer down that I that I had had here that Caleb had taken >> from here and it was down there. Well, Ally had gotten it off Caleb and Ally was pointing it. She talked it and everything. She's pointing it at Willie. She >> Okay. And so I um I was up here, but this is what I heard from everybody that was down there. Um I guess they started everybody started biting like um the guy in there, but he's got I guess he got bit on the shoulder right here by her. Um Billy smacked in the face here, bit his nose and bit his hands. >> Okay. So where did Billy's come come I mean to play or is Billy's gun and your gun the same gun >> when No, I have I have a different >> but Aaron ended up pulling the gun from Billy out of his out of his cuz he kept it in his waistband. So he ended up pulling the gun from his waistband because Ally and him were fighting scared. >> Billy had pinned Ally down until somebody grabbed that stood there and >> grabbed the gun. Grab the gun. He had her pinned down. And um then uh she uh so then Billy ended up leaving when nobody grabbed his gun. So he just left cuz all all um both of them were just standing there. They went and grabbed the gun, nothing. So but they took Billy's gun from him and basically made it like she won't get Trump. She has some kind of me for this. >> All right. All right. Well, then I'll figure out what we're dealing with in your eyes I just needed some clarification. >> Shine told police that the altercation between Caleb and Billy got a little personal. Although a firearm was involved, but at the moment it is not present in this trailer and Caleb didn't have a gun. She describes being terrified of the men, specifically mentioning that Caleb had threatened to have her disappear and claimed to have the power to make people disappear. She urges them to get whatever you got to get to remove the men from her home. >> Do what they have to do. This is stating that you aren't going to the hospital with you. You're taking all liability for your own health. >> I got insurance. >> I It's not even about insurance. About you taking the responsibility if something happens to you, not on me. >> If something happens, it's my fault. >> All right. >> But I know nothing's going to happen. >> All right. Then at this point, we are waiting on a phone call from Summit County. Okay? If Summit County says they want you, they want you. If they say they don't, they don't. I again, I have no control over that. Until that point, we have to detain you. Okay? >> I'm not being detained. >> You're you're being detained. If you fight with us, there's going to be issues. All I'm looking for is detainment until they answer me one way or the other. >> Listen, I'm trying to tell you, listen, please hear me out, okay? My My son, >> right? which is why we don't know her. That's why I'm asking you to work with us for this detention until Summit County decides. If they decide they don't want you, everything stops and is done. If they decide that you want you, you have to go with us anyways. >> Okay. So, >> so detention like >> Yep. Dispatch is right now, which is why you're being detained. Okay. And not arrested. >> I'm not being I'm I'm sitting right here. I ain't going nowhere. >> All right. So, what happens if they say you want that they want you? Are you going to fight with me? No, I'm I'm not going to let nobody take me. I'mma blow my mom [ __ ] head off >> with what? >> Like, come on, man. >> What are you going to blow your head off with? >> With Let's be real. >> Do you realize how much time they're trying to make me face? >> I don't I don't know because I just got done doing 10 years. I'm 25 years old. >> Okay, >> so you got 10 years of >> I've been trying to stay on the low. >> Okay, fair enough. Well, now you're telling me you want to blow your brains out instead of come with me. >> And you then you said you weren't going to fight with me. Tell me which one it is. >> Cuz if you have a gun, I really need to know. >> No, I I wish I had a mother. >> Okay, but we don't. So, wouldn't it make more sense to work with us so that we don't have to fight with each other and act like idiots? Cuz I'd rather not do that. I understand that you're upset, but to this point, you can't say that we haven't treated you unfairly and and we're being very respectful. >> You guys are being very respectful. Yes. >> But I just wish you would understand where I'm coming from. >> I feel like I do understand. >> Right now is the only time I'm able to get my sleep. >> Fair enough. And and I've moved on past that. Okay. You signed the medical release. If they say you're good to sign, you're good to sign. Okay. Again, not something that I'm worried about. And I'm not to run to rat anybody out. >> The warrants are what is somebody I know who, but somebody gave me this Xanax and >> it wasn't good. >> I don't Xanax. >> Okay, fair enough. Fair enough. Listen, man. I I hear you and I appreciate your honesty. >> That's why I immediately came I sat down, tried to sleep it off. I'm not doing it anymore. I just did 10 years of my life. I'm 25 years old. >> Okay. But that's for APA, not the whatever's going on with Summit County, right? >> I don't have anything going on with Summit County. >> Summit County said they have a warrant for you, man. I'm not worried about APA. I'm worried about Summit County. What's going on in Summit County? >> Yeah, they told me I could go to freaking open court. >> What? >> I got something for a minor misdemeanor for. >> Okay. All right. Then that's why I'm asking if they want you or not. Do you understand what I'm asking now? >> I do. I understand. >> Okay. I'm not saying anything about APA. I ain't looking at nothing for APA, man. Summit County is the one who told my dispatch that they had a flag on your social security number because you had a warrant with them. Okay, >> I can leave. Like, I don't >> Well, I understand. >> I know what it's like to have nobody out here. I ain't got no mother, family, brother, sister. >> I thought you just told me your mom was a county deputy. >> Um, she's dead to me. >> Okay. All right. So, if you have no mom, you guys are >> I'm dead to her. Okay. >> So that >> just because of all the history and past and everything. >> She's been getting me locked up since I was 13 years old. I got no respect for that woman. >> Fair enough. >> I can't. >> You took all that time out of my life for what? >> A water. >> No, I appreciate you, man. >> Thank you. >> I just am waiting on an answer so I can figure out what I'm doing with you guys. >> For you, it sounds like it's going to be packing up and heading wherever you're going to be going. Okay. You have nothing outstanding. If they say that they have a warrant for him, obviously we have to take him. I have no choice in the matter. >> What's that? >> She wants to take all >> I want you to treat me with the same respect that I'm treating you. >> That's what I'm trying to tell you. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Man, >> I just got done doing 10 years, >> right? I'm not going back. >> But if you just did 10 years, you also understand that fighting with us isn't going to help. >> I know. I know. I'm just telling you man to man this is where I'm at with my own brain. >> Fair enough. >> I have nothing to lose. I ain't got no parents no more. >> I don't got no siblings. >> That's why I try to stay out here and try to make friends that I can >> and he's the only friend I got. >> Fair. And he's been cool to work with. And for the most part, you've been okay. I understand why you're getting upset. >> She No, what's really about to make me upset is me thinking about this again. that she's gonna let her lame ass boyfriend down there point a gun at me and [ __ ] talk talking he's gonna do so I caught him out for his >> bit down there yesterday from this altercation >> that's what I heard it sounded like last night was some kind of brawling scenario >> you know what have you ever dealt with him before >> yes I've dealt I've dealt with before >> so okay now imagine with a gun >> yeah I' I imagine I' supposed to do here. >> She bit me >> again. That's why I didn't come in here about nothing with that. I'm here because they're saying that she doesn't want you couch surfing. Okay. >> The fact that you had a warrant is a separate issue. >> Who don't want me couch surfing? >> Cheyenne. >> She told me to come right out. >> She She told me that She told me that you guys were getting along, whatever, and that she changed her mind. Okay, I ain't saying that that ain't the way that it went, but she's allowed to change her mind as a res. She's so in love with Billy. She could hide Billy. I don't I'll go sleep in the woods. I don't >> I don't think you were pining after Billy. >> Huh? >> I said I don't think you were after Billy. So, whatever Billy does, Billy does. >> I'm not after nobody. I just wanted to chill. >> Fair enough. >> I smoke I smoked my little bit of weed earlier and I've been chill. I've been trying to sleep. That's it. >> Fair enough. Listen, man. >> Like, I'm not I'm going to keep it real with you. I'm not I don't care if anybody smokes. I smoke. My pole officer knows I smoke weed. >> Yep. I believe that. >> Provation. They all know. >> Yep. Most people don't have a care. >> I talk to them every week. >> Yep. But what did you just tell me? >> I will never be put in handcuffs again. >> That's the That's the problem. >> You know what then? You know what that's going to do? Soon as you get me in handcuffs, I'mma go crazy. >> All right. because my head is so [ __ ] up >> that I can't I personally cannot allow anybody to put me in no handcuffs again. >> All right. So if they say >> I don't even let this fat >> okay >> put me in handcuffs >> if if they say that you want they want you and we have to by law put you in handcuffs. >> Would two sets of handcuffs be helpful? >> What do you think? >> Huh? >> It's par rule. What do you think? >> It's still up to them. I've still seen it go both ways. If I don't know what I have a word through 44. >> If if if that's what they say though, if we give you two sets of handcuffs and it's not so restrictive, can we not freak out? >> Okay. So, we have to do >> you have to leave with us. >> I'm facing 10 years. >> I understand. Here's the deal. Before we get off the couch, okay, we go outside, we have a cigarette, we have to put handcuffs on and get in a car. If you're going to fight with us, we're going to fight right here. We're going to drag you out to a car. We're going to put you in the car >> or you can come outside. >> We'll go out and work through it. Okay. Again, we have been fair with you the entire time and I'm trying to keep going at that rate which is why as soon as they told me I'm being honest with you, right? Told you we were sitting here waiting on a call from them. That's what that's what they just radio. >> So, what you're saying is she basically like tried to blackmail me. I have >> She knows that I have >> That's not what it sounds like at all. I got a M4. >> All right, then. Do you do you see do you see what I'm part of? >> I I >> As soon as I hit summit cow, I need jail. I'm fighting immediately. I'm not dealing with that right now. I'm a heartless felon. Nobody likes heartless felons. >> I hear you. Listen, man. Again, I'm not telling you that it sucks. >> I'd rather die than go back there. I lost I don't have no parents no more. I don't have no family no more. That's why I'm literally couch surfing. >> Okay. >> But this woman right there just agreed to us >> earlier this morning >> that we can have the shed >> and that back part restroom for 20 bucks a month. >> Okay. >> And if you don't believe me, go ask anybody without them even around. >> Listen, man. I fully believe you. I'm saying that she's allowed to change her mind is what I'm saying. >> That's fine. So why can't she just do that? >> She did. The problem is that you have a warrant. That's not that. The problem is that you have a warrant. >> Nobody knew I had a word. >> Correct. I didn't know that you had a warrant until we had to until we had to come out here and identify you. >> Okay. Please. >> Come on, K. >> I'm telling you right now, they're going to have to kill >> They're going to have to kill 10 years of my life locked up. >> Who's going to have to kill you, my man? >> 10 years of my life. You know what that's like? >> I don't. I don't. And I never told you that I did. I told you. I know why. >> You know why I sit out here? Because I don't get in trouble with people. >> All right. Let's please get this done so that we can have the cigarette. >> All right. Come on, man. >> Don't wake me up like this. And I can't even >> Come on. >> I I need a cigarette. I'm telling you. >> I hear you. And if you want to have a cigarette, you have to comply with the process. If you don't comply with the process, we're not getting a cigarette. It's that simple. I've done that. >> I told you guys. >> I've given people cigarettes many times. Okay. It'll work. >> So, can we just put the handcuffs on and be done? Come on. Please. So, please stand up for me. Okay. You guys are allowed bipolar, man. Y'all can't do that. >> Chill, man. I'm out of patience, man. >> Enough. >> No, >> you're done. You understand? >> You guys won't You guys are You guys are freaking You guys are all going to get sued. I'm a manic bipolar that went into psychosis. You guys can't do this to me. [clears throat] >> Yeah. Just Can you listen that little [ __ ] dude? >> I'm not quit. >> I I'm done, dude. >> Yeah. >> You guys understand, dude? I'm medicic bipolar, man. >> I understand. You've told us about six times you had a gun. That's enough. >> No, I didn't. What the How did I say I had a gun? >> Caleb, you sit still. I'll loosen this [ __ ] >> You sit still. >> Oh, that's hurting even more. >> Yeah, because I can't trust you with your arm. >> You chill out. I'll loosen that. >> But you got to quit reaching up off the ground. >> You've lost all decision rights when you tried to pull that gun. >> What? I tried to pull what gun that came out of your pants. Don't even argue with me. I NEVER TRIED TO PULL no gun. That's in my dead step. I was grave. I never tried to pull no gun. You guys are cutting me, man. How? Why would you call me? >> You just told me I could stay here, did you not? >> Stop, man. Don't handle me, dude. >> For real, dude. Stop. I'm losing this right one, bro. It's cutting my [ __ ] I'm losing this right one, bro. It's cutting my [ __ ] You got No, >> I don't. Dude, what are you talking about? Just leave it right there. >> You guys want to take me for what? >> Dude, I don't >> I'm right here, bro. Getting out of nowhere. My face. I'm telling you, dude. Let me out of here. >> Let me out. I can't breathe in this [ __ ] >> God, dude. >> I can't breathe. That shit's cutting my [ __ ] man. >> You're staying right there. >> So, uh, just loosen my [ __ ] I'm already in here. >> They've been loosened. >> No, they haven't. They're cutting my [ __ ] I'm telling you. >> The more you move them up your arm, the more they're going to hurt. >> I'mma start breaking [ __ ] man. I'm telling you. >> Have at it. That's another charge. You want to be like that? Have at it. >> You thought cuz y'all think it's cool to send somebody away for 10 years. >> 10 years? I ain't got no mothers, no fathers, no nothing.
