You leave the door. >> I didn't say you're going to jail. >> But step out here, please. >> We're more concerned for your safety right now. >> How about you tell me where he's at in the house so I can narrow things down? >> Is it that big of a house? That's not my point. Can you tell me where he is? >> I don't know where he is in the house. >> Okay, you were looking down that way. >> She say Keith? >> No, he's in there. >> Keith? >> What? >> Who's she saying? Keith? >> No. Kenny. >> Kenny? >> What's Kenny's last name? >> 61 Central. Do we have any known associates by the name of Kenny? Our female? >> Yeah, she does have history. Guys don't know Kenny's last name. >> We'll see if we're going to find it then. >> They may know. >> He's in here. >> Why does he not want to come out? Is that a warrant or something? >> Come on out, Kenny. >> Hey, look. She ain't did nothing, buddy. All right. >> Okay. All right. Well, there's obviously a problem. >> She ain't did nothing. Listen, >> I didn't say she did. Stop talking here. >> Can I get my CL commission shorts on? >> No, you can step out here. >> All right. You had all that time to do this. So, step over here with that this officer. >> What's your last name, Kim? >> My I got a warning over county for probation violations. >> Hey, good breath. It's okay. >> I'm just saying she ain't did nothing. >> That's fine. Just step down stairs. Okay. >> Turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> That's fine. Can I just put some shorts on? Let her get my shorts. We'll get you some shorts. >> I ain't trying to run. I ain't >> I didn't say you were, but >> I love you. >> I'll be home when I get out. Okay. I just got want probation violation. Give me a kiss. >> What's your last name? Uhuh. Just wait. >> 95. We're out with Kenny. What state of birth? >> 1990. Do I got a place to come home? I come home. >> Can I Can I give >> Josh over there? >> Yes, sir. All right. Step. >> Roger. Go sit down. Sit on that top step. >> Yeah. I ain't trying to run, buddy. >> Okay. I mean, >> only reason I come out cuz I didn't want her to go to jail, but I ain't had she she wanted we didn't we had a little misunderstanding about she thought that my cash app card had been swiped and I told her my pen. That's all me and her was even in there talking about whenever the guy was outside the window. He heard us in there getting loud. It was just I was actually asleep. She woke me up about my cash out pen cuz she got an email saying that a transaction had came through on my cash app card. >> That's all it was over. I was asking who made the transaction cuz it was yesterday. >> All right. Yeah, baby. I love you. >> You She thinks you're stepping out on her or something? >> Yeah, she thought I was cheating on her. >> Are you? >> No, sir. I'm not. >> Can we step right here and talk? >> It was just misunderstanding is all it was. Britney, I love you. >> I want to have a conversation with you, not with him right now. Step in right here and talk. >> Britney, I love you. >> All right, we're just >> Let him Let him talk. He's going to get mad. >> Huh? >> Let him talk. He's going to get upset. I don't want him to get honory. >> But I ain't done nothing. I ain't even there fighting or nothing. I was asleep, honestly. >> Okay. >> And she just told me to take a shower. She said, "Baby, just take a shower and come in bed and lay with me." I take one with you. >> Okay. >> My daughter. >> No. If my other officer needs me, I need to be able to hear that. Tell me what's going on. What's happened today? >> And I was getting my stuff up for a shower whenever y'all knocked on the door. Me and her both in the bathroom, honestly. >> Okay. >> What? Where's the banging coming from? The screaming. People that don't live here are reporting this. You obviously are nervous about something. What is going Are you scared of him? >> I got a want probation violation, I'm pretty sure. >> Okay, Central. Uh, does Kenny have a 29? >> Can you stop? >> Hold on a second. >> Can you just give me a minute to talk? >> I did. I'm not saying anything. >> Just trying to get my [ __ ] together. >> Okay, good. Can you tell me about what's happening today? >> I went to Advantage to try to um get some services and, you know, went through the process of all that and came back. We were both recovering addicts. We're both coming off stuff. I mean, it's it's a long story. >> Okay. >> But when I woke him up about the cash app thing, >> okay, because he hasn't had his card. He hasn't been gone. Okay. He's been here the past couple days. >> Mhm. >> So, I got an email. He got an email saying that [clears throat] his card has been spent yesterday. So, I was asking how did that happen? Cuz it was in Calbert where his little exit lives. So, that's where it all. >> So, you guys had an argument and then what happened? >> I threw a lighter and that's when Kevin yelled >> and that's it. >> That's it. There wasn't property being destroyed. You weren't being hit. Look at me, ma'am. Ma'am, look at me, please. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Will you do me a favor? Because people have made claims. Will you walk me through to show me that nothing's broken? You can walk right with me. I just want to make sure that >> Thank you. >> I do. >> Yeah. I send a hit, too. I want you. >> Yeah. He's going to want me probation. And as soon as soon as I get there, probation is going to come see me. I was supposed to went report this morning, but I didn't have a ride. >> Whoops. >> And my uh officer Norton >> Mhm. >> I report every time I supposed to. He told me as soon as I can get there, he going to come drug test me and if I pass, he going to let me go. I'm not even stressing that. I just did almost four years in prison. >> Why? >> Credit card fraud. >> He gave you four years for credit card fraud. How much did you steal? >> I did a little bit. >> Like, holy crap, no big deal. You got to steal a lot to get to get felony time for money. >> Yeah, I know. I did. >> Was like a couple hundred,000. >> I want to make sure before I leave that I just talked just like get aware. All everything that I own, minding my kids stuff is in there in her tote that I was just going through. >> Mhm. Mhm. >> I just want to make sure that she going to let my stuff stay right there where I know my kids stuff is safe. Is that okay? >> Yeah. There's no reason for her to to abandon the property outside and let it get damaged. That would be unreasonable. >> I want to make sure that she going to let my stuff stay there. Britney, >> I'll talk to her. I I'll talk to her for you. You're fine. You've been cool with me. I I'll talk to her. >> I mean, I've been cool with you, buddy. I I'd like to get my shorts on before I walk across the trailer park and my boxers. Can I step in and just make sure there's nothing >> closet? >> All right, we can walk out. How long's he been here? >> Not going to have too much. >> Okay. Are you scared of him? You look scared. >> My damn nose. Can I just scratch him inside the house? It's all right. >> Yeah, relax. >> Sweat. >> I'm not going to touch it. Um >> I was going to ask you to touch it. >> Are those I'm scared to lose. >> Did anything happen between you guys today? Did he hit you, strike you? No. Then look like you got bruising on it. Some of it's older, but is that coming from him? >> I don't have to answer that question. >> I understand that, but I'm not concerned necess Well, >> so your your hesitation leads me to believe that you did get hit today. >> Was it today? >> Was it the other day when we were out here? >> Cuz I know the other day when we were out here, you were physically shaky. And I was a domestic violence detective for the last five years. And every indication that I'm seeing is that you are a victim of domestic violence and we're worried about you. I can tell you're scared. >> Sudden one day my sister showed up at her work looking for him. She had a warrant. >> And we do have resources and ways to protect you if you'll let us. >> You mind if I sit? I had a kid came. >> But we weren't even I was asleep Kevin. I was asleep buddy and she woke me up about a a transaction that came through on her email about my cash app. I ain't got no reason to lie. Okay. But you understand that that's our entire job as people lying to us, right? >> Yeah, I understand that. But look, I come out the door. I told you straight up what was going on. >> Why didn't you come out the first time then? >> Man, I I was supposed to go report my probation today or tomorrow and weren't taken care of. I got a probation warrant for a substance abuse class. He told me to come in and pass my urine test and I and I'd be straight. I didn't have a ride this morning. My dad's going to take me in the morning. >> Yeah. Well, you know, that makes us hot when somebody don't listen to. >> So, I was going to go report in the morning and get this warrant taken care of. It's just for a substance abuse class that I didn't take. >> Here's what I know. Look, I'm just I'm not going to touch you, but you have a bruise on your chin here. You have bruises on your chest. I see multiple bruises on your legs. You have bruises on your arms on your forehead. >> That's a yellow bruise on your forehead. If y'all only been dating a month and a half, that's a lot of bruising for that short amount of time. And I've been doing this for 23 years. He's been doing this for 15. And like I said, the last five years I've been a domestic violence detective. And for something that intense to be taking place in such a short amount of time, I'm just going to be honest with you, that is a dangerous situation for you. >> Britney, I love you, baby. >> And you know why he's saying that? Cuz he knows he's scared. Because he knows what he's done to you. And I don't know your past or anything of that nature, but I know you don't deserve this. You don't deserve anybody to treat you like a doors stop, a kicking mat. >> Hey, you know how loud she gets anyways. >> Huh? >> You know how loud she can be anyway. >> Look, I mean child coming to get me and the other two guys. I'm scared around here. So, I don't know. Now, >> I don't know what you've been through even before this relationship. And I'm not going to pre pretend that I do. I've never been hit. I've never been assaulted. But I've spoke to a lot of victims who have. And I can tell you're terrified. >> But I don't need no new charges. But I was asleep. He You heard that man say what what voice he heard. >> Mhm. >> It was a female voice. I a He didn't hear no hollering or nothing out of me. >> You still need that? >> Okay. >> Can I do one thing for you? No matter what you decide to tell us today. Okay. How about that? Can I call project safe and have them come talk to you about the services they do offer? Okay. And then they'll talk to you and you can decide whatever cooperation. They don't work with us. They are independent agencies. So if you decide to work with them and not talk with us, that's fine. But I want to make sure you get at least some level of help. Okay? I do want you to think while I call them about >> Britney. I love you, baby. dude talking to us. Have him put him in a car. >> Love you, too. >> I ain't going to be I ain't going to be in jail but a couple days, baby. >> Couple days. That' be like a day. I thought you'd be out in like a today. >> Soon as probation come sees me. >> Well, when's he going to come see you? Today? >> Probably tomorrow. >> It's lazy, isn't it? >> Huh? >> Only probation. >> What? >> I just We're not probation officers. >> Hear some shoes he can put on. He's obviously got to go to jail. He got a shirt he can put on. >> Let's take a walk. No, just put them on here and then you can walk into my car. >> Okay. >> Thank you, officer. >> All right, sir. I'm shake your hand. >> Hold on. Let me get this out of my hand first. >> I don't I don't need them shoes, though. I can just wear my slide around. >> It don't matter to me, man. >> You got any infectious diseases? >> Britney, I love you. >> Hello. >> No, I don't have no disease, sir. >> Okay, >> Britney, are we good? >> Yes, we're good. Just go back over there, please. you. I ain't [clears throat] got no disease, buddy. I mean, I ain't getting no new charges or nothing. >> I have no idea. I'm not investigating, officer. I'm standing here talking to you, making small talk. >> I pull the uh heels up right now. >> I mean, you >> It's fine. I'm an adult. >> I apologize. >> It's fine. I used to work in a jail. I've seen every little bit gibblet of more men than you ever will. So, >> you going to do the zipper for me? >> No, >> you ain't going to do the zipper. >> No, that's as far as it goes for me. >> Oh, man. You piece of No, I'm just playing. >> You know, I'm just playing. You ain't got to put the shirt on, man. You sure? >> Yeah. >> He's got a warrant. He's at least going to jail today for that. >> Okay. >> You look scared out of your mind. I can see that when you came to the door. You're like visibly shaking and you're covered in bruises. So, there's some >> scared. >> I can tell. That's why I asked you and that's why he asked you. This is not a good situation. I mean, those those those Tell me answer me this. Just answer me this. Answer me this. Those bruises did not come from you. Am I correct? Okay, that's a start. So, just take a seat on the couch and relax. All right. Okay. So, you have kids? >> Yes, I have three. >> And does Deax have them? >> Where are the other two? >> I mean, she would have to be the one to press charges on. >> No. >> Huh? >> No. How long you been staying there? >> Uh, about a month. >> Yeah. No, she's not the one to press charges. >> Who would be the one? >> State of Georgia. >> State of Georgia. >> Yeah. >> What would they press charges on me for though? >> I have no idea. What you But what you asked is that would she press charges? She could say, "No, I don't want to press charges." And we would still do it cuz y'all been living together. You have a domestic violence relation, family violence relationship as uh lives live together. >> I mean, when I say a month, I mean I've known her a month. >> Okay. >> I stayed with her like a week or so. I moved out. >> Have y'all had intimacy? >> What do you mean? >> Sex. >> And we had sex. Yeah. A while back. >> And have you been planning to stay there until you get on your feet? >> Not really. >> How long when did you plan on moving out? I mean, my stuff's there, but that's just because what I own is in a in a tote. >> Yeah. >> And I just take it wherever I go. >> Would you get you've been knowing her when you were in prison or something? >> No, I know her in high school. >> I've been back and forth when you heard another girl for last month. >> That's how you get an infectious disease, my friend. >> And I did. And I freaking trusted the wrong people and got in love with the wrong men. And shit's just [ __ ] falling apart ever since I freaking left the battle. It's just everything it's falling apart, >> okay? >> And I just want to [ __ ] my own place with my kids and just want a [ __ ] happy goring life. That's all the [ __ ] That's all I want. [laughter] >> There's nothing wrong with that. >> All right. Since you're in cuffs and we know you have a warrant, we have to read you something. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. >> Having these rights in mind, you wish to talk to us now. >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Who are y'all to each other? >> She is my uh my girlfriend. >> Okay. Uh, I met her probably a month ago. >> Month ago. >> Kind of seen each other on and off for the past month. >> Okay. How long y'all been living together? Did you move in right away or? >> I mean, I haven't really been living with her the whole time. I stayed with her for a couple of weeks and then I moved out and I recently just came back like day before yesterday. >> Okay. Um, >> when I say I come back, uh, I actually just brought my stuff into her house this morning. >> Still in a tote in her bedroom. >> All right. What was up with you coming through the window about last week? Uh, she my she had the door lock on the inside. Uh, >> okay. >> She I put my little boy through the window. >> Okay. >> It was nothing to it. Uh, >> but you said you just came back today. >> Yes, sir. I did. >> Okay. >> I've been back and forth messing with her and this other girl for about a month. >> How many days a week do you stay at this establishment? >> Maybe twice. >> Just twice a week? >> Yes, sir. >> She saying it was a little more than that. >> No more than two or three days a week here lately. >> Okay. At the beginning, was it full on two, three weeks? >> Yes, sir. And then >> she was saying it's about a month and a half, two months. about to have two months when we started. I'll tell you the exact date of May. >> May 16th, maybe I think exact date. >> Okay. All right. >> First time I ever come over this place. >> What happened today? >> I was sleep last night in her bed. >> Okay. >> Woke up this morning. She went to Advantage. Her friend brought her there. >> When she got back, I was still asleep. >> Okay. >> She made me a omelette. >> She made you a what? >> Omelette? I thought you said a vomit. I was >> No, no, no. >> What is that? An omelette. All right. the omelette and um I went back to sleep. >> Okay. >> And uh she woke me up hollering saying that there was a transaction in Colbert, Georgia, near where that other girl lived on my cash up car today. I told her that I have not been to Calbert today. It was a pending transaction that I made the other day. >> Okay. >> And she could log into my cash app and see. >> Okay. >> And she said I was [ __ ] lying. Whatever. I said maybe I'm not lying. It was it was all over the cash app transaction that was pending. It just cleared today and [snorts] said the email today. >> Okay. >> And that's all it was. I never hollered or actually when y'all got here this time. I was actually She said, "Baby, we go take a shower." Said, "You'll feel better." And I She said, "We'll take a shower together." >> You didn't yell at her. >> I got a little loud at first, you know, but I never hollered and cussed. Uh I actually told her, I said, "I'll just leave if you don't believe me." And she said, "No, she didn't want me to leave." Cuz that the young man that was out of the trailer, I don't know if you saw him. He said he come by and heard you yelling at her. >> Well, he >> this not so young man said he heard you yelling at her. >> He told me in front of him while ago that all he heard was a female voice. >> Well, right, wrong, officer. >> People tend to say things differently in front of you as they do in front of me. >> When I say I yelled, uh, I didn't yell at her in a threatening manner. Uh, by no means at all. I told her, "Damn it. I was just trying to argue with her about I know I'm telling the truth." >> Okay, let me ask you this question. What were the slamming against the wall sounds that both of them said they heard? >> She throw her vape or something other. I think >> a vape to make the whole side of the trailer shake. >> I don't know that I heard anything. Anything that got probably get stab. >> How does she have bruises on her arms, her legs, her chest, her forehead? >> I have no idea where those from. I just came home. I told you two days ago. >> Okay. You don't know where she got those bruises. How come anytime I mention about you hitting her, she becomes visibly shaken? And >> I have not ever put my hands on her, sir. >> Never. >> Never. No, sir. Look at my hand. >> Okay, I'll be back. So, I'll tell you what we know so far. Young man said he was coming by and heard you screaming sound like for help. Heard him screaming at you and heard something what he considered to be thrown against the wall so violently that he said the window shook. You know what I'm talking about there? I'm not going to ask you what that is yet. I'm just I appreciate you being honest. He said he was so scared he ran and got the groundskeeper. The groundskeeper come back, heard you screaming, Kevin yelling at you again, and he heard what he considered to be somebody being slammed against the wall again. >> Nobody You didn't say nobody. >> Well, I'm just saying that's what he thought. He said it was shaking, banging. Um, and I'll tell you what concerns me is doing this as long as I have a lot of times with abusers when you confront them with two eyewitnesses, the amount of bruises you have. Cuz I asked them, I said, "How did all those bruises happen?" Most people say, "Oh, you know, I pushed her." It's called minimization because they want to explain something away. You know, I pushed her. She failed. But it wasn't on purpose. The ones that are really dangerous to me is the answer he gave me was I ain't never touched her. She's a liar. She's crazy. She's a drug addict. It's all your fault. He has taken zero responsibility. He did admit to coming in through the window that night or that day saying he put his child through the window to unlock the door. But he is very calm. No, that's that's concerning to me because at least people that are in emotional state when they're angry when things just happen, they at least can explain it away of I lost control with my experience. You know what I'm saying? And it was a moment. Somebody that's calm and blames it all on you with all the face of this evidence in front of him tells me that one he doesn't care about you and two he's going to do it again cuz he is that calm. Like he thinks we have nothing on him. And that concerns me with the fact of how scared you are. I don't know if you understand what I mean by that. And you ain't got to answer this, but that tells me that in the, like he said, month and a half, two months y'all been together, he's probably been beating on you at least good four times a week. Not that much. How many times would you say? >> About three times. >> Three times. >> Oh, just three incidents. They're pretty good beating where And I don't say that to be trifling. I just You got a lot of bruising. >> Well, no, I wouldn't because eventually you're going to be >> I'm so thirsty, man. I want I want water. I ain't got no water. I'm just honestly, like I said, just having a chat with you. And believe it or not, I'm worried about you. I mean, >> when's the last time he hit you? >> Look up. >> Okay. Is that his chin one? Cuz that chin one and the forehead would look pretty fresh. >> Shares up with his daughters. You know, I have a freaking soft spot for kids. He's like, "You're gonna you're gonna leave me out here with my kids and have this walk this and that." So, of course, I'm going to meet again. He wanted to work stuff out. That's why I told him to leave. I was I didn't want didn't want to be here. He gra got me by the neck and threw me on the bed and I did. >> You did call 911 last night? >> Mhm. >> Okay. The violence stopped then? >> Yes. >> Where were they at when it was going on? coordinator in the hallway. >> Okay. Mind if I look at it? >> How did you feel when he was grabbed your neck? Did he just throw you in the bed or did he squeeze your neck or >> How' that make you feel? >> Like I was about to I couldn't breathe. >> Okay. >> I was about to die. >> How long do you think it went on for >> that time? If he It wasn't that long. 24 seconds. >> Kenny, how old are your daughters? >> My daughters are uh I got a four-year-old daughter and a seveny old daughter. >> Okay. Were they here last night? >> They were uh like I picked them up last night and as soon as I picked them up, I had their mother meet me directly and pick them up before we got to Britney's house. >> Okay. Cuz she's saying they were in this trailer last night. >> We came to her trailer and as soon as we got to her trailer, we left. Okay. So, here's this is important for you, Mr. Kenny. Do you know what a forensic interview is? >> No, sir. >> Forensic interview is an interview that we can do. We can mandate defects can mandate it. We can ask cooperation from your your wife, but if we get defects involved, they can they can order it. >> Yes, sir. >> Um, and what that is, that's a independent agency that are highly trained to interview children. >> Yes, sir. >> So that they're not leading questions. They get the truth out of children about what took place. >> Okay. When we talk to your children and if DeFax has them come in for a forensic interview? >> Yes, sir. >> Are they going to say that they witnessed you assaulting Miss Britney last night? >> No, sir. Absolutely not. I did not assault her last night. >> Cuz she's alleging that you threw her, grabbed her by the neck, threw her down on the bed, and was squeezing her throat, and your kids were going crazy, screaming, asking you to stop. >> No, sir. >> Ask my kids. They didn't see nothing like that last night. Absolutely not. >> Why would she make that up? I have no idea why she said that. She wasn't saying that while ago, >> but it doesn't matter what she was saying a while ago. >> Yeah, I understand. I don't know why she's saying that. The throw is actually she's got some kind of psychopath. She's crazy. No, I do love her. Now, >> when the offender or the suspect runs out of excuses, they train us that psychologically the offender goes to what's called victim blaming. >> I don't First thing they say is they're crazy. They're on drugs. >> I was actually asleep. I was actually asleep today. What is your uh ex-wife's name? >> My ex-wife is Destiny. >> You know a phone number for her? >> Don't tell you the same thing I told you. I picked them up. >> All right. It was just I'm sorry I have to call you under these circumstances. Do you have a minute to talk? >> Yeah. >> So, we're out at uh out with your uh the father of your children, Mr. Kevin. >> Yeah. >> And his current girlfriend, Britney. I don't know if you know her or not. >> Yeah. So, we are investigating an allegation of domestic violence that occurred today and last night. And she is alleging that he physically assaulted her in front of your >> back. Hold on one second. Y'all back inside for a second. I'm talking on the phone. Y'all have to go inside. Will you stay outside? Don't come inside. I'm sorry. >> That's okay. She's alleged that he physically assaulted her and attempted to strangle her in front of your kids and it caused a pretty stressful situation for your children. They were yelling and screaming for daddy to stop. You could imagine what it would be like. Did they say anything to you about that situation? >> No. >> I understand one of them seven years old. >> My young my middle child, she's seven. >> Okay. She was there last night. >> Um he came over here and picked up he dropped my son off and then he picked up our two other children which was Kylie and Jackie. Jackie's four and Kylie seven, >> right? He was saying that that's who was here. Is it possible for you to ask them an open-ended question and it would be like of your seven-year-old, not your four-year-old, and just asked if she witnessed anything happened last night at when she was with daddy? >> Yeah, I can do it right now. Hold on. >> Scott. Scott. >> Hey, let me call you back. I hit the wrong thing. >> She said that they didn't even go over there. Okay. So, they're saying they didn't go into the trailer. >> Yeah. They said that they went to his friend's house cuz they know Britney, >> right? >> You know, so she said that they didn't even go over there. >> Uh, thank you for the help. >> Okay. >> Byebye. >> You kids are loud. >> If they charged me right here for me and her arguing, fighting, whatever, what would I get charged with? >> Okay. I'm not going to tell you what you're being charged. I'm going to tell you the code section. Simple battery is any provoking or insulting contact. Literal battery is leaving any type of marking. >> So both those are felonies. >> No, those are both misdemeanors. Literal battery on the second conviction is a felony. Conviction, not charge. >> Okay. >> Uh right now for sure definitely have overall. >> Yes, sir. I know. >> But you're going to jail right now though. So >> would you charge? >> Huh? >> You charged also? >> I don't know that yet. >> Okay. I hope not. I ain't done. Okay. I promise you. Just have a seat and uh those your cups or mine get them outside. What? Mine are yours? >> Those are yours. >> Okay. Yeah. Bring them back. >> Yeah, I got you. All right. >> Yeah. Yeah. Scoot. Yeah. Yeah, that's fine. I got more room in mine cuz Yeah. He's got I got that gap. >> All right. You got anything in your prison wallet or anything like that? It's going to get you in trouble at the jail. >> Anything on me, period. You got me in my box. You put these pants on me. So, if there's anything, >> you know what a prison wallet is? Uhuh. >> All right. Sit down then. You don't have anything in there. >> Oh, my ass. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Push in. You going have to swing your feet. Push in. All right, I'm pissed. I still shot my shoe, but I got you. He's fine. I'll do that for you. >> All right. What are you charging her with? >> We're still trying to She's terrified. So, I He's definitely going to have other agency hold. >> Yeah, >> but then I don't We still have to work through with her. So, she's terrified of it. Don't tell him that. >> No, no, no, no. I'm good with sitting. >> Miss Britney, I only have one final question and then we're going to get out of your hair. Okay. Um, this bruising I know you told Austral that you did not do it to yourself. >> Not. No, I did not. >> Is this bruising caused by him? >> The ones I'm sure of is right here. >> The facial bruising. >> Mhm. >> I was going to ask you. I wasn't trying to be rude, but your eye looks it actually, >> maybe I didn't notice it earlier. Looks like it's gotten browner since we've been here. >> You're sure no violence happened today? Or am I just It's a different lighter. Okay. All right. We are going to take a warning out for battery which will put bond conditions on them in the short time until y'all can do that. I hope your day gets better. >> Well, that can only go up, right? So, >> they keep telling. [laughter] >> A few days later, she was ready to tell officers more detail about how she got the bruises and how long it took for the suspect to move into her home after they met. But yeah, he put his hands around my neck and um strangled me to a point to where I couldn't breathe. I got away from him somehow. I went into the bathroom and I tried to break down the shower curtain rod. >> Mhm. >> To try to hit him with it and he got it from me and banged my head against the shower wall, which is how these bruises got there. >> He's been trying to call me and beg me not to make a report and do this and that. and he told me that you said for him to tell me that he loved me or whatever, but um I just don't want to have any contact with him at all whatsoever. >> And I understand that. So, where did you meet him in May? >> He came to my house. >> Did you know him before? >> I mean, I knew him from school, but we've never That was the first time we ever hung out. >> Okay. So, basically, he came over your house. Y'all ended up talking. At any point did he ever move in? >> Yeah. >> When was that? >> Wasn't long after. About 2 weeks in, I think. Moved him and his kids stuff out. I mean, stuff in. And then I made him leave again. Then he moved in with Kayla not too long after he moved his stuff back in just the other day. So, yeah. >> So, who is Kayla? >> She used to be a really good friend of mine and that's who he um cheated on me with. and uh was [ __ ] her behind my back. >> Okay. So, it wasn't his mother of his kids or anything like that. >> Yeah. >> Okay. The bruising on your legs. >> Yeah. See, I'm clumsy. I I know for sure that the bruises on my face were for him, but >> Yeah. I mean that's not >> I noticed while we were on scene there was more bruising on the I guess that side >> was like finger marks or something that >> Yeah. Um >> you can be honest. >> You can be honest. Um I mean >> I believe he told me yesterday but >> Okay. Well, he would grab me like when we were having sex or whatever. Yeah. >> And and I don't mean to be embarrassed. We hear all kinds of things. But he did tell me that and I just wanted to make sure that those were not like defensive wounds or something that he had done. All right. And at any time were any of the kids present to see any of that? >> His son was present at one point and his both of his daughters cuz apparently Destiny's about to go to prison or the his baby mama's about to go to prison for a few I don't know. >> All right. Um, anything else I might have missed or Okay. Hopefully your ride's still out front. Yeah, >> the suspect was booked for battery involving family violence. The case was later resolved in court where the suspect entered a guilty plea. At sentencing, the court imposed 12 months of probation and $50 in fees.
