On May 13th, 2024, officers responded to a shoplifting in progress. He's very slow so he doesn't make it very far and I catch him and uh he also has warrants out of Bear County. Now he's going to sit there a minimum two three weeks knowing that it's a probation violation cuz they're going to violate him for obstruction. That's just a decision that you need to talk to him about that if he wants to be changing his life into the right way, can't be doing this. >> No. >> Especially not in Clark County. We'll see how long that lasts. >> The suspect was booked for theft by shoplifting, obstruction of an officer, and possession of drug-related objects. On May 24th, 2024, the obstruction charge was dismissed and he entered to a solo plea to everything else. As part of sentencing, he was placed on 12 months of probation.
