back of the building this prompted her to look over the security cameras which she discovered Ed an employee stealing multiple items from the store most of it being beer remember kids don't steal unless you want to end up in jail or Worse on YouTube let's get into it hey do calls he was working last night and check him on camer still in a can back here okay still in a couple of cans of beer in the pool mhm [Music] yeah is there something you want to press charges for or do you want to Bar um I do want to chares okay can you itemize the list of what he stolen awesome and then do you have his name what's his name you got to write down can you spell for me they know that uh no you know want to go ahead and run that the V he just got out of just his just his can we take it away there's a terrfic threat at the Mark we'll probably have to go to someone threatened to blow it up oh really so it's like a picture poison which one you want so you said he was um he's been to jail before County oh he just got out of Jack County like week and a half maybe two okay okay but I know he just SP few months in do you happen to have the security footage from yesterday of him stealing it we go we'll go around and get it they have pretty good video uh is there like an office or something that we can take them to to talk to him um this is the office here but in if you go back to the right the skull is actually back here behind this thing M cuz it's out of date and we're supposed to be sitting the back so he's just taking thought us out of date I guess I don't even know that he paid attention to that thing he goes over here on the computer act like he's scanning it and pushes the receipt button to make a piece paper like Signs it because I made them sign their receipts for everything they get but he like when I turn this thing around it's clearly a um blany try to get my camera to get it yep okay I see in his hand act like he scanned it and I'm actually going to turn this around so we can watch the screen well it was party to a crime I worked at fridge but I was thought I was clear that cuz it's on camera did I wasn't doing the shoplifting the guy that I knew was in there doing it but they tried to blame me but I didn't do it what time was this last night probably right around my closing uh between 5 and S i' back and forth doing things mhm you know stockings taking out trash stock at our FR shelves you know I took the can SCH I took I took peanuts because we're allowed to take peanuts okay unless I know I'm not she didn't even mention the peanuts so all we knows I did grab be right I I don't want I mean if they just want to let me go I don't want to get back no more trouble I'll admit CST I did it and whatever Happ I don't want to go to jail over a beer yeah yeah it seems like something Pretty Petty to go to jail over I just admit to it that they won't let me go that's punishment enough trying to get back on my feet mhm uh you good standing here with him yeah all right I'll go see what they're talking about over there I'll be right back good thing about this is he SCS it up and deletes it and cancels cancels it he can he Rings it up deletes it then cancels the whole sale yeah so you can see on here that he Rings it up cancels it and then he presses the button for the receipt to come out when it's blank and that's for what the the skull yeah he said he admitted to taking the skull he said he forgot to pay for it no he very clearly but then he said he allowed to take then finally aded to he admitted to taking the beer M he did do you have the video of him taking beer as well keep knock yeah you can see it on there he scans it cancels it and you even see on the left side over here like where he like this right here like as you're watching the screen receip that will show him like pulling it up and then yeah so you did take alcohol so hopefully um we'll see what she says not youing to it um um go from there yeah I've been I mean I got out Saturday was a week or two ago and I ain't had what' you go in for prob Bas okay what your own publication for uh that one was suspended license and that party to a crime and this was in Jackson County yeah okay every been arest in Cart County uh yeah about 3 years ago how long you been working here I was working here when I got arrested I called the police here on a guy that was trying to buy beer and I wouldn't let him because he was intoxicated and he made terroristic threats towards me and I called them up here and they run and I had a warrant I didn't know about for probation so I was on non reporting and they sold out the Jackson came probation to a private firm so I just assumed that I was not reporting that I didn't know what to do left the message never heard back and I totally forgot about it so the warrant was like two years old yeah I just got it back from that was this a sixpack you took noid just a can you only took one yeah so that back there stocking him and saw one over here one out six set it over there so you took one out of the sixpack no I took a one like the tall uhhuh Steel Reserve yeah just see took one out I wanted the these drawers like or refrigerators a pack of a pack of dip and um peanuts and the peanuts you said cheap or free okay he canceled it press the receipt button to I just for blank like just blank paper and then so it made him look like it like he did it but he took out a date like from the corner over there like he went way over the corner and reached behind it and got some in the back so I assume he's fired now oh yeah okay are youall going to B him um yes please how long do you want to B him um at least that's what I do with all of them gotcha you've done the process before like you know you have to tell him i' probably tell him that he's fired too kind of go from there go 1095 and uh if you find that I'll be right back and I'm going to record a couple of them on my phone okay and then for it so I mean this is all less than five bucks worth of stuff well see the thing is in Georgia law it's a depth still so um the way way it is is it it's if the owner or the or whoever is um deciding to press chargers they are the ones who decide to press charges um so if she wants to press charges for you taking items then unfortunately she wants to press charges and then we'll have to you have to go to jail for that so or she can bar you um but you be that if you be bar that means you will lose your job too so we'll see what she decides to do did you kind of did you know that this was happening no I didn't know how this is stupid yeah I'm facing eviction this has nothing to do with y'all I know but so I've been stressed out and no money it's just you know yeah you yeah she going to arrest me yeah I can't talk to her not right now just turn off you find your back I call my line off can you put your hand closer this arm closer probably looks like it unti you want to go and check search them right here we'll take that off of them if you can can I talk the crystal yeah she's going to have to come speak with she got a couple things to tell you before we go um in a few minutes um you fired him and then it was that those items there did he take the whole sixpack or was it um that's what he was refilling his cup with in the back so you okay the bottles back there this morning okay and then I started watching the videos and watching him he was taking a cut back there full up no I stopped yesterday okay so gotcha how long has it been working here all together or is it all together he's been here probably eight or nine months okay and then how there was like a Hiatus between him going to Jackson County and then coming back he has been back um about two and half three weeks he was gone how how many months has he gone um he was gone 90 days but it's not the 90 days where you get 45 and it wasn't straight 90 some kind of work thing about five months he got loed up here he just got out week yeah that's what he was saying yeah which he got P up in June yeah and just got it okay so he hasn't been back for too long just about a week and a half week and a half okay um you know where he stays I was just wondering he probably tell us he's pretty honest about it like said they yeah yeah for uh for theft so um he said to give her a call so appreciate it thank you did you get a case number would you would you like one okay you got a case case card yeah if you want to give it to Miss Crystal here's the case number um if you do choose to do so within 3 to five business days you can go to the um department off El and get a cop report that's if you choose to do so or if the company wants to all right sounds good thank you yep no problem you have a good day
