That's why I got That's why I have to do my investigation. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So you guys used to date? >> Yeah. >> Uh you guys work together? Yeah. Okay. How long How long did you guys date? >> Um it was a couple years, but we've been broken up for a while. >> And then how did he end up over here tonight? >> We have been talking a little bit and he still had some of his stuff here and >> Yeah. >> Please. It's okay. >> Well, I don't I don't think it is right now. That's what I'm >> How can I convince you it is? >> You're not going to, okay? Because I I know I know what I'm doing, right? I know I'm I'm I know what I'm doing. I'm good at my job. I've got to figure out what's going on, okay? And if he's inside I need to talk to him, okay? >> He is not. >> He's not. So, like I said, there's there's two cars outside. I I only see one door. >> There's Okay, so there's a second one. >> There's a second >> This side, see how there's like 155? >> Yeah, and 157. Who What kind of car does your neighbor drive? >> A truck. >> A truck, I got you, okay. What color is that truck, do you know? >> A gray truck. >> Gray, okay. So, this guy he came over today, right? What did you guys get to argue about? >> We were just arguing about like our past relationship and his kid and stuff and I don't have his kid. It's his kid and like him letting me see him and all that stuff. >> Yeah. Okay. Do you want an ambulance for any of your injuries? No, no. Okay. How did you sustain your injuries? >> I just fell. It's It's okay. >> It's not okay. It's not okay. Okay. I cannot in good conscience leave, okay? I can't do that. >> I would not like you to go inside my house. >> and that's okay. >> My dog's in there. She's paralyzed. She's already a little freaked out. I just please. >> Okay. I'm a dog guy, that makes you feel any better. Okay, I'm good I'm good with dogs. >> She was paralyzed herself a couple months ago and we've been trying to get her back to health and all that stuff. Yeah. I just please, I don't want to cause problems. I just want to be >> Okay. That's okay. I still have to do my investigation, right? Okay, I mean you got bruises all all over you right now, okay? I mean there's one right there, you got another one on your other arm. Like I said, there's another one right there. >> A lot of them are from work. >> What do you do for work? >> I work at a Dunkin' Donuts, but I just run it and distribute all the time. >> Got you. Do you have any other injuries that I need to know about? I'd prefer if you'd be honest with me, okay? Okay. Um how did you sustain that? >> I don't know. >> You I >> I don't know. >> So, you didn't fall? >> I I don't know what happened. It's okay though. >> It's not okay. It's not okay. You guys haven't lived together, which means you guys share a domestic violence relationship. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, now I have to investigate. >> and I don't want to like ruin someone's life, and please. >> Okay. What Why are you afraid you're going to ruin his life? >> Cuz like that's what happened with my ex-boyfriend, Adrian. I called the police on him, and he like went to jail, and it messed up a bunch of >> 415. Do you think that this guy was would be going to jail today? >> I don't know. I know that like if there are marks that the cops think are caused from that, then they do, and I don't want that to happen. >> That's because it's not okay for people to put their hands on on their domestic partner, right? >> We're not partners. >> But you were. >> Exactly. That's what I mean. It's still not okay for you to be a victim, right? >> Yeah. >> That's not okay, and that's not the way you need to That's not how you're going to live your life, okay? And I That's what I'm saying. I can't leave, okay? So, that's why I need I need to conduct an entire investigation. >> like to talk about it. Like how do we get through it if I don't want to talk about it? >> So, I I'm Is Is he inside? >> No. >> He's not? >> No. >> Okay. Uh wrong house, but okay. She's going to talk to you as well, okay? >> Okay. >> We need you to be honest with us, okay? We're We're here >> I would like to say anything. That's what I'm saying. >> All right. Got you. Okay. So, something 100% happened. Something 100% happened. She's saying that he's not inside. She's got a mark on her collarbone, and she's crying. She opened the door crying. She's not going to search the house. I'm going to go back run back and see if I can get tags off collars. If you just want to talk to her, see she'll she'll be more responsive to you. >> Okay. Hey. What's going on, sweetie? >> Nothing. I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to have a conversation about it. I don't >> Okay. It's okay. >> Why Why are you crying then? >> It's okay. It was just an argument. Like everything is fine. >> It's just an argument? >> Yeah. >> What are you arguing about? >> We're just I don't want to talk about it. >> You don't want to talk about it? >> Yes, I am okay. >> Do you need an ambulance? >> No, ma'am. >> Do you have somebody that you can call, maybe a family member or friend? >> You can call your mom? Okay. It was just an argument? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Was that your boyfriend or >> No, we used to date, but we don't anymore. I would just like just please leave. >> Okay. Do you have a safe place to go? >> Yeah, here. >> Here? Here's your safe place to go? >> Yeah, this is my house. >> If your ex-boyfriend is showing up and you're crying like this >> It's okay. >> You know, you're you're clearly not safe. >> Please. >> Okay. >> I would not like to comment. I don't want to talk about it. I just would like some of you to leave, please. >> Okay. Why do you want us to leave so bad? >> Cuz I just don't want to deal with the police. Like I just I >> Okay. >> I would really like if you guys left. >> I got you. >> How do Do I have to talk about it? Like do I >> Well, just just based off of the allegations that are being brought >> Mhm. >> we're we're just trying to investigate it to the furthest extent. >> house with my dog. >> He's not going to. He's just going to check around back to make sure that, you know, your home is secure. >> Okay. >> And you're clearly in distress and you're not >> I'm okay. I promise. >> I I know you're saying that, but you are clearly very scared right now. And we just we just want to help you, okay? We're not trying to arrest anyone. We just want to make sure that you're safe. >> I know. I just I really do not want you here. >> Okay. >> I don't want to deal with the police. I don't want to >> Why don't you want to deal with this? >> I just I don't want to go through all this. I just don't Like do I have a choice? >> Did he live with you before? >> At one point, yes. >> He did? Okay, so how long did he live with you? >> For a couple years, but we haven't been living together for a while. >> Okay, so it in the state of Georgia, if at any point in time you'll have shared any kind of residency, it'll qualify as a domestic violence type relationship. And so therefore, yes, we do have to investigate it. It doesn't matter even if you said, "Yes, I do want to press charges." It's now based on the state to press charges. So, even if you don't want to talk with us now, somebody else will come and speak with you later in the future. >> Okay. >> Okay, and investigate it further. I know that you're not feeling safe. I know that you're feeling scared right now. >> I would really like if you guys would >> I know you want us leave. Is he still here? >> No, ma'am. >> Okay. When did he leave? >> Um about 20 minutes ago. >> About 20 minutes ago? Okay. Was he in a car? Did he take off on foot? We just need to talk to him and figure out what's going on. >> still want to like open anything up. Like I just I >> You're not You're not messing anything up. We just We're just trying to make sure that you're safe and make sure that you're okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And you're saying that there was an argument happening, but somebody else called because of how loud your screams were. You show up and you are crying. >> Yeah. >> Please let us help you. >> It's okay. I don't >> It's It's not okay. Please let us help you. >> You know, you said your neighbors aren't home? >> I There's truck here. I don't know if they're home. >> Okay. Is it okay if I knock on their door? You said it's the only one left here? >> Yes, but please don't knock. >> I'm not going to knock. I'm going to You can open this one. >> I don't know if my door is open. It's I just don't want my dog to freak out. >> I got you. >> You're good. >> Okay. Is yours the red Toyota back there? I got you. You guys parked awful close to each other. >> Yeah. Sometimes she pulls in weird, like >> Yeah, yeah, I couldn't walk through between the two of them. >> My goodness. She's parked over that first parking spot. >> Yeah. What's her name? >> Jessie. >> Jessie. I got you. Do you know her last name? >> I don't. >> No, all right. That's fine. >> Do you have her phone number? I don't. >> Okay. >> All right. We'll try. Who's the So, who's the guy? >> I don't want to tell you. >> Is it Logan? >> I don't want to tell you. Do I have a like an option? >> I know something happened, okay? >> Yeah. >> And it's not okay for you to be okay with it. >> Yeah. >> Okay? >> I agree. >> So >> Not that something happened. I just agree that like it's not I don't know what to say. I'm like I'm talking to myself. >> No, we're So, we're we're here to help you, right? That's what That's what we're here to do. And like I was saying, it's it's not okay for you for you to be the victim, okay? And I That's what I think happened today. I think that you're the victim of something, okay? And I think it's at least a battery cuz I have you have visible injuries on you. Okay? And it's so it's not okay for you to be okay with being the victim. And that's what we're we're here to help. Okay? >> But if I don't want help, where do we go from there? >> Well, we're kind of at a a stand the old standoff there, right? >> Yeah. >> Because we can only do so much with the the information that we have right now, okay? I think that Logan's inside. I think that Logan did this to you, but if you don't want I mean, it's it's hard. You know, my hands are going to be tied when you don't want to let me know give me that information, okay? >> Yeah. >> I think that's your truck there. I think that's his, okay? I don't think that's a neighbor's. I don't think the neighbors are home. Okay? There's a lot of parking spots for two cars for the car to be that close to each other, okay? I do this frequently, okay? >> But I appreciate you guys coming to help me, but I just I would not like to do anything with this, you know? >> Did he threaten you? >> No. >> Did he threaten any dog? >> No. >> Okay. Why Why do you feel okay with him hurting you like this? >> So, last time I don't remember exactly cuz it's been a minute, but uh he was driving around and I think it was a little Ranger or something. I don't know. >> I just I would not like to pursue this. >> Why not? >> Cuz I don't want >> Who Who has he threatened to make you feel like this? >> I just I would really not like to pursue this. >> Please let us help you. >> Please, no. Nothing's happening. I just I don't want you guys to go to his >> is happening. >> She's paralyzed. I don't want to like stress her out more than I have. I would really like if you guys left. And I don't know how to make you guys leave without >> The thing is is that we can clearly to that you're unsafe. >> Yeah. >> We I don't feel unsafe. I feel okay. Like I would really like if you guys left. >> We don't. >> Yeah, I think that's his truck. Cuz this comes back to his dad or something if I remember correctly. 10-32's in here all over the place. This one's suppressed. Be careful all these windows. Yeah, that's going to change the game here. No way a neighbor parks this close. And no way the neighbor has a truck registered to his dad. >> Why do you want us to leave so badly? >> Cuz I just don't want it to be with the police. >> I know you I know you don't. He's going to hurt you. >> It's I don't It's not >> If it's not us now, then it's going to be somebody else later coming and investigating. Okay? But I understand, but we can't do that. I know you're telling us to leave and I know that you're you're really insistent on it. But if he's already hurting you like this this early on in the night, what's going to happen at 3:00 a.m., you know? >> I just would really like if they left. I don't >> Okay, well we're not going anywhere. >> So where do we go from there? >> I'm not sure. >> Okay. Can I say here what we think? >> Yes, ma'am, you can. >> He's got three guns in his truck. >> Once officers looked up her ex-boyfriend, they found that he had a warrant that he got in December from allegedly threatening her. >> Those warrants have this address on it. >> Yeah. >> He's going with us. >> Yeah. >> Whether that means we're kicking out your door, which I don't want to do, or you're letting us in. He's going with us. I know I don't want you in my house. Like I don't want We have a warrant. We have a warrant. >> But he's not here. >> His truck is here. All his guns are here. I know he's here. I was here last time. I don't know if you remember me when he was driving around Hal Meth back in like December or something. We're We're beyond that. The little ifs or what not. I He is here and I have a warrant that says I can look in here. Does he have any other guns inside that I want to know because I want him to be as safe as we are. >> I'm just trying to get him to come out. Please don't kick my door. I please don't. >> Okay. Well, let me talk to our partner and we'll see if we can do that, okay? >> Please. >> Okay. >> Please don't. >> Okay. Let me go talk to my partner cuz he's in charge, okay? >> Okay. Please. >> Just stand right here for me. Does he have any other guns in there? >> I don't >> Okay. >> My gun is >> Where is your gun? >> I >> And he does have more guns inside. >> Awesome. Even better. >> Go stand by with our police and make sure she don't try to do something stupid. >> Do you want to try to get him to come out? Say we want to eat one. >> No. Negative. We're not going to give him the hostage. >> So, unfortunately at this time I can't let you go back in the house. I I know that, but >> going to freak out, please. >> The thing is is >> I I can't talk him into >> I understand. >> Please, please, please, please. >> You got to step with me. >> Please. >> Okay. We're going to step down here, okay? >> Please. Can I just go like watch my dog in the room, please, please? She's so like >> I'm sorry, but I can't let you go back in. >> Please. >> I'm sorry, but I can't let you go back in. >> What situation could you let me? I just please. >> There is not one right now. >> Please. I'm so scared that she's going to get hurt again. She's going to freak out, please. >> I I understand. >> understand what you're saying right now, but I can't let you go back in. >> the door and ask him to for your safety? >> For your safety I can't let you go back in right now. >> go to the door and just ask him to come with me? Can you come with me? >> I can't. I'm sorry. >> Please, please. >> I'm sorry, I can't. I'm sorry, I can't. >> Please. >> I can't. >> What >> I can't let you go back in right now. He's already hurt you once today, and he will do so again, okay? >> He's not going to. I'm just scared he's going to hurt himself. He says he's going to blow his brains out, please, please, please. >> Okay. You got to step down at the end of the driveway with me, okay? I'm sorry, sweetheart. >> Please, can I be in there at least when you guys go in so my dog doesn't freak out? >> So, we're >> begging you. >> I'm sorry, but we we have to do our job. >> But can >> we can't we can't do that at this time, okay? >> But I she's going to freak out and she's like already hurt herself. I already paid $10,000 to get her out. >> Please. I'm begging you. >> I I know. >> Please. >> I know you love her, and I'm sorry. >> Please, don't let him stuff her in. >> I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I can't let you. Okay? We don't want you going back in there. We know he's got guns in there. >> Please. I just I'm so scared she's going to get hurt. Please. >> what we're going to do is we're going to step down here while they're figuring out what to do. And you and I are going to attempt to contact him on the phone from my phone and talk to him and see if he will step out. >> that she's going to get hurt. >> Let's step over here, okay? >> Okay. I can ask him to come out. He'll come out. I promise you. >> I got you. >> Can we just walk to the door together? >> So right now, my primary concern is your safety, okay? Then it goes to my safety, okay? And so and then it's going to go to his safety or then it's going to go to the neighbor's safety then it's going to go to his safety, okay? Your dog is going to be the very bottom right there. I know you don't want to hear that, okay? But I have to protect the people first. >> I know, but I'm so scared. I put so much into it lately. I spent $10,000 to >> going to hurt you. We're not going to hurt your dog. >> She's going to freak out. I just please >> you. Let me Let me >> When am I allowed to go in? >> Uh once we get him in custody. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Can I just walk to the door with you and just ask him? >> No, ma'am. >> We can open the door. >> No, ma'am. Do you know his phone number? >> I don't but at the top of my head but you guys should have it because he's called y'all. >> Okay. Perfect. You know what we're going to do is you'll step this way for me, okay? I know it's Watch the muddy. We're going to just I mean we're going to use this big old brick wall right here as kind of our protection, all right? >> to yell through the window? >> Not right now. You know, if we can get him on the phone, that's going to be the easiest, okay? Um but we're going to exhaust all those resources and then if that's the case then we'll kind of go from there um and we're going to kind of work our way up in order to take him into custody. >> and like hurt my dog. >> I'm not going to hurt your dog. I'm a dog guy. >> She's going to get hurt. She can't jump off the bench. She's going to break her spine again. She's not. >> No, is she Is she on the bed? >> Yes, she is. >> Okay. So >> She's going to freak out, please. >> Okay. I got you. Can you draw me the layout of your house? Do you think? So I know where your dog is. >> I'm just so scared. She's going to get hurt. >> I don't know what I'm Look, I'm a I'm a dog guy. I love I love the dogs. Every time I'm on scene and there's a dog, I take pictures of them. >> I'm so scared she's going to get hurt, please. She's all I have. I don't want my dog to jump off and get hurt. She has a spine disease where she jumps or she steps down, she can rupture another disc and I have to pay $10,000 to fix her and I just don't know what >> I got I got you. I got you. So, if we can go back to this drawing so I know where your dog is. Do you think you can get him out if without having to go inside? >> If I like stand at the door, if I figure out where he's inside >> Do you think if we use a PA on our the the the cars >> Maybe, but I'm so scared she's going to freak out and she's going to jump off the bed. >> Okay, but he so >> Like I just want to do what's the best >> I I understand that. I understand that, but we're we're worried about your safety first, okay? >> but I don't care. I care about my >> I know you don't care, but we care about you, okay? And you're our priority right now. Sorry. >> Here, we're going to we're going to walk >> We're going to step back here, okay? >> But I don't want him to be shot. Please, please, please. >> Do you know if he's Do you know if he's still >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I think he is, but please don't >> Okay. Um you said that there's other You said that there's other guns inside. >> But then my gun is in there. >> gun do you have? >> Like a small handgun. I don't know what it is. >> Where do we think he is? >> Who else is I think maybe in the bedroom. I just I'm so scared about my dog. My dog is paralyzed. I'm so scared that she's going to get hurt. >> Come with me, ma'am. Ma'am. >> My dog is going to get hurt though. I'm >> Can Can you walk with me? Look, like I said, I'm a dog person. I need you to come with me. >> Please, no. >> Ma'am, I need you to come with me. I'm asking you very nicely, okay? Before I make you come with me. >> I'm so scared that she's going to get hurt. >> Okay, I get I understand that. >> Please, at least let me be near so I can help >> But look, your safety is my number one priority right now, okay? So, I need you to walk with me. >> Please, please let me be close so that I can run in after you guys like >> Okay, look. I got you. So, Ma'am. Ma'am. Like I said, your safety is our number one priority, okay? I I I care. It's my my job requires me to care, okay? So, look, I need I need you to go with this officer, okay? I'm going to put you in the You're going to go in his car, okay? That is for your safety, okay? Ma'am. Ma'am. >> I cops shoot dogs all the time. >> I'm not shooting a dog. I am not Is your dog aggressive? [laughter] >> No, but she's going to bark when you go in there. And I'm sorry. She's going to be >> No, it's okay. We have seven [laughter] K9s upstairs. We love dogs. >> Please, she's largely paralyzed. She's already had a bad day. Please. >> Let's go. We'll take care of her, okay? What's her name? >> Harley. >> Okay, hey. Let me Let me ask you this. Would it make you feel better if we put the car here? >> Yeah, closer. Just so I can As soon as you have him, can I go in, please? As soon as you have him. >> As soon as he's in >> Please, I'm so scared. >> you. Look, as soon as as soon as he's in custody, okay? I You're I'm going to come down here. I'm going to grab you. You're going to go get your dog. >> And can we try to call him? Give me your phone. >> going to. We are Look, we've already tried to call him. Okay, I'm on the phone. I'm going to I'm going to start doing announcements. >> Did he leave a voicemail? >> No. >> Okay. Can I talk him into over the thing? >> If that If it comes to that, I will come grab you, okay? >> Please, I He's not going to come out unless like I'm so scared. >> You might. Okay? I need to get him in custody, though. >> Like as soon as you have him, you can just leave? >> Yes, ma'am. But for right now, I need you to sit in there, okay? It's warm. It's going to be better for you in there. >> I swear to God, every single time that we have anything like this that happens at someone's house, I always get stuck in the back and everyone's like, "We're going to go in the front and point guns at people."
