these people came for free merchandise but the only thing they left with was a criminal record here are five instances when crazy shoplifters get caught red-handed number five woman thinks she can walk away from the police on January 12th 2024 officers responded to a Family Dollar Store in response to a shoplifting in progress employees reported that there's a suspicious group known for previous shoplifting attempts inside the establishment here's what happened when officers arrived they saw me they're going to park right now that's yeah where's the people that are the other lady in in the P of the vehicle she was just like real fidgy they just look like they were just addicts or whatnot how they reacting and so I had Reena finish watching yes sir so I'm doing right now we're all good had uh Reena watching them and then that's when Reena called me on my phone and said the other girl with the tank top on she split off from her friend so that's when I walked over and pretend I was looking for something in the freezer and cooler and she was getting ready to stuff the nails that time but then she seen me coming and she tried to make like she was looking for some food yeah so then that's when she the other girl went over to the freezer got a bag of chicken went and paid for her stuff she went outside and we kept watching the girl with the tank top surveillance footage and store employees caught the group hiding merchandise but just before the officer arrived the others had already driven off leaving the suspect to face the consequences alone then when I tried to when I went out there to look for her I didn't see her but then the other girl was looking real mysterious so that's what made me call call yall cuz I don't have time to be chasing nobody no more or fighting were called to a CVS after staff reported a woman trying to leave without pain upon arrival the manager quickly briefed them on the situation what's going on it's someone that we' caught stealing before okay so she's grabbed a couple expensive things she's walked around they've disappeared with her so we're pretty sure they're inside her purse and she has a large bag large I didn't see her put them in there I saw her grab the items leave the aisle walk around the store with them and when I saw her a little bit later she never went back that way and the items are no longer visible and I just checked the bathroom make sure she didn't just get stuff in there she was just back there so we just want to wait for her to bypass check out going back inside act like normal then what is she wearing number three shoplifting Duo caught red-handed after stealing hundreds in apparel on March 17th 2023 officers were dispatched to an H&M store following reports of an active shoplifting incident according to Mall security two women were seen exiting the store with unpaid merchandise officers arrived quickly and began pursuing them realizing they were being followed one of the suspects attempts to dispose of the stolen clothes by tossing them under parked cars however despite their efforts to evade capture both women were apprehended after a brief Pursuit here's what unfolded next the male suspect near the parked truck and immediately take him into custody after advising him of his rights the primary officer attempts to question him but much like the woman he shows no interest made a costly mistake when she attempted to skip scan items in her cart unaware that an officer working extra Duty was inside the Walmart store the store's loss prevention team wasted no time
